3	For all the grimness of ''Resident Evil 5'', there are still a few moments where one can't help but snicker.

7	* A particularly [[IncrediblyLamePun cringeworthy]] funny moment in ''VideoGame/ResidentEvil5'': during the first battle with Wesker, he may at certain points suddenly shout "Your future HINGES upon this fight!" and then literally kick you through a door.
8	** Speaking of Wesker, the beginning of the second fight with him where he takes off his sunglasses and throws them at Chris, and Chris catches them with an epic WTF look on his face before Wesker shoulder checks him.
9	** The moment you realize that one piece of the fight requires you to turn off the lights so [[SunglassesAtNight he can't see you]] is liable to make for an amusing surprise.
10	* When Chris and Sheva fight an Uroboros-infused Excella, Chris lampshades that he is in a giant monster movie, complete with dramatic music blaring in the background.
11	* For a contest, someone made a WesternAnimation/JohnnyBravo soundpack for Wesker. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EKfOzAW5ww You may never be able to take him seriously again.]]
12	* When you're exploring the ship, you can actually stop by the bridge, where the captain's chair is. Interacting with it has Chris/Sheva sitting in it and saying something [[CasualDangerDialogue one wouldn't normally say given their situation]], before stating that they need to get going.

36	* [[IncomingHam Speaking of ham]], Barry Burton makes his return in the Mercenaries Reunion mode and brings along some of his iconic lines from the first ''Resident Evil'' when using his melee moves against the Majini. Seeing Barry execute a zombie on the ground while shouting "WHAT IS THIS?" for no reason is enough to make him one of the most fun new additions to the game mode.
37	* Rebecca Chambers also returns alongside Barry, armed to the teeth with one of the best loadouts on the roster with powerful weapons and multiple healing items at her disposal. Once you look at her melee moves, however, she goes from badass to hilarious and straight up adorable, having one particular move called the Rump Shaker where she jumps at a Majini and [[AssKicksYou slams her ass against them]].
