!!!Other Comics
* In the earlier days of Spider-Man, he was allowed his great triumphs. His triumph at the end of the Master Planner arc to save Aunt May's life is a great big ball of heartwarming on Peter overcoming the odds to save his ParentalSubstitute.
* Issue #181 of Amazing Spider-Man has Spidey visiting Ben's grave, as well as May later on (with Spidey observing her from the trees). Although it's mostly a recap on Spidey's life and the people around him, the ending is incredibly sweet. Spidey leaves the microscope Ben bought for him during his high school days as a gift of remembrance, wrapped in web, thanking his uncle for giving him the strength to continue fighting crime. Then, as Spidey swings off into the night, the caretaker arrives to work the graveyard shift. The caretaker laments that he is working while he should be at home with his son, Tommy, celebrating his birthday. Tommy is gifted, but is picked on by everyone else because he doesn't fight. The caretaker also wishes that he could afford to give a truly meaningful present to Tommy this year. Then, the caretaker stumbles upon the microscope, and joyfully takes it home as a birthday present to his son. Even when he doesn't realize it, Peter is always helping people.
* Issue #186. After being hounded by the police for months for crimes he didn't do and shunned by New Yorkers thanks to Jameson's claims, Spidey is ''finally'' found innocent of causing Captain Stacy's death. Even better, many New Yorkers interviewed are actually happy that Spidey got his due. Best of all, Flash sticks up for Spidey when the Chameleon tries to discredit him, and the issue ends with a cheering crowd carrying Spidey through the streets. Of course, the guy still has to deal with insane press conferences, but it's nice to see things look up for Spidey for a change.
* The wedding of Peter and Mary Jane. Even though they both arrived late, it still went off without a hitch. No supervillains wrecking things, no objections, just a happy ceremony with all the supporting cast coming out to watch.
** Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn cheering Peter up from his worries about getting married. The fact that Flash, Peter's ex-bully turned friend, who dated MJ in the past, and who went through a bad marriage and divorce ultimately telling him TrueLoveIsExceptional and that marriage is awesome is extra special, and is one of Flash's best character moments overall:
-->'''Flash:''' I think about being married all the time. My foul-ups have only made that kind of happiness even more desirable, more precious! And if you've got a chance for that buddy, you'd darned well better go for it!
** The Wedding vows which succinctly summarizes both how the two of them feel about each other, and why their relationship is so poignant:
-->'''Mary Jane:''' I will take this man--this very special man--to be the most important thing in my life. Because that's exactly what I've realized, he already ''is''.\
'''Peter:''' She knows better than anyone else what she's getting into--and she still wants me! How could I possibly turn down someone like that? I do.
-->-- Their Wedding Vows, '''Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21''', written by David Michelinie.
** Mary Jane's wedding dress was designed by actual an fashion designer Willi Smith who died of AIDS in April 1987, shortly before the newspaper version of the marriage and the publication of the annual a few months later. This was Smith's last project and he enjoyed the entire idea even if he must have been in difficult circumstances doing it. His appearance in the comic and among the guests in the wedding is extra poignant.
* When Peter thought MJ was dead, he ended up lashing out and attacking the Hulk, while yelling how no one was ever going to hurt anyone he cared about ever again and how MJ was still alive, and the Hulk... basically just stood there and said:
--> Bug Man's wife dead? Hulk's wife dead too. Hulk sorry.
** [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown Considering Hulk's normal reaction to anything that attacks him]], the fact that he's basically trying to ''comfort'' Peter is a truly epic moment of heartwarming.
* After going through trial separation due to everything she put up with, Mary Jane finally agrees to get back together with Spidey, with both of them promising to do better this time around... then ''ComicBook/OneMoreDay'' happened...
* It should be noted that Stan Lee has never put the characters through ''One More Day'', and they remain HappilyMarried in the newspaper strip continuity, as well as in the ''ComicBook/MarvelComics2'' continuity.
* ''The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man'' was an short back-up story in an otherwise forgettable issue. Spidey reads a newspaper article about a kid who idolizes him and wants to meet him. Spidey goes to visit the kid. They talk, the kid shows him his (very impressive) Spider-Man memorabilia collection. The kid also asks him "how does Peter Parker get all those great pictures of you?" which Spidey kind of dodges (since he '''is''' Peter Parker), and pesters him to tell him his secret identity, which he refuses to reveal. Spidey then starts to leave... turns back... [[spoiler: and explains that Peter Parker gets those great photos of him because... he ''is'' Peter Parker. And then takes off his mask]]. Spidey then leaves, and we see him standing on a wall in front of the building the kid was in, and a sign reveals it's a hospital. Spidey is unmasked, and the "camera" pulls in, and he's crying. And we see the rest of the newspaper article. The reporter writes that he really hopes Spider-Man sees the article, [[spoiler: because the kid has leukemia, and his doctors say he has only a few weeks to live.]]
* After the whole fiasco with the clones, and the return of the Green Goblin, and the loss of his unborn child, Spidey is finally getting back to his roots. As he patrols the city, he stops to harass J. Jonah Jameson one more time. But when he sees Jameson alone at his desk, hours after his employees have gone, still working late into the night, Spidey decides not to play his usual pranks. Instead, he taps on the window, eliciting an angry tirade from Jonah. Spidey then calmly says, "Jonah, it's late. Go home."
* Annual 18 of Amazing Spider Man has Mac Gargan, hell-bent on ruining Jonah's life again, break out of prison and become the Scorpion again to kidnap Dr. Marla Madison on their wedding day. Jonah is so terrified at their kidnapping that he gets a taxi and races to find Marla, eventually finding the Scorpion dragging her into an alley. Jonah pleads with the Scorpion, revealing he was the one that paid for Gargan's medical care, but the Scorpion jeers at him. Then, John Jameson, who angrily confronted his father over marrying Marla, overhears Jonah pleading for Marla to run so Mac Gargan can kill him instead. Realizing how strong their love is, Jonah's son rushes in to fight, but Gargan sends him sprawling with his tail blast. The Scorpion then offers Jonah a SadisticChoice: should he spare Marla or John from Gargan's wrath? What follows truly shows that, despite [[ItsAllAboutMe how highly Jonah thinks of himself]] and [[HeroWithBadPublicity his ongoing mission to ruin Spidey's career]], Jonah Jameson is still a good man.
-->'''Jonah:''' ''[gesturing to himself]'' Me! Take me! I'm the one you want. Marla and my son have done nothing to you--nothing. Let them go--don't hurt them. Just take me.\
'''Gargan:''' Thanks, Jameson. I need that. I've been waiting' years for this minute. But yer dumber than ya look if you think I'd let anyone walk outta here alive. Maybe I'll save you fer last.\
'''Jonah:''' ''[falling to his knees]'' NO!\
'''Gargan:''' Go on, beg. It's music to my ears. I'm the Scorpion! I got the power of life and death. And this where I'm gonna use it!\
'''Spidey:''' [[BigDamnHeroes ''[shoots webbing at Gargan's eyes]'' If there's one thing I hate, it's a hammy bad guy! The only revenge you'll get is talking your victims to death!]]\
'''Gargan:''' [[CaptainObvious My eyes! Can't see!]]\
'''Spidey:''' That's the idea, dummy.\
'''Jonah:''' ''[picking up his wife-to-be and son]'' Quick! Now's our chance.\
''[Spidey and Gargan begin fighting as the Jamesons flee]''\
'''Jonah:''' That's it, keep moving. Don't stop for anything.
* The Watcher is usually TheStoic, but [[http://scans-daily.dreamwidth.org/1395022.html this Christmas issue of Spider-Man]] has him helping Spider-Man save someone's life and reunite two estranged relatives under the guise of them being monumentally important to the universe's continued existence.
* Issue #591 had the Fantastic Four regain their memories of Spider-Man's identity from before the ComicBook/OneMoreDay ResetButton caused everyone to forget who Spider-Man is under the mask. [[http://tinyimg.io/i/OfEXIT5.jpg You can see it here]], complete with a nice bit of foreshadowing towards [[spoiler:Spidey joining the FF after Johnny's death]].
* From the ''Spider-Man: Fever'' miniseries, there's a sweet moment at the end where Spidey notices that he and Comicbook/DoctorStrange make similar hand gestures. Heartwarming in a corny way.
* Nice small one. In Venom #18 (2012), Flash-Venom has to rescue Betty from falling to her doom, in a situation more than a little similiar to the famous Gwen Stacy one. They instantly do so, instinctively telling her to go limp and everything. It's obvious this is because the symbiote picked up on Peter's constant replaying of that moment while he wore it.
* The final scene of ''Spider Island''. [[spoiler:After working together to save the world, Peter and Mary Jane take a moment to watch over the city.]]
-->[[spoiler:'''Peter:''' Look at 'em, MJ. A whole city. And they all walked a mile in my shoes.\
'''MJ:''' No. Just the wall-crawling parts. Everything that really matters is still right here, tiger.]]
* In the ''Big Time'' arc, May has used her new political connections to get Peter his dream job at Horizon Labs. As Peter walks towards the door, a panel from ''Amazing #1'' appears (where the recently-widowed May tells him to continue his studies so he could become a scientist). She then looks towards the sky and says, "He did it, Ben."
* After Harry rescues Spider-Man in the nick of time in ''Spectacular'' #200.
-->'''Harry:''' I did it, Peter. Just the way... you would've done it. A real hero.\
'''Spider-Man:''' Why, Harry? Why'd you come back for me?\
'''Harry:''' Hey... what else could I do? You're my best friend.
** What happens right after that [[TearJerker/SpiderMan belongs in another page...]]
* The cover to the returning ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #1. After the debacle that was ''ComicBook/SuperiorSpiderMan'', seeing Peter in the red-and-blues once more with the biggest smile on his face, you just can't help to be happy once more.
* At the end of the original symbiote story arc, after Peter has managed to remove the symbiote using the church bells and passes out, its last act before (seemingly) dying is to move him to safety.
* In the weirdest example of this considering the character, ''Carnage'' provides a slight example simply because the symbiote will stop at ''nothing'' to keep Cletus safe in defiance of whatever advantages a different host would have over him. At one point, It seems like Carnage has hit the top, after taking over Silver Surfer, the herald of the creature that instills fear in it's entire race on a genetic level. However, after learning that its first host is on the verge of death due to a mixture of health complications and the sheer amount of time since they were separated, the symbiote scarcely thinks twice about abandoning the Surfer and all the power that would entail in favor of reuniting with Cletus.
* Throughout Creator/MarkMillar's run, Spidey is put through all kinds of Hell - Aunt May is kidnapped; Jameson offers a massive cash reward to anyone who can learn Spidey's identity; an attempt to stop the Vulture's latest spree goes horribly, horribly wrong and lands Peter Parker in the hospital; Mary Jane's poor investments result in the Parkers verging on bankruptcy; the Venom symbiote is sold to an angry little virgin who goes on a rampage; and Spidey learns that there really is an honest-to-God conspiracy to make his life miserable, culminating in a battle with the Sinister Six as Spidey is desperately rushing to save Aunt May from a death trap. Naturally, by the end of it, Peter Parker is just about ready to quit... and then Aunt May tells him that there's an actual website that has calculated the number of lives he's saved over the years. It's a very large number.
* In ''Spider-Man/Black Cat: Evil That Men Do'', Black Cat can be seen messing with one of Jameson's "Spider-Man is a menace" billboards while she's having an inner monologue about her past with Peter. The next page shows the billboard now with one simple word written over it: "WRONG"
* Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #38: For such a quiet issue, it's a roller coaster of emotions. To wit: Aunt May has finally figured out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and dropped by his apartment to have a serious talk with him about it. She is still noticeably rattled with the revelation, but she keeps herself strong as she manages to make Peter come clean about his double life. There's a TearJerker moment when Peter tells her that it's because of him that Uncle Ben died, and then May takes the blame for herself because Ben had only gone out to have his fateful meeting with the burglar because they had an argument and he wanted to go for a walk to let things cool off. There's a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment|s}} when May says that she figured Peter was hiding something, but the way he hid it made her think he was gay. And the end result falls under here because Peter is finally able to purge his ghosts with someone he can trust, and while not liking the idea of her surrogate son going out to put his life on the line every night, May still tries to take it as well as she can, for the love she has for her nephew.
-->'''Peter:''' ''(narrating)'' For all the years I wore ''[the Spider-Man costume]'', I always felt as if I was hiding more than my name. I was hiding who I was. Hiding from the world. From myself. And from her. For the first time, as I put it on, I feel not confined, but free. She has given me that freedom. And I know it cost her. However much she put on a brave face... I know this must have cost her terribly. And I'll make that up to her, somehow. Because May is right. Our great power, and our great responsibility, is to one another. And I won't lie to her again. I won't let her down. Ever.
* Amazing Spider-Man (2014) #16: Despite their companies competing over a contract, [[FriendlyRivalry Liz Allen and Peter Parker]] still get along rather well...their employees... not so much.
* After Betty Brant is mugged and injured, Peter tries to find her attacker, instead of going to the hospital to see her, but after he speaks with Aunt May, he decides to visit her and they spent the reminder of the night watching movies in the same did they did when they dated.
* Spider-Man allowing ComicBook/{{Morbius}} to take some of his blood, with permission this time, after it turns out Morbius bought a vial of his blood to try to create a cure for the [[ComicBook/MarvelZombies zombie virus]] his best friend ComicBook/WerewolfByNight is infected with, in ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #622.
--> '''Spider-Man''': Let's get this over with quick, huh? I get woozy around needles.
--> '''Morbius''': It's all right. I have apple juice.
* Amazing Spider-Man (2015) #1: We find out that Max Modell, Peter's old boss at Horizon, willingly invited him back into his little family by inviting him to his wedding with Hector Baez. Even more, Peter is able to give him a wonderful wedding gift - turning the Parker Institute of Technology he invited Max to run into Horizon University, giving him back a piece of what he lost due to Otto's arrogance.
* In #3 of the same run, Pete has bought [[ComicBook/FantasticFour the Baxter Building.]] Johnny Storm is not happy about this, and confronts Peter about it. When Pete finally gets Johnny to stop fighting, he shows him the building's lobby, which has a huge statue of the Fantastic Four and family - a way for people to know that the Baxter Building will ''always'' be home to the Fantastic Four. Turns out Peter bought the place because a bunch of other companies were trying to buy it, and he ''outbid all of them'' in order to hold onto it until the Fantastic Four are back. Johnny's response?
--> '''Johnny Storm:''' Until it does, I'm glad it's staying with '''family.'''
** Even more important is that we, the readers, didn't yet know when this issue saw print why Sue, Reed, Valeria, and Franklin are missing. But In-Universe? Peter was involved in the Secret Wars and remembers, per WordOfGod that those involved will. So, whatever happened to them, Peter is reassuring not only Johnny, but the readers, that the others will be back, somehow, someday.
** It's also worth nothing that Peter hired Alicia Masters to sculpt the statue. Who else would have done it justice?
* Peter has Harry Osborn [[MeaningfulRename (now Lyman)]] working as his VP at the Baxter Building, as well as Clayton Cole (former low level henchman Clash). He believes in giving second chances, he says. When Clayton dons his Clash gear to stop the Human Torch from trashing Peter's office, Peter gives him a mild reprimand, but says he [[BenevolentBoss isn't going to fire him]], although he says they will have a talk about it later.
--> '''Harry''': ''That, Johnny, is why Peter is my best friend. He never gives up on me. I'm not an Osborn to him. I'm just "Harry."''
* It's worth noting that while it usually doesn't work, Spidey is often quick to try the TalkingTheMonsterToDeath approach, or even telling a villain, or reformed villain, YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre. Many of his former foes have tried going straight, as well, sometimes inspired by him.
* Chief Inspector Sun, Spider-Man's new FriendOnTheForce, saying while some fear that villains are being attracted to his city because of the Wall-Crawler, he still thinks well of him.
** Apparently Parker Industries has been helping the Shanghai Police Dept since opening its main China office.
* The ending of ''ComicBook/SpiderManBlue'' in which Peter discovers MJ has been listening to his message to Gwen, [[spoiler: and instead of getting angry at her husband like he fears, she merely asks that he say hi to Gwen for her. An amazing case of proving Mary-Jane understands that despite how much she and Peter love each other, she will never take Gwen's place, and vice-versa, and a beautiful reminder that MJ loved Gwen too, and that she still deeply misses her friend.]]
* Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson have flat-out one of the all-time greatest love stories and romances in comics and YA fiction in general. So there are many heartwarming moments between the couple:
** The fact that Aunt May, contrary to her nephew's expectations, chose someone so warm, vivacious, and strong as Peter's ideal girl and tried to ship them is this since it showed that she saw something deep in MJ that Peter didn't, and likewise that she was open-minded enough that a girl with a somewhat loose reputation (at least as per the norms of TheSixties) was great because as she put it, "she has a wonderful personality".
** The first one is when MJ stays with Peter after Gwen Stacy's death. A model of visual storytelling and characterization as readers see a simple party girl showing amazing maturity, compassion, and strength to be there with Peter at his lowest point even when he dislikes her. The body language also communicates just how much she loves this guy.
** Their first kiss when Peter has to go out of town and MJ drops him at the airport but not before he plants an epic BigDamnKiss on her leaving MJ dazed and giddy ("Far freaking out").
** The issue after MJ reveals she knows Peter is Spider-Man and then confesses her backstory with Peter as they walk around the park. Neither of them are in a relationship at that point nor do they hook up afterwards but it's clear that their bond grows stronger and more mature, and that MJ has become Peter's closest friend (which she was at that time).
** "Doomed Affairs"[[note]]''Amazing Spider-Man'' Issue #50, Vol. 2[[/note]] despite the foreboding title is entirely about Peter and MJ recommitting to their relationship after their separation all in the middle of a superhero battle, at the end of which MJ finally meets Captain America, who as usual gives some wise advice:
--->''The mask is supposed to hide your face. Don't let it hide your heart.''
** Tom Beland's "Web of Romance" a Valentine's Day one-shot has Peter considering what to gift MJ for valentine's day, and [[spoiler:he settles on giving her personalized web shooters that are disguised as her bracelets]].
** "To Have and to Hold" by Creator/MattFraction is considered even by detractors of the marriage, an all-time great Spider-Man story, a celebration of Peter and MJ's romance, and an all-time great love story as Peter and MJ commit and affirm their love in a very dark moment ending with a romantic image of the two of them atop Empire State Building.
* Nick Spencer's ''Amazing Spider-Man'' #1 which has Peter coming to Mary Jane looking for support after his fall from grace, and the latter not only giving that to him, but possibly rekindling their romantic relationship.
--> ''Peter'': Maybe this is a mistake. I'm sorry. This isn't fair to you. Maybe I should...
--> '''Mary Jane''': Whoa, whoa. Easy tiger... We're in this together Pete. We always have been.
** Pretty much confirmed in subsequent issues that Peter and MJ are together again, and this time MJ is in it for the long haul. In #5, when Spider-Man was separated into two people, one with all his powers and the other with the responsibility, MJ assured Peter that his being Spider-Man is part of why she loves him.
--->"I used to dream of a life where we could just be us, you know? With no Green Goblins or Venoms making everything such a horror show. But here's the thing--that wouldn't be us, would it? Because it wouldn't be you. As much as it might scare me or frustrate me or, yeah--even endanger me--I can't change that. I don't want to change that. The guy I'm in love with is a hero. He puts on a costume and risks his life to help other people for no reason other than it's the right thing to do. And, yes, that burden he carries around is why I kept pushing him away, but now I'm starting to realize--it's also why I kept coming back to him."
* Issue 2 of Nick Spencer's Spider-Man has Spidey, even after losing his degree due to being accused of Plagiarism (Doc Ock taking over his body) and losing his job at the Bugle as a result of this, still has a positive attitude as he captures villains Mountain Marko and The Ringer, who are trying to steal some books they enjoy, and after capturing them gives them some books anyway. Spider-Man, everyone; the Marvel Universe regular NiceGuy, no matter what he goes through.
* The four issue storyline Death of Jean [=DeWolff=] is very bittersweet since it shows Peter being especially vicious while Matt Murdock was softer but more impotent as they tried to track down the Sin Eater. It at least ends with Daredevil revealing he knows who Spider-Man is and it ends with the two closer than ever while Murdock promises to help find someone to provide legal counsel for one of Aunt May's tenants who panicked and shot a mugger.
* ''Amazing Spider-Man'' 252, the first issue after ''ComicBook/SecretWars1984'', is a BreatherEpisode about Spidey returning home after all of that miniseries' crazy cosmic action and getting adjusted to his new alien costume as he catches up on everything he missed. After nearly dying so many times on Battleworld, Spidey talks about how much he appreciates his neighborhood, even with all of its [[TheBigRottenApple mid-80s grittiness]], and in the end, he takes two teenagers he finds arguing webslinging with him to show them the beauty of New York. Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man indeed:
--> '''Spider-Man''': ''"Hey, I realize this city isn't perfect! It has more than its share of rough edges... But there's a lot of real beauty down there, too... This city is like any living creature! It has the potential for incredible good... or horrible evil! It's a part of you kids, whether you realize it or not! You'll always carry it with you-- wherever you go!"''
* [[https://imgur.com/gTjsgvU This one shot comic]], where Spider-Man saves a pregnant woman from a car accident who then wants to name her unborn son after him. Instead of giving her his real name, Spidey tells her to name call the baby "Ben", after you know who. Later on, counting as both a moment of funny and heartwarming, the pregnant woman goes back on her promise not to reveal Spider-Man's "real" name, leading to a bunch of baby boys being given the name "Ben", which to the parents who chose the name is to honor one of the greatest superheros in the Marvel Universe, but in reality is honoring the man who ''raised'' one of the greatest superheros in the Marvel Universe.
* ''Amazing Spider-Man #271'' features the return of Crusher Hogan, the wrestler Peter beat early on, now a washed-up janitor who tells tall tales of training Spider-Man, which no one else believes. When a nearby supervillain attacks, Spider-Man reunites with his former enemy and they team up to defeat him. Then Spidey goes along with the tall tales, and Crusher is respected by his peers again.
** ''Spider-Man's Tangled Web #14'' also focuses on Crusher, this time in his prime as he refuses to sell out to a gimmicky professional wrestling company even though the money isn't much at the smaller venues. Crusher realizes that he can have a gimmick and self-respect at the same time by playing up his status as a heel so whoever finally takes him down will be a hero, as the issue closes with Peter stepping in to face off.
* Yes, even a man as psychotic as Norman Osborn manages to have a moment in Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. [[DownplayedTrope However small]]. Where he sends a letter to Peter saying that he really appreciates the attention he is given and hopes that, despite the fact he kidnapped Aunt May and nearly killed MJ, there's no animosity between them. It's strangely adorable in a psychotic kind of way.
* A really minor one, but in the Amazing Spider-Man issue where Harry overdoses, number 96, seeing Norman (as the Goblin) shedding tears for his son is sweet in an odd manner. It'd be one of the few instances where 616!Norman would show his caring side towards Harry.
* The still canon 1984 comic ''Spider-Man and the Power Pack'' features two stories meant to teach kids about what they should do if they are being abused. In the Spider-Man story titled ''Secrets'' he encounters a young boy named Tony being sexually abused by his babysitter Judy, and while comforting him reveals how he was also abused by his babysitter Steven "Skip" Westcott. He explains how the young Peter bonded with the older teen despite their age difference as Skip was supportive of Peter's interests and looked after him. However Skip would eventually show Peter inappropriate pictures and touch him inappropriately, and he eventually confessed what was happening to May and Ben when they asked why he longer spent anytime with Skip. While this entire situation is horrible the comic ends on a surprisingly hopeful tone as his story convinces Tony to tell his parents what is happening, and it is revealed that on some level Peter had still blamed himself for what happened but now realizes that it wasn't his fault.
** What's also surprising is how aware the writers were as it would have been easy to have both abusers be male or to make Tony a girl. Instead Tony is a POC being abused by a white teenage girl, which makes it clear that anyone can be perpetrators and victims of abuse while avoiding the implication that sexually abusing children has anything to do with homosexuality considering what was happening during the 80s.
* One issue of ''Spider-Man Team-Up'' has Abe Jenkins, formerly The Beetle, now operating as MACH-1, helping prove Spidey is innocent of murder. When asked by the other Masters of Evil (this is before the Thunderbolt's dual identities were revealed to the public) why he did so, he says that since Spidey knew they had the evidence, not helping him would make him suspicious, and he might tip off other heroes. He later admits to Moonstone that it was crap. He helped Spidey because Spidey was a stand up guy who helped them, and it was the right thing to do.
* In ''Avengers: X-Sanction #4'', ComicBook/{{Cable}} states that in the future, or at least one of the many in the multiverse, Peter will go down as the greatest hero of them all. After seeing everything the wallflower from Queens who got a strong-but-not-extraordinary power set has gone through, all the times he has been beaten down by life, all the times his powers have brought misery to him, and all the times he has briefly succumbed to self-pity and bad decision-making, to hear that he will overcome all of that and become the most beloved hero of all is extremely heartwarming.
* In ''ComicBook/WarOfTheRealms'', Peter, being appointed temporary leader of the League of Realms by Thor, is fighting alongside warriors from the other Realms to fight angels from Heven (no, not Abrahamic Heaven, the Tenth Realm). Peter hasn't been getting along with the rest of the League due to them not following his ThouShaltNotKill rule. However, Peter manages to accomplish something major nonlethally. Fernande, the leader of the army, had been starting to doubt her people's involvement in the war due to the Queen allowing Malekith to kill her girlfriend. Spidey, through words of empathy, manages to cement her HeelFaceTurn.

!!!''Amazing Spider-Man: Family Business''
* The story begins as Peter comes home to his apartment only to be attacked by armed thugs. A mysterious woman saves him and they escaped; who is this person? [[spoiler: His long-lost younger sister, Teresa Parker.]] The story follows them on a world spanning adventure as they trace their parents' footsteps who were CIA agents. Though at first skeptical, Peter quickly warms to the idea of a newfound sibling and even shares his identity as Spider-Man with her, even battling against Wilson Fisk. [[spoiler: sadly Fisk reveals that he had faked their relationship for his own ends and Teresa suffers memory loss related to the Parker including Peter's secret. None the less, they part on good terms...and then the last scene of the comic shows a college of their parents running a DNA test. Needless to say the his reaction implies that Fisk might have been lying.]]
