24	* Eggman's BigWhat on two occasions. In the "Black Comet" Hero ending, before the boss fight, he sounds completely dumbfounded as to why Shadow wouldn't want to give him the Chaos Emeralds. In the "Cosmic Fall" Dark ending, before the boss fight, Eggman sounds rather disproportionately aggravated, as though he resents having his little monologue interrupted.
25	* Sonic's interactions with the serious and moody Shadow deserves some mention. Here are some particular scenes:

Then the alarm starts blaring and the OhCrap look on his face is priceless. It's like, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that part..." Then he has a flashback which takes him to one of the harder levels in the game, which serves him right.

The stage normally has them spread out across the facility, so the multiple playthroughs needed to access Expert Mode have primed you to expect the same thing here. But as you run through the stage, you suddenly realize that you haven't found any of them. Weird. You start searching more intently, keeping your eyes peeled, but they're still nowhere to be seen. You're not going insane, are you? You run around looking in every room for them, checking every nook and cranny, but keep coming up short. Then, near the end of the stage, after potentially getting lost once or twice, at the peak of your frustration and confusion, just when you're about to restart the stage, you find a heal unit right in front of the door where the Goal Ring was in the regular stage. You go through the door... and find all ten scientists in the same room waiting to be healed. [[TrollingCreator You just got pranked.]]
70	** Maria is the one who voices the Hint Ring for this stage. This means the [[NotSoAboveItAll ghost of Maria was in on the joke]]. In fact, since she knew Shadow so well, it's possible that the whole thing was ''her'' idea. You can practically hear her laughing her ass off at you from beyond the grave.
