Whenever a guy is gambling, you can tell he's winning because there are sexy ladies on either side of him -- and the turning of his luck is easily conveyed via a few disapproving glances from the ladies. [[GoldDigger When they leave, you know what's happened.]]

These girls may be dressed like tramps, showgirls, or even classy ladies, but they are ''always'' good-looking and seem to materialize out of nowhere.

[[folder:Literature]]
* Subverted in a ''Literature/PhoenixForce'' novel. David Carter picks up such a woman while gambling, but she ends up walking off in a snit because he prefers to keep gambling away his winnings instead of [[NotDistractedByTheSexy going off with her]]. Then he gets the AvengersAssemble call, throws in all his money and loses that too.

* In ''Series/{{CSI}}'', two bodies of the week were women of this kind. [[spoiler:They were running a con to steal the bankcards and PIN of winning gamblers by hanging all over them at appropriate moments.]]
* ''Series/Danger5:'' In "Hitler's Golden Murder Palace" Jackson has two classy girls sitting besides him when he's playing. He wins so much at the casino that he gets Hitler's attention, who challenges him to a one-on-one match.
* In ''Series/{{Greg the Bunny}}'', Warren the Ape and Greg attract arm candy at the blackjack table after Warren learns Greg is a card counter.
* ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'': Quark's bar has gorgeous women running the Dabo table (basically roulette InSpace) to distract suckers -- er, customers [[DistractedByTheSexy with the sexy]].
