[[https://www.youtube.com/user/CrazyCommentaries CrazyCommentaries]] is a co-op channel on Website/YouTube made of Youtubers [[https://www.youtube.com/user/CastleStompingJ CastleStompingJ]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/user/spike45362 spike45362]]. They are very funny in their videos with random discussions about everything, in-game hijinx, (such as the NPC's playing leapfrog), and them screwing each other over. They also like to hang lampshades on things, address the game characters directly, and randomness in general. They are really underrated, sitting at only 100 subscribers, but a surprising 100,000 views on their videos. LP's that have been done by them include:
----
* ''Snowboard Kids 2''
* ''VideoGame/MickeysSpeedwayUSA''
* ''Beetle Adventure Racing''
* ''Rugrats Scavenger Hunt''
* ''VideoGame/SuperMario64''
* Various random games from a lot of systems (Which they have marked as Let's Randomly Plays)

----
!!Provides Examples Of:

* AnachronicOrder: Episodes 37 to 44 of Super Mario 64 were recorded after the rest of the episodes due to them losing their videos and all the progress they made.
* {{Angrish}}: Jay and Spike both do this during their failed runs of flying for 8 red coins in Shifting Sand Land.
* ArchEnemy: Spike and penguins
** The both of them and [[TheComputerIsACheatingBastard the game.]]
* BigWhat: Spike is really good at this trope whenever something isn't going his way.
* BuffySpeak: During episode 45 of Super Mario 64, Spike is attempting to get the 8 red coins and remembers an area from the game "I'm in that one area we saw in the-- that other time where I was like there and I was wondering where this went"
* {{Catchphrase}}: For Spike: "What the shit-waffles" and "[[NoJustNoReaction No. Just... No.]]" whenever Jay says something bad. For Jay, it can be "OH GEEZ!"
** Spike now has "Don't you feel special." after Jay does something he's particularly proud of.
* CallBack: Jay references "No shit, Sherlock" in episode 48 (of ''Super Mario 64''), calling back to episode 24 where Spike said that and it became the title of the video.
* ClusterFBomb: Jay went into this territory during their ''Mario Party 3'' playthrough. He says "It's 4 in the morning and I'm not thinking straight"
* TheComputerIsACheatingBastard: Went into this territory during ''Mickey's Speedway USA'' when Jay and Spike were playing on the easiest difficulty and lost to the 2 computer controlled characters. What makes it even worse is the fact that Jay and Spike were both playing okay, the computer was just so much better.
** Mario Party 3 also went into this territory when Jay used the Lucky Lamp item, which promised to put down more stars in front of someone. It turns out that the one person that got those stars was [[spoiler: Daisy]]. It didn't help their case any that they had made a stupid move before the Lucky Lamp got used. [[spoiler: Daisy]] rolled an 8 and went to a big circle with a quicksand pit in the middle with a four remaining. [[note]]The Happening Spaces make the quicksand pit swallow up the spaces and anyone happening to be standing on them.[[/note]] On one side was a happening space, the other side was safety. Guess what happens next?
* DeadpanSnarker: Spike, on certain occasions.
* EpicFail: Jay dying on the first level.
** Flying for 8 Red Coins in Shifting Sand Land. It took them ''35 minutes'' to find eight red coins, which four of them were in the air and four were on the ground. To quote one of them "This seems like it shouldn't be hard at all. It's just freaking physics are screwing us"
* EvilLaugh: Spike gets a really good one in during the end of episode 26.
* FreezeFrameBonus: During episode 58 of Super Mario 64, during the intro, after the "we have earned the right to face" text, a picture of Big Show popped up and then "actually, him" and then Bowser shows up.
* FreudianSlip: Jay lets one loose during [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCJwvKI56SA part 9]] of Snowboard Kids 2.
-->'''Jay:''' Always gotta be sexing it up with the sexism jokes. I mean, [[DiggingYourselfDeeper umm...]]
* GameBreakingBug: One appeared during their Let's Randomly Play of Donald Duck: Going Quackers where the game never loaded the environment after an NPC text box, meaning Spike couldn't exit out of the dialogue.
** Another example was from Super Mario 64 episode 44, where Spike jumped in the water shortly after beginning a level and couldn't jump out, forcing him to restart the level.
* GoshDangItToHeck: Depends on the situation. If Jay is really mad, then he'll drop an F-bomb. If he's not, he'll say "Frick" and "Freak" a lot.
** They started to subvert it, as of late, with them saying more bad language. The language they use now is more equivalent to a PG-13 film.
* HollywoodToneDeaf: Both of them sing during some of the videos. They're really not that good [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPP0TUicPmI at]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCw_Iz8wfZY#t=0m56s it.]]
* JiveTurkey: Played for laughs with how painfully white Jay is. When Jay opened a video [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdtGT72-h4s like this]], it was definitely parodied.
* KarmaHoudini: The penguins. All they've got was beaten in a race and so far, they've launched the duo off a cliff, forced the two off a hard part of a race after they had enough troubles with completing it in the first place, yelled at them for taking a shortcut.
* LampshadeHanging: During [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASbe4_WU9CY part 3]] of Super Mario 64, the duo question the Lakitu brothers announcing a technique to sneak up on people to the world when there's an enemy not 20 feet from Mario that had to be listening on on that conversation.
** The first part has Spike asking "If they're brothers, why is there only one" and coming to the conclusion that the Lakitu brothers have split personality disorder.
* LargeHam: Spike entered this territory during Snowboard Kids 2 part 11 at certain points.
* LaserGuidedKarma: This example:
-->'''Spike:''' (in Schwarzenegger voice) Looks like you've been put on ice. Haha. Then Spike falls on a rock.
-->'''Jay:''' I haven't been hit by anything in this level.
-->*Spike gets pans*
-->'''Spike:''' Right. Until this.
* NoFourthWall: Both Jay and Spike will talk to the fans on occasion during their videos and if Spike has done something that would be illegal in real life, Jay would say "We here at [=CrazyComms=] waiver any liability if you do (insert action here)
** Which was subverted in episode 26 of Super Mario 64, after a new recording started with Jay saying randomly "Dead chiahuahua" Spike said "We don't see harm against chiahuahuas" only for Jay to say "We do, though, see harm against penguins"
* OrphanedPunchline: Happens sometimes in the intros where it will pick up the last sentence of what seems like a conversation between the two, then the duo will launch into their opening.
* PerfectlyCromulentWord: "shit-waffles" and "shitnanigans"
* PerformanceAnxiety: The reason why they were getting thrown about into walls and stuff in Beetle Adventure Racing. To quote Jay from part 5 "To put this game in a nutshell, we win, but when we record, we suck"
* PrecisionFStrike: Jay will get this if he's ticked off enough.
* PowerCreepPowerSeep: Both Jay and Spike get this. Jay: Awesome at racing games, utterly terrible at platformers. Spike: Awesome at platformers other than ''Super Mario 64'', terrible at party games.
* RageQuit: A variation. In the Colorado race of ''Mickey's Speedway USA'', Spike goes for half the first lap falling off edges and driving normal speed. Then he decides "Screw it" and just starts driving super slow, giving up on the race.
* RedOniBlueOni: Jay is red due to being more lively during the recordings where Spike is blue due to his tendency to just relax and snark at the game.
* RunningGag: Jay's trouble with lifts in the ''Snowboard Kids 2'' playthrough.
** Spike and penguins screwing him over, started in the ''Super Mario 64'' playthrough, and it has followed him into Snowboard Kids 2.
* ScheduleSlip: Currently in the midst of one because of a broken mike and Spike stated at one point that he wanted to get a completely new computer to do other things than n64 games.
** However, Jay has started uploading videos again, on his new account, [=CastleStompingJ=].
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Jay is getting known for how high of a pitch he can get when he screams. In the video description for their third Super Mario video, it says "Wow, no man should ever be able to go that high"
** Perhaps even topped in the 56th video, when Spike falls off a rotating platform, Jay sets a new high for examples to come. See 5:53 in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMgfQ87Oc_c this video.]] Spike afterwards says "That was full-on girl horror movie scream"
** Spike can enter this territory as well, but not quite as good as Jay.
* ShoutOut: They tend to just say random quotes from TV shows, movies, and even songs.
* SmallReferencePools: Subverted. They have referenced so many things that there will tend to be some references that people don't get.
** Case and point, Spike is heavy into rappers like MC Chris and MC Frontalot, so expect to see a lot of references to those types of songs in the videos.
** Even more so, every time they mention Tiny Huge Island, Jay calls it "Goomba Hell" as a reference to his long-deleted Super Mario World LP where goombas rained from the sky on him and he called it "the Goomba version of Hell"
** And part 5 of BAR saw references to Magic School Bus and Schoolhouse Rock
* SuckinessIsPainful: Seeing them repeatedly fail on a stage in Mario 64 can become this. Episode 44 is a great example. Them failing for ten minutes attempting to beat Koopa the Quick gets really grating on the nerves, after a while.
** Episode 47 is this, a little less so, as in you only see 13 minutes of Jay's fail, but in reality, Jay failed for a record 54 minutes. At least, they had the decency to edit that part.
* TakeThat: They don't do these often, but they do do these on occasion. One example from episode 58's intro mentions failing like the Green Lantern did at the box office.
* TemptingFate: Jay with saying that he's going through the level scot-free will usually end in Spike or the game screwing him over.
* ThrowItIn: A completely accidental example, according to Jay, happened during WWF No Mercy part 5, where there is a four-minute gap in the video when Spike gets called away. They put an annotation in the video saying that they should've edited it out, but didn't because it was a Let's Randomly Play as opposed to a Let's Play.
* ToiletHumor: Spike and his numerous uses of "shit"
* TooDumbToLive: Jay is in this territory, as well as Spike. Jay ignored Spike's advice to go get health when he was low, tried to take on Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride while knowing nothing about the courses, and even the character interpretation from Snowboard Kids 2 part 5. Spike gets this for knowing more about the game than Jay does, but he still has his moments of failure, see all the flying stages that Spike had to do, and the fact that they took the long way around getting the coins in the circles in Bob-Omb Battlefield.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Jay and Spike are this. Spike insults Jay (especially when he makes a reference to something he doesn't know or dies stupidly in a game) and Jay has attempted to fire back, but hasn't been very successful. Despite all this, they're cousins and they are usually very quick to help each other out.
** It's worth mentioning that their channel thumbnail is Beavis & Butthead, who Jay has drawn a lot of similarities to. Jay has even stated on one occasion that if they were Beavis & Butthead, he would be Beavis and Spike would be Butthead.
* VocalEvolution: Jay has gone through this, compare the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJWU0EQP73g first ever CrazyComms video]] to a [=CastleStompingJ=] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0s0TcQwmGsI video.]]
* WallBang: An example is in the first 3 minutes of the first ''VideoGame/SuperMario64'' video where Jay headbutts the wall trying to go in the door
* WordSalad: These two lapse into this very often.
** During their outros, Jay does random gibberish.
