* The sheer {{Irony}} of Robbie's character that, in his pursuit to get to the townspeople to be lazy via elaborate machinations, machines or traps, he becomes one of [=LazyTown=]'s most active citizens.
* In one episode, the disguise machine malfunctions and displays Out of Order signs instead of costumes. Robbie gives an annoyed groan and sigh as he walks to the one working costume, rolling his eyes.
* In both "Crystal Caper" and "Prince Stingy", Sportacus saves Stingy and his car from falling into a manhole... by getting run over himself (pictured). [[https://youtu.be/iDjuN_vGE8E?t=23s It's on the verge of becoming a meme]].
* This exchange from the first episode:
--> '''Robbie Rotten:''' [[MemeticMutation Have you ever heard the sound of a rubber ball breaking a window?]]
--> '''Trixie:''' Uh-uh.
--> '''Robbie Rotten:''' [[SuddenlyShouting WOULD YOU LIKE TO?]]
** What's even funnier is that you can clearly see Stefan Karl [[{{Corpsing}} struggling not to break character]] when he says the last line
** After he gets Trixie to smash the window, he mocks Stephanie. "You didn't stand a chance! Now, why don't you sit quietly and do nothing, like a good little girl? Ha-ha-ha-HAAA!". Not so much the line itself, but because his face change expression with nearly every syllable.
** There's also the fact that a couple seconds later you can hear the sound of a rubber ball breaking a window in the background.
* Also from "Crystal Caper", during the song ''Anything Can Happen'' after Robbie seemingly has a HeelFaceTurn:
** Sportacus catches Stephanie as she's dancing in a Dip, before she goes back upright, then, she goes to the other side to have Robbie catch her. ''However'', Robbie wasn't expecting that and [[{{Slapstick}} she comically takes a tumble]]. Crossing over with [[SugarWiki/CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming heartwarming]], Sportacus ''and'' Robbie both quickly move to help her.
** A little later in the song, Sportacus catches Stephanie after she jumps in his arms. A little after that, ''Robbie'' [[HoYay jumps in Sportacus' arms]]. Sportacus just drops Robbie shortly afterwards. Robbie then "walks" off camera on his knees.
* In "Sleepless in Lazytown" Robbie Rotten suggests that they play baseball "bright and early", then suggests three in the afternoon. This gets the logical reply of, "Early?! Three o'clock?!".
* Just about every single LongList of bad costumes Robbie does when he tries to think of disguises, but a particularly funny one in "Swiped Sweets." He goes through a rhyming list that includes a SantaClaus outfit ("Too merry!"), an ape costume ("Too hairy!") and his usual outfit ("Too scary!"). What does he get to next? ''A fairy princess outfit!'' ("Too fairy!") The delighted little noise he makes when he gets to it makes it sound as though [[CreepyCrossdresser he would have]] ''[[CreepyCrossdresser liked]]'' [[CreepyCrossdresser to put that one on!]]
* After trying to sabotage the kids' clubhouse so he can get some much needed sleep, Robbie winds up stuck in a tree on a falling branch. The kids come back and see him in trouble and offer some suggestions:
-->'''Pixel''': Just climb down!
-->'''Robbie''': I can't!
-->'''Stephanie''': Then jump down!
-->'''Robbie''': I won't!
-->'''Trixie''': Then fall down!
-->'''Robbie''': I ''might''.
** Sportacus arrives on the scene to help Robbie and he's less than delighted about it.
-->'''Robbie:''' Help me!!
-->'''Sportacus:''' Robbie! Jump!
-->'''Robbie:''' GO AWAY!
-->'''Sportacus:''' ...you just asked me to help you!
-->'''Robbie:''' Why are you listening to ''me''?!
** After his rescue, Robbie insists that he wasn't scared, only for Trixie to snap a twig, causing him to [[SecurityCling leap into Sportacus's arms]]. After this he promptly falls asleep, exhausted by the day's events, and Sportacus has to carry him off to the side to snooze.
* From the "Lazy Scouts” song:
-->'''Robbie''': We'll walk up a mountain, we'll go camping and always play outdoors.
-->'''Ziggy''': Really?
-->'''Robbie''': Gotcha!
* In the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyWp6t4fn_8 "Good Stuff"]] song, there's a [[FreezeFrameBonus split second]] at 1:14 where Stephanie has a quick but still noticeable change of expression, as if she spotted something offscreen.
* In "Rottenbeard" Robbie tricks the villagers by making them believe that an ancient stone reads "[=LazyTown=] must always be lazy." Stephanie asks if this means that she's not allowed to dance anymore and he crows with glee "Not even the sailor's jig!"
* In "Cry Dinosaur" Robbie tries to scare Sportacus with a rather [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily creepy-looking]] dinosaur disguise. Once he gets the head on, however, he can barely see out of it, and starts [[https://youtu.be/n_otyUm4kYk?t=5m8s running into and stumbling over]] various objects in his lair.
-->'''Robbie:''' No wonder dinosaurs are extinct! They keep bumpin' into things!
** Later, Robbie somehow confuses Ziggy's screaming for Sportacus and chases him round the house getting more aggressively insistent that they just chat.
-->'''Robbie:''' I didn't mean to scare you! I'm sorry! Why don't we sit down and talk about it?!
* In the song "Teamwork", Robbie attempts to knock Sportacus out with an anvil by putting it in the right seat of a seesaw and a white "X" for him to step on. Robbie then calls out for Sportacus, at which point he pulls down the left seat of the seesaw, [[AccidentalAimingSkills only for the anvil to land on Robbie's head instead]].
* In "Zap It!", Sportacus looks curiously at Robbie's periscope. Robbie then looks away, disgusted.
* Pretty much everything involving Robbie and his RobotDog in "[=LazyTown=]'s New Superhero."
-->'''Robbie''': (''BabyTalk voice'') Are you a good dog? No, you're a bad dog. I'll just flip the switch. One... two... three... trouble!
-->'''Robot-dog''': Bow wow wow, bow wow wow, bow wow wow!!! ...
** Later...
-->'''Robbie''': I should've made a sandwich instead of making you!
** "''Here's my little doggie dude / And these are all the shoes he chewed... '''[[WaitWhat What]]?!'''''"
** Stingy angrily telling Ziggy he's "terrible at relaxing".
* In "The Laziest Town," Miss Busybody is answering phones all around town at top speed, but runs out of energy. Sportacus throws her an apple just as Robbie blocks her way, and the apple bounces off his head, knocks him over, and Sportacus gives a sheepish "Oops."
** The ending to the episode has Robbie ''finally'' about to win until his preemptive victory dance saves the town. He's utterly horrified, and as everyone thanks him he runs off to his lair screaming a BigNo.
* In "Remote Control," Robbie uses the remote to pause Sportacus in mid-air. The Mayor sees him floating there and wonders if he's taking a nap, then says that he likes to take naps too.
* "Play Day" has a hilarious ''Film/TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly''-style standoff between Robbie, who's dressed as a cowboy, and Sportacus. As the music tenses dramatically, Robbie suddenly has to scratch his nose, tells Sportacus that that wasn't his move, and commands the music to start up again.
* The entire episode "Secret Agent Zero" is an absurd cornucopia of spy tropes, but this whole gag is some next level madness. It's so drawn out and there's no reason for this puppet to even exist in the first place--it's just there for the gag, until it gains a life of its own.
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': So, Mr. Sportacus, now we meet again... *turns chair around revealing a puppet* ... at last.
-->'''Sportacus''': That not real! That's a puppet!
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': What? *gets up and throws away puppet* Yes, it's a puppet!
-->'''Sportacus''': *confused "What am I even seeing?" face*
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': But I am real... and so is this lever! *opens trapdoor*
** Three seconds later...
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': So, Mr. Meanswell, now we meet again... *same chair gag* ... at last.
-->'''Milford Meanswell''': That not real! That's a puppet!
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': Yes, but I am real... and so is this lever! *trapdoor fails to open*
-->'''Milford Meanswell''': You keep pulling that thing, is something supposed to happen?
** Later...
-->'''Stephanie''': So, Mr. Meansbad, we meet again... *turns chair around* ... at last.
-->'''Fordmil Meansbad''': You're not a puppet! Who are you?
** Epilogue...
-->'''Robbie''': It seemed like a good plan!
-->'''Puppet Fordmil''': So, Mr. Rotten... *turns fuzzy chair around* we meet again!
-->'''Robbie''': That's a puppet!
-->'''Puppet Fordmil''': *laughs maniacally*
-->'''Robbie''': [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall I'm so sick of puppets!]] *runs off screen*
* "Lazytown's Greatest Hits"- where Stephanie and Ziggy try to track down everyone's favorite song- has the scene where Ziggy runs up to Stingy to ask him bout his favorite song... and accidentally splats his trademark lollipop on his car.
-->'''Stingy:''' HEY!
** Then it gets funnier: Stingy reveals his favorite song to Ziggy ("The Mine Song"), yet he pronounces it as "It's Mine". Cue an OverlyLongGag of WhosOnFirst before Stingy snaps and practically ''screams'' the clear title of his song. And then Ziggy proceeds to get it... and promptly slams his lollipop into Stingy's car ''again.''
* After disaster is narrowly averted in "Lazytown's Surprise Santa," Miss Busybody is standing by the window, fanning herself as she recovers from her shock.
-->'''Miss Busybody:''' My, oh my!
-->'''Stingy:''' (runs up) What's wrong with you?
-->'''Miss Busybody:''' The mayor was putting up the Christmas lights!
-->'''Stingy:''' And then?
-->'''Miss Busybody:''' And he got into trouble, and Sportacus saved him!
-->'''Stingy:''' Ahh. [[OncePerEpisode The usual]].
-->'''Miss Busybody:''' Yeah.
** Miss Busybody and Stingy talking about gift giving:
--->'''Miss Busybody:''' Well, they do say it is better to give, than to receive!
--->'''Stingy:''' (gasps) And you ''believe that?''
--->'''Miss Busybody:''' Oh, yes!
--->(Stingy runs off, offended.)
--->'''Miss Busybody:''' (calls after him) Stingy! Giving presents makes you ''feel good''!
--->'''Stingy:''' Feel ''good?'' I feel sick already! Giving presents?! (shudders in disgust)
--->(Stingy looks around frantically at the presents.)
--->'''Stingy:''' Mine! Mine! ''Mine!'' (spies purple gift box) Ahh, and ''mine.'' (hugs purple box) ''[[CargoCult I love you!]]''
** A little while later, Stingy tries shaking the presents by the fireplace to try and guess what they are. He picks up a box and shakes it hard.
--->(Sound of glass breaking. Stingy gasps and puts the box back down gingerly.)
--->'''Stingy:''' ([[BreakingTheFourthWall To camera.]]) Uh...maybe I will...go check on Ziggy, heh heh heh. Ah...
--->(Ducks out of sight, then immediately pops back up.)
--->'''Stingy:''' [[IWasNeverHere I was never here]]. (Ducks back down.)
* The robotic Robbie Rotten in "Dancing Duel". Robbie sends him to prevent a dance competition from taking place, [[DidntThinkThisThrough but the robotic Robbie instead takes part in the competition]].
-->'''Robotic Robbie:''' [[RepetitiveAudioGlitch Robbie will dance.]] [[BrokenRecord Robbie will dance!]] [[OverlyLongGag Robbie will dance!]]
* The "Fun to Be the Mayor" song. Robbie's unflattering imitations of Mayor Meanswell are a riot.
* In "Little Sportacus," Sportacus's fake name when he's been de-aged into a child is... Spob.
* "Pixel TV" has the inherent surrealism of Robbie watching [=LazyTown=] on his TV. When he decides to hijack the programs, the poor Mayor is attempting to read the news but stares blankly at the camera before realizing he has to read what's on his papers.
** The end of the episode has Robbie determined to never think of what happened again, and every single TV channel immediately reports on how Sportacus saved him.
* Robbie spends the entire end of "School Scam" dangling out of a window just outside Mayor Meanswell's office...and somehow, the mayor [[FailedASpotCheck completely fails to notice him]]. The visual of the mayor blithely talking to himself as Robbie flails like crazy is hilarious.
* In "Energy Book," Robbie's comments on his disguises are "too hot" for a safari outfit, "too cold" for a parka, and "too foggy" for a tube completely obscured by fog. When he gets to the fourth tube, holding his usual outfit, he says "''You're'' hot" and then starts laughing, in a moment seemingly improvised.
* The entirety of "The First Day of Summer," which has Robbie completely alone in town for the majority of the episode. He holds several conversations with himself, gives himself free ice cream and figures out his own disguise, makes an imaginary friend and romantic partner in a fly, who beats him in chess, and creates [[Film/CastAway volleyballs of the cast to talk to]] and pretends he's taken over town.
* In "The Lazy Cup," Robbie is disguised as a soccer coach, with his wish if he wins the game being that Sportacus will leave town forever. The Mayor is perfectly fine with it until he says it out loud exactly like Robbie did, complete with an echo on the "forever" part.
* In the song "We Love Sportscandy," Chef Pablo is in the middle of dictating a recipe to the Mayor when he glances at a TV, which is broadcasting a soccer game, and yells "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!" The Mayor repeats it in the same way, and Pablo sheepishly says that soccer is his ''other'' passion besides cooking.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Gk3ymcZLLo This gem]] from "Let's Go to the Moon" as Robbie takes off his helmet in space and promptly starts choking.
* In "The Last Sportscandy" Robbie rejects a Cleopatra costume ("Too queenie"), a Big Bad Wolf costume ("Too meanie"), a toga ("Too leanie")...and a duplicate of his usual outfit ("Handsome as always!").
* Robbie Rotten is taught how to eat a banana by Ziggy in "Time To Learn", being so hungry he forgets a banana is sportscandy. When he realizes this and throws the banana away, its peel ends up factoring into the climax of the episode.
* After Robbie's scheme is once again foiled in "The Wizard of [=LazyTown=]," he grumbles, "Why can't you people just be lazy ''one day''?" As he stalks off, the children giggle--except for Stingy, who matter-of-factly states, [[CaptainObvious "Nooo, it's not gonna happen."]]
** Another funny moment is when Robbie tries the potion he made on himself instead of making him lazy it makes him run and walk backwards while speaking backwards as the kids look on in confusion wondering what's wrong with him after a while Robbie returns to normal as he told himself to try again.
* ''Anything'' involving Stingy and the Mayor in [=LazyTown Extra=]. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5J3c6MlTOM Here's one example]], and here's [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgsgIP2QEk8v a compilation]].
* The ''official'' [=LazyTown=] channel uploaded a video called [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uN-UUeh-yA We Are Number One but it's the original and it's 1 hour long....]], making the "We Are Number One but..." meme an AscendedMeme!
* Meta example: The [[CrossesTheLineTwice infamous]] [[MemeticMutation fan-made]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5tVbVu9Mkg Lil' Jon remix]] of Cooking by the Book. '''WARNING! EXTREMELY NSFW!!!'''
* One of the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUmRjoSlj6Y LazyTown live shows]] has Robbie make a candy apple to trap Sportacus; the 6-ingredient recipe consists of an apple, chocolate, syrup, more syrup, sugar, and more sugar. Upon realizing he could use some help and deciding to recruit other villains, Robbie exclaims it's the second idea he's had this year.
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPLilltYE9E This]] collection of live [=LazyTown=] show footage and stills has a section where Robbie, disguised as a chef, picks out an audience member to be his pretend spouse, then gives Sportacus a sugar apple he claims is organic. When he goes to try it, an adult audience member yells "Noooo! Don't bite it!"
* In 2008, the characters' voice actors did skits as said characters for cell phone ringtones. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kecAXSe5pBQ Robbie]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lza9BcxYQFo Rotten's]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WoO8JwtPo0 ringtones]] are hysterical.
** "Robbie keeps hearing your ringtone" details his increasingly desperate attempts to stop hearing your phone, from putting pillows around it to dipping it in syrup to no avail. Finally, he tries ripping the batteries out... only to learn your phone is solar-powered.
** "Robbie made his own Ringtone but it's annoying" is full of snark as he mocks you for not answering your phone, then threatens to use his [=PhoneChanger=] 6000 to turn it into a can opener.
-->Okay, if you don't answer it, I will! 'Hello! No, sorry, not available right now! Too lazy to ANSWER THE PHONE!' You're lazier than ME!
** "Robbie makes it ring FOREVER!" has him be alternately upset and impressed with your laziness, though he wants you to pick up the phone to learn if Sportacus is leaving town forever.
