[[folder:Ganondorf]]
* So, what's up with Ganondorf in ''Four Swords Adventures''? The Gerudo make it sound like he hasn't even become Ganon yet. So are there really two Ganondorfs, or what?
** As ''Hyrule Historia'' explains, Ganondorf in this game is a reincarnation of the initial Ganondorf who's appeared in all the previous games. Specifically, he was reborn after being killed during the events of ''Twilight Princess'' in the Child timeline.

* How does this game take place after Twilight Princess on the Child Timeline?
** Ganondorf was reborn after ''Twilight Princess''. He stole the trident. The rest of the game happened. That's it.
*** (3rd troper here.) That just begs the question of where the Trident came from. The Dark Mirror we can HandWave as being made from shards of the Mirror Of Twilight, but the Trident? Where was that in ''Ocarina of Time'' or ''Twilight Princess''?
*** The trident could’ve been somewhere in the world that Link wasn’t able to visit in previous games, much like the Four Sword. Either that or it wasn’t created until after the events of Twilight Princess.

[[folder: Four Sword power]]
* Is the Four Sword losing its power between each stage ever properly explained? I know it needs Force Gems to regain that power, but that doesn't explain why a.) they need to be recollected in each stage, or b.) why the Links can't bring Force Gems from previous stages with them.
** Destroying the barriers at the end of each stage is probably what causes the sword’s power to be continually post — it is contending with the power of not one but two evil villains, after all. As for the Force Gems, those turn into Force Fairies at the end of each stage, which is how you increase your count of them.
*** (3rd troper here.) It's a case of GameplayAndStorySegregation, plus apparently an inherited element from ''Four Swords'' where you had to finish with a good bit of Rupees to get even a Silver Key. Not that it was hard to rack up those Rupees, but still...
