Usually, a TV series will will try to find a way to distinguish itself from the rest of the crowd. One of the ways is to build audience anticipation for the next episode. But how do they keep it? Add a catchphrase, of course. Usually after the [[OnTheNext preview of the show's next episode]], we're treated with somewhere along the line "Next! On (insert show name here)! (insert episode title here)!". Afterward, there's that one phrase that this show keeps repeating in the end of every preview just once. And it's this trope. Sometimes, they pick a certain character to say the phrase, though sometimes the speaker changes.

* ''Literature/ChromeShelledRegios'': Thus far, it is either ''"[title of next episode], restoration!"'' or ''"Restoration to [title of the next episode]!"'' (The Japanese is the same; it's just that the fansubbers out there seem to be changing their minds on how to translate it.)

** Goku's greeting is used again in ''Anime/DragonBallZKai'' and ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'', and more consistently in the dubs to boot.
** In the English dub of ''Z'', most of these were done by a narrator, but a handful were introduced with something along the lines of ''"Hey, it's me, Goku"''.

YES![[/note]] The original ''Dragon Ball'' [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness fiddled around with many different catch phrases]], and this one caught on by the last few episodes.
*** Just like the aforementioned European Portuguese dub, both Z and GT Filipino dubs always ended the next episode previews with ''"Kaya huwag kayong mawawala! Hanggang sa susunod nating pagkikita! Paalam!"'' (Goku) [[note]]Translation: So don't go anywhere! Until we meet again next time! Goodbye![[/note]]

* The English-language version of ''Anime/TheGalaxyRailways'' had ''"See you next time on the railways!"'' (usually said cheerily by the main character, Manabu), though ''"We're going to encounter something at the next station"'' was what was used on the subtitles.

** ''[[Anime/MobileSuitVictoryGundam Victory Gundam]]'': ''"Please watch it!"''
** ''[[Anime/MobileFighterGGundam G Gundam]]'': ''"And now! Gundam Fight! Ready, Go!"'' (This one is an inversion, because this happens in the episode preview in the ''beginning'' of every episode.)
*** Also played straight in the actual previews, except it's shortened to ''"Ready, Go!"''
*** Stalker starts off every episode with "And now [Ladies and gentlemen], the moment you've ''all been waiting for...!''"
** ''[[Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeed Gundam SEED]]'' ends each preview blurb with a call of encouragement to the series's HumongousMecha from [[TheCaptain Murrue Ramius]], such as, ''"Cut through the tangled darkness, Gundam!"'' and, ''"Shoot down the approaching darkness, Gundam!"''

* ''Anime/MonsterRancher'': ''"It'll make your heart pound!"''
* ''[[Anime/TsukuyomiMoonPhase Moon Phase]]'': ''"Full... Full... Full... Moon!"'' Usually used to measure the time limit for figuring out the preview's riddle, but used even in the previews that have ''"Let's sumo wrestle!"'' instead of a riddle.

** The dub's version is ''"The Ouran Host Club will be waiting for you. We'll see you then!"'' Of course, there was a bit of [[HilariousOuttakes playing with the line]]... Examples notable to this trope include Creator/CaitlinGlass doing a pretty spot-on impression of Creator/ColleenClinkenbeard [[CrossDressingVoices as Luffy]] for the "On the next!" segment and appropriating the Anime/OnePiece catchphrase: "I'm gonna be king of the Host Club!"

* ''Anime/PokemonTheSeries'': ''"Minna, Pokémon getto da ze!"'', which means roughly "Everybody, we'll get you Pokémon!" For the record, that's the Japanese equivalent of the famous GottaCatchEmAll slogan. The English dub doesn't use this.
** There's variations of this too: Professor Oak has "getto ja zo" and Haruka (May) has "getto ka mo".
** In ''Best Wishes'', it is now ''"Tsugi no bouken wa... kore da!"'' ("Our next adventure... is gonna be this!"), said by Ash at the start of the preview.
* ''Manga/PopTeamEpic'': The ''Manga/HoshiiroGirldrop'' segments in the anime had ''"Fall in love again next week!"''. The show itself didnt have a catchphrase of its own, partly because they used the ''Girldrop'' segments ''as'' the preview.

* ''Manga/{{Pretear}}'': ''"I'll win in the next episode, too!"'' (Himeno) However, this was only used earlier in the show--as it started to become darker and Himeno's confidence started to falter, she ends previews with phrases like "I really don't want to lose. I really don't! But..."
* ''Anime/PrincessTutu'':
** ''"All children who love stories, come, gather round! [[EvilLaugh Hahaha...]]"'' (Drosselmeyer)

** Season 2: ''"There's still much more capuchuu!"'' (Moka)
*** The dub often simplifies it to: ''"And another... (kiss noise) Aaahhh..."''
* ''Manga/RozenMaiden'':
** Season 1: ''"Swear to me, on this rose ring."'' (Shinku)
** Season 2: ''"That is the melody of dreams."'' (Shinku)

* ''Anime/SailorMoon'': ''"The light of the moon is the message of love."'' (Usagi. The previews are invariably skipped in DVD releases.) Used again in ''Anime/SailorMoonCrystal''.

* ''VideoGame/SenranKagura'': ''"Catch it like your life depends on it!"''
* ''Manga/SgtFrog'': Starts with one of the many main characters talking about something that may be related to the next episode (though it is sometimes completely random), which Keroro then interrupts with''"Who cares about that?"'',''"It's one whole story/it's two stories together..."'' (referring to whether the episode consists of one story or two) and finishes with ''"How's that? Ke~kerooo!"''. (Keroro)
** Animax's dub replaces the last line with: ''"(Sir, yes/no sir!) Keroro!"'' (Keroro) Whether he says the bit in the brackets depends on how long the other character has been rabbiting on for and whether he says "yes" or "no" depends on the next episode's content.
** Whereas the official North American dub by Creator/{{FUNimation}} generally doesn't have a specific phrase, but sometimes has Keroro end with ''"Frog, out!"''.

** ''Anime/TransformersArmada'': ''"Fight, Convoy! TRANSFORM!''"
** ''[[Anime/TransformersCybertron Transformers Galaxy Force]]'' ''"Protect the galaxy! Transform!"''
** ''Anime/TransformersHeadmasters'': ''"Okay, everybody! Head On!''" [[BadExportForYou Not that viewers of the Shout! Factory DVDs would know that...]]
** ''Anime/TransformersSuperGodMasterforce'': ''"Now, you too use the Masterforce to Transform!"''
** ''Anime/TransformersVictory'': ''"Now, you too come together with us. [[GratuitousEnglish LET'S SAY GO!"]]''[[note]]It's a hard-to-translate pun: "seigo" means coordinate or integrate. As a rallying cry the phrase "Let's say go" is more like "let's get it together," etc. with a bit of Engrish flavoring.[[/note]]
* ''Literature/TrinityBlood'': ''"Avert not thine eyes."'' (Katarina and Abel)
* ''Anime/UmiMonogatari'': ''"Everyone, I love you!"'' (Marin)

** ''"Don't mock the power of the Jagan!!"'' (Hiei's previews only.)
** Also "Next time on Yu Yu Hakusho" and occasionally something along the lines of "You won't want to miss it"
* "Jikai, ''Manga/WorldTrigger'': [name of episode] ni trigger on!"

* ''Series/{{Arrested Development}}'': Most episodes ended with the narrator, Ron Howard, saying, "On the next Arrested Development." Seasons ended with, "On the next season of Arrested Development." The last Fox episode ended with "On the epilogue."
** Of course, none of the scenes shown actually appear in the next episode or season, making the catchphrase itself a gag.
* ''Series/Batman1966'' ('60s series): ''"Same bat-time... same bat-channel!"'' This was also used in [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries the animated series]], but in the Cartoon Network shorts, rather than in the show itself, which was more serious.
* ''Series/TheBeverlyHillbillies'': "Y'all come back now, y'hear?"
* ''Series/ChoujinkiMetalder'': "Koitsu wa Sugoize!" ("He's amazing!")
* ''Series/HawaiiFiveO'': "Be there. Aloha."
* ''Series/KaiketsuZubat'': "Zubat's stunts are very dangerous, so [[DontTryThisAtHome do not try them at home!]]"

** ''Series/KamenRiderDouble'': ''"This clinches it!"''

*** The TV Nihon sub translates this instead to ''"Switch on the Youthfulness!"''
* ''Series/QuantumLeap'': ''"Oh boy!"''
* "These questions — and many others — will be answered in the next episode of ''Series/{{Soap}}''."
** Also, each episode begins with an often long-winded explanation of events so far, ending with the line "Confused? You won't be, after this week's episode of...Soap"
* In the ''Series/SnuffBox'' next time... [X]... [Y].. and... pleasurrrrre.
* ''Franchise/SuperSentai'':

** ''Series/ChourikiSentaiOhranger'': ''"Chouriki Henshin! Olé!"''
** ''Series/SeijuuSentaiGingaman'': ''"And now, another page of the legend will be revealed."''

** ''Series/RescueSentaiGoGoFive'': ''"Emergency Signal!"'' This one's said at the beginning of the next episode preview.
** ''Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger'': ''"Next... Timeranger!"'' Also said at the beginning of the next episode preview, with the exception of the preview for Case File 36. The cast would also say this line too in some of the next episode previews (And once for Tac).
*** The final episode preview says ''"Timeranger, Final!"'' and on the episode looking back at the Sentai before them (As well as [[Series/HyakujuuSentaiGaoranger the one next after them]]), ''"Timeranger Special!"''
** ''Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger'': ''"Aiming for your heart, target lock!"''
** ''Series/EngineSentaiGoOnger'': ''"GO-ON!"'' (Said mostly by Speedor after the next episode's title.)

** ''Series/AvataroSentaiDonbrothers'': ''"... will be the title of our story."''
* A ShowWithinAShow example: On ''Series/TheMuppetShow'', every episode of "Veterinarian's Hospital" ended with the announcer saying "Tune in next time to hear Dr Bob say..."
** This variant was also parodied on the ''WesternAnimation/VeggieTales'' ShowWithinAShow "Silly Songs with Larry".
* ''Series/UltramanTaro'' and ''Series/UltramanLeo'' (which share a narrator) end their next episode previews with "Saa! Minna de miyou!" (roughly translates as "All right! Let's all watch it!")

[[folder:Other]]
* "Gokutai Kudasai" (Please don't miss it) or "Otanoshimi (ni)" (Look forward to it) is a phrase that is commonly used in anime or Japanese live action previews, the former more prominent in the 70's. The alternate would be "Jikai (Next time on), (Show title), (Episode name)!", and most anime and toku will use this.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Animation]]
* Parodied with the ''Liquid Generation'' series ''Masterpiece Movie Reviews''. Each episode ends with Professor Butterhands saying, "Thank you for watching ''Masterpiece Movie Reviews''. Join us next time/week when I [[[MadLibsCatchPhrase insert lewd activity here]]]."
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* ''WebVideo/EpicMealTime'' used to end its episodes with "Next time, we eat [[[MadLibsCatchPhrase strange thing]]]!" This stopped after the five-year anniversary episode, because several episodes before that, Harley admitted that he only had a few unused "Next times" left and couldn't think of any new ones.
* ''WebVideo/GameGrumps'': Where either Egoraptor or WebVideo/JonTron scream "NEXT TIME ON GAME GRUMPS!", only to either mumble incomprehensibly or spout a Non Sequitur, never really describing what might happen on the next episode. In-fact, when they actually do have something to say for the next episode, they point it out. Since he took on the role of [[LegacyCharacter Not-so-grump]], Danny's been using this to express his increasingly large amount of pessimism at Arin's skill at games.
* ''Creator/AchievementHunter'': "[=LLLLLLLets=] Stop!"
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* "Be sure to watch the next exciting episode with... WesternAnimation/ClutchCargo![[note]][[Creator/ComedyCentral "This is Clutch Cargo signing off. Now back to The Higgins Boys and Gruber."]][[/note]]
