* ''How'' these people get their licenses is something that puzzles [[InUniverse even the host and experts]]!
** They usually say how they got them, such as knowing the examiner or flirting with him. Most are borderline illegal.
** In Aaron's case (Season Seven), the headscratcher was "why was his license still valid after he was in a coma for two months?"
*** Because driver's licenses aren't revoked just because the possessor is in a coma and two months is not enough for it to expire.
** Father Giles is easier to understand--his license was issued during a different time in a different driving culture.
*** This is blatantly stated to be the case for Shirley. Incidentally, her biggest fear is highway driving, and her part of Canada simply didn't have highways when she got her licence.
** From Season 8, Kevin has a ''glass eye!'' That's right. He is literally half-blind. How does someone with no depth perception or right-side peripheral vision get a driver's licence?
*** Depends on whether it was issued before or after he lost the eye.
*** [[http://www.losteye.com/depthper.htm Turns out]], [[RealityIsUnrealistic depth perception doesn't have much effect on driving. Or a lot of things]].
*** Many people with glass eyes or who are blind in one eye can drive perfectly fine. Having a glass eye was something he used as an ''excuse'' for bad driving, but he'd be just as bad a driver with two eyes, because he simply didn't look where he was going--ever.
*** Perhaps the question should be expressed as "How does a person with one eye pass the vision test required to get a license?"
*** Possibly answered with Jason in Season 10 -- he passed his initial eye test when he first got a license, so he doesn't have to take another eye exam until he turns '''80'''.
** Heck, Sholom from Season 11 flat out admitted that if ''he'' got his license, there was definitely something amiss.
** Season 14 Brittany was stated to have failed her first eleven attempts in Victoria, but on her twelfth attempt, she went to Duncan (a town that has only seven traffic lights at the time of writing), and passed. In her case, it's taking the test in an easy city.
** One thing that's noted is that certain things you would expect to be covered as essential driving knowledge on driving tests in fact isn't covered.

* How in the hell did they not expel Dale for chasing Andrew? Not only is that reckless and dangerous, I'm pretty sure it's a felony. Like I get Scott was already expelled but really? The bitch chased him!
** If she hadn't apologized, I think she would have been booted. Scott never apologized.
** Canada uses indictable offenses, not felonies. But, yes, intentionally trying to run someone over with a car is assault with a weapon, an indictable offense under the Criminal Code of Canada. Presumably, had she not apologised, they would have pursued criminal charges.

* How the freaking hell did Chanie nearly flip the car?
** The way that she was driving and the fact that she lost control while driving distracted caused her to get the styrofoam block under her wheels (from what I can see). The car was bouncing pretty solidly by that point so it wouldn't surprise me.

* Why did Colin take Police Foundation courses at his college, if he looks down on Police?
** My guess would be that he had the "old boys club" mentality that some cops (and wannabe cops) have and he figured that by becoming a cop, he'd be able to do what he pleased and not get in trouble for it. Boy howdy, reality needs to ensue.

* So is the show not allowed to expel people anymore? Only reason I'm asking is Season 12's Krystal really did not care about rehab at all, showed a poor attitude to the panel and Andrew, and yet she was not expelled compared to Colin and Scott.
** Scott was kicked off by his nominator when he lost insurance. Colin was kicked off not simply for attitude but for being actively malicious. Neither of these applied to Krystal.

* In Season 6, two drivers were not allowed to complete their drives because they went 50 over the limit, but drivers in previous seasons also exceeded the limit by at least that much (in Season 2 Colin went 120 in a 60 and in Season 5 Angelina went 100 in a 50), so why were they not stopped?
