10	** The baby squid in the same scene is an adorable UglyCute little being. Even J admits it. The sweet music in the background helps a lot.
11	* Although it being retconned to hell and back in the sequels sort of ruined it, the final scene where the newspaper showed the Agent K was reunited with his lost love and Agent J's simple smile at it.
12	* YMMV, but in an odd way, the memory J thinks up for Edgar's wife after she's been neuralyzed is kind of heartwarming. K makes up that Edgar ran off, and she'll decide she's better off, then J adds that ''she'' threw ''Edgar'' out because he never appreciated her anyway and now she's going to make a fresh start. Considering what little we see, it seemed like an abusive relationship, and the altered memory that she took charge and ended may end up empowering her in the future.
13	* In the beginning, a truckload of frightened [[TheIllegal illegal immigrants]] are stopped by Border Patrol agents. When Agent K steps in, he treats them courteously, welcomes them to the US and lets them go.
14	** It makes sense, seeing as K and the MIB essentially deal with immigration (illegal or otherwise) on an intergalactic scale, and if his actions throughout the movie are anything to go by, he does have a soft spot for those who're just here trying to make a living.
15	* "Men in Black" (the song) encapsulates the organization from the movie, especially the last verse. Yes, they're a heavily armed shadowy conspiracy group that wipes minds like cooks wipe kitchen counters, but they're entirely on humanity's side. It's a hard job, but it's worth it.

17	* After neuralizing Dr. Weaver twice in the span of a minute, K tells the MIB cleanup crew to give her a new memory. J gives him a pointed look and K adds "Make it a...happy memory." J then nods.
18	* The ending shows our entire universe and other universes are [[RecursiveReality just marbles]] being made and played with by an [[EldritchAbomination unimaginably huge alien]]. While is this a frightening prospect ([[NightmareFuel/MenInBlack see Nightmare Fuel]]) its also endearing to see this entity cherish and care about all the universes, keeping them (and by extension us) safe in a pouch where it can never lose them.
19	* The relationship between Orion and his "person." Even though he's an alien in disguise, the cat is fiercely protective of him and even follows him into the morgue after his apparent death. It's clear they loved each other very much.
