* Connor of ''VideoGame/AssassinsCreedIII'' is young, passionate, and something of a WideEyedIdealist. He views the world through a lens where injustice must not be tolerated, at any cost, and so has a tendency to charge headlong into situations without thinking. This gets him in a lot of trouble.
* Asura from ''VideoGame/AsurasWrath'' is so hot blooded that he can [[spoiler: punch and destroy a finger from A PLANET SIZED BUDDHA, all while giving out guttural roars and screams. And destroys it]]. English voice Actor Creator/LiamOBrien makes him sound even MORE HotBlooded.
** Made even more impressive by the fact that, while O'Brien plays badasses all the time, they tend to be the cool, calm, and collected type. Who knew that even the God Of All Voice Actors was capable of playing against type so well?
* Minsc from ''Franchise/BaldursGate''.
** "The bigger they are, the harder I hit!"
** "Butt-kicking... FOR GOODNESS!!!"
** "Go for the eyes, Boo. GO FOR THE EYES! RARRGH!!"
* ''VideoGame/BangaiO'':
** Riki Makishi. Then again, he is native of a planet [[PlanetOfHats populated by hot-blooded men]].
** Everyone in ''Bangai-O Spirits'', the lighthearted, plot-free DS spinoff, in different ways. Ruri is more enthusiastic, especially when the time comes to shout [[TransformationNameAnnouncement "Bangai-O GO!"]], while Masato thinks the whole thing is stupid. On the other hand, he's very confident, reckless, always ready to get to the mission already.
* Gorath from ''VideoGame/BetrayalAtKrondor''. He'll get it done. It doesn't matter what he has to go through or sacrifice to do it.
* Bang Shishigami from ''Franchise/BlazBlue''.
** "QUICKER THAN THE WIND AND AS STILL AS THE FOREST! HOTTER THAN FLAMES AND MORE MAGNIFICANT THAN A MOUNTAIN!"
** When one of Bang's specials, [[spoiler:Fuurinkazan, which the above is taken from,]] is unleashed, the background music is replaced with ''his very own theme song'' performed by -- of all people -- '''''JAM PROJECT.''''' (Or more specifically, Hironobu Kageyama.)
** Also, when using his astral finish, his burning passion ends up burning his clothes off.
** Not just Bang either. There's [[BigBad Haz]][[EvilIsHammy ama]], [[GenkiGirl Mak]][[MsFanservice oto]]... Be honest, here: ''VideoGame/BlazBlue'' is a JustForFun/TropeOverdosed WorldOfHam filled with HotBlooded HamToHamCombat. Every character except [[TheStoic Rachel, Valkenhayn and Relius]] have their HotBlooded moments.
* Garlot of ''VideoGame/BlazeUnion''; it seems to be a requirement for a young freedom fighter such as himself to be passionate and reckless to a fault. [[VideoGame/YggdraUnion Three years later]], he's ''still like this'', charging into lots of things scythe-first. Interestingly enough, his blood also happens to be hot as well. [[spoiler:More apparent once he's changed his name to Gulcasa, he's physically more demon than human, as a true descendant of the demon dragon Brongaa. Burning blood, superhuman strength, and (while exerting his full power) an actual aura of fire happen to be side effects.]]
* [[TestosteronePoisoning Mister]] [[LargeHam Torgue]] from ''VideoGame/Borderlands2'' is a [[NoIndoorVoice loud]] and [[BoisterousBruiser lively]] PsychopathicManchild who, while [[GentleGiant kind]], [[HonestCorporateExecutive honest]], and [[NiceGuy civil]], does everything with oodles of passion and no subtlety whatsoever. Even his ''politeness'' is enthusiastic and noisy.
* Eddie Riggs of ''VideoGame/BrutalLegend'', especially since he's leading an army built upon ThePowerOfRock as well as being played by Creator/JackBlack.
--> '''[[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments "DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!"]]'''
* ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}''
** Richter Belmont (''VideoGame/CastlevaniaRondoOfBlood''/ ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaDraculaX'', ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaSymphonyOfTheNight'').
** Also [[VideoGame/CastlevaniaOrderOfEcclesia Albus]] and [[VideoGame/CastlevaniaPortraitOfRuin Jonathan Morris]].
* The new Willpower power set in ''VideoGame/CityOfHeroes'' allows for characters that have [[BadassNormal no super reflexes or resistance]], but can remain up and fighting with the super-powered through sheer force of will. If that's not Hot Blooded, I don't know what is.
* Alex, the protagonist of [[VideoGame/{{TCT RPG}} The Colour Tuesday,]] is a hotheaded, brash delinquent whose burning drive, implacable idealism and willingness to keep going where others give up is what drives the story at times, even as it makes her rather stubborn (in an [[OnlySaneMan Only Sane Woman-ish]] sort of way) and at times a little obnoxious.
-->'''Bella:''' "Also, you have no tact."
* Jin Saotome from ''VideoGame/{{Cyberbots}}''. ''Especially'' in his ''VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom2'' incarnation, in which most of his kicks and punches are ''on fire''! Even better, you can mash some buttons when taunting to make him wipe his towel on his back faster and faster until he's practically screaming his lungs out and on fire.
* Asuma Shidou from ''VideoGame/DaemonBride'' fights with his PowerFist burning on fire and is always yelling with full of hot blood when attacking.
* Laharl and Flonne from ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea|HourOfDarkness}}'', and Adell and Axel from ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 2|CursedMemories}}''. And then there's '''Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth!''', who is guaranteed to give it his exclamation-point abusing all no matter what it is. Including [[MundaneMadeAwesome picnicking]].
** ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 3|AbsenceOfJustice}}'' gives us Champloo-sensei, the most badass, HotBlooded ''Home Ec'' teacher you will ever find.
** Valvatorez takes the crown in ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 4|APromiseUnforgotten}}'', pouring extreme amounts of passion in whatever he does, be it giving a RousingSpeech, StormingTheCastle, [[GrammarNazi correcting grammar]], or [[TrademarkFavoriteFood eating sardines]].
* ''VideoGame/DragonQuest'':
** ''VideoGame/DragonQuestV'': Parry, the Hero's son [[spoiler:and ''real'' Chosen Hero]] is passionate, bold and reckless. Amusingly, if [[HiddenHeartOfGold Debora]] is his mother, it's implied he gets it from ''her''.
** In ''VideoGame/DragonQuestMonsters'', the monsters' ideal personality (which affects their AI) is Hotblood.
* It's easier to mention which characters are NOT hot blooded in [[VideoGame/DynastyWarriors Koei's]] ''[[VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors Warriors]]'' [[VideoGame/WarriorsOrochi series]]. ''VideoGame/WarriorsOrochi'' in particular has so much hot blood (being a fusion of both ''VideoGame/{{Dynasty| Warriors}}'' and ''VideoGame/{{Samurai| Warriors}}''), it's amazing the games' boxes didn't melt off the shelves.
* Another Creator/{{Koei|Tecmo}} series that should by all rights have melted a hole through store shelves is ''VideoGame/DynastyWarriorsGundam.'' The list of Hot Blooded crazies over in the Gundam list from the HotBlooded/MechaAnimeAndManga section is a good starting point. A short list of playable pilots who bury the needle, in regards to their personalities: Domon Kasshu, Graham Aker (as Mister Bushido), Garrod Ran, Angelo Sauper, Kamille Bidan, Judau Ashta, Dozle Zabi, Gym Ghingham, Cagalli Yula Atha, Yzak Joule, Shinn Asuka, Setsuna F. Seiei, and the Knight Gundam (yes, the Gundam itself).
* Though it's a bit more subdued than most examples, the Nords of ''VideoGame/TheElderScrollsVSkyrim'' definitely have shades of this, especially the old-fashioned Stormcloaks, who will walk over whatever rules or enemies get in their way in order to fulfill their understanding of right while charging you screaming and with a huge battleaxe.
%%* ''VideoGame/EvilZone'': Danzaiver!
* Fawkes from ''VideoGame/Fallout3'' is extremely passionate both about philosophy and about [[WarriorPoet ripping evil doers to shreds.]]
* Kim Kaphwan and his son Kim Jae Hoon from the ''VideoGame/FatalFury'' series, as well as Joe Higashi, who seems to have an exclamation point at the end of everything he says and the bandana-wearing commando Ralf Jones, also of ''VideoGame/IkariWarriors'', ''VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters'', and ''VideoGame/MetalSlug'' fame. When he gets in motion (which is practically ''all the time''), people get beat down. Sometimes [[StuffBlowingUp explosively]].
* Zell in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'', and he ''never'' sits still. Put him anywhere near GenkiGirl Selphie and you'll be wishing for Ritalin.
* Zack of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'' is a prime example of this trope, [[spoiler:depressingly]].
** Which is highlighted even further by contrast against the [[CrapsackWorld dark and dreary nature of the world]] the game takes place in, and the general angst of other characters in the game world (especially in the expanded games and movie).
** Does Cid from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII'' count?
** And Barret during Midgar arc.
* [[BraggartBoss Gilgamesh]] in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyV''. The only time he isn't hyped about fighting the heroes is when he's [[GoldfishPoopGang running away like a pansy, having been royally trumped]].
* Firion from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyII'' is given this characterisation in ''VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy''. When activating his SuperMode, he even shouts: "I FEEL IT IN ''MY BLOOD''!"
** This might be more of a reference to the fact that his SuperMode changes his weapons into Blood weapons, which drain enemy HP on hit.
* Then there's Snow Villiers from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII'', despite being AnIcePerson.
* ''VideoGame/FireEmblem'':
** Hector of Ostia and Dart the Pirate from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade'' are both aggressive, boisterous warriors.
*** The game's FinalBoss, the [[KillItWithFire Fire]] [[OurDragonsAreDifferent Dragon,]] [[PlayedForHorror plays this trope for horror,]] as it's a raging and hateful beast that [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge vowed vengeance on the heroes who slayed it's kin by burning their bones into dust.]]
** In ''VideoGame/FireEmblemTheSacredStones'', Ross the Journeyman is a wild, impetuous youth, and the Berserker Dozla is a lively spirit.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemPathOfRadiance'' and ''[[VideoGame/FireEmblemRadiantDawn Radiant Dawn]]'' have Kieran, [[IncomingHam SECOND-IN-COMMAND OF THE CRIMEAN ROYAL KNIGHTS]], who's utterly incapable of cooling his blood.
** Quite a few characters in ''VideoGame/FireEmblemAwakening'' sound like this in their critical quotes, some more than others but especially the males, yet no one can deny that the grandmaster of all things Hot Blooded in the entire damn franchise is Owain, aka '''HE WHOSE SWORD HAND THIRSTS FOR BLOOD AND BATTLE, AND WHOSE NAME SHALL BE FOREVER REMEMBERED IN THE SAGAS!'''
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'':
*** On the Nohr side, Owain's {{expy}} Odin is basically what Owain would be like were he a BlackMage instead of a Swordsman. Even his personal skill is based on his hot blood, greatly increasing his CriticalHit ratio if he's given a tome that fulfills some special criteria. [[spoiler:Ultimately justified, since Odin '''is''' Owain, who alongside Laslow/Inigo and Selena/Severa has come to to Nohr...]]
*** On the Hoshido side, there's Prince Ryoma, his retainer Saizo, [[spoiler:Ryoma's son]] Shiro, and the swordsman Hinata. All of them are passionate, emotional, and very powerful fighters on top of that.
** ''VideoGame/FireEmblemEchoesShadowsOfValentia'' has Forsyth who's very, very passionate about pretty much everything he does. It's also the main reason he finds his partner and best friend [[TheSlacker Python]] so baffling.
* [[VideoGame/GanbareGoemon Goemon]] is a hotblooded man of Edo ([[{{UsefulNotes/Kawaisa}} despite his looks]]), who is always itching to beat the snot out of villains with his trusty pipe when they cause trouble. When the Japanese title of his series has "Ganbare" ("Do your best/Hang in there") in it, it's to be expected.
* In ''VideoGame/GemsOfWar'', Sapphira, the local quest-giver, is rather impulsive and reckless; after she was attacked by religious warriors, her response was to immediately attack the nearest town and burn down its temple, ignoring both short-term outnumbered-ness and long-term consequences. (As her card's text says: "Not all vampires are evil, some are just crazy.")
* ''VideoGame/GodOfWar'''s main protagonist Kratos is [[NoIndoorVoice shouting ALL THE TIME]]. Plus the way he fights is just raw brutality (often ending with him ripping his target to literal shreds with his bare hands).
* In ''VideoGame/GoldenSun'' games, this is a typical trait of [[PlayingWithFire Mars]] [[PersonalityPowers Adepts]]. In ''[[VideoGame/GoldenSunDarkDawn Dark Dawn]]'', Karis is also mentioned to have a fiery personality for a [[BlowYouAway Jupiter Adept]].
%%* A soccer freak whose name is [[VideoGame/InazumaEleven Endou Mamoru.]]
* ''VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising'': Pit is a passionate and energetic angel who is easily agitated and overexcited -- at one point, he even does a ''really'' over-the-top InTheNameOfTheMoon speech before battling Pandora.
* ''Franchise/{{Kirby}}'' brings us the hot-blooded priestess [[VideoGame/KirbyStarAllies Flamberge]], a FieryRedhead who is described as raining fiery vengeance upon those who oppose her, especially if they happen to mess with fellow Mage-Sister Francisca. She loves to convey her emotions by shouting, and fittingly enough, [[HairTriggerTemper tends to get pissed off very easily]].
* Any Link from any ''[[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Legend of Zelda]]'' game can count, at least in battle. Otherwise, [[HeroicMime he's rather quiet]].
* Bowser in ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiBowsersInsideStory'' is this when he's not a ButtMonkey. The game mixes his normal bullheaded determination with outright heroic courage, including some passionate {{Victory Pose}}s that include chest pounding for pulling off successful special attacks, pumping his fist for victory and a BadassArmfold for [[spoiler:when he's about to pull off a FinishingMove on the FinalBoss]]. His lines are also like this, especially his ShutUpHannibal moments.
* Commander Shepard (both Paragon and Renegade) of ''Franchise/MassEffect'', to such a degree that [[TheWoobie Tali]] [[LampshadeHanging gets a line about how fun it is to watch him/her yell]]. Also Zaeed Massani, all the way. He survives being shot in the head at point-blank range SOLELY because he wanted to kill the guy who shot him.
* [[AllThereInTheManual According to secondary material]], Fire Man from the original ''VideoGame/MegaMan'' game has a HotBlooded personality. This is his major character quirk in ''VideoGame/MegaManPoweredUp''. He's constantly screaming at the top of his lungs about [[KillItWithFire fire,]] [[JusticeWillPrevail justice]] or [[ForGreatJustice some combination thereof]]. He also yells "ON FIRE!" every few attacks.
* Nearly all of the fire bosses in the ''VideoGame/MegaManZero'' and ''[[VideoGame/MegaManZX ZX]]'' series are pretty HotBlooded, including the fire master, Fefnir. Oddly, near the top of the HotBlooded ranking for all six games is an ''ice'' boss, Fenri Lunedge from ''Zero 4''. His attitude to Zero, and more importantly his voice clips, put him probably right under Fefnir himself.
** Another HotBlooded ice boss is Chilldre Inarrabita, to a lesser extent than Fenri Lunaedge. Although he has a partial excuse in being a deliberately juvanille character (Chilldre = child[ren] + chill).
* ''VideoGame/MetalGear''. ''[[ParrotExposition Metal Gear]]?'' There's Snake, Liquid, all the bosses (especially Raging Raven and Fury), even Otacon gets his moments. Usually paired with large amounts of SayMyName.
** With ''VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance'', Raiden, of all people, has now become this.
* Michael Wilson from ''VideoGame/MetalWolfChaos'':
--> "Nothing is POINTLESS! And the reason is.....because I'm the President.... of [[PatrioticFervor THE GREAT UNITED STATES OF AMERICA]]! ''[[BigYes YEEAAAHHHH]]!''"\
\
"[[BadassBoast HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW]]!?!"
* ''VideoGame/NeedForSpeedMostWanted'': Exaggerated with [[FightingIrish Roland "Ronnie" McCrea]] whose [[{{Jerkass}} repulsiveness]] and wild temper will make you sick. A rare example of this trope used for someone who's Hot-Bloodedness is purposely insufferable.
* ''VideoGame/OsuTatakaeOuendan'': If you're in trouble... if there's not enough hotbloodedness... maybe you need to call... OUENDAAAAAN!
** Or... e... b... a... e.. b.. a.. e. b. a. e.b.a. E.B.A. EBA! EBA! EBA! EBA! [[VideoGame/EliteBeatAgents ARE YOU READY]]? YEAH!
** The sequel to Ouendan is titled ''Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii'' which translates to "Burn! Hot-Blooded Rhythm Soul!"
** "Hot-blooded manly passion" is a major aesthetic element of Japanese cheerleading ''in real life'', though obviously not to the '''''EXTREMES''''' -- like [[spoiler:stopping a meteor or reviving a burning-out sun]] - that this series in particular takes it.
* Hoo boy, Ryuji from ''VideoGame/Persona5'' certainly counts.
* Hop from ''VideoGame/PokemonSwordAndShield'' is so eager to become a Pokémon Trainer that he trains hard every day in hopes that he can become the new champion of the Galar region, and often jumps at the opportunity for a friendly battle to see how much he's grown as a trainer himself. Whenever he Dynamaxes his Pokémon, he throws his Poké Balls with so much force that he nearly falls over in the process of doing so.
* In ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyoQuest'', Atari has such a passion for her job as a spacetime detective that it tends to get in the way of her actually executing her job properly, as she jumps head-first into everything.
* Batsu Ichimonji from ''VideoGame/RivalSchools'' is described [[AllThereInTheManual in the manual]] as the "Hot-Blooded [[NewTransferStudent Exchange Student]]". Furthermore, his SuperMode form in ''Project Justice'' is called "Burning Batsu" and all his special and super moves in that form set the opponent on fire!
** PE teacher Hayato's surname tells it all, and him having a super move named Burning Stoic that essentially [[NighInvulnerability makes him impervious to everything one can throw at him]] is a nice bonus. In his CombinationAttack, he manifests his partner's Hot-Bloodedness into a [[CombinedEnergyAttack Genki Dama]] and ''launches'' it at the enemy.
* ''VideoGame/RiverCityRansom'':
** Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun -- He has "Hot Blooded" right there in his series title! His whole ''high school'' is named "Nekketsu". That's one bad-ass high school.
** And Kunio/Alex himself is the hero of the school, being summoned whenever a crisis emerges or a sports challenge comes up. His girlfriend can kick ass when she feels like it. Kunio/Alex isn't as known and respected as he should be, in video games...
* In ''VideoGame/{{Ryzom}}'', player-characters can get pretty loud when they engage in melee combat with an enemy, even if said enemy is something that the character would easily kill in one hit. As far as the lore goes, the Fyros as a race are this, being the ProudWarriorRace and enjoying doing everything with gusto and enthusiasm (and also enjoying the occasional fight).
* In the ''VideoGame/SakuraWars'' series, you can choose what Ogami's (and [[VideoGame/SakuraWarsSoLongMyLove Shinjiro's]]) responses to various questions/circumstances are. Usually, the most proactive one will have a frame of Ogami/Shinjiro shouting with flames in the background. The hotblooded choice isn't ''always'' the right choice, but more often than not it is.
** The more you select Ogami's hotblooded answers in ''VideoGame/SakuraWars'', the better you're probably doing. [=SpiritArmor's=] LetsPlay of it parodies this to great effect.
* ''VideoGame/SamuraiShodown'' My Boiling Blood Bubbles For Battle
** Arguably many of KOEI's ''VideoGame/DynastyWarriors'' and ''VideoGame/SamuraiWarriors'' characters, mixed with BloodKnight and BoisterousBruiser.
** It was practically one of the criteria for a mission Ox and Kirikou took on. While we didn't see how it went, it was apparently successful.
* ''VideoGame/SengokuBasara'': Sanada Yukimura's soul is '''on fire with PASSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'''
* Vyse and Aika in ''VideoGame/SkiesOfArcadia'', among many others.
* Red from ''VideoGame/{{Solatorobo}}''. Elh outright calls him "hot-headed", and he only solves ''one'' of the three riddles for the [[spoiler:Flute]], settling the first two with violence. Frequently [[HonorBeforeReason charges in without thinking]], and says some pretty cheesy things with a straight face. It helps that he's voiced by Creator/TetsuyaKakihara.
* Sonic and Knuckles from ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' are pretty good examples, but in different ways. Sonic is cheeky and quick to taunt his opponents, as well as being a rather BoisterousBruiser when in the heat of battle. Knuckles has quite the HairTriggerTemper and always quick to solve things with violence. The two of them get along rather well surprisingly, [[VitriolicBestBuds most of the time]].
* Wataru Hoshi from ''Star Trigon''.
** ''"With names like Hoshi and Big Bang, we're '''DESTINED TO BE IN OUTER SPACE!!!!"'''''.
* ''Franchise/StreetFighter'''s Dan Hibiki. "DOUSHITA DOUSHITA?!" "OYAJIIIIIIIII!!!!" It's probably no coincidence that Dan's seiyuu in ''4'' also voices Hayato Saionji in ''Ouendan 2'', mentioned above.
%%** Rainbow Mika, from the same series.
* Perhaps the strongest force in the ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' series, rivaled only by the Ideon Gun. In fact, one of the most useful special skills in the series is the "Valor" skill (Doubles the strength of your next attack), which in the original Japanese was called, you guessed it, "Nekketsu" (Hot Blood). In fact, damn near every character in the OriginalGeneration games uses it, even the ''shy'' ones.
** Not just ''OriginalGeneration''; a good number of the licensed anime characters get Valor/Hot Blood, including the primary cast of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamWing'', which consists of TheStoic, TheQuietOne, one BrokenHero, an ArrogantKungFuGuy, and a cute little boy.
** ''Original Generations'', which adds voice acting to the games, shows that the [[BadassNormal Gespenst Mk II S]] turns everybody Hot-Blooded with it's signature LimitBreak, the Ultimate Gespenst Kick. Seriously. Not only does it have [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5Z3DIbrtR0 the shy girls screaming their lungs out]], but the characters who are already Hot-Blooded [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcoMQ2ubyKs turn that sucker up to twenty-two]].
** Special mention to the normally stoic Kyosuke Nanbu; once he performs the maneuver he will shout out the attack name so hot-bloodedly. It is good to note that [[Creator/ToshiyukiMorikawa his seiyuu]] did break ''two'' microphones on separate occasions. See examples [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcoMQ2ubyKs from one of the games here]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OcwkRpuHuA here for the anime version]]
*** ''[[AnimeOfTheGame The Inspectors]]'', makes this a JustifiedTrope: when the attack is ready to launch, the control panel flashes over with the verbal command to unleash the attack: "'''''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OcwkRpuHuA SHOUT NOW!!]]'''''"
*** From the same game, Katina Tarask. With Attacker, Revenge (both of which increase her attack/retaliation damage once her Will level exceeds 130 - see above) and Prevail (which makes her fight better -- dealing more damage, taking less, and evading more -- as her mech sustains more and more damage) and the aforementioned Valor skill, she can deal out some serious hurt, usually yelling all the time (although not as much as Sanger), even when attacking carriers. "Reckless" barely describes her.
----> "I SAID, '''''GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!'''''"
** ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' also quantifies this in the form of the "Will" stat. It starts each battle at 100 and can rise to 150 based on the tides of battle. It affects combat ability a quite a lot (each point of Will is like having your Attack, Defense, Accuracy, and Evasiveness all boost by one percent of their base amount), and certain weapons and effects can only be used over a certain Will value. Certain events (like some ''Anime/GaoGaiGar'' events) will boost this up to '''200''' or even '''''250''''', and that's before any spirit commands.
** However, the crowning glory of the ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWars'' series for Hot Blooded characters is Sanger Zonvolt. The series' self-styled (but highly deserving of it) Sword That Cleaves Evil, Sanger takes on all comers and ''owns them all''. Always wielding some form of his Colossal Blade, a gigantic mecha sword that is sometimes THREE TIMES AS LARGE as his mecha, his sword is one that can cut through anything. Also armed with his many idioms and sayings, which he yells right before slicing his poor enemy in half.
---> "I AM SANGER ZONVOLT! '''THE SWORD THAT CLEAVES EVIL!'''"
** Sanger's HeterosexualLifePartner Rätsel Feinschmecker might initially look like a Blue Oni to Sanger's Red, but then things like [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DX_IaXs5YQ this]] happen and prove that he's only a blue by virtue of Sanger being even ''more'' hot blooded.
** Really, Super Robot Wars is absolutely loaded with characters like these. In addition to Sanger and Katina, there's also Touma Kanou (who got so hot blooded at one point that he lost control and went on a rampage), and Folka and Fernando Albark, '''''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmFEXNpmCLA the Grand Masters]]''''' of martial arts. Though we haven't really met him yet, presumably Folka's {{Expy}} Aledy Naash will also be like this when VideoGame/EndlessFrontier EXCEED comes out.
** Even without the absolute awesomeness of Takuma Terashima's voice, Fighter Roar proved how hotblooded he was by taking out HumongousMecha ''ON FOOT...'' and ''then'' we get him in the Compatible Kaiser and things just go nuts. [[spoiler: Then it gets upgraded to the G-Compatible Kaiser, and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xliM7ge7EQ THIS]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy4JNEDd8xU happens]].]]
** Ryusei's character description says he's an "EXTREMELY hot blooded young man". He proves it in spades.
** Even characters from other series that are featured in ''Super Robot Wars'' are instantly turned into Hot Blooded badasses. Notable mention goes to ''Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion'''s Shinji in the ''Alpha'' series, where he went from a [[TookALevelinBadass spineless wimp to an asskicking god]].
** Like Bullet says "Let's go Hot Blooded LEVEL MAX ! UMASUGI WAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE !"
** ''VideoGame/SuperRobotWarsX'': [[Characters/SuperRobotWarsX Iori Iolite]] is of the {{Kuudere}} Type-1 variant. Iori mentioned he doesn’t have the AwesomeEgo to proclaim philosophies straight to people’s faces like [[Anime/TheBraveExpressMightGaine Might]] and [[Anime/MashinHeroWataruSeries Wataru]].
* In ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'', the fire of the Falcon Punch really reflects [[VideoGame/FZero Captain Falcon's]] hot bloodedness. He is [[TheComicallySerious not like this at all]] in his home series.
* ''VideoGame/TalesSeries''
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfPhantasia'' has Cless begin the trend, pretty hot-blooded when [[DoomedHometown his home gets destroyed]], his parents get killed and his best friend's little sister, too. He will follow you to the end of the earth and through time to stop you... [[{{Narm}} DHAOS]]!!
** ''VideoGame/TalesOfDestiny'': Stahn Aileron. The boy can be hot-blooded when commanding his allies to flee. His battle cry in ''Satsugeki Bukouken''/''Final Fury'' is '''''ORENENENENENENENENENENE!!!!!!''''' Hot Blood, to the max.
** Lloyd of ''VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia'' is very hot-blooded when provoked or his friends are threatened. He declares war on the Desians out of anger and outright said he desired to kill all of them. He also had little quarrels about beating an angel to death after he took the soul of his childhood friend, kept attacking a person who could easily own the entire party out of irritation. Granted, he cools down as the game goes on and he is nearly a stoic in the sequel, but he can still fly off the handle if he is angry enough.
** [[VideoGame/TalesOfRebirth Tytree Crowe]] "SISTER! ! !" (plus points for being voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi)
* ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'' features [[WorldOfHam a cast comprised of pork products]], but among them the most passionate has to be the Soldier, hands down. A complete [[PsychoForHire psychopath]] driven by PatrioticFervor and an understanding of reality so that is so absurd it defies explanation or logic, he also manages to demonstrate a driving force of will that even his larger [[StealthPun comrade]] the Heavy cannot muster. Every other word out of his mouth exits [[NoIndoorVoice at the top of his lungs]] and his tactics can often be described as "I will [[ViolationOfCommonSense point this rocket launcher at my feet]] and [[RocketJump launch myself skyward]] to catch the enemy off guard!" Even when losing, he doesn't seem to understand concepts like despair or surrender, and instead berates his team for not trying harder. A domination line to the enemy Pyro [[LampshadeHanging lampshades]]:
-->'''Soldier''': You cannot burn me. I am already ablaze with passion '''for war'''!
* From ''VideoGame/TotalOverdose'', the protagonist Ram, aka 'El Gringo Loco', is more hotblooded than his father. A great deal of accurate puns follow from the name 'Ram'.
* Undyne of the Royal Guard from ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'', who does everything with maximum passion. She will randomly suplex a boulder in the middle of fights ''just because she can.'' This extends to her social interactions (making her a LargeHam), and even her theme, Spear of Justice, seems full of energy.
** By extension, Papyrus is also this after hanging around Undyne for so long, except he mixes it with his enormous CloudCuckoolander tendencies, which leads to him being being very enthusiastic about his weird ideas.
* [[TheHero Avan Hardins]] from ''VideoGame/ValkyriaChroniclesII''. He won't be out of place in a HumongousMecha series.
** Anika from ''VideoGame/ValkyriaChroniclesIII'' is a female version. Also a {{Reconstruction}} of the concept, too.
* ''VideoGame/TheWorldEndsWithYou'': Beat. Period. Especially when someone touches his Sis or [[BerserkButton mentions his full name...]]
* ''VideoGame/WrathUnleashed'': Epothos; appropriate for a god of Fire and leader of the Light Chaos faction.
* Blazion from ''VideoGame/YokaiWatch'' is a hot-blooded, fire-themed {{yokai}} who possesses the power to make people extremely motivated.
