* Manga/AngelDensetsu:
** Takes hit after hit and keeps getting up, moves faster than most people can follow, and if pushed, hits hard enough to literally send humans flying. If Kitano wasn't an ActualPacifist, he'd be this.
** Kitano's father is tougher, stronger, and even faster than him.
** Surprisingly, Kuroda of all people becomes this when he's driven by the PowerOfLove, or temporarily forgets about his cowardice. He can even compete with Kitano's speed.
* Manga/AttackOnTitan:
** Most of the Titans are much faster than their large sizes would suggest, but two particular examples stand out. The Female Titan is insanely fast, able to keep pace with the Survey Corps' legendary Cool Horses and capable of hardening her skin, which provides a boost to her defense and allows her to hit even harder than a normal Titan. The Armored Titan is one as well, capable of intense bursts of speed without warning. The soldiers watching are horrified, but quickly realize [[spoiler:he's shedding the armor at his joints, exposing his AchillesHeel]] in order to gain speed.
** Levi, Humanity's Strongest Soldier, is not only scarily fast at maneuvering and killing Titans, he is also tough enough to
* Manga/BattleAngelAlita has the titular cyborg heroine herself, who’s like Motoko Kusanagi on steroids. While there’s plenty of other cyborgs like Makaku, Zapan, Sechs and Zekka who are similarly strong, tough and fast, Alita is the most prominent as despite her size she’s able tear through armoured opponents with her plasma jet (which burns at 15000° C) at high speeds and repeatedly survives getting smashed through buildings and concrete structures all thanks to her super durable berserker body. It also helps thanks to Dr. Ido Alita is able to continually upgrade her body, becoming more and more of a Lightning Bruiser as the series goes on.
* Manga/Berserk:
** Guts moves as fast as Fragile Speedsters like Casca and Serpico, wields a BFS with which he can do as much damage as a MightyGlacier like Pippin (more after he adds an ArmCannon to his arsenal), and can take more punishment than any other unenhanced human in the series bar none. Taken up to eleven after he gets the Berserker Armor.
** There's also his pseudo-EvilCounterpart, Nosferatu Zodd. Being an Apostle, his strength and speed are both superhuman, and Guts being able fight Zodd on near-equal terms is a sign of how far he's come since their first encounter.
** Can’t forget The Skull Knight with his lightning fast and near unstoppable HorsebackHeroism.
* The title character of Manga/BirdyTheMighty, Birdy Cephon Altera, is super fast and agile, able to outrun cars, run up walls, and leap several stories. She can also destroy MechaMooks with her bare hands and toss steel girders with no effort.
* Manga/Bleach: The captains are supposed to be the pinnacle of power for Gotei 13 shinigami. However, Aizen is strong enough to destroy Komamura's Bankai with one sword swing. He can catch even captain-class swords with his bare hands. He's fast enough to make Ichigo (who himself is faster than most captains) think he's teleporting. Aizen once told the captains he had redefined the definition of power, and then demonstrated why by effortlessly defeating every single captain that had ganged up on him.
** Yamamoto is an absurd example of this as his power is enough to destroy Soul Society, can brutalize an Espada-level Arrancar with his bare fists, and keep up with the fastest Shinigami captains with no effort at all.
** And then there's Ichigo, whose Bankai is the personification of this trope, and at one point completely outclasses Aizen of all people.
** Sui-Feng is the fastest of the current Shinigami captains, but she's close to the level of physical strength as Komamura, and she has a high endurance, proving that she can still fight even when .
** Sui-Feng's former captain Yoruichi is known as the "Goddess of Flash" because of her mastery of the FlashStep and has a slender form that belies her immense strength. She was able to catch a punch from Yammy Llargo, an Espada known for his great strength and durability even in sealed form, and caused him significant injury. Her variation of the Shunkō technique imbues her with electrical energy to further enhance the damage of her fast and strong moves making her a more literal take on this trope.
** Not only do the Arrancar have Hierro that gives them SuperToughness, some of the Espada are not only extremely strong, but also very fast. These are Starrk, Baraggan, Harribel, Ulquiorra and Grimmjow. Starrk's Sonido is nearly on the same level as Zommari's, Baraggan is surprisingly fast, Harribel could have killed Hitsugaya with her speed if he wasn't prepared for her attack, and Ulquiorra and Grimmjow are as fast as Ichigo, if not even faster.
** Tenjiro Kirinji, who moves so fast that Sui-Feng (again, the fastest of the captains) couldn't even tell he'd moved behind her until after he'd done it and was restraining her already, and can send Ichigo flying with nothing but a smack from a wash cloth (and after doing so, he clarified that if Ichigo hadn't been in good enough health, that wash cloth attack would very likely have killed him).
* The Grand Cross from Literature/BodaciousSpacePirates can be considered as an example of this. It possesses advanced gravity control technology that not only makes it insanely maneuverable, but also provides it with a shield that can easily shrug off beam attacks. In turn, it is also armed with powerful beam weapons that can destroy spacecraft in seconds, is equipped with a capable electronic warfare system, and can also remotely control up to two similarly-equipped vessels. With that said, the Grand Cross does have a number of key weaknesses: its evasion patterns are very predictable and occasionally, it must power down after attacking. The fact that it is manned by only one human crew member also renders it susceptible to boarding as well.
* In Manga/Brave10, Jinpachi is a very literal example. He's fast, extremely physically powerful, and has lightning as his element. A villainous example is Hanzo, who hits really hard, can takes a point-blank Shunko attack and survive, and is so fast that even Saizo and Kamanosuke can't keep up with him.
* Manga/BusoRenkin: When using the energy of the Sunlight Heart, Kazuki can greatly increase his speed and attack power that, when coupled with the high level durability from his Determinator status and artificial heart, makes up for his lack of training at the beginning of the series. Unfortunately, as the Sunlight Heart is a lance, this speed is linear and is mostly used to perform Dash Attacks.
* Literature/ACertainMagicalIndex has Saints (and similar people such as Valkyries). Any Saint can trivially level buildings, block attacks of this power level (and survive getting hit even if they don't block said attacks) and run faster than the speed of sound. Acqua of the Back takes this beyond other Saints - his unique ability, Divine Mother's Mercy, lets him draw out even more power, to the point that another Saint with 50 normal magicians as backup can't beat him.
* Anime/CowboyBebop:
** Spike Spiegel, the best fighter in the Bebop crew, is this compared to his crew members and most of the enemies he encounters. Despite Jet's larger build and Faye's leaner figure, Spike is the strongest, fastest, and toughest person in the crew. Throughout the series, Spike demonstrates his Jeet Kune Do skills as well as being able to take on whole groups of armed men all the while enduring staggering amounts of pain.
** Tongpu a.k.a. Mad Pierrot, in addition to being stronger and faster than Spike, has some sort of energy shield to protect him from attacks. It is later downplayed, however, [[spoiler:as Spike, using a knife, manages to get past the shield and land a single attack on Tongpu, who then drops to the ground and starts crying that "it hurts" since he's also got the mind of a child]].
** Vincent Volaju, the BigBad of the movie, is the best example. In their last battle, Spike throws strike after strike at him, and Vincent hardly flinches. When Vincent hits back, Spike can barely stay on his feet.
** Spike's CoolStarship, the Swordfish II, takes after him in the Lightning Bruiser department. A modified racer spaceplane, it's extremely fast (being able go at light speed in space) in addition to having shields and a reinforced titanium hull. As for firepower, it has a quartet of machine guns as well as a WaveMotionGun plasma cannon. Fittingly, Faye and Jet's ships -- the Red Tail and the Hammer Head -- are a FragileSpeedster and a MightyGlacier, respectively, in comparison to the Swordfish II.
* Manga/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaiba:
** At first, Mitsuri’s great physical strength is put on the forefront as her main characteristic, as the setting gives her an extremely unique body condition in that her muscles are so tough that, despite her small body, her strength is that of a muscular structure exactly eight times bigger than she appears to have. Later in the series however, it is stated that Mitsuri actually excels at speed as well; her male muscle-bound colleagues Himejima and Uzui have pure physical strength her unique muscles didn't surpass, but she is said to be even faster than Uzui, the Hashira whose speed was said to be incredible throughout his part in the Red Light District arc.
** Himejima was first presented as being the strongest demon slayer in the series, his physical strength was seen as something absurd even against demons who by all means should make short work of any mere human, but Himejima makes short work of demons instead, but his immense physical strength isn’t all he has it seems, Himejima against one of the strongest demons in the series showed his speed is nothing to scoff at, swiftly dodging and blocking many incredibly fast attacks coming his way, to the point the demom himself noted how Himejima has attained something he perceives as the absolute peak of the human body.
** Akaza. Even for the Upper Ranks, Akaza is insanely fast, and his fighting style revolves around dealing out monstrous blows while also tanking lots of damage.
* Ryo Asuka from Anime/DevilmanCrybaby. He wields incredible power as Satan, as seen when he makes half of the Earth self-destruct without much effort. If you're thinking that he may be a SquishyWizard, you're dead wrong. He takes every hit that Akira throws at him and comes out none the worse for wear, but one physical blow from him is enough to give Akira serious damage — and it's possible that he was still holding back.
* Many Franchise/Digimon fit this trope when they evolve. Often a far larger Digimon can be faster than its much smaller pre-evolution form in spite of an often massive size difference.
** Anime/DigimonFrontier has Blizzarmon, Tomoki's Beast Spirit. In addition to being strong enough to lift Petaldramon, he can also dodge attacks through use of acrobatics, jump to great heights and even do a BladeSpam in midair, all of which were demonstrated when he fought Azuramon.
** Anime/DigimonFusion: Shoutmon DX combines the high speed of [=OmegaShoutmon=] with the sturdy defense of [=ZeekGreymon=] and the awesome fire power of both them, making him this trope on paper.
* Since specialization doesn't work in the Anime/DragonBallZ universe, every character is either this or aspires to this, since thanks to KiManipulation most of the cast are super strong, super fast and super tough flying bricks. The general formula in any given saga or movie is that a villain appears who is a LightningBruiser compared to the heroes, Goku goes through TrainingFromHell or otherwise gets a power upgrade at which point HE is the LightningBruiser compared to the villain, and everyone else CantCatchUp. Pretty much every character from the Frieza Arc and beyond is a LightningBruiser. Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, The Ginyu Force, Frieza, Trunks, Goten, Gotenks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Master Roshi, Android 17 & 18, Android 16, Cell, Majin Buu, Gogeta, Vegito, Beerus, Whis, Hit, Kefla, Goku Black, Zamasu, Gamma 1 & Gamma 2, Toppo, Jiren... you name em'.
** The huge muscle powerhouse villains of the non-canon movies fit the bill: the ones that can move at high speeds despite their bulk such as Super Garlic Junior, Final Form Cooler, Super Android 13, Full Power Bojack, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly and Full Power Super Saiyan Broly the canon Broly count as this. They often just use their muscle mass to smash the Z-Fighters (usually Goku) at high speeds.
** By the same token, some giant characters in DBZ can move like lightning regardless of their humongous size e.g Lunacy Great Ape Vegeta, Lord Slug and Cell Max.
* New antagonist of Manga/DGrayMan establishes himself as this. A few minutes after his introduction he easily flashsteps behind expertly trained Crow member Howard Link. He is capable of tanking devastating attacks of Tyki Mikk before standing visibly unhurt due to his insane regeneration abilities. He then proceeds to outspeed Tyki. Later he manages to easily dodge every single hit of top exorcist Kanda before flashstepping behind him beore he even realizes.
* In Manga/FairyTail, Laxus Dreyar is powerful enough to slap Natsu around, and dodge most of his attacks. As far as toughness, he's at least Natsu's equal. Special mention in that Laxus uses electric magic, making him a literal LightningBruiser.
** Erza as well, even without any magically enhanced armors. The stats given in the Grand Magic Games prove she is this, as well as a GeniusBruiser. Mirajane counts as well, as her stats in the Grand Magic Games match Erza's.
* In Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar, the best fighters in the series tend to be both tough-as-nails and lightning fast. Specifically, fighters of Nanto Seiken are much faster and graceful than those of other styles, with Rei, Shu, Yuda and Jyuza being stand-out examples.
* In Manga/FullmetalAlchemist, Lightning Bruisers often are so powerful that a DramaPreservingHandicap is needed to prevent them from being too unbeatable.
** In terms of physical strength, is one of the strongest characters in the series. In addition to having extremely tough skin, he can move faster than the eye can see, likely making him the strongest and fastest Homunculus (where Homunculi in general tend to be Lightning Bruisers compared to the average human). 's DramaPreservingHandicap: [[spoiler:his laziness is such that he can't even bother to learn how to control his speed]].
** The Second Greed counts as well. His Ultimate Shield, an extremely hard coating of carbon he can form on top of his skin, easily makes him the most durable character in the series. He also destroys a truck with one arm and easily defeats a squad of Central's soldiers, not to mention being able to fight on almost equal terms with . As for speed, he manages to keep up with and dodge most of incredibly fast attacks, even at one point showcasing the easy-to-miss speed that possesses. Greed has a LogicalWeakness: some alchemists can transmute his Ultimate Shield into brittle graphite. In addition to that, for some reason, in most of his fights, Greed only shields his arms instead of his whole body. Though the original Greed mentioned that he doesn't like the way his face looks with the Shield, and the Ultimate Shield seems to take a moment to form that can be interrupted, he seems to be quicker to shield his face against some opponents than others, without much regard for how likely he is to lose otherwise.
** Wrath is easily one of the most (if not the most) badass characters in the series, being both incredibly powerful and fast. His DramaPreservingHandicap: spoiler:unlike his Homunculi brethren, Wrath is unable to heal and regenerate meaning he only needs to be killed once. However, the single life that Wrath possesses is extremely tough and can take a huge amount of damage, making him very hard to kill. Overall, Wrath is a downplayed example of this trope.
** Alex Louis Armstrong is one of the fastest fighters in the show, despite his large, muscular physique. In an early fight with Scar (arguably another Lightning Bruiser, being able to kill with a touch and, with difficulty, dodge gunfire), Scar commented on how Armstrong's combined speed and near-superhuman strength, along with the power of his alchemy, made him a formidable foe, to the point that Scar had to spend a while focused on dodging attacks before he could find an opportunity to strike (and his attack still didn't quite connect). At one point, Armstrong moved even faster than .
* Manga/Gangsta:
** Though some of the Twilights lean towards Fragile Speedsters, most (e.g. Nic, Galahad, Gawain, and Ginger) are Lightning Bruisers with enhanced strength, speed, and durability. Not only can they FlashStep around, lift steel beams and kick cars off the ground, but some (such as Nic) can take Celebrer, which boosts their abilities even further, though at the cost of their mental and physical health.
** There's also Superhuman Normals who have the same strength, speed and toughness as the Twilights but aren't ranked or affected by Celebrer after-effects or toxicity. Superhuman Normals such as Marco, Strike, Erica, Beretta and Mikhail can easily give the aforementioned Twilights a run for their money.
* Major Motoko Kusanagi, the heroine of Franchise/GhostInTheShell. Since she's a Cyborg (a human brain in a robot body, to be precise), she's fast, incredibly strong (she tries and almost succeeds at prying the hatch of a tank open in one scene) and agile. In the 1995 film, we see her chase and take down a BrainwashedAndCrazy armed thug by RoofHopping and using her InvisibilityCloak to sneak up on him and roundhouse-kick him in the face.
* In Manga/HeavensLostProperty, Astraea is considered among the strongest and fastest of the Angeloids. She's even stronger than Ikaros, and while Ikaros is slightly faster, Astraea is more agile. She can stop and turn on a dime when going at super speed.
* Manga/Hellsing:
** Alucard is fast enough to keep up with Fragile Speedsters like the Dandy Man. He has an insanely quick HealingFactor that renders him impossible to injure for more than a few seconds by any mundane means or most supernatural ones. Even if you get past that, he canonically cannot be killed unless you kill the shades of every person he's ever eaten, an army of millions. An army which he can summon at will on the off chance that he's up against something that can't be taken down by his already-formidable personal bag of offensive tricks.
** Seras Victoria despite being a FriendlyNeighbourhoodVampire can paint the halls with foes’s blood in a matter of minutes as well as shrug off grievous injuries with her HealingFactor. [[spoiler: Seras becomes even more of a Lightning Bruiser when she drinks Pip’s blood and becomes a true “Draculina” i.e turning into a whirlwind of death and reducing Zorin Blitz's face into a scrap of skin]].
** The Captain from Millennium, being an extremely powerful Werewolf is strong enough kick torpedos around and beat the crap out of the aforementioned Seras (even with her NextTierPowerUp), fast enough to catch Walter's strings and move at a blur-like speed. If that wasn't enough The Captain can just shrug off getting stabbed by Seras's demonic arm, grab Walter’s strings without losing his fingers and Intangibility phase through attacks with a mist-like ability. His only weakness is silver which he happily ILetYouWin gives to Seras to use against him.
** Alexander Anderson, as well. On top of being incredibly fast, Anderson's physical strength is immense, being able to stagger an immortal being such as Alucard with a single punch; especially considering Alucard takes high caliber bullets to the chest standing up and is unfazed. It's taken up to eleven once he becomes God's Monster, Anderson can literally speedblitz the likes of Alucard faster than the vampire can react.
* In Manga/HunterXHunter, Gon Freeccs is very fast, you can beat the shit out of him, but Determinator he will not give up, and even before he learnt his MegatonPunch, he had enourmous strength.
** Hiei's Expy Deuteragonist Killua Zoldyck is not only strong and fast like him, but he has also a very high endurance, and he will not fall down that easily like his FragileSpeedster counterpart.
** Hisoka is not only stronger and faster than our heroes, he's also tends to ignore pain.
** Knuckle is also stronger than Gon and Killua, and he runs fast since his childhood. And he is definitely tough.
** Uvogin: makes craters with his fists? Check, fast enough to catch bullets in his mouth? Check, durable enough to tank many beatings and have a guy with serated teeth rip two chunks out of him? Check and mate.
** The Chimera Ant Royal Guards as well. We don't see much of Shaiapouf's fighting ability, but Menthuthuyoupi is a lot faster than he looks, especially when he extrudes tentacles from his back. Neferpitou is fast enough to , but was also able to [[spoiler: survive at least one of Gon's mentioned Megaton Punches while he was in LimitBreak transformation (stated to be almost as powerful as Meruem), and rip his arm off while he was in this state.]]
* Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure:
** Jotaro and Dio's Stands, Star Platinum and The World from Stardust Crusaders, are two of the strongest, most durable, and fastest Stands in the series. The World is so fast that TimeStandsStill because it can't keep up with The World.
** The Pillar Men from Battle Tendency Kars, Esidisi, Wamuu and Santana, even compared to Stands of later parts are truly formidable opponents. All of the Pillar Men are super strong, super fast (especially Wamuu, who’s also the bulkiest) and they can make their bodies as hard as rock and stretch and manipulate their malleable bodies in a variety of ways. Their DramaPreservingHandicap is a weakness to both the Hamon and sunlight but even then they’re still extremely hard to kill. [[spoiler: Once Kars gets the Red Stone of Aja and becomes the UltimateLifeForm, those handicaps are removed]].
** A Non-Stand and Pillar Man example is Jonathan Joestar from Phantom Blood, as he has explicit SuperStrength to point where he can rip steel apart, he’s also quick enough to keep up with vampires like Dio and he can shrug off grevious wounds in midst of battle. Just imagine if Jonathan had awakened a Stand to add to all that.
* Manga/JujutsuKaisen:
** Yuji was already strong, fast and tough for a human before eating Sukuna's finger. Learning how to wield cursed energy makes him even stronger. [[spoiler:It's implied that Kenjaku might've had a hand in giving him a strong body for the purpose of giving Sukuna a powerful vessel to reincarnate in.]]
** Gojo's infinite Limitless empowers his physical attacks, gives him FlashStep levels of speed and grants him a nigh-impenetrable defence.
** Even without his Boogie Woogie, Aoi Todo is a powerful BareFistedMonk who's tough enough to trade blows with Yuji, give him pointers on how to improve, and later form a flawless team-up against Hanami.
* Shibata Genzo of Manga/KemonoMichi used to be a top professional wrestler, before he was transported into another world. He is built like a tank and is durable as one, moves like one gunning its engines to max, and his attacks have the devasting force of a main gun blast or three. He can even go so far as to resist several direct swipes from the razor-sharp claws of the giant Griffins, with just his bare arms!
* Pretty much anyone wearing a Kamui in Anime/KillLaKill. They're stupid strong, strong enough to make craters behind hits, make shockwaves from pure willpower, and defeat multiple enemies with one strike. They're ridiculously durable, able to take devastating hits without flinching, and survive what would be a finishing move for any other uniform. And to top it all off, they rocket around the battlefield at blinding speeds. Definite LightningBruiser.
** Kill la Kill actually has tiers of Lightning Bruisers. Compared to a normal human, anyone in a Goku Uniform is a LightningBruiser, and each Goku Uniform gets progressively more powerful depending on the number of stars the uniform has. The first fight of the series demonstrates this by pitting an unnamed student in a One Star Uniform against Three Star student council member Ira Gamagoori. It doesn't end well. A Kamui is the equivalent of a Ten Star Uniform.
** Ragyo Kiryuin even more than anyone else. Even without a Kamui she kicked Satsuki's ass, and outmatches both Ryuko and Satsuki at the same time using their full power.
* In the OVA Anime/LastOrderFinalFantasyVII there are the bioaugmented like Sephiroth and Zack, the latter of whom is shown easily dodging machine gun fire from multiple shooters and causing the shooters to hit each other. Then he casually pulls his BFS Buster Sword out of the ground with one hand -- the same sword that two troopers working together couldn't even budge. Sephiroth just makes Zack look like a slouch in comparison, blitzing him at high speeds in their mid air sword fight and then slashing Zack so hard with the Masamune that he gets blown out of the MAKO reactor room.
** [[spoiler:Cloud a BadassNormal at this point can be considered this, given he stabs through Sephiroth like butter and then clashes blades with him so fast sparks fly. Cloud also is tough enough to get impaled twice by the Masamune and yet he can still overpower Sephiroth]].
* In Franchise/LyricalNanoha, we have several examples.
** The knights Signum and Zest Grangaitz are extremely strong, they can keep up with the fastest people, and they have strong defenses.
** The ground mages Subaru Nakajima and Ginga Nakajima are not as fast as the fastest FragileSpeedster, but they are much faster than most people and they have the advantage that they can move in buildings better and faster than any aerial mage; they are also very strong and their main strategy is a OneHitKill, and unlike the other Cyborg Combat Cyborgs, they are neither Fragile Speedsters nor Glass Cannons.
** Einhard Stratos, Miura Rinaldi and Sieglinde Jeremiah hit hard, are very fast, and they don't go down easily. This becomes more obvious when Vivio fought the former two, dealing much less damage than them. And Sieglinde is even better than them in terms of strength, speed and defense.
*** Particularly Miura benefits from this trope, since her speed, strength and endurance allow her to defeat her three major opponents, who are either a GlassCannon, a FragileSpeedster or a SquishyWizard.
** Vivio used to be this in [=StrikerS=]. When in her Sankt Kaiser Mode, she punched so hard, the whole Cradle, including the air, shook. She is damn fast, but what makes it really difficult to fight her is her Anti-Magic Field armor, which weakened incoming magical attacks. After losing that mode, she became a FragileSpeedster who lacks the AMF armor and her power, the only remaining strength that is left is her speed and reflexes.
** Deville of Hückebein is TheBrute who teleports in battle. Unfortunately for him, Fate Testarossa-Harlaown is still faster than him. If it wasn't for his regeneration and AntiMagic abilities, he would be rather easy for her to take him down.
* Larger mobile suits in Franchise/Gundam series often have numerous boosters and verniers to compensate for their size. The titular ZZ Gundam, for instance, is one of the largest headliner suits for a series, but also incredibly fast. Such suits often function the best in space. However, the Byarlant Custom from Anime/MobileSuitGundamUnicorn can also move ridiculously quicly for its size while in the atmosphere.
** For more conventional mobile suits:
*** The Gouf Custom from Anime/MobileSuitGundamThe08thMSTeam fits the bill. Fast as a thief, as well armored as a tank and armed with a 75mm gatling gun on one arm and a scimitar-styled heat sword in the other, it's the ideal ground fighter for any ace pilot, as evidenced by Norris Packard's famous rampage. In general, however, the Gouf line is this, with the main weakness being that they are largely specialized for close-ranged encounters on the ground.
*** Pretty much the point with the Dom line, being very clunky, heavily-armored mobile suits with thrusters in their legs to enable them to get around much faster. They all come with a special chest blaster normally used to blind other pilots, and they also come with the heat saber, a true BFS among mobile suits in that they are effectively a mobile suit-sized nodachi.
** All five Gundams in Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing. Due to the fact that they are made out of from Gundanium Alloy, not only they are agile, they also resistant to most beam weapons.
* In Manga/MyHeroAcademia, there are multiple characters who have Quirks that grant them the power of this trope.
** One For All is a Quirk that can be passed from person to person that grants the powers of both SuperStrength and SuperSpeed. And because this Quirk also has a Stockpiling Mechanism, the amount of strength and speed increases each time its passed on, with the two most recent users, All Might and Izuku Midoriya, wielding insane amounts of strength and speed that most other heroes cant even hope to match.
*** Midoriya takes it up even more levels by utilizing the previous users’ quirks in tandem with One For All once he has access to them. Fa Jin further enhances the kinetic energy via repetitive movements, blackwhip lets him do Spider-Man-style swinging with dark energy tendrils, Float lets him negate his gravity while using it. Most powerful is Gearshift, which lets him increase the speed of objects or himself. Gearshift is a last resort power, though, as it could wreck him if used wrong.
** All Might and Midoriya's mentor, the retired Hero Gran Torino, also has this thanks to his Quirk, Jet, that allows him to expel the air that he breathes from the soles of his feet. While his power and speed are noted as being not as great as One For All, it is still much greater than normal, as Gran Torino demonstrates enough power to instantly take out an ArtificialHuman Nomu in one hit and enough speed to mostly keep up with All Might.
** Katsuki Bakugo's Quirk, Explosion, allows him to create and utilize powerful explosions for both offense and maneuverability. He can use the momentum of his explosions to propel himself forward at great speeds, enough to even allow him to achieve NotQuiteFlight in some instances. His explosions also have enough power to take out most obstacles in his way and while they didn't do much damage, his max power explosions were strong enough to temporarily slow down All Might.
** Tenya Iida's Quirk, Engine, he has engines in the calves of his legs that grant him the power of SuperSpeed. He's fast enough to complete a fifty meter dash in only three seconds and his speed allows him to gain enough momentum to hit his opponents like a truck. This also applies to the rest of his family who are all members of a HeroicLineage that grant them the same Quirk( there is some variation as his brother, Tensei Iida, has engines in his forearms instead of his calves), and all carry the same Hero name 'Ingenium".
* Manga/Naruto:
** A, the Fourth Raikage, is a literal example of this trope. Normally, he's an enormous ScaryBlackMan who is capable of breaking down walls by punching them. Once in battle, he can use lightning chakra to boost his speed and reflexes to ludicrously high levels as well as shield himself. He's able to keep up with the extremely fast Sasuke, even blitz him a few times, dodge , and dodge Defensively, it can also block a sword that can easily cut through steel weapons and severely weaken an attack that could blow straight through stone. He was the fastest character in the manga since Minato Namikaze, who used deliberate TeleportSpam. The Tsuchikage, Onoki, can make him even faster by casting a jutsu on him that lightens him, and then increases his weight at the exact moment of impact for stopping power.
** His father, the Third Raikage is also a LightningBruiser. [[spoiler:He can move as fast as A's initial level of speed, and even dodged the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken twice despite being blinded and the attack coming from behind him. Note, the Futon: Rasenshuriken is so fast it can cross an entire mountain range in less than a second, making it at mach 70 speeds.]]
** Naruto Uzumaki himself is quite the LightningBruiser when he's in [[spoiler:his Sage Mode, Kurama Chakra Mode, and Tailed Beast Mode. In Sage Mode, he's strong enough to toss 10,000 ton 91 meter tall rhinos into the stratosphere and fast enough to blitz a rocket propelled Asura Path without any Pain being able to react AND keep up with the aforementioned Third Raikage. Kurama Chakra Mode is strong enough to lift massive, incredibly dense Bijudama's with one arm and is faster than the Fourth Raikage A. And in Biju Mode he's fast enough to save Kakashi and Gai from being blasted off the face of the earth from five Bijudama's-and he sends all five flying to the next zip code just by tapping and moving past them!]]
** Tobirama Senju is becoming a LightningBruiser.
** Not to be outdone, Hashirama Senju is also a LightningBruiser. [[spoiler:He has the Senju lifeforce which means he has a massive amount of physical strength like his granddaughter Tsunade, and he's fast enough to outrun a Bijudama launched by Susanoo Kurama. Note, the Bijudama clocks at Mach 143 in sheer speed.]]
** Rock Lee moves faster than sound and can tank getting smashed into stone, ironically subverted when he uses the Eight Gates which turns Lee into a GlassCannon thanks to the DeadlyUpgrade.
** Sakura Haruno becomes one [[spoiler:after completing her Yin Seal. She uses her SuperStrength to punch a target, despite it moving at a fast speed, easily keeps pace with it...then smashes it with a tremendous impact.]]
** Tobi was already an Intangibility intangible tough man who consistently tanked fatal injuries yet survived, and was a strong OneManArmy who was fast enough to keep up with a . But after becoming the spoiler:Jinchuriki of the Jubi, Tobi has literally become the WorldsStrongestMan who easily withstands and breaks all the Four Hokages' seal and then proceeds to destroy the First and Second Hokages with terrifying power and speed in just a few seconds.
** Possibly surpassing A or even Naruto when it comes to being a Lightning Bruiser is Might Guy when opening the Eighth Gate. Since when he did, Gai moved so goddamn fast that he warped space around him and his attacks were so strong that he destroyed most of BigBad Madara’s body. On the downside Guy almost died as a result of opening the Eighth Gate and was crippled for life afterwards.
** Any ninja using Chidori might count for an instant; the attack is both super-fast and overwhelming. And it could be a lightning bruiser because Kakashi later named the jutsu "Lightning Blade" when it cut a bolt of lightning in half.
* In Manga/OnePiece:
** Luffy, Zoro and Sanji, known as "The Monster Trio", are the three strongest crew members of the Straw Hat Pirates. They're also the fastest people in the crew who can take severe amounts of damage Brook is actually faster than the Monster Trio but he distinctly can't handle the same kind of injuries they tank, nor does Brook have their strength and all three can use Haki after the TimeSkip.
** Admiral Kizaru, whose light powers not only inflict MASSIVE damage but also allow him to be intangible and travel at the speed of light. As of Egghead Kizaru is more capable of keeping up with Luffy’s SuperMode Gear 5 something even Kaido was unable to do.
** While everyone of the [=CP9=] who mastered the Six Forms is a LightningBruiser, thanks to the abilities Soru and Tekkai and their enormous strength, Jabra is the most notable one because he's the only member who can move while using Tekkai. Not to mention his Wolf Zoan Devil Fruit which like Rob Lucci, makes Jabra extra ferocious in combat.
** Oars the undead Giant is one, thanks to having Luffy’s Shadow which allows Oars to move swiftly and hit with enough force to crush foes into paste. Zoro is amazed over the fact Oars’s size and strength and Luffy’s agility and skill is an incredibly dangerous mix.
** The Fish-man Jimbei, while a Lightning Bruiser on land, is especially formidable underwater. Moria lampshades it: "You're fast for a big fellow!" And post-timeskip, he kept up with Luffy.
** Enel from Skypeia is quite a literal example with his ShockAndAwe Logia powers. Even by the current standards of the series and other Logia users, he’s exceptionally powerful, blindingly fast and unbelievably tough even when he’s NighInvulnerability is bypassed case in point when Wyper a (Lightning Bruiser himself) exploits the KryptoniteFactor Seastone to make Enel tangible and uses the Reject Dial on his heart killing him, Enel simply restarts his own heart, a feat only ever pulled off again by goddamn Gear 5 Luffy and putting the fear of god in everyone who witnesses it. Not to mention even when Luffy being immune to electricity is able to beat Enel up (unlike everyone else whom got stomped), Enel is still able to give Luffy a damn good fight aided by his Observation Haki.
** Doflamingo. He's fast as hell, hits like an out-of-control dump truck, and can shrug off just about anything.
** Bartholomew Kuma despite being a TopHeavyGuy is this thanks to his Paw Paw fruit being able to perform the FlashStep across any distance he chooses. In the first fight we see him take part in, Kuma one shots Franky (strongest crewmate after the Monster Trio) and then almost kills both Zoro and Sanji, shrugging off their attacks. It’s a mark of how powerful the crew (especially the aforementioned trio) have become when they can defeat the Pacifista, Kuma’s robotic duplicates. Egghead Island arc shows even when massively wounded after two years of abuse, Kuma is still a Lightning Bruiser with him able to fight and keep up with Akainu and escape even with his leg melted off by lava. Not to mention he’s a Cyborg which probably helps.
** Boa Hancock, the mightiest of the Kuja, is much stronger than her built suggests being able to break stone and bring down the Pacifista with her kicks. She’s also fast enough to SpeedBlitz the likes of Smoker and even Douglas Bullet and can use Haki to defend herself, not that she even needs to most of the time.
** The Vinsmoke siblings Reiju, Ichiji, Niji and Yonji being genetically Transhuman enhanced superhumans are super strong, super fast and thanks to a exoskeleton are super tough and can repair most injuries in seconds as well as being further empowered through Raid Suits. [[spoiler: Although ironically, the siblings are outstripped in Lightning Bruiser-ness by their born normal brother, the aforementioned Sanji, even before he awakened his own genetic powers that made him a EmpoweredBadassNormal.]]
** A lot of Animorphism Zoan Devil Fruit users can be classified as this especially in their hybrid forms as their physical prowess is dialled up to eleven. Besides the aforementioned Rob Lucci and Jabra with their Leopard and Wolf forms, there’s also Kaku (Giraffe), Pell (Falcon), Chaka (Jackal) and Marco (Phoenix) who are incredibly strong, fast and tough combatants especially Marco who has a HealingFactor too. Then there’s the Ancient Zoans in Wano, specifically Drake (Allosaurus), Page One (Spinosaurus), Ulti (Pachycephalosaurus), Sasaki (Triceratops) and King (Pteranodon) who thanks to their Dinosaur powers are formidably strong, fast and ridiculously tough.
** Yamato, the former "Oni Princess", and child of Kaido has is definitely a LightningBruiser. In his first appearance, he blitzes Ulti with one mace swing, taking her down before she can react. [[spoiler:Then later in the arc, upon activating his Mythical Zoan-type Okuchi-no-Makami, Yamato can keep up and match Kaido in combat and tank his blows, which is something Luffy and Zoro (two of the toughest members of the crew) failed to do; that makes Yamato an extremely impressive fighter indeed.]]
** Whitebeard, full stop. This guy isn't called "The WorldsStrongestMan" for shits and giggles. He's been thought of as more of a freaking force of nature. As of , Whitebeard was already an elderly man in his 70's (WELL out of his prime) stricken with terminal illness, of which he was in a highly advanced stage no less. During , he was taking breaks because his heart was giving out on him. Even then, Whitebeard flash stepped Akainu, an Admiral who didn't even notice until he was warned of Whitebeard's ambush, and promptly knocked him unconscious with a single hit. On top of that, Whitebeard and still went on to split an island in HALF.
** [[spoiler:Only one person in the history of One Piece has equaled Whitebeard in a duel, and that person being Gol D. Roger, who as a FlashBack shows was strong, fast, and tough enough to fight Whitebeard for three days to a stand still. Just the clash of Roger and Newgate’s weapons alone was enough to create a shockwave that blew back both their crews and the island they were standing on, which is what happens when you pit two legendary Lightning Bruisers against each other]].
** Garp, Luffy’s grandpa was not called the “The Hero of Marines” as an idle boast as he is certainly one of the most badass Lightning Bruisers in the series. Most of the time he’s just a CoolOldGuy who isn’t any more intimidating than the other Marine big wigs, than post Wano we see Garp pulling some truly Z-Fighter level destruction. Case in point when rescuing Koby from the Blackbeard pirates he literally punches the island with a Haki-infused punch which creates a shockwave blast dome that destroys buildings and blows everyone over (when goofing around). We also see him shrug off Shiryu impaling him with his katana before smashing the bastard into the ground and that’s before Garp casually blitzes to the centre of the island to punch Pizarro by pinballing off buildings or just prior matching and overpowering his former student former admiral Kuzan (the guy curb stomped Luffy, Zoro and Sanji and fought Akainu for 10 days!) in a CrossCounter. It takes the collective Blackbeard pirates and Kuzan going all out with his Ice Logia Devil Fruit to take Garp down and even then it’s inferred the only reason they were only able to manage this is due to the fact Garp was focused AFatherToHisMen on making sure his troops escaped the island. It’s no surprise Garp in his prime could match the Pirate King himself.
** Garp’s protégé Koby despite starting off the series PatheticallyWeak compared to the MainCharacters has become a Lightning Bruiser thanks to Garp’s TrainingFromHell and learning Rokushiki like [=CP9=]. Post Whole Cake we see him catch up with redirect a torpedo underwater and post Wano he endures torture from the Blackbeard pirates and despite being still wounded from his battle with Boa Hancock and Blackbeard Pirates Koby could unleash a incredible MegatonPunch that destroys Pizarro‘s island hand. Keep in mind it took even the Monster Trio many years of training and several buffs to display this kind of raw LightningBruiser power while Koby by comparison was able to achieve it in comparatively shorter period of time from when we first met him in East Blue to the TimeSkip — all thanks to Garp.
** Charlotte Linlin a.k.a. Big Mom, one of the Yonko of the Seas, is surely built like a blimp but she has the force of wrecking ball and is 10 times as durable; Big Mom can even break open a iron bound door just by charging through it like a stiff breeze. Her sheer unstoppable terror is shown in all its glory at the end of the Whole Cake Island Arc, when she chases the Straw Hats down to the very borders of her country and only stops when she gets the cake she wants. The Wano anime validates Linlin’s Lightning Bruiser credentials :in her expanded fight with Kaido as she easily matches his every blow, staggering him with a punch of her own, deflecting his mace attack (which one-shot Luffy) and displays incredible speed AirJousting with her fellow Yonko so hard they make Kung Fu Sonic Booms. Later on Big Mom is able to keep up with both Law and Kidd despite the former liberally spamming his TeleportSpam technique Shambles.
*** Big Mom’s second son Charlotte Kakakuri is twice as much a LightningBruiser as his mother, being built like a hunky tank with the speed of a bullet train. Katakuri is strong enough to effortlessly defeat Ichiji (Sanji's eldest brother), out-speed the very fast Carrot and gave Luffy the beating of a life time all while tanking attack after attack. Add advanced Observation Haki to the pot (allowing him to see a couple of seconds into the future) and Katakuri is so strong that
** Kaido is shown to be superior to in any way. He no-sells all of the latter's attacks despite said SuperMode, and after Kaido had enough, he took out with one swing of his mace within a blink of an eye. Proving how quick Kaido is, he attacks [[spoiler:Luffy again with the same attack during their second fight. Thanks to the latter's training, he avoided getting one-shot by it this time. Even though he saw it coming with his advanced Observation Haki, he couldn't block or counter. Luffy only had enough time to minimize as much damage as possible.]]
*** While Kaido's right-hand men, the All-Stars Jack, Queen and King, are Lightning Bruisers themselves to varying degrees, King is the best example out of the three: due to his Lunarian heritage, he is able to create and manipulate fire, can fly, is deceptively durable and incredibly fast. He provides Zoro with his first real challenge in a one on one in the New World, and it shows; Zoro is only able to match his raw fighting power due to figuring out how his body works (King can be either durable or fast, but never both) and [[spoiler:unlocking Conqueror's Haki]].
** As flashbacks show. Kozuki Oden was a beast, plain and simple. Oden was able to throw boulders at an early age, overpower massive beasts, catch rabbits and blitz his foes, tank getting struck with multiple arrows, and even clash blades with freaking Whitebeard himself. spoiler:If that wasn’t enough, Oden could even put the aforementioned Kaido on the ropes in a one on one fight, and he only lost due to the Beast Pirates making him think they had his son Momonosuke hostage and Kaido took Oden out when he was distracted.
** Shanks is this, though granted we’ve only ever seen him fight a scant number of times but he definitely qualifies. He can FlashStep like Whitebeard from a sitting postion when they have their BladeLock, he just shrugged off getting his entire arm bitten off by a Sea King and he’s so strong In Anime/OnePieceFilmRed Shanks gives Kizaru a taste of his own medicine pulling a SpeedBlitz on him.
* Webcomic/OnePunchMans Saitama can take city-destroying attacks head-on without receiving a single scratch, is strong enough to effortlessly kill said city-destroying monsters/villains with one single punch and has lightning-fast movements that leave solid SpeedEchoes from the sheer speed, with reflexes and senses to match. Several characters note how out this world his power seems and he is at one point described as a PhysicalGod. Saitama being this has rendered him bored because the whole hero business got too easy for his tastes and longs for a WorthyOpponent with whom he can give his all.
** Other heros, villains und monsters also fall into this category but to a lesser extent:
*** Genos is ridiculously fast, particularly when using his flames to boost his speed, powerful enough to level five story buildings with ease, and as a cyborg can ignore any damage that doesn't physically prevent him from moving. He still loses more battles
*** Despite being a 270 meter tall Kaiju, Marugori is also fast enough to engage in Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs.
*** Lord Boros was so fast he melted his surroundings just by moving around, was strong enough to rip of a huge chunk of his own spacecraft and was the first character shown to actually survive a single punch from Saitama.
*** at his peak is a LightningBruiser gifted in martial arts.
* Manga/OutlawStar has the resident CatGirl Aisha, who is not only super strong but also incredibly durable and very agile, which could apply to her entire species, the Ctarl-Ctarl. The only other crew member who comes close is Suzuka, who outclasses Aisha in speed and has very deadly sword techniques, but is otherwise a normal human. Can’t forget Gene Starwind himself, despite being a normal human he’s casually dodged laser shots, matched powerful opponents like Aisha in combat, recovered from their attacks and reacted to bullet-timer Suzuka’s sword swings.
%%* Pokemon The Series has Ash's Pikachu. Strong enough to beat a Mega Gyrados, extremely fast as well. %%There is no context on whether the character in question is stronger and tougher than others. The character is stated to be "extremely fast", but there is no context on whether it is faster than others.
* Anime/RebornToMasterTheBlade has two examples.
** The protagonist, Inglis, is significantly stronger than her curvaceous but not muscular build would have you believe. She's perfectly capable of knocking around magicite beasts like they were toys even though they're both many times larger and heavier than her, and all with such insane speed that most people can barely keep track of her or barely realize she's struck until after the resulting dust cloud has settled.
** Eris the Hieral Menace is an EquippableAlly who, thanks to the nature her creation, is TheAgeless and looks like a young, lithe 20-something woman. Combined with her DualWielding two short swords, you might think that she relies on pure speed and agility to best her opponents. In reality, however, she's also got frightening raw strength to support it, and she's able to make a CleanCut on a solid metal sword after a just few minutes of battle.
* Manga/TheRedRangerBecomesAnAdventurerInAnotherWorld:
** Red can run at speeds of 33 m/s, punch with 20 tons of force, and take almost as much damage as he can dish out.
** Rosie is called the strongest swordsman and can even take the Maximum Kizuna Kaiser head-on in a contest of strength and push it back. In the end, Red is forced to make Rosie a TwinkleInTheSky by sending him flying with the wind produced by a swing of the Great Kizuna Sword, but even this isn't enough to kill Rosie.
* In Manga/RurouniKenshin, Hiko Seijuro, stated by the writer to be THE most powerful and skilled character in the series, is stronger, faster, and most importantly, tougher than Kenshin (and everyone else).
* Manga/SailorMoon has Minako Aino. The manga shows her tolerating good amounts of pain, perform a FlashStep and take down Makoto (who has explicit SuperStrength) with a single kick, but the anime brought her up to eleven: having someone look in your Dream Mirror is so painful to make people faint and stay out for a while, yet Minako resisted more than anyone else in spite of having two villains looking through it (and was apparently excited by the experience) and recovered in a couple minutes; right after her painful experience, she broke through metal manacles (Artemis was scared when she did this, but considering he had just told her to do it it's probable he was scared by her being beyond furious) before single-handedly utterly kicking the ass of Hawk's Eye, Tiger's Eye and two Lemures; and she can outrun cars after having her Pure Heart Crystal extracted (anyone else just fainted due the extreme weakness).
* Cosmo users in Manga/SaintSeiya. They can hit as hard as tanks, take a few of those hits (and even more when wearing their armor) and move at the speed of sound... And those are the weak ones, the typical Bronze Saints and equivalents. Silver Saints (and equivalents) are far stronger (one once demolished a mountain. With one hit) and move between mach 2 and 5, and those on the level of Gold Saints move at the speed of light, can hit far harder than the usual Silver Saint, and take a few of their own attacks without armor-or just ignore the mightiest attacks of anyone who is not on their level.
* Anime/SonicX has a couple of fast and physically dominating powerhouses in the series.
** Sonic the Hedgehog is no slouch in this department. He's usually about as speedy as he is in the games which doesn't need no explanation given his track record, but his extreme strength deserves mention whenever he's not using his signature RollingAttack. He can smash robots of any kind with his fists, clash with Knuckles, and once shoved a giant Mecha's hand off of him that pinned him against a wall. If that's not enough he has massive durability as he was plowed through dozens of buildings and took a horrendous beating from a HumongousMecha (and still kept standing despite being injured) as well as getting pummeled by Shadow.
** Knuckles the Echidna is in a league of his own no doubt. He's not exactly as speedy as his rival/friend but Knux is no stranger to moving at high speeds as he can dodge incoming bullets and Shadow's Chaos Spears, and he's indeed ridiculously strong. Strong as in demolishing most of Eggman's machines that dwarf him in size, grabbing a building-sized robot's tail and swung it around with no issue, and held back Shadow's SpinAttack. He can tank numerous beatings from someone such as Yellow Zelkova, who kept beating the living crap out of him and still kept coming back for more while being mostly unfazed by the pain.
** Shadow the Hedgehog, the UltimateLifeForm is about as fast as Sonic himself, and is vicious when it comes to fighting opponents. Almost every fight with him tends to be either a CurbStompBattle or a CurbStompCushion. Whenever he combats Sonic it tends to vary. He's either evenly matched by the Blue Blur's might or can outright destroy him. Other than Sonic, Knuckles was able to give him some trouble such as when he slammed him into a metallic wall with only a slight bruise and has even defeated the former with a single SpinAttack. Granted, that also made his inhibitors fall off of him afterwards, meaning that Knuckles "gave it his all" according to Rouge. When he removes his all of inhibitor rings there's basically no stopping him, but it does drain his stamina after proper usage.
* Anime/SuperDimensionFortressMacross features the Variable Fighter TransformingMecha, which are generally fast but thinly armored due to their alternate mode being aircraft. The addition of the Super Pack turns it into one of these, retaining the high speed and transforming ability, but providing additional protection in the form of applique armor and additional missile and gun racks. The related Armor Pack is more of a MightyGlacier situation, as the VF loses the ability to transform into a fast fighter craft in favor of slab-sided defense and lots of missiles. Notably, the Zentraedi Glaug Officer Pod is not this in spite of its fearsome appearance: it has quick handling and powerful weaponry, but like all Zentraedi units its armor is quite poor against human weapons, making it more of a GlassCannon.
* Anime/SwordArtOnline has Kirito, who exhibits a preference for heavy swords throughout the series and has in-game reflexes so lightning-fast that, in SAO, it granted him the ability to use DualWielding skills. Later on in the series, he crosses swords with Yuuki, who is just as powerful a sword fighter as him and even faster.
* Manga/TokyoGhoul has several notable examples, separating themselves from the usual balanced approach of most types of Ghouls.
** Ken Kaneki becomes one over the course of the story, developing from a GlassCannon into a faster, tougher opponent that can run circles around most foes, hit with incredible force, and capable of healing almost instantly from most damage.
** RetiredBadass Yoshimura turns out to be one, with InstantArmor that can tank all but the strongest attacks and an Ukaku's natural speed. His FlechetteStorm is stated to hit with the force of a shotgun blast, demolishing most things in his path.
** The legendary One-Eyed Owl is one under normal circumstances, noted for having speed, strength, and endurance beyond any other Ghoul in the series. It loses some of this speed when , but is still quick enough to dodge a lightning-based attack.
** Shachi hits devastatingly hard, moves faster than even fellow example Kaneki can follow, and is tough enough to endure his attacks without trouble. To top it all, he barely uses his kagune, relying mostly on kicks and strikes.
** Koutarou Amon is a more realistic version of the trope, due to only being human. Even so, other Investigators are shown to react in awe to his combination of strength, agility, and endurance. He's one of the few characters capable of taking on Kaneki.
** Kishou Arima takes this up to eleven considering he is just a normal human. His most notable feats include overwhelming and defeating the legendary One-Eyed Owl and also effortlessly subduing . He's not called the CCG's Death God for nothing.
** The sequel adds another one: spoiler: After being ReforgedIntoAMinion, Seidou Takizawa is shown to be incredibly strong even by Ghoul standards, incredibly fast, and able to shrug off injuries without missing a beat. Little surprise, when one considers he was made a HalfHumanHybrid through the use of Yoshimura's organs.
* Anime/Trigun:
** Vash the Stampede and Knives Millions, they're both very strong, ridiculously fast (to point of being able to FlashStep people), expert marksmen, immensely durable (both have a HealingFactor, though Vash refuses to use it out of principle). [[spoiler: Being HumanAliens Vash and Knives also have crazy abilities such as angel arms, flight and in Knives' case blades, at full-power they are able to decimate entire cites and put craters on the moon]].
** Nicholas D. Wolfwood TheLancer due to BioAugmentation from Eye of Michael has: an enhanced muscular mass providing superhuman strength (enough to wield his cross-shaped BFG), a steel-like body, a HealingFactor and enhanced speed and reflexes to point of being able to keep up with Vash.
** Among the Gung-Ho-Guns:
*** Monev the Gale, a hulking armored brute who moves distressing fast and is armed to the teeth.
*** Gray the Ninelives, two dwarves in a massive near-indestructible robot, that moves very fast.
*** Livio the Double Fang was given the same superhuman augmentation that Wolfwood got, but is twice as deadly being able to lift well over 150 kilograms, lift a steel door with one hand and catch rockets out of the air. He also moves very fast and has great agility.
* Thorkell the Tall from Manga/VinlandSaga is an enormous mountain of viking muscle who routinely performs absolutely mind-boggling feats of strength in a semi-realistic setting where even other very strong men are more in line with normal human limits. Despite his strength and bulk, he is far faster than he looks, so much so that in combat he's often only a step behind main character Thorfinn and Thorfinn's EvilCounterpart Garm, who are the most notable Fragile Speedsters in the series, are about half Thorkell's size, fight unarmored, and use light weapons while Thorkell is seldom seen without his chainmail and tends to dual wield very long axes that anyone else would need two arms to lift and swing.
* Kirinmaru from Anime/YashahimePrincessHalfDemon. Kirinmaru is possibly the topmost of this in the Inuyasha universe along with Sesshomaru, literately having every physical aspect at completely monstrous levels: The strength to casually brush off attacks just by impacting his wrist in the way, nonchalantly dominate blade-locks and catch weapons with 2 fingers, with the attackers being superhumans as well, and even dissipate a tornado and block a barrier-breaking barrage of crystal shards with a few movements of his sword, as well as clash with an equal so strong as to cause shockwaves and make the ocean rise and cause the sky to rumble. The speed and reflexes to create afterimages with casual movements, nonchalantly dodge arrows, and casually fight multiple seasoned superhuman fighters at once. And finally the durability and resilience to survive being impaled with a sword in the mid-section, hit with two super energy dragons, and then a huge flaming phoenix after being weakened, and still keep fighting at peak shape.
* Franchise/YuGiOh: The Winged Dragon of Ra is this in the manga, anime and Reshef of Destruction.
** In the manga, The Winged Dragon of Ra is the only God Card capable of attacking during the turn it is Special Summoned, unlike the other two which have to oblige to the Battle City rules, meaning that you can attack with Ra without the need of gathering three sacrifices to summon it. With its special ability "One-Turn Kill", the player can sacrifice all but 1 of their LP to boost Ra's ATK, allowing to Ra to defeat the opponent in a single turn since the effect also allows it to attack all of the opponent's monsters and the opponent directly during the Battle Phase (the player can also sacrifice their other monsters to further boost Ra's ATK). Its other ability "God Phoenix" turns it into an immortal phoenix that cannot be destroyed and it also wipes out all of the opponent's monsters (unless another God Card is used as a meat shield), all at the cost of 1000 LP. Like other God Cards, Ra is immune to most card effects, and it is also unaffected by the effects of Osiris and Obelisk because Ra is higher in the hierarchy. In the Memory World arc, Ra is the only one of the three gods capable of one-shotting Diabound, something that the other two can't hope to do.
** The anime slightly changes its manga effects; while most of its effects remain the same, Ra lacks its immunity to Osiris's and Obelisk's effects, which is why Yugi is able to defeat all three of them at once during the Ceremonial Duel against Atem (in the manga, Yugi doesn't get to face Ra). However, Ra's ability to attack immediately during the turn it is summoned has now changed, so that it can also attack during the opponent's turn and it is also capable of using God Phoenix during the opponent's turn.
** Reshef of Destruction changes Ra's effects significantly to fit into the game, but still makes it a GameBreaker. It exists in three different modes: Sphere Mode (0 ATK / 0 DEF), Battle Mode (4000 ATK / 4000 DEF), and Phoenix Mode (4000 ATK / 4000 DEF). While its Sphere Mode is virtually useless, its Battle Mode and Phoenix Mode are both very powerful from the get-go thanks to their enormous base stats. You can sacrifice almost all of your LP, so that Battle Mode can launch your sacrificed LP as effect damage onto the opponent. Phoenix Mode can wipe out all of the opponent's monsters at the cost of 1000 LP, but most notably, if Phoenix Mode is sent to the Graveyard, Battle Mode will be summoned in its stead. The game allows you to send cards from your hand to the Graveyard any time you want, meaning you are able to summon Battle Mode right from the start without tributing three monsters; you just have to discard Phoenix Mode from your hand. All God Cards (including Sphere Mode) are immune to destruction effects except for the effects of other God Cards, and they all have the Divine Attribute and therefore lack any elemental weakness. This makes it really hard to defeat the God Cards when they're on the field, and Ra is the easiest and fastest to summon if you own its Phoenix Mode.
* Yusuke Urameshi from Manga/YuYuHakusho is fast, strong and tough like hell.
** For the little we see about his fighting style, Yusuke's ancestor Raizen was this in his prime.
