''every time''\
''I drink beer?"''
-->-- '''Karen Ellis''', "[[http://planetkaren.girl-wonder.org/ Planet Karen]]"

The ditzy, teasing, often inebriated party girl. She's usually a {{Pretty Freeloader|s}} without a care in the world and avoids some of the more inane plotlines of a story. This is only because she's somewhat capable but takes in the chaos that comes. Alternately, she actually ''causes'' those plotlines, as the Hard Drinking Party Girl is frequently TheTrickster as well.

If she's anywhere near legal age, she'll also drink heavily. At her peak, she may be seen swinging from a chandelier.

She's almost never really a strong contender in a LoveDodecahedron if she is even interested in the lead at all. Characters might make mention of her being a casual dater, but since [[EconomyCast that might inflate the cast]] with [[ImprobablyFemaleCast unneeded extra male characters]] this will be usually be implied rather than shown. She'll channel her perverted behaviour into playful teasing of the lead male (if there is one), or even the other female characters! With all of this said, the Hard-Drinking Party Girl can sometimes act as a TricksterMentor of sorts to the lead (or to both members of the OfficialCouple). In {{Anime}} and {{Manga}}, this character often speaks in a rougher accent than the others. Is often prone to a {{Beergasm}}. In some {{seinen}}, this is occasionally the ''main'' character who the audience (presumably) lusts over.

Loves to go on pub crawls with TheLadette. Most of these characters tend to be the MsFanservice of the show, but there have been some exceptions. May [[CerebusSyndrome grow up]] to become LadyDrunk. Might have been a BigEater when young. Contrast DrunkOnMilk, when the drink of choice is non-alcoholic. Lord help her, though, if she ever [[OneDrinkWillKillTheBaby becomes pregnant]]! More seriously, she's also at a pretty good risk of eventually becoming TheAlcoholic or a LadyDrunk.

Not unlikely to be the LifeOfTheParty. The stereotypical male {{Fratbro}} is the approximate SpearCounterpart, although almost invariably presented as [[TheUnfairSex much less attractive]] for [[MostWritersAreMale some reason]]. It also happens that a CampGay guy is a more literal RareMaleExample of this trope -- sometimes to the point of being mistaken for a [[AttractiveBentGender regular hot party girl]] when he inevitably [[{{Crossdresser}} crossdresses]] on a night out, in which case HilarityEnsues.

Because MostWritersAreMale, and GirlOnGirlIsHot, the Hard Drinking Party Girl is often liable to find herself in a case of AlcoholInducedBisexuality.

!!Examples:

[[foldercontrol]]

[[folder:Anime & Manga]]
* ''Manga/The100GirlfriendsWhoReallyReallyReallyReallyReallyLoveYou'': Momoha is always drinking or drunk thanks to her love of vice. Her family owns a brewery so she can get free booze whenever she wants. She also drinks a special booze made from flowers, which is why she doesn't have the odor alcoholics usually have.
* Urd and Sayako from ''Manga/AhMyGoddess''. In Urd's case, it's somewhat justified as it's her TrademarkFavoriteFood, so she can restore her powers this way.
* Tina from ''Manga/AiYoriAoshi'', although she would [[FanPreferredCouple probably be]] the [[UnluckyChildhoodFriend second-strongest]] contender for Kaoru's affection. Taeko is also a pretty good fit -- klutzy, clueless, and (at least in the ''Enishi'' season) a heavier drinker than Tina.
* Yukari Tanizaki from ''Manga/AzumangaDaioh'' loves to party, but it's actually ''Nyamo'' who freaks the girls out with [[TheTalk a drunken talk about sex]] during one of the summer episodes.
* Shizuku Ninomiya from ''Literature/BeyondTheBoundary''. In one episode she quickly chugs down a whole beer in literally 2 or 3 seconds, has a {{Beergasm}}, then immediately orders another beer.
* Vanessa Enoteca from ''Manga/BlackClover''. She's often seen around a bottle of booze, whilst making her interest in men very clear. She also frequently complains of hangovers and begins puking within panels of her introduction. She's even referred to by the townsfolk as the "Booze-Loving Witch" (or in the dub, the "Bottomless Booze Pit").
* Eda of ''Manga/BlackLagoon'' fulfills this...despite being a ''[[NaughtyNuns nun]]''. Oh, and a side of SociopathicHero (heroic-ish... yeah, it's [[SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism that kind]] [[BlackAndGreyMorality of series]].) Revy fits the bill as well. [[spoiler:Then it's subverted: Eda is actually an ActionGirl from the CIA, and it's hinted that a good part of her behavior is actually a facade.]]
* ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' Rangiku Matsumoto and Kiyone Kotetsu. They've both even been drunk at work.
* ''Manga/CallOfTheNight'': Nazuna is easily the heaviest drinker of the main cast, and it takes a lot of beer before she passes out.
* ''Anime/CarriedByTheWindTsukikageRan'': The titular character herself loves Sake and lots of it. To the point where she'd rather spend her limited money on sake over ''food'', and watering down sake in front of her is enough to provoke a fight from her. It's questionable at times whether Ran is this trope or a full-blown alcoholic. Her platonic travelling partner Meow is quite the drinker as well.
* April in ''Anime/DarkerThanBlack''. She once drank the entire staff of a bar under the table. It helps that it's the [[ConditionalPowers remuneration]] for her powers, but she doesn't exactly mind.
* Hina from ''Manga/DomesticGirlfriend'' loves beer and frequently ends her nights passed out on the couch. She eventually tries cutting back but it doesn't stick.
* Eriko from ''Literature/DragonCrisis''. In one episode, Ryuji even makes a comment about how many liquor bottles she has in her room.
* ''Manga/FairyTail'':
** Cana ([[AccidentalPun no pun intended]]) is an {{exaggerated|trope}} version: her profile states that she's responsible for 30% of the consumption of alcoholic drinks in the titular guild, and started drinking ''twice as much'' ever since her bottle buddy Macao got a new girlfriend. When Bacchus beats Cana in a drinking contest, her guildmates can hardly believe it. She's shown drinking booze ''by the barrel'' a few days later.
** Chapter 338 portrays [[spoiler:''[[NotSoStoic Kagura]]'']] as this.
* In episode 27 of ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist: Brotherhood'', ''[[MiniatureSeniorCitizens Pinako]]'' of all people appears to have been this.
* Forte from ''Anime/GalaxyAngel'' arguably fits, although she's a very capable strategist and weapons expert, and in [[VideoGame/GalaxyAngel the games]] she's an available haremette.
* Major Motoko Kusanagi in the original manga version of ''Franchise/GhostInTheShell'', though this was downplayed in the movies and TV series.
* Christina, Monica's mother in ''Anime/HeatGuyJ''. She never had much luck with men (who always tended to use her and then leave her), so she ended up in the bottle. Despite this, she and her daughter care deeply for each other (though Monica has to make all the money with her photography business). While she becomes used by another man early on, the plot gives her an honest change to turn around late in the series.
%%* Ruko from ''Literature/HarukaNogizakasSecret''. For those of you keeping score at home, that's the third character on this list voiced by Hitomi Nabatame.
%%* Tsugawa's wife in ''Manga/JapanInc''. Yes, their marriage is in trouble.
* A FlashForward chapter near the end of ''Manga/KaguyaSamaLoveIsWar'' reveals that [[spoiler:[[MoralGuardians Iino]]]] turns into one of these in college, to the point that the first thing she does when showing up to a small get together is order some sake for everyone despite already being drunk from anther party they just came from. Given how they acted the one time they accidentally got drunk during the series proper, it isn't that much of a surprise.
-->'''Hayasaka:''' Well, they do say that [[spoiler:the most studious kids]] always party the hardest once they start uni...
* Haruka Nishida from ''Manga/{{Kanamemo}}'', who's prone to both drinking and spontaneous groping when drunk.
* Mitsune Konno (predictably nicknamed "[[AsianFoxSpirit Kitsune]]") in ''Manga/LoveHina''. She's always up for some mischief and scheming, and in the manga she's seen hungover or drunk a few times. Toned way down in the anime.
* Mimi from ''Anime/{{Mnemosyne}}'', who is the protagonist's secretary. She even has a fondness for giving her boss [[Yurigenre Vodka kisses]]. That's right, ''vodka''.
* ''Manga/MidoriDays'': Though [[MinorLivingAlone Seiji lives on his own]], his big sister, Rin, is such a habitual drinker that she keeps the fridge at his house stocked with beer... and not much else. She also leaves a note which says, if he touches any of it, [[PlayedForLaughs she'll kill him.]]
* Sumeragi Lee Noriega in ''Anime/MobileSuitGundam00'', when she's not being a scarily hyper-competent military officer. Only a bit of a Misato {{expy}}. She even hands her two female BridgeBunnies, [[CoolBigSis Christina]] and [[EmotionlessGirl Feldt]], bottles of alcohol while they're working on ship systems checks in one episode.
* Minayo of ''Manga/MyBalls'' turns from timid shrinking violet to unstoppable nymphomaniac after drinking. Kouta refers to this as "Nympho mode" and at one point describes Nympho mode Minayo as being "sex incarnate". HilarityEnsues.
* [[CuteGhostGirl Kana]] from ''Manga/MyLovelyGhostKana'' certainly qualifies. Beer is one of the main things she first indicates she missed from being trapped in that apartment complex since dying. Once she has her hands on some, she's quite overexcited about how she missed it, and guzzles it down heavily. Her roommate/lover Daikichi drinks some, but not near as much.
* ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'': Misato acts like this in her off-hours (she has beer for ''breakfast'' instead of coffee, for one), though eventually it becomes clear that she's a barely functional alcoholic and uses her hard drinking to hide some serious emotional issues.
* Noa Izumi from ''Franchise/{{Patlabor}}'' is revealed to be one of those in the episode where everyone (well, everyone but Goto) goes out and gets drunk. She even out-drinks the ''other'' Hard Drinking Party Girl in the group, [[ButNotTooForeign Kanuka Clancy]]. Noa [[NeverGetsDrunk comes to it naturally]], though; her family owns a liquor store back on Hokaido, as Noa herself explains before the drinking battle with Kanuka.
* ''Anime/PhantomQuestCorp'''s Ayaka Kisaragi is known for getting plastered and punching out cab drivers. It's also {{lampshade|Hanging}}d in the show's opening, which ends with Karino carrying her home drunk and, in Incident File: 01, Bosco (a vampire) even [[NoJustNoReaction refused to take her blood]], [[Funny/PhantomQuestCorp due to the alcohol content!]]
* Yokoshima from ''Manga/SeitokaiYakuindomo'' has this among her many, ''many'' vices. A notable example is her getting drunk on a school trip where she was the only chaperone, forcing her students to stay at a hotel as she was in no condition to take them home.
* Kazehana from ''Manga/{{Sekirei}}''. Her idea of a good afternoon is sitting on the roof and drinking sake out of the bottle. She still manages to be uncannily shrewd and perceptive while sloshed and is one of the strongest Sekirei.
* In ''Manga/{{Suzuka}}'', this trope is both played straight (in the form of Yuuka Saotome) and subverted (in the form of Megumi Matsumoto). Yuuka is a pretty standard partyin' gal who tries to squeeze large amounts of money from the protagonist Yamato, while Megumi is an angry drunk who flashes her boobs at him because she's jealous about not getting enough attention from guys in general.
* Hanuki from ''Literature/TheTatamiGalaxy'', who is cognizant of how she becomes flirtatious when drunk, and so tries to be careful about who she drinks with.
* Yuma Tonami of ''VisualNovel/ToHeart2'', though she's a weak drinker (she got drunk on half-sweet sake in the ''Another Days'' OVA). Also voiced by [[PigeonholedVoiceActor Hitomi Nabatame]].
* Milly Thompson from ''Manga/{{Trigun}}''. Partner Meryl usually has to caution people about giving her too much, as her behavior tends to turn erratic (though her wilder moments are never shown to the audience). Later, when she passes out, [[TalkingInYourSleep she may start babbling]].
* ''Anime/VariableGeo'': Downing brewskies is [[AmbiguouslyBrown Jun's]] favorite pastime when she isn't biking, or squaring off in the ring. In the scene where the girls are having lunch (episode 2), Jun didn't order any food. All she had was beer. Back-to-back.
* Masane Amaha from ''Anime/{{Witchblade}}'' is a semi-example of this trope. She does drink like a fish at times, but does seem to have this drop off to nil when the show drops off into utterly serious territory, but during the early half when it was true, she almost blew her own cover as the Witchblade bearer during one of these episodes. Thankfully, the artifact didn't activate and IntrepidReporter Yuusuke Tozawa was willing to cover for her. Oh, and she passed out.
* Ichihara Yuuko in ''Manga/XxxHolic'' loves her sake, big time, and even tries to come up with excuses to drink at all hours of the day. Unless she's on the job as the shopkeeper of the Wish Shop, that is, then she's freakishly cryptic and mysterious.
%%* Sumire from ''Manga/YoureMyPet'' gets cheerfully drunk fairly regularly.
* Atsuko Urameshi (Yusuke's mom) from ''Manga/YuYuHakusho''. She often draws others in.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Comic Books]]
* Ninjette from ''ComicBook/{{Empowered}}'', and she's also a DrunkenMaster... Scary combination. Don't ever call her a drunk, though. She does ''not'' want to be [[DarkAndTroubledPast compared with her father]].
* Tara Chase from ''ComicBook/QueenAndCountry'', and she has been known to go a little AxeCrazy on her enemies. ''(shudder)''
* Kit Ryan, Constantine's girlfriend during Ennis's run on ''ComicBook/{{Hellblazer}}''. She even managed to outdrink him.
* Crazy Shy Lolita Canary of Franchise/TheDCU's ComicBook/SuperYoungTeam. She's an alcoholic, but since she's the size of a small bird she can get smashed on a thimble full of vanilla extract.
* Linsee from ''ComicBook/PocketGod'' likes to get drunk on fermented coconut milk. She [[CharacterDevelopment quits drinking]] after [[spoiler:she thinks she permanently killed Teela]], but old habits die hard when she gets a taste for wine.
* It would be quicker and easier to mention the female characters in ''ComicBook/RatQueens'' who ''aren't'' this. All four of the main characters are hard-drinking party girls, with Hannah in particular loving her booze. Violet breaks with dwarven tradition in that she prefers wine to beer, but otherwise is completely in line with the rest of her comrades.
* ''ComicBook/AstroCity'':
** Astra Furst becomes this in her late teens, at least if ''Inside Scoop'' magazine is to be believed.
--->"A hard-partying bad girl since her teen years, she's been linked to everyone from Shia [=LaBeouf=] to Prince Harry!"
** WordOfGod is that the Silver Adept is this, to put a twist on the usual "stodgy old mage" archetype. She sleeps in late, dresses in tank tops and form-fitting pants, and even sports a mystical [[EmbarrassingTattoo tramp stamp.]] Presumably she uses her powers to sober up when needed.
* ''ComicBook/LoriLovecraft'': Actress Danke Schoen was this back in the 60s, with her parties being legendary even by Hollywood. As a CoolOldLady, she seems to have curtailed her drinking somewhat but still likes to party hard, often veering into DirtyOldWoman territory.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Fan Works]]
* ''Manga/Evangelion303'': Misato -- unsurprisingly, given the original material -- and [[{{Tsundere}} Asuka]] drink a lot in parties. [[FieryRedhead Asuka]], though, does not follow all the usually associated traits, since [[NeverGetsDrunk hardly gets drunk]] and she is [[TheHero Shinji Ikari]]'s partner.
* In ''Webcomic/JupiterMen'', Binny has no interest in being Nathan's legal guardian aside from the opportunity to live it up in a penthouse. The minute she gets bribed to stay out of his life, she starts curling up on the couch eating chips while complaining that there are no drinks in the fridge that aren't "child-friendly".
* In ''Webcomic/KillLaKillAU'', we find out Ragyo was this in college, being known as "Reyka Ragyo", and met Soichiro through this when she was at a party. Her secretary Rei, however, is one and, as we can tell, she is rarely sober, which gets her in trouble, especially when she skips out on AA (which she was drunk enough to miss).
* ''[[Fanfic/HotspringSouls Slice of Souls!]]'': Ciaran used to be one. ''At age fifteen.''
* ''WebVideo/FixingRWBY'' reimagines Yang as this. It borders [[TheAlcoholic alcoholism]] and is revealed to be a way of dealing with her abandonment issues over her mother.
* ''Fanfic/GuysBeingDudes'': Candela brought a keg to Go Fest 2020, against Pokemon League regulations and her dialogue about it with Blanche suggests she's done similar things before. Based on the notice directed towards her in Blanche's car, she drinks regularly.
* ''Fanfic/VoyagesOfTheWildSeaHorse'': Lilith is hands down the one member of the Kamikaze Pirates who loves her liquor. The martial artists largely avoid the stuff, Miriam, Harumi and Penelope will indulge as a treat, but Lilith openly states that one of her reasons for wandering the world is to taste exotic new liquors, alongside other [[TheHedonist fun stuff]] like [[BigEater great food]] and plenty of sexy bedmates.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Films -- Live-Action]]
* Holly Golightly from ''Film/BreakfastAtTiffanys'' might very well be the TropeCodifier.
* Barb in ''Film/BlackChristmas1974''. She nearly always has a beer in her hand and is a happy drunk.
* ''Film/FinalDestination4'': Subtly implied with Janet. Janet isn't shown drinking or partying in the film itself, but Lori has a picture of herself and Janet on vacation, and Janet is wearing a very large number of fiesta beads. Said beads are sometimes given out to girls on spring break when they drunkenly flash guys.
* Marian Ravenwood from ''Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk'', consistently winning drinking contests with rowdy Tibetans. Though the story implies (and the novelization confirmed) that she's primarily interested in the money she makes winning drinking contests.
* Creator/ZooeyDeschanel's character Kit in ''Film/FailureToLaunch'' seems a paradigmatic example of this trope. As well as being the sort of cuckoo-lander pixie which Deschanel plays so well she's clearly shown to be a bit of a lush, being introduced in a scene declaring that 'champagne Thursday' has extended to include Fridays.
* Paula from ''[[Film/{{Neighbors2014}} Neighbors]]''.
* Caroline from ''Film/NickAndNorahsInfinitePlaylist'' fits this down to a T, so much so that she has favorite spots for throwing up throughout New York. Her drunken antics not only play a role as a plot engine but also used to [[CharactersAsDevice characterize]] her best friend Norah, who takes care of her, as nice, reliable and selfless.
* Clementine and Mary from ''Film/EternalSunshineOfTheSpotlessMind'' often get "amiably drunk" (the latter even smokes pot). Clem and Joel's breakup is prompted by her driving home from a party drunk and damaging Joel's car.
* Florence in ''Film/MysteryOfTheWaxMuseum''. She spends much of the movie half-sloshed, helps herself to multiple bottles from a bootlegger's stash (in front of the police), and her stated goal is to marry a millionaire. None of this stops her from doing her job as an IntrepidReporter.
* Ashley in ''Film/LizzieBordensRevenge''. She is keen to get everyone at the SlumberParty drunk, even though the sorority has placed them under an alcohol ban. She supplies the booze for the party, and keeps to trying to get everyone to loosen up. When she and Janice wind up consuming most of the alcohol by themselves, everyone comments that this is out of character for Janice, but nobody thinks its strange for Ashley.
* Tree starts out like this in ''Film/HappyDeathDay''. [[CharacterDevelopment She settles down a bit]] over the course of the movie as she faces her issues over her mother's death.
* ''Film/TrapForCinderella'': This seems to have been Micky's life prior to the accident. Alcohol and pills have left her life before the accident a blur.
* In ''Film/TheFleshAndTheFiends'', Jackson's girlfriend Mary Patterson finds life with the studious medical student boring, and frequently heads out in search of drinking and fun. Her drunken antics are the most frequent source of friction between the two of them.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Literature]]
* Komoe Tsukuyomi of ''Literature/ACertainMagicalIndex'' is this, along with being a chain-smoker whose apartment is littered with beer cans and cigarette butts. Even more hilariously, [[OlderThanTheyLook despite being the legal age to do these activities she looks like a 10-year-old girl]].
* ''Literature/ACourtOfThornsAndRoses'': Mor is noted to be a frequenter of the bars in Velaris, and she enjoys dragging Cassian and Azriel to drinks with her.
* ''Literature/CrescentCity'': Bryce and Danika both love to drink, and if there's a drug out there, they've probably taken it.
* Nanny Ogg from ''Literature/{{Discworld}}'' entertains a pocket flask and has a fitting saying of the healthy benefits for every situation. She has her own still, which produces both particularly potent [[GargleBlaster scumble]] ("sui-cider") and a clear liquid that "wasn't exactly whisky, and wasn't exactly gin, but ''was'' exactly 90° proof".
%% ZCE * Literature/BerniceSummerfield from the ''Franchise/DoctorWho'' [[Franchise/DoctorWhoExpandedUniverse Expanded Universe]].
* Melissa Mao of ''Literature/FullMetalPanic'', but only [[BunnyEarsLawyer off the job]]. Applies the drinking heavily part of this trope with gusto, as she could probably pay for her HumongousMecha on the simple recycling profits of all the beer cans piled up in her off-duty hours. Her English voice actress in the anime adaptation also played ''[[Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion Misato]]''. In the OVA, she tricks Tessa into drinking one night, and the result is poor Tessa wandering around the base drunk, half-asleep, and [[{{Fanservice}} half-naked]].
%%* The ladies of ''Literature/GoldenTime'''s Tea Club. They're probably drinking Long Island Tea.
* Akane Asahina of ''Literature/{{Kanokon}}'' is a Hard Drinking Party Girl in training. When she drinks an alcoholic beverage that has LovePotion side-effects, she falls in love with ''the bottle''.
* Aqua from ''Literature/KonoSuba'' spends most of her money on expensive booze, and spends her nights drinking to the point she starts puking rainbows.
%%* Tamaki of ''Literature/{{Kurenai}}''. Makes you wonder what kind of effect she has had on Murasaki's littl
* Sergeant Hellian from the ''Literature/MalazanBookOfTheFallen'' is more or less continuously drunk but manages to be a [[DrunkenMaster bizarrely competent soldier]] and squad leader. She is clumsy and can't keep her two corporals apart, but leads her part of the Malazan invasion of the Empire of Lether from tavern to tavern, leaving behind severed heads and empty wine cellars. In fact, her squad is the most successful in co-opting all the local help needed.
* ''Literature/AConfederacyOfDunces'': Irene Reilly, mother of Ignatius J. Reilly, has a fondness for muscatel that leads her son to accuse her of being a habitual drunk. While she does in fact drink kind of heavily, it's not to the point of calling her an alcoholic, so she probably falls in this trope.
* Naga the Serpent from ''Literature/{{Slayers}}'' falls into this category, as well as being a [[BigEater big eater]]. The latter is normal in the Slayers universe, as casting spells burn calories, and Naga is a skilled sorceress. The former is also likely a form of [[DrowningMySorrows drowning her sorrows]] since [[spoiler:her sanity is fragile after watching her mother get assassinated as a child and then subsequently killing said assassin.]]
* Brett from ''Literature/TheSunAlsoRises''. Subverted, in that she's more of a StepfordSmiler than ''actually'' carefree and happy.
* Literature/ElsabethSoesten drinks, dances, and hooks up with traveling minstrels.
* Ryuuji's mother Yasuko from ''Literature/{{Toradora}}'' is cheerful, friendly, and often too hungover to be much use around the house. This is a JustifiedTrope since she works as a late-night bar hostess, and that requires her to drink regularly with her customers.
* Kate from ''Literature/TheMoviegoer'' is an aversion of this trope when she's finally introduced.
* ''Literature/VampireAcademy'':
** Rose Hathaway. Formerly, though she's not completely over this phase. As she describes herself: "I wanted to go to all the royal parties and wild drunken festivities like we'd done before."
** Lissa Dragomir. Formerly. She used to go to "all the royal parties and wild drunken festivities" before she and Rose escaped St. Vladimir's Academy. [[spoiler:In ''Blood Promise'', she returns to this type of behavior to a self-destructive degree, which is the result of Avery Lazar's influence on her]].
** Avery Lazar appeared to be this way, always ready to have a drink and seek out a party. [[spoiler:Until it's revealed she was just trying to get Lissa drunk so she could kill her and bond with her]].
* ''Literature/TheOtherKindofRoommate'' gives us Beth, who credits her artwork to the family tea-'quila' recipe. She has no trouble admitting this as her go-to inspiration.
* ''Literature/OnTheBeach'' has Moira, who verges on TheAlcoholic. It's her way of dealing with living JustBeforeTheEnd, as lethal radiation steadily progresses from the northern hemisphere (where there was a nuclear war) to her home area, Melbourne, Australia.
* The protagonist of ''Literature/OonaOutOfOrder'' makes random leaps through time on New Year's Eve when the clock strikes twelve. When she leaps to 1991 and her 27-year-old self life, she embraces a lifestyle of drugs, alcohol and clubbing. It starts losing its appeal, though.
* ''[[Literature/HonorHarrington Honorverse]]'':
** Sharon Justice likes alcohol enough that she has a medical implant feeding her anti-alcohol preventatives ... but not enough to keep her completely sober, because according to her drinking without a slight buzz isn't really drinking.
** Solarian Fleet Admiral Imogene Tsang overindulges while her fleet is waiting for the signal to join in the attack on Manticore, and has to take a hangover cure before heading to the bridge when that signal comes in.
* ''Literature/WhateleyUniverse'': The 'good-time Goodkinds' Gabriella and Trevi, cousins seen by the main part of the Goodkind family as disreputable and embarrassing, appear to be this. They have been described as a cross between their cousin Creator/ParisHilton and actress Creator/LindsayLohan, and the one in-story appearance of Gabriella seems to bear this out (as she was seen staggering out of the bedroom of Jenna Preswick-Walcutt - who is apparently also this type - after a mid-afternoon tryst, with them both stoned out of their minds).
** In the Gen 2 stories, InsufferableGenius [[GenderBender Jobe Anne Wilkins]] of all people seems to have developed this sort of reputation, as have the [[OurElvesAreDifferent Drow]] she creates in general.
* Olivia Vandergriff from ''Literature/TheOverstory'', before her NearDeathExperience drastically changes her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Live-Action TV]]
* ''Series/AbsolutelyFabulous'' is a sitcom about what happens when two such characters who are best friends (Edina "Eddie" Monsoon, and Patsy Stone) age into their late 30s/early 40s (or [[YoungerThanTheyLook potentially older]] for Patsy) and are just as irresponsible despite having jobs and lives (and it Eddie's case, children).
* In ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'', [[Creator/ElizaDushku Faith]] started out as as this, before her stint as a DarkActionGirl. (While she was hardly ever shown actually drinking, that probably has more to do with the show's MoralGuardians than with Faith herself; a sixteen-year-old getting hammered wouldn't have gone over well, but her behavior in the seventh season strongly suggests that she's used to hard drinking.) She eventually matured into a full-blown [[TheLadette Ladette]]. Notable is how when out with the potentials she is legal age by several years, and when one of them appears to be drinking alcohol Faith steers her away from it.
* Fran from ''Series/BlackBooks'', whose natural state is with a bottle of wine in one hand and a cig in the other, cackling at Bernard and Manny.
* ''Series/GameOfThrones'': Missandei is not one ''yet'' anyway. She never drank before, so when Tyrion introduces her to wine she can't seem to stop, sipping away every few seconds and getting giddier by the minute. It's unknown whether she'll become, say, ''Tyrion's drinking buddy'' as it happened near the end of Season 6.
* ''Series/GossipGirl'': Serena van der Woodsen is a carefree party girl who often - and mostly without intending to do so - causes chaos and drama wherever she roams. She's also a textbook example of a GoodBadGirl.
* Laurie from ''Series/{{Cougartown}}''. ''All'' the women drink on that show, but Laurie is the youngest and least responsible, so she's the one that fits the type best.
* ''Series/{{Misfits}}''.
** Alisha. She's a DrunkDriver too, and getting lumbered with a police curfew and an electronic ankle tag doesn't stop her from partying.
** Even more so with Abby, to the point where being able to down practically a whole bottle of vodka and not even get fazed might be her power. Abby also fits in with the happy-go-lucky personality of this trope. Note, she did all of this heavy drinking ''after she was found passed out in the hallway.''
* Though Brandy from ''Series/NoahsArc'' is typically a LadyDrunk, in the movie once she gets around Alex and has a few drinks she becomes far more bubbly and playful.
* Rachel Lindquist (Creator/MonicaKeena) in ''Series/{{Undeclared}}'' is a happy drunk.
* Creator/FoodNetwork host Sandra Lee always finishes her [[CordonBleughChef stomach-turning]] show with a cocktail recipe.
* ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'' recurring character "Drunk Girl" from 2001-03. Eyes squinted shut, slurs words, often ends her sketch by flashing her boobs. This trope was revisited several years later with "The Girl You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party," who's drunk and probably high on other substances as well, and goes on rambling tangents about conspiracy theories and nonsequitors.
* Chloe from ''Series/DontTrustTheBInApartment23'' is an ''echt''-example, down to being a major [[TheTrickster trickster]].
* In the unaired pilot for ''Series/TheBigBangTheory'' the prototype for Penny, Katie, was depicted as this. In that one episode she was shown running out to parties in the middle of the night and coming back completely hammered. The idea was that she would get more stability after hanging out with the guys. Penny in the series proper has a little bit of this but it is done in a way to simply contrast the guys.
* ''Series/HowIMetYourMother'' refers to these women as "Woo Girls" for their tendency to go "Wooo!" a lot. Robin briefly joins their ranks until she realizes that the reason they party so hard all the time is that their lives are so empty and meaningless.
* ''Series/ArrestedDevelopment'': Lindsay Funke is implied to have been like this sometime before her marriage and attempts to get back into it when pursuing her open marriage, but she just gets severe hangovers, hoarse voice (from all the cheering), and perturbing the men around her for her trouble, when her confidence doesn't just fail from the outset.
** May also apply to the young ladies who participate in the "Girls With Low Self Esteem" videos - a clear parody of the ''Girls Gone Wild'' video series.
* Lauren Branning on ''Series/{{Eastenders}}'' ended up a darker version of this character; her hard-drinking party attitude was primarily to help her cope with her troubles at home, and it ended up spiralling into uncontrollable binge-drinking and full-blown alcoholism.
* Ilsa, a sexy Russian spy, in ''Series/Danger5''.
* "Natalie's Rap," a Music/TheLonelyIsland sketch from ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'', had Creator/NataliePortman rapping about being this.
* Eden, Holly's assistant on ''Series/TheExes''.
* Maggie, one of the contestants on ''Series/IWannaMarryHarry'', just loves alcohol. The other girls snark about it behind her back.
* Amanda Kendall, the eponymous character in the ''Series/{{NCIS}}'' episode "The Admiral's Daughter" is this. Or so it seems...[[spoiler:She actually uses the trope [[ObfuscatingStupidity as a cover]] for her being a DCS operative.]]
* Chelsea, the character played by Creator/LauraPrepon in ''Series/AreYouThereChelsea''.
* One episode of ''Series/LaRosaDeGuadalupe'' has a darker take on this trope. It focuses on a girl with "drunkorexia", a condition that combines alcoholism, anorexia, and bulimia into one nasty package. She parties and drinks for the fun and social status induces vomiting to mitigate the effects of the alcohol, and avoids eating to offset the calories consumed while drinking. Definitely not played for laughs.
* ''Series/SchittsCreek'' has mother/daughter duo Moira and Alexis Rose. Moira has grown into a high-functioning LadyDrunk but loves to tell stories of her hard-partying youth. Prior to moving to town, Alexis was also a hard-partying socialite with a love of drugs and alcohol but she's cleaned up her act and become career-oriented.
* ''Series/StrangerThings'': In "Trick or Treat, Freak" Nancy Wheeler gets drunk at a Halloween party to drown her guilt over Barb's death, and lashes out at Steve when he tries to cut her off. She's so blackout drunk that Jonathan has to drive her home.
* Nina Van Horn of ''Series/JustShootMe'' was one of these in her supermodel days, with a personal history that can only be called epically debauched. Now she's a LadyDrunk fashion editor with a bit more dignity.
* ''Series/SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw'' has Madisynn King, who when brought to testify in court was even partying in the middle of the day. Her being completely slushed all the time didn't prevent her - or possibly [[UnfazedEveryman helped]] - surviving being sent to a hellish dimension and making a DealWithTheDevil to escape.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Music]]
* In 2013, Music/MileyCyrus' persona became this trope, too, and she threw some pretty overt references to cocaine and ecstasy into her lyrics. She has denounced at least cocaine use and alcohol in interviews, and it seems her main indulgence is [[TheStoner more botanical in nature]].
* The woman described in the first verse of Music/SamanthaFish's "No Angels" seems to fit this pretty well. She's an "Aphrodite on amphetamines" and likes to "tank up on Tanqueray."
%%* The beginning of Music/LitaFord's "Kiss Me Deadly".
* The titular Susie in "Tsim Sha Tsui Susie" (尖沙咀Susie) by Music/SamHui is implied to be this, dressing in bright fashions, going to the disco all night long, and flirting and being intimate with hunks and car racers.
* While she was known for her fatal heroin overdose at the age of 27, Music/JanisJoplin famously had a bottle of Southern Comfort with her at all times.
* Whether this is true of her in person or not, this trope is definitely a major part of Music/{{Kesha}}'s persona. "Tik Tok" famously opens with a line about brushing her teeth with a bottle of Jack Daniels.
* Music/KatyPerry's "Last Friday Night" and "This Is How We Do" is essentially a rundown of her drunken party activities.
* The first person-POV protagonist of the video of Music/TheProdigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" is not seen until the end, after which said protagonist has indulged in much drinking, drugging, clumsy attempts at seduction of girls and fighting (not to mention more than one VomitIndiscretionShot), but after finally stumbling, drunk and high, into a strip club and hooking up and then having wild sex with a stripper, the protagonist is revealed to be one of these.
* Music/EdSheeran's "Galway Girl". The subject of the song "took Jamie (Jameson) as a chaser, Jack (Daniels) for the fun; she got Arthur (Guinness) on the table with Johnny (Powers) riding a shotgun... another drink at the bar"... and this is all before the first time she gets up to dance.
* Music/{{Sia}}'s big hit in 2014, "Chandelier", is about a girl who appears one of these; [[DeconstructedCharacterArchetype however]], she's actually more like a depressed [[TheAlcoholic alcoholic]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Myths & Religion]]
* An OlderThanDirt example can be found in Hathor, [[Myth/EgyptianMythology Egyptian goddess]] of music, love, and drunkenness. One famous myth involves Sekhmet (or Hathor DependingOnTheWriter), in a fit of bloodlust, wanting to kill and devour the entire human race. The sun god Re (her father) thwarts this rampage by tricking her into drinking a lot of "blood" (actually beer with food coloring) until she gets so drunk she forgets about killing mankind. Once again, beer saves the day!
* Anyone who hung around Dionysus tended to drink and party a lot, and this included a lot of nymphs. It is implied that nymphs like these may have been the ones that killed Orpheus in a drunken fury when he was in mourning after failing to rescue his lover from the Underworld.
** It would appear the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as Dionysus' grandmother, the titaness Rhea (who, incidentally, [[MultipleChoicePast is also sometimes portrayed as raising him when he's a baby]]) was worshiped through orgiastic rituals, dancing and the consumption of wine. This is most likely due to her [[CompositeCharacter being syncretised with another goddess]], the Phrygian MotherGoddess Cybele, who was worshiped in the exact same manner.
* Inanna/Ishtar/Ashtoreth: her many divine attributes include brewery, sex, and warfare. How did she get so lucky? [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inanna#Inanna_and_the_Mes By getting her uncle -- Enki, the god of water and wisdom]] -- drunk enough to give her dominion over everything worthwhile! (Yes, the "god of wisdom" was seduced into a bender by his niece. Isn't mythology fun?)
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pro Wrestling]]
* Wrestling/{{Jacqueline}} has been shown to get a little crazy when her friends introduce beer to her downtime. Her sometimes {{tag team}} partner [[Wrestling/JessicaKresa ODB]] is a more extreme example, as can she drink in excess of a six-pack with no noticeable detriment to her ability...to do anything really.
* Wrestling/BlackRose, who has been known to bring beer to her clients while their matches are still in progress.
-->"Thank you for the restaurant [[Wrestling/AntonioInoki Inoki]], I am going to get drunk here!"
* [[Wrestling/ImpactWrestling TNA]] ran an angle where TheTeetotaler [[Wrestling/LisaMarieVaron Tara, FKA Victoria]] - one of the biggest and toughest-looking of the 'divas' - was forced by Wrestling/KevinNash, a notorious {{Jerkass}} both on and off-camera, to drink and quickly lost composure. She admitted this depiction was accurate even though most 'divas', who are mostly smaller and more delicate-looking, hold their liquor much better.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Theater]]
* Louise, who can't stand to stay in, and possibly also Carol, Lane, and Dor in ''Theatre/{{Road}}''.
* In ''Theatre/TheGoldenApple'', [[FarmersDaughter Helen]] is whisked away by Paris to the big city of Rhododendron and gets to enjoy the wild party life there for a while.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Video Games]]
* Suika Ibuki and Yuugi Hoshiguma from the ''Franchise/TouhouProject'' series.
** Suika is an especially stellar example, as [[WordOfGod ZUN is]] [[http://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Suika_Ibuki on record]] stating that she is ''never sober'', due to a magical gourd (treasured by all oni) that can produce an infinite amount of sake, and actually [[DrunkenMaster becomes]] ''[[DrunkenMaster stronger]]'' [[DrunkenMaster the drunker she gets]]. She is also one of the most powerful beings in Gensokyo (right up there with [[RealityWarper Yukari]] and [[PersonOfMassDestruction Flandre]]), able to, among other things, [[SuperStrength tear apart mountains with her bare hands]]. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
** Shou Toramaru is a milder example of this, averting the usual party girl personality by being more gentle and reserved. However, she is fond of alcohol and can become intoxicated very easily.
* Excellen Browning from ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsCompact2'' and ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsOriginalGeneration'' offers a variation: she's naturally this, even if alcohol's not involved. The reason is this trope is mixed in with ThePollyanna, as Excellen loves to play the CoolBigSis to anyone younger than her and will [[TheTease flirt with anything male (or female)]], even though [[SingleTargetSexuality she's devoted to the man she really loves]]. While she's portrayed as a [[TheDitz mega-ditz]] who can't seem to take anything seriously, it's only until you realize that on top of the PlayboyBunny suit-wearing ManicPixieDreamGirl antics, she's one of the best snipers of the cast and is part of one of the most feared {{Battle Couple}}s in [=SRW=] history.
* Karen from various ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon'' games. In ''VideoGame/HarvestMoon64'' it seems to be a case of her [[DrowningMySorrows drowning her sorrows]] as she's the bitter daughter of a failing vineyard owner. But games after that, that are based on the LighterAndFluffier Playstation version, still keep it despite her lighter tone of character. Karen ''really'' likes wine.
* Innes Lorenz from ''VideoGame/TalesOfHearts''. [[spoiler:It turns out most of her more eccentric early behavior was ObfuscatingStupidity]]. However, she does confess to having a real drinking problem at the church of [[CrystalDragonJesus the Great Winged Whale]] and presumably cleans up by the end so she can be a foster mother.
* Yukino-sensei from ''VisualNovel/BrassRestoration'' is always shown carrying around a bottle of sake, which she [[GrievousBottleyHarm sometimes uses as a weapon]].
* Rubi Malone of ''VideoGame/{{WET}}'', though like Revy above, she's more of a SociopathicHero than a Trickster.
* Cécile Cosima Caminandes of ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidPeaceWalker''. Has pretensions of French classiness, but in reality mostly spends her time getting incredibly drunk, failing to notice Kaz flirting with her, and sexually harassing Big Boss over the radio.
* Charme from ''VideoGame/RecettearAnItemShopsTale''. When she's not off adventuring, she can sometimes be found getting plastered at the local pub.
* Rose of Sharon Cassidy in ''VideoGame/FalloutNewVegas'', who as a companion even gives the player a perk that nullifies the negative effects of whiskey (or any alcohol, but whiskey has other benefits) so that they can drink to their heart's content. Don't have any? With the right ingredients, she'll make you some moonshine, making her the only renewable source of the stuff in the game short of vendors' semi-randomly respawning stock.
* Lilly in ''VideoGame/WastedYouth''. Getting drunk actually seems to make her ''smarter'', to the point where the school allows her as much alcohol as she wants to keep her grades from slipping.
* Ilia from ''VideoGame/StarOcean1''. In no time at all she becomes an expert at all the alcoholic delights an alien planet has to offer.
* A City Elf Warden in ''VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins'' has a cousin, Shianni, who during the prologue is drunk before noon on the day of the Warden's wedding. [[{{Deconstruction}} Any reason to celebrate when you live life as a second-class citizen in a ghetto, right]]? (Curiously, she seems to give up the stuff after the events of the prologue, [[spoiler:despite them being quite traumatic for her]]; she appears later in the game, and no one makes comments as to her state, even though her ranting in a public square would be an excellent time to point out that she's drunk.)
* Syrenne in ''VideoGame/TheLastStory''. One of the available quests is acquiring more booze after she drinks it all.
* Mel, the "Infiltrator Tits" marine, in the Purgatory nightclub in ''VideoGame/MassEffect3''. Her basic logic is that she's on shore leave during a war of extermination that we're losing, so she might as well drink everything that comes within reach and engage in the kinkiest things known to man.
* One of the {{Escort Mission}}s in ''VideoGame/TheMatrixPathOfNeo'' is escorting a majorly hungover girl, who got drunk enough to pass out in a club, to be freed from the Matrix.
* ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes'' has [[PlayedForHorror a very uncomfortably dark version of this]] in the form of [[GirlWithPsychoWeapon Bad Girl]], who's [[EstablishingCharacterMoment first introduced]] gleefully smashing apart cloned gimps with [[BatterUp a baseball bat]] (which, given she's Rank 2 of [[ProfessionalKiller the United Assassins Association]], is implied to be ''her job''), then "unwinds" by cracking open a cold one and downing it within seconds. Combined with her young age (early twenties at the absolute maximum) and the fact that beer is the only thing in her fridge creates [[AxCrazy a very eerie display of who she is]].
* ''VideoGame/TrailsSeries'':
** Scherazard and Aina from ''VideoGame/TrailsInTheSky''. The difference between the two is that Aina can hold her liquor and Schera can't.
** Sara Valestein from ''VideoGame/TrailsOfColdSteel'' is usually spotted at the local pub when not on a job and her room is filled with empty bottles.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Visual Novels]]
* Haruko from ''VisualNovel/{{AIR}}'', although [[spoiler:she turns out to be not so careless after all, and is drinking her problems away and being irresponsible]] because being a good parent might activate Misuzu's curse and kill the poor girl slowly and painfully. [[ItWasHisSled Which is exactly what happens at the very end]].
* Kathy from ''VisualNovel/DaughterForDessert'' loves to socialize over a beer or twenty. Notably, she seems like a regular at Heidi’s, even though she’s presumably under the legal drinking age.
* Lauren from ''VisualNovel/DoubleHomework'' likes to party, either with alcohol or with harder drugs.
* Downplayed with Sophia in ''VisualNovel/{{Melody}}''. She is shown to party a lot, but the effects of her heavy drinking are never shown, and only mentioned once (she vomits and passes out at a party).
* ''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}'':
** Dead Apostle #21--Sumire--is known to be among the most powerful out of all 27 Dead Apostle Vampires (the 27 most powerful non-human beings who have even remotely vampiric qualities), except for the fact that she spends the majority of her time underwater, drunk off her ass, virtually harmless except for the rare occasion when she sobers up enough to return to land.
** Among the main characters...Akiha. [[TheOjou Yes]], [[{{Tsundere}} Akiha]]. And she NeverGetsDrunk, even.
* [[LittleMissBadass Meryl]] in ''VisualNovel/RoseGunsDays'' runs on alcohol and is damn proud of it. The same can't be said of her rival [[CantHoldHerLiquor Stella]]…
* Phi is implied to be this in ''VisualNovel/VirtuesLastReward'', given the way she drools over the various cocktails in the Lounge, and how disappointed she is whenever Sigma disposes of an incorrectly mixed drink by pouring it down the drain instead of letting her drink it. However, she's also shown to be a BigEater, so this might be more indicative of her general gluttony than a fondness for alcohol in particular.
* Out of the haremettes from ''VisualNovel/TrueLoveJunaiMonogatari'', the one who fits in here is [[HospitalHottie Misako Hayama]]. [[spoiler:The first (and maybe only) sex scene with her takes place when the PlayerCharacter finds her [[DrowningMySorrows drinking her sorrows away]] after a break-up, goes out with her, and then they do it in a LoveHotel...]]
* Polly Geist from ''VisualNovel/MonsterProm'' is ''very'' much this trope, ready to drink, strip, or do drugs at a moment's notice. Since she's a ghost, she doesn't have to worry about how this lifestyle will affect her health.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Webcomics]]
* [[http://www.out-at-home.com/archives/621 Penny]] from ''Webcomic/OutAtHome''. A bit of a ''DrunkenMaster'', as well, as it seems to enhance her ''FourthWall''-breaking abilities.
* Bree, the author and star of the JournalComic ''[[http://www.sexdrugsandjunecleaver.com/ Sex, Drugs and June Cleaver]]'' portrays herself as one.
* Sister Denmark from ''Webcomic/ScandinaviaAndTheWorld'' is rarely seen far from beer. Her brother is just the same. Explained for the fact they represent their respective country, which is a top contender for highest alcohol consumption levels in Europe, if not worldwide.
* Rupph from ''Webcomic/{{Bard}}''. There's a reason she's called the "demon of the bottle".
* Elnore in ''Webcomic/ImpureBlood'' is, whenever they are near an inn, [[http://www.impurebloodwebcomic.com/Pages/Chapter004/ib019.html drinking and flirting in the midst of a crowd]]. She's not the PrettyFreeloader but a bodyguard. [[http://www.impurebloodwebcomic.com/Pages/Issue3/ib063.html Roan wonders how she keeps Dara safe while partying, but as far as she's concerned, no one has grounds to complain as long as her charge is still alive.]]
* ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'':
** Roxy Lalonde, the Reset-button teenage version of [[LadyDrunk Mom Lalonde]], is as much of a drinker as her adult counterpart and is very shameless about it. [[spoiler:She's sobered up as of Act 6 Part 5 and admits she "had a problem".]]
** While she's stuck on the meteor, [[spoiler:Rose develops a similar drinking problem.]]
* Shana Dokter Weinhousen from ''Webcomic/WhateverWheneverWherever''. Unless she's on call at the hospital, in which case she might still be a little buzzed.
* ''Webcomic/QuestionableContent'':
** {{Deconstructed|Trope}} with Faye, who is initially only the most enthusiastic social drinker in her friend group, but shows increasing signs of being a FunctionalAddict who uses alcohol as a [[DrowningMySorrows coping mechanism]]. As it escalates, she starts drinking heavily while alone, and goes sober after a bad case of alcohol poisoning.
** Millefeuille the {{Ridiculously Human Robot|s}} likes partying so much she [[https://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=4216 purchased an app]] to simulate drunkenness. Fortunately for her research job, it has an [[https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=4160 override]] for the hangover function, but it can't do anything about the AlcoholInducedIdiocy.
* Billie from ''Webcomic/DumbingOfAge'', to the point that she's slipping into TheAlcoholic territory.
* In ''Webcomic/RustyAndCo'', the FairyInABottle [[http://rustyandco.com/comic/level-6-34/ appears to be this too.]]
* Frigg from ''Webcomic/BratHalla'' takes her mead by the ''barrel'' and gets quite merry when she's wasted. During the Pantheon Games arc she goes out on a bender with fellow Goddess of Wisdom Erzulie, and ends up at a Naked Spartan Wrestling event. There are also implications of bar fights when she goes out to get hammered.
* Serena Linnen from ''Webcomic/TowerOfGod''. Fittingly, she performs the LibationForTheDead, paying her dues to [[spoiler:Hoh.]]
* [[VodkaDrunkenski Angelica]] from ''Webcomic/BloodyUrban'' is this; her primary diet consists of vodka and bacon.
%%* Hazel from ''Webcomic/GirlsWithSlingshots''.
* Allison, TheChosenZero in ''Webcomic/KillSixBillionDemons'', [[http://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/wielder-of-names-2-30/ confesses]] that she became one in her sorority to [[DrowningMySorrows dull her self-loathing and insecurity]]. It becomes a ChekhovsSkill when she [[spoiler:wins a DrinkingContest against an ancient demon]].
* In ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'', Elliot's party animal socialite alter ego form (Heidi) is basically this, complete with [[http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1180 signs of drunkedness]] as she appears to be based on Tony Stark or the more "Play Boy" takes of Bruce Wayne. Though unlike his "Mild Mannered" Clark Kent like form who is very into guys, Heidi appears to be [[https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2017-05-18 asexual (but very platonically "kissy")]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Web Original]]
* Kalessa Petris from ''Podcast/CompelledDual''. Leoril is mentioned to get his alcohol tolerance from hard drinking with her as a teenager, and her first response to most situations is to go drinking on the roof. When she came back from Vog Voldhur, a locale mentioned to have great booze, she brought back a whole suitcase of it.
* Hannah "harto" Hart, inebriated hostess of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq7G-Q9ZwC0 My Drunk Kitchen]]
* Haley from ''[[http://husbandstheseries.com/video/ Husbands]]''.
* ''Podcast/LessIsMorgue'' has Bloody Mary, who drinks so much she actually got her name from her favorite drink order. She's also the life (and death) of the party.
* ''Literature/LoomingGaia'': Alaine spends a lot of her free time partying and drinking. In "The Shadow Sector", Jeimos first meets her drunk and calling her crewmates lightweights.
* Nella from WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick is happy to drink anyone under the table, but unlike the Chick who has serious ([[PlayedForLaughs in terms of extensiveness]]) alcohol problems, she keeps it to Renaissance Fairs and {{Drinking Game}}s.
* According to one of the letters in ''WebAnimation/IfTheEmperorHadATextToSpeechDevice'', this is what all [[ChurchMilitant Adeptus]] [[AmazonBrigade Sororitas]] has turned into after the Imperial Cult had been banned.
* ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'': Subverted with Yang. In her EstablishingCharacterMoment she ''pretends'' to be a [[DumbBlonde ditzy partygirl]] to get her way, before quickly dropping the facade. Yang has the look and fun attitude of this trope, but none of the other traits. She's closer to a mellow (unless [[HotBlooded angered]]) TeamMom.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Western Animation]]
* ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'':
** Berryshine, a background character, is this both in {{fanon}} and according to WordOfGod based on a subtle alcohol reference in "Call of the Cutie" where she drinks directly out of a punch bowl.[[note]]Series creator Lauren Faust even named the pony Pinot Noir after the wine she drank while developing the show. Writer Meghan [=McCarthy=] wanted to have Berryshine burp afterwards, but the editors didn't allow it.[[/note]] In "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000," this is repeated when she is shown visibly distraught by the prospect of no [[FrothyMugsOfWater cider]], and in "A Hearth's Warming Tail" she is served a mug of cider while the cast sings "making merry", a common euphemism for getting drunk.
** Implied to be the case with [[GenkiGirl Pinkie]] [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} Pie]] in "Ponyville Confidential." When the [[PowerTrio Cutie Mark Crusaders]] print a story claiming that she's an out-of-control party animal, complete with a photo of her dancing in a punch bowl while [[LampshadeWearing wearing a lampshade]], she [[BlackComedy bursts into tears and yells]], "It's ''true!'' I ''do'' have a problem!" Her behavior in the aforementioned "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" supports this.
* ''WesternAnimation/RubyRocketPrivateDetective''.
* Bean, the protagonist of ''WesternAnimation/{{Disenchantment}}'', is very much this, although her central role means it's just a secondary character trait. Besides frequenting Dreamland's various bars and getting sloshing drunk on a regular basis, she's also mentioned to make bathtub gin in her bathtub, and sofa gin in her sofa.
* Tuca from ''WesternAnimation/TucaAndBertie'' is very much a party girl in terms of [[GenkiGirl personality]], but she subverts the "hard-drinking" part. After having at least one alcohol poisoning incident and several relapses, by the start of the series [[RecoveredAddict she's been sober for six months]] and [[TheTeetotaler wants to keep it that way]].
* Cartman's mom in ''WesternAnimation/SouthPark'' was shown to have been this in her younger years.
