1	* Any cartoon where characters are to remain absolutely quiet and not make ''any'' kind of noise, lest they disturb someone else and risk serious consequences, is sure to become this. This includes ''Rock-a-Bye Bear'' and ''Deputy Droopy''.
2	* Anytime the eponymous bear from ''Rock-a-Bye Bear'' is onscreen with his [[NoIndoorVoice lack of an indoor voice]].
3	** "SHADUP! QUIET! I HATE NOISE! I SAY I CAN'T! STAND! NOOOOISE!"
4	*** He immediately follows this with a similarly loud and aggressive “WELL, DON’T JUST STAND THERE!!! COME ON IN!!!” which seems to imply even when he’s not angry, he still sounds like it naturally.
5	** "WHATSAMATTER?!?! YOU DEEF OR SUMFIN?!?!"
6	** "I'M GOING TO BED NOOOOW!!!"
7	** "GOOOOOOOD NIGHT!!"
8	** When Spike quietly whistles at the pin-up on the wall, the bear instantly pops out and starts beating him over the head. Spike tries in vain to protect himself by putting the centerfold over his head... which clearly does absolutely nothing.
9	** The other dog who wants to steal Spike's job tries having Spike wake up the bear by any means, including throwing dishes to break them. Spike catches them with all of his paws... and a peppermill lands on his nose. He manages to move it all outside before the inevitable sneeze ''[[ItMakesSenseInContext using his ass]]''.
10	** The other dog uses a skunk on Spike. How that is supposed to trigger a response loud enough from Spike to wake up the bear is not explained, but Spike goes outside, holds his nose and voices his disgust.
11	** Turns out ''NOTHING'' can wake up the bear as his whole house gets destroyed bar the cave part where he hibernates and he doesn't react... except when he hears someone whistling, even mildly.
12	* ''Half-Pint Pygmy'' is a George and Junior cartoon that's been banned from airing due to the main character being a grotesquely racist caricature yet the short itself has some of the strangest and surrealist imagery in all of the Golden Age of Animation including a giraffe who's, in place of his head, ''is another headless giraffe.''
13	* Butch's mental breakdown at the end of ''Droopy's Double Trouble'', where he screams and starts slapping himself with his own feet.
14	** Also his breakdown at the end of ''Wags to Riches''.

24	** A BlackComedy example is when one attendee, clearly upset with how the game is going, starts shouting “KILL THE UMPIRE! KIIIILL THE UMPIRE!!!” only for someone to ''actually do it''. The entire crowd has a moment of silence [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor while the heckler looks utterly ashamed]].
25	* “The Three Little Pups” has one scene where the dog catcher swallows Droopy’s TV while trying to suck the pups through the window. A couple scenes later, Droopy and his brothers are watching TV again with Droopy commenting that the audience shouldn’t ask how they got it back.
26	** When the dog catcher is trying to lure the pups out with a cat puppet, he keeps making “meow” sounds until he get frustrated that they aren’t taking the bait and shouts in his normal drawl “MEOW, MAN!” and then goes back to meowing.
27	* WesternAnimation/WhoKilledWho is an almost non-stop collection of ridiculous and amazing jokes.
28	** The visual gag of the killer getting out his seemingly normal sized gun, then we zoom out and see the gun is bigger than the killer himself.
29	** Later the killer fires off several shots to shoot the detective. [[OverlyLongGag As in an inordinate amount]] that makes the gun have to rest and pant for a bit. [[EpicFail And they all miss.]]
30	** [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext The detective getting beat up by Santa Claus.]]
31	** And of course, the iconic Red Skeleton.
