A specific type of MemeticMutation, like the MemeticBadass but far, far worse for the character's reputation. Maybe the character has a habit of making [[SlasherSmile unsettling]] [[NightmareFace facial expressions]]. Maybe they are just [[NoSenseOfPersonalSpace a little bit too casually hands-on]] with the people around them, even if they don't know them that well. Perhaps their [[UnfortunateName name]], [[CompensatingForSomething weaponry]], or [[UnfortunateCharacterDesign design]] is a bit... suggestive of something. It could be justified in that those vibes of suspicion are coming from their preferred [[NoYay choice of company]] or [[ScarpiaUltimatum method of blackmail]]. For whatever reason, the {{Fanon}} hivemind will [[AlternativeCharacterInterpretation portray this character]] as [[BlackComedyRape a rapist for the lulz]].

Compare and contrast with MemeticPsychopath, who is depicted as AxCrazy for laughs. Compare and contrast with a MemeticTroll, who is depicted as a {{Troll}} for laughs. Compare {{Yandere}}, which is when a character is like this in canon.

* Advertising/TheBurgerKing:
** At Burger King, you can have it your way. ''The'' Burger King, however, has it '''his''' way. There used to be commercials that actually said 'Don't go to bed before the king.'
--->[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4_5qoy4oaQ Wake up with]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDO-yyZmc6s&fmt=18 the king!]]
** With [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5X4TSbGreA this song]] made to advertise ''[[WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids kids meals]]'', you have a pretty solid case for saying it's canon. The hand motions he makes at 0:29 of that video makes one fear for poor [[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants SpongeBob's]] innocence.
** It gets even worse with one of the newer commercials, where the King actually ''breaks into'' a building (granted, it seems to be the UsefulNotes/McDonalds headquarters, but ''still'').
** Maybe BK has caught onto this phenomenon. [[https://www.forbes.com/sites/marcbabej/2011/08/19/burger-king-decapitates-its-king-mascot-about-time/#4d74a456584a The King is being dropped as a mascot so that the chains can focus on products and "there are no plans to bring the King back anytime soon".]]
** Aaaaaand he's back. For the ''Presedential debates.'' Good grief.
* Uh oh... you better start running... No, ''really''. Because if you don't...[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gxzdo8FfrW0 BELLY'S GONNA GET YA!!!]]
* From Venezuela, comes [[http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_0P4hSWOi5ww/SdeSnU0EiZI/AAAAAAAAD8o/K-gNoI0DyUI/s1600-h/baneskin.jpg Baneskin,]] the mascot of Banesco.
** Not half bad than the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUc5PH7AcLg Childhood Inspector]] from that very same country. Who gets into your house very quietly, asks children to show them their bedroom and get dressed and then... he gives them a hot dog if he considers them "child enough". What were they thinking?
* For possibly no reason, Colgate's mascot Advertising/DrRabbit is often portrayed as a pedophile in most YouTubePoop videos.
* The 1960s incarnation of Ronald [=McDonald=] is, even accounting for ValuesDissonance, creepy as hell. In his [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5D6_6sSM-8 first commercial]] he first shows up sitting by himself in the dark, then the lights come on and it's a guy in the least-convincing clown costume ever, he has a tray with hamburgers and fries at crotch level, then there's this exchange:
-->'''Announcer:''' Ronald, come meet the boys and girls.\
'''Ronald:''' Oh, we've already met. I know we're gonna be friends because I like to do everything boys and girls like to do.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwb9W51j7fo The second commercial is even worse]] -- a kid isn't sure about accepting food from strangers, but Ronald tells a kid it's OK -- he's Ronald [=McDonald=]!
* Smiling Bob, because he's just... creepy. The fact that he's selling "[[AllNaturalSnakeOil natural]] male enhancement" pills only makes it worse.
** Possibly an Invoked Trope, since it's plausible the grotesque smile is the basis for the advertisement.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfzNEmqeIWo This]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVy6L99Q6tA&NR=1 dog]] (at the end of the one commercial, he quite literally looks like he's humping the kid) from a Japanese potato chip commercial. He's like the new Pedobear.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LU2yt6wOoK0 The old dancing guy]] in the Six Flags commercials. His name is Mr. Six.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X21mJh6j9i4 NEVER say no to Panda!]] I'd feel unsafe around that bear, and not because of his temper.
* The Travelocity commercials always feature their mascot: The Roaming Gnome, [[https://www.youtube.com/user/TRAVELOCITY/featured a lifeless garden gnome who seems to show up everywhere you go.]]
* There's a reason Jello's "Pudding Face" campaign only lasted three commercials. The original was the worst. It exaggerates the UncannyValley.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnZnQiNeGu8 The M&M's Candy Man]] has gotten this treatment for being a little too upbeat for some viewers.
* [[https://youtu.be/mJjybO12BBQ This commercial]] for Hydrox cookies has a guy in a Hydrox costume take his top off to reveal his, "creamy center". His vocal mannerisms make him come across as predatory, not helped by the ad ending with [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything two officers grabbing him and carrying him back to the box, as he panics]].
* In ''Literature/{{Crime}}'' by Creator/IrvineWelsh, the police refer to a pedophile as "Mr Confectioner" after a character from [[https://youtu.be/gxFiVgD2xNk this Toblerone ad]] because he looks like a stereotype sex beast and bribes children with sweets.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* ''Film/CoolCatSavesTheKids'': Cool Cat has a reputation as a child molester, as both ''Webvideo/YourMovieSucksDOTOrg'' and ''WebVideo/IHateEverything'' joked about. While he's supposed to be an elementary school kid, he is [[DawsonCasting played by a grown man]], and only hangs around children. His bizarre behaviors and dialogue (saying things like "I love all kids!" and "I love babies"!) doesn't help.
* If the Kink Meme is anything to go by, and [[IHaveYouNowMyPretty his behavior]] in ''Film/TronLegacy'' is any indication, then Clu's heading here faster than a stolen light-cycle.
* Jesus Quintana from ''Film/TheBigLebowski''. Paradoxically, nobody is allowed to fuck with The Jesus.
-->He's a sex offender. With a record. He did four months at Chino for exposing himself to an eight year-old. When he moved to Hollywood he had to go door to door, to tell everyone he was a pederast.
* ''Film/HarryPotter'':
** Lucius Malfoy in ''Film/HarryPotterAndTheChamberOfSecrets''. His first appearance involves the following: he introduces himself to Harry, talks in a simpering, slithery voice, (Mister Potter? Lucius Malfoy. We meet at last.), shakes Harry's hand, and then suddenly ''pulls Harry close to him'', where he uses his cane to pull back Harry's bangs to take a look at his scar, without his consent. (Your scar is ''legend''...) Or how in the fourth movie, he stops Harry with his cane and tells him ominously, "Do enjoy yourself, won't you? ''While you can...''"
** In the ''Magazine/{{MAD}}'' Magazine parody of ''Film/HarryPotterAndThePrisonerOfAzkaban'' ("Harry Plodder and the Pre-Teen Nerds are Actin' Bad"), when Malfoy gets attacked by Buckbeak, he says he won't describe what he's doing to him with his horse half.
** In ''[[Film/HarryPotterAndTheDeathlyHallows Deathly Hallows]]'', there's a bit where he tries to convince Draco to do something whilst leaning really close to him, stroking the back of his neck and whispering creepily. Draco has pretty much the same look on his face as when Bella was doing it: "Why oh why must my family keep pseudo-hitting on me?"
** Also that incredibly uncomfortable moment in the sixth film when Bellatrix, apropos of nothing, kisses Draco's neck. In a way one does not kiss a nephew. Made considerably worse by the frequent implications of inbreeding when it comes to the pureblood families (in the books at any rate).
** Oh, and then there's Ralph Fiennes' creepy portrayal of Voldemort in the fourth movie onward. Especially creepy is the way he calls Robert Pattinson's dead character "such a handsome boy" and strokes the corpse's face with his toes.
-->'''Voldemort:''' I could not touch him! It was old magic, something I should've foreseen... But no matter... no matter... things have ''changed''... ''(gets close to Harry)'' I can... ''touch you''...'''''NOW!''''' ''(touches Harry's forehead, causing Harry to scream in pain while Voldemort mockingly screams with him, almost sounding as if he's having an '''orgasm''')''
** That graveyard scene was just {{unfortunate|Implications}} [[NoYay in a]] [[ThisIsWrongOnSoManyLevels myriad of ways]], wasn't it?
** Gilderoy Lockhart had a large number of young female fans at Hogwarts. There is a spell called ''Obliviate'' that allows wizards to erase memories without a trace, which Gilderoy Lockhart was absurdly good at, to the point where he could make people not even realize what memories they had lost. Gilderoy Lockhart loved fame, fortune, and the admiration of his fans, and for a detention called students up to his office to sort through his fan mail. All alone in his office, with a man who could make you forget anything.
** Peter Pettigrew slept in Ron Weasley's bed. Remember that spell called ''Obliviate''?
** Bellatrix also gets on the action in ''Deathly Hallows'' Part I. [[spoiler:She pins Hermione on the floor and lies on top of her during their "girl talk".]]
** There's also the Snatcher (Scabior) who keeps cropping up in the ''Deathly Hallows'' films and [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids his uncomfortable fixation on Hermione.]] According to an Entertainment Weekly interview, they had to tone the creepiness ''down''.
** Then there's that awkward moment where Voldemort hugs [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZW_dwd_WJY Draco]] and moans his name while doing so, making it sound more like he's having sex with him.
* Willy Wonka from the more recent adaptation of ''Film/CharlieAndTheChocolateFactory'' inspired quite a lot of people to call him a pedo. (Probably due to some superficial similarities to Music/MichaelJackson to begin with; at the time the film hit theaters, Jackson's trial on child molestation charges had just wrapped up.) Note that he was intentionally depicted as eccentric by Johnny Depp, who got his inspiration from the [[ExcitedKidsShowHost overly enthusiastic kids show hosts of his youth]], as opposed to Jackson.
** [[http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&q=PotO-CatCC%3A+handling+it#/del6x0 This little cross-over comic.]] Even [[Literature/ThePhantomOfTheOpera Erik]] finds it messed up.
* Inverted by Creator/PeterMolyneux's "[[VideoGame/MiloAndKate Milo]]" demo at E3 2009 — the title character is a 10-year-old boy whom the player interacts with. Cue a million pedophile jokes.
* ''Franchise/StarWars'': Emperor Palpatine seems oddly interested in Anakin. And later Mara. And then Luke. And then Anakin.
** He also essentially {{Mind Rape}}d Mara Jade into obedience so strongly that she can barely defy [[ThanatosGambit his last orders even when he's been dead for years]], and that she undergoes ''[[EvilFeelsGood withdrawal symptoms]]'' from him '''not''' [[MindRape Mind Raping]] her into submission.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYXNRfXarjo This video]] CERTAINLY does not help matters. Then there's the scene where Anakin is debating whether or not to kill him, particularly made clear by the Podcast/RiffTrax version:
-->'''Palpatine:''' Are you going to kill me?\
'''Anakin:''' I would certainly like to!\
''' Palpatine:''' ''(closing his eyes and whispering)'' I know you would.\
'''Kevin (as Palpatine):''' Oh ''baby''...\
'''Palpatine:''' I can ''feel'' your anger...\
'''Kevin (as Palpatine):''' Ohhh, I can '''feel''' it..
** Then still, ''Film/TheRiseOfSkywalker'' confirms that Palpatine has a grandchild. Which means he had a child. Which means he had sex and quite possibly without consent. The Expanded Universe would confirm that Palpatine's "son" was actually a defective clone of Palpatine himself.
** Kylo Ren also gets this, mostly due to his creepily intimate reactions with Rey. As of ''Film/TheLastJedi'' [[spoiler:this has dissipated somewhat due to the burgeoning hero/villain romance he has with Rey]]. However, he has been replaced by:
** Supreme Leader Snoke whom, like Palpatine before him, has a very abusive relationship with his apprentice. Snoke has been compared to a child predator, grooming Ren since he was a ''baby'' to serve him unquestionably even though Ren knows he's just a pawn to Snoke. In ''The Last Jedi'' the creep factor is amped up [[spoiler:by him exploiting Rey and Ben's Force Bond, having them share intimate moments - including a ''ShirtlessScene'' with Ben - to serve as "bait" to lure Rey to him, before giving her a MindProbe so suggestive it makes Ben's own one in the previous film look tame - all while Ben's ForcedToWatch, naturally. And in the aforementioned climactic scene, he's wearing what looks like a dressing gown, open enough to show some bare chest]].
** There are a lot of memes about [[Film/ReturnOfTheJedi Ewoks]] threatening to rape people or telling them to prepare their anuses.
** Padmé Amidala is often labeled as a pedophile due to the AgeGapRomance between her and Anakin Skywalker; as Anakin was only nine when they met in ''Film/ThePhantomMenace''. This is despite the fact that A) she was fourteen in ''The Phantom Menace'' and B) Anakin only had a one-sided PrecociousCrush on her. By the time their relationship becomes romantic in ''Film/AttackOfTheClones'', Anakin is nineteen and Padmé is twenty-four.
* ''Film/TransformersFilmSeries'':
** Soundwave has already gotten this for "raping" a satellite in ''Film/TransformersRevengeOfTheFallen''. Which of course leads to {{Crack Fic}}s about the two (the satellite being upgrade to a female Autobot). Also in [[Film/TransformersDarkOfTheMoon the third movie]], Soundwave holds Carly hostage inside his vehicle form and proceeds to threaten her with several sharp metal tendrils.
** Megatron gets this reputation as well, especially in regards to Sam.
* ''Film/StarTrek2009'': Especially on the ''Star Trek XI'' kink meme, BigBad Nero tends to be written as something of a rapist. Has been seen perving on Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Chekov, and probably Bones and Sulu somewhere.
** So, to a lesser extent, has Ayel, Nero's [[TheDragon Dragon]] (quite often with them being this way to ''each other'')
* Freddy Krueger of ''Franchise/ANightmareOnElmStreet''. The biggest piece of evidence probably being a line from ''Film/FreddyVsJason'':
-->'''Dream Girl:''' His name is Freddy Krueger and he loves children... especially little girls...
** Creator/WesCraven originally planned for Freddy in [[Film/ANightmareOnElmStreet1984 the original movie]] to be a child molester as well as a child murderer, but trashed the idea to avoid being accused of exploiting [[RippedFromTheHeadlines a series of highly publicized alleged child molestations that were happening in California at the time the film was in production]]. While Freddy was never confirmed to be a pedophile or a rapist, the series is filled with innuendo implicating, but not outright saying it ("You are all my children now", etc). He is confirmed to be a child molester and rapist in [[Film/ANightmareOnElmStreet2010 the 2010 remake]], however.
* The Child-Catcher from ''Film/ChittyChittyBangBang'', for somewhat obvious reasons. Practically made canon with his VillainSong in the stage musical, which included a line about how the children "won't even need [their] pajamas". It proved so disturbing that the song's been cut from many productions.
* ''Film/LittleMissSunshine'': The host of the pageant.
* ''Film/{{Troll 2}}'': [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDgEplvXsyA&feature=related Grandpa Seth]]. He'll touch you in your private area.
* The creepy hospital guy who licked Sarah Conner's cheek in ''Film/Terminator2JudgmentDay''.
* Mike Myers's portrayal of the titular character in ''Film/TheCatInTheHat''.
* ''Film/{{Alien}}'':
** Xenomorphs are often treated this way. They give off a lot off rapey vibes, what with lurking in the shadows to stalk their prey. In the first film, one of them slides its phallic tail up Lambert's leg, and when Ripley is running around in her underwear, the alien is lying in wait, ready to ambush her whilst she's alone and helpless. Then there's the facehuggers, who forcefully impregnate people by [[FaceFullOfAlienWingWong latching onto them and forcing eggs down their throat.]] The implications were intentional, but that doesn't make it any less creepy.
** It's even worse in ''Film/AlienResurrection'', where Ripley is captured by the Queen and forced to engage in weird hybrid sex.
* Inverted for poor Bucky Barnes since ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier'' was released. The FanDisservice scene in which he's {{Mind Rape}}d while shirtless and tied to a chair was creepy on multiple levels.
* Lucas from ''Film/TheWizard'', ever since it came out [[http://www.shamoozal.com/nerdlog/the-wizard-where-are-they-now/ what happened to the actor.]]
* In-universe example with [[NoNameGiven The Recruiter]] in ''Film/Deadpool2016''. In canon, his job is to track down (adult) desperate soldiers and convince them to volunteer for unethical science experiments, but he's enough of a predatory creep about it that Wade compares him to a sex offender.
* In the German film ''Film/MusikMusikDaWackeltDiePenne,'' [[http://www.songtexte.com/songtext/chris-roberts/dein-teddybar-3de512b.html this song]] is sung to a girl who attends elementary school. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5kgqE0eE2Y Just watch at the scene which is uncomfortable to watch.]] In Germany, this movie has an age certification of [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids "6 years and older".]]
* A lot of memes predict that ''Film/AvengersEndgame'' will be won by Film/AntMan1 shrinking himself, [[AssShove climbing up Thanos' ass,]] then returning to full size.
** From the movie itself, Film/CaptainMarvel2019 was immediately hit with this trope as a result of her [[AccidentalInnuendo unintentionally lascivious]] one-liner with the canonically 16-year-old Spider-Man.
-->'''Carol:''' "Hey, Peter Parker. Got something for me?"
** ComicBook/ScarletWitch also gets this because she’s about 30 and her LoveInterest, ComicBook/TheVision, was technically only three (he’s a robot) when he got killed in ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar''.
** Considering how [[MemeticMutation memetic]] Thanos is in it of himself, it should be no surprise that he winds up in this territory as well. [[AbusiveParents He has an odd relationship with Gamora]], gets up close and personal with children, and [[FinalSolution wants to wipe out half the population.]] There are a few ways that this goal can be interpreted. [[spoiler:After he actually accomplishes his goal, he just becomes a farmer.]]
* ''Film/HomeAlone'': Kevin's Uncle Frank is viewed as a CreepyUncle due to a DeletedScene in which he pulls Kevin's pants down. Then there's the bit in the second film where he tells Kevin that if he ever saw him naked, he'd grow up [[GagPenis never feeling like a real man]].
* Zuko in ''Film/TheLastAirbender'' is one of these due to the way he says, "BRING ME YOUR ELDERLY!" to the people of the Southern Water Tribe. It comes off as if he has an old lady fetish whereas in the [[WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender the show it's based on]], he actually explains what he means. He's looking for the old people because they might know something about the SnipeHunt for the Avatar that he's on but that never comes across in the movie.
* Captain Hook in the 2003 incarnation of ''Film/PeterPan''. The film, unintentionally or not, milks the interpretation that Wendy is split between the [[PuppyLove tweenage Peter]] and [[PrecociousCrush more mature Hook]], but the issue is that Captain Hook seems to ''requite'' the feelings. This is mainly thanks to his lack of personal space, tendency to grab the protagonists whenever they're close enough, and the incredibly creepy way he first greets Wendy when she wakes up on his ship (stressing her surname into an endearment).
* Macavity of the ''Film/{{Cats}}''. He's broken every human law! So does that mean he's a rapist, a pedophile, and other unspeakably nasty things?
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* ''Literature/TheTwilightSaga'':
** Edward Cullen is wooing teenage girls everywhere with his Rape Face expression. Face aside, it doesn't help when you're probably over a hundred years old and pick up chicks from a high school cafeteria. And watch them in their sleep. A 117-year-old man dating a teenage girl.
** Quil, the werewolf in love with a TWO-YEAR-OLD! Have you seen the movie posters? He looks 24 and creepy, she looks about 12. With barrettes in her hair.
* ''[[http://www.amazon.com/Daddy-Single-Harlequin-American-Romance/dp/037316792X One Sexy Daddy]]'': [[NotWhatItLooksLike Despite appearances]], and the title, the girl on the cover is ''not'' [[ParentalIncest the one who considers Daddy sexy]], at least not so far as we know. The {{Love Interest|s}} is an attractive twenty-something gal in the small town to which the titular single father has been exiled... [[FridgeLogic which raises the question]]: why isn't ''she'' on the cover? There's some room for her if she were embracing him from behind while he's holding his five-year-old daughter.
* ''Literature/FiftyShadesOfGrey'': Dear ''God'', Christian. He's a stalker, control freak, gives off ''extremely'' rape-y vibes, and might be a sociopath. This has not gone unnoticed by the detractors.
* ''Literature/HarryPotter'':
** Fenrir Greyback's obsession with kids (his tendency to bite them, which turns them into werewolves, and then kidnap them and raise them to hate normal wizards) has been interpreted by a lot of the fandom as pedophilia. His remark about [[spoiler:Hermione — to ''[[LoveInterests Ron]]'', when she was about to be ''tortured'']], in ''Deathly Hallows'' — [[spoiler:("Reckon Bellatrix'll let me have a bit of the girl when she's finished with her?")]] only adds to the rapist vibe.
** Young Tom Riddle seems a heck of a lot like an Internet predator. He meets Ginny through a medium (not face to face), gains her trust and eventually starts manipulating her, and then convinces her to meet him in person, leaving her traumatized and drained. [[TeacherStudentRomance Tom also kind of seduced]] the much older Horace Slughorn. There were also those two younger kids whom he led to a cave while on a field trip. According to the owner of the orphanage, they didn't seem to be physically hurt, but they were "never quite the same" after whatever it was that happened in there...
** On that note, many found Horace Slughorn's fondness for "collecting" children, particularly teenage boys, a bit suspect.
** What about [[LaserGuidedAmnesia Lockhart?]] [[FridgeHorror A school full of girls drooling over him, and his talent with Memory Charms...]]
** Voldemort spends the series attacking Harry and messing with his emotions via invading his dreams.
** Peter Pettigrew, who spent years sleeping in the bed of (pre)pubescent boys as their "pet".
* ''Literature/TheChroniclesOfNarnia'':
** Mr. Tumnus, who lures a little girl into his cave to kidnap her, and [[BigBad The White Witch]], who apparently enjoys invading Edmund's personal space.
** The White Queen Jadis is just as much a creepy pedo in the books as in the films. She offers Digory (the future Professor Kirk) kingship over Narnia in the first book chronologically — with her as queen, of course. Then she pulls the same stuff with Edmund, and her creepy levels go up to ten because Digory is a better boy to begin with, while Edmund is a surly jerk who doesn't need much tempting — he gets better, of course. Plus The White Queen offers Edmund sweets before giving him a ride in her sleigh. "Want some [candy] little boy?"
* ''Literature/{{It}}'': Pennywise The Dancing Clown will [[ChildEater eat your children]], but only after he terrifies the living daylights out of them, since he believes that "you all taste so much better when you're afraid!" In [[Film/It1990 the movie adaption]], Creator/TimCurry exaggerates this. Probably had to do with the fact that [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVvp3nsMcuA he crawled out of the drain while a kid was taking a shower and watched him]], and lured another kid down into a storm drain with false promises of "cotton candy, balloons, rides, and other various surprises". Not to mention the countless other times where he tried to tempt people with balloons or stared at a lady with a rape face and repeatedly asked her really creepily, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk-hvVuZ0Sc "Don't you want it?"]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOUMIXbTM5U&NR=1 "Kiss me, fatboy!"]]
-->'''Pennywise:''' I'm every nightmare you've ever had! I am your worst dream come true! I'm everything you ever were afraid of!
* In Creator/StephenKing's ''Literature/TheGreenMile'', William "Billy the Kid" Wharton is this trope. He molests everything he considers "''attractive''" and not just that. Unfortunately, this includes {{jerkass}}es like Percy, too.
* [[Literature/PercyJacksonAndTheOlympians Luke Castellan]] gets this a lot, in large part due to the massive wave of FoeYayShipping surrounding him and Percy. Who is twelve when they first meet.
* Although the novel suggests otherwise, it was heavily implied by fans and movie critics alike that John Rainbird, the main villain in ''Film/{{Firestarter}}'', has a rather disgusting obsession with 9 year old Charlie [=McGee=]. It only further cements it when he talks to or about her. ("She's very beautiful and very young."). However, it was not until the less-than-popular sequel that it got confirmed.
* ''Literature/ASeriesOfUnfortunateEvents'': Count Olaf would just like Violet to know that "You may not be my wife, but you are ''still'' my daughter, and--" Just to put it out there: Count Olaf was originally planning on marrying and later ''consummating his relationship'' with Violet, who is his adopted ''14 year old daughter''. Count Olaf? Oh, he's about in his mid-forties, and he has the appearance of an ugly old man. In the second book, he actually makes a non-subtle threat in the form of ''rubbing a knife up and down her thigh''. He also frequently makes comments on Violet's beauty. In a later book, Olaf and his gang were talking about which of the children might have survived a fire. His answer? (Paraphrased) "I hope it's Violet. She's so pretty." Yikes!
* The Wolf from Music/StephenSondheim's ''Theatre/IntoTheWoods'', although a loose analogy to a human "predator", always ends up being referred to/played as a child rapist, even though the only thing he wants to do to the "Little Girl" is literally eat her. If you look closely at the PBS broadcast of the play, Mr. Wolf's sexual interpretation is very... ummm... evident.
* Considering that the above example is partly based on ''Literature/LittleRedRidingHood'' and other fairy tales (with all the creepy baggage and {{Grimmification}} that tends to go with the package), can you really blame people for thinking such? The original Big Bad Wolf has not escaped from this either, but considering he stalks a young girl across a forest then impersonates a trusted member of her family to get closer to her, this sort of thing is more than slightly inevitable. Then again, story was essentially AnAesop about how women should be wary of strangers because they might intend to rape and kill them. There isn't anything memetic about it.
* ''Literature/{{Discworld}}'': "Greebo could, in fact, commit sexual harassment simply by sitting very quietly in the next room." (Note that that line isn't a meme. It's a quote from one of the books.)
** Greebo is, however, a cat (even when magic-ed into human shape), so human sexual morality doesn't really apply to him. Not helped by a common description of him being that of a particularly dominant tomcat — the desire to 'fight or rape anything up to and including a four-horse logging wagon.'
* ''Literature/ASongOfIceAndFire'':
** Ser Gregor Clegane is a sadistic mass murderer and equally active rapist, but because he's such a devastatingly powerful warrior, the Lannister house does everything it can to keep him from paying for his crimes. While he's nicknamed in canon "[[GiantMook The Mountain that Rides]]", some fans have nicknamed him "The Mountain that Rapes" on account of his proclivities. FanNickname aside, this one isn't so much memetic as horrifically canon.
** Littlefinger's reputation as one grows with each book. He seems to have passed his obsession with Catelyn Stark onto her daughter Sansa, who is described as looking very much like her mother.
** Joffrey is known to have bullied his little brother Tommen, but it is commonly believed by fans that he molested him as well.
** Euron Greyjoy's sexual abuse of his two younger brothers including Aeron and his oozing interaction with some of the characters has earn him this reputation among the fandom.
** Both Ramsay Snow/Bolton and his father Roose. Although much like Gregor, not so much memetic since Roose gives us the unforgettable line, "Don't make me regret the day I raped your mother" to his son. Roose starts to get this reputation as early as the ''first book'', as Robb is creeped out by him. Nearly every viewpoint character that interacts with Roose takes notice of his creepy eyes and features and very low, almost whisper-like voice. At one point in Arya's chapters, he makes her attend him while he is naked and being leeched.
** Viserys, although much like Gregor Clegane, this one is more or less canon as well. In Dany's very first chapter, he is noted as being incredibly invasive of his sister's personal space. In the TV series, when she is about to be bathed, Viserys "examines" her and caresses her nipples. Dany's facial expressions make it seem like this is a common occurrence for her. The fifth book revealed that [[spoiler:Viserys was planning on taking her virginity first before Drogo had a chance to, but Illyrio put guards outside Dany's bedchamber to prevent it from happening]].
* Drake Merwin from ''Literature/{{Gone}}'', although {{canon}} seems to be encouraging this now. In Gone and Hunger, it was mostly just a couple lines he says to/about Diana, but by Plague, he's talking about [[spoiler:Brianna]] enjoying nonspecific torture [[spoiler:he's pretending]] she received from him, winking at Astrid while threatening to "come up and play" with her, and fantasizing about what a [[IHaveYouNowMyPretty long time he'll take with Diana]] when he gets to her. In short, downright creepy. It becomes officially canon in ''Light'': [[spoiler:He has sexual fantasies about Gaia, who has the body of a nine year-old girl. Gaia seems to be largely fine with this, presumably since she could just kill him if things went too far, but it's incredibly creepy for the reader]].
* The Franchise/StarWarsExpandedUniverse gives us Jacen Solo and his second Sith apprentice, Tahiri Veila. They love his first Sith apprentice, Ben Skywalker. Really. That Jacen's mentoring of Ben is played for all it's worth like pedophilia doesn't help. Tahiri then actually offers Ben sex in exchange for information!
* The HippieTeacher Miss Edmunds in ''Literature/BridgeToTerabithia'' takes Jess on a cross-state trip to a museum by himself. She just asks him one day if he wants to go with her and doesn't even ask his parents herself (Jess instead asks his half-asleep mother for permission and Miss Edmunds doesn't question him further). While this [[ValuesDissonance might have been acceptable in the mid-70s]], to modern day audiences, it's quite creepy for a unrelated woman to just leave with a 10-year old (12 in the 2007 film) like that. It's even more jarring in the 2007 film due to the SettingUpdate. To make it worse, Jess has [[TeacherStudentRomance a crush on her]] and she treats him more affectionately than the others (due to his artistic abilities), but canonically it's never presented as anything but platonic on her part.
* ''Literature/WarriorCats'':
** After ''Spottedleaf's Heart'', Thistleclaw has gotten this treatment. {{Age Gap Romance}}s are nothing new to the series; however, pairings involving apprentices (who are usually 6-12 months old, roughly the equivalent of 10-14 in humans) and warriors are almost unheard of. Cats can reach sexual maturity as early as 6 months, but it's recommended they don't have kittens until they're at least 1 year old. Thistleclaw already had an adult child when he fell for Spottedpaw, who was still an apprentice at the time. This is essentially the equivalent of an older adult trying to woo a preteen or early teenager. It's likely that as Thistleclaw is a HateSink character, he was made to fall for an apprentice as a way of making fans hate him more... and it worked.
** Many detractors make fun of Spottedleaf for falling in love with the young Firepaw and find her even creepier for continuing to have ShipTease with Firestar even after she's died and he's moved on and had kits with another. However, this view on Spottedleaf has become less common after ''Spottedleaf's Heart'', where it's shown that as an apprentince, Spottedleaf herself was [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything essentially]] groomed and manipulated by an adult.
** Ashfur has a bad reputation of being a {{yandere}} CrazyJealousGuy who tries to make Squirrelflight love him, even after she's had children with another. His reputation isn't helped by the fact that he's Squirrelflight's uncle according to the writers.
* The Franchise/CthulhuMythos has Y'golonac (''[[SpeakOfTheDevil GODS NO, YOU'VE DOOMED US ALL]]!'') from Ramsey Campbell's Severn Valley Mythos. He's a fat, headless monster with a penchant for all acts of depravity, especially serial murder and rape, the latter of which falls under his sphere of influence.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* {{Inverted|Trope}} with [[Series/{{Dateline}} Chris Hansen]]; he's a memetic molester ''hunter''.
* Barney, the titular character of ''Series/BarneyAndFriends'', may as well be the poster child for this trope. Think about it: he's always hanging around kids, "I love you" is practically his catchphrase (to the point he has a song about it; you know the one), and to make matters worse, he sounds incredibly creepy when he talks. All that's missing is a van with "Free Candy" painted on the side.
** Also, he is a ''UsefulNotes/TyrannosaurusRex'' and the cast of kids he is hanging with change every season...
* Quite a few monsters and/or villains in ''Series/AreYouAfraidOfTheDark'' have aspects of this trope. Notable examples include a silver midget from "Renegade Virus" who stalked a kid and tried to take over his brain ("I think I'm going to ''enjoy'' being inside your brain." *SlasherSmile*), the vampire from "Night Shift", Nosferatu from "Midnight Madness", The Ghastly Grinner, the Crimson Clown (the thing crawled into a kid's ''bed'' and tied him up), Peter from "Captured Souls", Zeebo the Clown, Dr. Vink, the [[CreepyDoll life-sized doll]] from "Dark Music", the spirit that haunted the pool in "Dead Man's Float", Captain Cutter in "Cutters Treasure", Madame Visage of "Many Faces", and many more.
* A Nickelodeon short called "Attack Of The Giant Vulture" gives this sort of vibe to the vulture who preys on a little girl, corners her in a tunnel, and tries to eat her and her friends.
* ''Series/BeakmansWorld'': Lessee, MadScientist, lime green labcoat, literal lab rat... you wonder what Beakman's done to his assistants. Especially Phoebe...
* Giles from ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'', you got to wonder why no one questioned him always being alone with teenage girls. Lampshaded three times:
** First one:
-->'''Willow:''' He's our grown-up friend, but not in the creepy way.
** Second...
-->'''Giles:''' Now wait a minute - you think I'm evil... if I bring a group of girls on a camping trip and '''[[ItMakesSenseInContext don't]]''' touch them?
** And [[RuleOfThree three!]]
-->'''Buffy:''' When I kissed you? You know I was thinking about Giles, right?\
'''Spike:''' ''(DoubleTake)'' You know, I always wondered about you two.
** Angel too, of course. He's a centuries-old vampire, and even without taking that into account, the flashback to his funeral establishes that he was turned at twenty-six. It's completely canon that he and Buffy consummated when she had just turned seventeen, and were at the stage of regular making out before this, but properly understood, this isn't squicky. The memetic interpretation is that Angel is an {{Ephebophile}} who was planning to exploit Buffy from the moment he laid eyes on her. The best fodder for such an interpretation is the flashback scene in "[[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS2E21BecomingPart1 Becoming Part 1]]" in which Buffy is just a sixteen-year-old coming out of school, giggling girlishly with her friends, while Angel sits in a car parked in the shadows, watching her without her knowing he exists.
* The evil puppets from the ''Series/{{Angel}}'' episode "[[Recap/AngelS05E14SmileTime Smile Time]]". The episode opens with a puppet on the TV screen asking a child to touch the TV screen reassuring him that it will be okay, then magically sucking the life energy out of him while making moans of pleasure [[DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything reminiscent of sexual pleasure]]. A later line in the episode makes it clear that the puppets' explicit goal is to steal the innocence of children and export it into the hell dimensions.
* The Reaper from ''Series/CriminalMinds''. In his debut, it's mentioned he has a thing for teenage girls, and the scenes where he's torturing Hotch in "Faceless, Nameless" have a distinct rape vibe, especially since he's shirtless. In "100", when he's [[IHaveYourWife taunting]] Hotch over the phone, he even says something to the effect of "Tsk tsk. Be gentle. Like I was with you."
* ''Series/DoctorWho'':
** The creators had this trope in their heads before the show came out. The Doctor's first companion Susan was rewritten to be his granddaughter as they thought an old man travelling with an unrelated teenage girl would look bad.
** The Master, most commonly with the Doctor, due to NoSenseOfPersonalSpace coupled with epic levels of FoeRomanceSubtext, though other characters are certainly not immune. Sort of inevitable considering his tendency to spout ridiculously suggestive lines while he asserts his dominance, physically or emotionally, and how ''his friggin' name is "the Master"''. In the Master's female incarnation as Missy (short for "Mistress"), she even tells others that the Doctor is her "boyfriend" and kisses him before revealing who she is.
** Especially considering his tendency to tie up and imprison the Doctor, once for an entire year! It would be harder to believe he ''didn't'' do anything untoward in all that time...
** The Doctor is over 900 years old (and has a granddaughter). Rose, who was canonically in love with him and settled down with his clone, was a 19-year-old girl. Age difference of roughly nine centuries. I'm saying nothing.
*** The worst part? He's been saying he's 900 for centuries.
*** Seriously, the Doctor does a ''really'' good job of avoiding this trope when you think about it.
*** The [[EnemyWithout Dream Lord]] mocks him for this in "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS31E7AmysChoice Amy's Choice]]", saying that he abandons people once they "grow up" and that "the old man prefers the company of the young".
** [[DirtyOldWoman "Minnie the Menace"]] from "[[Recap/DoctorWhoS30E17E18TheEndOfTime The End of Time]]". Who wouldn't want to grope the Doctor's butt?
** Amy Pond towards the Doctor.
** And Captain Jack will get you bi tonight.
* ''Series/{{Dollhouse}}'': Bennett seems to enjoy tying people down to her tables and doing ''horrible'' things to their [[MindRape brains.]]
* Drake Parker from ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' became this in 2021 after Drake Bell pleaded guilty to inappropriate conduct with a minor. This makes a lot of moments on the show very creepy in hindsight, such as Drake talking about how much he likes little kids, or him dealing with a little girl who has a crush on him.
* ''Series/{{Firefly}}'':
** Jubal Early from "[[Recap/FireflyE14ObjectsInSpace Objects in Space]]" crawls inside you uninvited.
** And The Operative wants to take you home.
** The Reavers raping you to death '''first''' is the best possible outcome.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nElKVjN3oL0 Creepin' Littlefinger]] of ''Series/GameOfThrones'', with regard to [[LoveFatherLoveSon Sansa Stark]]. Unfortunately, as described under the Literature section, this is more or less ''canon''.
* Will Schuester on ''Series/{{Glee}}'' often seems a little inappropriate with his students, giving rise to the [[http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/pedowill PedoWill]] meme. There is also a [[http://marlak.tumblr.com/post/9121510023#notes video]] about it.
** Happend to Dave Karofsky after "Never Been Kissed". The amount of "Karofsky rapes Kurt" fanfics after that episode are too numerous to count.
* ''Series/{{Heroes}}'':
** Chandra Suresh. ChandraĂ—Gabriel and ChandraĂ—Eden are usually considered consensual, if [[NoYay squicky]], but ChandraĂ—Mohinder, ChandraĂ—Shanti, and, for some bizarre reason, ChandraĂ—Monty? Not so much. It's been mentioned that Mohinder wouldn't have been able to run out and buy last-minute curare to dose Sylar with, so it's become a [[BlackComedy running joke]] that it was Chandra's, which he planned to use to drug the specials he lured back to the apartment.
*** Mohinder even said that the chai (which he secretly dosed with curare) is his father's recipe when Sylar asks about it.
** [[{{Squick}} Arthur Petrelli]]: 90% of the time this is his fanfic characterization, [[SarcasmMode because he apparently wasn't enough of a douchebag in canon.]] (The whole "bad-touch power" thing doesn't help.)
** What about Sylar? Jeez, Zachary Quinto manages to make him multiple types of creepy at once, including serial-killer-creepy, Mommy-issues-creepy, mind-rape-creepy, [[RunningGag literal-mind-rape-creepy]], [[OverlyLongGag not-literal-mind-rape-creepy]], I-''will''-find-you creepy, and most of all, rapist creepy. He's even creepy in the flash backs and flash forwards when he's not a serial killer. Zachary Quinto is amazing[[spoiler:[[RunningGag -ly creepy]]]].
-->"Eat your brain? Claire... that's ''disgusting''..."
** Eric Doyle, the Puppet Master ([[AllThereInTheManual though that one is canon]]).
** Samuel Sullivan from season four qualifies. Let's see, he runs a carnival and plays into the creepy, perverted carny stereotype quite well. He has sexual tension with everyone and is constantly being all touchy-feely with his main hench-people, Lydia and Edgar. Oh, and he does the same thing to Sylar, Hiro, and really almost anyone who visits his carnival. Not to mention, he has Lydia use her empathy power so that he can stalk other specials and recruit them to his carnival. Samuel's memetic molester behavior is parodied in this (safe for work) fanart: [[http://quotidia.deviantart.com/gallery/?q=heroes#/d2bdimu]]
* ''Series/{{House}}'':
** Tritter, with his main victims being House, Wilson or Chase. Helped by David Morse being unbelievably creepy in the role.
** [[AntiHero House]] himself can be seen as this sometimes. Remember when he asked a little girl if ''[[ThisIsWrongOnSoManyLevels she had hair in her special place]]''? But House manages to avert this quite well, actually. Despite ''constant'' sexual comments towards almost everyone and claiming to spend absurd amounts of money on prostitutes, there are about three times in the entire series he has had sex, [[spoiler:one of which was a hallucination]].
%%* [[http://www.coffeedrunk.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/001_pics_lazytown.jpg Sportacus]] from ''Series/LazyTown''.
* Papa Lazarou from ''Series/TheLeagueOfGentlemen'', in and out of canon. You're ''his'' wife now, Dave.
-->"How nice to see you again. ''All. Grown. Up''."
* The Temple Guards of ''Series/LegendsOfTheHiddenTemple''. They sometimes hide in trees and grab children with their branches. They'd also sometimes hide in armor that the player was supposed to press themselves against and grab them with that.
* ''Series/{{Merlin|2008}}'' has Gaius, to an extent, based on several slightly squicky scenes where he asks young men to take off their shirts, and ''drugs them, then sits and watches them fall asleep''. He's a physician. The shirt needed to be taken off so that he could assess the damage and possibly apply the necessary medicine. While drugging Arthur was unethical to the extreme, he was ordered to by the king, and, at least, he did do the responsible thing and stay close by in case Arthur had a reaction to the drug. He didn't have to look like he enjoyed it, though...
* Oliver "Creepy Ollie" Leek (also known as Eek!Leek) has this reputation in the ''Series/{{Primeval}}'' fandom. Try to find any sort of fic where he gets laid and there isn't coercion of some kind involved. Try.
* Hoyt of ''Series/RizzoliAndIsles'' has a lot of creepy rape undertones to his behavior.
* ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'':
** Azazel; if you don't see it, you aren't paying attention. Mostly confirmed in the flashback of how he first met the Winchester family.
** Alastair. Oh dear.
** Crowley. For starters, he's over 300 years old, [[https://youtu.be/9Qap2U1WjWw brokers deals mainly by kiss]], and [[BiggerIsBetterInBed given what he sold his soul for...]]
*** He also makes a DoubleEntendre whenever he gets the chance, and WordOfSaintPaul states he enjoys making people uncomfortable for his own amusement.
*** Not to mention he possessed a woman and had a foursome with her husband and another couple! Chuck help you...
*** His temporary marriage to Lola. Enough said.
** Lucifer. Dear ''God''. His tormenting of Sam in season 5 in regards to wanting to possess him (needing his consent to do so, talking about how he will make Sam 'let him in') was joked about... then in season 7 they became dodgier bunk-buddy comments about making Sam his bitch in "''every'' sense of the term" during the year Sam was trapped in Hell with him. It's now pretty much considered canon by much of the fandom that he tortured Sam sexually.
--->'''''Lucifer:''' That's what I'm talking about, Sam! Real interaction again, I miss that! The rapier wit, the wittier rape....''
* Inversion: Doggie Kruger from ''Series/TokusouSentaiDekaranger'' will be anyone's [[{{Pun}} bitch]] — gay, straight, male, female, non-human, non-''organic''... they will tie him up and have their way with him, any time, any place, any way. He may secretly enjoy it, but he has no choice.
* Justin from ''Series/WizardsOfWaverlyPlace'' is a smart, controlled, studious, mature, flawless young [[MadScientist scientist]]-[[BadassBookworm bookworm]], who always takes care and saves his [[ManipulativeBastard little sister]] from impending doom. His expression in [[http://cdn.buzznet.com/media/jjr/headlines/2009/11/selena-gomez-david-henrie-dollhouse.jpg this image]] suggests that it's not quite like that.
* Cossutius from ''Series/SpartacusGodsOfTheArena'', which isn't that far off, really. His EstablishingCharacterMoment is when he talks about purity and ugliness coexisting, and proves it by having a dirty and smelly gladiator rape the beautiful Diona. He's clearly excited by it, and decides to anally rape her ''at the same time''. He is repeatedly shown having a fondness for rape, and makes an offhand comment about how [[FridgeHorror none of his slaves are virgins.]] He became known as [[FanNickname Mr. Rape Face]].
* ''Series/StarTrekTheOriginalSeries'': Captain Kirk is memetically known for BoldlyComing well out of proportion to how often it actually happens in the series. [[https://www.thecaptainkirkpage.com/kirksex.html But when fans run the numbers]], it turns out that [[http://strangehorizons.com/non-fiction/columns/freshly-rememberd-kirk-drift/ he actually unambiguously sleeps with someone only about two to four times in the series]], and remarkably, in each case he was at least arguably under some form of constraint. What happens much more frequently is that he ''flirts'' with a woman who is (or whose faction is) threatening the ship in some way, as a distraction.
* In ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'', many in the fandom believe that the Traveler is ''clearly'' lusting after Wesley.
* In ''Series/StarTrekVoyager'', due to some UnfortunateImplications of the Ocampan [[RapidAging lifespan]], Neelix's relationship with Kes can easily be interpreted as pedophilic. It doesn't help that he can also be come off as rather [[CrazyJealousGuy possessive]] and just plain [[TheScrappy creepy]], particularly in the earlier seasons.
* Hannibal Lecter from [[{{Series/Hannibal}} the series of the same name]] gets a fair bit of this as far as his relationship with Will Graham is concerned. Comments by his actor Mads Mikkelsen, which confirm that he loves Will in his own twisted fashion, don't help. Nor does the fact that Hannibal is {{Gaslighting}} Will through a decent part of the series [[spoiler:to convince him that he's a serial killer]] and essentially mentally raping him.
* An in-universe example is John "Paedo" Kennedy from ''Series/TheInbetweeners''. His reputation is entirely deserved, as he attempts to make moves on [[TheDitz Neil]] constantly.
* Jesse from ''Series/FullHouse'' seems to love kissing young girls and loses interest in Stephanie when she gets too old and moves onto Michelle.
* Facebook page, ''[[https://facebook.com/mafiabelfast/ Belfast Mafia]]'' makes a lot of memes about ''Series/CoronationStreet'' character, Jim [=McDonald=] threatening to "buck" people to death.
* ''Series/TheUmbrellaAcademy2019'' has the Handler, who make some very uncomfortable remarks at Number Five, who while mentally fifty eight, is physically thirteen.
* The [[{{Robeast}} Beast Fighter]] Daiga from ''Series/VoltesVLegacy'' has gained quite a reputation of this trope due to its PsychoticSmirk coming off as more perverted than bloodthirsty. Add that to its [[CombiningMecha fusion with the serpentine Beast Fighter Negg]] and the results are plenty of memes depicting Daiga as a sex maniac and its combined form being sexual in nature.
* ''Series/YoGabbaGabba'': Foofa is going to [[WesternAnimation/SouthPark tame your strange]].
* ''Series/StrangerThings'': Vecna. How could he ''not'' be this? [[spoiler:When he was still human, he groomed Eleven into getting her to remove the chip which restricted his powers, and returned the favor by putting her into uncomfortable positions. When he becomes the EldritchAbomination that he is in the present day, he, a man who’s presumably in his 30s at least, attacks teenagers in their minds, gets uncomfortably close to them, and slowly kills them by contorting their bodies into unnatural shapes.]]
* ''Everyone'' on ''Series/WelcomeToPoohCorner''. The unsettling designs of the costumes would tip just about anyone off, but what ''really'' gives them this reputation is the episode [[https://youtu.be/fDE-IWxU2-A Too Smart For Strangers,]] which is a PSA episode about [[TooSmartForStrangers the dangers of letting strangers take advantage of you.]] The special goes horrifyingly in detail, even coming close to mentioning molestation by name. The ironic thing is, in trying to teach people to ''not'' be molested by others, ''they'' come across as molesters themselves.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Mythology and Religion]]
* The whole idea of SantaClaus "seeing you when you're sleeping" and "knowing when you're awake"... Well... someone had to feel violated, or at the very least, creeped out, by that whole idea. Which leads to the old joke: "Why is Santa Claus so jolly? Because he knows where all the naughty girls live."
** Well, there's the fact that he likes to have little kids sit in his lap while holding them close, and there's no shortage of reports of pedophile Santas or Easter Bunnies.
*** "'[[http://snltranscripts.jt.org/87/87fchurchchat.phtml Dear]] [[Series/SaturdayNightLive Church Lady]]: I am shocked at the number of people who bring their children to total strangers in Santa suits, and allow them to hold their young ones firmly on their pelvic regions, offer them candy and whisper, "Don't be afraid to tell me what you ''really'' want!" What causes this mass hysteria?' Signed, Elaine."
** Saint Nicholas, the "template" on which SantaClaus was based, gets this a lot as well. He's "comes for every child" and before the 1980s, it was a common Aesop that "naughty kids" would be [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Nicholas#The_Netherlands.2C_Belgium.2C_and_Lower_Rhineland_.28Germany.29 taken by him as punishment.]]
** Hell, even the friggin [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/easter-fun.jpg Easter Bunny]] gets this treatment.
** [[TheKrampus Krampus]], a.k.a Beksnickel or the Christmas Devil. An infamous Christmas character back in the 19th century who is starting to get a resurgence in the internet age for his sheer creepiness. Back in the day, most families were too poor to afford presents for their children. Since it wasn't feasible for parents to bribe children with presents for good behavior, people came up with this [[ScareEmStraight terrifying alternative]]. They told stories of Krampus, an overly hairy goat-man with fangs and a long tongue, who would arrive a day before Santa, lure naughty children to him with a trail of food, stuff them into a large basket on his back, and take them away. [[http://krampus.com/krampus-gallery.php Prepare to be disturbed.]]
* Myth/ClassicalMythology:
** Zeus, probably the UrExample, is particularly remembered these days for banging every woman he comes across.
** Worse than Zeus was [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priapus Priapus,]] whose two defining traits are his [[GagPenis permanent erection]] and his insatiable lust. Signs bordering the lands he protected warned trespassers in vulgar terms not that he would kill them, but that he would ''rape'' them. That's not memetic, though. That's actual canon with him.
* [[Myth/NorseMythology Loki.]] He'll/[[GenderBender She'll]] swing with anyone. ''[[MisterSeahorse Anyone]]'' [[NakedPeopleAreFunny at]] [[LovableSexManiac all.]]
* Most post-medieval depictions of demons. That their modern visage was inspired by pagan fertility gods and by the Greek satyrs does not help at all.
* The demon Moloch. In pop culture, he shows up in an [[Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS1E8IRobotYouJane episode]] of ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'' after his book is scanned into a computer, attempting to seduce [[TheSmartGuy Willow]] ''ala''-Internet predator, and an {{Expy}} of his appears in an [[Recap/TeenTitansS3E6Spellbound episode]] of ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans'', where he attempts to seduce [[TheSnarkKnight Raven]]. Both times, he claims to be a teenager named Malcolm, and preys on the girl's lack of friends, alienating her even further. From what secondhand mythologies say about his mythos, the seduction of young girls was his ''modus operandi''.
* Not even UsefulNotes/{{Jesus}} is safe from this. [[PedophilePriest Pedophile Priests]] aside, there is Matthew 19:14 "Suffer the little children to come unto me," with some translations having "Suffer the little children to come ''under'' me." There is also the popular song "Jesus Loves the Little Children."

[[folder:Professional Wrestling]]
* Wrestling/RandySavage became this by the FanDumb thanks to a certain IWC {{urban legend|s}} that allegedly involved a then-18-year old Wrestling/StephanieMcMahon, and whether it was rape or consensual is up for debate. The IWC would claim that this is why Savage was [[{{Unperson}} apparently blacklisted from the]] Wrestling/{{WWE}}, despite the fact that not only was he interviewed in the inaugural issue of ''[=WWE SmackDown!=]'' magazine in 2003, but he also had a DVD set dedicated to him released in 2009.
-->'''Randy Savage:''' ...and uh, Wrestling/TripleH, you already know that I'm gonna bitch-slap ya, and take your girl, Stephanie [=McMahon=]!
* Wrestling/RickRude: He'll steal your girl, break her heart and leave you the fool. All the girls go crazy for the ravishing Rude!
* If Wrestling/TheIronSheik hates you, he will put you in the Camel Clutch, break your back, fuck you in the ass, and make you humble!
* The Wrestling/UltimateWarrior ''[[http://www.i-mockery.com/minimocks/warrior-xmas raped Santa Claus.]]'' Such is the power of his [[PerfectlyCromulentWord Destrucity]].
* Wrestling/{{Edge|Wrestler}} mentioned in his autobiography, ''Adam Copeland on Edge'', that [[Wrestling/JohnBradshawLayfield Bradshaw]] soaped his ass in a shower. The FanDumb picked up on this and implicated that Bradshaw might have raped some wrestlers.
** Wrestling/{{Edge|Wrestler}} will steal your girlfriend. You can't stop it, you can't do anything about it, and she '''will''' leave you for him. Just don't even fight it.
* Wrestling/{{Goldust}}. ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y4QrRtB9Q0 Goldust.]]'' The same can be said for [[Wrestling/CodyRhodes his brother's]] alter ego Stardust.
* Wrestling/RandyOrton: Has developed a reputation in the IWC message boards in that, when in the ring or anywhere near him, one better have their asses secured. The way he interacts with his opponents just encourages it.
* Wrestling/RingOfHonor founder Rob Feinstein became one after he was [[GetOut exiled]] from his own promotion during a scandal involving him impersonating a Wrestling/ProWrestlingGuerilla wrestler to deceive what he thought to be a fourteen year old boy.
* Jon Heidenreich thanks to the segment known as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEK80zqUXWQ "Heidenrape."]] He abducted Wrestling/MichaelCole and took him to some obscure part of the arena (presumably not the locker room since no one else was visible) shoved Cole face first into a wall and forcibly rammed him from behind while reading poetry. Cole's frightened facial expressions didn't help matters.
* Many a gif has been made about Wrestling/{{Layla}} apparently [[http://i.imgur.com/CmJ7v.gif groping]] or cupping her opponents in the ring. When she was a in Wrestling/LayCool she also would sometimes slap the bodyscissors on an opponent, and make it look like she was dry humping them. She also caused a WardrobeMalfunction to Wrestling/RosaMendes, exposing her ass on TV.
* Wrestling/JerryLawler due to his DirtyOldMan character, along with the fact that he was once accused of rape in the 1990s (the girl admitted to lying, but Wrestling/{{ECW}} mocked him for it for years).
* Wrestling/{{Ryback}} is this thanks to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sYLTxZHRfQ a segment]] where he was harassing a guy in the shower. No, that isn't what it sounds like. He just made the guy soak his bag with the shower head.
* Wrestling/RheaRipley has a habit of pinning female wrestlers in a manner that [[https://preview.redd.it/cft22v9pe7n81.jpg?width=640&crop=smart&auto=webp&s=3bede5ec8496533ae93319716795343a4c4e829d resembles the missionary position.]] There was also the matter of Dominik Mysterio's recruitment to the Judgment Day, which involved Rhea putting him into a variant of the [[MurderousThighs rear triangle choke]] and telling him she's his papi.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Tabletop Games]]
* ''TabletopGame/{{Warhammer 40000}}''
** Lucius the Eternal is jokingly considered the ultimate rapist by the fandom. Although he's actually a masochistic swordsman, the fact that he serves Slaanesh sort of turns him into this trope. He will penetrate the rear armour of anything with his [[strike:Rod]] Lash of Torment. OH YEAH!!
** On the subject of Slaanesh, Daemonettes have been depicted as raping (or being raped by) almost everyone in the setting at least once. Being daemonic servants of the literal god of perversion and depravity doesn't hurt.
** [[AmazonBrigade The Sisters of Battle]] are [[PedophilePriest pedophiles]] thanks to Website/FourChan's TabletopGames section.
** Any and all Dark Eldar are subject to this treatment, and although they ''are'' known to rape on occasion they much prefer to torture their victim to death, resurrect them, torture them again and then eat their souls (metaphorically, as they use their painful deaths to stave off the fact that Slaanesh has a claim to all Eldar souls while normal Eldar just use soulstones). However, since torture is basically sex for them...
** Slaanesh him/herself is usually portrayed this way by Website/FourChan, usually being depicted dressed like [[Film/TheRockyHorrorPictureShow Dr. Frank-N-Furter]] and deliberately trying to get anybody entering his/her domain to become slaves to him/her, and [[http://1d4chan.org/images/7/7a/Dranon5.jpg gets a massive turn-on when asked to go fuck him/herself with a chainsword.]]
* Folca (a minor [[DemonLordsAndArchdevils daemonic harbinger]] from ''TabletopGame/{{Pathfinder}}'') has dominion over "abduction, strangers, and sweets," and his favorite weapon is the net. Certain dark corners of the fandom consider him Golarion's Pedobear.
* In ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'', the number of part-dragon races and monsters has led to the fandom thinking that dragons are perverts that will screw anything.
** The HornyBard is an archetype largely born from the stereotype that Bards are travelling lotharios out to screw everything. Naturally, that includes dragons.
** Orcs and Goblins, due to their historic characterisation of being largely tribes of raiders who RapePillageAndBurn any town unlucky enough to cross them, which sometimes gets fetishised into focusing on just the first part. Somewhat justified in Orc cases by the existence of Half-Orcs being formerly a core player race, indicating that this happened so much there was an entire race of people born from it.
* ''TabletopGame/MagicTheGathering'': [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Olivia Voldaren]] was already somewhat portrayed as this during her introduction, mainly because of the [[OffModel infamous mistake at her art that portrayed her floating happily above her guests with a phantom "third knee"...]] [[GagPenis right at her crotch's level,]] which gave the impession that Olivia was indeed [[OrAreYouJustHappytoSeeMe VERY happy to see her guests]], and it didn't get any better after she attempted to charm Sorin Markov's 7000 year old grandfather Edgar into marrying her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Theatre]]
* The Wolf in ''Theatre/IntoTheWoods''. There are several reasons for this; the fact that he seems much older than Little Red Riding Hood (due to the actor playing him), the weird "walking in place" thing he does on stage, him singing a song about consuming Red and one other thing... [[{{Squick}} HIS FURRY PENIS IS VISIBLE DURING THE ENTIRE SONG!]]
** The original fairy tale had a distinct sexual vibe to it; the wolf was in many ways a sexual predator.
* Inverted with Florinda in ''Theatre/TheRover''. Almost every male character tries to rape her at some point, although most of them didn't know it was her at the time, so they're EasilyForgiven. They only thought they were raping a peasant girl, so that's okay.
* ''Theatre/SweeneyToddTheDemonBarberOfFleetStreet'': Beadle Bamford. Granted, he does spend most of his stage/screentime with canon rapist Judge Turpin. Also, he's especially creepy in [[Film/SweeneyToddTheDemonBarberOfFleetStreet the movie]] (being played by Creator/TimothySpall does him no favors). Then there's his cane, which he can make longer or shorter because it folds up. Ew... (And Turpin is, in some circles, a memetic Anthony-rapist. Also [[HoYay creepily movie-canon]].) Turpin basically calls Anthony a slut when he first meets him. Being a sailor, he ReallyGetsAround. This scene also has a pretty heavy Turpin-creeping-on-the-physically-small-longhaired-pretty-Anthony vibe, at least in the film. Showing a victim porn (which is basically what he's doing) is a tactic of real life molesters. Not to mention his disturbingly excited look when he watches [[spoiler:Turpin rape Lucy Barker]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Toys]]
* Mr. Bucket wants [[DoubleEntendre you to put balls in his mouth]].
* See the ''Franchise/ToyStory'' [[MemeticMolester/AnimatedFilms example]] for the creepy Woody action figure. It was re-released without the offending face, but apparently there are plans to release it with the face ''again'' as of 2013....
* The Elf on the Shelf, with his creepy stare, [[ParanoiaFuel hides in peoples' houses and watches their children]].
* Amongst Mecha Musume figures, the [[Toys/FrameArmsGirls Materia Twins]] and [[Toys/BusouShinki Maryceles]] are infamous for being ''exactly'' the sorts that [[HenpeckedHusband bully their owners]] and getting handsy with anyone they beat in a duel.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Comics]]
* In-universe example: In ''Webcomic/GhastlysGhastlyComic'', there was a debate over whether it would be more frightening to be raped by Christopher Walken or John Malkovich, and how it might be possible to stop them.
* ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'':
** The {{fandom}} gave this treatment to [[spoiler:sober!Gamzee]]. The rapefics were already hitting the web just a few days after his FaceHeelTurn. More recently, he's also become something of a Memetic ''Molestee'', due to his genetic connections to even scarier people (see ''FanFic/{{Hivefled}}'') and [[spoiler:a canonical MindRape at Aranea's hands]].
** Doc Scratch seems to be going this way too, due to [[MistakenForPedophile his interactions with Rose and Jade]]. [[spoiler:The revelation that he is part [[DemonicDummy Cal]] probably helped...]] This has persisted even after the revelation that he is not anatomically correct. It then gets even worse in the 08/07/11 updates. Apparently [[spoiler:1. he's been keeping Aradia's ancestor the Handmaid locked up in his apartment, 2. she's lost her furniture privileges before, 3. she does '''not''' want to be there, 4. she's been raised by Doc Scratch her whole life]].
** Eridan also gets this treatment, due to in canon being a {{Jerkass}} who tries to get with anyone who'll take him with a massive EntitledToHaveYou complex, [[spoiler:not to mention that he [[IfICantHaveYou kills]] the girl who rejects him]] with his behavior in fanon often being upgraded to this trope. This later receives a FandomNod with his ancestor, Cronus, who takes the fanon portrayal of Eridan and runs with it, making Cronus an ''actual'' molester who actually hits on Eridan himself, even though Eridan is in fact [[ParentalIncest his genetic father]][[note]]possibly ''younger'' than him, due to very complicated mechanics involving ghost-imprint biology, alternate universes, and [[spoiler:ghosts not aging]][[/note]] -- though this has extremely {{Squick}}y connotations to humans, trolls actually have no incest taboo (due to BizarreAlienReproduction). Cronus is still creepy, though.
** To a much lesser extent than the above, Terezi also gets this treatment in some fanart due to her habit of [[SenseFreak licking things]], since after going blind she learned how to taste colors.
** The Condesce also gets this treatment, possibly for kidnapping Roxy.
** Bro Strider as well, considering he abused Dave, forcing Dave to duel with him regularly, for the entirety of Dave's life. Also taking into account his puppet fetish and (like all of the other Guardians) expressionless (and indeed, near-completely-devoid-of-features) face.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* The imageboard [[{{Gamebooks}} Choose Your Own Adventure]] ''Roleplay/RubyQuest'' features the mad doctor Filbert, who has an official license to rape (implied in canon,[[note]]The rape part, that is, not the licence to do so.[[/note]] [[RuleThirtyFour exploited]] in fanart), and exploits this on absolutely everybody in the facility. Occasionally, his molestations even have [[IntimateHealing healing powers]].
** One of the other adventures run recently, [[http://tgchan.org/wiki/Knight_Blades Knight Blades,]] has Yellow Fang, second in command of the Fang mercenary group. It's pretty much implied he's raped all his compatriots at one point or another with a variation of the 'candy van' tactic. He may have passed suddenly, [[VideoGame/SoulSeries but his legacy lives on!]]
* [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/doc.png Dr. Octogonapus]] from the Lazer Collections.
** He later reveals to Randal that he's his son. And lordy. The lines he comes out with when he's trying to teach Randal a little bit about his new powers:
--->'''Dr. Octogonapus:''' Feel the power in you, Randal. Let it seep up your thighs and ''penetrate your body''! Let it PENETRATE YOU, Randal!\
'''Randal:''' ''(smashes a car)'' Feels good...\
'''Dr. Octogonapus:''' Now release! Let it build up, and RELEASE!\
(Randal groans and fires his lazer beam at the smashed car, completely destroying it.)\
'''Dr. Octogonapus:''' (grins) Come my son. You have ''much to learn''.
* ''Website/ScrewAttack'': Daily Destin. His transformers figures killed themselves because of what he did to them.
* This is just a quick warning: WebVideo/{{Ask That Guy|WithTheGlasses}} ''will'' make you his bitch. [[PerverseSexualLust Please]] [[BrainBleach react]] accordingly.
** What about Sage? He actually [[spoiler:[[CrossesTheLineTwice molested Ask That Guy]]]], and that should say quite a bit.
** And [[WebVideo/TheSpoonyExperiment Spoony]] ''will'' spoon you... [[BlackComedyRape whether you want it or not]].
** And [[http://www.spoonyexperiment.com/2009/12/12/spooning-with-spoony-episode-2/ now]] the Spoony One spooned the WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic (and Angry Joe, and Bennett the Sage...) while wearing Ask That Guy's robe. The implications are interesting.
** [[BlatantLies We]] [[DistressedDude can't]] [[DudeShesLikeInAComa imagine why]], but in the fandom, WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick has a bit of a reputation for being the chloroforming queen.
** Inverted by WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic. Instead of molesting others, fandom has him getting raped by almost everyone. Depending on what you read, it's either seen as deserved, funny, hot, or creepy.
** Hyper Fangirl. While she's a happy OfficialCouple with Devil Boner, most men she wants don't want her back. She doesn't care.
* [[http://goldring.wikia.com/wiki/Rain_Silves Rain Silves]] will rape you, and you will like it.
* [[http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=dh6wtATgJRs Pedobear.]]
** [[Series/{{Dateline}} Chris Hansen]] wants you to have a seat over there... He's usually portrayed as a Memetic ''Anti''-Molester, but he's not immune to this portrayal...
* Stonewater from ''Webcomic/DominicDeegan'' will "save" you. Overlaps with NeverLiveItDown.
* Omega/O'Malley from ''WebAnimation/RedVsBlue''. Canon GrandTheftMe overlapping with his extremely aggressive/possessive nature makes him a prime candidate for this.
** By extension, [[spoiler:[[PowerCopying the Meta]], especially after acquiring Omega]].
*** Poor, poor Doc...
* [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/you-gonna-get-raped.jpg This]] fine fellow.
* Rosa Fiametta of ''Roleplay/SurvivalOfTheFittest'', along with being a LauncherOfAThousandShips, has become regarded as the memetic molester of V4.
** From [[SpinOff SOTF-TV]], don't accept any pills from Marvia Jones. Just... ''don't''.
* [[AxCrazy Evil Flippy]] from ''WebAnimation/HappyTreeFriends'' sometimes gets this treatment.
** Also, [[DiscoDan Disco Bear]]. Although [[VagueAge none of the characters are given ages]], it can be assumed that he is older than the more childish-acting Giggles and Petunia, but that doesn't stop him from hitting on them. Petunia even reacts negatively to his unwanted advances at one point...[[FurryReminder the same way any skunk would]].
* [[TokenEvilTeammate Tord]] from ''WebAnimation/{{Eddsworld}}'' is occasionally given this treatment by fans, with there being no shortage of [[SlashFic slash fics]] that feature him torturing or outright ''raping'' [[ButtMonkey Tom]].
* [[http://everything2.com/title/Touch+the+Puppy "Touch the Puppy"]]
* Thanks to [[http://twitter.com/Sonichu1 this RP account on Twitter,]] ''Webcomic/{{Sonichu}}'' has become a memetic rapist.
* Just another part of Franchise/{{the Slender Man|Mythos}}'s charm.
** Masky from ''WebVideo/MarbleHornets'' has also gotten this treatment, probably because he [[spoiler:''sneaks into Jay's room and watches him sleep'']].
* ''WebVideo/DragonBallZAbridged'' managed to turn Vegeta, of all people, into one of these.
-->'''Gohan''': So... can I... help you?\
'''Vegeta''': No. ''(strokes Gohan's head)'' But maybe ''I'' can help ''you''. ''(rapeface)''\
'''Gohan''': Uh... I need an adult.\
'''Vegeta''': I am an adult.
** Mr. Popo also. Lampshaded in the ''Anime/DragonBallZKai''-style episode.
--> "I'm terrifying and a potential rapist. But I'll never say it flat-out."
* Das Bo Schitt, maker of the ''WebAnimation/TheGmodIdiotBox,'' sometimes has [[Franchise/{{Digimon}} Renamon]] coming off as one of these, thanks in part to, among other things, Renamon assaulting [[VideoGame/Left4Dead2 Ellis]], Renamon humping #1's head, Renamon humping ''VideoGame/DukeNukem's'' head...
* [[http://www.cracked.com/article_17216_the-5-most-popular-safety-laws-that-dont-work_p2.html "Man, this dude was just some Photos.com model, and we went and made him a pedophile."]]
* The "WebVideo/BarneyBunch" fad on Platform/{{Newgrounds}} and later Platform/YouTube centers around turning an entire ensemble of characters into this trope.
* [[http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/cockmongler Cockmongler]]
* [[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Hugh Neutron]] became one, mostly because of the [[FountainOfMemes memetic]] short film ''WebAnimation/JimmyNeutronHappyFamilyHappyHour''.
* Pencil Face from [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MjTb5A68VA the eponymous horror short]]. Just... its face. And the premise is rather disturbing, too, if you look at it from [[EveryoneIsJesusInPurgatory a certain angle]]: [[spoiler:a suspicious stranger lures the girl with gifts and then gets her into trouble]]. Add the imagery of a long, oblongated pencil and a hole and [[PaedoHunt you get what]]...?
* [=YouTuber=] LetsPlay/BlastphamousHD is often seen as a either a pedophile or a DepravedBisexual, especially due to the many fan-made "Try Not to Laugh" challenges of him which utilize ManipulativeEditing to make it sound like he's talking about heinous acts. The fact that he makes a lot of sexual innuendos and rape jokes, told a story about him being accused of having child porn on his computer [[note]]It was a virus disguised as an FBI Warning[[/note]], and told another story where he threatened to rape a man who kept hitting on his girlfriend while suggestively touching him doesn't help fend off this reputation.
* Website/SFDebris ends up declaring Anders of ''VideoGame/DragonAgeII'' one of these; among other things, he comes on to the player without them instigating it, refuses to take it graciously if you turn him down -- opting instead to mope and complain about it at length, and asks Aveline a number of shockingly inappropriate questions about her husband's love life. [[DudeNotFunny Said husband died earlier in the game]], by the way. On top of declaring him a pervert, Chuck angrily declares that Creator/BioWare's attempt at a progressive bisexual character has resulted on the player being sent into the Deep Roads in the company of Harvey Weinstein.
* ''Website/SCPFoundation''
** SCP-106, mostly due to him looking like a typical DirtyOldMan.
** SCP-953, considering she [[spoiler:raped the corpse of a Foundation agent's fiancée while said agent was watching]].
*** On a related note, it's implied in 682's termination-attempt logs that 106 once tried to rape 953 in a MeleeATrois with 682 (breaking their MexicanStandoff in the process). Understandably, neither 682 nor 953 want to talk about it.
** SCP-2521, based largely on the image of it wrapping a D-class in its tentacles and abducting them with a heart on its "face."
** [[https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/dr-bright-s-personnel-file Dr Bright]] has been subject to this, ranging from vandal edits to the list of [[https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/the-things-dr-bright-is-not-allowed-to-do-at-the-foundation The Things Dr Bright Is Not Allowed To Do At The Foundation]] to [[https://youtube.com/watch?v=X2fqb_zixfM fan portrayals]] taking his [[LoveableSexManiac comedic depravity]] to its [[ExtremeOmnisexual logical extreme]].
