A Canadian (former) [[LetsPlay Let's Player]] on Website/YouTube who refers to himself as The Great Clement (real name Jamie Clement), he's a bit different from the rest; where most [=LPers=] chronicle their various screw-ups and play their ineptitude and frustration up for humor, Clement focused on providing informative commentary on the game itself, including such things as the story, the level design, the characters, the game play, and so on and so forth. [[CatchPhrase But I digress]], he has a penchant for going off on weird tangents, though, and he's not above making horrible jokes when the opportunity to do so arises. He also worships Dr. Eggman from the ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' series. Most of his [=LPs=] focused on the ''Franchise/MegaMan'' and ''Sonic'' series, with occasional dabbling in ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry'', ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'', and other assorted video game series.

[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioBw_g_TA-U On January 30th, 2021]], he announced that he would be taking a break for an indeterminate amount of time so that he could focus on [[ArtEvolution upgrading his equipment for better LPs and videos]]. [[https://youtu.be/1ZmS6VG5xO4 The following April]], he announced that his hiatus was over and his upgrades were complete.

[[https://youtu.be/QNsl5TPBEIY On September 20th, 2021]], he announced that he would be moving away from [=LPs=] after his LP of ''VideoGame/SteambotChronicles'' in favor of video-essays and opinion pieces like his ''Final Fantasy'' retrospective.

----
!!Tropes expressed in The Great Clement's [=LPs=]:

* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Clement admits his younger self was like this in "How (and Why) I Got Into Gaming" regarding video games, losing all interest in anything else upon seeing a new game he hadn't played yet, to the point of not wanting to do anything else on a family trip to Marineland Canada upon spotting an arcade that wasn't featured in commercials.
* BerserkButton:
** He's not too fond of the missions in ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' where you have to kill every enemy in the level and must backtrack if you miss even one.
** Do NOT defend ''Sonic '06'' in front of him. Or acknowledge that it's bad, but suggest that there are worse Sonic games. Or think that he only feels this way about it because of the glitches.
** While he's willing to defend ''Lost World'' on the Wii U, the 3DS version is basically one long stream of frustrating levels after Windy Hill, ''especially'' Frozen Factory Act 3.
* BigNo: In his ''Mega Man 3: The Wily Wars'' LP, upon reaching the Wily 2 Boss, Clement did this after realizing that the boss was the Yellow Devil MK-II. Repeated (in a sense) during his ''Mega Man X5'' LP, where Clement went into a rant on how he left the Classic series behind after he performed this trope upon reaching the Shadow Devil. Later, during the ''Sonic 06'' Review Finale, Clement did this again after losing all his lives in the final segment of the End Of The World stage.
** Before this when he dies from a cheaply-placed hazard in the otherwise easy Sonic Man race. He also claimed to have screamed this off-camera when he found out that his game over in Kingdom Valley would force him back through [[LoadsAndLoadsOfLoading Three Trials of Soleanna]] because the game doesn't autosave, and joined in with Shadow's (who belts these out whenever he falls into BottomlessPits) when an [[invoked]][[ObviousBeta invisible wall]] stops him over a pit.
** At the end of ''Shadow the Hedgehog'''s The Doom, he gives two of these in sheer disbelief that people could claim to like the game.
** You can expect a Big No from Clement whenever he encounters [[ThatOneBoss the Yellow Devil]].
** He gives one in ''Mega Man Zero 2'' when [[BigBad Elpizo]] destroys X's original body and frees the Dark Elf.
* BigWhat: He gives one in part 7 of ''Sonic Forces'' when Amy informs everyone that 80% of the Resistance's forces have been wiped out.
* BrokenTears: PlayedForLaughs at the beginning of his ''Sonic Genesis'' video, where Clement breaks down and cries when he realizes he's been LP'ing ''Sonic'' games for over two and a half years.
-->'''Clement:''' In reality, it's just a port of the original ''Sonic the Hedgehog'', the original classic game that started the series off, the first ''Sonic'' LP I did back on February 6th, 2010! ...Wow! I've being doing ''Sonic'' games since February 6th, 2010. ''[[[{{Beat}} pauses]], then cries]''
* CallBack: In "Clement Remembers ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIIRemake''", most of Clement's dialogue in the game's synopsis is lifted verbatim from, is similar to, or references points and jokes made in the ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'' video's set-up (fitting the game's status as a VideoGameRemake of the first half of Disc 1). Of note is the point after the second bombing mission where Cloud falls into the church and onto a bed of flowers; in both videos, "[[VideoGame/{{Undertale}} Fallen Down]]" plays as Aerith stands over him.
* CatchPhrase: He's got several, including...
** "Aloha! It is I, the Great Clement." - upon starting an LP.
** "But I digress..." - after wrapping up one of his many oddball ramblings.
** "Until then, toodles." - after completing an LP.
** "[[RunningGag I hate that game]]." - referring to ''Mega Man X6'' while not playing it.
*** "I hate this game." - referring to ''Mega Man X6'' while playing it.
** "[[RunningGag Fuck that game]]." - referring to ''Sonic '06''.
** "Uhh… AWizardDidIt!" - when trying to explain an odd happening, such as how a dragon managed to trap citizens in crystal.
** Similarly, in his collaborations with WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries, "[[MST3KMantra It's a video game!]]" whenever somebody starts overanalyzing things that don't make any sense when you apply real world logic to the game.
** "[[WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfSonicTheHedgehog And that's no good!]]", usually during his Sonic [=LPs=].
** "Oh [character], [[Series/SaturdayNightLive you ignorant slut!]]", when poking fun at someone saying something foolish.
* ChallengeGamer: Clement's a veteran at the ''Mega Man'' series, so he tends to make it look easy. [[NintendoHard It's not]], as he doesn't hesitate to point out.
** Perhaps as a result of this, Caro points out in the ''Sonic Mania Plus'' LP that the stages he made for ''VideoGame/SuperMarioMaker2'' are ''much'' harder than normal, to the point that it took her an hour and a half to beat ''one''.
* ClusterFBomb: He lets out a series of "What the fuck?!"s when ''Final Fantasy VII Remake'' reveals that [[spoiler:[[BigBad Sephiroth]] is the FinalBoss (of a game that adapts the story of the first half of ''Final Fantasy VII'''s first disc of three; Sephiroth was originally first seen in person via flashback right after the point where ''Remake'' ends and was only truly fought as the final boss in his [[OneWingedAngel Bizarro and Safer]] forms)]].
* CriticalBacklash[[invoked]]: Clement sees ''Sonic Labyrinth'' and ''Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric'' as just mediocre, and doesn't believe they deserve their reputation as some of the worst ''Sonic'' games.
* DeadpanSnarker: He loves to point out when the characters are being idiots. In particular, he ''never'' stops making fun of how ''helpless'' the Resistance would be without the titular character of the ''Mega Man Zero'' series, nor does he allow Knuckles to [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten live down]] his moments of extreme gullibility.
** He goes on a small tangent in part 9 of the ''Fear Effect'' LP:
--> '''Clement:''' ...by the way, Hell has good cell phone reception, doesn't it? ''[laughs]'' I mean, yeah, there's all this horrific imagery with hanging corpses and everything, but... damn, Verizon! You-you got your shit going here, y'know? Does this place have free wi-fi? That'd be awesome! Oh, you're in Hell, but hey, free wi-fi! Can't go wrong with that.
* DeliberateVHSQuality: Justified at the time of recording the ''Mega Man 9'' [=LP=]. Clement didn't have access to digital video capture equipment for the task, so the game was captured on a Platform/{{VCR}}. It was received positively by viewers due to the game itself being a {{Retraux}} throwback to the [=NES=] era of ''Mega Man''.
* DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment: Lampshaded in his ''Sonic Rivals 2'' LP:
--> '''Clement:''' All of the returning modes return... ''[realizes what he said, chuckling]'' "All of the returning modes return"... I am so good at commentary!
* DrinkingGame[[invoked]]: Done exclusively with ''Super Meat Boy'', where he would take a shot of cherry whiskey every time he died. [[spoiler:[[PlatformHell He only made it to Chapter 3]] [[HeroicRROD before he was totally wasted and couldn't continue.]] He finished the rest of the game (without the imposed challenge) once he recovered.]]
* DrowningMySorrows: He starts drinking cherry whiskey during the ''Sonic 06'' review because he'd run out of pills to control his SanitySlippage.
* DullSurprise: At times.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Back when he first started, Clement played a lot of [[TheProblemWithLicensedGames crappy licensed games]] and a bunch of others instead of favorites like Sonic or Mega Man. His voice also used to be a lot more calmer and he didn't have any live-action segments.
** He used to regularly feature a Dr. Eggman plush doll in his videos that talked with him ([[ActingForTwo and was voiced by him]]), to the point of having two separate RunningGags centered around it, before it was quietly phased out. As he explained in his 10 Year Retrospective video, he included it as a joke that [[CloudCuckoolander he wasn't all there]], as seen when the doll talks to him in his ''Sonic '06'' review once he starts undergoing SanitySlippage. He still has the doll, but as of that video, he's officially retired it.
* EpicFail:
** In [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=XyiGA2MrH20#t=801s Part 9]] of ''Sonic Adventure 2'', Clement, who was trying to A rank every level, dies near the end of Eternal Engine, thus resetting his score to 0 and getting an E rank.
** During the ''Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X'' LP, Clement dies to Chill Penguin, which is worse than Johnny nearly dying to Storm Eagle in the [[WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries BrainScratchComms]] playthrough of ''Mega Man X'' or Ryan dying to Toad Man. Later, during the Vile playthrough, Clement dies to Chill Penguin... AGAIN. However, all of this is topped by Clement dying to Storm Eagle. [[WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries BrainScratchComms]] said it best in the comments.
-->'''Ted:''' You died? To him? ...It's Storm Eagle, Clement!
** Clement later dies to Spark Mandrill during the boss rush of the Vile playthrough.
** In his ''Sonic the Hedgehog 2'' LP, he dies to the Egg Mobile-D. Yes, [[WarmUpBoss the painfully easy boss]] of Emerald Hill Zone.
* EvilLaugh: Goes into one after beating all of Johnny's records. Can overlap with LaughingMad.
** He pulls another impressive one while showing off the [[InfinityPlusOneSword Shining Laser]] in ''Mega Man Legends''.
* {{Fanboy}}: Of the ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' series, without a doubt. He also is a big fan of ''Franchise/MegaMan'', ''Franchise/FinalFantasy'', and ''VideoGame/PanelDePon''.
** He's also this towards Dr. Eggman of the former franchise.
* GuestStarPartyMember: Of WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries, usually for ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' games.
* HopeSpot: During his ''Sonic '06'' review, he brings up one level of the game he claims to like, which is Sonic's Tropical Jungle level with Elise. He looks like he's enjoying it... until a spring he bounces to glitches and fails to launch Sonic, causing him to lose a life and rage.
* {{Irony}}: His favorite ''Super Smash Bros.'' character (before 3DS/Wii U) is [[spoiler:Mario.]]
* IdenticalStranger: Creator/NoahAntwiler could be Clement's brother.
* ImplausibleDeniability: During the ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' LP, he spends the entirety of [[ThatOneLevel The Doom]] ranting about how terrible the already tedious missions are in the level's labyrinthine structure, and [[WeAreExperiencingTechnicalDifficulties loses his shit]] at the end of the Dark mission when complaining about a glitch that extends the time any unwitting player will spend stuck on the level. After all this, he claims that he's not actually angry.
* InsistentTerminology:
** [[VideoGame/MegaManZero4 Fenri Lunaedge]] is "Not [[VideoGame/MegaManX6 Blizzard Wolfang]]".
** He adamantly does '''not''' consider ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog'' a SpinOff, since it has the same basic gameplay as other ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' 3D platformers (just with guns and vehicles) and resolves plot points from ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure2'' and ''VideoGame/SonicHeroes''.
* LargeHam: Not during his [=LPs=], but when he's on camera, he pulls no punches.
* LastNameBasis: Rarely is he ever called Jamie; the Brainscratch Crew always calls him Clement.
* LaughingMad: Twice in the ''Sonic 06'' review. The first was after learning the lack of autosave means dying in Wave Ocean forces him to start at the very beginning of the game, and the second is when he dies in [[ThatOneLevel End of the World]] and has to go through the entire Last Story again. Both are followed by a scream.
* LetsPlay: His channel mostly consists of these.
* MadnessMakeover: He undergoes SanitySlippage throughout his seven-part review of ''Sonic '06'', his hair becoming more wild as the review progresses.
* MSTing: Clement [=MSTs=] the "Day Of Sigma" short included with ''Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X''.
* MellowFellow: Clement is noted for being a relatively quiet yet cheerful fellow, which makes his Let's Plays very pleasant to listen to.
* NiceGuy: He's a pretty friendly dude.
* NostalgiaFilter: During the ''Pac-Man World'' [=LP=], he admits this might be the reason he likes the original ''Fear Effect'' and ''Pac-Man World'' more than their sequels.
* NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer: Clement has to say this in regards to [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII Lightning]] becoming a model for fashion brand Louis Vuitton.
* TheOneThingIDontHateAboutYou: Admits that for all his vitriolic hatred of ''Mega Man X6'' and ''Sonic 06'', they do have great soundtracks.
* OriginsEpisode: "How (and Why) I Got Into Gaming" details Clement's childhood and adolescence, and how he grew up with and developed a love for video games.
* OutOfCharacterMoment: During his playthrough of Guts Man's scenario in ''Mega Man Powered Up'', he briefly stops to call bullshit when Wily claims that he has no use for Guts Man, considering how many times Wily has used either Guts Man himself or weapons based on his appearance throughout the Classic series.
* PublicDomainSoundtrack: Clement fast-forwards the BossRush part of ''Mega Man 2'' to the tune of "Maple Leaf Rag" by Scott Joplin.
* PurelyAestheticGender: He specifically notes, in his extra video of ''Mega Man ZX'' on Aile, that she and Vent essentially play the exact same way and with the same story, save some slight playable, dialogue and side-quest differences, along with changes in where their story focuses: Vent on the [[VideoGame/MegaManZero backstory]] and Aile on the [[VideoGame/MegaManZX potential future]].
* ReviewIronicEcho: This moment at the end of "Clement Reviews Sonic 06! (Part 2)":
-->'''Clement:''' And now, Miles "Tails" Prower reviews ''Sonic 06''!\
'''Tails:''' This is terrible!
* RootingForTheEmpire[[invoked]]: Clement roots for the Eggman Empire specifically during his ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' LP, and in one stage where you can choose to side with either the Black Arms or Dr. Eggman, he's reluctant to show the Dark mission which involves blowing up Eggman's fleet.
* RuleThirtyFour: During the ''Sonic 3 & Knuckles'' playthrough, he learned of the echidna's ExoticEquipment:
-->'''Clement:''' So yeah, Knuckles has four penises. I want fanart of that, dammit! ''[chuckles]''
* RunningGag: Again, he's got several...
** He repeatedly screws up the name of the "Sniper Joe" {{mook}}s from the ''Mega Man'' series. So far, he's called them Cotton-Eyed Joes, Pink-Eyed Joes, and Bazooka Joes, among many other things. (He [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]] this at a couple of points, too; he actually knows what their name is, but gets it wrong anyways just to be funny.)
** He frequently uses SarcasmMode, such as when he comes across [[ScrappyMechanic Yoku Blocks]] in a ''Mega Man'' game:
-->'''Clement:''' And it's those disappearing-reappearing blocks that I love oh so very much.
** The clip of Knuckles the Echidna shouting "SHUT UP!" is used ''frequently'' during the LP of ''Sonic 3 & Knuckles'' (or whenever he calls Knuckles stupid or dumb in future [=LPs=]). This gag also popped up in WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries' LP of Sonic '06 in which Clement is a guest commentator.
*** This gag also plays out in his LP of the X-Files game where he has the player character, Agent Craig Willmore, say "Shut up!" instead of Knuckles whenever Clement insults him.
** At the end of his Sonic [=LPs=], a Dr. Eggman plush exclaiming "Son of a bitch!" and occasionally going into a quick rant. [[spoiler:Subverted at the end of the ''Sonic Heroes'' playthrough, where Clement explains that he's still running from Team Chaotix (since [[BrickJoke he didn't pay them]]). Also subverted in ''Riders'', as he claims the carpet he gained makes his home cozy, making it a success.]]
** In his Sonic [=LPs=], the Eggman plush announces the name of any boss, stage, or vehicle beginning with "Egg".
** He's also started adding Vile's freakout about X's Charge Shot.
** In ''Shadow the Hedgehog'', yelling "CHAOS CONTROL!" at the top of his lungs whenever he uses said ability.
*** Appears again in ''Sonic and the Black Knight'' when he plays as Sir Lancelot.
** In his LP of ''Sonic and the Secret Rings'', Clement will always exclaim "Make beliefs reborn!" upon returning to the menu after completing a mission.
** In his LP of ''The X-Files Game'', Clement tends to show his badge to everyone he meets, even though he knows the responses are all the same. He's stunned when he shows it to a hobo and the man actually takes it.
** His LP of the MMPR Movie game has him intentionally refer to it by [[FullNameBasis its full title]], "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers The Movie: The Game - Featuring Ivan Ooze" whenever he brings it up.
*** Similarly, in ''The Hobbit (2003)'', he refers to each of the dwarves in Bilbo's group by name whenever he mentions them.
** In the ''Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X'' LP, Clement's higher amount of Epic Fails, such as dying to Chill Penguin as X, dying to Chill Penguin AGAIN as Vile, and dying to Storm Eagle as Vile.
** He has a habit of calling big, dangerous attacks, weapons, or enemies "this big 'fuck you!' [X]".
*** [=BrainScratch=] also adopted this from him and added "Fuck me light" for [[AttackItsWeakPoint any blatantly obvious target point on a boss]] (such as [[VideoGame/SonicHeroes Metal Sonic]] having a glowing panel on the side [[ColorCodedForYourConvenience with the same color as the class you're meant to attack him with]]).
** Any time he [[INeedAFreakingDrink drinks alcohol]], it's usually in the form of cherry whiskey.
* SanitySlippage: After failing to best Johnny at City Escape, Act 1 in ''Sonic Generations''. Probably playing it up for the camera, but it's still very creepy.
** Goes completely off the edge in part 1 of his ''Sonic '06'' review where he lost all of his lives in Wave Ocean (mostly from the game killing him with glitches) and then sees the opening cutscene play again and realizing that the game did not save at all (''Sonic '06'' does not have autosave). Knowing that he has to do everything all over again, including the required introductory town missions full of LoadsAndLoadsOfLoading, he [[LaughingMad breaks into laughter]] before spilling over into rage.
*** Throughout the ''Sonic 06'' review, Clement gets worse and worse, until he's finally [[TheScream screaming at the top of his lungs]] on the finale.
-->'''Clement: [[MadnessMantra STILL.]]''' '''''[[MadnessMantra LOADING!]]'''''
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: While Clement managed to complete all of ''VideoGame/GalGun Returns'', he stops playing ''Gal*Gun: Double Peace'' and ''Gal*Gun 2'' due to coming across something in both games that [[EveryoneHasStandards he becomes disgusted with]] due to UnfortunateImplications (in the former, [[spoiler:the Sisters route that sees Houdai getting with both Shinobu and Maya, due to the latter's [[PaedoHunt young appearance]] and Houdai seemingly [[{{Brainwashed}} brainwashing]] [[KissMeImVirtual them into accepting with the Doki-Doki Field]] after they rejected him]]; in the latter, [[spoiler:a DLC outfit that covers the girls in bubbles with a pacifier in their mouth]]).
* ShoutOut: During his ''Shadow the Hedgehog'' LP, a reference to Creator/{{Egoraptor}}'s ''Awesome Chaotix'' is made, in regards to Charmy Bee being the hero side ally of the Prison Island level.
* SoBadItsGood[[invoked]]: He considers ''VideoGame/BigRigsOverTheRoadRacing'' to be this. Even though he admitted that it was ''technically'' worse than ''Sonic '06'', the fact that it never frustrated him like the latter did is what prevents him from ranking the game lower in his eyes.
* SoOkayItsAverage[[invoked]]: His opinion on ''Sonic Labyrinth'' and the ''Sonic Rivals'' games.
* {{Squee}}: When he heard that Mega Man will be in ''Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U'', he audibly squees.
** According to him, he also had this reaction when Sonic was revealed for ''Super Smash Bros Brawl''.
* {{Squick}}[[invoked]]: Reacts this way to many of Brentilda's [[TooMuchInformation Gruntilda secrets]], but especially when he finds out that her party trick [[spoiler:is performing a scary striptease.]]
* SurprisinglyImprovedSequel[[invoked]]: Clement's overall opinion of ''Final Fantasy XIII-2'' is that, while it's not a great game, it addresses many of the criticisms of ''XIII'', and pleasantly surprised him, as he'd set his expectations low following the previous game.
* TakeThat: He once made a video that gave a pretty interesting TakeThat to some people in the ''Mega Man'' fanbase and the Capcom fanbase in general, namely to their reactions to the cancelled ''Mega Man'' games and their claims that Capcom is ruined. In a nutshell, he accused them of having a sense of entitlement while also going into the difficulties in making games, the possibility of ''Mega Man'' being a niche market, and the good stuff that has come out of Capcom. Unfortunately, he has since removed it from [=YouTube=].
** Gives one to [[WebVideo/SomeCallMeJohnny Johnny]] for losing to Storm Eagle in his WebVideo/BrainScratchCommentaries run of ''Mega Man X'' in part 3 of his ''Maverick Hunter X'' LP.
-->'''Clement''': I've never had a problem with Storm Eagle because Storm Eagle is really predictable and easy to beat. And if anyone else got beaten by Storm Eagle... ''[EvilLaugh]'' Sorry! I don't know where that came from.
** Ironically enough, Clement later loses to Chill Penguin ''twice'' before dying to Storm Eagle.
* TakeThatAudience: In Clement's video review on ''[[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog1 Sonic]] [[PortingDisaster Genesis]]'', he explains the reason it took so long to get a video of the game uploaded was because the slowdown from said game was so bad that it took forever to get all the footage he needed. Clement then ends the aside by [[FlippingTheBird giving viewers the middle finger]] and telling them "Also, go [[PrecisionFStrike fuck]] yourselves!" for all the complaining and accusations that he was purposely delaying the review of the game.
** At the end of his ''Sonic 3D Blast'' LP, he mercilessly insults the viewers who prefer the Saturn version of the game over the Genesis version, to the point of telling them to unsubscribe. He apologized for this in his ''Sonic 4 Episode I'' LP.
-->'''Clement:''' Oh, shit! I just invalidated everything you believed in! I'm such a douchebag! ''[starts LaughingMad]'' I'M SUCH A PRICK!
* ThatCameOutWrong: All the innuendos in his ''Mister Mosquito'' LP, ''especially'' during the bathroom level.
--> '''Clement:''' Look, we're a mosquito, okay? [[DiggingYourselfDeeper We just want to stick our tiny little prick into this 17-year-old girl!]]
* [[TrademarkFavoriteFood Trademark Favourite]] VideoGame: ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2''. His LP of it consisted largely of him saying variations on the phrase "I love this game!"
* TruerToTheText: He praises ''Final Fantasy VII Remake'' for being faithful to the characters' original personalities, in contrast to previous works in the ''Franchise/CompilationOfFinalFantasyVII'', which he felt displayed inaccurate characterizations (pointing out that in Cloud's case, it completely ignored his CharacterDevelopment from the original game).
* VerbalTic: He has a habit of chuckling during and after humorous asides, something he lampshades in his [[RecapEpisode 10 Year Retrospective video]].
* WaxingLyrical: During part 7 of his ''Sonic 06'' review, after [[spoiler:Mephiles kills Sonic]]:
--> '''Clement:''' [[spoiler:Sonic is dead]]! He was [[Music/BonJovi shot through the heart, and Sonic Team's to blame. Princess Elise, you give love a bad name.]]
* WeAreExperiencingTechnicalDifficulties: Happens twice during [[ThatOneLevel The Doom]] in ''Shadow the Hedgehog'', though he really wasn't getting any angrier than his rant throughout the rest of the level.
** Part 1 of the ''Sonic '06'' review ends with Clement LaughingMad before a scream of undiluted fury when he learns that he has to start the game ''from the very beginning'' when he dies in Wave Ocean's [[ScrappyMechanic Mach Speed Zone]]. The following screen tells the viewer to go to Part 2 while Clement deals with "temporary insanity".
** After one too many annoying time restrictions and sidequests in ''VideoGame/LightningReturnsFinalFantasyXIII'', Clement lets out a BigNo cut off by one of these featuring a Fat Chocobo. When he returns, Clement remarks that [[INeedAFreakingDrink he's broken out the cherry whiskey]].
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have to Be the Yellow Devil?]]: Absolutely fears the Yellow Devil and all Devil robot series.
