Kind of hard to pick because the franchise is pretty good at doing heartwarming...

* The first book, ''Franklin in the Dark'',[[note]]While not the first episode of the series, it was faithfully adapted into an episode during the first season[[/note]].
** Mrs. Turtle comforts Franklin by shining a flashlight into his shell even though he is afraid of the monsters in it.
** After being reunited with her son following his long journey, Mrs. Turtle treats Franklin to supper and a hug.
** In the television adaptation, Franklin runs to his mother after seeing monsters in his shell, she tells him the story of Little Turtle and it's all a cathartic crowning moment of heartwarming in the end when Mr. Turtle gives Franklin a nightlight in the form of fireflies and he bids his parents goodnight. The adaptation ends with the following exchange:
-->'''Franklin''': That was a good story, Mom. *yawn* Good night.
-->'''Mr. Turtle''': Good night, Franklin.
-->'''Mrs. Turtle''': Night-night, Little Turtle.
* The friendship of Franklin and Bear and their interactions overall. They are truly inseparable and the best of friends ever seen in literature or animation. ThePowerOfFriendship of the two is strong with Franklin being a bit headstrong but always there for his friends and Bear always being honest, kind, and noble no matter what.
* Bear got sick in "Franklin's Halloween" and unfortunately couldn't make it to the Halloween party and haunted house. He mentioned that candy was his favorite part of Halloween and Franklin suggests that he and his friends should combine their candy and give their candy to Bear because he loves candy and he missed out on the fun. They knock leave the bag on his doorstep.
-->'''Franklin, Beaver, Goose, Fox''': Trick ''and'' treat!\
(And when Bear answers the door.)\
'''Bear''': Hello? ...Oh well, it is Halloween. ''(looks down at candy)'' Candies! Thanks guys! Those are the best friends a bear could ever...ah-choo!
* In "Franklin Sees the Big Picture," Franklin unveils a banner of himself sitting on his Granny's lap as a young kid reading the book Mouse in the House. Everyone gives an "aww" and Franklin says that his love of reading came from his Granny reading stories to him. Granny says that it was her pleasure.
* ''Franklin and the Green Knight''
** Towards the end of the film, Franklin admits to Snail that he was worried that his parents wouldn't care about him once the new baby came and Snail admits in return that he was worried Franklin would no longer have any time for him.
** The ending, in which Franklin meets Harriet for the first time, is very sweet. Also, Franklin asks Mrs. Turtle if she remembers bringing him home from the hospital.
--->'''Mrs. Turtle''': It's a day I'll never forget, my Green Knight.
* Fox's crush on Badger. It's really touching that he can look past her handicap and still find her attractive.
* ''Back to School with Franklin'' - Franklin gives Blue Blankie to Harriet, and then Harriet lends it to Kit.
* The entire story of "Hurry Up, Franklin" is very heartwarming. The message and lesson for kids is great because you don't always have to be the fastest and it's best to slow down and take your time every once in a while like Franklin.
** Because the other animals were much quicker than him, none of them noticed Snail slithering on the road until Franklin, a turtle, noticed Snail and after Snail cried because he won’t make it to Bear’s surprise party on time, Franklin helps Snail by carrying him on his shell. Luckily, they both arrive just in time, and this is made all the more sweeter with Bear being more than happy to see Snail make it to the party.
-->'''Everyone''': Happy Birthday, Bear!\
'''Bear''': Thanks guys! What a surprise!\
'''Snail''': Ahem.\
'''Bear''': Snail, you made it on time!\
'''Snail''': Thanks to Franklin. Happy Birthday, Bear!\
'''Bear''': Thanks Snail! Glad you could make it!
** Being a turtle, not only is Franklin slow, but he stopped himself many times to collect things like a colorful rock, sea shell, and four-leaf clover. It turns out that he was collecting things to give as a birthday present to Bear, including Bear's missing baseball cap that Franklin found for him. The ending with Bear hugging Franklin and all of Bear's friends having a blast at the party really brings the whole episode home.
-->'''Franklin''': They're treasures. And they're all for you, Bear. Happy Birthday!\
'''Bear''': Really? Thanks! You may not be the fastest, Franklin, but you're one of the best buddies a bear could have.
* In "Franklin and the Grump," Mr. Groundhog tries to cancel Groundhog Day because he's tired of some of the folks getting upset because they don't like the forecast they hear. After he tells Franklin that he's not coming out, Franklin invites the entire neighborhood to come ''into'' his place, so that they can just celebrate Mr. Groundhog himself.
-->'''Mr. Groundhog''': Everyone came to see me, and not my shadow?
* In "Franklin in the Thunderstorm," Franklin gets scared of the thunder and lightning and hides in his shell. Bear notes that he never told him he was afraid of thunderstorms and he says he was afraid he would laugh at him. Bear points out that Franklin didn't laugh at him for being scared of spiders and the others point out how he didn't laugh at them when they all spooked themselves out over a tree branch tapping on the window.
-->'''Beaver''': We were scared silly.
-->'''Snail''': (''perched on Franklin's shell'') Good thing Franklin was here.
* ''Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure'': When the turtle talisman fails to heal Granny, like Franklin hoped, he shows her (at least he tries) the other things she put in the time capsule she buried at Turtle Lake, where she lived before the big forest fire that destroyed her home and claimed her parents' lives. Just as Franklin is about to put a sealed envelope in Granny's hand, she mumbles, hinting she wants him to open it. When he does, she lets out a gasp, and Franklin pulls out what's in the envelope: an old photo of Granny as a baby with her parents. This fully wakes and heals Granny, who wanted to see that picture--the ''real'' titular treasure--again.
* The culmination of Franklin and Harriet’s relationship as seen in the book ''Franklin and Harriet''.
* In "Franklin Forgives," Franklin is terribly upset with Harriet for knocking his pet goldfish Goldie into the pond and refuses to forgive her. This culminates with her trying to sneak out in the morning to go the lake to search for Goldie, but he stops her, saying that it'd be way worse if they lost her than losing Goldie. She asks him if he's not mad anymore and he says that he'll forgive her for losing Goldie if she'll forgive him for being so rotten to her. "We forgive us!" she declares and they hug each other.
* "Franklin Takes a Trip" starts with Franklin receiving a postcard from Goose, and at the end of the episode, he decides to send an old-fashioned postcard to her.
