27	* Splinter in all incarnations is heartwarming personified. When he's not being stern or fighting, he is often a parental figure. Not just to the Turtles or April, but to anyone that he feels needs it. A big example is in the first movie, when he talks Danny into resigning from the Foot Clan, despite the fact that Danny is responsible for burning down April's home and nearly getting the Turtles and April killed.
28	** This is especially shown when in ''Turtles Forever'', the 2003 Splinter scolds ''his'' turtles for making fun of the original cartoon turtles, saying that they are ''all'' his sons. And it gets better -- the original cartoon Splinter says the same thing to 2003 Leo and Raph. No matter where the Turtles are, they can always find a father figure in Master Splinter.
29	* Issue 11 of the original comics ends on a happy note; After months at the Jones Farm, coping and dealing with the trauma that was the Foot attack on April's apartment, April comes to realize that she didn't lose much in the attack. She still has the friends she gained in the Turtles, Splinter, and Casey. And while training them, Splinter advises his sons that while there have been many unsettling changes, the key to happiness is to adapt and grow from those changes. The final page is the Turtles serving April breakfast in bed.
30	* A small one happens in the ''[[CompilationRerelease Cowabunga Collection]]'', of all things; some of the extra features include screenshots of all the cartoons up to the point of the collection's 2022 release. Not much worth noting, until you remember that Creator/{{Konami}} only made games up to ''Mutant Nightmare'' in 2005, which was based on the third season of the 2003 cartoon. With this in mind, even if it's not much, it's nice that Konami at least acknowledged the stuff that came after they ended their run with the franchise.
