->'''The Kurgan:''' Ramirez was an effete snob! He died on his knees! I took his head, and raped his woman before his blood was even cold! ''[laughs]''\
'''Connor:''' ''[turns slowly to look at him]''\
'''The Kurgan:''' I see. Ramirez lied. She was not his woman, she was ''your'' woman. And she ''never'' told you. I wonder why? Perhaps I gave her something you never could... and secretly, she yearned for my return. HOLY GROUND, HIGHLANDER! Remember what Ramirez taught you!\
'''Connor:''' ...You can't stay in here forever.

For a villain there are many ways to get to a hero, to really make them hurt. One popular way is through their loved ones, and one of the most effective methods is to [[IHaveYouNowMyPretty violate their love interest]] and then gloat about it. Other wonderfully unpleasant things like slavery-for-life or just killing them are optional.

One variation has the villain not doing it themselves but instead ordering their lieutenant(s) or mooks to carry out the deed to much the same effect. Not ''always'', but ''usually'' done with [[AlwaysMale male villain]]/[[AlwaysMale male hero]]/[[AlwaysFemale female victim]]. Because it's a really horrible thing to have done to someone you care about, this will frequently provoke UnstoppableRage and/or ExtremeMeleeRevenge from the hero -- but also from people who don't even like or care about said love interest, as RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil.

Compare[=/=]contrast with NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization, where the victim may actually have enjoyed it or the rapist might be trying to convince the victim and others (possibly including himself) it was consensual, whereas taunts of such a nature are just the villain [[KickTheDog pretending as much for the sake of being a total prick]]. Related to EvilGloating, ReminiscingAboutYourVictims, and WouldYouLikeToHearHowTheyDied. Usually a very good way to push the RelativeButton. Can conversely overlap with ButForMeItWasTuesday if the taunt is more in the vein of calling the encounter with the victim "underwhelming".

[[folder:Anime and Manga]]
%%* The ''Literature/BattleRoyale'' manga got really nasty with this in the beginning.
* ''Manga/DontMeddleWithMyDaughter'': Done twice, during the ''"MILF of Steel"'' epilogue story.
** The first one shows Athena being defeated by her nemesis, Heavy Metal, who rapes her afterward. Then he adds insult to injury by gloating about how he and the rest of her enemies [[RapeAsBackstory did the same thing to her, 20 years ago.]]
** In the second one, [[BigBad Zenovia]] captures Artemis and repeatedly subjects her to increasing amounts of sexual pleasure, 'til her mind finally breaks from trying to fight it. When her sister, Athena, finally arrives to save her, Zenovia tells her she's too late, then drops another bombshell on her to rub it in:
--->'''Zemovia:''' ''(smug)'' "How does it feel, Eighth Wonder? Artemis [[BrotherSisterIncest used to love you]], but now, [[SexSlave she belongs]] ''[[NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization to me.]]''"
* ''Anime/{{Fractale}}'' has a retroactive version of this trope. The [[spoiler:[[BigBad male military commander]] reveals just how he's been testing and examining the mysterious waif]].
* Hard variation in '' {{Manga/Berserk}}'', where [[spoiler: [[TheHeavy Griffith]], or rather [[OneWingedAngel Femto]], is giving a silent, intentional stare to a restrained [[TheHero Guts]] as he rapes [[LoveInterest Casca]].]] And it isn't after the awful deed, but '' during it''.
* In ''Literature/FullMetalPanic'', this was originally part of Gauron's MurderTheHypotenuse plan for Kaname (seeing how she was "[[DefrostingIceQueen softening]]" the beautiful Assassin Saint Kashim). Thankfullly, she doesn't actually undergo this.
* [[BigBad Nakago]] tries to pull this on Tamahome in ''Manga/FushigiYuugi'', even going so far as to [[HoYay "show" Tamahome how he kissed Miaka.]] [[spoiler: Nakago never actually raped Miaka, partly because Suzaku was protecting her, and partly because [[RapeAsBackstory it hit too close to home for him]]. So it ended up being one of those "let's not and say we did" kinda things. Both Tamahome and Miaka believe he ''did'' rape her, though, and Nakago does nothing to dispel it either - until Soi explains it to Miaka.]]
* ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders'': J. Geil actively taunts Polnareff over the fact that he raped and murdered his sister, describing her as feeling really good and loving the way she screamed. It doesn't help that once he's got Polnareff cornered and is ready to kill him, J. Geil proceeds to say that Polnareff's pathetic for failing to avenge Sherry, and that he'll continue to be surrounded by rapeable girls like his sister.
* ''Manga/MakenKi'': {{Played for laughs}} in episode 7 (season 2), when Himegami summoned Nozuchi to get rid of Rudolf[[note]]a teddy bear she bought from a department store, not realizing it was alive... [[ReallyGetsAround and perverted]][[/note]] for her, but made the mistake of leaving her alone with him, while she took a shower. By the time she returned, [[SexyDiscretionShot Rudolf had banged Nozuchi]], who was passed out next to him [[WingdingEyes with hearts in her eyes.]]
-->'''Himegami:''' ''[incredulous]'' "N-Nozuchi! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER??"
-->'''Rudolf:''' ''[smoking cigar]'' "I reminded her of [[DoubleEntendre the joys of being a woman.]] It must've been a long time since the last time she'd done it. She was wild!"
* Happens in ''Manga/RougeNoir''; when [[spoiler:Kou]] loses it and rapes [[spoiler:his tutor Ayane]], he follows it with a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to her.
* In ''Manga/SakuraGari'', there's quite the variant. Masataka is raped by being forced to give oral sex to his rapist... and said rapist's ClingyJealousGirl of a little sister finds him at a well, mocks him by pouring buckets of water on him, and finishes by [[DefiledForever calling him dirty]].
-->"Tagami is dirty all over. Terribly dirty. So dirty that no matter how much you wash, it will never come off. [[CondescendingCompassion You poor thing.]]"
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* During the arc of a renegade precursor of the Doctor in ''ComicBook/TheAuthority'', the Renegade Doctor went back in time during a fight with the Engineer to sexually assault her back in high school, then mocks her upon returning to the present.
* ''ComicBook/{{Batman}}'':
** In the backstory of ''ComicBook/ArkhamAsylumASeriousHouseOnSeriousEarth'', the murderer who killed Arkham's wife and daughter tells him that they "begged him to abuse them" and calls his daughter a whore. [[PapaWolf This comes back to bite him]].
** This happens in ''ComicBook/{{Joker}}'', done ''by'' the Joker to [[VillainProtagonist Jonny Jonny's]] wife all because Jonny didn't tell him he had a wife and his meeting with Two-Face.
* In ''ComicBook/TheSandman1989'', Loki [[spoiler: after having his neck broken and his eyes eaten by the Corinthian]] tries to goad Thor into killing him by revealing that he had seduced Thor's wife Sif. He goes into rather lurid detail too.
%%* Played straight in the ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhost'' comic, which is generally [[{{Grimmification}} Grimmified]].
* When the ''ComicBook/SpiderMan'' comics revealed Kraven's second son, Alyosha, he only saw fit to tell Calypso the truth about his identity while mocking her for thinking he was Sergei ''after'' [[BedTrick they'd slept together]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fan Works]]
* ''Fanfic/ChildOfTheStorm'' has this invoked by Yelena Belova, the Red Room's new Black Widow, in the sequel when gloating to Natasha about how she'd claimed the Red Son [[spoiler: (Harry, who's ''14'')]], the Winter Soldier's SuperiorSuccessor, for her own, once again one-upping Natasha (the original Winter Soldier's partner and very fond of [[spoiler: Harry]]). She then molests him in front of her, to the disturbance of some of her own teammates. All this achieves is for Natasha to scathingly observe that all she's doing is gloating about raping a child, before delivering a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown so comprehensively brutal and one-sided that the narrative doesn't even bother showing it. Once this gets out further, to the Red Son's array of relatives... well. It's safe to say that Belova made a ''very'' big mistake.
* In the ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'' fanfic ''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3460966/1/Difficult_to_Fight_Against_Anger Difficult To Fight Against Anger]]'', after raping [[spoiler:Tara]], Warren Mears taunts [[spoiler:Willow]] by telling [[spoiler:her]], "[[spoiler:You know, I don't think your girlfriend is all the way gay.]]" [[StrikeMeDownWithAllOfYourHatred This is completely intentional.]]
* Heftargan does this to Empath in the ''Fanfic/EmpathTheLuckiestSmurf'' story "Smurfing In Heaven", combining it with WouldYouLikeToHearHowTheyDied, telling him that he and his fellow Schliphargons had their way with Smurfette before she died, attempting to make Empath so angry that he would kill Heftargan and "prove himself" a warrior. Polaris senses that Heftargan is using disinformation in order to undermine Empath's determination to find a way to bring his fellow Smurfs home.
* In ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9201264/1/Faith Faith]]'' by [[https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1816754/sbmcneil sbmcneil]], during the final battle, Bellatrix taunts Ginny about having raped Harry at the beginning of the story (the fic does '''not''' follow DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale). Ginny merely answers that Harry told her how Bellatrix needed potions to make him react to her, while she requires no such aid.
%%* Endgame by Tara O'Shea, the first-known ''[[WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfTheGalaxyRangers Galaxy Rangers]]'' fanfic on the web, used this.
* A pre-rape taunt exists in the ''Batman: Arkham City'' fanfiction ''The Last Laugh'' where Oswald Cobblepot threatens to show Marjorie Wayne "a good time" in front of her captured husband. Considering what her husband does for his nightly activities...[[ForegoneConclusion this was a pretty stupid move on Penguin's part.]]
* The ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'' fic ''[[https://archiveofourown.org/works/24177832/chapters/58230601I am Here]]'' has a variation involving what can be seen as borderline parental figures. Midoriya is raped by three guys. When All Might and Aizawa go after them, the leader has the nerve to say Midoriya was “asking for it”. The heroes show enough restraint to not kill the guy, but they beat him to a bloody pulp before he’s hauled in. Aizawa was seriously close to killing him but All Might warned him not to.
* Used symbolically in Cori Falls's fic "The Power That's Inside", where the leader of the Scyther swarm taunts Meowth with how he destroyed Jessie's hair to goad him into losing his focus during their fight.
* ''FanFic/RosarioVampireBrightestDarkness Act II'' uses this spectacularly. [[ArrangedMarriage Miyabi]] rapes Mizore, and when Tsukune and the others find out, he taunts Dark, Mizore's new boyfriend, by remarking, "If it makes you any feel better, she wasn't that good. She didn't even scream for me." He gets his [[KarmicDeath just desserts]] soon after.
* Gender-reversed a couple of times in ''The Shadow Chronicles'', first with a spider demon taunting Akane about what she'd done to Ranma and [[Fanfic/OnAClearDayYouCanSeeForever later]] with a succubus taunting Sailor Moon about what she'd done to Tuxedo Mask.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* ''Film/BadGirls'': Ned, the last outlaw to rape Lily, makes a remark about her coming to see him again where they can finish things. She shoots him for it, causing a gunfight with the whole gang.
* ''Film/BigBadWolf'':
** After the werewolf ([[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent who can talk by the way]]) rapes a girl in front of her boyfriend we get this.
---> '''Boyfriend:''' You animal! She was a virgin!!
---> '''Werewolf:''' Well, she ain't anymore.
** Later he does a pre-rape taunt when he threatens to rape a girl to lure the teens out.
---> '''Werewolf:''' Had fun, but now I have a little blonde girl to entertain.
* ''Film/BlueVelvet'': Frank taunts Dorothy with the line "''Do it for Van Gogh''" while he's abusing her, a reference to her husband who he's holding prisoner to force her to be his SexSlave and whose ear he chopped off.
* ''Film/TheBookOfRevelation'': One of Daniel's rapists says he surprised them with how "willing" he was afterward.
* In ''Film/TheCrow'', Tin-Tin taunts Eric Draven, whose girlfriend he and his buddies gang-raped, by telling him "I shanked her pink ass and she ''loved'' it!" Draven soon gives him [[RapeAndRevenge reason to regret this taunt]].
* In ''Film/TheDevilsAdvocate'', Kevin Lomax's wife Mary Ann claims that sleazy AmoralAttorney John Milton raped and scarred her. Lomax doesn't believe her, but when he later realizes that Milton is really {{Satan}} and confronts him:
->''"Well, on a scale of 1 to 10 — 10 being the most depraved act of sexual theatre known to man, 1 being your average Friday night run-through at the Lomaxes' household—I'd say, not to be immodest, Mary Ann and I got it on at about...SEVEN!"''
* ''Film/TheDevilsDouble'': When the father of a 14-year old girl that Uday had kidnapped, raped, and murdered comes to the palace to ask for explanation, Uday's "defense" of his actions is essentially to call her a slut and that he gave her a good time before throwing some money in her father's face. Pretty much the only reason why the man doesn't try to throttle Uday to death there and then is because of [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections the latter's power as Saddam's son]].
* ''Film/DrZhivago'': After raping Lara, Komarovsky tells her "Don't delude yourself that this was rape. That would flatter both of us."
* In ''Film/ForcedVengeance'', GiantMook Kam tells Randall (Creator/ChuckNorris) that his girlfriend (found raped and murdered in the previous scene) was [[YouNoTakeCandle "Good fuck!"]]. Randall proceeds to teach Kam what [[DestinationDefenestration "defenestration" means]].
* In ''Film/{{Gladiator}}'', Commodus tells Maximus that his wife "moaned like a whore" while Commodus's men raped her. Since Maximus had already spent nearly the entire movie in an UnstoppableRage, ramping it up from there over a few last-minute insults would have just been unnecessary. Doesn't mean Maximus didn't kill him when he got the chance, though.
* One of the most famous scenes in ''Film/TheHatefulEight'' involves [[spoiler: [[VillainProtagonist Major Marquis Warren]] use this trope to get an [[AssholeVictim old confederate war criminal]] to grab a gun so he can kill him in self-defense, angering him by claiming to have captured and raped the man's soldier son.]] The validity of this story [[UnreliableNarrator is open for debate.]]
* ''Film/{{Highlander}}'' - Centuries after the Kurgan rapes Macleod's wife, the Kurgan taunts Macleod that this is the reason his wife never told him about it.
* ''Film/InHell'': A non-verbal example when the guy who raped and killed the main characters wife blows a kiss at him while leaving court after his acquittal. [[VigilanteExecution He does not take it well]].
* A number of bad guys in the ''Film/JamesBond'' film series have used this.
** In ''Film/LicenceToKill'', Dario and his men taunt Felix Leiter with news of their murder of his new wife, among other things telling him, "We gave her a nice honeymoon," implying that they raped her before killing her. Then they feed Felix to a shark.
** Downplayed in ''Film/GoldenEye''. Alec Trevelyan doesn't actually rape the damsel in distress (as far as we see), but he does [[ForcefulKiss force a kiss on her]] and then gloat to Bond:
--->'''Trevelyan:''' Lovely girl. Tastes like strawberries.\
'''Bond:''' I wouldn't know.\
'''Trevelyan:''' ''I would''.
** In ''Film/TheWorldIsNotEnough'', as Bond prepares to execute the villain Renard, the latter quickly picks up on Bond's feelings for Elektra and taunts him thus:
--->'''Renard:''' She's beautiful, isn't she? You should have had her before, when she was innocent. How does it feel to know I broke her in for you?
** In ''Film/QuantumOfSolace'', General Medrano who raped and killed Camille's mother tells the latter in Spanish "Now your face has the same look of fear as your mother's did" when trying to kill her.
* ''Film/{{Kickboxer}}'' has Tong Po taunt Kurt as he's beating him during the final bout when he says he bleeds like his girlfriend, Mylee ("Mylee... ''good'' fuck!"), whom Tong Po had beaten and raped only days prior to the big fight. Meaning, he had also forcibly robbed her of her virginity. It doesn't end well for him, as Kurt '''''[[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beats his ass]]''''' for the remainder of the match.
* Done twice to Alex Cross in ''Film/KissTheGirls''. First in the interrogation room by Dr. Sachs and then in the finale by Casanova who taunts Cross about how he molested his kidnapped niece for ten days purely to press his RelativeButton. The first time around Cross loses his cool and attacks Sachs but in the second one, he maintains his calculating demeanor long enough to defuse the TakingYouWithMe situation.
* ''Film/NocturnalAnimals'': At the climax of the titular InUniverse novel that takes up most of the narrative, protagonist Tony confronts Ray, the man who raped and killed his wife and daughter, who brags about how he "fucked" Tony's wife and mocks him for being too weak to stop him.
* In ''Film/RobRoy'' Archibald Cunningham rapes Robert Roy [=MacGregor's=] wife, who avoids telling her husband for fear that he will do something reckless to avenge her honor. Rob does eventually find out, and when he's captured by Cunningham they have the following conversation:
-->'''Robert Roy [=McGregor=]:''' You're a thief, a murderer and a violator of women.\
'''Archibald Cunningham:''' Aah... I had hoped you'd come to me long since on that score.\
'''Robert Roy [=McGregor=]:''' If I had known earlier you would have been dead sooner.\
'''Archibald Cunningham:''' I will tell you something, to take with you. [[ReminiscingAboutYourVictims Your wife was far sweeter forced than many are willing]]. And truth put to it, I think not all of her objected...
* ''Film/{{Sleepers}}'': When pedophile Nokes remembers that John and Tommy were his victims, he cruelly states he was trying to "toughen" them up.
* In ''Film/WildThings'', teacher Sam Lombardo is accused of rape by two female students. They both claim that after the deed he told them "no little bitch could ever make me cum". [[spoiler:Subverted later on when it turns out that Sam and the two girls were running a scam together.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* A minor villain in ''Literature/TheDestroyer'' believes that it is not only a man's right but in fact his duty and obligation to have sex with women whenever he can, regardless of what they feel about it. He even boasts that he's "shown a few lesbians what they're missing out on." Needless to say, no one feels any sympathy for him when he gets his at the hands of Remo and Chiun.
* Subverted in ''PLAGUE'', book 4 of the ''Literature/{{GONE}}'' series; Drake Merwin does gloat about raping Brianna to her lesbian best friend Dekka Talent (who's in love with her), but it's a lie, and he never did rape her, only said so to upset Dekka.
--> '''Drake:''' I broke her legs so she couldn't run. She was screaming, but I think she liked it.
* In ''The Jester'' by Creator/JamesPatterson, one of the antagonists pulls this on the hero, whose wife was kidnapped while he was participating in the crusades.
* Occurs in the memoir ''Lucky'' by Alice Sebold, author of ''Literature/TheLovelyBones''. The man who raped and beat her was not found until the next year after they happened to run into each other and he taunted her ("I know you from somewhere"). She called the police but ended up [[MiscarriageOfJustice identifying the wrong guy in a lineup]] [[KarmaHoudini while the real rapist walked free]].
* In ''Literature/TheMentalState'', a rapist called Danny takes advantage of the protagonist's girlfriend while he is ForcedToWatch. Afterwards, he calls her a 'real party girl' and invites the other members of his gang to cheer for her, adding to her boyfriend's rage.
* In the ''Literature/{{Outlander}}'' series, evil DepravedBisexual Captain John Randall loves doing this to Jamie. He tries to make Jamie think that he raped his sister, as well as his wife -- despite the fact that it was later revealed that, in both cases, he was incapable of getting himself sufficiently hard to do that. Why would he do that? Because he's in love with Jamie, and in his messed-up mind, he loves seeing Jamie hate him.
%%* In Creator/AdamCadre's ''Literature/ReadyOkay'', Carver Fringie claims this [[spoiler: about Peggy]].
* In ''Literature/{{Scarlett}}'', after Scarlett is raped, she weakly orders her attacker to get out of her house. He invokes this trope without saying a word by laughing in her face and refusing to leave.
* In ''Literature/ShardsOfHonor'', Ges Vorrutyer attempts this but makes a serious misjudgement of which lieutenant to use.
* In ''Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire'', Euron Greyjoy raped his brother Victarion's wife specifically so that Victarion would be [[DeliberateValuesDissonance forced to kill her under Ironborn law.]] As far as the law is concerned, it doesn't matter whether she consented or not, but Euron claims she did, possibly just to add insult to injury.
--> '''Euron:''' She came to me wet and willing. It seems Victarion is big everywhere but where it matters.
* In ''Literature/TheSquiresTales'' Mordred has his [[TheDragon Dragon]] deliver this message to Myth/KingArthur about Guinevere and her ladies after he's taken over Camelot, almost prompting Arthur to break his own rules and KillTheMessenger.
* In ''Literature/TheWheelOfTime'', Eamon Valda tries to provoke Galad by gloating about how he raped Galad's stepmother.
-->'''Valda:''' She was the best ride I ever had, and I hope to ride her again someday.
* In ''Literature/WithoutRemorse'', one of the drug-dealing pimps who raped and killed John Kelly's girlfriend taunts him about it. He does this [[TooDumbToLive as Kelly is holding him prisoner and is actively torturing him for information.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* A female villain/female hero/male victim variant occurs in the ''Series/AgentsOfSHIELD'' episode "[[Recap/AgentsOfSHIELDS1E15YesMen Yes Men]]". The villain Lorelei boasts to Agent May about using her mind-control powers to rape May's lover Agent Ward. Lorelei also taunts Lady Sif about having used mind-control to rape Sif's love interest.
* In ''Series/TheBill'', DC Mickey Webb tracks down his rapist Martin Delaney after the event and is greeted with the taunt "Come back for seconds, have 'ye?"
* ''Series/TheBoys2019'': In "[[Recap/TheBoysS01E08YouFoundMe You Found Me]]", Homelander tells Billy Butcher about the night he raped his wife Becca, saying she was little more than a superhero groupie who enjoyed the sex so much she came three times. Butcher doesn't rise to the taunt, because that's just what you'd expect a psychopathic rapist to say. By the end of the episode, however, Becca is shown to be still alive and raising Homelander's son in a Vought facility, raising doubts as to the real story. The next season however reveals that Homelander really did rape her, and she accepted Vought protective custody to prevent her husband from going on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge (which, ironically, he did anyway, assuming from Becca's disappearance that Homelander murdered her).
* An episode of ''Series/{{Brimstone}}'' did this. The hero had to send his wife's rapist back to Hell. This is also the main reason Zeke was in Hell in the first place. He tracked down his wife's rapist. The guy bragged about it. Zeke opened fire.
* ''Series/ChicagoPD''. When he confronts his daughter's kidnapper, Antonio beats the crap out of him until Voight pulls him off. The man sneers, "She was good", and Antonio responds by shoving him out of a window to his death.
* ''Series/ColdCase'':
** Done in an episode when a father tracked down and confronted the pedophile who had abducted his son, and again when the younger brother of a rape victim confronted the rapist.
** Although SerialKiller George Marks didn't rape any of his victims, he seems particularly smug about putting the fear of that possibility into them (he forced them to strip to their underwear), especially the 14-year-old girl who had escaped an AttemptedRape sometime prior. He sleazily implies that the girl went from being terrified that she would be raped to practically offering herself to him in the futile hopes that this would make him reconsider killing her:
--->''"You have no idea of the things a woman will ''beg'' you to do, if you'll just let her live."''
** Marks also mocks Detective Vera about his failure to solve a SerialRapist case, angering him.
** A rare female example occurs in "[[Recap/ColdCaseS4E13Blackout Blackout]]". Lauren Williams sexually abused her own son, and had begun grooming her daughter Ginny's son, Matt. When Ginny calls Lauren out on being a terrible person and says that her power over the family is waning, Lauren smugly replies, "You might ask your precious son about that." The realization that her mother had begun molesting her son spurs Ginny into drowning Lauren.
* ''Series/CriminalMinds'':
** In "[[Recap/CriminalMindsS4E4Paradise Paradise]]", the [=UnSub=] asks one of his victims if she's ever wondered what it's like to be with a real man right before he rapes her in front of her unconscious husband. Then he taunts them both about the husband's "weakness" for being unable to protect the wife.
** One of the two {{Serial Rapist}}s in "[[Recap/CriminalMindsS7E12UnknownSubject Unknown Subject]]" told one of his victims "Nobody believes a slut who cries wolf" during the rape, which proves to be his undoing when he unthinkingly repeats the line during an interrogation.
* In ''Series/GameOfThrones'', Brienne and Jaime come across the bodies of three women who were strung up by Stark bannermen for sleeping with Lannisters. When their killers arrive suddenly, one taunts Brienne by saying "Two died quick. One died slow." This, predictably, angers Brienne and after quickly cutting down the other two men she gives the man a MeaningfulEcho of that line while driving a sword into his genitals.
* In ''Series/{{Heroes}}'', Sylar possesses Matt Parkman's body and sleeps with his wife. He later brags that she enjoyed Sylar's version more than she ever enjoyed Matt's.
* ''Series/{{Highlander}}'':
** One episode had an episode involving two Immortals, Jacob and Irena Galati. Irena was raped by a man, but because she and Jacob are gypsies, the townspeople don't do anything about it. As they and Duncan try to walk away with some dignity, the rapist and his friends taunt them. When the rapist says he should be paid a stud fee for his actions, Jacob loses it and goes after him.
** Possibly Caleb Cole in "Mountain Men". He yells to Duncan that "I had your woman", and it's not entirely clear if he's saying he raped Tessa or that she was with him willingly. Regardless, Tessa quickly yells that Caleb is lying.
* In ''Series/LawAndOrder'' and the ''Series/LawAndOrderUK'' episode based on it, as the detectives listen (watch) the recording of Olivet's/Alesha's rape, they hear the assailant taunting her throughout, telling that she "begged for it", calling her "bitch" and "slut" before finally finishing with "didn't that feel good?", all over her repeated pleas for him to stop.
* ''Series/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnit'':
** In "[[Recap/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnitS6E18Pure Pure]]", comedy actor Creator/MartinShort [[PlayingAgainstType plays]] Sebastian Ballentine, a psychic trying to help the detectives find a serial rapist and murderer who targets virgin women. [[spoiler:The entire episode turns out to be the trope, after TheReveal that Sebastian was the rapist and murderer all along. He tells the detectives that he [[PhonyPsychic pretended to be a psychic]] just to watch in amusement the efforts to catch him, and he talks about the one victim he raped and murdered as "the best sex I ever had".]]
** "[[Recap/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnitS7E19Fault Fault]]" has a serial killer taunting Olivia about how he raped and murdered his child captive. Subverted when it turns out that he never got the chance to do either before they caught him.
--->'''Victor Paul Gitano:''' I used her up and I bled her dry. You want to hear how she screamed? How she begged for her mommy? She was a slut, that one, a real little whore!
** A similar case with William Lewis, who often taunts Olivia in detail about his various crimes.
--->'''William Lewis:''' You want to hear how I tied her to the bed. Not too tight, so I could watch her struggle. No? Not your thing, huh? Oh... what about if I made her go down on her knees, forced myself inside of her? Or you want to hear about the pyrotechnics? How I put out my cigarettes on her. How I branded her private parts with keys and hot hangers. You want to hear how she was alone with me all night. A 60-year-old woman. She did things that... she never expected to do, that she never imagined were possible. With her fingers. With her mouth. Or do you want to hear how, at the beginning, she said she would do anything? I mean, she begged me for her life. And by the morning time, she was begging me to take her out of her misery. Which one do you think I enjoyed more?
* ''Series/NCISNewOrleans'': Pride's daughter is attacked while out for her run. When he confronts one of the men who was stalking her, the guy provokes him with a comment that leaves little doubt to what they had in mind:
-->'''Thug:''' Your little girl sure looks good in her running shorts.\
'''Pride:''' ''[grabs ahold of him]'' '''''What''''' did you say?
* ''Series/{{Outlander}}'': Angry after being cornered by multiple ultimatums, Captain Randall attempts to reestablish superiority by asking Claire if her husband Jamie ever told her the details of how [[ScarpiaUltimatum Randall raped him]]. Randall taunts Claire by insisting that he knows Jamie in a way that Claire never can and that he even remembers the sound that Jamie makes [[ForcedOrgasm as he orgasms]].
-->'''Randall:''' I know the sound he makes at the last, when he has lost himself...
* ''Series/{{Oz}}'': Invoked when Dr. Gloria Nathan is raped on her way home from work by an Irish criminal, and she suspects that inmate Ryan O'Reilly, who was [[{{Yandere}} obsessed with her and had already arranged her husband's death]], was behind it. When she confronts him, he gloats about the rape until she physically attacks him, but he later admits to Father Mukada that he was lying so she could truly hate him and [[IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy move on with her life]]. He later kills the rapist personally.
* ''Series/QuantumLeap'': In the 1991 episode "Raped", set in the early 1980s (even then, a time when rape was too often defined as being "the woman's fault"), Sam has leaped into the body of a rape victim. After her attacker, the town's all-American boy, is acquitted of all charges, he goes over to her house to taunt her and try to attack her once more... only this time, the attacker gets [[GroinAttack a very nasty (and painful) surprise]], forever putting his weapon of choice out of commission and exposing him as scum.
* Invoked a couple of times on ''Series/RobinHood'' between Guy, Marian, and Robin. Guy never actually ''does'' manage to deflower Marian, but after their coercive engagement, Guy tells Robin: "I'll laugh every time I..." (interrupted by Robin's punch), and then later says: "I'll [[HoYay think of you]] when I take her to the marriage bed."
* A Krommag commander in ''Series/{{Sliders}}'' taunts Quinn about her friend Wade Wells' destiny in a Krommag breeding camp (where she probably would be raped many times) saying "They say that human women can't come back to human men once they met the Krommag". This, naturally, infuriates Quinn.
* Averted in the second season of ''Series/SonsOfAnarchy''; when TheDragon rapes [[spoiler: Gemma]] to send Clay a message, all he says is "Tell your husband to stop selling guns to [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain niggers and wetbacks."]]
* ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'': An unintentional example appears in "[[Recap/SupernaturalS06E06YouCantHandleTheTruth You Can't Handle the Truth]]", in which in a deity causes everyone in a town to [[CannotTellALie speak nothing but the absolute truth]]. A man who is being treated by a dentist friend suddenly starts gloating about having molested his friend's daughter one night, which of course is immediately followed by the enraged dentist [[VigilanteExecution getting "creative" with his tools]].
* In ''Series/ThirdWatch'', there's a scene in which the rapist taunts his victim, who's confronted him at gunpoint, by telling him "You don't have the balls." The man promptly shoots him in the groin and declares, "Now neither of us do!"
%%* In ''Series/TheWalkingDead2010'', the Governor does this when he is torturing [[spoiler:Glenn]].

[[folder:Music]]
* Some of Music/{{Eminem}}'s vilest lyrics involve this:
** In "Medicine Man", Slim says "''I even make the bitches I rape come''".
** In his 2009 BET Cypher, Slim raps:
-->My dick is so big, if I add another inch to it\
You would swear when I raped you that you was actually into it

[[folder:Professional Wrestling]]
* Wrestling/TripleH roofies Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon at her bachelorette party. Later before her wedding to Wrestling/{{Test}}, Triple H reveals that he previously married an unconscious Stephanie at a Las Vegas chapel. After playing the footage of the wedding Triple H taunts Vince with one.
--> '''Triple H:''' Now Wrestling/{{Vince|McMahon}}, as a member of the immediate family, I know that you can have only one question in mind, Dad. And that is not "Did we," but "How many times did we CONSUMMATE THE MARRIAGE?!"

[[folder:Video Games]]
* A rather unique (but no less depressing) example occurs in ''VideoGame/ADanceWithRogues''. The protagonist is female, and it is ''her'' who ends up being a victim of rape; immediately afterwards, the rapist laughs at her pain and callously taunts her. Later, this man (who she is ''forced'' to work with as an ally) makes constant jabs at her, spreading nasty lies and making snide comments all over the place in regards to what he did to her. [[spoiler:If he falls in love with her, he stops this behavior, treats her much better, and is genuinely remorseful for what he did. Doesn't make up for it, but it's the thought that counts.]]
* In ''VideoGame/DantesInferno'', Lucifer gloats to Dante during his boss fight that he enjoyed "plundering his woman", referring to his love interest Beatrice.
* In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyTactics'' [[spoiler: [[AristocratsAreEvil Grand Duke Barrington]]]] taunts [[spoiler: Rapha]] talking about how he raped [[spoiler: her]]. [[LaserGuidedKarma Karma]] ensues.
* In ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoSanAndreas'' Freddie makes such taunts toward O.G. Loc, his former "[[PrisonRape punk]]" [[spoiler:before being killed by CJ]].
* In the elf campaign of ''VideoGame/HeroesOfMightAndMagic IV'', the hero's rival steals his bride and uses sorcery to get her to be his willing wife, in every way. When confronted, he gloats that he will always be her first. Luckily, the hero uses a magical mirror to reverse the spell, although she still remembers all that's happened.
* In ''VideoGame/{{killer7}}'' not explicitly stated, but heavily implied by Curtis Blackburn to his former partner Pedro Montana about his wife. [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes Subverted in that Pedro isn't really a good guy.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* In ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', when Stewie is trying to get rid of Brian's replacement, New Brian, he tells him that nobody in the family likes him. New Brian retorts that Stewie's teddy bear Rupert seemed to like him while he was humping him last night, as "he just lay there and took it." Stewie remains [[TranquilFury calm and silent]] for a moment, then the scene cuts to him [[GoryDiscretionShot dragging a blood-stained trash bag out to the curb.]]

%% No real-life examples on rape tropes. Seriously.
