3	* Daxter is a heartwarmer in general when you realize that he is the person who has willingly stayed by Jak's side through all of their adventures.
4	** Heck, at the beginning of the second game, when Jak is captured by the guards, Daxter makes an oath to himself that he'll save his best friend from prison. It takes two years, [[GaidenGame one adventure]], and nearly losing his tail, but he succeeded.
5	** Daxter even opts to join Jak in his exile, knowing fully well that the desert is an unforgiving territory and would've killed them both within hours if not for Ashelin leaving a beacon to alert Damas.
6	** Even playing off that, In ''Jak 3'', near the end of the story, Jak and Daxter are surrounded by three Dark Satellites with no way of escaping. Both assuming that their end is near, both Jak and Daxter exchange there ItHasBeenAnHonor, thanking each other for always sticking together through everything. [[TrueCompanions Best Friends]] to the end indeed.
7	* After Daxter takes Jak's place by entering the Class Two Race and winning, the latter tells him [[SoProudOfYou he's proud of him]]. Daxter's reaction makes it even sweeter.
8	* Damas gets one after Jak beats his second arena match:

13	* Jak staying behind at the end of ''Jak 3''.
14	* Jak and Keira's kiss at the end of ''Jak X'' and Jak's reaction to it, despite Daxter interrupting them (again). Even more so because it took four games of ''almosts'' to get there.
15	* Throughout the entire third game, Damas started off seeing Jak as nothing more than a new warrior, but as Jak continues to prove himself more and more, Damas begins to giving Jak advice in battle, then in life in general. Even Jak begins to see Damas as a man worthy of respect, seeing how strong, optimistic, and dedicated that his people survive the oncoming threat to the earth. When Jak does eventually earn the right to be called a Wastelander, Damas was there to given him a beacon for back up and the Armor of Mars, something he was saving for his own son. Jak was so touched by this he felt sad that he had nothing for Damas, to which he replies "You give us hope Jak, that's gift enough".
16	** It's more poignant how when Jak and Daxter are in certain doom, Jak calls for the Wastelanders for help with his beacon, no one shows up and just as the last minute, Damas comes personally to help. He's the Ruler of Spargus City, if anything, he would be the last person to go into dangerous territory, but he still went alone. It's made all the more sadder by his death and never finding out he got to enjoy his last days training his own son into a fine warrior.
17	* The interaction between Jak and The Kid during ''Jak II''. The Kid takes a shine to Jak and is one of the few to immediately like the PhlebotinumRebel. Jak, on the other hand, is visibly startled when The Kid tries [[HoldingHands to take his hand]]. And then TheReveal clinches the deal.

20	* The fact that Jak immediately reverts back to normal upon recognizing Daxter. That Daxter can ride Jak's shoulder safely even while Jak is going [[UnstoppableRage berserk]]. Daxter matching his pose to Jak's mood during those moments. Not only that, but throughout Jak II, while Jak's default emotion seems to be "angry", he noticeably smiles when dealing with Daxter, even occasionally laughing at his friend's antics. This can be seen as early as when the duo turn the water valve, Jak is seen with a smile on his face as Daxter volunteers to turn said valve. And when Daxter gets drunk at the Hip Hog Saloon, Jak is clearly trying to stifle a laugh.
21	** Special mention goes to when Daxter wins the Class Two race. While Jak didn't take part, he did say he watched. Though he said Daxter "drifted a little high on the turns a few times", Jak still said he was proud. Daxter is clearly moved by it and when he said Daxter did great, Daxter replies that "''we'' did great".
