51	* In the earlier days of Spider-Man, he was allowed his great triumphs. His triumph at the end of the Master Planner arc to save Aunt May's life is a great big ball of heartwarming on Peter overcoming the odds to save his ParentalSubstitute.
52	* Issue #181 of Amazing Spider-Man has Spidey visiting Ben's grave, as well as May later on (with Spidey observing her from the trees). Although it's mostly a recap on Spidey's life and the people around him, the ending is incredibly sweet. Spidey leaves the microscope Ben bought for him during his high school days as a gift of remembrance, wrapped in web, thanking his uncle for giving him the strength to continue fighting crime. Then, as Spidey swings off into the night, the caretaker arrives to work the graveyard shift. The caretaker laments that he is working while he should be at home with his son, Tommy, celebrating his birthday. Tommy is gifted, but is picked on by everyone else because he doesn't fight. The caretaker also wishes that he could afford to give a truly meaningful present to Tommy this year. Then, the caretaker stumbles upon the microscope, and joyfully takes it home as a birthday present to his son. Even when he doesn't realize it, Peter is always helping people.
53	* Issue #186. After being hounded by the police for months for crimes he didn't do and shunned by New Yorkers thanks to Jameson's claims, Spidey is ''finally'' found innocent of causing Captain Stacy's death. Even better, many New Yorkers interviewed are actually happy that Spidey got his due. Best of all, Flash sticks up for Spidey when the Chameleon tries to discredit him, and the issue ends with a cheering crowd carrying Spidey through the streets. Of course, the guy still has to deal with insane press conferences, but it's nice to see things look up for Spidey for a change.
54	* The wedding of Peter and Mary Jane. Even though they both arrived late, it still went off without a hitch. No supervillains wrecking things, no objections, just a happy ceremony with all the supporting cast coming out to watch.
55	** Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn cheering Peter up from his worries about getting married. The fact that Flash, Peter's ex-bully turned friend, who dated MJ in the past, and who went through a bad marriage and divorce ultimately telling him TrueLoveIsExceptional and that marriage is awesome is extra special, and is one of Flash's best character moments overall:

The kid also asks him "how does Peter Parker get all those great pictures of you?" which Spidey kind of dodges (since he '''is''' Peter Parker), and pesters him to tell him his secret identity, which he refuses to reveal. Spidey then starts to leave... turns back... [[spoiler: and explains that Peter Parker gets those great photos of him because... he ''is'' Peter Parker. And then takes off his mask]]. Spidey then leaves, and we see him standing on a wall in front of the building the kid was in, and a sign reveals it's a hospital. Spidey is unmasked, and the "camera" pulls in, and he's crying. And we see the rest of the newspaper article. The reporter writes that he really hopes Spider-Man sees the article, [[spoiler: because the kid has leukemia, and his doctors say he has only a few weeks to live.]]
68	* After the whole fiasco with the clones, and the return of the Green Goblin, and the loss of his unborn child, Spidey is finally getting back to his roots. As he patrols the city, he stops to harass J. Jonah Jameson one more time. But when he sees Jameson alone at his desk, hours after his employees have gone, still working late into the night, Spidey decides not to play his usual pranks. Instead, he taps on the window, eliciting an angry tirade from Jonah. Spidey then calmly says, "Jonah, it's late. Go home."
69	* Annual 18 of Amazing Spider Man has Mac Gargan, hell-bent on ruining Jonah's life again, break out of prison and become the Scorpion again to kidnap Dr. Marla Madison on their wedding day. Jonah pleads with the Scorpion, revealing he was the one that paid for Gargan's medical care, but the Scorpion jeers at him. Realizing how strong their love is, Jonah's son rushes in to fight, but Gargan sends him sprawling with his tail blast. To wit: Aunt May has finally figured out that Peter Parker is Spider-Man and dropped by his apartment to have a serious talk with him about it. She is still noticeably rattled with the revelation, but she keeps herself strong as she manages to make Peter come clean about his double life. There's a TearJerker moment when Peter tells her that it's because of him that Uncle Ben died, and then May takes the blame for herself because Ben had only gone out to have his fateful meeting with the burglar because they had an argument and he wanted to go for a walk to let things cool off. There's a SugarWiki/{{Funny Moment\|s}} when May says that she figured Peter was hiding something, but the way he hid it made her think he was gay. And the end result falls under here because Peter is finally able to purge his ghosts with someone he can trust, and while not liking the idea of her surrogate son going out to put his life on the line every night, May still tries to take it as well as she can, for the love she has for her nephew.

Later on, counting as both a moment of funny and heartwarming, the pregnant woman goes back on her promise not to reveal Spider-Man's "real" name, leading to a bunch of baby boys being given the name "Ben", which to the parents who chose the name is to honor one of the greatest superheros in the Marvel Universe, but in reality is honoring the man who ''raised'' one of the greatest superheros in the Marvel Universe.
135	* ''Amazing Spider-Man #271'' features the return of Crusher Hogan, the wrestler Peter beat early on, now a washed-up janitor who tells tall tales of training Spider-Man, which no one else believes. When a nearby supervillain attacks, Spider-Man reunites with his former enemy and they team up to defeat him. Then Spidey goes along with the tall tales, and Crusher is respected by his peers again.
136	** ''Spider-Man's Tangled Web #14'' also focuses on Crusher, this time in his prime as he refuses to sell out to a gimmicky professional wrestling company even though the money isn't much at the smaller venues. Crusher realizes that he can have a gimmick and self-respect at the same time by playing up his status as a heel so whoever finally takes him down will be a hero, as the issue closes with Peter stepping in to face off.
137	* Yes, even a man as psychotic as Norman Osborn manages to have a moment in Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. [[DownplayedTrope However small]]. Where he sends a letter to Peter saying that he really appreciates the attention he is given and hopes that, despite the fact he kidnapped Aunt May and nearly killed MJ, there's no animosity between them. It's strangely adorable in a psychotic kind of way.
138	* A really minor one, but in the Amazing Spider-Man issue where Harry overdoses, number 96, seeing Norman (as the Goblin) shedding tears for his son is sweet in an odd manner. It'd be one of the few instances where 616!Norman would show his caring side towards Harry.
139	* The still canon 1984 comic ''Spider-Man and the Power Pack'' features two stories meant to teach kids about what they should do if they are being abused. In the Spider-Man story titled ''Secrets'' he encounters a young boy named Tony being sexually abused by his babysitter Judy, and while comforting him reveals how he was also abused by his babysitter Steven "Skip" Westcott. He explains how the young Peter bonded with the older teen despite their age difference as Skip was supportive of Peter's interests and looked after him. However Skip would eventually show Peter inappropriate pictures and touch him inappropriately, and he eventually confessed what was happening to May and Ben when they asked why he longer spent anytime with Skip. While this entire situation is horrible the comic ends on a surprisingly hopeful tone as his story convinces Tony to tell his parents what is happening, and it is revealed that on some level Peter had still blamed himself for what happened but now realizes that it wasn't his fault.
140	** What's also surprising is how aware the writers were as it would have been easy to have both abusers be male or to make Tony a girl. Instead Tony is a POC being abused by a white teenage girl, which makes it clear that anyone can be perpetrators and victims of abuse while avoiding the implication that sexually abusing children has anything to do with homosexuality considering what was happening during the 80s.
141	* One issue of ''Spider-Man Team-Up'' has Abe Jenkins, formerly The Beetle, now operating as MACH-1, helping prove Spidey is innocent of murder. When asked by the other Masters of Evil (this is before the Thunderbolt's dual identities were revealed to the public) why he did so, he says that since Spidey knew they had the evidence, not helping him would make him suspicious, and he might tip off other heroes. He later admits to Moonstone that it was crap. He helped Spidey because Spidey was a stand up guy who helped them, and it was the right thing to do.
142	* In ''Avengers: X-Sanction #4'', ComicBook/{{Cable}} states that in the future, or at least one of the many in the multiverse, Peter will go down as the greatest hero of them all. After seeing everything the wallflower from Queens who got a strong-but-not-extraordinary power set has gone through, all the times he has been beaten down by life, all the times his powers have brought misery to him, and all the times he has briefly succumbed to self-pity and bad decision-making, to hear that he will overcome all of that and become the most beloved hero of all is extremely heartwarming.
143	* In ''ComicBook/WarOfTheRealms'', Peter, being appointed temporary leader of the League of Realms by Thor, is fighting alongside warriors from the other Realms to fight angels from Heven (no, not Abrahamic Heaven, the Tenth Realm). Peter hasn't been getting along with the rest of the League due to them not following his ThouShaltNotKill rule. However, Peter manages to accomplish something major nonlethally. Fernande, the leader of the army, had been starting to doubt her people's involvement in the war due to the Queen allowing Malekith to kill her girlfriend. Spidey, through words of empathy, manages to cement her HeelFaceTurn.

146	* The story begins as Peter comes home to his apartment only to be attacked by armed thugs. A mysterious woman saves him and they escaped; who is this person? [[spoiler: His long-lost younger sister, Teresa Parker.]] The story follows them on a world spanning adventure as they trace their parents' footsteps who were CIA agents. Though at first skeptical, Peter quickly warms to the idea of a newfound sibling and even shares his identity as Spider-Man with her, even battling against Wilson Fisk. [[spoiler: sadly Fisk reveals that he had faked their relationship for his own ends and Teresa suffers memory loss related to the Parker including Peter's secret. None the less, they part on good terms...and then the last scene of the comic shows a college of their parents running a DNA test. Needless to say the his reaction implies that Fisk might have been lying.]]
