* Okay, for some bizarre reason Marvel doesn't want Spider-Man film action figures to be in convention videos. Why does Randomguy use them at all? It's not like he doesn't have any number of minor Marvel characters available to use.
** I guess because for the most part, they look better. For example, the Gobby action figure is much closer to what we imagine to be Green Goblin in the comics. Also, it looks to me like most of them articulate better, showing a wider range of action and emotion.
** Huh? He uses the movie action figures because he thinks they look better. In any event, the movie figures are now "standard." Any other action figure is deviant and creates comment.
** Original poster here; I should've phrased the question better. Couldn't he just refrain from using ''any'' Spider-Man characters in the convention videos? He has plenty of other characters who ''don't'' have restrictions in place that he can use for jokes instead. Although I do wonder why Marvel never complained about Randomguy using the Iron Man figure from the movie...
*** He probably doesn't want to deny himself the use of what is probably Marvel's most iconic, recognisable and popular character just out of pique or pedantry over not being able to use the same Spider-Man figure he uses in his other clips, particular since he's got a perfectly acceptable (if noticeably different) alternative figure to use instead. And why would he? It's not like it's ''that'' huge a hardship to have to find and use a different Spider-Man figure instead -- there's a fair few floating around. As for why Iron Man's acceptable, the likeness of Iron Man from the movies is owned by Marvel Studios, so it's pretty much owned by Marvel anyway, where the likeness of Spider-Man from the movies is owned by Sony -- it's probably more that there's potential rights issues rather than Marvel objecting just for the hell of it.
* Why did Batman have to grab Spidey's hand at all? Can't he, you know, stick to walls?
** RuleOfDrama, and he might have been far enough away he couldn't have stuck.
* I've noticed that sometimes people add stuff about "Rorschach and Deadpool" to ComicBook/{{Deadpool}}'s articles, as if they belong in the same canon as the original comic books (Someone better check the Moment pages for these; I remembered I haven't yet.) Do they ever do the same to the Comicbook/{{Watchmen}} articles?
** Deadpool is an extremely meta guy. He knows all about all his products, unlike those oneshot Watchmen.
* How did Superman pull that teleporting act at the end of Happy Hour?
** SuperSpeed of course.
