* The fact that Jason instinctively wanted to stick up for Piper when she was being bullied, and the only reason he doesn't intervene is because Leo points out that Piper prefers to fight her own battles. Also serves as an EstablishingCharacterMoment for all three of them.
* The sheer volume of people participating in the search for Percy, ranging from close friends like Grover to Thalia and her Hunters -- even though her friendship with him has pushed the envelope in regards to their rules about men in the past.
* Annabeth giving Piper a private tour of camp because she knows the other girl won't want a crowd around when she realizes that she and Jason .
* Jason's genuine concern for Piper when she passes out from the strain of Hera's vision. Though he doesn't remember the two of them being together, he feels close to her after what happened at the Grand Canyon.
* Also him deliberately not making a move on her at the campfire because he doesn't want her to think he's only hitting on her because she has the blessing of Aphrodite. Cute as hell, especially when you consider the scene from Piper's POV... in which she's really hoping he'll make a move.
* Annabeth promising to keep Jason's secret, even though she barely knows him and Thalia is one of her closest friends, until he tells her he's comfortable with other people knowing.
* Lacy and Mitchell treating Piper with genuine kindness, and showing her the force for good that Cabin 10 has the potential to be.
* Most of Piper's interactions with her dad. He may be absent a lot and she may act out because of it, but when they actually get to spend time together, it's clear they love each other more than anything.
** Though it crosses into tearjerker territory when you consider the result, the reason Tristan went to the mountains alone without alerting the press is because he believed that Piper was in danger.
* Piper giving up a shot at saving her father to save Leo and Jason from Medea -- one of the first steps to The Seven becoming TrueCompanions.
* Piper's dad explaining her name after her second-grade classmates told her Piper Cherokee was a kind of aeroplane:
--->Tristan: No, Pipes. Fine aeroplane. That's not how I named you. Grandpa Tom picked out your name. First time he heard you cry, he said you had a powerful voice - better than any reed flute piper. He said you'd learn to sing the hardest Cherokee songs, even the snake song.
* Hephaestus defying Zeus' orders by contacting Leo for the first time. Though Leo's understandably angry with him for being a DisappearedDad deadbeat, he reveals that he's been watching over Leo for his entire life, and chose this moment to reach out because he knew that Leo needed him.
** When Festus dies at the hands of Khione, Hephaestus brings his head back to Bunker 9, so he can be resurrected as the masthead for the Argo II.
* Jason and Leo's reaction to Piper revealing that she'd planned to betray them to Enceladus -- they are immediately and completely supportive, and willing to jeopardize the success of their quest if it means saving her father.
* Jason reuniting with Thalia, the sister he's been separated from for years. He's finally able to get some answers about his MysteriousPast, and it's clear from her reaction that she's overjoyed at finding him alive. Thalia ends up diverting the Hunters so that she can help them on their quest, and when she's frozen by Khione, Jason shouts he's going to kill whoever's responsible for hurting her.
** Though the truth about their mother makes their reunion bittersweet, it's somewhat heartwarming to realize that the reason it took Thalia so long to run away was because she didn't want to leave Jason behind.
* Piper's conversation with Aphrodite, who reveals that she kept the truth from Tristan to protect him, and offers Piper a potion that will erase the memories of his captivity.
* Coach Hedge staying behind to protect Piper's father and see him safely home -- simultaneously ensuring the success of the quest, and making it so that Piper doesn't have to continue to watch her father break down.
* Jason recognizing the Caldecott Tunnel when they fly over it, though he's unable to remember why it feels so important.
* Leo hits on every unattainable girl he meets in ... with two exceptions. Annabeth Chase, who's desperately searching for her missing boyfriend, and Piper McLean whom he treats with genuine friendship and respect.

* Mars in general is a nice contrast to his abusive and brutish Greek counterpart. He's a ReasonableAuthorityFigure who seems to truly care about Frank and his mother. He even gives Frank a copy of The Art of War.
* In Lost Hero, Annabeth was hit pretty hard by Percy's disappearance, especially so soon after they'd finally gotten together. Piper being so sure that she and Jason were boyfriend and girlfriend, when that was in reality a Mist-woven illusion, probably didn't help. Then, mere pages into Son of Neptune, we find out that Annabeth was the only thing Percy remembered.
** Percy giving up the Curse of Achilles, and the chance for a long, peaceful, safe life for the chance to find Annabeth.
** Heck, any time Percy mentions Annabeth is undeniably heartwarming!
** Percy wanting to protect New Rome partly because he wanted a life for him and Annabeth there.
* Hazel recalling the best day of her life.
* Percy telling Frank he's proud to be related to him, after learning that Frank is a descendant of one of Poseidon's heroic children. Later, Tyson calling Frank "brother" and Percy going along with it.
* Frank entrusting his lifeline stick to Hazel.
* Frank's grandmother telling him, in her own way, that she's proud of him.
* Hazel telling Frank he makes a very handsome elephant and then kissing him.
* Percy being promoted to praetor after his victory in battle.
* Percy's reaction to the arrival of the Argo II at the end.
-->"Come on. Let me introduce you to my other family."

* Percy and Annabeth's reunion at the beginning of the book. After so much time apart, and so many battles faced, the two of them are finally together again.
-->Annabeth put her knee on Percy's chest. She pushed her forearm against his throat. She didn't care what the Romans thought. A white-hot lump of anger expanded in her chest-- a tumor of worry and bitterness that she'd been carrying around since last autumn. \
"If you ever leave me again," she said, her eyes stinging,"I swear to all the gods--" \
Percy had the nerve to laugh. Suddenly, the lump of heated emotions melted inside Annabeth. \
"Consider me warned," Percy said. "I missed you too."
* The first two things that Frank does after meeting Leo: try and find out if he's the mysterious figure from Hazel's past, and then reassure him that the attack on New Rome probably wasn't his fault.
* Before Leo and Hazel leave for their mission in Salt Lake City, Percy pulls Leo aside to give him the some context about Hazel's backstory... and imply that if Leo messes with her, he's going to feed him to a great white shark.
* Annabeth and Piper have become such good friends between The Lost Hero and this book that they have an in-joke of "stealing" each other's breakfast. Especially since their godly parents are of diametrically opposed elements (wisdom and love, respectively).
* In Hazel's shared blackout with Leo, Sammy stops Rufus from bullying Hazel by pretending to be a film director.
** The blackout later changes to a moment of Leo's life, to their shock, revealing that Sammy Valdez is Leo's great-grandfather. In the twilight years of his life, he asks the infant Leo to pass on a message: "Tell her hello for me." He may have grown old, he may have died before her return amongst the living, but Sammy Valdez never forgot Hazel. He never stopped loving her.
** The diamond she gifted him let Sammy buy his own shop and become a successful mechanic, yet he muses it had to be cursed like the gems she usually produced... because he never saw her again. It's bittersweet how deep his feelings for her ran, proving Gaea wasn't lying when she said Sammy had the potential to be the love of Hazel's life.
* Piper, very relieved to see Leo, Hazel, and Frank after an attack on the Argo II and losing them in sea, spontaneously jumps off the ship and paddles towards Leo to give him a kiss on the cheek. It shows that Piper can be concern for the others as well.
* We learn that Annabeth has been visiting Sally Jackson at least once a week while Percy was missing.
* It's a small one, but Frank going to ask for Annabeth's help after getting trapped in the Chinese Finger Trap was pretty sweet, seeing how he asked her because he trusted her to help and not tell anyone else.
** Especially since one's a Greek demigod, the other is a Roman demigod, and they've only known each other a few days.
* Percy and Annabeth's little date before the latter's descent to the caves.
* "As long as we're together."
** And then on the way down (according to the next book), she whispers "I love you" into his ear, wanting them to be her last words.
* Though the meeting with Hercules ends up being a little hard to read through because of how bitter and jerkish Hercules can be, he is actually civil to Jason and Piper when they first meet, saying he knows how these quests are like so he will only give them a token task and let them be on their way. He also mentions Dionysus as the only one who understands him, implying that the two poster-kids of Hera pursuing her husband's kids at least found someone to bond over that with.
* At the beginning of the book, Percy is seriously angry at Nico for hiding the fact that he knew Percy/knew about both camps. When he actually finds him near the end of the book, however, he only shows concern for Nico's health and completely forgives him. It really shows that no matter how difficult their friendship got over the years, Percy still genuinely cares about Nico.

* Any time Nico is being a big brother to Hazel.
* In House of Hades, Jason's protective instinct towards Nico after the revelation that he's gay (or bi, it was never specifically stated) and had a crush on Percy.
** Jason telling Nico after the reveal: "Nico, I've seen a lot of brave things. But what you just did? That was maybe the bravest." Considering the stuff Jason's seen in his lifetime, that's saying something.
** The fact that Jason realizes instantly why this is even a big deal to Nico when to the others it wouldn't even be worth batting an eyelash at. Nico's from the 1930s. Jason wasn't kidding when he said that letting that secret out was the bravest thing he'd ever seen. He gets how unthinkable that kind of reveal would have been in Nico's time without needing to be told.
** And pretty much everything he says to Nico after the reveal. So completely free of judgement.
--->"If the others found out, you'd have that many more people to back you up, and to unleash the fury of the gods on anybody who gives you trouble."\
"Dude! It's not like you've got a choice. It's just who you are."
* Hades is actually a sweet father to Nico. Honestly, all the demigods relations with their parents in this book were cute.
** On that note, Nico mentions that, being his father the god of the dead, he knows he will end up in his domain, sooner or later, and that is a reassuring knowledge, showing some affection for his father.
* Leo asking Calypso to weave a fireproof pouch to put Frank's firewood in so that Frank wouldn't have to worry about it catching fire anymore. It also shows just how far Frank and Leo have come as friends.
* Leo swearing on the River Styx to come back and get Calypso out of her prison. And he does!
* Hecate almost adopting Hazel (which makes sense, considering Hecate was not just a goddess of magic, but also of death). When the gods show up joining their sons in battle, she helps Hazel in Hades' place.
* While Damasen was a walking TearJerker, a peaceful giant exiled to Tartarus, he healed Percy of a lethal poison and only asked Annabeth to tell him their story as payment. When the giants get closer, Damasen gives Annabeth a new weapon as part of his parting gift.
* A minor one, but the Titan Koios greeting his brother Iapetus (Bob) with open arms and happily speaking with him. After countless instances of immortals rarely showing any sort of happiness at seeing their familial relations on the godly side, it's surprisingly heartwarming to see a Titan, not exactly the paragon of virtue, treating his brother like a brother.
* Also, a massive TearJerker, but Bob (Iapetus) the Titan and Damasen the Giant's dual HeroicSacrifice to hold off Tartarus's avatar and the armies of Gaea to give Percy and Annabeth time to escape with the Doors of Death deserves mention. These two immortals, nominally the sworn enemies of Olympus and their demigod children, willing gave themselves up to help them escape and stop Gaia. Especially evident in Bob's case, who, despite being a victim of HeelFaceBrainwashing, willing chose to stay on the side of good despite remembering his past. Why? Because Percy and Annabeth are his friends. Percy and Annabeth swear to remember both of them for this, as the best Titan and Giant, and to have them return someday.
* The moment everyone gets a chance to register that Percy and Annabeth are out of Tartarus. Jason gives Percy a big bear hug, and Piper hugs Annabeth and bursts into tears.
* Nico flat-out tells Jason he doesn't like to be touched (although he does say "please"), yet still initiates affection with his half-sister Hazel, taking her hand or kissing her.
* Hades talks to Hazel even though he would have to send her back to the underworld if any of the other gods found out that she was alive and he knew about it.

* Hazel helping Leo to make a charcoal sketch of Calypso.
* Even though the journey proved fatal to him, Reyna treated her pegasus so well that the Pegasus comes to help her when needed, and declares her friend of all horses (which, Hedge makes clear, is the greatest honor you can get from him).
* Nico's new friendships with Reyna and Jason. Especially Jason getting all excited about Nico deciding to stay at Camp.
-->Jason: Oh, man. Wait till I tell Piper. Hey, since I'm all alone in my cabin too, you and I can share a table at the dining hall. We can team up for capture the flag and sing-along contests and-\
Nico: Are you trying to scare me away?
** In the same scene, Jason wanting to hug him, actually remembering Nico doesn't like touching, and Nico accepting to make an exception. When you remember the last interactions they'd had...
* Reyna and Hedge becoming friends with Nico. Particularly after they see him killing someone by forcibly turning him into a ghost, and feeling all of his anger right after that. Nico is convinced they'll hate him for that but, while they are uncomfortable at first, Reyna confirms it doesn't change the fact that they are friends.
* Percy kisses Annabeth on the spot where Athena and Poseidon's rivalry first began.
-->Percy: The rivalry ends here. I love you, Wise Girl.
* All the different scenes at the end of Blood Of Olympus are just dripping with EarnYourHappyEnding.
** The two camps pledging mutual friendship and alliance. No more Greek-Roman divide!
--->Reyna: I still intend to fight a lot of battles. But from now on, we fight together!
** Nico informing Frank that Frank still has plenty of time before that last bit of firewood burns out.
** Percy and Annabeth's plans: they'll spend their senior year together in New York, then off to New Rome for four years of college under the protection of the Legion.
--->Annabeth: And after that... Well, Reyna and Frank said we could live in New Rome as long as we like.
** Jason and Piper kissing on the roof of Zeus's cabin.
---> Jason: That night at the Wilderness School, our first kiss under the stars...\
Piper: The memory. The one that never happened.\
Jason: Well, now it's real.
** Coach Hedge showing off his brand-new boy to everyone from both camps.
** Nico and Will flirting.
*** Heck all of Will's actions towards Nico, including refusing to let him risk his life shadow traveling and saying - somewhat snappishly - that other people do care about him.
---->Will: Oh please. Nobody at Camp Half-Blood ever pushed you away. You have friends - or at least people who would like to be your friend.
** Also Nico's clear acceptance that Percy is with Annabeth and is going to stay there. It's so... refreshing... to see someone just be willing to let a crush go instead of going Yandere. Adding onto that, Nico works up the courage to come out of the closet to Annabeth and Percy by confessing that he had a crush on Percy. Both of them are accepting of it.
*** On that same note, Piper and Reyna have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for each other. When Reyna shouts a greeting as Piper and Jason enter the fight, Jason takes a minute to realize she's not talking to him, and Piper and Reyna fight side by side.
** And, last but by no means least, the very last scene of the series: Leo is brought BackFromTheDead, flies to Ogygia, and he and Calypso fly off into the proverbial sunset atop Festus the Resurrected Dragon.
*** To clarify: After the battle with Gaea Leo sacrifices himself, burning himself alive, shortly after which Festus injects him with the physician's cure, so he can be alive as he flies to Ogygia. The dude killed himself and brought himself back to life just so he could be with Calypso. It's about time.
* The very last chapter - Leo is NotQuiteDead. The first place he goes? To Calypso.
* Hades and Nico's conversation in Évora is flat-out adorable. While in the previous series they were both extremely cold and formal with each other and didn't get along easily, here they act more like a normal father and son.
** Lightly teasing each other:
--->Nico: Getting some redecorating ideas? Maybe you could do your dining room in medieval monk skulls.\
Hades: I can never tell when you're joking.\
[...]\
Nico: So tell me, Father. What do you want?\
Hades: Can you entertain the notion that I might be here to help you, not simply because I want something? \
Nico: I can entertain the notion that you might be here for multiple reasons. \
Hades: I suppose that's fair enough...\
[...]\
Hades: I will prepare a room for you at the palace in case you do not survive. Perhaps your chambers would look good decorated with the skulls of monks.\
Nico: Now I can't tell if you're joking.\
Hades: Then perhaps we are alike in some important ways.
** Hades tells Nico that he's proud of him, that he respects him, and that he's brought their family honor. Given that in the first series he openly told Nico he preferred Bianca, it's a real testament to how far their relationship has come.
** Hades implies that he knows about Nico's crush on Percy and doesn't mind.
--->..."I didn't do all that just for [Percy]. I did it because the whole world was in danger."\
Hades allowed himself the faintest smile, but there was nothing cruel in it. "I can entertain the possibility that you acted for multiple reasons."
** This:
--->"My children are so rarely happy. I... I would like to see you be an exception."
** Nico feels comforted when Hades puts his hands on his shoulders and thinks that, no matter what happens, eventually he'll end up at the foot of his father's throne.
*** That goes the other way around as well. Hades can live his life knowing that whatever happens, his children will always come back to him, even if they chose to reincarnate afterwards.
* Apollo telling Frank that he had heard his prayers to be claimed, and he would have claimed Frank as soon as he could if Frank was indeed his son. He laments that Mars always gets the good ones.
* Asclepius being the nicest doctor possible
* Leo's last words.
-->Leo: And by the way -- I love you guys.
* Will and Nico's newfound friendship, along with a possible ShipTease.
* Coach Hedge making Clarisse, the first demigod he ever served as a Protector for, the godmother of his son, a duty which she takes very seriously.
