* When Haru first arrives to the Cat Bureau, she's formally introduced to the Baron and his two companions Muta the cat and Toto the crow. The Baron and Toto are polite to Haru, but Muta offers NoSympathy to Haru, resulting in Toto attacking him for being [[{{Pun}} catty]]. The Baron simply tells Haru to come into the bureau and ignore Toto and Muta, leaving the two to engage in literal SnarkToSnarkCombat in the background and then offscreen.
-->'''Toto:''' At least I don't lick off all my hair and then swallow it!
-->'''Muta:''' Try that again, chicken wings!
-->'''Toto:''' ''(after striking Muta)'' Can't you tell the difference between a chicken and a crow!
-->'''Muta:''' Of course I can, I'm not the birdbrain here!
-->'''Toto:''' Well at least I don't look like a giant marshmallow.
-->'''Muta:''' Oh yeah, well at least I don't have a birdbrain!
-->'''Toto:''' You already said that you idiot!
-->'''Muta:''' I did, all right, then go fry yourself you big chicken!
-->'''Toto:''' You already called me a chicken too! You got a hairball in your brain!
* In one of the movie's brief moments of black comedy, it seems Muta jumped into a giant jar of jelly and died from it. The other cats tell this to Haru, who starts crying, and they try to get her to the royal feast. When she refuses to leave Muta, they just go "Alright, we'll bring him along" and wheel it away with Haru still clinging to it. Thankfully, Muta is fine.
* The various acts the cats put on to entertain Haru during the pre-wedding feast. It's especially hilarious when it cuts back to Haru either crying hysterically or looking completely uninterested the entire time.
** Especially funny is when one of the acts gets tossed out the window and later, one of the guests gets tossed out the window too for laughing.
** Even funnier: The ones throwing said cats out the windows are cats wearing executioner's hoods. It's a brilliant bit of black comedy.
** And to add to the hilarity, the movie basically pauses just so you can hear them screaming from the fall.
** Plus, the camera angle may remind viewers of [[WesternAnimation/TheEmperorsNewGroove someone who threw off an Emperor's groove.]]
** Finally, as a bit of a BrickJoke, both cats can be seen in the background when Haru, Mura, and Baron escape the dinner party, sitting dejectedly at the base of the tower.
* Haru's {{Imagine Spot}} of getting married to a cat. "I now pronounce you cat and wife."
* The King and his DecadentCourt look through binoculars as Haru, Baron and Muta go into the maze that no one has ever successfully solved.
-->'''Cat King:''' Perfect! [''turns to a fancy pavilion with refreshments''] [[PassThePopcorn We can watch them go nuts from up here]].
* Muta attempts a DungeonBypass by climbing the maze walls.
-->'''Haru:''' Muta, you're cheating.\
'''Muta:''' Give me a break. [[TemptingFate Like you think I'm gonna get in trouble?]]\
([[InstantlyProvenWrong Guards Approach Muta]])\
'''Guard:''' [[NoFairCheating HE'S CHEEEEEAATING!!!]]\
(Guards chase him)\
'''Muta:''' [[LampshadeHanging She's gonna rub this in my face, isn't she?]]
* Later on, the Cat King is seen playing golf, and hits a golf ball right into the center of the maze... where it promptly knocks out the last guard trying to arrest Muta for cheating.
-->'''Natori:''' [''looking through binoculars''] Your majesty, it seems you've hit one of ours.\
'''Cat King:''' I did? Let's keep that between us, shall we?
* And after that, when they learn that the cats holding up the fake walls had accidentally lined up like dominos. The Baron knocks them all down with one kick. Natori, meanwhile, groans over how stupid they were to do something like that.
* The Cat King's hilariously callous reaction to learning that Lune [[spoiler:has already chosen a bride]], coupled with Haru's blase reaction. Tim Curry's and Anne Hathaway's acting just sells it.
-->'''Cat King:''' Poor Haru, you must feel like such a '''loser'''.\
'''Haru:''' Not really.
* "Was that a no?"
* Combined with a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome for Muta: When the heroes are escaping the castle, Haru is worried that Muta is still stuck in the middle of the ballroom, surrounded by soldiers. A second later, the movie cuts to Muta swinging from a chain hanging from the ceiling, while the soldiers fall over each other trying to get at him. The Baron calmly notes that Muta's doing fine. After they escape, Muta catches up and is pissed that they didn't wait for him.
* The king's craziness in general. One point in particular is when he declares that he will stop Haru from escaping by blowing up the tower. The chancellor, Natori, freaks out, and then tries to stop him by insisting that he doesn't know where the detonator is. As soon as he says this, Natoru cheerfully hands over the detonator.
-->'''Natoru:''' ''Look what I found!''
* When Baron, Haru, and Muta make their way to the top of the tower, they're suddenly cornered by a handful of guards. Suddenly, the stairs beneath the guards ''abruptly crumble away'', leaving them to plummet off of the tower. The Cat King and his followers are left flabbergasted.
-->'''Natori:''' ...I'll have a word with the contractors.
* Renaldo Moon is the greatest criminal in cat history, for having eaten all the food in the ''entire kingdom''. Is there any surprise that it's [[spoiler:Muta]]? Baron didn't take well to the news.
** "Did you really, [[spoiler:Muta]]? That's disgusting!"
* The initial arrival of the Cat King and his entourage first arrive to bestow their appreciation to Haru for her actions; they trundle into her neighbourhood late at night, riling up the local cats - who are then accosted by black and white cats with suit-esque patterns, jogging alongside the procession like security guards, who proceed to ''hurl'' the local cats over walls and hedges.
* '''Haru:''' ''I had fun!''
* '''Muta:''' ''Really? I didn't!''
