* "Who do you think's gonna get the worst of this - Maxie, or Africa?!"
* Max O'Hara in Africa, with his horse.
--> '''O'Hara''': (''first his horse runs around in circles'') Don't do that! Don't do that! (''then it keeps bucking off the saddle'') Can't you cooperate?!
* Watching O'Hara and Crawford peeking out from behind their hiding place before Jill laughs at them and tells them it's safe to come out. Something about two grown men hiding behind a tree gets me.
* At one point, after breaking Joe out of police custody, an unfortunate vagrant tries sneaking into the truck transporting him. The poor guy [[{{Pun}} goes ape]] when he opens a truck door and sees a giant gorilla growling at him.
* After the tug-of-war battle, Joe briefly gets into a little boxing match with Carnera. As one would expect, it doesn't end well for Carnera, who gets tossed off the stage and lands butt first onto a nearby table.
** Before that, the resigned way the seventh or eighth strongmen to get pulled into the water each give a last token yank or two, then drop into the drink with as much dignity as they can muster. At least they avoided the embarrassment of flailing around wildly, like those who resorted to dangling from the rope!
* When O'Hara tries his heart attack routine on the police a second time, clutching his chest and staggering. This time the cops don't fall for the act...
--> '''O'Hara''': Oh! I think I'm gonna have another heart attack!
--> '''Schultz''': (''shoves O'Hara into a police car'') Fine, have it in there!
* Months after Joe gets saved and life has returned to normal for O'Hara. A young talent agent approaches him with an idea...
--> '''Agent''': Maxie, I can get you a great act; it can work on a raft.
--> '''O'Hara''': What?
--> '''Agent''': Monkeys!
--> '''O'Hara''': [[DudeNotFunny Awww! nix, cut it out, will ya'?]]

* When Joe holds Gregg by his leg just as Jill rushes into the scene.
-->'''Gregg''': Hey, can you get him to put me down?
-->'''Jill''': Joe, drop him.
-->(''Joe drops him roughly, and Greg passes out'')
** When Jill sees Gregg step out of the infirmary the next day.
-->'''Jill''': He's walking already? Hmph. Joe should've dropped him harder.
* This gem with Harry Ruben and Cecily Banks when Joe's truck arrives at the LA reserve.
-->'''Harry''': The fun begins.
-->''' Cecily''': You hear that, Harry? They smell him.
-->'''Harry''': Who, Gregg or the gorilla?
* Jill's first exposure to western culture is a commercial for Spray-On Hair, which she watches with an expression that screams, "What is wrong with this place?"
* Joe plays hide-and-seek with Harry.
-->'''Gregg:''' Good thing Joe didn't want to play doctor.
* Gregg warns a security guard that he shouldn't point a gun at Joe. Then Jill suddenly knocks out the guard with a tranquilizer dart and innocently tells Gregg that the guard didn't believe him.
* The obnoxious driver who ScreamsLikeALittleGirl after Joe climbs over his car. Joe looks at the driver and shakes his head with a "hmph," like he's laughing at the guy.
* Right after that, Joe accidentally sets off a car alarm and tries to stop it by ''mashing'' the car, making the alarm run through ''several'' sounds you wouldn't typically hear in a car alarm. When the alarm finally stops, Joe nods and gives a satisfied grunt. At the same time, four amused teenage boys watch from nearby and cheer him on.
* In the carnival scene where a vendor's customers are shooting at plastic animals, the vendor sees Joe and runs like hell, but the customers don't notice or hear Joe behind them.
