Most cartoons may be made for families, but there is no denying the fact that some cartoon characters can be [[{{Jerkass}} complete assholes]].

[[folder:A-C]]
* ''WesternAnimation/ActionLeagueNow'': All of the main characters, really. A big part of what makes them so ineffective at being superheroes is that they're not only hideously incompetent, they're also cowardly and lazy, and would prefer to half-ass and/or sit back and watch people get hurt rather than risk their necks or do a real job of it.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfFigaroPho'':
** The MonsterClown whose pranks are flat-out abusive.
** The "doctor" who keeps a penguin strapped up in his truck, and uses its spit to make "medicine", which he charges a fortune for.
** ThoseTwoGuys in the episode "Waltergeist", where they have [[NewJobAsThePlotDemands become]] ghost-hunters. After catching the ghost, they refuse to leave Figaro's house, instead eating his food and trying to kick ''him'' out.
* ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'' is a show filled with jerks. Their levels of jerkassery, however, ranges like a spectrum, from "completely evil jerkass" to "sympathetic JerkassWoobie:"
** Magic Man, Xergiok, and the Tree Witch. Magic Man inflicts BodyHorror galore on innocent people and turns a bird inside-out, Xergiok spends most of his time SPANKING his subjects, and the Tree Witch actually tries to suck the protagonist Jake into her ass. (MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext).
** Lemongrab isn't evil--just maladjusted [[spoiler:(or at least, before [[MoralEventHorizon "Too Old"]])]] but he [[LackOfEmpathy doesn't empathize with people easily]], and he sends everybody to the dungeon for a million years [[FelonyMisdemeanor for the pettiest of offences]].
** Oddly enough, the other jerkasses have been developed further as well. Upon his banishment and losing his eyes, Xergiok reinvented himself and became a peace-loving friend of the birds. He briefly went back to his old, spanking ways before realizing that his bird friends were being hurt in the process. Xergiok ultimately decided to stay on the side of good. Magic Man, while still a jerkass, apparently went evil after losing [[LoveMakesYouEvil the love of his life]]. Lemongrab redeemed himself after Bubblegum created Lemongrab 2, finally having someone who understood him. Then ''both'' Lemongrabs tried to use the Candy Kingdom [[ItMakesSenseInContext to create more lemon people.]] After that mess cleared up, it looked like all the lemon people would stay on the straight and narrow... [[spoiler:before Lemongrab 1 became more and more corrupt until he goes full on dictator on the lemon people. Even Lemongrab 2 ends up being ''eaten alive.'']]
** On the [[GoodIsNotNice hero side of the spectrum]], Lumpy Space Princess is more often a loud selfish ignorant foul-mouthed teenage girl stereotype than not.
* ''WesternAnimation/AdventuresOfTheGummiBears'': Gruffi is mean to all the characters in different variations. He mistreats Zummi because he's old and/or [[MagicMisfire clumsy using magic]] (even though his spells save the day more than once), he insults Grammi's cooking in her face and at least once because she's a woman/housewife, he opposes basically every idea any of the cubs have with no other reason that they are kids, he mistreats Tummi because he's fat or because he's very measured and childish for his age and considers his love for boats a waste of time to the point of once ''trying to chop down'' the boat that Tummi made until Tummi begs him not to, he mistreats Gusto for the opposite; for being too hasty and considering him useless for being an artist and often call his works garbage, and is by far the [[FantasticRacism most prejudiced toward humans]]. At some point Gruffi turns into a plot device for the other characters to feel bad about themselves at the beginning of the episode and then having their own self-esteem restore when they accomplish something and prove him wrong; in other words, he's an obstacle for the rest of the characters to surpass. You have to wonder why they keep him around. Though in his defense [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he does show remorse for his actions sometimes.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'':
** Tina Rex is a ''Tyrannosaurus rex'' and is the school's nightmare. However, she [[TookALevelInKindness becomes a better person in season 4]].
** Tina's father Mr. Rex is even worse than her, as Mr. Rex is a monster because he [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk does not care about others at all]], but Tina Rex is only a monster because she is treated like one.
** Jamie Russo is [[EvilerThanThou even worse than Tina Rex]]. She misunderstands everything as if they were an insult against her, has a HairTriggerTemper that led her to beat up several people (including [[BumblingDad Richard Watterson]]), and only stops being an asshole when her mother (the school's coach) walks by (and said mother became the coach in the first place in order to keep Jamie in check).
* ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDad'':
** [[Characters/AmericanDadStanSmith Stan Smith]] is a ''huge'' jerkass right from the get-go. Among Stan's crueler [[EvilPlan schemes]] include framing his wife for murder so she wouldn't tell him "I told you so", turning an atheist neighbor's life into a living hell all to get him to convert to Christianity, concocting an elaborate revenge plan against a car salesman, which results in the family almost going broke (and Hayley being forced into prostitution to get money for them) and evicting the entirety of the neighborhood so they wouldn't make fun of him.
** [[Characters/AmericanDadRogerSmith Roger Smith]] enacts plans to severely traumatize people or destroy their lives, [[DisproportionateRetribution for the most trivial reasons or infractions]], [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty only occasionally being punished for it]]. In fact his LackOfEmpathy is played to such extremes that when he first cared for someone more than himself the trauma caused [[FunnySchizophrenia a split personality to develop]] (said personality being far more sympathetic than his own). Roger may get extra notice for this trope since while Stan and Hayley are at least in their own mindset [[WellIntentionedExtremist working for a greater good and actually helping others by enforcing their viewpoints onto them]], Roger is rather consistently committing callous acts [[ItsAllAboutMe for his own self-gain]] or sometimes [[ItAmusedMe simply for the amusement of it all]]. DependingOnTheWriter his actions can lean him more into FauxAffablyEvil territory. In the episode "Frannie 911" [[FreudianExcuse it's revealed]] [[LiteralMetaphor that it actually would]] ''[[LiteralMetaphor kill]]'' [[LiteralMetaphor him to be nice]]. His species has to let their "bitchiness" out on a frequent basis, otherwise their health declines dramatically and their bodies shrivel and die.
** Ricky Spanish, [[MultiplePersonalities a persona of his]] so vile that ''[[EvenEvilHasStandards Roger]]'' [[TheDreaded fears him]].
** Steve's [[AsianRudeness Japanese]] friend Toshi, to a lesser extent than some of the others on this show. He's always insulting Steve to his face, but is too cowardly to say it in a language Steve can actually ''understand'', so [[FunWithForeignLanguages he automatically assumes he's complimenting him.]] [[WithFriendsLikeThese On more than one occasion he's gone as far as having expressed a desire to kill Steve]], but presumably hangs out with him for the sake of convenience considering that [[UngratefulBastard nobody else would be willing to put up with his refusal to speak English]].
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'': The show has more than its fair share of these, being a pastiche of ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes''. However, many one-off villains were huge jerks, so the Warners, Slappy Squirrel, and the writers could do whatever they wanted without being or feeling like the villains, such as Daniel Boone in "Frontier Slappy", who goes to WesternAnimation/{{Wile E Coyote|and the Roadrunner}} lengths to evict Slappy from her tree in order to cut it down for the front door of a log cabin. "Daniel Boone was a great big jerk, yeees, a stupid jeeerk! He had another dumb plan that more than likely wouldn't work."
* ''WesternAnimation/AquaTeenHungerForce'':
** Master Shake seems to become more and more of a horse's ass every week, though it could just be a result of him being a {{Cloudcuckoolander}}. He spends most of his screen time tormenting Meatwad ForTheEvulz.
** Carl, the Aqua Teens' next-door neighbor, is quite hostile and cold-hearted to everyone he meets, and he belittles women who aren't "his type", exhibiting his chauvinism in the process. However, he's practically a NiceGuy compared to Shake, in that Carl doesn't spend a majority of his screen time tormenting innocent people ForTheEvulz. It's also heavily implied that his reason for being a jerk is a result of the Aqua Teens' never-ending antics (e.g. invading his pool and car frequently without prior consent) as well as his abusive childhood.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Archer}}'':
** [[Characters/ArcherSterlingArcher Sterling Archer]] is a perfect example of this, as he is completely unrepentant, self-centered and rude to every other character on the show.
** Malory Archer's Jerkass tendencies range from enjoying watching her son be electrocuted in the pilot, to being proud that six pigmies died cutting down an endangered tree to make her a fancy coffee table. Oh, and she also murdered a cleaning crew for forming a union.
--->'''Mallory:''' ''[after an elevator audibly crashes]'' How's that for bread and roses?
** Edie, Pam's sister, may be one of the biggest examples for WesternAnimation. Imagine a female version of [[WesternAnimation/SouthPark Eric Cartman]]... She is, believe it or not, far more nasty and vile, to the point halfway through her ''sole'' episode she begins running out of insults and has trouble coming up with hurtful things to say.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Arthur}}'': D.W.'s Cousin Cora from the episode "[[Recap/ArthurS1E25DWThinksBigArthurCleansUp D.W. Thinks Big]]" makes D.W. look like a saint in comparison. She's a SpoiledBrat who constantly bullies D.W. by taking her personal belongings away, takes D.W.'s bed for herself while making her sleep on the floor, and [[NeverMyFault gets her blamed for something that was her own fault]]. She was [[DeliberatelyBadExample deliberately written like this to make D.W. seem good in comparison]].
%% ** Muffy, DependingOnTheWriter, can also qualify by virtue of being an AlphaBitch.
* ''WesternAnimation/AsToldByGinger'':
** BetaBitch Miranda. While her friend Courtney genuinely means well, Miranda goes out of her way to lure the protagonist and her friends into embarrassing, horrible situations, and to steal the protagonist's love interests for herself seemingly just to spite her.
** Mipsy is even ''worse'' than Miranda. Not only does she put on a ''pretense'' of politeness when Miranda doesn't, she has actively slandered other people before, even knowing they would get suspension or expulsion.
** Joanne Bishop. Her biggest offense is probably badmouthing Carl in front of Ginger, then lashing out at Ginger when she defends her brother.
* ''WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender'':
** [[Characters/AvatarTheLastAirbenderFireLordOzai Fire Lord Ozai]] is easily the biggest jerk on the show. He's a genocidal, tyrannical bully who has no problem [[AbusiveParents manipulating and abusing his two children]], especially [[TheUnfavorite Zuko]]. And while he prefers [[DaddysLittleVillain Azula]], he never gave her any real love and is the main influence for Azula's cruelty.
** Zhao is an insufferable SmugSnake who taunts someone in the cruelest ways possible in each of his appearances. Oh, and [[spoiler:he [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu killed the moon]]]]. [[AssholeVictim Guess what happens]] no less than [[KarmicDeath five minutes later]]...
** Hahn of the Northern Water Tribe an incompetent GloryHound who is only interested in the Northern Water Tribe Princess, Yue, for the political perks.
* ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries'': Detective Bullock seems rough around the edges, and his main claim to fame is merely distrusting Batman. Then he gets his DayInTheLimelight episode "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE2ABulletForBullock A Bullet for Bullock]]" and spends it proving that he's nothing short of an ''asshole''. A reporter offers him help figuring out who tried to kill him, but has work to do and asks him to wait a half hour before she shows him whatever he needs to see. Bullock decides to [[KickTheDog break into her office and dig through the files like a burglar]] instead of just waiting like he agreed to. It's even because of his obnoxious behaviour (and not, as he thinks, by simply being a cop) that his life gets targeted ([[spoiler:his landlord can't stand him anymore]]), but he gains some sympathy by being genuinely thankful to Batman for saving his life despite his strong dislike for him. So yeah, it's hard to earn his respect, but if you do, he's at least tolerable: just ask Montoya, Gordon, and his daughter, who he is [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold downright nice to]].
* ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButtHead'':
** [[Characters/BeavisAndButtHeadTitularCharacters The title characters]] are obnoxious jerks who like to cause chaos and mischief [[ItAmusedMe for their own amusement]]. Special mention to Butt-Head, who consistently torments and abuses Beavis.
** [[DrillSergeantNasty Coach Buzzcut]] is a SadistTeacher who likes to threaten his students with violence. He even once demanded his class to beat up a new transfer student.
** Todd is a high-school dropout who spends most of his time beating up people and threatening them for their money.
** Muddy and Dallas Grimes are two criminals who try to use Beavis and Butthead to blow up the White House.
** Principal [=McVicker=] often goes beyond reason when dealing with troubled students such as sending death threats. He even fired [[ReasonableAuthorityFigure Mr. Van Dreissen]] when he tried to report him to the schoolboard district for filling in Beavis' standardized test for him to cheat them for a pension.
** The Crazy Old Farmer, who tried to kill Beavis and Butthead [[DisproportionateRetribution just for trespassing on his lawn]].
** Harry Sachz is an ill-tempered man with a history of crime and violence.
* ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers'':
** Jimmy Pesto, Bob's business rival and the owner of a pizzeria where his food is subpar at best. He's not really shown to have any redeeming qualities. Along with antagonizing Bob, he is generally shown to be a bad person. In fact in "The Oeder Games", he was still considering throwing a balloon at Bob (doing so would hike up the latter's rent by $50) and had to be forced by the mob to stop.
** Hugo, the health inspector, never misses an opportunity to make Bob's life difficult, either by nitpicking every slight mistake Bob makes, or just being plain rude. Hugo's feelings for Linda cause him to constantly antagonize Bob even when he's done nothing to him (and didn't even know who he was until the pilot episode). And even if his decisions can cause Linda to suffer as well, he doesn't care.
* ''WesternAnimation/BobbysWorld'':
** Bobby's older brother Derek is a sarcastic asshole who often picks on Bobby, calls him names, and scares him most of the times. While Derek does have his PetTheDog moments, he's mostly a grade-A jerk who would even go as far to ditch Bobby.
** Gordon in "Misery Loves Company" is surprisingly an even bigger one, as while Bobby is shown spending the night at the former's house, he blames Bobby for his own mistakes, compels him to draw him a picture under a threat, and even puts candy in his hair while he's asleep. Unlike Derek, there is ''nothing'' redeemable about Gordon.
* Sergeant Grating from ''WesternAnimation/{{Bonkers}}'' is often unjustifiably mean towards the title character. It is especially notable in "Do Toons Dream of Animated Sheep?", where it is implied that he regularly dreams about Bonkers getting killed, and in "Quibbling Rivalry", where he's delighted by Miranda Wright's sister's slanderous news reports about Bonkers because they give him an excuse to fire him.
* Quite a few characters in ''WesternAnimation/TheBoondocks'', especially [[BoomerangBigot Uncle Ruckus]].
* Just about everyone in ''WesternAnimation/{{Brickleberry}}'' is an asshole who is [[ItsAllAboutMe only concerned with their own interests]], the sole exceptions being Ethel (when she is sober) and Connie.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Bubsy}}'': In the animated pilot episode based off of the video game series, the title character is an arrogant, obnoxious jerk who nearly brings about TheEndOfTheWorldAsWeKnowIt through his carelessness. In the games, he is merely a wisecracking do-gooder.
* ''WesternAnimation/ButtUglyMartians'': Dr. Brady Hacksaw [[FantasticRacism is obsessed with dissecting aliens with absolutely no regard for the fact that they are sentient beings]]. He also tends to be dismissive and rude to other human beings.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheBuzzOnMaggie'':
** Dawn is an AlphaBitch with zero redeeming qualities whatsoever, and basically the female version of [[JerkJock Aldrin]] (and even he has a [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold deep-down heart of gold]]). She's a stuck-up, spoiled, snooty, boastful RichBitch who frequently harasses and belittles Maggie and Rayna for their lack of popularity, tries to get them in trouble, and overall is too caught up in embracing her popularity to care about how offensive she is to others. Luckily, the show makes her suffer some form of LaserGuidedKarma in most episodes.
** There's also Lacey Ladybug from the episode "Ladybugged", who, like Dawn, is a stuck-up AlphaBitch, and could rival the latter when it comes to bitchiness. She [[FantasticRacism discriminates against flies for their eccentricities and tries to turn them into ladybugs]]. [[spoiler: Luckily, LaserGuidedKarma hit her at the end of the episode by revealing that her claims of living a rich, luxurious lifestyle were a lie, and she never appears again.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/CampLazlo'':
** Edward. He is a pessimistic, arrogant, and short-tempered fellow, who unlike most grumpy ButtMonkey characters openly goes out to torment other campers (usually Lazlo, Samson, or the Squirrel Scouts). [[FreudianExcuse Some episodes imply though that this bullying is caused by how his]] [[BigBrotherBully older brothers]] [[FreudianExcuse do this to him on a regular basis]].
** Scoutmaster Lumpus. He is apathetic to the [[SummerCampy camp's poor conditions]], [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]], {{Greed}}y, and downright mean to the Bean Scouts. Several episodes have shown that the only reason why he likes being scoutmaster is because of the power. Once again, he is also the show's [[AssholeVictim primary]] ButtMonkey.
* ''WesternAnimation/Castlevania2017'': Everything the Bishop says is either hypocrisy, cruelty, or self-deluded arrogant prattling. He enjoys throwing his weight around, smirking as he gloats about how much he controls the people through his church. "I will be the church..." indeed.
* ''WesternAnimation/CatDog'':
** The Greasers are a [[GangOfBullies trio of bullies]] who constantly pick on [=CatDog=] [[ForTheEvulz for no reason]].
** Rancid Rabbit is [[SmugSnake a smug bastard]]. One of the worst cases of his misbehavior was in "The House of [=CatDog=]", where he attempts to tear down their house to make room for a freeway in spite of their protests and is implied to have done the same to his mother and grandmother.
** [=CatDog=]'s roommate Winslow is often an extremely obnoxious prick to [=CatDog=]. Examples of him being a dick include scaring the two out of their own home in "The Pet" as well as selling Cat's personal belongings while the brothers were stranded on an island, puts down Cat and Dog at any opportunity he'll get so they won't search for their parents in TheMovie, and hanging up on Cat when he calls him for help on the phone in "The Island".
** Tallulah Headbank is a [[RichBitch very rich...but also]] ''[[RichBitch very]]'' [[RichBitch mean]] person. Really, with all the hate and abuse she dishes out on Cat whenever he's around her, you'd think he would've given up on her by now.
* ''WesternAnimation/ChalkZone'': Reggie Bullnerd and Mr. Wilter. The former is a [[TheBully bully]] who picks on Rudy and always tries to steal his chalk (who also acts like he's smarter than he really is), while the latter is a no-nonsense SadistTeacher who hates his students showing creative expression.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheClevelandShow'': Rallo is a jerk to his older stepbrother, Cleveland Jr., often tormenting him occasionally. Cleveland, while not as bad as Peter or Stan, has acted like more of a self-serving jerk in this show, while Roberta is a BrattyTeenageDaughter. Donna is also a bitch, and not really much of an improvement from Loretta, Cleveland's previous wife.
* ''WesternAnimation/CodeMonkeys'': Dave, Todd, and Mr. Larrity. Dave is a messy, rude, irresponsible pervert who's [[TheStoner constantly stoned]] and it's a real wonder that Jerry is still willing to associate himself with the guy. Todd is a mixture between a Jerkass and SmallNameBigEgo. Mr. Larrity is a [[AxCrazy maniacal]], [[{{Greed}} money-hungry]], nutjob who would think nothing of selling his own employees to further his own twisted ambitions.
* ''WesternAnimation/CourageTheCowardlyDog'':
** [[GrumpyOldMan Eustace]] is curmudgeonly and spiteful to everyone, [[JerkassToOne especially Courage]]. His jerkishness is made humorous by the fact that he is also TheChewToy.
** [[InsufferableGenius Di Lung]], the reoccuring Asian guy. The things that he does when he gets "main/major villain" roles in episodes make even Eustace seem like an absolute ''saint'' when compared to him ([[HumanSacrifice removing Muriel's bones]] and [[LaughingMad psychotically laughing]] while doing so, attempting to Main/ColonyDrop a satellite onto Courage's house just for the Hell of it, [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals performing utterly horrific mutation experiments on Courage and using Mecha-Courage to beat the poor dog quite-nearly to]] ''[[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals death]]'', [[EvilIsPetty kicking Courage into a gastrointestinal sewer just for the Hell of it]]...need we go on?).
** [[AbusiveParents Eustace's mother]] treats Eustace the same way Eustace treats Courage, and favors his more successful brother, [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter Horst]] over him who's just as mean-spirited as her.
** [[SerialKiller Katz]] is a sadistic cat who sends people to their deaths for no reason other than he gets joy from it.
** [[BitchInSheepsClothing The Precious Lovable Adorable Ducking]], who abuses everyone but Eustace who he thinks is his mother while acting nice when Muriel is around.
** [[DomesticAbuse Mad Dog]] is a realistic portrayal of a domestic abuser who threatens his girlfriend Bunny if she even thinks about her best friend Kitty.
** [[GreaterScopeVillain The doctor from the final episode]] was the worst of them all, as he sent Courage's parents to space when he was just a puppy.
* ''WesternAnimation/CowAndChicken'':
** Chicken is quite a Jerkass; he even once refused to take a a bath and caused his family a lot of discomfort from not being able to use what is apparently their only bathroom, grinning as he sits and lays back listening to their cries to hurry up. (When was the last time you had the really really really need to use the bathroom and were a bit away from one? It's really a horrible feeling.)
** The Red Guy, who spends most of his time harassing Cow and Chicken, and also Baboon and Weasel. One of his most notable moments is in the episode, "Dirty Laundry" where he forces Chicken to spread lies about the others, such as putting rats in the school lunch, and giving Flem and Earl female middle names, which he knows is illegal, but does it anyways with no regard for what happens to them. Given [[{{Satan}} who he is]], this is to be expected.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheCrampTwins'':
** Wayne Cramp is one of ''the'' biggest ones in the show. He's always in a bad mood, is always causing trouble, and makes [[TheBully bullying other kids]], [[JerkassToOne especially his twin brother Lucien]], his main hobby. And if you happen to be on his hate list (which is pretty long), he'll give you an insulting nickname to boot! And you have to remember he is technically the [[VillainProtagonist secondary main character]].
** Dorothy Cramp may not be as big a jerk as her son but she is such an obsessive NeatFreak she's even willing to kick her own family out of the house if they dirty it too much. Not to mention, like Wayne, she always seems to be in a sour mood.
** Wendy Winkle is a SpoiledBrat and an AlphaBitch rolled into one. She loves to bully other people and use her father's money to get what she wants whenever she wants. It's no wonder she's always after Wayne's affection considering she's basically a female version of him.
** Her father, Mr. Winkle, isn't as bad as she is but he's a CorruptCorporateExecutive that loves to re-brand perviously failed products into new ones (even if they caused physical and environmental damage). Not to mention his treatment of Mr. Cramp is downright abusive.
** However, the BIGGEST jerk in the show hands down is Brick. Wayne may love to bully other kids as well but he tends to do it via pranks and only gets physical if someone messed with him first. Brick on the other hand ''assaults children'' for shits and giggles! You'll think his bullying of Wayne will be a massive LaserGuidedKarma for him (even Lucien thought so) but seeing Wayne genuinely afraid like that is enough for [[SympathyForTheDevil the viewer and even Lucien to feel bad for him]]. You know you're a jerk when even ''Wendy Winkle'' finds you that annoying!
* ''WesternAnimation/TheCrumpets'':
** Li'l One, a talking baby who is hostile to Pa because they both strive for Ma's love. Sometimes he tries having his siblings eliminated too for the same goal. For instance, in one episode he brought his whole family to a game show where losers are thrown to the moon and there will only be two winners.
** Granny, a 112-year-old woman who is very {{Greed}}y. She misuses or steals items to auction online [[ItsAllAboutMe for her personal benefit]]. Her quests for money can be pretty wicked, such as hiding her son to ransom her family for money, and causing a substance abuse crisis affecting her grandchildren and neighbor.
** Caprice is a terrible one too. She is [[HairTriggerTemper easily angry]], gets fame from the internet doing inhumane acts on herself or her siblings, mean-spirited to animals at heart, and can resort to theft for her romantic goals[[note]]In two different examples, it's the TV Weather Girl's phone in hopes of meeting her celebrity boyfriend, and a poem written by Cassandra intended for her crush (and Caprice's brother) Pfff[[/note]]. She isn't [[DependingOnTheWriter always malicious]], but that doesn't stop the show from making her a huge ButtMonkey.
** The twins Bother and Blister are perhaps the bottom ones out of the Crumpets. They set off explosives and enjoy bullying or deceiving other people. They enjoy [[BigBrotherBully abusing their younger brother Ohoh]] and their dog T-Bone.
** Cassandra veers to Jerkass territory when she tries to halt her crush Pfff from reaching his own crush the TV Weather Girl. Once, she disguised herself as Pfff (who was having an internship on the weather station) and denied any relationship to the Weather Girl in a bid to break them up.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:D-L]]
* ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'': The quintessential JerkJock Dash Baxter. His preferred hobby is harassing Danny, and he often goes out of his way to make Danny's life hell. While he's aware that this would lead him to failure as an adult, he reasons that it's worth it just to spite Danny and his friends.
%% ** Vlad is sometimes this.
%% ** Dark Danny is the worst one in the series.
* ''WesternAnimation/DanVs'': Dan, [[FunTShirt to a point where he even has the word "jerk" written on the front of his shirt.]] Most of the time, the targets of his vengeance are even worse jerks, so much so that Dan looks ''[[HeroicComedicSociopath heroic]]'' in comparison, but sometimes they're innocent people who accidentally set him off, and he makes no distinction between the two.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Daria}}'':
** Ms. Janet Barch, in spite of a FreudianExcuse, is one of the biggest jerks on the show. HairTriggerTemper, aggressive personality and [[DoesNotLikeMen male gender discrimination]].
** Ms. Li [[MeanBoss treats her employees very, very badly]] and isn't much better to the students. She has zero positive qualities and is about as corrupt as one could get.
** Anthony De Martino constantly assaults verbally, and occasionally physically, his students, [[JerkassToOne especially Kevin]].
** Sandi, who spends her time trying to humiliate Quinn and belittle Stacey. Sandi and her mother are the only characters who are intentionally mean to those around them without provocation who are smart enough to understand what they are doing.
** Tommy Sherman is a JerkJock who is absolutely full of himself, acting patronizing to Mack, insulting Kevin's physique compared to his own, and asking Brittany to come back to his hotel room and "get horizontal" literally 30 seconds after meeting her. He believes his achievements on the football field give him a right to do this.
** Quinn becomes this sometimes, but she is more inclined to be a JerkWithAHeartOfGold, mainly in the final season.
%% ** Jake's father ("Mad Dog") is the worst one.
* ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' has the Trollbetoots from "Koosalagoopagoop". The other inhabitants of the Land of Koos were justifiably angry at Koosy punching the king and kissing the queen, even if Dee Dee was making him do those things against his wishes, and were nice enough to accept Koosy's apology, but the Trollbetoots have no clear reason to be mean to Koosy and are just a bunch of bullies.
* ''WesternAnimation/DuckDodgers'': The titular character is a major jerk, aided by the fact that he's "played by WesternAnimation/DaffyDuck". Moments of jerkassery include: In the episode "The Queen is Wild", the Martian Queen, jilted by Dodgers on what was to be their wedding night, and now seeking her vengeance, has Dodgers's damaged ship in her sights and could finish him off in that instant. However, she still has feelings for him, and hesitates. Rather than use this affection to mend fences, Dodgers has his ship swing around and cripple hers. In another episode, Dodgers is said to have sold the Cadet's sister to a sausage factory.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Doug}}'':
** Roger Klotz in both the Nickelodeon and Disney versions. Roger started out as a stock bully, but by the end of the Nickelodeon series he seemed to be one of Doug's friends, albeit a selfish and irritating friend.
** [[DeanBitterman Mr. Bone]] fits this trope but mostly because he often has to deal with the student body since Principal Buttsavitch is rarely seen.
** [[MayorPain Mayor Bob White]] is one as well. He does little to help the community with their problems and instead has, at times, polluted the city with fliers to vote for him, gotten the media to portray Porkchop as a vicious dog, when he was just trying to keep Bebe away from the thin ice, and [[DisproportionateRetribution gotten a teacher fired because they didn't vote for his son Willie.]]
** Mr. Bone's nephew, Percy Femur, is probably the worst one on the show. While Roger is an obnoxious bully, Percy is a sadistic brute who gets a lot of joy out of bullying As Doug’s narration puts it:
--->'''Doug:''' "The more I saw, the more I didn’t like. Maybe Roger can be annoying, but Mr. Bone's nephew was just plain mean."
* ''WesternAnimation/DrawnTogether'': The entire cast has {{jerkass}} tendencies, especially Captain Hero and Clara. That being said, the characters are really no worse than the reality television 'stars' they parody.
* ''WesternAnimation/DungeonsAndDragons1983'': Eric spent most of the series wavering between {{jerkass}} and JerkWithAHeartOfGold. He frequently got the team into trouble through his whining and attempts to become the leader. He once left them entirely to marry a beautiful queen, though he came back eventually... but only after learning his bride-to-be was really a hideous monster in disguise. At the same time, he was the only character to successfully guilt trip DungeonMaster over his gratuitously enigmatic ways, and at some point he was fully ready to make a HeroicSacrifice to send his friends home and battle [[BigBad Venger]].
* ''WesternAnimation/EdEddNEddy'':
** Eddy is arrogant, scams his peers, is full of himself and likes to think that he's better than everyone else on the show, and fans wonder why him and his friends get the living shit beaten out of them sometimes. It is revealed in TheMovie that Eddy's jerkish behavior is all just an act since he thought that acting like his brother would make him look cool to all the other kids. In the end, Eddy realizes that being a jerkass was what was keeping him from being popular and tearfully laments that he'll never learn his lesson.
** Kevin is the JerkJock who always insults the title characters. In one episode he finds out Eddy's middle name after finding his wallet and threatens to tell the other kids, but promises to not tell if Eddy does everything he says. Eddy does so. Kevin tells them anyway, and his "excuse" is "Oops! [[BlatantLies I forgot!]]" He also is frequently a prick to the other characters, most notably Jonny 2x4 and Jimmy.
** Ed's little sister Sarah is a violent, manipulative BrattyHalfPint that frequently abuses her brother physically and verbally on a scale only slightly lower than what [[spoiler: Eddy suffers from his brother]].
** The Kankers love to bully and force-kiss the Eds and [[KarmaHoudini rarely get punished for their actions]].
** The worst of them is [[spoiler: Eddy's brother. He beats down on his own brother and Double D in a manner that makes the cul-de-sac kids and the freaking Kankers feel disgusted. And he proudly admits that he has always beaten up Eddy his entire life.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove'': Kuzco starts out as one but [[TookALevelInKindness gradually gets better]]. He suffers something of a relapse in the spin-off TV series, ''WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewSchool''.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'':
** Vicky. She's a [[BabysitterFromHell mean, evil babysitter]] who only acts [[BitchInSheepsClothing nice around adults]] (except her parents, [[AbusiveOffspring whom she abuses as much as she does Timmy and Tootie]]). She takes sadistic pleasure in torturing Timmy and her [[BigBrotherBully little sister]] [[StalkerWithACrush Tootie]]. Her bullying is so bad that Timmy was declared the most miserable kid on Earth. Her FreudianExcuse doesn't cut it either.
** Denzel Crocker is a SadistTeacher who takes great pleasure in giving Timmy F's regardless of how well the latter does his work, even taking it up to eleven by giving him a ''Super F''. Let's not even get started on his obsession of hunting fairies.
** Francis, the school bully who routinely beats up the other kids, his primary target being Timmy.
** Tad and Chad, the two popular guys, always pick on people who aren't like them.
** Cupid, who organizes a Scavenger Hunt to trick people into doing his own shopping.
** [[JerkassGenie Norm the Genie]], who always makes wishes backfire on purpose, and [[MaliciousMisnaming gives insulting nicknames to people]], including his masters.
** Timmy himself takes this up in later seasons as a result of {{Flanderization}}, where a lot of his wishes are based on his own selfish desires. Especially in Season 10; he was [[TookALevelInKindness Taking a Level in Kindness]] until then, where most episodes require him to act like one to serve as Chloe's {{Foil}}.
* ''WesternAnimation/FinalSpace'':
** [[Characters/FinalSpaceTheTeamSquad Clarence]]. He's a selfish, greedy and racist little man who places Gary in indentured servitude and creates numerous scams. He even uses his adoptive children Ash and Fox as gadgets for the crimes he commits. It ends with him getting abandoned by the Team Squad after he [[spoiler:betrays them and he injures Fox in a way which almost kills him]], and the next time we see him in Season 3, he's at the bottom of a bottle and filled with regret.
** The [[Characters/FinalSpaceTheLordCommandersForces Lord Commander]] is such a huge, sociopathic asshole that merely calling him a Jerkass would be a huge understatement. Gary even calls him a jerk face in an episode recap.
** The Lord Commander's henchman Viro. He treats Little Cato terribly as his prisoner and mocks him about his father.
** According to Bolo, [[Characters/FinalSpaceCelestialEntities Oreskis]] was a "frickin' dickbag" even before Invictus poisoned his mind -- he seduced Bolo's first love Jill and gave her a Titan STD.
** Quinn's little sister [[Characters/FinalSpaceTheInfinityGuard Avery]]. Quinn's memories in Season 3 indicate Avery was bratty, immature and reckless with a superiority complex to hide feelings of inadequacy in her attempts to match up to Quinn's performance, and she didn't mature out of this at all as an adult. What really makes Avery this trope is that after she almost drowned as a child as a direct result of ''her own actions'' in her attempt to outdo Quinn at an exercise amid a storm, she was completely baleful to Quinn as if it was Quinn's fault when Quinn was being nothing but concerned and relieved that Avery was alright. All TearJerker from Quinn's voice actress's excellent performance aside, it's easy to feel when Avery's death is shown that it's Avery's own fault.
* ''WesternAnimation/FishHooks'' has a few:
** First there's school bully and JerkJock Jocktopus who ruthlessly torments everyone for the fun of it.
** Randy Pincherson is a narcissistic, greedy RichBastard who persistently brags to his fellow classmates about his wealth and rubs it in their face.
* ''WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends'':
** Bloo, who becomes a bigger jerk each week, though he seemed to be leveling off at the end. However, in a subversion, it is explained that the others (or at least, the management) only put up with this because they have an obligation to, and are frequently glad to be rid of him. In the official comic-strips, he's at least a bit less jerky and more lovable in general. As in the pilot TV-movie. The TV movie (where Wilt is trying to find his original creator) implies that the "negative" aspects of the imaginary friends are an unconscious SecretTestOfCharacter for their kids: Wilt's ExtremeDoormat-ness encouraged his boy to be a better sportsman while Eduardo's meekness made his girl -- a future policewoman who dreamed him up to be ''her'' protector -- be more courageous. Thus, Bloo's Jerkassness shows Mac how ''not'' to treat [[strike: his friends]] everybody.
** Mac's [[BigBrotherBully older brother Terrance]], who makes his little brother's life hell, oftentimes for no reason.
** Duchess is very thankless, demanding, and arrogant, wanting everything her way.
** Bendy is the worst. He's a huge jerk who makes Bloo and his friends lives a living hell, and he [[KarmaHoudini doesn't get punished]] for his actions or lying to Frankie and Mr. Herriman (although, since he didn't appear in any more episodes, it can be implied that he was sent away to be deported sometime afterwards offscreen).
* ''WesternAnimation/FredTheCaveman'': Fred is dumb, rude, selfish, and cruel. Is it any wonder why Emma won't give him "kissy kissy"?
* Beef, the alien JerkJock from ''WesternAnimation/GalaxyHigh'', is the meanest character. He frequently picks on Doyle and very rarely has any redeeming qualities.
* ''WesternAnimation/GoofTroop'': Pete. His hobbies include screwing over his neighbor -- including taking credit for things his neighbor did and getting his neighbor in trouble for things he did -- taking away everything he can get his hands on from all the people around him, acting like he's ungrateful for his wife whether he is or not, being rude and insulting to everyone except usually his daughter and sometimes his wife, scamming people out of their money at his HonestJohnsDealership, [[ConsummateLiar lying to people]] in order to [[ManipulativeBastard get them to do his bidding]], being a {{Hypocrite}}, and [[AbusiveParents deliberately mistreating his son in myriad ways]] including but not limited to treating him (and occasionally his friend, too) like a slave. This is what is done with his character in a series where the setting means he can't be a "villain" in the traditional sense.
* ''WesternAnimation/GlitchTechs'': Oh big time. Mitch repeatedly used the mind-wipe technology to get food without paying, is shown to care more about winning than caring about the victims of Glitch attacks, as seen when Five's friend was infected by a Possessor type glitch, mind-wiped Five because Five beat him in the tournament, and repeatedly performs a KillSteal by capturing Glitches that Miko and Five have already weakened. Not even his own teammates can stand him.
* Coach Cadaver from ''WesternAnimation/GravedaleHigh'' often talks down to the main characters and especially has it in for their teacher Max Schneider [[FantasticRacism for being the only human teacher at the school]].
* ''WesternAnimation/GravityFalls'':
** The Northwest family, Gravity Falls' wealthiest bloodline and one that built their home and family foundation on lying, cheating, and stealing. They teach it to their children and commemorate their evil deeds in painting form. Pacifica is ([[TookALevelInKindness eventually]]) the only exception to the rule.
** [[BigBad Bill Cipher]] is without question the biggest Jerkass in the show. Not only is he a [[AxCrazy depraved, sadistic psychopath]], he often cracks [[EvilHasABadSenseOfHumor dark jokes;]] [[DudeNotFunny many of which come at the expense of others]].
* ''WesternAnimation/TheGrimAdventuresOfBillyAndMandy'':
** Mandy is an outright VillainProtagonist who constantly belittles Billy and Grim, her supposed "best friends", and treats them like her slaves. In one episode, where Billy and Grim put the cursed Mask of the Beast on her in an attempt to force her to be nice to them, it's shown that even trying to do the simplest of nice things for someone is nearly impossible for Mandy, to the extent that she finds it physically difficult just to say "please."
** Mindy, the school's local AlphaBitch, constantly torments Mandy in a verbal manner (in fact, her catchphrase is "LOSER!") and taking it all in stride. Thankfully, she's also one of the show's regular victims of whatever supernatural power is at hand in the episode.
** The Boogeyman is a major example of this. [[LackOfEmpathy Empathy seems to be a foreign concept to this guy]], as he's an unpleasant, [[DirtyCoward cowardly]] piece of work towards everyone, most notably Grim. He's also a JadedWashout who never really grew up, claims that he's the scariest thing alive, yet even kids aren't afraid of him. The times where [[ButtMonkey he suffered misfortune]], [[AssholeVictim he 100% deserves]] [[LaserGuidedKarma every bit of it]].
** Dracula, who [[DeadpanSnarker rarely goes without a snarky moment]]. He also EatsBabies and is rather selfish, [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk ditching Grim when it seems that he would pay a bill for their meal]].
** Nigel Planter, a [[Franchise/HarryPotter Harry Potter]] {{Expy}}, at least in his first appearance. He took credit for Mandy's idea, and was a mean-spirited prankster. It's for this reason why Toadblatt hated him. [[TookALevelInKindness He gets better later on]].
** Jack O'Lantern is a ''very'' mean-spirited prankster, more so than the aforementioned Nigel. He plays terrible tricks towards others and doesn't care who gets hurt in the process.
** Bun-Bun, the true BigBad from WesternAnimation/{{Underfist}}, has no problem hurting and scaring people and also admits to being responsible for Hoss Delgado's hatred of monsters, Mindy becoming a witch, Billy being afraid of spiders, and Fred Fredburger losing his tusks.
* Trina from ''WesternAnimation/{{Grojband}}'' definitely fits into this category. She's selfish, violent, narcissistic, and ill-tempered. She constantly belittles and abuses her best friend Mina, as well as her brother Corey and his band, and will do anything to get her crush Nick Mallory to fall in love with her -- up to an including allowing aliens to destroy Earth in the GrandFinale!
* Adam from ''WesternAnimation/HazbinHotel'' thinks being the first man makes him the coolest person ever, even though he's more like the worst stereotype of a man, and that now [[TautologicalTemplar being an angel means he's morally superior]], even though he regards massacring damned souls as entertainment.
* ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnold'':
** Iggy was a huge jerk to Arnold for refusing to accept Arnold's apology for having everything go wrong and holding a grudge for months, and later having Arnold humiliate himself so he can be off the hook.
** The biggest one on the show is Curly, who's constantly stalking his crush, Rhonda, and causing all sorts of chaos [[ItAmusedMe for his amusement]]. Not to mention his vengeful streak ([[DisproportionateRetribution he once pulled the fire alarm and framed Eugene for it just because he chewed his pencil]]).
** Wolfgang and [[OneShotCharacter Ludwig]] are [[TheBully bullies]] who beat up the fourth graders and lack any redeeming qualities whatsoever, unlike [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Harold or Helga]]. They also WouldHitAGirl, as shown by the fact that they treat Helga no different than any of the other fourth graders.
* ''WesternAnimation/HotelTransylvaniaTheSeries'': Mavis' cousin Klaus, who smugly gloats every time he beats his cousin at something and wastes no opportunity in putting her down.
* ''WesternAnimation/HouseOfMouse'': Mortimer Mouse has always been a total douchebag in all Mickey Mouse cartoons that feature him. His jerkassery is especially notable in the Mickey [=MouseWorks=] shorts. ''WesternAnimation/HouseOfMouse'' reused a lot of those shorts in between the show's framing device of Mickey and his friends running an entertainment club. Mortimer pretty much devotes all his time to trying to make Mickey look like a fool and attempting to get into Minnie's pants even though she is clearly only in love with Mickey. In fact, the [=MouseWorks=] short "Mickey's Rival Returns" had him make the dick move of convincing Minnie that Mickey only sees her as a trophy, while the ''House of Mouse'' episode "Mickey and the Culture Clash" had him manipulate Mickey and Minnie into breaking up and nearly succeeding.
* ''WesternAnimation/InvaderZim'', being a BlackComedy riddled with ComedicSociopathy, naturally has several examples:
** The Almighty Tallest are both huge jerkasses, who sent Zim to Earth in hopes that he'd simply die along the way.
** [[Characters/InvaderZimZim Zim]] himself isn't exactly the nicest guy, either. He refuses to admit when he's wrong, has a very short temper and [[ItMakesSenseInContext and once used rubber piggies to kill]] [[HeroAntagonist Dib]]. [[LaughablyEvil This doesn't make him any less entertaining to watch]].
** Gaz, who beats up Dib for perceived slights (particularly later on in the series). Many episodes show her performing heroic actions, [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk but mostly for selfish reasons]].
** Pretty much everyone at the Skool. [[KidsAreCruel The kids show nothing but hostility towards Zim and Dib]] (though they seem to hate Dib more), and the teacher [[SadistTeacher Ms. Bitters]] isn't any friendlier, showing complete disdain for ''everyone'' (and again, especially Zim and Dib).
--->'''Ms. Bitters:''' Children, your performance was miserable. Your parents will all receive phone calls instructing them to love you less now.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Jem}}'':
** Eric Raymond is a CorruptCorporateExecutive who tries every underhanded tactic he can to prevent Jem and the Holograms from beating him and the Misfits, even if his methods put people's lives at risk.
** Eric Raymond's lackey Zipper is little more than a thug with no redeeming qualities.
** Every member of the Misfits except [[TokenGoodTeammate Stormer]] is a [[ItsAllAboutMe self-centered bitch]] willing to do whatever they can to sabotage Jem and the Holograms.
** Clash is a complete egomaniac who always tries to upstage her cousin Video and is also prone to making things hard for Jem and the Holograms.
** The Stingers are all [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative jerks]] who take great pleasure in using people to get what they want and casting them aside when they're no longer needed.
* ''WesternAnimation/JimmyTwoShoes'':
** The Weavils are an [[AlwaysChaoticEvil entire race]] of completely obnoxious [[WickedWeasel weasel-like creatures]] who enjoy screwing around with the main characters. Even Lucius thinks their awful creatures, and he's supposed to be {{Satan}}!
** [[TheCaligula Lucius Heinous VII]], a megalomaniacal sadist whose sworn duty and passion in life to make everyone in Miseryville, well, miserable. While he doesn't do as good of a job as he prides himself (thanks to Jimmy), he manages to carry [[EvilIsPetty his cruelty into his private life]], particularly towards his son Beezy and his toady Samy. He's also constantly [[ButtMonkey harmed and humiliated]] though, so he's [[TheDevilIsALoser kinda pathetic at the same time]].
** Lucius' father Lucius Heinous VI is eviler than his son. He wouldn't even give his son cake on his birthday and flooded the entire city [[ItAmusedMe for fun]] when he got unfrozen for the first time in years.
** Beezy can be this sometimes, [[TookALevelInJerkass especially in Season 2]]. His hedonistic attitude means that he can be very [[ItsAllAboutMe selfish]], obnoxious, and [[LackOfEmpathy uncaring towards others]] when he decides to put [[ItAmusedMe his own personal amusement]] before others' feelings or well-being.
* ''WesternAnimation/JusticeLeague'': Aquaman takes his role as King of Atlantis very seriously to the point of all out xenophobia, such as torpedoing a U.S. Navy submarine and being perfectly willing to let its crew drown. He gets better with some help from the Justice League, but he's still very much a jerk.
* ''WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest'': it's hard not to list a character that isn't a complete jerk.
** The eponymous Johnny Test, especially after season o1, is selfish, rude, bratty, smug, manipulative, and narcissistic, just to name a few.
** His sisters Susan and Mary count as well, being smug geniuses, and always using their brother as a guinea pig for their life-threatening experiments, never even caring if he survives their tests or not.
** Hugh Test, the patriarch of the house, is by far the worst the show has to offer, especially from season 3 onward. He's cruel, [[TheScrooge cheap]], [[AbusiveParents abusive, and would ground his kids for life at the drop of a hat]], often for no reason whatsoever.
* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam'':
** In most episodes, June can be one of these. She's usually bossy, demanding, and pretty nasty to Henry AKA ''her best friend''.
** The monkey from the "Prometheus and Bob" shorts who messes around with the titular duo and ruins the lessons for no reason other than [[ItAmusedMe he thinks it's funny]].
%%** Same with [[WesternAnimation/StickinAround Stacy Stickler]].
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Kaeloo}}'':
** [[CatsAreMean Mr. Cat]] is a complete jerk to everyone, even to his friends (though there are [[AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther moments where he does care for them]]). Examples of jerkassery include setting a building on fire with two of his best friends inside, writing a mean anonymous letter to Kaeloo which brings her to tears and [[ItMakesSenseInContext sending Quack Quack to Hell]] [[ForTheEvulz for no reason]].
** [[AlphaBitch Pretty]] also counts as one, until her HeelFaceTurn in season 5. She spends half an episode torturing Kaeloo, who is overly conscious about her body, by making fun of her looks. When Stumpy [[SecurityCling jumps into her arms]] after he thinks he saw a rattlesnake, she throws him on the floor and wipes her feet on him. And she rejoices when the main four are presumed dead in one episode.
** Olaf. He's domineering and authoritative, he laughs at others' misfortunes and, in his own words, he "[[HatesEveryoneEqually hates everybody]]".
** Stumpy, especially in the second and third seasons, is willing to hurt other people [[ItAmusedMe just for his own amusement]].
** Cramoisie spends every waking minute harassing someone or the other and trying to find new ways to insult people for no reason at all, [[JerkassToOne especially her sister Violasse]].
* ''WesternAnimation/KingOfTheHill'': Not as many as in ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'', but there's still a lot of them nonetheless:
** Most notably Hank's racist Laotian neighbor, Khan, who just wants to show up Hank, and Hank's racist, misogynist father, Cotton, who outright refused to tell his son he loved him. [[spoiler: Even on his deathbed.]] To be fair to Khan, there are times that he shows that he isn't a complete Jerkass. Cotton is certainly the worse one. Kahn is also revealed to be bipolar, making him more of a JerkassWoobie.
** Peggy [[SmallNameBigEgo believes herself to be superior to everyone she knows in every way]], and uses it as an excuse to talk down to, insult and generally be a total bitch to everyone around her. Almost everyone she meets outside the main cast quickly grow to dislike her and within the main cast it is heavily implied, if not outright stated, that they don't like her and only associate with her due to living right by her or by proxy of Hank. Dale has bluntly stated he hates her, Bill is in love with her (he is shown to have masochistic tendencies), and Boomhauer is never actually shown speaking to her. When involved in a competition that she will likely lose, rather than admit defeat she will almost always make sure that everyone loses (regardless of how unlikely she is to win from the get go) or lie, backstab, {{blackmail}} or use any other unethical or illegal means to give herself the win.
** Dale counts for his belligerent heckling of his friends, among other things.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheLegendOfKorra'':
** Tarrlok is cruel, [[ManipulativeBastard manipulative]] and [[spoiler:uses his bloodbending to capture Korra and put her in a box.]]
** Tahno is an [[JerkJock arrogant pro-bending champion]] who [[spoiler: cheats his way to victory in the pro-bending final.]]
** Unalaq is Korra's EvilUncle who even goes as far as to complain about the lack of spirituality and lie about it during a festival held in his honor. [[spoiler: And he even betrays his loyal comrades to his mortal enemies.]]
%% * Tim's Boss in ''WesternAnimation/TheLifeAndTimesOfTim''.
* ''Franchise/LiloAndStitch'': The local AlphaBitch Mertle goes out of her way to make fun of Lilo and exclude her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:M-R]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMagicSchoolBus'': Arnold's cousin Janet. In the few episodes she appears in, she nearly gets the class stuck in space, turns the whole class against Phoebe, uses her cousin for personal gain, sabotages a class project, purposefully buys a star just so Dorothy-Ann can't get it, and nearly destroys a swamp. She's also just a generally mean person.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMarvelousMisadventuresOfFlapjack'':
** K'nuckles counts. He is basically a washed up sailor who is often self-absorbed and gives out bad advice to Flapjack. He's willing to cause a mermaid's health to deteriorate just to get to candied island and push people off ladders before Low Tides day.
** Bubbie also counts as well. She frequently yells and berates K'nuckles even at times when he does not deserve it as he's often Flapjack's whipping boy due to her biased belief that Flapjack is an angel who can do no wrong. One episode even revealed that she swallowed a lady named Ruth whole due to loving her pies and this forced Ruth to stay in Bubbie's stomach until old age. Bubbie also told Flapjack that spying is wrong yet she was hypocritically doing it herself.
** Peppermint Larry became one through {{Flanderization}}, becoming more selfish and childish in the process.
** Dock Hag. She loves giving out tickets towards Flapjack and K'nuckles [[DisproportionateRetribution even for minor offenses]] and was seen laughing at them while doing it and she often insults them, although K'nuckles is a favorite victim of hers [[LovingBully due to the fact that she has a crush on him]].
** Most of the people of Stormalong Harbor are this. Many of them are {{pirate}}s who act savagely and deal out DisproportionateRetribution.
* ''WesternAnimation/MegasXLR'': Jamie has all of two PetTheDog moments in the entire series. It is often implied that he brings absolutely nothing to the table in his friendship with Coop, and that he has no skills of his own, yet despite that he is a jerk with a superiority complex who insults his comrades, hits on women, and schemes for his own profit.
* A good amount of ''WesternAnimation/{{Metalocalypse}}'' characters are, well, Jerkasses. One of the worst is the family of Pickles. They prefer their deadbeat con-artist older son over their more successful (as in fixing the economy successful) son. They [[KarmaHoudini almost never got any comeuppance]], well, except for when Pickles told Molly (his mother) to go fuck herself.
%% * The AlphaBitch Portia from ''WesternAnimation/TheMightyB''.
%% * Teddy Thaur in ''WesternAnimation/MonsterAllergy'' when it comes to being a show-off.
* ''WesternAnimation/MoralOrel'': Clay, the main character Orel's father, who is initially viewed (at least in [[CheerfulChild Orel's eyes]]) in a sympathetic (or at least tolerable) light, but is ultimately a pathetic, blundering, selfish jackass who even crosses the MoralEventHorizon at one point or another. His "crowning moment" of Jerkassery and crossing the MoralEventHorizon was when he [[spoiler:drunkenly shot Orel on a hunting trip and proceeded to blame it on Orel with a series of unconnected lies.]] He stood there insulting Orel to bring him down, ending with him [[spoiler: starting to walk away, turning around and saying "And I'm GLAD I shot you!"]].
* ''WesternAnimation/MikeLuAndOg'': Lu has an extremely bossy attitude towards everyone on the island, especially Mike, and treats everyone like her servants, including her father, who is the governor of the island. She also abuses her pet turtle Lancelot all the time, [[KarmaHoudini yet gets almost no repercussions for it]].
* ''WesternAnimation/MrBogus'': Ratty combines this trope with YouDirtyRat. Might as well be {{Justified|Trope}}, since he's always trying to one-up Bogus with little to no success and more often than not will treat his sidekick [[MoleMiner Mole]] like dirt.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheMrMenShow'': Most of the negative personality characters tend to be this, but the [[MeaningfulName appropriately-named]] [[FrenchJerk Mr. Rude]] is this the most.
* ''WesternAnimation/MyGymPartnersAMonkey'': Bull, who's -- you guessed it -- TheBully of the show, what with him picking on many classmates, ''especially'' Adam.
* ''WesternAnimation/NumbChucks'': Buford is a complete asshole to nearly everyone and seems to hate Dilweed and Fungus. He won't even help his grandmother with the groceries because he's too lazy playing video games.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Pelswick}}'': Boyd, a bully who goes out of his way to [[BullyingTheDisabled pick on the paraplegic protagonist]], even resorting to spying on him to catch him at something embarrassing for material. He has what appears to be an EvenEvilHasStandards that prevents him from attacking Pelswick physically, but this embodies [[DontYouDarePityMe the same condescension Pelswick doesn't like from the people who have]] ''[[DontYouDarePityMe good]]'' [[DontYouDarePityMe intentions.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/PepperAnn'' has the titular character. She's a thoughtless and inconsiderate troublemaker who treats her family and friends poorly. If the characters are blunt enough about it, they can at least rest assured she won’t make the same mistake twice.
* ''WesternAnimation/PetAlien'':
** Swanky cares for no one except himself. He frequently insults the other aliens, exploits them for his own gain, and has repeatedly tried to steal Tommy's bed despite Tommy [[UngratefulBastard letting him stay in the lighthouse to begin with]].
** Melba Manners is a complete SpoiledBrat who treats Tommy, the aliens, and everyone else around her like dirt.
** [[JerkJock Clinton]] displays no redeeming qualities and delights in mocking those less capable than him.
* ''WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb'':
** [[EnfanteTerrible Suzy]]. She [[KarmaHoudini rarely gets punishment]] from tormenting many characters, as well as pretending to be a saint towards her brother, Jeremy.
** [[AbusiveParents Doofenshmirtz's parents]] were not the nicest parents to Doof. They named their dog "Only Son", made ''him'' be the lawn gnome whilst ''not moving an inch'', made him wear dresses, [[BeyondTheImpossible did not show up for his]] '''''[[BeyondTheImpossible freaking birth]]''''', [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking did not let him swim in public pools]], and always ignored him over his brother Roger.
--->'''Doof:''' [[HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood It all started on the day of my actual birth. Both of my parents failed to show up.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/PotatoesAndDragons'': One could argue that the dragon and King Hugo are both examples of this, and the whole show revolves around watching the two of them harass each other. King Hugo is a bad-tempered, egotistical royal pain of a king, who often acts like a brat despite his age. In comparison, the dragon's idea of fun is to wander on over to the castle and burn King Hugo and/or his belongings to cinders whenever he feels like it, even when the king is minding his own business — which of course is why the king wants to chase the dragon out of the kingdom.
* ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls'':
** Princess is this ''and'' a SpoiledBrat taken up to eleven. She has a disturbing LackOfEmpathy for a kindergarten-aged girl, throws temper tantrums to her "daddy" when she doesn't get her way and when someone says "no" to her, and doesn't hesitate to step on people to get what she wants, and then she wonders why she is never allowed to be a Powerpuff Girl.
** [[{{Satan}} Him]] is very much one when he's the main villain of an episode being incredibly sadistic towards the girls.
** [[EvilGenius Mojo Jojo]] can be quite rude to the people he interacts with and steals, destroys and attacks for fun. He's also incredibly arrogant and sadistic.
** Fuzzy Lumpkins is an antisocial hillbilly who will fly into a rage when anything enters his property.
** The Ganggreen Gang, a group of [[TeensAreMonsters green-skinned teenagers]] who cause all sorts of mischief and trouble for Townsville.
** Sedusa is nasty to everyone. In her first appearance alone, she acted like a [[BitchInSheepsClothing nice lady interested in the professor when she wanted control of the girls' home lives to keep them from interfering with her villainy.]]
** Mike Birkowski from the episode, ''Cop Out'' is a lazy and selfish cop who gets fired for those reasons, then acts like a major {{Hypocrite}} by blaming the Powerpuff Girls for stealing all the work from hard-working cops, considering the fact he would just eat donuts, and sit around.
** Dick Hardly was an even ''bigger'' example. The guy starts off as a jerk and then turns into a monster (figuratively and literally). The guy tricks the girls into giving him Chemical X to create knockoff girls so he can make more money. When he was confronted by the girls for this stunt, he swallows the Chemical X and turns into a monster, and then attempts to drain the Chemical X from the girls, while the ''professor is watching them die''. He was the only villain on the show to ''die''.
* ''WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls2016'': Buttercup ''really'' lives up to the first four letters[[note]][[DontExplainTheJoke B-U-T-T]][[/note]] of her name in [[AdaptationalJerkass this series]]. She bullies her sisters, is very standoffish and egotistical, and is overall more selfish than her original counterpart.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheProblemSolverz '' has Alfe. He is loud and obnoxious in almost every sense of the words, has mocked Roba on several occasions, is unsympathetic, and yet [[IdiotHoudini never seem to get called out on his actions, and almost always solves the problem]].
* ''WesternAnimation/TheProudFamily'':
** Put ButtMonkey and this trope together, and you have Oscar Proud in a nutshell. Sometimes he ''does'' deserve it, but he could double as a JerkWithAHeartOfGold too, DependingOnTheWriter.
** Dijonay and Lacienega count, and they double as {{Karma Houdini}}s for receiving little consequences for being [[WithFriendsLikeThese terrible friends to Penny]].
** Wizard Kelly as well, as he gives even [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Mr. Burns]] a run for his money for being one to [[TheChewToy Oscar]], bragging about his loss.
** Sugar Mama to Oscar, as she rarely shows affection for him.
** The Gross Sisters [[KarmaHoudini rarely get punishment]] for bullying the other teens, Penny included.
** The talking baby, Trudy, and sometimes even ''Zoey'', of all people, could be this to either Penny or Oscar.
* ''WesternAnimation/RandomCartoons'': Gaillard in the short "6 Monsters" is shown to be quite a prick. One scene has him offer to help Cathy with her math solely as an excuse to [[EnemyEatsYourLunch devour her lunch in front of her]], while another has him underhandedly manipulate Buck into paying $50 for bottled water.
* ''WesternAnimation/ReadyJetGo'' has Mitchell. He is [[ItsAllAboutMe self-centered]], rude, and always wants to expose Jet's alien identity to the public. However, he does have [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold a heart of gold]] once you peel back the layers. [[spoiler: The ChristmasEpisode reveals that this is all just a facade to hide his loneliness]]. He is considerably mellowed out in season 2, but he still has his moments.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Recess}}'':
%% ** Lawson, the resident JerkJock.
** Gelman was this for most of the series, usually picking on Gus for no reason ''at all''. In "A Great State Fair", he pulls a HeelFaceTurn.
** The Ashleys. While the girls do sometimes have their LovableAlphaBitch moments, they're usually stuck-up jerks. Ashley Q. shows this the most.
** Randall Weemes, who likes to get the gang in trouble ForTheEvulz.
** Most of the adults (sans Miss Grotke) in season one.
** Becky Detweiler, T.J.'s big sister, is this and a BrattyTeenageDaughter. She gets better at the end of ''WesternAnimation/RecessSchoolsOut'', but goes back to her normal ways in the sequel, ''Recess: Taking the Fifth Grade''.
** King Bob slipped into this territory on occasion, most notably in "The Rules" and "Pharaoh Bob". [[JerkassRealization He eventually realizes just how awful he was at the end of both episodes]] and goes through a HeelFaceTurn afterwards.
** The worst ones are Dr. Slicer from "Prickly Is Leaving", Mayor Fitzhugh from "The Biggest Trouble Ever" and Mr. White from "The Story of Whomps" (but '''''especially''''' Dr. Slicer).
* ''WesternAnimation/RegularShow'':
** Benson, in a "uptight boss" sense. He's kind of iffy, considering how incredibly stressed out he is. And let's face it, Mordecai and Rigby are pretty awful at their jobs. But he does constantly yell at them and sometimes threatens to fire them for stupid reasons.
** Mr. Maellard is even worse than Benson. He's Benson's boss who often blames him for all the problems in the park, and refuses to take responsibility for any damages caused by Mordecai and Rigby; despite willingly paying for anything he breaks since he believes he's rich and can do so.
** Muscle Man, particularly early in the series. He's an obnoxious, crude [[ThePrankster prankster]]; in his first spotlight episode, he actually forced Mordecai and Rigby to eat a grilled picture of his mother [[spoiler:(which turned out to be a picture of one of his ass cheeks!)]] [[DisproportionateRetribution because he thought they were making fun of her]]. And "Starter Pack" also gives us a glimpse of his treatment towards [[NaiveNewcomer Thomas]], which was nothing short of bullying. He eventually TookALevelInKindness, though.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow'':
** Ren is a greedy hothead who constantly berates Stimpy; and in the Adult Party Cartoon version, he's [[{{Flanderization}} flanderized]] into a [[TheSociopath sociopath]] who hurts animals for fun.
** George Liquor. He is a combination of jerkass and AxCrazy, whose treatment of animals is despicable.
** Victor is the worst one, being a bully who enjoys hurting people. Stimpy even refers to him as "the neighborhood sadist". His father isn't much better, being basically a grown-up version of him.
%% * Todd and the AlphaBitch Sierra [=McCool=] from ''WesternAnimation/TheReplacements''.
* ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty''
** [[Characters/RickAndMortyRickSanchez Rick Sanchez]] is often seen as a man who is selfish and willing to cause destruction for his own self-benefit. He is a bad influence on his grandson Morty and is willing to slap an innocent alien in the face and make that alien cry for no reason at all, which is exactly what he did in the pilot episode. His criminal record is vast, with it consisting of him enjoying watching people kill each other for his amusement, putting an entire dimension into an apocalypse and refusing to fix it all while creating a replacement dimension for him and Morty to move into all because he was too lazy to fix the situation.
** [[Characters/RickAndMortyBethSmith Beth Smith]], in addition to the contemptuous tone of voice she sometimes uses for her kids, really held the JerkassBall in "Pickle Rick" when she and Rick [[spoiler: mock family therapy as useless and ignore the kids to make plans for drinks at Shoney's]]. Jerry also clearly sees her as the Alpha Bitch and pants-wearer in their marriage, as seen in "Big Trouble in Little Sanchez" [[spoiler: where Jerry's projection of how he thinks about her is a vicious monster which looks like a cross between a scorpion and the xenomorph from the ''Film/{{Alien}}'' movies.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Robotboy}}'':
** Gus Bachmann Turner is a selfish, gross, hygienically challenged, greedy and idiotic excuse of an asshole. He [[AttentionWhore does stupid shit to seek attention]], is quite the unloyal companion to Tommy and Lola, puts himself and his affairs above others', and is overall an obnoxious twerp. Despite this, he's also a JerkWithAHeartOfGold, as he'll usually always be on Tommy, Lola, and Robotboy's side at the end of the day, and help them whenever they need it.
** Tommy's run-of-the-mill brother Donnie likes to berate and pick on him for no apparent reason. Unlike Gus though, he is very much ''not'' his ally.
* Kanawk from ''WesternAnimation/{{Robotix}}'' is an outright despicable individual. As if siding with the evil Terrakors isn't enough to make him vile, he also steals the already low supply of food from humans allied with the Protectons just to spite them!
* ''WesternAnimation/RocketPower'':
** Otto Rocket. He's arrogant, cocky, and so full of himself. He loves to brag about his skills and puts down anyone who is inferior to him. And when he's on the inferior side himself, he throws a hissy fit and refuses to admit that someone is better than him at something.
** Reggie, while nowhere near Otto's level of Jerkassness, has her moments where she can be just as insufferable.
** Merv Stimpleton is another example of this, seeing as how ill-tempered he is during the four friends' shenanigans and cuts them and Ray very little slack.
** And the biggest one of them all is Twister's older brother Lars, who not only picks on Twister, but is also just as much of a CompetitionFreak as Otto. Lars' gang could count as well.
* ''WesternAnimation/RockosModernLife'':
** Ed Bighead definitely qualifies. He's an insufferable asshole who has an irrational hatred for Rocko and often berates him for minor incidents.
** Heffer and Filburt can become this at times for [[WithFriendsLikeThese the way they treat Rocko]] in some episodes, such as in "Fly Burger" in which they took advantage of Rocko's transformation by unofficially throwing a party at his house while he struggles to adapt to a fly's habitat.
** Slippy Slug in "Carnival Knowledge" often puts other patrons in danger by having them ride in endangered amusement park rides just to make an easy buck.
** And let's not forget Rocko's [[BadBoss cruel boss]] [[FatBastard Mr. Smitty]], who once made Rocko stay up all night to fix a minor flaw on each of many of the same comics.
** Heffer's grandpa, who on top of being a GrumpyOldMan, he's also very racist; Heffer tells Rocko that his grandpa hates wallabies, but upon meeting Rocko, he instead mistakes him for a beaver (who he's also racist against).
** Heffer's biological father from "Who's For Dinner?" is a ''nasty'' piece of work. [[ParentalAbandonment He abandoned Heffer under a tree as a baby]], and when Heffer goes to seek him out and finds a vision of him, he's met with angry dismissal.
--->'''Heffer's biological father:''' I'm sick of you kids comin' over here lookin' for your daddy. I got a million of 'em comin' here and they look exactly like you! ''UGLY!''
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'': Angelica plays this trope straight, from childhood to the ''WesternAnimation/AllGrownUp'' episodes. She is ''really'' willing to [[ManipulativeBitch manipulate the other characters to get what she wants]].
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Rupert}}'' has the Fox twins Ferdy and Freddy. They're a pair of pranksters who see no wrong in wreaking havoc in Nutwood and are always mocking the main character Rupert Bear. The Fox twins are notably the only characters that [[NiceGuy Rupert]] is not on good terms with.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:S-X]]
* ''WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated'':
** Mayor Jones puts local tourism first and the well-being of his son, Fred, a distant second. The town's main squeeze for tourism is when people dress up as monsters and cause property damage or even harm to others. By episode 13, you'll be expecting him to cross the MoralEventHorizon soon. [[spoiler:And he does in episode 26.]]
** Professor Pericles is even worse, he manipulates everyone else including Jones so he could serve the [[SealedEvilInACan Niberu]], including using slave labor and backstabbing his own gang for the treasure and [[spoiler: murdering Hot Dog Water in cold blood.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TheSecretShow'': Professor Professor fills this trope through his childish behavior, his penchant for pulling practical jokes in times of danger, never actually testing his highly dangerous inventions, always leaving out crucial information until the moment, or, oft times, after it's needed, and sending the agents out on random missions. The worst thing he's done is sent them to the "Bermuda Trapezoid" into a fight to the death which ended up with the agents almost being killed in a volcano, simply to get back the satellite that broadcasts his favorite show. However, he is such a fun character that it really doesn't end up mattering in the long run.
* ''WesternAnimation/SheepInTheBigCity'' has its share of mean characters.
** Everyone in the top secret military organization trying to capture Sheep so he can be used in a sheep-powered ray gun can come off as heartlessly relentless in their pursuit of Sheep, but General Specific goes above and beyond by treating his subordinates like dirt and dropping them through trap doors simply for asking questions about his orders or [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness believing that he doesn't need them anymore]].
** Lady Richington keeps beating up Sheep with her stainless steel wig unprovoked because she has an unexplained hatred of sheep in general, not even noticing or caring that Sheep is in love with her pet poodle Swanky and that Swanky loves Sheep back.
** Lisa Rentel, when she tries to own Sheep as a pet. She constantly forces him to do what she tells him to, becoming very angry when he doesn't obey her, [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals and constantly abuses him in very cruel ways to have fun for herself]].
** Victor, the spokesman for Oxymoron products in the {{Parody Commercial}}s, tends to cause inconvenience or harm to the people he's shilling the products to, still standing there with a callous smile and pretending nothing's wrong with the product while the people he's bothering suffer and complain.
* ''WesternAnimation/{{Shelldon}}'': Somewhat unusually for a 21st century EdutainmentShow targeted at preschool and early grade-school audiences, the main character Shelldon can be a real jerk at times. While he does have some redeeming qualities, he often does not seem to be a good role model for the target audience. He is often rude and abrasive to his best friend and even his family, and often displays lazy or selfish behavior. For example, in "Locked Out", he goofs off with Herman when he's supposed to be babysitting his younger siblings, foisting his chores and trying to foist his homework on them without a second thought. His adoptive sister, Connie, who is actually younger than him, generally comes across as being much more responsible.
* ''WesternAnimation/SkullIsland2023'': [[ItCanThink The Kraken]] is an extremely AxCrazy [[Franchise/MonsterVerse Titan]] that kills any human presence it encounters in a disturbingly playful rather than predatory manner, and it's been throwing innocent whales to their deaths in an effort to enrage Kong to the point where he'll be goaded into fighting the Kraken to the death in a setting where the Kraken has HomefieldAdvantage. The humans briefly wonder why the Kraken acts so sadistic, and Sam's leading theory is that the creature is, to put it mildly, "a dick."
* ''WesternAnimation/TheSmurfs1981'': Brainy Smurf is an InsufferableGenius who makes Vanity Smurf's existence redundant and has almost destroyed the village more than once.
%%** Jokey Smurf with his constant pranks.
* ''WesternAnimation/SpaceGhostCoastToCoast'': Everyone but especially Space Ghost himself, a petty, megalomaniacal SmallNameBigEgo who regularly abuses his co-hosts and sometimes murders his guests. [[ComedicSociopathy It's that sort of show.]]
* Entree from ''WesternAnimation/{{Spliced}}''. In contrast to [[NiceGuy Peri]], he is unrepentantly selfish, greedy, callous, and manipulative. He also often harms or abuses others for fun or self-profit -- his best friend Peri being his most frequent victim due to his naivety. On the other hand, he does have rare JerkWithAHeartOfGold moments, and is a frequent victim of LaserGuidedKarma.
* ''WesternAnimation/SquirrelBoy'':
** Kyle and Salty Mike. They are a duo of bullies who harass and torment Andy and Rodney for no apparent reason (or at least no apparent good reason), in addition to vandalizing other people's property and whatnot. They ''never'' learn anything and barely have any PetTheDog moments (or at least Kyle barely has any).
** Rodney himself (being an {{Expy}} of [[WesternAnimation/FostersHomeForImaginaryFriends Bloo]]) isn't exactly a saint, being a textbook example of WithFriendsLikeThese.
* Like the live-action films, ''WesternAnimation/StarWarsTheCloneWars'' gives some rather mean characters.
** The Season 1 episode, "Trespass", gives us Chairman Chi Cho, the greedy chairman of Pantora who doesn't like being reasonable with Talz, [[WellIntentionedExtremist considering the moon the talz live on Pantoran territory]], and declares war on them and claims it a Pantoran exclusive internal affair, not allowing Obi-Wan Kenobi to participate in the negotiations.
--->"This is now an internal affair of Pantora!"
** Tarkin was still a {{Jerkass}} in the ''Clone Wars'' series as well.
** Jedi General Pong Krell in the Umbarra Arc in Season Four. [[spoiler: It turns out his jerk personality was intentional, as he was planning to join Count Dooku and the CIS after sabotaging the Republic effort on Umbarra]].
** [[spoiler: [[FaceHeelTurn Barriss Offee]]]] turns into one in the Season Five finale episodes, where she bombed the Jedi Temple and framed her best friend, Ahsoka Tano, for murdering her accomplice, Letta Turmond.
* ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'':
** Lars is a high school slacker who constantly antagonizes Steven, because he thinks Steven is lame. Though he does [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold have his more heartwarming moments]]. He eventually [[CharacterDevelopment loses a lot of his jerk behavior during Season 5's "Wanted" arc]].
** [[JerkWithAHeartOfJerk Kevin]], who is one of only two characters Steven openly hates (the other one being Marty, described below). At a club, he hits on [[spoiler: Stevonnie, a fusion between 13-year old lead character Steven, and Connie, Steven's 12-year old friend. Kevin is in his late teens. Of course, he doesn't know this at the time, but continues to hit on them and try to dance with them after they made it explicitly clear they weren't interested. He runs away as soon as they unfuse. Then, months later, Kevin and Steven meet again when Kevin antagonises Steven's dad, Greg Universe, at his car wash. Nitpicking Greg's washing of his expensive sports car, he then drives away without paying. After that, one thing leads to another and Stevonnie ends up against Kevin in a street race, throughout which, Kevin flirts with them, knowing they're two young kids. Then, when asked why he acts like he does, he makes up a story about having a sick younger brother, then laughs when Stevonnie believes him. He goes on to explain that he acts like this because he finds it funny, and wins the race.]]
** Marty. He's a deadbeat dad who, when after not seeing his son for almost a decade, [[spoiler: used his songs to promote a guacamole-flavored soda, under the pretense of bonding with him.]]
** [[Characters/StevenUniverseYellowDiamond Yellow Diamond]] is this, being a BadBoss who is very prone to DisproportionateRetribution. Though she does have quite a few PetTheDog moments. [[spoiler:She eventually [[TookALevelInKindness takes a level in kindness]].]]
* ''WesternAnimation/SWATKats'': Burke and Murray, the former junkyard managers before the protagonists. Every time they show up, expect them to mock and laugh at Chance and Jake.
* ''WesternAnimation/SymBionicTitan'': Baron, a classmate of Lance's from the military training academy of Galaluna, is an asshole to the highest order. He's a bully, he constantly gets Lance in trouble, he makes insensitive remarks about his father being deceased, and he even tries to kill Lance for winning the medal of excellence instead of him.
* ''WesternAnimation/TalesFromTheCryptkeeper'': The hunter from the episode "Hunted". He openly admits to the English-speaking Amazonian native that he will use the animals he captured to make fur coats, rugs and fancy appetizers and not take them to a zoo as the boy hoped. The hunter tries to justify his actions by claiming his people also hunt the animals for food, but the boy retorts that they only hunt the animals for as much as they need. He also lets the hunter know that they are not as numerous as he believes and the ones he captured may even be the last of their species. Hunter's response? "Then all the better. The rarer they are the higher the price." Luckily he gets his at the end of the episode.
%% * ''WesternAnimation/TazMania'': Bushwacker Bob.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles2012'': Vic/Spider Bytez, who spends most of his first appearance treating the Turtles like dirt and mockingly calling them "kung-fu frogs." When he's captured by the Kraang, the guys actually stop to wonder why they should risk their lives to save him.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitansGo'':
** Everyone of the Titans has their moments (yes, even [[JerkassBall Starfire]]). Despite their differences, they are good friends to one another, but sometimes they're outright jerks. Special mention goes to Robin, an uptight Jerkass who frequently abuses his teammates verbally and in some episodes physically, and Cyborg and Beast Boy, who are incredibly obnoxious and lazy, and in the episode "Staring Into the Future" even try to ruin the futures of Robin, Starfire, and Raven because of their own selfish ways.
** Blackfire was described as this before her HeelFaceTurn in "Mr. Butt".
** Aqualad, who abuses his sea animals as if they were servants to the point of feeding them to the sharks just to impress Raven.
* ''WesternAnimation/TeenageFairytaleDropouts'':
** Evil Earl is the biggest offender of this trope (Despite that there are numerous characters in the show that follow his path). He is pretty arrogant and bitter to nearly everyone around him. But seeing as his father was an outcast, you can't blame him for his personality and for him being the jerk he is.
%%** Don't get us started with Trafalgar's cousin Myron.
* ''WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends'':
** Characters such as James, Sir Handel, and Duncan are seen as rude, arrogant, condescending, and ill-behaved, often seen as the ones insulting the nicer and sympathetic engines having a difficult situation. They will often face LaserGuidedKarma which will [[BreakTheHaughty damage their prideful attitudes]] as well as earning a stern talking to from The Fat Controller for their behavior, which will have them learn their lessons in the end, [[AesopAmnesia at least for a while.]]
** Diesel is the most prominent example of the series thanks to his antagonism towards steam engines and finds every opportunity in making them miserable with the help of his diesel brethren such as 'Arry and Bert, who also qualify.
** The Troublesome Trucks will find every opportunity to ridicule, harass, and cause serious accidents for the engines, mostly by putting them off the rails or causing them to crash into certain objects [[ItAmusedMe just for their own amusement.]] They're one of the reasons why the engines are blamed for said accidents and never got their comeuppances, although even if they were broken into pieces during the accident, [[TooKinkyToTorture this never stops them from laughing about the fun they had in victimizing an engine.]]
** The [[MeaningfulName Spiteful]] Brake Van who caused a lot of problems for Douglas, one of them being deliberately delaying his trains. Even after a hard biff from Donald, the brake van still wouldn't repent from his behavior and tries to sabotage James' train. Gradually, Douglas [[AssholeVictim pushes from behind James' train, smashing the Spiteful Brake Van in the process.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TimeSquad'':
** Buck Tuddrussel is a huge one. He is a jerk towards Larry 3000 as he repays Larry for his kindness to him by berating him for his effeminate behavior as Tuddrussel shoved Larry into a dishwasher and set it to high heat all because Larry cleaned Tuddrussel's phaser guns. Tuddrussel also loves GoingNative in time eras that are undergoing historical inaccuracies, therefore jeopardizing history by participating in the shenanigans of other historical figures all for his own selfish gain.
** Larry 3000 is hardly a saint either. He also loves participating in causing historical inaccuracies for his own self-benefit, is very snarky towards other people, and at one point he [[ExiledToTheCouch made Tuddrussel sleep on the sofa]] just for hanging out with his ex-wife Sheila.
** J.T. Laser and Lance 9 Trillion from "Out with the In Crowd", use Otto, Larry, and Buck as bait for an enemy to beat them up, and don't give any credit to them for completing the mission.
* ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures'':
** Plucky Duck, Daffy's younger counterpart, is just like post-{{Flanderization}} Daffy, an egotistical jerk who thinks about himself more than others.
** Montana Max is an even bigger one. He's a [[NoIndoorVoice loud-mouth]], {{greed}}y, [[SpoiledBrat snot-nosed brat]] who serves as the main antagonist of the show.
** Little Beeper, who, unlike the Roadrunner to Wile E, injures Calamity for no reason, such as running him over with a truck.
** The biggest one of them all would ironically be [[IronicName Sweetie Pie]], who hijacks a themed episode to indulge in her own egotistical fantasies where she tortures anyone and everyone in her path. One short has her attempting to get Furrball to chase and eat her, heaping various punishments and humiliations on the poor cat, and when he does finally reach his breaking point and attempt to off the little hellspawn she just heaps MORE violence on the poor cat, who at the beginning of the short was ''minding his own damn business''.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheTofus'':
** Tidus Hubbub is a loudmouth who hates his neighbours the Tofus so much that whenever something goes on in the neighbourhood he immediately blames them. He is also antagonistic to them on a daily basis to an extent that it's questioned about whether or not two vicious greyhounds would be worse than him.
** Nick is a special case. Besides being TheBully, and just not any bully but the head bully, Nick is the rival of Chichi Tofu, who is a couple of years younger than him, and often antagonizing the younger boy for no real reason at all to the point that he made up a story of Chichi's older sister Lola having pretended to be drowning just so she could kiss someone.
* ''Franchise/TomAndJerry'':
** Jerry occasionally picked on Tom for no reason in some of the earlier cartoons, though the times where Tom is the first to start the fight far outnumber the times where Jerry attacks without being provoked. And in episodes where Jerry really goes overboard, Tom tends to win, though that doesn't change the fact that Jerry was sometimes a Jerkass in retaliation.
** Tom himself is occasionally shown to [[ForTheEvulz pick on Jerry for the sheer fun of it]] (or take a little too much pleasure in his duties).
** But none of them hold a candle to Tom's owner (whom fans mistakenly call Clint Clobber due to the ''very'' strong resemblances between them) from the Gene Deitch shorts; he had an extremely nasty temper and beat the crap out of Tom for even the littlest offenses. Sometimes, it got so bad that even [[EveryoneHasStandards Jerry was shown wincing in shock.]] In fact, "Sorry Safari" has him give a PsychoticSmirk at harming Tom for the umpteenth time. But perhaps what's worse is that [[KarmaHoudini he never got punished for violently beating up Tom...]] [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty until the above-mentioned episode]] ''[[KarmaHoudiniWarranty finally]]'' [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty rectified this.]]
* ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated'': Sentinel Prime. It was to display how ironic it was that an arrogant jerk like him would [[TheNeidermeyer become a member of the Elite Guard]] when Optimus Prime, who was more competent and nicer, [[AlmightyJanitor ended up on a Space Bridge Repair crew]].
* ''[[WesternAnimation/UltimateSpiderMan2012 Ultimate Spider-Man]]'': Nova. Most of the cast can be pretty bad, but Nova is ridiculously overboard in this respect, being an arrogant, cocky bastard who has a huge dislike of Spider-Man and uses any chance he can to put him down.
%% * ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBros'': Dr. Venture. This is to be expected when you live in such a CrapsackWorld.
%% * Much of the characters in ''WesternAnimation/Wayside'', from Myron to Mrs. Jewls.
* ''WesternAnimation/WhatACartoonShow'':
** Luther from the short "Awfully Lucky". The very beginning of the short has him steal a man's sandwich, tease a dog with the last bite before finishing the sandwich in front of it, and steal a baby's milk bottle to wash it down. It's almost as if they wanted to make sure that the audience wouldn't feel sorry for Luther when the Paradox Pearl's curse keeps giving him grave misfortune.
** Sledgehammer O'Possum from the short "Out and About" is extremely sadistic and cruel; he torments the dog for no reason, all he did was share his food with him. Sledgehammer then proceeds to inflict all kinds of pain and suffering on him in an over-the-top fashion. A few times he appears to feel guilt for what he did, only to hurt him worse than before.
* ''WesternAnimation/WhateverHappenedToRobotJones'':
** The Yogman twins Lenny and Denny, who bully Robot Jones and always cause trouble for him.
** Principal Madman, a complete technophobe who always assumes Robot Jones is up to no good just because he's a machine. He even framed him for various misdeeds just to turn the other students against him in "School Newspaper".
* ''WesternAnimation/WheelieAndTheChopperBunch'': Chopper shows great jealousy for Wheelie and will go to great lengths to one-up him.
* ''WesternAnimation/TheWildThornberrys'': Brie and Sloan in the movie. Unlike the other villains in the show, they're not played for laughs in the slightest. They seem like nice people at first, offering to help Eliza get back to her family and helping save an injured rhino, but it's all an act as Eliza later finds out that Brie and Sloan are the poachers that stole a cheetah cub and shot the rhino and are planning to kill thousands of elephants with an electric fence. They threaten to kill Debbie unless Eliza tells them how she knew of their plan (forcing her to reveal her secret powers) and after Eliza thwarts their plan, Sloan decides to shoot the elephants instead [[WouldHurtAChild despite Eliza being in the vicinity]] (something which [[EvenEvilHasStandards even his own men question him on]]), then he grabs Eliza and [[MoralEventHorizon tries to kill her by throwing her into the river]]. When it comes to poachers, Sloan ''is'' the bad guy.
* ''WesternAnimation/WinxClub'': Lucy is often abusive with Mirta (who, it is later revealed, has been her friend since they were in diapers), and teams up with the Trix almost every time they come knocking.
** Margot, one of the two judges of the reality talent show "Wow!" from ''WesternAnimation/WorldOfWinx'' is overly haughty and critical and tends to belittle any of the contestants on the show.
* ''Franchise/XMen'': The contender for biggest jerkass in any animated series is ''[[WesternAnimation/XMenEvolution Evolution]]'''s version of Quicksilver; he steals from his best friend, frames said best friend, joins the bad guys to get out of jail, regularly abuses them, betrays them when they separate from Magneto's thumb, allows Magneto to MindRape his mentally unstable twin sister Wanda so that she'll be out of the way, triggers Wanda into accidentally derailing a train (which their escape attempt ends up painting them in a positive light and getting their house rebuilt), then has the Brotherhood cause events that make them into heroes in the public for money, further manipulates Wanda's state of mind to attack the X-Men and incriminate them, then sets a train crash so they can stop it [[MoralEventHorizon and abandons it when they realize that it's going to colide with another train and cause an explosion which could level the entire city]], and worst of all he [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking went to a dance with four dates]].
