''WesternAnimation/SnoopyComeHome'' may be one of the most [[TearJerker soul-crushing]] movies there is, but there's always a calm before the storm, and the calms are more [[SugarWiki/FunnyMoments frenetic winds of hilarity]] than anything.
----
* In the opening, Linus and Charlie are at the beach. Charlie throws a rock into the ocean, and Linus calls him out:
-->'''Linus:''' Nice going, Charlie Brown! It took that rock thousands of years to get to the shore, and now you've thrown it back.\
'''Charlie Brown:''' Everything I do makes me feel guilty...
* When Snoopy is dictating to Woodstock [[StronglyWordedLetter his letter protesting the beach's new "No Dogs Allowed" policy]], he gets carried away and accidentally claims he's a taxpayer. The [[LuminescentBlush embarrassed look]] on Snoopy's face when Woodstock points out his mistake was priceless.
* When Snoopy is visiting the library and looking at the books, he for some reason decides to ''lick'' them, then understandably grimaces at the taste.
** Sally is browsing the books, pulling them out to look at the covers. The third she pulls out is Snoopy's nose.
* Woodstock's "flying". He wasn't a very good flier even in the strips, but seeing it in motion is just hilarious. He twirls and even flies upside down as if he's constantly off balance.
** Snoopy and Woodstock come to a sidewalk grate. Snoopy is big enough to walk across it, but Woodstock, fearing falling in, decides to walk up and down every metal bar, which [[OverlyLongGag takes him nearly a minute]] while Snoopy waits for him. When Woodstock attempts to do it again at a second grate, Snoopy just carries him.
* The boxing match between Lucy and Snoopy (with Snoopy wearing his glove on his nose). It's quite a tussle, but is concluded when Snoopy kisses Lucy.
* Charlie Brown faints at the news about who Lila is. Several times. ...''Before'' Linus tells him the news!
-->'''Linus:''' Are you ready for a shock?\
''(Charlie Brown promptly faints)''\
'''Linus:''' [[YesNoAnswerInterpretation He wasn't ready for a shock.]]
** Charlie keeps fainting several times during the exposition as well.
* [[ItMakesSenseInContext After Snoopy spends the night in a nest with Woodstock]], Snoopy's alarm clock wakes him up and he [[RingRingCrunch whacks it]]. This causes a sleeping Woodstock to randomly burst into laughter... until [[ButtMonkey Snoopy whacks him, too]].
* ''[[RunningGag NOOOOO DOOOOGGGS ALLLOOOOWWWED!....]]''
** ''THAT GOES FOR BIIIIIIIIRDS!''
** Cats are A-OK, it seems.
* Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty at the carnival. Just them entering the carnival is hilarious, because the first thing Charlie does is get caught in the entrance turnstile, spin around it several times and then get thrown off. Patty remarks that she has seen people get motion sickness from the roller coaster and the bumper cars, but never from the turnstile.
** While going through a spinning tunnel, Patty has no problem staying on her feet. Chuck doesn't have any luck.
*** After going on several rides, Patty asks, "Aren't we having fun?" Charlie, who looks half dead at that point, doesn't seem to agree.
** The fortunes they get from the Fortune Telling Machine:
--->'''Peppermint Patty's card:''' You are a very loving person, and your life will be filled with romance.\
'''Charlie Brown's card:''' FORGET IT, KID.
* While otherwise a very sad, emotional scene, the going-away party has a few. There's this part where Charlie has speak to the entire room. Before he can make his speech, Snoopy starts sobbing. Charlie then cries in the most hilariously forced way possible.
** Snoopy spends much of the party crying as everyone hands him their going away gifts... until Pigpen does so, and his dust unintentionally causes Snoopy to go into a coughing fit.
* The ending has Snoopy typing letters to Schroeder, Linus and Charlie. He demands the return of his presents from Schroeder and Linus but Charlie's letter says since Snoopy gave him nothing, he owes Snoopy nothing.
-->'''Lucy:''' That's it, Charlie Brown! He's your dog, and you're welcome to him!
* Lucy taunts Charlie Brown while they play ''TabletopGame/{{Monopoly}}'', [[LaserGuidedKarma but then]]...
-->'''Lucy:''' [[OhCrap Oh, no! Not on Pacific, with hotels!?]]\
'''Schroeder:''' Pay me $1,275, please.\
'''Lucy:''' Schroeder, Schroeder, how about a beep on the nose?\
'''Schroeder:''' A what?\
'''Lucy:''' ''(boops Schroder's nose)'' BEEP! A beep on the nose is a sign of great affection.\
'''Schroeder:''' I'd rather have the $1,275, please. Pay up!
* Although the going away party is sad, there is one funny moment. Everyone gives Snoopy the same going away present... a bone.
* Also a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome for Snoopy, during his getaway attempt: Clara chases him and Woodstock around the house, complete with a {{Scooby Dooby Door|s}} scene but ends up with a fishbowl stuck on her head. The "stray dog" uses this opportunity to get himself and his little pal out of there, before she recovers.
* This exchange between Linus and Charlie at the brick wall, taken directly from the strip.
-->'''Charlie:''' I'm depressed, Linus. I need an encouraging word to cheer me up.\
'''Linus:''' Happiness lies in our destiny like a cloudless sky before the storms of tomorrow destroy the dreams of yesterday and last week.\
'''Charlie:''' I think that blanket is doing something to you.
