InterspeciesRomance in {{Webcomics}}.
----

* ''Webcomic/{{Ayuri}}'': Two couples: Tanja (human) and Saye (CatFolk), and Wanda (human) and Fenna (PuppeteerParasite).
* ''Webcomic/BasketsOfGuts'': Rikleeno's wife/lover is a spider taur. [[AllMythsAreTrue Counting the setting]] and the lack of FantasticRacism it's probably not uncommon.
* ''Webcomic/BittersweetCandyBowl'' has a number. Notably, in this universe, such pairings can NEVER create offspring. This means that cats and dogs can sleep around with each other a lot without worrying about unwanted babies (something Rachel takes advantage of), but it also means that if they DO fall in love, they can never have biological children (ironically, a problem for the same character, because she wants to have kids someday).
** Abbey's foster parents.
** As a small set of examples, Katie has flirted with Mike, Paulo has had flings with girl dogs (particularly Rachel), and David hits on Lucy a '''lot'''. [[spoiler:Oh, and David ''may'' have a thing for Mike earlier and Abbey now.]]
** Sue and [=McCain=]. [[http://www.bittersweetcandybowl.com/c38.3/p5.html Kinda.]]
*** Not to mention she's the only one who calls him by his first name and [[strike:never]] almost never tells him to shut it.
** It seems like Roger might be in one, [[http://www.bittersweetcandybowl.com/c41/p5.html or at least might've been in one in chapter 41 "Moving On".]]
* The BetaCouple in ''Webcomic/CobwebAndStripes'' are Jacques the [[DemBones skeleton]] and his wife, Ginger the half-spider. This pairing isn't as odd as most examples of the trope, however, since they're both ghosts; they ''were'' human in life, and only have their current appearances due to the way in which they died.
* In ''Webcomic/{{Concession}}'', WordOfGod is that species segregation has only recently officially stopped, but the cast seem to be making up for lost time, e.g. the OfficialCouple are a wolf and a cat, and other relationships include lemur/dinosaur, zebra/fox, and pangolin/skunk - even a briefly-appearing human customer with a guinea pig girlfriend. It's mentioned that the "Church of Gaia" are looked down upon for their advocation of [[BestialityIsDepraved sex between furries and non-anthropomorphic animals]]. Thonnen, the last of an important bloodline of African dinosaurs, intentionally dates outside her species to annoy her family.
* The bartender in ''Webcomic/CornerAlley13'' is [[spoiler:the result of an interspecies romance between an ogre and a mermaid]].
* ''The Cummoner'': [[HotWitch Vilga]]; to this date her many lovers include a pair of satyrs and a demon plant. To say nothing of her BelligerentSexualTension with Tuck, a human-turned-demon.
* ''Webcomic/TheCyantianChronicles'': And how!
** Contrary to what this article may make ''Webcomic/TheCyantianChronicles'' seem like, the requisite majority of couples are the same species. Interspecies romance isn't commented on much (in-universe) [[http://cyantian.net/?p=291 save for pairings that result in deformed offspring.]] Said pairings are frowned upon because of the suffering the children go through. [[http://shivae.org/wiki/index.php?title=Category:Immigrants For more thorough details read this page from the Shivaewiki]]
** Chatin and Collin are a skunk and a raccoon (both are genetically engineered from the setting's felines).
** Cesilee and Marcus are an ocelot/puma hybrid and a human, though the relationship is more of Cesilee's obsession with Marcus than anything else. (PlayedForLaughs)
** The parents of the Cisaan Family are a tiger and a rabbit (offspring are genetically engineered, which was a first and a massive controversy in-universe).
** Rama's Parents were a wolf and a Liger (Double hit there. Also pertinent to his and Vin's backstory.)
** Chatin and Twinky are technically a Wereskunk (Human Cil Hybrid with Skunk Characteristics) and a genetically engineered strawberry scented skunk.
** Alexandera, adopted human mounty (Mounty = Feline) princess has a mounty (feline) boyfriend. (Alexandera has a few issues.)
** In years past Syrys, a wolf, was in love with Danie, a fox. (Impossible to breed with each other.)
** Vincent's Father is Rama, a wolf/feline hybrid and his mother was a wolf. [[ChildByRape Though no romance was involved]].
** If you're wondering about Chatin: Yes, she does have a Love Dodecahedron worth of suitors. Her third suitor is another skunk, which is a subversion for this trope.
* ''Webcomic/DanAndMabsFurryAdventures'' has about a dozen pages of [[http://www.missmab.com/Demo/HG01.php tables]] and verbal explanations of possible hybridizations between the various races in its world.
** [[http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_598.php The tale of Brian (a being) and Burasi (a dragon)...]]
** It's also worth mentioning that Jyrras's parents are a kangaroo and a kangaroo rat who met when an accident in the personal ads department got the K species section mixed up. [[http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_328.php Seriously.]]
*** Jyrras follows in his parents' footsteps by being attracted outside his species line. [[spoiler: He has a homosexual crush on first Dan and then on Abel, both cat 'Cubi, and a "I'm not sure it's real, but I do like her" crush on Lorenda, who is a half-Demon cow. [[{{Gayngst}} Unfortunately for him]], none of them are really interested in him back: [[IncompatibleOrientation Dan is straight, Abel is]] asexual and Lorenda believes Jyrras is gay, not bi. To say nothing of her entry in the "dating sim" side-comic stating she likes "beefy" (as in: big, strong, muscled and hunky) guys, whereas Jyrras is small, weak and adorable.]]
** Dan, a cat [[spoiler: 'Cubi]] eventually falls in love with Matilda, who is a Mythos of unnamed breed and thusly resembles something like a three-eyed cobra-hooded [[SnakePeople Naga]] with six limbs in a roughly "tauric" configuration.
** Dan's sister, Alexsi, falls in love with Pyroduck, who is [[spoiler: a Dragon disguised as]] an IndeterminateFurry.
* Creator/StyleWager uses this a lot, both in his PG rated comic ''Webcomic/DelaTheHooda'' and his more pornographic stuff. Dela, an anthropomorphic fox (a "Hooda"), is dating a human and has stated that some members of her species can interbreed with humans (and she has the gene).
* ''Webcomic/DemonKingGF'': The comic's plot focuses on the relationship and marriage between the unnamed human Hero and Alvida, the titular [[MaouTheDemonKing Demon King]] girlfriend.
* ''Webcomic/DeviantUniverse'': While romance is rare because of its SuperHero focus, there is the occasional Human/Demon relationship.
* ''Webcomic/DominicDeegan'': Jayden and Milov Danovich (also human/werewolf).
** Also seems to be leading this way with Kiya (female Orc) and Hansi (normal human) which started [[http://www.dominic-deegan.com/view.php?date=2009-05-14 here]].
* The erotic webcomic ''Dreamwalk Journal'' is all about this. The planet Cyeatea is inhabited by numerous intelligent humanoid insect and arachnid species, all nude with exaggerated sexual characteristics including female NonMammalMammaries. There's lots of sex between species (some of it in the form of ritual combat, eliminating the need for real warfare) and with a couple of visiting human women.
* ''Webcomic/{{Drowtales}}'' references the idea with [[http://www.drowtales.com/mainarchive.php?sid=5314 a male drow called Val'Doom]] who has a harem of human women that he tries to make babies with, even though fae and humans aren't capable of reproducing. This gets compared to bestiality since humans to drow are held to the same standard as chimpanzees are with humans.
** A notable subversion occurs with Mel'arnach and Zhor, a giant spider, who are often called this, but Zhor is in fact [[WasOnceAMan a dark elf who was transformed into a spider]], and as a result his children [[spoiler:including Ariel]] are full-blooded fae.
* ''Webcomic/DungeonsAndDenizens'' have an offspring between a lich and a medusa, ''Webcomic/GrimTalesFromDownBelow'' has an offspring between the grim reaper (skeleton-style) and a woman.
* Since ''Webcomic/EerieCuties'' is set at an AllGhoulsSchool hosting a variety of humanoid beings, this was practically a given and has featured two relationships between varying monster types:
** For starters, there's Layla's (a vampire) [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/teeny-weeny_favor on-again]]/[[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/s-o-o-o-o_soffffft! off-again]] relationship with Kade Whiteclaw, who's a werecat.
** And Ace's (werewolf) relationship with Brooke (a melusine), who have ''also'' [[http://eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/move-it-around_powers dated]] and [[http://www.eeriecuties.com/strips-ec/you_want_to_see_other_people broken up]] several times.
* Matoya and Bahamut the self-professed Dragon God-King from ''Webcomic/EightBitTheater'' (Witch/Dragon). This {{Squick}}s the Light Warriors greatly.
* Here it comes ... ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive''. Tedd is a human and Grace is a... human/squirrel/alien/another alien -hybrid {{shapeshifter}} (she can look full-human, but he finds ShapeshifterDefaultForm more attractive). The demonic duck also claims to indulge in this quite often. One of Elliot/Ellen [[AlternateUniverse alternates]] was in a relationship with HalfHumanHybrid boy, though this one didn't work out well due to the alien psychophysiology.
** Also note the Uryuoms, who are ambisexual, can be attracted to anything thinking and reproduce with anything moving (regardless of species and sex of "DNA sources"), but not in a way as "fun" as the [[Franchise/MassEffect Asari]].
** Mr. Verres has an Uryuom assistant named Lavender. Lavender has a transparent crush on Mr. Verres, and apparently the two began dating mostly-offscreen, as Mr. Verres would later reveal that he had proposed to her.
* ''Webcomic/{{Elwood|2015}}'' has several examples. As most of the characters are kids, most of them also fall under PuppyLove.
** D.W. Read (an aardvark) has a crush on James [=MacDonald=] (a rabbit), as was [[Recap/ArthurS8E9FleaToBeYouAndMeKissAndTell already]] [[Recap/ArthurS14E2TheAgentOfChangeDWUntiesTheKnot implied]] in [[WesternAnimation/{{Arthur}} the show]] the comic is a FanSequel to, although [[HeIsNotMyBoyfriend she will deny it]]. [[spoiler:At the conclusionof the "[[Recap/DWS2Arc4PlayDate Play-Date]]" StoryArc, they have finally [[SealedWithAKiss all but admitted their feelings for each]]]].
** D.W. and James's classmates Liam (a bear) and Sarah (an aardvark) are also crushing on each other. [[spoiler:Unlike [[TwiceShy D.W. and James]]]], they are not shy about showing their feelings for each other to their peers.
** [[SternTeacher Nigel Ratburn]] ([[ALizardNamedLiz no points for guessing his species]]) is married to Paige Turner (rabbit), and they even [[FanCreatedOffspring have a son]]. This is also a retroactive case of AdaptationalSexuality, as ''WesternAnimation/{{Arthur}}'' would [[QueerEstablishingMoment establish Ratburn to be canonically gay]][[note]]Granted, him being bisexual is [[AmbiguouslyBi also a possibility]] since the [[Recap/ArthurS22E1MrRatburnAndTheSpecialSomeoneTheFeud the episode that shows him marrying another man]] never actually ''uses'' the word "gay" to refer to him. [[/note]]after their marriage was revealed in the comic, and the author decided not to {{retcon}} their marriage to match the comic's continuity with the show's.
** The aforementioned son of Mr. Ratburn and Ms. Turner, [[EnfantTerrible Ryan]] ([[GenderEqualsBreed a rat like his father]]), is shown to [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes have a crush on Mei Lin Barnes]] (a bear cub), and it is implied [[EvenEvilCanBeLoved she may reciprocate]].
** George Lundgren (moose) and Ladonna Compson (rabbit) share a kiss while watching TV in one strip.
* ''Webcomic/{{Endtown}}'' might have this all over the place, depending on how you look at it. After the apocalypse, much of the world was mutated into anthropomorphic animals, so while they were originally human, they have the appearance of different species, and since the animal to which you mutate is random, the odds of hooking up with someone of the same 'species' are actually somewhat slim. The two main pairings in the comic are between a non-mutated human and a rhino mutant, and a cat and mouse mutant.
* ''Webcomic/EnemyQuest'' has this as the focus of the story. Zack and other eligible humans were selected by the government to hold a cultural exchange with the Visitors, using dating as the setting.
* In ''Webcomic/EverydayHeroes'', G-Nat (a [[HalfHumanHybrid human/insect hybrid]]) and his girlfriend [[http://eheroes.smackjeeves.com/comics/1895777/g-nat-and-julia/ Julia]] (fully human victim of a [[IncredibleShrinkingMan shrinking experiment]]) are the proud parents of 137 bouncing baby [[http://eheroes.smackjeeves.com/comics/1990767/its-a-swarm/ larvae]].
* ''Webcomic/EveryoneIsHome'' has [[Franchise/{{Castlevania}} Simon Belmont]], a human vampire hunter, begin a relationship with [[VideoGame/{{Bayonetta}} Bayonetta]], an Umbra Witch. The two later break up over a misunderstanding, but Simon quickly moves on to [[VideoGame/MetroidPrime2Echoes Dark Samus]], who is a mutated hybridization of a Metroid Prime and Samus Aran's Phazon Suit + her DNA (and who [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe underwent heavy]] AdaptationalAttractiveness in the comic). Eventually, [[{{Polyamory}} all three enter a polyamorous relationship]].
* In an early arc on ''Webcomic/{{Fans}}'', Rumy falls in love with an alien that resembles a glowing square with two eyes (the aliens are nicknamed "Xenochicklets"). The Xenochicklet ultimately realizes that their species are incompatible.
** Not quite - it's just that the Xenochicklets reproduce ''mentally''. It turns out they only wanted her for her mind.
* Jake Noel from ''Webcomic/{{Forestdale}}'' was brought into the world as a result of this trope, his father being a wolf and his mother a deer. [[AbusiveParents Unfortunately neither of his parents were particularly good people]] and [[HalfBreedDiscrimination he is frequently bullied for being an interspecies hybrid]]. Making this a more tragic example.
* ''Webcomic/{{Freefall}}'': Florence ({{Uplifted|Animal}} wolf) and Winston (human). [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff500/fv00465.htm They are]] [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff500/fv00469.htm aware of]] complications, but end up together anyway. Then [[http://freefall.purrsia.com/ff2000/fc01983.htm comic 1983]].
* Josh asked ''Webcomic/FrogRaccoonStrawberry'' to go out with him once, but she said that it would be too weird because he's a raccoon and she's a [[strike: raccoon in a frog costume]] frog. Later, she ditches the frog costume and goes to see Josh, [[spoiler: only to find him in a real interspecies romance with Pippi.]]
* ''Webcomic/FurWillFly'' and ''Webcomic/ComingUpViolet'' have had more than a few interspecies (interracial?) romances, but interestingly enough, the only confirmed child resulting from such a union is a mouse(mom)/human(dad) hybrid who has her mother's body, and [[{{Cloudcuckoolander}} her dad's mind]].
* Before the revision it was stated outright in ''Webcomic/FuzzyThings'' that attraction to other species was equivalent to homosexuality, it is yet unclear if that was retained. Note though that most of the original cast are paired with an opposite sex member of another species (granted they are [[PuppyLove eight years old]]), but among the second generation cast (twelve-year-olds) there is one OfficialCouple that are both foxes.
* In ''Webcomic/GirlGenius'', it depends on your definition of ''interspecies''. The [[SuperSoldier Jagers]] are [[FrankensteinsMonster creations of the Heterodyne family]], made when a human (willingly) drinks the Jagerdraught, containing water from the Dyne, which occasionally makes people explode when it's drunk. Although WordOfGod says that they're still genetically human, and any children they have with a human partner are not affected, they look far from it - horns, tusks, fused fingers and toes, claws, razor-sharp oversized teeth, and a variety of interesting hair and skin colors. It doesn't stop them from being attractive to human women though - [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20100614#.VzN9x4QrLIU Maxim leaves a bar with Zeuxippe's number,]] and [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20060726 Oggie has great-great-grandchildren.]]
** And the potential for FridgeHorror with the [[http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20031219#.VzOBFYQrLIU Duke D'Omas' taste in women.]] Apparently he used to build his own, and any heirs will be showing up in glass jars.
** It's eventually revealed that this is the case between [[spoiler:Zeetha and Higgs]], as the latter is revealed to be [[spoiler:a Jager General]] who, unlike his kin, looks exactly like a normal human except in rare cases where the accent slips through and he exposes a beastly SlasherSmile.
* In ''Webcomic/TehGladiators'', a [=WoW=] webcomic, a murloc named Yolanda develops a crush on the human Vallant, which is most definitely not reciprocated. It doesn't stop her from smothering him with affection, going [[BerserkButton berserk]] when he's hurt, or sparing his life after he's captured by the Lich King (something that turns out very poorly for the latter).
* In ''Webcomic/{{Goblins}}'', Minmax first looks at the yuan-ti Kin as a monster, but when seeing [[spoiler:how her captor, Goblinslayer [[RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil abuses her]]]], he frees her and slowly starts to look at her as a person rather than a monster, and even develops feelings for her. While their relationship doesn't turn out well, it becomes a turning point in Minmax's CharacterDevelopment.
* ''Webcomic/GrrlPower'': Sydney (A Human) and Flix (A Woof).[[note]]Seriously. Kinda looks like a wolf-man, at least to Sydney; she called him a "space woof" when she found out.[[/note]] They met on a spaceship captained by Cora (a Succubus), and partially bonded over how their respective species name was an InherentlyFunnyWord in the others' native language.
* There are several in ''Webcomic/GuildedAge''. Byron the human and Syr'Nj the wood elf are the first confirmed couple, and later Syr'Nj's sister Fr'Nj starts a relationship with Scipio, another human. On the other side of the comic's conflict, there's Harky the troll and Gondolessa the avian.
* ''Webcomic/GunnerkriggCourt'':
** Kat and Aly's relationship comes to an end when the latter [[{{Metamorphosis}} transforms]] into a bird... Afterwards, Kat's [[http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=259 attraction]] to feathers and beaks became a RunningJoke popping up any time the subject of birds (or even {{Psychopomp}}s that look like birds) comes up.
--->'''Kat:''' And this Muut guy... he ah... has an owl head and doesn't wear a shirt you say?\
'''Antimony:''' Steady on there, girl!\
'''Kat:''' Haha!
** The fox Renard was smitten with the human Surma (who, considering that she married someone else, most likely didn't reciprocate). Renard also "[[GirlOnGirlIsHot would be interested in watching]]" two human girls kiss.
** Annie's ancestor apparently fell for [[spoiler:"[[http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=822 some manner of fire elemental]]"]].
--->'''Coyote''': I admire man's ability to see beauty in ''everything''!
** Bob's wife Marcia is eventually revealed to be a Dryad.
** James Eglamore (human) and Jones (species unknown). James isn't the first either, not by [[CompleteImmortality a long shot]].
* ''Webcomic/{{Harkovast}}'' devotes an entire page to explaining the various implications of the various races forming romantic relationships.
* [[AllTrollsAreDifferent Trolls]] and humans of ''Webcomic/{{Homestuck}}'' do have a history of this.
** [[TokenEvilTeammate Vriska]] and [[BlindSeer Terezi]] are flirting with John and Dave, respectively.
** And this whole trope {{Squick}}s Karkat utterly.
*** [[spoiler: Which is intentionally hypocritical, since he used to have a crush on [[HoYay John]].]]
*** And Karkat's latest conversation with Jade alternates between him kissing up to her and him flaming her (and him flaming himself), right after he told the human boys to stay away from the troll girls, which Dave lampshades.
*** Furthermore, ever since the [[CosmicRetcon timeline was retconned]], Karkat has actually been in a relationship with Dave. He could get away with this on the fact that this is a new timeline with an altered history, but it's still nevertheless hypocritical.
** Eridan also has blackrom feelings for Rose, who is pretty definitively uninterested. When he continued his hate-flirtation after she said no, she blew up his computer. (Which might actually come across as a romantic gesture from the trolls' perspective, since one of their major types of romance is based on passionately hating each other. Humans do not work that way.)
** Tavros also had a crush on Jade for a little while. It didn't work out.
** [[spoiler: Davesprite and Jade]].
** There has been some mild ShipTease between Caliborn and Calliope and the alpha kids, particularly Caliborn towards Dirk, for whom he drew fanart of the two of them doing something 'more than friendly'. Considering that Caliborn is essentially a sociopath, any feelings are very vehemently unrequited.
** As of Openbound, [[spoiler: Rose and Kanaya]] are couple. [[spoiler: Dave and Terezi]] were also confirmed canon at this time, but [[spoiler: have since broke up]].
** During [S] Collide, Clover, who is a leprechaun, a species whose romance and reproduction may be even more weird than the trolls', becomes attracted to Karkat after Karkat defeats him.
* ''Horndog'' portrays a number of inter-species romances and sexual encounters, notably dog Bob's open relationship with cat Charlene.
* Relationships between centaurs and humans are not unheard of for ''{{Webcomic/Hotblood}}'', but carries an implication of bestiality on the part of the humans.
* ''Webcomic/{{Housepets}}'' has Sabrina (cat) and Fido (dog), but cat/dog relationships seem to be generally disliked by the neighborhood animals.
** Also, the one of the main characters, Peanut, has a crush on Grape, who is a cat.
** While Fido's brother Joey has a rather weird relationship with a mouse named Squeak, as in he cosplays as a cat.
** A lot of fans pair King and Sasha together, even though King is a human that was transformed into a dog. He eventually fell in love with Bailey, another dog and the cousin of Fox. This in particular has been mooted, since Great Kitsune allowed King to permanently become a dog.
* In ''Webcomic/TheInexplicableAdventuresOfBob,'' Bob first met Princess Voluptua and the jellyfish creature Ahem when they were trying to escape an unthinkable ArrangedMarriage to one another. Bob's girlfriend Jean is currently convinced that Bob and Voluptua have feelings for one another, despite the fact that Voluptua's [[{{Shapeshifter}} real form]] is a [[StarfishAliens giant insect]] (although her assumed human form is, indeed, ''quite'' attractive).
* ''Webcomic/IngressAdventuringCompany'': [[spoiler: Toivo and Aidan]] shared a relationship in the past, but due to humans and elves aging differently, one looks much older than the other now.
* ''Webcomic/JackTheAmericanGhost:'' Go-Eun, a human, and Jack, a ghost.
* This is a HUGE theme in ''Webcomic/KarateBears''. Here are some examples. [[http://www.karatebears.com/2011/12/sweet-nothings.html A]] [[http://www.karatebears.com/2012/01/dont-pick-up-phone.html B]] [[http://www.karatebears.com/2012/01/dining-etiquette.html C]]
* ''Webcomic/KarinDou4koma'': Elza (human/magician) wonders if having sex with Kinka (coin youkai) counts as this.
* The titular character of ''Webcomic/TheKennyChronicles'' is a fox with black and white catlike fur (apparently there was a wild party). Also most of his girlfriends that have been shown are either foxes or cats (not sure if either of those count), though one was also dating a dog.
** It seems likely that Kenny's half-brother Patrick is also a hybrid of some kind (what species is blue?)
** And now Kenny's dating [[spoiler: as of the last comic married to]] a lemming, whose parents are baboons.
* The central theme of ''Webcomic/KevinAndKell'', although the world of Domain doesn't treat species the same way: the general division is carnivore/herbivore/omnivore (wildcard?)/insectivore. Then again ... Lindesfarne/Fenton and Danielle/George involve [[spoiler:former humans]].
* ''Webcomic/KillSixBillionDemons'': The relationship between Allison (a human from Earth) and Cio (a blue devil) eventually evolves into something between FriendsWithBenefits and an actual couple who are terrible at communicating with each other. On top of their mutual attraction Allison has to deal with being TheChosenOne and trying to [[DistressedDude rescue her ex-boyfriend]], while Cio tries to make Allison a MoralityPet [[TheAtoner to prevent her from going back to her toxic old ways]].
* ''Webcomic/{{Klunscomic}}'': Tajer, a human, is in a committed relationship with Miss B, a member of the B species.
* ''Webcomic/LasLindas'' has a really good amount of interspecies romance. One such romance is Miles, who's a cat and Taffy, who's a rabbit.
* ''Webcomic/LastRes0rt'' features it as a trait of the Celeste to crossbreed between as many species as they can, creating a race that can only be detected by how many wings they happen to have. At least one Celeste's backstory apparently involves a Cult of personality centered around him and the many, many women he tricked into having his children. It's Squicky enough before you even throw in the fact that he's a rather large humanoid (albeit with some feline traits tossed in) and the women he brainwashed were all small, furry, feline-esque Talmi.
* Benny, of ''Webcomic/LookingForGroup'', is often called a "halfbreed", suggesting that her parents were of different species. However, since she was born in prison, the circumstances of her conception may have had very little to do with an actual relationship between her parents and more to do with the less savory aspects of prison life. Benny, herself, was at one point in a relationship with Sayl, a human, and some fans have speculated that there may be a future relationship between her and Cale, an elf.
** Benny's half breed status is confirmed in a dramatic reveal [[http://lfgcomic.com/page/561 here.]]
** [[http://www.lfgcomic.com/page/290 The Benny-Cale pairing is now canon]]. [[http://www.lfgcomic.com/page/291 Canonically consummated, too]].
* The Webcomic ''Love and Tentacles'' by [[http://humon.deviantart.com humon]] is about a relationship between the male human Tom and the female tentacle monster Frida. In-Universe, humans and tentacle monsters livining together is normal, but a relationship between the two species is rare and causes some odd problems for the protagonists.
* Elsseran (a fairy) and Corinn (a human) eloped, running to another world to hide and have kids. Corinn's brother Joralan went to find them, wound up meeting Lettie, and brought her back home as a bride. Fast forward to ''Webcomic/AMagicalRoommate''...
* In ''Webcomic/MagickChicks'', [[EvilRedhead Cerise]] (a witch) briefly pretended to date Callista (a human), [[SocialClimber in order to gain popularity.]] While her [[spoiler: former]] friend and fellow witch, Jacqui, has been seeing Faith's brother, Paul (a human), and using a glamour spell to date Mr. Delatorre (a human magic instructor) at the same time.
* The titular character of ''[[http://www.mandycomics.net Mandy]]'' has the hots for her owner Jeremy, but obviously can't be open about it, so she resolves to showing it in her own subtle ways.
* ''Minions at Work'' has supervillain [[MorallyAmbiguousDoctorate Doctor]] [[LizardFolk Coldblood]], who [[http://www.minionsatwork.com/2009/06/minions-168169-overlord-double-feature.html hates all mammals... but there's GOT to be the exception, right?]]
* Variation in ''Webcomic/{{Misfile}}''. Ash and Rumisiel pretend to be this, which would be Angel/human. However, it's not a real relationship, as Ash only tells her dad the Rumisiel is her boyfriend as an explanation as to why he's living there. Also, none of the humans know he's an angel, except for Ash and Emily and a few others.
* In addition to the various canon couples from [[WesternAnimation/TheOwlHouse the original show]], ''Webcomic/MoringMarkTOHComics'' has Ayzee (the human/witch daughter of Luz and Amity), and Milan (the full witch daughter of Viney and Skara). Of course, it would be pretty much impossible for Ayzee to not do this if she wanted a relationship considering that all of the other hybrids are either related to her or over 60 years her senior. On that note, it's also revealed that one of her ancestors on Amity's side was none other than [[spoiler:Amelia Earhart]], who married a witch after ending up in the Demon Realm.
* In a ''Webcomic/{{Nodwick}}'' story, the protagonists are hired by the human (and very attractive) Queen Bartha to route the army of the orcish chieftain Kurg, who is threatening war on her kingdom. Eventually, however, Nodwick realizes (through a series of {{Sherlock Scan}}s) that Kurg is actually ''courting'' Bartha, the war being a fabrication so they can marry. (Both knew their respective races would never approve of such a marriage unless it was part of a treaty to end a war.) When this is revealed, Bartha's brother remarks it as "17 flavors of disgusting", but she replies she just [[AllGirlsWantBadBoys "digs brutish guys in leather"]].
* ''Webcomic/{{Oglaf}}'': Just... wow. The sheer absurdity of some combinations is mind-blowing. Just as an example, a reoccurring character is the concept of metaphor, expressed as a giraffe with dozens of millipede-like legs, pretending to be various household items in order to seduce a male human. Yeah.
* ''Webcomic/OniGF'': Billy the human and Kirika the oni were betrothed when they were children and have legitimate romantic feelings for each other in the present day.
* Celia and Roy (sylph and human), Nale and Sabine (human and [[SuccubiAndIncubi succubus]]) in ''Webcomic/TheOrderOfTheStick''.
** And then there's the "[[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0555.html very ugly backstory]]" of Therkla the half-orc ninja (human father and orc mother).
** Meanwhile, Roy's mother is [[IWantGrandkids happily anticipating]] the [[HalfHumanHybrid logical consequences]] of Celia and Roy's romance.
--->"''[[http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0600.html want to be able to hear the pitter-patter of little feet -- or the whoosh-whoosh of little wings, as the case may be.]]''"
** [[spoiler: And let's not forget the Draketooth family, which was unfortunately spawned from a relative of the dragon Vaarsuvius cast Familicide on.]]
** Invoked by Elan during an encounter with an Owlbear, suggesting that maybe it was the result of an owl and a bear falling in love.
-->'''Belkar''': [[HotSkittyOnWailordAction If so, I hope the owl was the male and the bear was the female, rather than the other way around. Ouch.]]
* ''Webcomic/OutsideInterference'' has Hollie [rabbit-person] actively shipping Kate [raccoon-person] and Gina [uncertain species] {{Funny Animal}}s all around.
** It's not interspecies if Kate, Hollie and the rest of the cast honestly don't have a clue what species Gina is.
* ''Webcomic/OzyAndMillie'' has very little of this in its past (both leads are revealed as pure descendants of their natural parents, although Ozy is adopted into another home). But then, Ozy's father (dragon) and Millie's mother (fox) get romantically involved, and are now [[strike: getting]] married.
* ''Webcomic/ParallelDementia'' has a zombie/human relationship. Squick!
* ''Webcomic/PennyArcade'' has [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/9/19/ this gem]].
** And [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/9/29/ this one]].
** And [[http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2011/4/1/ once more, with feeling!]]
* ''ComicStrip/ThePerryBibleFellowship'' with [[http://pbfcomics.com/comics/bacon-egg/ Bacon Egg]] and [[http://pbfcomics.com/comics/not_today/ Not Today Little One]].
* ''Webcomic/PetFoolery'': Recurring ''Velociraptor'' character Twig is in love with a ''T. rex'' named Roxy. It seems to be one-sided on his part (Roxy berates him for considering her his girlfriend), but she does rescue him from a ''Carnotaurus'' that was about to eat him.
* ''Webcomic/PicpakDog'': The title character is a pink dog. Picpak's wife is Wakky, a blue cat.
* In the ''[[VideoGame/PokemonRubyAndSapphire Pokémon Emerald]]'' nuzlocke comic ''Goddamn Critical Hits'', two of Thomas' party members are a couple: Pugnus the Machop, who later evolves into a Machoke, and Sara the Numel.
* Almost all of the romance among the secondary characters in ''Webcomic/ProblemSleuth'' falls under this. A few of the pairings are Fiesta Ace Dick and the Demimonde Semigoddess, the Higgs Bozo and the whale, and the Weasel King's marriage to Madame Murel, not to mention Pickle Inspector's homoerotic attraction to [[CompanionCube his fan]].
* ''Webcomic/{{Pupster}}'': Kevin is a raccoon who is in love with Jakata, she is an amazon bird.
* In ''Webcomic/{{Rascals}}'', seen throughout the comic as Nick is a dog and Liona is an ocelot.
* This is apparently very common in the world of ''Webcomic/ReversedStar'', with one of the main characters being the result of InterspeciesRomance and several couples being of different species.
* If we believe the {{Fan Webcomic|s}} ''Webcomic/{{Roommates}}'' and [[Film/{{Labyrinth}} Goblin King Jareth]], maybe TheFairFolk actually [[InvokedTrope Invoke]] [[http://asherhyder.deviantart.com/art/Roommates-88-Relativity-119779422 this]] and [[Theatre/TheMagicFlute The Queen of the Night]] lampshaded the problems with the practice. The comic also has a mixed couple [[Literature/TheErlKing der Erlkönig]]/[[OCStandIn Mrs. (Widow) Norrington]] and it's SpinOff ''Webcomic/GirlsNextDoor'' [[Literature/TheLordOfTheRings Legolas]]/[[{{Muggle}} Cheryl]]. The [[Literature/TheChroniclesOfNarnia Jadis]]/[[Film/{{Legend 1985}} Darkness]] one, while being a CrossoverShip, isn't clearly definable as InterspeciesRomance because of the [[TangledFamilyTree magic family tree]].
* ''Webcomic/SabrinaOnline'' is a rare case when many of the characters are hybrids of interspecies romance to begin with; Zig Zag had a Siberian tiger grandparent, resulting in her signature stripes, [[SpeciesSurname Thomas Wolf]] is actually only half wolf, but it was his mother that was the non-wolf fox, so his name is. More recently, pure skunk Sabrina is in a relationship with pure raccoon R.C., plus at one time had a rabbit StalkerWithACrush. More confusing is the relationship between married couple Thomas Wolf and Amy Squirrel, who have a boy named Timothy Wolf-Squirrel (who is also a quarter fox, remember).
* Wales/New Zealand in ''Webcomic/ScandinaviaAndTheWorld''. Sure, they're both countries, but here's the thing. Wales, like most of the countries, is human. New Zealand is a ''sheep''. They even have a child together, [[HalfHumanHybrid New South Wales.]]
* ''Webcomic/SchlockMercenary'':
** [[https://www.schlockmercenary.com/2000-09-22 Early on]] Schlock, a grey-green BlobMonster, developed a short-lived crush on the human Admiral Breya, expressing a specific desire to have her children. Later it turned out that Schlock's "grandmother" was a human, raising several questions whose eventual answer does ''not'' rhyme with "pentacle rex". Amorphs seem to reproduce asexually and can just study someone's personality traits to produce offspring -- they evolved out of memory banks.
** There was a bit of ShipTease between Captain Tagon (human) and Colonel Ceeta (purp, a HumanSubspecies with photosynthetic skin), but the one time they kissed she was about to have him killed, and [[https://www.schlockmercenary.com/2004-03-07 he decked her immediately after]].
** At one point Elizabeth, a 820-kg gorilla-like alien, kidnaps a human, beats (probably just scares) important information out of him, keeps him prisoner and [[http://www.schlockmercenary.com/2006-03-30 sends a vacation request]] to his boss to go on honeymoon. Everybody believes that, meaning the story isn't too far-fetched for the 31st century.
* While ''Webcomic/SequentialArt'' doesn't have an "official" interspecies pairing, the subject doesn't seem terribly unheard of in-universe. There's no inkling of taboo about the possibility when Kat's old college friend mistakes her and Art for a couple (and Kat later admits that she does find Art attractive).
** A lot of Jolly Jack's bawdier works tend to fall in this zone, with humans becoming sexually involved with furries, as well as furries with different species of furry.
* In ''Webcomic/{{Shadowgirls}}'', [[spoiler:Christmas Snow]]'s parents were a human man and a Deep One female who were genuinely in love. The comic itself is based on Creator/HPLovecraft's "Literature/TheShadowOverInnsmouth", which treated this trope as NauseaFuel (see the InterspeciesRomance/{{Literature}} section).
* ''Webcomic/{{Sinfest}}'' gives us Criminy and Fuchsia, a bookish young man and a [[SuccubiAndIncubi succubus]]. Due to Criminy's IncorruptiblePurePureness, it's resulted in a HighHeelFaceTurn for Fyoosh, though the couple still has to deal with the disapproval of [[BigRedDevil her old boss]] and FantasticRacism of KnightTemplar Seymour.
* ''Webcomic/SlightlyDamned'' has Buwaro, a demon, and Kieri, an angel, [[BeastAndBeauty falling in love]]. This trope has resulted in numerous issues with their relationship.
** The most noteable being the fact Kieri's ''entire'' families' stance on demons is to kill them on sight, no matter how evil they are or if they're ''children.''
** There is also the Mixlings, or "Bitza" (as the in-universe slang calls them), which are basically crossbreeds between two Median species. One character specifically, Toby, is a Hukai (or Jakkai/Human crossbreed).
* In ''Webcomic/SluggyFreelance'' Riff starts hitting on [[Franchise/{{Alien}} Aylee]] the moment she shifts from her dragon-like form to a GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe (complete with NonMammalMammaries). Torg was quite [[{{Squick}} Squicked]] by this.
** Later, Riff explains it was only because when she was suddenly like a woman, he went on autopilot; under the indifferent surface, he has major issues with women and can't deal with most of them normally, but he still manages to get dates by looking cool (or something) and goes trough a lot of girlfriends.
** This is also how Leono [[spoiler:bred his wraith army]]. Aylee was the one to find this {{squick}}y.
** While we've never seen him in an actual relationship, Bun-Bun (a rabbit) does show a sexual interest in human women. It's also [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation debatable]] whether Kiki (a ferret) has romantic feelings for Bun-Bun, or if her affection for him is just part of her general FriendToAllLivingThings personality.
* Jason Love's ''Snapshots'' [[http://www.jasonlove.com/cartoons/00477-daily-cartoons-tree-hugger.gif on those tree-huggers]].
* Monette in ''Webcomic/SomethingPositive'', when she was [[http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp12312001.shtml trying (unsuccessfully) to put men behind her and find a good woman to settle down with]], had a bit of a breakdown [[http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp01042002.shtml and ended up getting arrested in a zoo]]. The most embarrassing part for her was that the koala was ''still a male'' (mildly {{NSFW}} links).
* ''Webcomic/{{Spacetrawler}}'':
** Dmitri just sees Shuar as [[BoldlyComing a hot alien to sleep with]], but Shuar has genuinely fallen in love with him.
*** Dmitri pretty much [[BoldlyComing sleeps his way through the galaxy]]. The closest he comes to a mutual romance is either with Dal, who betrays him, or Haldeyis, who gradually loses interest when Dmitri becomes immersed in his job as [[spoiler:Apex Speaker]].
** Curn (a slimy, betentacled thing) and Oohlooh (a small, birdlike creatures). In this case, they're biologically incompatible--neither can breathe the atmosphere of the other's homeworld, and one or both of them would die if they touched each other.
** Pierrot (human) is courted by a Qiyemp female. It doesn't work between them.
** After Martina is driven into hiding, she moves in with the hermit grub-alien Luunock [[spoiler: who is murdered in an attempt to capture Martina]]. Nogg has to do some hasty back-pedaling when he realizes Martina's father doesn't want to hear exactly [[HotSkittyOnWailordAction how close they were]].
** Reptilian hitman Growp finds his mutual enmity with Emily becoming a crush, and [[spoiler:takes a laser for her]].
* Relationships between humans and monsters in the world of ''Webcomic/StepMonster'' are rare, and controversial amongst monsters, but not unheard of. Monster protagonist Matilda starts dating a human neighbor (and [[OfficeRomance her boss at the local convenience store where she works]]) Roy after he stands up for her sake against her BigBrotherBully Gordon.
* In ''Webcomic/StubbleTrouble'', most of the furry characters are in interspecies romances. A few of the characters like Rennon (fox/wolf), Ally (cat/fox), and Gynette (jackal/spider [[spoiler: and demon]]) are hybrids from their respective parents. Rosie (a Rottweiler) and Jeremy (a human) are in a relationship.
* ''Tally Road'' leans on this trope very heavily, too - working the angle that for most of the cultures involved, this interspecies screwing is both perverse and fairly common. There's literally a cat-house on a wolf planet (or 'Nerre-house' on a 'Runge' planet) and one of the cat ladies argues against getting into kink clients, pointing out that they are not kinky so much as they are exotic and different in the 'Runge' context. Another feline, in a moment of frustration, sighs at being 'judged by shaggy animals', upsetting his wolf companion and giving a tip-off of the cats' unspoken attitudes towards other species.
* PlayedForLaughs in ''Webcomic/{{Tallyho}}''. With Siegfried (a basset hound) and a rabbit (which combines this MayDecemberRomance; Siegfried is ''ancient'') and the fox and a female Doberman (combining HugeGirlTinyGuy).
* ''Webcomic/{{Terinu}}'' has the alien title character falling for Gwen, a human girl his own age. In a canon text story by the comic's author, a human girl also apparently has a long-running affair and eventually becomes engaged to a vulpine.
* ''Webcomic/TryingHuman''. We have TheGreys / humans (at least two, more probably three couples), LizardFolk/humans (one steady relationship, one guy who just thinks he's TheCasanova), one past relationship [[HumanAliens Nordic]] / human, and we haven't even seen all the alien species out there yet.
* ''Webcomic/TwentyFirstCenturyFox'' has a bat and a mouse in a romantic relationship and even discusses how they can have children when they're not genetically compatible.
* The entire plot of ''Webcomic/{{Twokinds}}'' is built around this trope.
* In ''Webcomic/VinciAndArty'', the titular couple consists of a male Raccoon and his Yumar (aquatic cheetah) mate, though they're not the only example in that comic.
* In ''Webcomic/TheWhiteboard'', there are Jake (skunk) and Pirta (snow leopard) as a couple and more recently Howie (wolf) and Kasi's mom (cheetah). Plus, most of Doc's blind dates weren't bears. The other pairings so far are within the same species or close species (two subspecies of fox, two species of lynx).
* From ''Webcomic/WTFComics'': Anna and Smoke, Solkan and Vexana, Niami and Ngreth, and, possibly, Straha and Maguna.
* All over the place in ''Webcomic/YetAnotherFantasyGamerComic''. How acceptable they are seems to depend on the place they're living in and the combination of species. Elves and halflings seem to be viewed generally as acceptable partners for humans, whereas orcs are not.
** Bob the beholder and Gren the goblin; the beginning of their romance was actually the first StoryArc of the comic. Their parents are not happy about it, but other than that, they don't suffer repercussions.
*** Bob also had some flings with several harpies going on.
** Arachne the Drow and Jais the Dark Mistress, though it's not known which species Jais originally belonged to before she began her profession. She looks quite human though.
** A teenage romance spins between Yapp the gnoll and Sittica the Drow girl.
** Goria the orc lady had a child with a human man; so did orc lady Maula Bloodhand with human baron Owen Grayfort. Their respective half-orc offspring have to suffer a lot of HalfBreedDiscrimination from both humans and orcs.
*** On a more historical account, human Queen Glamor having two half-orc daughters triggered a ''civil war''.
** Owen's adopted human son, Lucas Grayfort, eventually enters into a relationship with half-elf Cadugan. [[spoiler:Later on, they are married.]]
*** Cadugan has a half-human / half-Satyr brother and an (off-screen) Halfling half-sister, and possibly some more - his mother had [[SerialSpouse plenty]] romances with members of all sorts of species.
** Halfling Clover Firelight married human King Eric.
** There's also Turg the minotaur who hooks up with [[HotSkittyOnWailordAction the Sphynx]].
* In ''Webcomic/YokokasQuest'', humans and demons are able to produce HalfHumanHybrid offspring, such as Yokoka and Mao. Beasts and Spirits are able to produce hybrid offspring, such as Yfa and his siblings, though it hasn't quite been explained how that works.
* In ''Webcomic/ZiggyPigAndSillySeal2022,'' Silly Seal is married to Roxanne, a sexy LadyInAPowerSuit.
* Given the amount of different species in ''Webcomic/{{Zoophobia}}'', this is bound to happen. However, it's implied that not everyone approves.
