->'''Eddy:''' [''near to laughter himself''] Kevin looks like he's ready to bust an artery!

He's not the only one in a series filled to the brim with gut-busting moments. In fact, this is often considered Cartoon Network's funniest show.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU1CX2O5XOk Anytime the Fourth Wall is broken.]]
* Anytime when '''[[BewareTheNiceOnes Edd]]''' snaps. Doubles as an Awesome moment.
* Anything involving [[FunnyForeigner Rolf]]:
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG-xi6Mx5i0 The song of Yeshmiyek]] from [[ChristmasSpecial "Ed Edd 'n' Eddy's Jingle Jingle Jangle"]].
--->Deep below the dirt and rock\
There lives a bearded maiden fair\
Whose kitchen pot is bigger\
Than her size of underwear, HEY!
** "The beast circles with hunger! We must appease it with a sacrifice!".
** Choking at the spelling bee in "Too Smart For His Own Ed": [[GoshDangItToHeck "POPPYCOCK!]] Curse this monkey-ritual of English words!" (''beat, awkward applause from the audience'') "Thank you Nana!"
** The ending of "Dueling Eds": "Son of a gun, [[HereWeGoAgain you insult Rolf]] [[ItMakesSenseInContext by denying the eels]]?!"
** Rolf using a corkscrew to make Swiss cheese in "Stuck in Ed"
** The climax of the Valentines' Day special. "The harsh realities of your miserable lives have been restored! Thank you."
** From "For The Ed, By The Ed": "A wooden board saved you from three evil witches and a creepy-crawly? ''MAMA! The fairy tale that haunts Rolf has come true!''"
** After getting a cow tipped on him in "Ed, Ed and Away": "Never again will Rolf store house keys in his trouser pockets..." Even better is how the split second before the cow falls on him, he has enough time to scream "[[ThisIsGonnaSuck Mama! A bandage for Rolf!]]"
** The entire "That's My Horse" sequence from "Wish You Were Ed", a traditional dance from Rolf's old country that involves slapping your partner upside the head in increasingly violent ways while shouting "That's my horse!"
*** Before that:
----> "Your village idiot has fallen into Rolf's hole. A celebration, I say!"
*** And when he admits to being homesick:
---->'''Rolf:''' Rolf's keister grows cold.\
'''Eddy:''' Rolf's ''what?''\
'''Rolf:''' I grow tired of this-this cold cement, ''[pans to the power grid]'' this-this twisted steel of industry, ''[pans to the playground]'' this confusing leisure delights, ''[pans to Ed, still in the mailbox]'' and your ill-at-ease customs! ''[Ed spits out a letter]''
** Rolf's tall tale about crossing the sea in a leather canoe in "Knock Knock, Who's Ed": "A giant sea cucumber arose from the depths with one eye, ''blinking and blinking'' and looking at Rolf like a ''sandwich''!" Especially funny since most species referred to as "sea cucumbers" don't even ''have'' eyes, much less the capacity to blink.
** While helping Sarah search for her diary in "For Your Ed Only": "The space beneath the rock is vacant, she who gives migraines."
** "Are you weak in the upper story?"
** Being caught on film in the ending of "An Ed is Born": "Are you stealing Rolf's soul with your film-box? Rolf will release his rage now!"
** "Excuse me Ed-boy, a moment of your time? Never use hot wax to soothe enraged lobsters. Thank you."
** "Scourge of the sea, release Rolf! Nana, FIND THE PLIIIERS!!"
** His doomsday speech about school in "Out With The Old, In With The Ed." Or at least, the ''fact'' that it's a doomsday speech. Especially "The time of reckoning is upon us, half-naked Ed boys. For it is here we will be mercilessly judged."
** Everything Rolf says in "Rambling Ed", especially '''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGbXN3NCbl0 "THE BURDEN OF HOSPITALITY IS TOO GREAT FOR ROLF!"]]'''. The DistantReactionShot following this scene makes it even funnier, with Sarah overfilling a teacup at her tea party and Kevin crashing his bike into a fire hydrant.
** Rolf's "trash talk" in "Tag, Yer Ed!"
--->'''Kevin:''' (''laughing at Edd'') You throw like a two-year-old!\
'''Rolf:''' Yeah, and two-year-olds are not even good at stuffing sausages!\
'''Eddy:''' He'll show you!\
'''Kevin:''' Show me what, his butterfly collection?!\
'''Rolf:''' Yeah, and butterflies cannot stuff sausages, either!\
(''later, during the Eds vs. Kankers wrestling match'')\
'''Rolf:''' Your garden is overgrown, and your cucumbers are soft!!
** Talking to Ed about how to break a large rock. "Must Rolf beat some sense into that overcooked noodle that you call a head?!?!"
*** "Rolf truly yearns for the simple life of a noodle-head..."
** The boomerang from "Hand Me Down Ed" getting lodged in his trousers. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g42_3OTeVUk The aftermath must be seen to be believed]].
** Rolf [[ItMakesSenseInContext using his shoes to attack a quarter]] in "One of Those Eds." And when two is not enough, he commandeers Eddy's shoe, too.
*** ''This'' line after he and Kevin get kicked away by Eddy: "May the onion of agony soil your macaroon!"
** In "Rent-a-Ed" when he turns up the steam in the sauna causing his towel to fall off causing everyone to run away. Even funnier is how HE was the one who got offended.
--->'''Rolf:''' I must protest the rudeness of your guests.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHahFyr42K4 Old Man Rolf]].
* Ed's little songs that he sings to himself when doing something.
-->"Dig a hole, dig a hole, dig a hole."\
"Kick my feet, kick my feet, kick my feet."\
"Slide-on-the-soap." ''Squeak'' "Slide-on-the-soap."\
"Eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs..."
* The sound effects that accompany the Eds getting hit, particularly the Sumo Sound Effect, are gold all on their own.
* Most times, Ed is a walking non-sequitur who has his head stashed firmly in the clouds, but sometimes the sci-fi lover in him causes Ed to make unusual references:
-->'''Ed:''' ''(has a bed spring around his neck)'' I'm a [[Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration Borg]].
* Kevin is usually [[AssholeVictim the one who deserves payback most]], but there are a few times when the Eds really let him have it, especially when he got grounded and couldn't go outside. Ed and Eddy were ''overjoyed'' to taunt him.
-->''(Kevin is sitting in the dark, with only his eyes visible)''\
'''Kevin''': Okay... ''now'' I'm mad.\
''(cut to Ed and Eddy, who have sealed up his'' '''''entire house''''' ''with bricks and are laughing hysterically)''
* Quite a lot of the NonSequitur statements Ed randomly spouts out.
-->"I wish I had four stomachs."\
"My mom says not to pick my belly button."\
"Skip to my lou, my darling."\
"Café au lait!"\
"[[YouSayTomato I SAY TOMAHTO!]]"\
"The sound of a babbling brook makes me want to babble, Double D."\
"''E-I-E-I-O!!''"
* Ed's seeming obliviousness and lack of reaction to many types of pain, such as when Jonny rides Kevin's bike up the side of him like a ramp, BlazingInfernoHellfireSauce burns his entire head up like a lit match ("''[[NoSell Hi, Eddy!]]''"), or when he tries to catch a coconut in his mouth, and the first try bounces right off his face.
* Real-life example: After a Cartoon Network announcer joked about how unfortunate Edd's nickname is and the voiceover was shared on Twitter, Samuel Vincent reacted with a gif of Edd clutching at his chest (from "Thick as an Ed").
* The fact that Edd's parents are so germaphobic that they sleep in separate beds and prohibit physical contact in their room.
* Some of Kevin's {{pun}}s with the word "dork" are surprisingly funny.
-->'''Kevin''': I have no idea what you're ''dorking'' about.\
'''Eddy''': Oh, you know what I'm dorking about.\
\
'''Kevin''': Check it out, guys; it's ''dork'' and beans!\
'''Edd''': Beans? An edible seed?
* The fact the most popular ShowWithinAShow is a live-action puppet show of fish swimming.
** Not just TV either, it's availible on VHS too, considering its first appearance in the second episode!
--->'''Marie''': How about a movie? ''Fish Bowl 2'', a classic!
** It's in fact the only thing ever shown on a TV in the series, the only exception being ''The Bongo Show'', a black and white cartoon Ed somehow manages to get into as part of a hide-and-seek game in season 1. Everything else, such as the Cyclops Movie Monster Marathon or the Miss Arduous Field Worker Pageant, take place just off-screen with the characters watching it.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season One]]
* There are some gems right out of the gate with the series pilot, "The Ed-Touchables".
** Eddy is scolded by Edd for removing the labels from his slippers and Edd's bed and is told to put them back on. Instead of restoring the "sack" label to Edd's bed, Eddy adds a label reading "toilet".
** As the Eds chase Jonny, they go through a door in a fence in their own ways: Eddy jumps over it, Edd opens it and closes it on the way, and Ed [[RuleOfFunny squeezes his whole body through a hole in it]].
** Eddy's smug grin as he's "torturing" Jonny and Plank with a water pistol is bound to elicit a few chuckles.
** Eddy giving a HandWave at the end about getting Jonny punished for something he had nothing to do with (and didn't actually happen in the first place) with "[[MiseryBuildsCharacter A little childhood trauma builds character]]". [[LaserGuidedKarma Then the Eds end up losing their jawbreakers 30 seconds before the credits]].
* From the second episode "Pop Goes the Ed", Jimmy shows Rolf some food he brought to the party:
-->'''Jimmy:''' I brought a quiche! Mmm, yummy! (''holds up a steaming tray'')\
'''Rolf:''' It is the food of the (''does BattyLipBurbling'')! THE PARTY IS CUUUUURSED!! (''runs away'')
** And what food did Rolf bring to the party? [[ForeignQueasine A pig's head with an apple stuffed in it's mouth.]]
** The sandbox scene, which perfectly shows off the Eds' personalities in a few choice words.
--->'''Eddy''': W-w-w-wa...ter!\
'''Edd''': H...2O...please...\
'''Ed''': [[TrademarkFavoriteFood Gravy!]]\
'''Eddy''': I'm fryin'! The fat lady just sang, boys.\
'''Ed''': My life is flashing before my eyes!\
'''Eddy''': [[DeadpanSnarker What life?]]
** Swimsuits of the Gods! Well, okay, they belong to Eddy's brother.
--->'''Edd''': My word! They look like napkins!\
'''Ed''': [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Cool box, Eddy.]]
** The Eds' StunnedSilence after their swimsuits snapped off.
** While trying to show Ed and Double-D how to be "hot" for the party, Eddy draws a few fake chest hairs on himself with a pencil, only for Kevin to wipe them off with a sponge when Eddy tries to flaunt them. In retaliation, Eddy gives him a wedgie by yanking his swimming trunks up to his armpits. They're about to come to blows when Nazz defuses the situation by showing up in a bikini, and the two [[ATruceWhileWeGawk literally melt at the sight.]]
* Any of Ed's "[[TotallyRadical cool]]" lines in "[[Recap/EdEddNEddyS1E4OverYourEd Over Your Ed]]."
-->'''Ed''': Swiggity-swag, what's in the bag?
** From the same episode, [[GRatedDrug Edd on a sugar rush]]. Especially when you realize he was the one who came up with Ed's catchphrases. "Ooh, I'm ''brilliant''!"
*** The reason for said sugar rush? While making the Energy Drink, Eddy poured an entire bag of sugar into the mix while Double-D's back was turned after getting fed up with Double-D literally counting each grain of sugar into a spoon.
** Eddy and Double-D giving Ed a bath in the yard.
--->'''Ed''': Am I cool now?\
'''Eddy''': No, you're naked. You need new clothes!
** Ed blundering the sales pitch for the energy drink responsible for said sugar rush.
--->'''Eddy''': (''disinterested'') Ladies and gentlemen...\
'''Ed''': LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!\
'''Eddy''': ...come buy a delicious...\
'''Ed''': COME BUY A DECIDUOUS...uhm...\
'''Eddy''': ...En-oh-gee drink.\
'''Ed''': ...HELLO!
* From "Sir Ed-a-Lot":
** After Eddy's previous attempts at entertaining Sarah as a jester fail, Ed suggests him doing juggling. Eddy juggles with everything impossible, including a boat, a TV set, a fridge, and Double D. Then Ed throws him a cactus, which stabs him in the hand, prompting him to drop everything on the ground. Eddy's face while in pain is what really sells it.
** Jimmy's arrival, dressed up as a prince. Eddy just slams the door in his face.
--> '''Sarah''': Who was it?!
--> '''Eddy''': The frog prince!
** After all the events in the episode result in the house getting wrecked, how do the Eds decide to fix it? With a [[https://ed.fandom.com/wiki/File:Vlcsnap-2014-06-15-22h11m39s186.png poor painting of the kids standing in the middle of the living room]] (they didn't even bother to colour the outlines and the background is left white). Ed's mom will never know for sure.
* From "A Pinch to Grow An Ed": Double D invents a pair of extending boots that can help Eddy become taller. When Eddy tries them out, they turn out to be a total dud... at first.
-->'''Double D''': This remote control, when pressed, activates-\
'''Edd''' ''(snatches away the remote)'': Gimme that!\
''(He presses the button, the boots grow taller by at least a foot. Eddy is not amused.)''\
'''Eddy''': Nice boots, Mr. Inventor-Smarty-Pa... ''(the boots immediately send him flying into the ceiling)'' '''YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!''' ''(CRASH!)''\
'''Eddy''' ''(dazed)'': [[NonSequiturThud Nice pants, Mr. Smarty-Boots-Nice...]]
* "Dawn of the Eds" has the Eds stranded in the dump acting out a B-movie Ed wanted to see, with Ed narrating throughout. Even when they stop playing, Ed won't stop narrating and has to be dragged back home.
** The sight of Ed with bottles stuck on his fingers.
** A rare moment of snark from Ed when he's disappointed the movie is adults only.
--->'''Edd:''' Don't worry, Ed. We'll be able to see it on TV in a year.\
'''Ed:''' Yeah, with all the good stuff cut out.
** Edd testing his prototype escape rocket on Eddy. It disintegrates in midflight, so Edd deploys the parachute, but then drops the remote, causing the parachute to latch off and drop Eddy on top of Edd.
* ALL of "Vert-Ed-Go", in which the Eds make a tree-house is full of this. However, Eddy's deadpan remark regarding Ed's safety has got to be the cherry on top-
-->'''Eddy:''' (puts a helmet on Ed's head) Put this on. It'll protect your head. From what, I don't know.
** EVERYTHING Ed says in this episode.
--->'''Eddy:''' Ed, why's your helmet tied to your butt?\
'''Ed:''' For protection.\
'''Eddy:''' It's meant for your head!\
'''Ed:''' It's ''my'' butt.
** When searching for a good location:
--->'''Eddy:''' This is the perfect spot, huh, guys?\
'''Kevin:''' Hey, dorks! Get out of my backyard!\
'''Ed:''' Weird. [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Kevin already has a clubhouse here]].\
'''Eddy:''' Shut up, Ed!
** This line:
--->'''Ed:''' It's okay, Eddy. (''hugs him tightly as he [[HatesBeingTouched suddenly looks disgusted]]'') We're getting a tree.
** Also during their montage of looking for places for a treehouse, among their places include a mailbox and the dump. Then while at the dump, Ed is being swarmed by a bunch of seagulls who want his cream puff, so he chucks it at Eddy, it splatters on Edd and then the birds come after them!
** The RunningGag of Ed falling out of the tree and everything he's lifted back up, he carries a piece of land with him. It's eventually resolved by him being ''tied'' to a tree limb as he continues to paint.
** The fact that the normally inept at sports Double-D manages to sidestep every single water balloon that the Kanker Sisters chucks at him.
** After Ed and Double D find Eddy in a thorn bush after their failed fight against the Kankers, this happens as Ed tries to "revive" him:
--->'''Ed:''' Eddy, stop being unconscious now! (''Ed now forcefully slaps him as a StockScream of "Mama!" and other {{sound defect}}s are heard. Eddy is soon revived, but...'')\
'''Eddy:''' Ed! I'M AWAKE!!\
(''Ed continues to smack him'')
* From "Read All About Ed":
** Ed jumping into the newspaper launcher, and getting rolled up just like a newspaper.
** When the newspaper machine goes berserk, Ed warns Kevin to lookout. He gets hit by a newspaper so hard, it knocks him into the sky. [[FreezeFrameBonus Slowing down the footage]] shows Kevin give a hilarious "OhCrap" face.
--->'''Ed:''' Nice shot!
** [[CueTheRain The rain starting and stopping]] every time Edd says "Summer rains, [[TemptingFate you can never predict 'em!]]" Eddy even tries shouting at him to stop.
** At the end, as the Eds get buried under a mountain of undelivered newspapers, Ed reads his horoscope.
--->'''Ed:''' "New enterprise fails to meet expectations..." [[ComicallyMissingThePoint What does that mean?]]
* The bit in "Quick Shot Ed" where Rolf fell into his own sausage machine and got turned into a giant hot dog, which prompts him to freak out.
--> '''Rolf:''' I am a wiener!\
'''Ed:''' [[CaptainObvious You are Rolf!]]
** What's funnier is that this could be Ed's attempt at [[DeadpanSnarker a joke beforehand]]:
---> '''Edd:''' Some animals resort to cannibalism during drought or famine.\
'''Ed:''' I'm famined!\
'''Eddy:''' You're drought!
** The Eds believing they had escaped Victor:
--->'''Ed:''' Boy, that was close.\
'''Eddy:''' Let's go take some more pho-''(Victor rams through the door and sends the Eds flying)'' '''[[SuddenlyShouting -TOOOOOOS!]]'''
** Taking a picture of the Kanker Sisters results in two hilarious lines, almost in a row.
--->'''May:''' WE'RE BEING ABDUCTED!\
'''Lee:''' No, we're not! It's ''Eddy.''\
'''Eddy:''' [[OhCrap Run, boys.]]
** Jonny reading to Plank:
--->'''Jonny:''' "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a-" *gasp!* Oh, my!
** Ed losing Edd and Eddy and going around the telephone pole while a busy signal plays.
** Jimmy wants to be just like his soldier action figure when he grows up.
** While Edd and Eddy watch Nazz do jazzercise, Ed's more interested in watching her TV.
** During the chase scene, the Eds and Kevin go through Jonny's house while he's taking a bath. The Eds go back just to take a picture before resuming the chase.
--->'''Jonny:''' Think they saw anything, Plank?
** The last shot of the episode has the Eds covering the results of the Kankers' MakeoverTorment with [[BrownBagMask paper bags]] with their respective faces drawn on them.
* The various hiding places seen throughout "Ed-n-Seek" and how the Eds drag home base with them on a wagon.
** When trying to lure the kids out from hiding Ed shouts out "Plank, your mom is calling!" while pointing to home base (a tree). Plank actually pokes his head out from the bush he and Jonny are hiding in!
** When their first hiding spot is destroyed due to them goofing around, Eddy tries to find them a new hiding spot. He tries a garbage container, only to choose not to use it due to the smell, but before he leaves the Kankers randomly pop out from the container with no explanation for being there!
--->'''Eddy:''' I didn't know you were playing!\
'''Lee:''' ''(flirtingly)'' Who's playing?\
''(The Kankers all pucker up and make kissy faces at Eddy)''\
'''Eddy:''' AHHHH! ''(runs away and lets the lid slam on the Kankers' lips, swelling them to giant size)''
* In "Tag Yer Ed" when Edd pours milk in Eddy's bowl of Chunky Puffs:
-->'''Eddy:''' I love Chunky Puffs!\
''(slab of expired milk falls out of the carton into the bowl)''\
'''Eddy:''' I ''hate'' chunky milk.
** At one point, Jonny and Plank are eating ice cream. Eddy swaps Plank for a log, also with a face painted on.
--->'''Jonny:''' Oh, Plank, you've certainly let yourself go! No more sweets for you!
** Eddy tries to "toughen up" Edd by making him dress like a wrestler and fight Plank. Edd only comes out of his "changing room" (a portable toilet) because it smells funny. Then he proceeds to get his butt kicked by an inanimate object, mostly thanks to his fear of getting splinters.
** The Kankers want to fight their "boyfriends":
--->'''Lee:''' Ha! I say we wrestle you! May and Marie are great at purple nurples!\
'''Eddy:''' YOU'RE ON, KANKERS!\
'''Ed:''' What's a purple nurple?\
'''Edd:''' I think it has something to do with, um, strudel filling.\
'''Ed:''' Cool!
** The very fact that Ed ''could'' get rid of the Kanker Sisters at any time, if he weren't bound by one rule:
--->'''Eddy:''' Give 'em the burrhead bump, Ed!\
'''Ed:''' (''walks over with all three Kankers grabbing on to him, trying to beat him up'') I can't, Eddy! [[WouldntHitAGirl My mom says I can't fight girls]].
** Eddy's beating by the Kankers includes getting [[AccordionMan played like an accordion]] and flipped on a pan like a pancake.
* The various pranks in "Fool-On-The-Ed"; a mysterious prankster known as the Prank Master is spreading havoc across the Cul-De-Sac (though it eventually turns out the other kids simply faked getting pranked so the Eds would spiral into paranoia and make fools of themselves as payback for Eddy's pranks). This includes Rolf being stuffed into a barrel with a bucket on his head, Kevin getting crushed by a giant fly swatter, and Jimmy getting so scared by a fake present containing a giant balloon with a creepy clown face on it that he literally jumps out of his shoes.
** The Eds retaliate by building a gigantic, propelled StinkBomb (a design given to Eddy by his big brother). Unfortunately, it's ''too'' big to go through the garage door, and as the Eds try to dislodge it, it goes off, infecting the entire cul-de-sac. Everyone hates the smell... except, of course, [[ThePigPen Ed]], who says, "Something smells good." Fitting, considering that one of the main ingredients of the stink bomb was one of Ed's socks.
* In "A Boy And His Ed", Edd is teaching Ed and Eddy about Kevin while they plan to get jawbreakers from him. At one point, Ed and Eddy shoot spitballs at the Kevin dummy Edd made.
-->'''Eddy:''' Not bad, huh, burr-head?\
'''Ed:''' Graah.\
(''Ed puts a book in his mouth, chews it up, and tries to spit it out through the straw, but it backs up'')\
'''Ed:''' Oh, no! My brain came out!\
'''Eddy:''' That's too big to be your brain!
** Also, this:
--->'''Edd''': What's the first thing you notice about Kevin here?\
'''Eddy''': His chin is almost as big as yours?\
'''Edd''': (''quickly pulls his shirt collar up over his chin'') No, I was talking about, um...\
'''Eddy''': [[HypocriticalHumor Those three stupid hairs on his head?]]
** Ed randomly offering to help break into Kevin's garage.
--->'''Ed:''' If only I had brought [[TechnoBabble my anti-gravity de-spackletizer to re-pixel the hot and cold tumbler on that lock]].\
'''Edd:''' ...Earth to Ed?
** Earlier, as they were preparing their drawbridge scam, Eddy decides to "borrow" some water from a nearby pool... which Sarah & Jimmy are playing in. Immediately guessing who is responsible, Sarah [[SkywardScream shouts]] [[SayMyName "ED!!"]]
--->'''Ed:''' That sounded like Sarah...
--->'''Eddy:''' ''[nonplussed]'' Nah, just a truck backfiring.
** In the Swedish dub, Eddy says it's [[ThatPoorCat a cat getting run over.]]
** There's also the fact that the inflatable pool the Ed's drained barely contained enough water to make the bottom of their moat wet, but still fills the whole thing up, [[RuleOfFunny which of course does not matter as far as the joke is concerned]]. Also, [[NakedPeopleAreFunny Jimmy loses his trunks to the hose the Eds used to drain the pool]], only to show up later with an inflatable duck covering his lower body.
* From "It's Way Ed":
** Eddy [[RingRingCrunch smashing his alarm clock]] and throwing it into a pile of other destroyed alarm clocks. His alarm clock's car alarm sounds make the whole thing understandable.
** The "electric shock" sound effect as Edd opens the blinds and the light reflects off of Eddy's disco ball.
** Edd explaining what a fad is:
--->'''Edd''': When something insignificant becomes popular.\
'''Eddy:''' And the Eds are ''way'' insignificant.
** The fads shown in this episode includes stilts, the Whizz-Whazz Balls, attachable bug wings, sunglasses, the exact same fad the Ed's tried to get everyone onboard with, only for it to be replaced by a "spinning rings and stick" toy when the Ed's try to reclaim it. Hell, Jonny doesn't even have the stick part, he just spins the rings with Plank.
** As Sarah blows a raspberry at the Eds, she accidentally hits Jimmy in the face with her Whizz-Whazz ball.
** One of the first things Eddy tries as a fad is to put a TV cathode tube in his mouth. Edd adjusts Eddy's hairs like an antenna until an image appears on the screen... ''Fish Bowl 2''.
--->'''Ed:''' Aw, it's a rerun.
** After Edd gets thrown into a tree by Ed, he pulls a branch out of his hat. With a birdhouse still attached to it.
* From "Laugh, Ed, Laugh":
** Eddy using Ed as a shovel while Ed gleefully chants "Dig a hole, dig a hole, dig a hole..."
** Ed's explanation for where the other kids went to, coupled with the dramatic theremin music that suddenly starts playing.
--->'''Ed:''' It is simple, Eddy. ''(pauses to think of an explanation)'' The kids entered a wormhole and were spewed into an alternate universe! ''(Eddy and Double D stare at him)'' Simple.\
'''Eddy:''' ''You're'' simple.
** Double D locks Eddy in a shed, and tells Ed to hide the key "discretely." Ed promptly places the key between two slices of bread and begins chewing on it. Then Eddy gets back to normal and finds they're locked in the shed:
--->'''Eddy:''' Where's the stupid key?\
'''Ed:''' (happily) I ate it! ''Discretely.''
** Eddy's SanitySlippage is depicted through the truly bizarre visual metaphor of popping popcorn bursting out of his brain.
** "Jonny, you dropped your face. I'll get you a new one!"
** "HAM AND EGGS WITH BUTTERED TOAST!!!" ''(bites off a piece of fence)''
** "AMBUSH!!!!"
** Eddy tries to impress someone without going crazy.
--->'''Eddy:''' Guys, wait!! Um.... (''wraps tongue around his head like a turban'')\
'''Ed:''' Aw, c'mon, Eddy, we've seen that before! Now you're boring us!
** Ed eating the "ice cream cones" they were making as part of that day's scam, which were really just tennis balls coated in paint. When Double D tries to stop him, Ed pushes him back, telling him to get his own.
** ''Everything'' involving Eddy after his SanitySlippage. Some other highlights include using a shell game to con squirrels out of their nuts and mistaking a fire hydrant for a jawbreaker.
** What finally gets Eddy to snap out of his madness is discovering that the pile of money is just counterfeits bearing Ed's likeness.
--->'''Ed:''' Eddy's mad...\
'''Edd:''' Correct! He's back to normal.
* Ed's ExtremeOmnivore BigEater sleepwalking habit in "A Glass of Warm Ed"
-->'''Edd''': Ed, do you know you walk in your sleep? And that you've consumed all the food within a five-block radius of your bed?
-->'''Ed''': Not only that, but I feel as though I consumed all the food within a five-block radius of my bed. (''notices Edd's cactus Jim with a bite taken out of it'') Oh, Jim got a haircut!
** The thing that seems to freak Edd out the most is not that he has a home invader or a fridge-raider, but that the pajama-clad intruder is in bare feet, which he finds "so unsanitary". [[BrickJoke Keep in mind Edd will be subjected to bare-footed footsies with Marie later on...]]
** This BrickJoke:
--->'''Edd:''' ''(holding out Jim the cactus)'' Don't make me use this!\
'''Ed:''' ''(bites off the top of Jim)''\
'''Edd:''' You ate [[CompanionCube Jim!]] Ed, cacti have feelings just like you-\
''Later''\
'''Ed:''' Oh, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Jim got a haircut.]]
** Ed sleepwalking still tied to his bed.
* From "Flea Bitten Ed":
** Ed's massive allergic reaction to the bunnies, which involves breaking out in a purple rash and bloating like a balloon.
---> '''Ed''': (''gasp'') ''"I AM MUTATING!!"''
** Ed tries to suppress a sneeze by plugging his nose. This causes his [[EyeScream eyes to inflate]].
--->'''Edd''': Eddy, Ed's been showing strange symptoms. I'm concerned.\
'''Eddy''': (''nonchalantly'') I've been concerned about Ed since the first day I met him.
*** What makes this episode hilarious is not just what happens in it, but how Ed responds to his body inflating. While someone would naturally be terrified, he takes it with ActuallyPrettyFunny, and it is treated in a comical manner.
** Eddy is dragged along by Ed and runs into Edd, the resulting collision carries them out of the garage.
--->'''Ed''': Look at me! I am a pigeon. A big pigeon.\
'''Eddy''': [''clutching the shoelace with Edd''] Don't lay an egg, birdbrain!\
(Edd and Eddy then bump against the ground two times. On the second touchdown, they furiously try to drag him back and make some headway.)\
'''Ed''': I am a swan! A pretty swan.\
'''Eddy''': We gotta figure out what's wrong with Bloat Boy.
** This little exchange during Double-D's examination of Ed:
--->'''Edd:''' Flashlight please.\
'''Eddy:''' Oh, yeah, flashlight. (Pulls out a flashlight and hands it to Edd) Flashlight!\
'''Edd:''' Thank you, nurse.\
'''Eddy:''' Nurse?\
'''Ed:''' Nurse Eddy? (Laughs)\
(''Edd puts the flashlight inside of Ed's open mouth'')\
'''Edd:''' Close please. Lights please, nurse.\
(''A very annoyed Eddy turns off the lights'')\
[Later]\
'''Edd:''' Eddy, could you please fill the Talcum Powder dispenser?\
'''Eddy:''' Yeah, yeah. ''[under his breath]'' [[BrickJoke But you better not call me nurse...]]
** Ed hammers a sign but Eddy points out a major flaw:
---> '''Eddy''': Ed! You put the sign on upside-down!\
'''Ed''': No Eddy, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint I put the sign]] [[LiteralMinded ON the garage]]!\
'''Eddy''': Just flip it over, Ed.\
'''Ed''': [[ExactWords Flip it]]? Got it!
*** Unfortunately, Ed doesn't realize he means to flip the sign over so he ''picks up the garage'' and flips that over instead.
** The Eds looking at Rolf's chickens.
---> '''Eddy''': Rolf's got tons of stinky animals.\
'''Edd''': They're absolutely filthy!\
'''Ed''': Yes, I am!
** Mr. and Mrs. Bunny [[UnusualEuphemism practiced the multiplication tables]] so much, that they make for [[LiteralMetaphor literal]] {{Explosive Breeder}}s by blowing up the garage.
--->'''Jonny:''' Plank! [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight I told you bunnies would take over the world, and they have!]]\
(''Jonny and Plank then get carried off by a wave with bunnies'')\
'''Jonny:''' [[DissonantSerenity Lucky we]] [[CrazyPrepared prepared for this day, huh, Plank?]]
** It might be subtle but the rapid-fire oink sound when Eddy is polishing the pig with the buffer is kinda giggle-inducing.
** The episode ends with the Eds watching TV on the roof because the entire neighborhood is buried under a blanket of bunnies.
---> '''Eddy''': (''while the kids cry for help'') HEY! [[BigShutUp SHUT YOUR YAPS!]] [[SkewedPriorities WE'RE TRYING TO WATCH TV HERE!]] [[ItsAllAboutMe Some people are so inconsiderate!]]
* Everything from "Who, What, Where, Ed", in which the Eds are forced to [[ChainOfDeals make a bunch of trades]] just to get an egg. Which Ed ends up breaking while trying to "free the chicken" inside.
-->'''Ed''': I think the chicken's gone bad.\
'''Eddy''': [[ShaggyDogStory Like my luck...]]
** Jonny had clams that the boys needed, in which he gives this line.
--->'''Jonny:''' Listen to the clams gurgle in the bucket, Plank.
** Before that,
--->'''Eddy:''' Clams?! What's with clams? (''rings a doorbell'') Could you spare some clams?\
'''Edd:''' (''ringing another doorbell'') Pardon me; you wouldn't happen to have any clams, would you?\
'''Eddy:''' (''at another house'') Say, you haven't seen any clams around here, have you?\
'''Edd:''' (''at yet another house'') Could we borrow a cup of...clams?\
'''Ed:''' (''at final house'') Can Eddy come out and play?\
'''Eddy:''' I'm right beside you, Ed.\
'''Ed:''' Hi, Eddy!
** Jonny wanted an anchor. Of all places, the Eds think to go to the Kankers' trailer, disguised as a really tall man with a mustache and a pimp hat. (Actually just [[TotemPoleTrench the Eds on each other's shoulders covered in a trench coat, with Eddy on top]].)
--->'''Eddy:''' Greetings, ladies. Um, we're doing a survey, and-\
'''Edd:''' (''from underneath the coat'') Eddy!\
'''Eddy:''' Oh, uh, ahem (''makes voice deeper'') I mean, I'm doing a survey, and-\
'''Lee:''' Our mom's not home!\
'''Marie:''' Yeah, so take a hike! (''Kankers laugh like hyenas'')\
'''Eddy:''' I was wondering: How many anchors do you own? (''big nervous grin'')\
'''May:''' That's stupid!\
'''Lee:''' You look familiar, mister!\
(''Lee's interjection caused Ed to walk back and laugh'')\
'''Eddy:''' (''grunts'') Stop it, will ya?\
'''May:''' You've been on an infomercial?\
'''Eddy:''' Um, no-yes! Quite famous, actually. Want my autograph?\
'''Ed:''' (''pops out of costume'') I'm the legs!\
'''Edd:''' (''costume is ruined'') Oh my, exposed!\
'''Marie:''' It's our boyfriends!!\
'''Lee:''' (''dreamily'') Eddy's such a weasel...\
'''Marie:''' Group hug! (''lips turn giant as she puckers up'')\
'''May:''' Let's kiss 'em!\
'''Ed:''' Oh no, not me!! (''runs off, while the Kankers all land, while trying to kiss their boyfriends, on their airbag lips'')
* In "Keeping Up With the Eds", Ed mowing Double-D's lawn. "ATTACK THE WIBBLES!"
-->'''Eddy:''' And you don't even have to clean up after him.
** When they use fertilizer all over the Cul-de-sac lawns, at first there's nothing... but then the Eds scream as all the lawn grass spontaneously grows 20 feet tall and pushes them up top.
*** Afterwards, Jimmy lets out a shriek of terror.
---->'''Edd:''' Sounds like the cats are fighting.\
'''Eddy:''' Nah, that's Jimmy.\
(''Sarah screams'')\
'''Eddy:''' And that's Sarah.
** The Ed's renting Victor the goat from Rolf to help get the grass down, and Rolf mentions that "goat rental" is one of the major income sources for his home country. On top of that, it comes with a ridiculous pile of paperwork, and Victor won't budge out of his spot without Rolf's say-so.
---> '''Double D''': (''after Victor has sped off with a screaming Eddy riding him'') Strong union!
** When Eddy brings a big bag of manure to fertilize the grass, Edd is concerned.
--->'''Edd:''' [[SesquipedalianLoquaciousness But...we're constrained by the intimacy of our situation.]]\
'''Eddy:''' ...[[CallingMeALogarithm And you kiss your mother with that mouth?]]
* The entirety of "Eds-aggerate", especially the part with Ed interrupting [[NoRespectGuy Edd]] yet again by showing that he has a bone in ''his ear canal''.
-->'''[[CloudCuckoolander Ed]]:''' I found a bone! Cool, huh?
** The Eds pretending to be the Mucky Boys that Eddy has spent the whole episode lying about. This mostly consists of covering themselves with mud and yelling incoherently. Everyone except Sarah still falls for it.
** This bit of dialogue:
--->'''Eddy:''' We, the Eds, are smarter than-\
'''Ed:''' Onions?\
'''Eddy:''' Um, no, Ed.\
'''Ed:''' Buttered Toast?\
'''Edd:''' Oh, boy...\
'''Ed:''' ''A bus driver??''
** When the kids begin searching for the Mucky Boys, the Eds follow to see what they'll do.
--->'''Edd''': Eddy, wouldn't it be easier if we just-\
'''Ed''': Make funny noises?\
'''Eddy''': Ed! You've found a brain! Heh. Mucky Boys make loud, funny noises!
** Edd as a Mucky Boy.
--->'''Ed:''' Be scary, Double D!\
'''Edd:''' ''([[NightmareRetardant growls lightly while looking moderately annoyed]])''\
'''Eddy:''' [[SarcasmMode Oh, I'm petrified.]]
** "YOU HAVE GOT THE ''BIGGEST MOUTH!!''"
* "Oath to an Ed" is eleven minutes of concentrated EpicFail as the Eds have trouble completing the simplest of tasks, from microwaving a burrito to changing a toilet paper roll to ''lying in a freaking hammock.'' Just watching all the spectacular ways they manage to screw everything up is comedy gold.
** Ed comparing the pruning shears to a movie monster.
--->'''Ed:''' It looks like the head of the monster from ''I Was a Teenage Appetizer from Planet Sushi: The Second Coming''.\
'''Rolf:''' ''({{beat}})'' No shears for you, potato-Ed Boy!
** Eddy and Edd doing the proper Urban Rangers gesture, while Ed holds his finger under his nose. Perhaps one of the most iconic moments for the trio, and plenty of promotional pictures use this image.
** '''Rolf:''' [[WhatTheHellHero Have you roaches been drinking milk from a rusty bucket?!]]
** The episode begins with the Eds wearing their new clothes, which are heavily starched, looking like they're made of balsa wood. They can barely move in them, looking like walking planks. Oh, and Ed never bothered to take his clothes out of the hanger before putting them on.
** The final hilarious kick to the gut comes at the very end, where it's revealed that even ''[[CompanionCube Plank]]'' managed to get some badges. That's right: ''the Eds were outdone by an inanimate wooden board.''
* [[DoomyDoomsOfDoom The Unicycle of Doom]] from "Button yer Ed".
** Ed breaking the screen door.
--->'''Edd:''' Ed! The screen door!\
'''Ed:''' Let's watch it!
** When Ed pulls out one of the now-voiceless Eddy's hairs, Eddy gives a cry of pain that sounds like a squeaky toy deflating.
** Rolf inviting the Eds to have lunch with him.
--->'''Ed''': ''(poking an octopus)'' I saw this movie!\
'''Rolf''': Movie bad! Food is good.
*** Attempting to spoon feed Eddy:
---->'''Ed:''' Eat your stinky sausage, Eddy! ''[shoves spoon in his mouth]'' Chew it all up, or no octopus for you!
** Ed: "Eddy needs to water... the Christmas tree because it's dry!" Cue baffled looks from Eddy and Edd.
** When Eddy opens his mouth to try to talk, a moo comes from Rolf's cow. Eddy hastily covers his mouth as though he'd mooed.
* Eddy makes Edd play the pedal steel guitar on their boat ride scam in "Avast, Ye Eds". Edd clearly hates playing it, calling the instrument "so annoying". We are led to believe that he is going to be awful at it, given he hates playing it...and proceeds to play an extremely skilled solo on it, all with an incredibly bored expression on his face. Edd is so good at playing it that he can play it with his ''feet'', ''while reading a book'', to the amazement of the others.
** Also, as a FunnyBackgroundEvent, Ed leaning down to listen to Edd playing his music causes the hat on his head to fall onto Jonny's head.
** The ending scene, where the Eds make it back to land after suffering through the Kankers' attention.
---> '''Edd''': I was kind of hoping my first kiss would be...enjoyable.\
'''Eddy''': Alas, the sea is a cruel mistress...\
'''Ed''': I'm stumped! (''the camera pans out and reveals water just pouring out of Ed's ears, drenching both Edd and Eddy'')\
'''Jimmy''': (''floating by in the stream in the background'') Hair emergency! Hair emergency!
** Why did the Ed's even run their "luxury cruise" scam in this episode? Because their original plan, revolving around charging for the use of a giant tire swing, fell through when Ed knocked the swing off its branch and it fell in the stream, with Edd still in it. So, Eddy just converted the tire into a cruise liner.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season Two]]
* Eddy trying to use an old rusty pipe as a didgeridoo and failing in "Know-It-All Ed". Ed then tries and somehow [[BalloonBelly inflates Eddy like a balloon for a few seconds]].
-->'''Ed:''' I am a whale, Eddy, an endangered mammal! Hug me.
** Eddy claiming that the turkey basters are Canadian squirt guns.
--->'''Ed:''' ''([[HypocriticalHumor face covering in turkey basters]])'' Canadians are weird.
** The Ed's selling the "squirt guns" to the other kids with the scam of the day - Double-D's Import-Export! They're generous enough to throw in a "holster" with each purchase, with said holsters just being a bunch of socks.
** Who could forget about this moment with Double D using the Gatling Gun?
--->'''Edd:''': ''[[LaughingMad I FEEL THE ADRENALINE EDDY BABY!!]]''
--->'''Eddy''': ''DOUBLE-D!'' It's a ''toy!'' From Canada! Jeez, how embarassing. *walks off as Edd blushes*
** The Eds' showdown with the Kankers. Despite being heavily armed, all their shots fail to hit the sisters, leaving only a large puddle around them.
*** When it's the Kankers' turn, they just fire at the Eds' feet. Eddy makes fun of them for missing, only to realize that they had been shot with ''rubber cement'', leaving them stuck in place for the girls to kiss them.
** Earlier in the episode, Ed sticking basters on his face (including on one of his ''eyes''). "I'm a moose."
* The bit from "Dear Ed", where Ed falls down the stairs like a rag doll and Jonny remarks "[[StaircaseTumble Wow, Ed, you go down the stairs just like Plank!]]"
** The bit earlier in that episode with Ed reading the cue cards was even better.
---> '''Ed:''' [[ReadingTheStageDirectionsOutLoud Sit down and say "Hello, Jonny"]].\
'''Jonny:''' Hello?\
'''Ed:''' Ask him how... he is.\
'''Edd:''' "How are you", "How are you"!\
'''Ed:''' I'm fine. Well, okay, a little hungry.
** The episode begins with Edd playing with a metal detector. When he detects something, Eddy operates Ed like a steam shovel and digs up what he hopes is treasure. Instead, they accidentally pull down all the lamp posts in the Cul-de-Sac.
** [[http://ed.wikia.com/wiki/File:Vlcsnap-2017-02-26-10h34m48s651.png Ed's baby picture]]. 'Nuff said.
** "Eddy's my ideal pal. Soft and cuddly, like mashed potatoes. Yum." (Said while he's carrying Eddy, a steaming kettle sound playing in the background)
** Eddy introducing Jonny to Bob the traffic cone. Upon meeting, Jonny almost vomits, because Eddy forgot to give Bob a second eye.
** The Eds leave Jonny alone in Ed's room with an old boot they name "Salty Sam" only to hear crashing and Jonny screaming for help from the room. When they peek in, they find Jonny clinging to a pipe and screaming, "He's mad, I tell ya, ''mad!'' Not only is Ed's room a bigger mess than usual, but the boot is still in the same position as Eddy left it.
** "I'm the ice cream man!"
** "What lovely leaves you have! Oh, it's a wig. Sorry!"
** "Dancing with a vase. Boy, have I reached an all-time low."
* The Eds' attempt to get into Ed's house in "Knock Knock, Who's Ed?" using a TrojanHorse dolly.
-->'''Jimmy''': A talking dolly!\
'''Eddy''': Say something, stupid!\
'''Ed''': My head is snoring! Make it stop!\
'''Jimmy''': ''(scream)'' Sarah! [[CreepyDoll Boogeyman!]]
** When the Eds pop out of the doll, it's not inside the house, but ''atop a light post''.
--->'''Ed:''' My parents moved the house, Eddy!
** Ed's injuries after "crashing" in Kevin's yard (as in they dug it up and built a fake plane in the pit). What truly makes the scene though, is the melodramatic stock baby crying noise in the background, just to highlight the absolute bathos of the situation. All just so they could use Kevin's TV.
--->'''Ed''': Ow! My liver! Ow! [[ArtisticLicenseBiology My lasagna!]]\
'''Edd''': Ed! Lasagna isn't a major organ!\
'''Ed''': ''(genuinely confused)'' It isn't?
** Rolf's outdated, likely foreign TV set.
* "One Plus One Equals Ed." The whole episode; the Eds take a venture into learning about the mysteries of the world, before things start to slowly unravel.
** Before all the madness, there's Ed keeping Eddy up all night asking weird questions ("How can my feet smell if they don't have a nose?") and [[OverlyLongGag playing with the fridge door to try and figure out how the light works]]. ("Hello, light. Hello, light. Hello, light.")
--->'''Ed''': Eddy, when you close the fridge door, does the little light stay on?\
'''Eddy''': ''(at his wits' end)'' '''GO HOME!!!'''
** The Eds rummaging through Ed's garage:
--->'''Eddy:''' (slipping a bra out of a drawer) Woo-hoo, PG-13!\
'''Ed:''' Um...that's my mom's, Eddy!\
(Eddy drops the bra and gags)
** Ed taking apart a washing machine:
--->'''Ed:''' I took it apart, Double D! Am I smart now?\
'''Edd:''' [[DeadpanSnarker Let's not ask for miracles, Ed.]]
** Ed playing around with the spinner from a washing machine.
---> '''Ed''': What's this, Double D?\
'''Edd''': Spin it, Ed, and learn!\
'''Ed''' (''spins it, but his tongue is caught on the spinner and pulls his entire face around it'') It's a ''face scruncher!'' Cool!
** Rolf's tale of [[ShaggyFrogStory the ugly boy and the tree of heads]].
** Eddy stumbling around and accidentally finds himself ''behind'' the houses seen in the background like he walked behind a background prop.
---> '''Eddy''': Einstein's got nothing on this!
** Eddy ''[[ExtremeOmnivore eating the sun]]''.
---> '''Eddy''': I say we take a break, this learning stuff is making me hungry...\
''(Eddy's hand somehow goes behind the sun)''\
'''Eddy''': Didja' see that? Weird! Oh well, can't beat em', eat em!\
''(Proceeds to eat the sun like a potato chip, which turns into a crescent moon afterwards)''\
'''Eddy''': Not bad!\
'''Jimmy''': ''(Few blocks away, in the alleyway)'' Jumping Jehoshaphat, who turned out the sun?!
** Eddy stripping Jimmy of his outline before fashioning it into a hairdo, all as the now-liquid Jimmy slowly slips into a drain... and then into a pitcher.
---> '''Jimmy''': Fate has dealt a cruel hand. Darn it.
** "Don't look now, but there's a cow hovering just overhead..." And then said hovering cow [[SoundDefect makes a crowing noise, like a rooster.]]
** Eddy plucking Sarah's mouth clean off her face before she bites him on the ear.
--->'''Eddy:''' Get her off, Double D!\
'''Edd:''' (happily writing notes down) Not a chance! (''notices the ground coming up to cover the camera'') Hello? [[MediumAwareness An original scene transition, interesting...]]
** "A three-headed Rolf. [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight Yawn...]]"
** After it's revealed to be AllJustADream, an oblivious Ed finds Sarah and tries to take off her mouth again, stretching her face to almost screen length.
--->'''Rolf:''' Big Ed has lost his marbles?
** A punch is then heard from offscreen, with Ed slowly sliding into view through a trench he's scraping into the dirt:
--->"...[[CaptainObvious Sarah's mad]]."
* "Eeny Meeny Miney Ed":
** Eddy convinces Ed that Edd is a half-man, half-lizard created in an underground lab and that he has gills hidden under his trademark hat. Ed's response: [[NightmareFetishist "Must touch gills!"]]
** Edd discovers [[EmptyPilesOfClothing Eddy's discarded clothes]] (as part of a ruse to make Ed think Eddy had been turned into a human/insect hybrid), and complains "Why are Eddy's clothes lying on the floor? Is he running around naked [[OhNoNotAgain again]]?"
** Ed [[ItMakesSenseInContext believing himself to be the last human on Earth]].
--->'''Ed''': [[LastOfHisKind Am I the only human left?]] I am alone! [[SkewedPriorities I AM HUNGRY!]]\
'''Edd''': Ed, wait! I could make you a sandwich!
** When what the rest of the kids thought to be a giant cockroach turns out to be Eddy (stuffed into a bucket and skittering about on this fingers) after Rolf whacks the snot out of him with his shoe:
--->'''Nazz:''' Is that Eddy?\
'''Kevin:''' Hit him again!
** Followed by this:
---> '''Rolf:''' Those Ed boys are crazy! Are they from this planet?\
'''Kevin:''' Nope. They're from the Land of the Dorks.
* Ed admiring Edd's rocket from "Ready, Set... Ed!"
-->'''Ed''': Can we visit the planet of bacon men and [[BodyHorror have the marrow sucked from our bones?]]\
'''Edd''': (beat) It's just a prop, Ed.\
'''Ed''': It's too small.\
'''Edd''': Small? Please, Ed; [[InsistentTerminology It's compact]].
** Only for Edd to realize later on that [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight it is too small]].
** Earlier, Ed's wind-up toy [[TorsoWithAView eats through Eddy's stomach]].
--->'''Eddy:''' Ed! Your toy ate my breakfast!
** Ed has a literal garbage dump under his bed, complete with a flock of sea gulls. Which Ed has named.
--->'''Ed:''' [as the gulls fly out the window] Come back, Pelenope! Edmund! Nestor!
* The Eds trying to use a magnet at the beginning of "Hands Across Ed." Rolf believes it to be the Curse of the Sirens in the Hungry Tree. Ed messing with Kevin's boombox makes Rolf believe it's the sirens' song.
** Rather than pulling coins out of people's pockets, the magnet ends up pulling in everything ''except'' coins due to some flaw in the design.
** When the trio are found out, Rolf tries to angrily call them dorks. He fails spectacularly and costs him and Kevin their chance at retribution:
--->'''Rolf:''' Rolf is not amused, you...how you say...ducks?\
'''Kevin:''' Dorks!\
'''Rolf:''' Yes! That is what I said.\
'''Kevin:''' Nah, you said–\
'''Rolf:''' Ducks! See, ducks!\
'''Eddy:''' ''(nervous)'' Uh, Rolf! Kevin! Hate to interrupt, so– ''(The Eds take off)''\
'''Kevin:''' Get back here!
** And he ''still'' doesn't get the hang of it while they're chasing the Eds:
--->'''Rolf:''' I think I saw the ducks run here!\
'''Kevin:''' ''(stopping by the tire)'' Dorks, Rolf, dorks.\
'''Rolf:''' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Dorks do not quack, Kevin]].
* The part of "Floss Your Ed" where Eddy tries to get Ed's tooth out by painting a jawbreaker with Ed's name on a fence, in the hope that Ed will think it's real and break his tooth out trying to eat it. Ed falls for it, but Edd gets in the way, causing Ed to accidentally flatten him into a circle when he takes his mouth off the fence.
-->'''Edd:''' (flattened and mortified) I've been violated.
** Ed and Edd eating lunch.
--->'''Ed''': ''([[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext biting down on a]] [[ExtremeOmnivore brick]])'' Oww! Tooth!\
'''Edd''': Ed, you really must try to eat softer, um, food.\
'''Rolf''': Yes! Like butter, Ed boy!\
'''Edd''': ''Plain'' butter?\
'''Rolf''': Listen to me, Stuck-In-The-Rut Ed Boy. When churned by Rolf, it is better than good.\
'''Ed''': I'm sleepy.
** When they finally get that tooth out, it appears to have a little face with [[WingdingEyes X's for eyes]], implying that they "killed" the tooth.

'''Ed''': Service is my middle toe! CheckPlease\
'''Eddy''': You should've ate breakfast, Ed.
** Eddy reveals that Jimmy got a sewing machine for his birthday.
--->'''Jimmy:''' I'm so misunderstood. I wanted a pony!
** Eddy gets past Rolf by asking what the hairy beast eating the dip is. Rolf thinks it's his Nana.
** Ed uses a grappling hook to make a zipline to Jimmy's roof. Rather than slide across with the coat hanger he's been carrying around for half the episode, he instead slides across on his tongue, and ends up [[EpicFail smashing into]] [[ImpactSilhouette the wall.]]
** Double D sneaks into the party disguised as Nazz to analyze the refreshments at Jimmy's house. Eddy steals a piece of cake from Kevin, but he winds up [[AccidentalPervert sticking it down the real Nazz's pants]]. [[BewareTheNiceOnes Nazz socks Eddy in the eye]].
** Eddy tries to escape with Ed and Double D by throwing Double D's baking powder vapor barrier to the floor. It destroys Jimmy's house and covers everything in baking soda.
** When the other kids corner the Eds for ruining Jimmy's birthday party to close out the episode.
--->'''Ed''': Oh, cool! This reminds me of the movie ''Zombies from the Deep Freeze: A Cash Cow.'' This is the part where we'll be torn to pieces, stuffed into ice cube trays and frozen and used to cool their drinks.\
'''Double D''': [[ThisIsGonnaSuck Non-alcoholic, I hope!]]
* "Who Let the Ed In?" has the Eds deal with Ed's ImaginaryFriend Jib, who interferes with Eddy's plans. Edd suggests going to an expert: Jonny 2X4.
-->'''Edd:''' Ed has an imaginary friend. Can you help us?\
'''Jonny:''' Imaginary friend? What's that?\
'''Eddy:''' [standing next to Plank] C'mon, you know... an ''imaginary'' friend?\

'''Jonny:''' Shh! [listens to Plank] Plank says to build an invisible trap.\
'''Eddy:''' You heard the man, Double-D! Draw up the invisible plans.\
'''Edd:''' With invisible ink? [chuckle] This is becoming contagious.
** Surprisingly, the invisible trap works, and Eddy has "Jib" in a headlock. This results in Eddy [[NotSoImaginaryFriend getting beat up by Jib]]. The kids are treated to the sight of Eddy losing a battle against an imaginary foe.
** After Jib leaves, Eddy gets his revenge by hitting Ed with an invisible potato in an invisible slingshot.
* From "Home-Cooked Eds", these particular moments:

'''Lee:''' Shut up, May! ''(Literally flips May over, chair and all)''
** In the first scene of the episode, Eddy crashes Rolf's tractor into a house. Ed proceeds to criticize '''the way he crashed it.'''
--->'''Eddy:''' (holding the steering wheel) Wahoo! Demolition derby, boys! Pretty cool crash, huh, Ed?\
'''Ed:''' (matter-of-factly) I've seen better, Eddy.\
'''Eddy:''' [[FlatWhat What?]]\
'''Ed:''' (same tone) Look, the tractor is still intact, you could have done a lot more with the tree, and you hardly wrecked Kevin's fence. (takes the steering wheel from Eddy) And the steering wheel should be rammed over your head, like so! (easily rams it through his head)\

** During Eddy's plot to remove the Kankers from his lawn, Jimmy, while wearing goggles and clutching onto his tricycle's handles, comes blowing along with the debris out of nowhere.
--->'''Jimmy:''' My thighs! They're burning!
** Rather than help Eddy and Edd push the trailer onto Kevin's lawn, Ed just informs them "one plus one equals one on a bun."
** The RunningGag of other characters doing things Ed would do, and him commenting that it's something he wanted to do.
*** It then gets turned on its head when Eddy, after getting rid of the Kankers (momentarily), starts scrubbing the furniture they were lounging on, muttering "Filthy, filthy, filthy".
---->'''Ed:''' That's something I would expect from Double D, Eddy.\
'''Eddy:''' Don't remind me.

** May having to use a ''spatula'' to pry her sticky sandals off when her feet are killing her.
* "Rambling Ed":
** The beginning when Ed plays the role of the ghost in Eddy's seance scam:
--->'''Ed:''' I am a little teapot, short and stout! This is my handle, this is my spout!
** The scene where Eddy convinces Ed to move out by asking him of he does and forcibly moves Ed's lips and imitates him to get a fake answer. Ed then proceeds to do the same thing with Eddy as the puppet.
--->'''Eddy:''' ''(as Ed)'' I like it, Eddy. I have one eyebrow and the brain of a bug.\

** Edd and Eddy ''[[HoYay sharing a bed]]''. When Rolf comes in and witnesses the awkward scene, Eddy snaps at Rolf to turn off the light.
* In "To Sir with Ed":
-->'''Eddy:''' My brother told me that chicks are only wowed by one thing: '''cash!'''\
'''Edd:''' That's '''so''' superficial, Eddy! Females admire more meaningful things. Like sincerity, respect, and good grooming.\

--->'''Ed''': A is for "helping," which comes from a tree!\
'''Eddy''': [[OhCrap Oh, no...]]\
'''Ed''': B is for "lifting" Edd and Eddy!
* In "Key to My Ed", Eddy is trying to figure out what a key they found opens. Edd starts to drone romantically about what it could possibly open until Eddy tries to pry open a manhole cover, and the key flings away and ends up stuck in Edd's gap. Edd regards this as a [[ComicalOverreacting rant-inducing slight]], and [[MoodWhiplash immediately flings himself into]] [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech a cynical soliloquy about what he sees as Eddy's view of the world at large, and this situation in particular]].

'''Eddy:''' [[BigShutUp SHUT UP, DOUBLE D]]! Ed, you understand anything Double D said?\

--->'''Edd:''' [[DeadpanSnarker I think Ed's on to something. Don't you, Eddy]]?
** The entire opening: Edd creates an experimental extra-fizzy soda, only for Ed [[BigEater to drink it all]]. Edd begs Ed to hold still, as the soda hasn't been tested yet; of course, [[TheGadfly Eddy starts tickling Ed]], causing Ed to blast off like a rocket as soda ''pours out his nose''.
--->'''Ed''': Gassy!

'''Ed''': A kazoo?\
'''Rolf''': No, the accordion.
** Ed standing on his head, moving around with his ''eyebrow''.
** The Kankers being disgusted by Jonny, thinking he's some sort of weird, big-headed creature.
** The first thing Eddy tries the key on.
--->'''Jimmy''': I hope this sand doesn't get in my loafers. ''(grabbed by Eddy)'' Ahh! Honest, mister, I'm just a kid! I'm broke!\
'''Eddy''': ''(using the key on the back of Jimmy's retainer)'' Hold still, squirt, I need to see something.\

'''Edd''': For Pete's sake, Eddy, Jimmy's retainer?\
'''Jimmy''': ''(retainer wrapped fully around his head)'' Too tight! Too tight! Sarah!
** Eddy's plan to send ransom notes to the kids in order to find out who owns the key backfires in the most ridiculous way possible: they all are missing something important to them and once the notes reach them, they all suspect and turn on each other.
--->'''Edd:''' Well, Eddy, it looks like your key did open one thing: the paranoia and hostility festering beneath the surface of our formerly calm cul-de-sac.\
'''Eddy:''' Do you ''ever'' turn off?\
'''Edd:''' It's a curse, I'm afraid.
** When Eddy stuffs the key in Ed's mouth to hide it from the Kankers, Lee tries to make Ed spit it out. The first thing to come out? a ''[[KitchenSinkIncluded kitchen sink]]''.
-->'''Lee Kanker:''' This guy's got a big appetite.
** The Eds attempt to escape from the Kankers, only to be stymied by a locked door. Ed attempts to reach for the key, but it seemed to have fallen out of his pocket from a hole. It didn't take long for Eddy to connect the dots.
--->'''Eddy:''' ED! YOU IDIOT! THIS IS ''YOUR'' KEY!
** The Kankers's plans for the Eds after capturing them, putting their bare feet in a three-man stockade, then getting barefoot themselves and playing a non-consensual game of footsie. Edd and Eddy freak out, but Ed seems to enjoy it.
--->'''Ed''': Clammy.
* "Urban Ed" starts with the Eds making Jonny play a game with ridiculous challenges like shooting a banana at a bullseye, shooting peas at balloons tied to Ed ([[{{Balloonacy}} and holding him aloft]]) and feeding marshmallows to Edd through a tuba. The last challenge: put all his money in a jar. Not even Jonny is ''that'' gullible.
** One of the big city experiences emulated by the Eds for "Ed-tropolis" is [[BirdPoopGag pigeons pooping on people]], which Eddy simulates by cooing and tossing spoonfuls of yogurt at Nazz. Ed helps... in his own inimitable way.
--->'''Ed:''' Oink!\
'''Eddy:''' Pigeons don't go "oink", Ed.\
'''Ed:''' I'm a gazelle. Oink!
*** And then Ed tries to drop something on Nazz... [[AnvilOnHead an anvil]].
---->'''Eddy:''' Ed, you're gonna hurt somebody! [[ThisIsReality This ain't a cartoon!]]
* As the kids start breaking all the rules in "Stop, Look, and Ed", Jonny is seen ''streaking'' with Plank strategically placed over his privates.

*** In the Swedish dub, Ed's voice actor sounds like he's trying his hardest not to [[{{Corpsing}} laugh.]]
** Leading up to that moment, we've got Ed all eager about touching the grass.
--->'''Ed:''' I'm smarter than a sign!!! *Lifts up grass and crawls underneath it*\
'''Ed:''' *Pops out of grass* BOING!\
'''Edd:''' Well, I suppose that Ed's [[LoopholeAbuse not technically]] ''[[LoopholeAbuse on]]'' [[LoopholeAbuse the grass]]...
** The very beginning, when after Ed causes the boys' jawbreaker-detecting satellite to take off prematurely:
--->'''Eddy:''' Just once I'd like something to go right. *satellite hits him from his right, stretching him out* Hello! *satellite lets go, he collapses*\
'''Eddy:''' *dazed, following after Ed and Edd as they chase after the satellite* [[NonSequiturThud Wait up! That's my waffle!]]
** The satellite then hits Jimmy, who can't hold on due to his manicured nails, and he falls off yelling pitifully.
--->'''Jimmy:''' Of all the darn luck! Space Junk Attack!
** Eddy ties Edd's hat to the ceiling fan to restrain him. It comes off, and while [[TheUnreveal the audience doesn't see what's under it]], Eddy and Ed's reactions speak volumes.
--->'''Eddy:''' Geez, Louise!\
'''Ed:''' Cool!
** And when the Eds are locked up at the end:
--->'''Eddy:''' "Help!"\
'''Edd:''' "Please, assist!"\
'''Ed:''' "Ketchup!"
*** "...Just a squirt?!"
* Jimmy screaming in "Honor Thy Ed" prompts two different kinds of responses from the Eds.
-->'''Edd''': Oh, dear! A shriek of terror!\
'''Ed''': [[CrossesTheLineTwice Dad's home!]]
** The Eds end up ingesting Eddy's brother's BlazingInfernoHellfireSauce, with varying results: Edd's face turns red and steam shoots out his ears, Ed's head is already black and shriveled like a burnt match, which he doesn't even notice ("''Hi, Eddy!''"), and Eddy's three hairs burn away like sparklers before exploding into a gigantic fireball. Ironically, Edd has the tamest reaction despite guzzling the stuff [[ItMakesSenseInContext (he was getting the taste of crayon out of his mouth)]], while Eddy only tasted ''a drop''.
** They then try to get water from a sprinkler, only to flop back and forth on it.
** Eddy scaring Edd:
--->'''Eddy:''' (ominous voice) Double D, let me poke your brain! ''[EvilLaugh]''
** When Eddy flicks a spider off the front doorknob, causing the doorknob to fall off and into a hole in the floor:
--->'''Edd:''' Tell me that didn't happen!\
'''Ed:''' (leaning in from the right side of the screen) [[LiteralMinded It didn't happen]].\

'''Edd:''' You're scaring me more than usual, Ed! PLEASE PULL EDDY LOOSE SO WE CAN LEAVE!\
'''Eddy:''' Careful, Ed, I bruise like a banana.
* "Scrambled Ed":
** A yawn from Edd brings a confluence of yawns from the other Eds.
** Everyone in the cul-de-sac tries to get Edd's advice on things, him being the token genius and all. Unfortunately, he's too sleepy to be of any real help and ends up murmuring random phrases that the kids take as actual advice.
** '''SUPPLIES!!!'''
** Any of Edd's sleep-deprived rants. "Use hot wax for more manageable follicles..."
** When Jonny approaches a sleeping Edd, telling him Plank has a growth on him, Edd, barely awake, starts laughing hysterically, then curls up on Jonny's head and lets out another laugh.
** After this barely lucid advice, Rolf comes in to interrupt the other kids' LoverTugOfWar with poor Edd:
--->'''Rolf:''' [[ItMakesSenseInContext Never use hot wax to soothe enraged lobsters!]] Thank you.
** After the neighborhood gets flooded, Rolf and Jonny end up on a raft with Rolf's animals. Instead of [[EatTheDog eating any of his animals]], Rolf [[MeatOVision sees Jonny's head as a roast turkey]].
--->'''Rolf:''' If we do not find dry land soon, I will be forced to feast upon your succulent noggin!\
'''Jonny:''' O-kay...
** "Rolf's premature facial hair burdens him."
* In "Rent-A-Ed", the trio try to pass as repairmen. After Ed makes a complete mess of Jonny's sink and causes Edd to freak out, Eddy suggests using Ed to repair the damage done. But before that, he delivers this delightful line through his clenched teeth.
--> "It's under control. Relax. We've got the [[StealthPun ultimate tool.]]"
** Eddy introduces the repair service with a poem.
--->'''Eddy:''' No joke when it's broke\

Let Ed's Quick-Repair fix it\
And you won't sue!\
'''Edd:''' You should have hired someone to fix [[PainfulRhyme that rhyme]], Eddy. Yeesh!
** The Eds acts in the circus.

'''Ed''': [[Film/SongOfTheSouth Zip-a-dee-doo-da!]] ''[spins around and falls down]''\
'''Edd:''' Um... knit-one, pearl-two? ''[does jumping jacks]''\
'''Rolf:''' Why is Double D Ed Boy calling the Chestnut Elves?
** After "repairing" Jonny's kitchen sink, Ed tears a radiator out of the wall, asking if he can build a birdhouse with it.
** Jonny pointing out how unhappy Plank is, while Plank continues to smile.
** The golden Bizarro moment when Jonny, stuck in a tree, somehow learns from [[CompanionCube Plank]] of all the trouble Eddy is causing in his kitchen. Eddy gapes a moment before covering Plank's mouth and sneaking off.
** During the sauna scam Rolf turns up the steamer causing his towel to fall off. The other kids freak out and run away.
--->(Rolf comes out naked)\
'''Rolf''': I must protest the rudeness of your guests.
** The crowning moment of the episode would be this:

(The house begins to shake)\
'''Edd''': [[ThisIsGonnaSuck This has been quite a day...]]\
(The house cracks and collapses in upon itself as everyone screams)
** When the angry kids surround the Eds after they knock down Jonny's house, Eddy quips "They'll never catch... ''the Flying Eduardo Brothers''!" and rips off his outfit to reveal he's wearing [[BrickJoke his acrobat costume from the circus at the beginning of the episode]]. An incredulous Edd lampshades this with "You're still wearing that thing?!"
** The Circus Eds moment ''must'' be counted. After an impressive acrobatic maneuver from Ed where Edd and Eddy are launched onto the seesaw in a totem-pole position, Ed prepares to jump off the top of the slide to launch them into the air. The build-up is perfect as Ed jumps (from a ridiculously exaggerated height) and happily falls, getting faster, ''faster, FASTER''... [[EpicFail and breaks through the seesaw, landing five feet into the ground.]]
*** [[TheDitz And]] ''[[TheDitz still]]'' [[TheDitz seems to think that he succeeded, looking up in the sky for the other two.]]
---->'''Ed:''' Eddy! Double-D! Stop fooling around and fall down, guys!
* The crown jewel in Jonny's repertoire of annoyance from "Shoo Ed": cracking his joints to make a sickening crunch sound. Which then bites the Eds at the end of the episode, with them being trapped in a cage with Rolf's agitated animals as Jonny cracks his joints to extort the Eds into him letting them go.
-->'''Edd:''' EDDY, GIVE HIM THE QUARTER!
** "I'm the Bike Pixie! Catch me if you can!"
** The Eds making Jonny as annoying as possible in a very Frankenstein-like scene. Also, when Jonny first shows them he cracks his knuckles.
---> '''Ed''': WHAT A PEST!!!
** Ed's contribution to making Jonny annoying.
--->'''Ed:''' I glued a block of wood to Jonny's foot!\
'''Edd:''' Ed? ''Why'' did you glue a wooden block to Jonny's foot?
* In "Ed In A Half-Shell", Eddy trains Jimmy to be more like him, and one of the ways is to throw eggs at a picture of Sarah. Instead, Jimmy ends up tossing the eggs at Ed and Edd. What's especially funny is [[http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/Nekagi/ed_egg.png Ed wearing his usual expression while being covered in eggs]].
** The trees falling down before Sarah arrives (the sound effect helps) because she heard a whistle being blown (no thanks to Ed).
* This hilarious exchange from "Mirror, Mirror on the Ed":
-->'''Edd:''' Um, guys?\
'''Eddy:''' What?\
'''Edd:''' (Points) IMPROBABLE ALERT!\
'''Eddy:''' (Looks, down, then runs away) AAHH!\

'''Eddy:''' I'm thinking, I'm thinking.\
'''Ed:''' Can I think?\
'''Edd and Eddy:''' '''[[BigNo NO!]]'''
** [[InSeriesNickname The Eds]] playing Truth or Dare later in the episode becomes absolutely hilarious when Ed gives Eddy the most nonsensical dare ''ever''.
--->'''Ed:''' OK, I dare you, Eddy, to sprout the wings of a bat and stomp like a zombie while whistling "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" through a car wash!\
'''Double D:''' *beat* Ed, try a more ''reasonable'' dare, please.
*** What makes this scene even better is how, during the {{beat}}, Eddy turns around and looks towards the sky, completely dumbfounded, while a hawk screeches in the distance.
*** Before that, Ed takes the first turn and actually spins himself instead of the bottle.
---->'''Ed:''' Okay, my turn to spin! ''*quite literally*''
*** Eddy's [[DelusionsOfEloquence attempts at talking like Edd]]:
---->"Oh dear, the insanitary! My skinny arms cannot move the weight! Oh, I know, I'll move it with my ''brain!''"\
"Pardon me, Eddy, may I fuel-inject? [[LittleKnownFacts Chickens cannot fly, as they are mammals!]]"\
'''Ed!Edd:''' Uh-oh, a fence. (''runs into it'') Gravy!\

'''Edd!Eddy:''' Toast is so crude, as the crust always gets stuck in my ''GAP!''\
''*Double D quickly covers his teeth*''
** Rolf tries to get Ed's help in pressing his raspberry harvest into juice, but thanks to Edd pretending to be Ed there's a slight mix-up. Rolf's frustrated reactions are hilarious, culminating in:
--->'''Rolf:''' You are not Ed! You have cursed my raspberries to the life of salad dressing, impostor with tiny feet!
** Rolf demanding Eddy!Ed's help with squashing raspberries.
--->'''Rolf:''' Hurry, as the raspberries beg to be squashed!\
'''Eddy!Ed:''' Let's sell the squash for cash! ''*gasp*'' [[CutenessProximity CHICKEN!! Pet the chicken, pet the chicken!]]
* Edd's first attempt at Ed's run ends poorly.

'''Edd''': Curse Ed's horrible posture...
** Eddy!Ed making fun of how Eddy frequently injures him.
--->'''Eddy!Ed''': Hey, burrhead, I will now inflict pain on you!\
'''Edd''': ''(stunned)'' What?
** Edd!Eddy complaining about his thirst.
--->'''Edd!Eddy''': Eddy, I too am thirsty. Quite partial, to be exact.\
'''Edd''': Parched! The word you're looking for is "parched!"\
'''Eddy!Ed''': Yeah, right, lumpy! Parched is a fish!
** Eddy!Ed's solution to Edd!Eddy's thirst.
--->'''Eddy!Ed''': Y'know what they say, Double D, "If you're thirsty, [[MundaneSolution take a drink.]]" (Edd!Eddy drinks so much raspberry juice that he has grown humongous and fat) "Gee, Double D, you really let yourself go!"
** Ed proves that while he's normally quite slow, [[VitriolicBestBuds he really understands Eddy.]]
--->'''Eddy!Ed:''' I have caused discomfort, 'cause I'm Eddy! Hahahaha!\
[[ActuallyPrettyFunny (Ed and Eddy break character and laugh hysterically)]]
** "What in Heaven's name is this? A ladle? [[OhCrap Oh my...]] ''IT'S A TUB OF '''GRAVY!!'''''"
** While Eddy hides in Edd's room, a security system goes off. A recording of Edd's voice calmly orders Eddy to leave his room. Eddy responds by silently miming "Blah, blah, blah" and opening and closing his fingers to imitate Edd's yapping.
** Ed and Plank imitating each other at the end. Bonus points for Ed perfectly emulating Plank's irregularly-sized eyes and smile.
* The beginning of "Hot Buttered Ed" has the Eds having a sleepover in the backyard. The hilarity starts when Ed and Eddy fight over a bag of chips, causing it to explode all over the tent.
-->'''Edd:''' Oh, look at this now! Dried potatoes that may contain dextrose, salts, and saturated fats all over my sleeping bag!\
'''Eddy:''' ''(snickers)'' Double D [[PottyFailure made a mess]] in his sleeping bag, Ed!\
'''Ed:''' ''(laughs)'' Hey, let's bake a pie and hit me with it!
** Then the Eds start making shadow puppets, with Eddy playfully pinching Ed's head and Edd making a dinosaur. Then Ed wants to try; he shuffles his hands in front of the flashlight and asks the others what it is. Cut to [[EpicFail a shadow of Ed's palm]].
--->'''Eddy:''' Hmm, gee, Ed. Is it a...''hand''?\
'''Ed:''' Oh, oh-oh! Wait, wait! Um... ''(shuffles hands again, only to get another palm shadow)'' I think it's broken, guys.
** Eddy is the first to wake up the next morning and realize they overslept (to get to the creek in time to get the best spot), quickly waking the others up. Double-D freaks out since he's never overslept before (nevermind that it's summer vacation and he's not obligated to be anywhere) while Ed... seems to think that a dog, or similar pet, ''named'' Spot is lost.
---> '''Ed''': Oh no! '''SPOT IS LOST!!!''' (''stands up and takes off running, dragging the whole tent with him'') Say it ain't so, Eddy!
* Jimmy mistaking a gas mask-wearing Edd for a gym teacher in "High Heeled Ed"
** "I am an Ed-i-pus, 'cuz I'm Ed!"
** Also, this exchange.
--->'''Eddy''': Chicks dig pants! Nazz wears pants, Sarah wears pants...\
'''Edd''': ''You'' wear pants.\
'''Eddy''': '''I''' wear pants... ''(Edd giggles as Eddy just realizes what he said)''\
'''Edd''': Pay attention, Eddy! Soft, clean, and fresh it is!\
'''Eddy''': I hate it when he does that.
* The songs from "Fa-La-La-La-Ed"
-->'''The Eds''': Deck the halls with boughs of holly!\
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!\
Give us cash, or we'll never stop singing!\
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la!
** Ed and Eddy pretending to be Edd's parents.
--->'''Mom!Eddy''': Eddward! Must your father and I remind you to do your homework?\
'''Dad!Ed''': ''(wearing huge glasses)'' That is right, son. A mind is a terrible organ to shovel!
** Ed pressing down on Edd's head to rewind him.
** [[SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud "Boing!" "Smack!" "Woosh!" "Pant, pant, pant!"]]
** Double-D freaking out when Eddy drags a rowing machine across the ground.
---> '''Edd''': ''Eddy, youre SCUFFING THE FLOOR!!''
** Nazz points out that it's snowing... but it's just Ed scratching dandruff off his head.
* In "Cry Ed", Eddy tries to injure himself to get the kids to pay attention to him instead of Jimmy. To do so, he prompts Edd to punch him, but Edd refuses to do so. Eddy taunts Edd for being chicken. Ed looks at this exchange with confusion, then smiles with an idea before walking off. Later, a shadow casts over Eddy and Edd, which prompts this little dialogue:
-->'''Ed:''' (''Holding a house over them'') Here, Eddy! Lots of hurt, hold the onions.\
'''Edd:''' (''Completely and rationally freaks out'') [[OhCrap OKAY FINE I'M A CHICKEN!]] (''quickly runs away'')\
'''Eddy:''' (''dumbfounded'') Um... Ed? (''Ed drops the house on Eddy'')\
'''Edd:''' Eddy? Can you hear me, Eddy? (''To Ed'') [[WhatTheHellHero ED!]] What in heaven's name were you '''''thinking'''''?!\
'''Ed:''' (''proudly'') [[RhetoricalQuestionBlunder Absolutely nothing, Double D]].
** After the aforementioned house incident, Edd begs for Ed to help him find an alternate solution.
--->'''Ed:''' [[LiteralMinded I don't know what one looks like, Double D.]]
** After his initial plea fails, Edd bribes Ed with [[FoodAsBribe pudding skin]] in return for his help.
** Ed claims that Eddy was attacked by a giant Swedish meatball. Rolf claims that he's seen such a meatball and that it stalks Wilfred at night.
** [[TheDitz Ed]]'s description of Eddy's "injury":
--->'''Ed:''' [[{{Technobabble}} The patient has suffered a Penelope to his Headasaurus area, as well as a major gush from, uhh... his Goliath... upper...]] [[BuffySpeak tube veiny thing]].
** "Fools! As it is my turn to ride the cluck-ball! Look up my nose, and see your future!"
*** Ed then procedes to pop said cluck-ball, and as it deflates, ''he deflates along with it.''
** How does Jimmy get injured in the beginning of the episode? [[MinorInjuryOverreaction A clothespin taps him lightly on the foot.]]
*** A more serious injury occurs later when Jimmy sees a squirrel above him. Next time we see him, a ''whole tree has fallen on top of him.''
** Edd improvises a "Playsafe Suit" for Jimmy by blowing up a rubber glove around him. The other kids bounce him around and Jimmy remains safe... until an AngryGuardDog punctures it, sending him flying as the glove deflates.
** Eddy makes his own safety suit out of a potbellied stove and a bucket for a helmet. Unfortunately, it's not match for Rolf, who has the uncanny ability to undo any welding; one tap and the stove splits in two, leaving Eddy vulnerable to a beating from Rolf and Kevin.
--->'''Rolf:''' Conserve your strength, Kevin, as you will need it for the Ed-boy thrashing. Rolf's eyes can see shoddy spot-welding from a distance of twenty goats!
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season Three]]
* "Wish You Were Ed": "That's My Horse." Dear God, ''"That's My Horse"'':
** For context, Ed, playing a villager, tumbles into a hole Rolf was digging. Rolf's immediate reaction is a ''celebration''. Apparently, in TheOldCountry, the village idiot falling into a hole deserves a celebratory dance:
--->'''Rolf:''' [[DisproportionateReward Your village idiot has fallen in Rolf's hole. A celebration, I say!]]
** Which culminates into the above-mentioned dance that involves Ed and Rolf repeatedly shouting "That's my horse!" while beating the living hell out of each other with whatever they get their hands on. Edd, playing the song, casually refers to it as a "delightful barbaric dance".
--->'''Eddy:''' I ''like'' this song!
** The Eds' idea of the Old Country is just randomly mashing foreign cultures together. One of Eddy's disguises is a kilt and a Washington wig. And it actually works.
** "Rolf's keister grows cold."
** "I wish I wish I was a fish!"
** This exchange:
--->'''Ed:''' Rolf's homesick, Eddy!\
'''Eddy:''' ''(startled)'' Where did you come from?!\
'''Ed:''' Blame my parents, Eddy!
** The brief, G-rated acid trip Rolf goes on before losing consciousness after smelling Ed's "magical" shoe.
** The scam Eddy uses to trick Rolf with the "Shoe of Destiny" - a giant bowl of Chunky Puffs, seemingly granted by a wish on the magical shoe. The cereal in question is just a bunch of tennis balls soaked in milk stolen from Rolf's cow.
** After waking up in the "village", Rolf takes a drink from the local well, and gets a giant bug in his mouth for his trouble. The water being infested with vermin convinces Rolf that he ''is'' back in the Old Country after all.
** When Eddy tries to scam Rolf with a "hole-digging permit", Rolf shuts his mouth and whispers something in an unidentifiable language as if someone's trying to eavesdrop on someone.
-->'''Eddy:''' [[FlatWhat What.]]
** Ed's dancing at the end of the episode.
-->'''Eddy:''' Check out Baryshni-Cough Drop here!
* In "Momma's Little Ed", Ed and Eddy's sticky notes are hilarious -- between Eddy writing "Please pick your nose" in place of "Please wash the phone", and getting Edd to insert broom lint into his belly button, put Wilfred in a tuxedo, and borrow sugar from the Kanker Sisters.
** When surrounded by the Kankers...
---> '''Edd:''' Ladies, please!\
''May {{Squee}}s.''\
'''May:''' Oh! We're ''ladies''.\
'''Lee:''' He said please.\
'''Marie:''' Let's kiss him!\
'''Edd:''' [[OhCrap Kiss?]] [[AnythingButThat No not that!]]\
'''Eddy:''' And I thought today was gonna be a [[{{Pun}} write-off]]. [[DontExplainTheJoke Get it? Write off?]] I can't stand it! ''[collapses from the hilarity]''\
'''Ed:''' ''[sees Edd crawling away, tucked into his hat like a turtle]'' Oh no! They tore off Double D's head!\
'''Eddy:''' Hurry up, Ed. Write another note.\
'''Lee:''' Well, if it ain't Tweedledee and Tweedledum.\
'''Marie:''' You take the short, yappy one, Lee.\
'''May:''' Beat it, Marie! You had your guy! ''[throws Marie against a trailer]'' I'll take the big goofy one, Lee.\
''[Kanker's begin to giggle in excitment]''\
'''Eddy:''' [[ScrewThisImOutOfHere Run, Ed!]]\
'''Ed:''' ''[Ed holds out measuring cup]'' Don't let me have to use this!\
'''Lee:''' What are you gonna do, bake us a cake? ''[Ed shoves the cup over the Kankers' heads.]''\
'''Ed:''' Wait for me, Eddy!
** The "sawing the air" bit, complete with Eddy actually getting indignant at it:
--->'''Ed:''' ''(using a saw)'' Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom... I cut the air in two! This side's yours, Double D!\
'''Edd:''' We can ''share'' the air, Ed!\
'''Eddy:''' It's ''my'' air; I ain't sharing! Ed, stop sawing the air!
** And earlier, along with Edd's reaction to it:
--->'''Ed:''' We can be like brothers and share the same bathroom!
** ''"IT'S THE STICKY NOTES OF THE APOCALYPSE!!!"''
** Ed unwittingly breaking Eddy's disco ball just to hang himself up there, with him denying that he did it...then [[ImmediateSelfContradiction immediately apologizing for it]].
--->'''Ed:''' It wasn't me! Sorry...
** Three words: [[MemeticMutation Hat of Discipline.]]
--->'''Rolf''': Rolf respects your vow to uphold the sticky notes of elders, yet... *pulls out a giant hammer-shaped hat and puts it on his head* you must be punished.\
'''Edd''': [[OhCrap What is that, Rolf?]]\
'''Rolf''': The Hat of Discipline. DO YOU LIVE IN A CAVE!? *slams the Hat of Discipline down on Edd* All is forgiven.\
'''Edd''':'' [[SquashedFlat (flat as a pancake)]]'' Thank you, Rolf.
** While Edd is running back and forth doing chores for his parents, Eddy and Ed watch. At one point, Ed scratches the back of his head with his ''tongue.''
** Ed getting caught in the sewing machine and being turned into a pair of jeans.
* "Once Upon an Ed" begins with the Eds stuck in Jonny's wall.
-->'''Jonny:''' Hey, how'd you get inside my wall? What's that, Plank? Plank says, "Take a hike or we'll call the cops!"\
'''Eddy:''' Hey, Plank, [[ImpliedDeathThreat ever take a tour of a toothpick factory?]]
** This exchange after Double D calls Eddy out on his version of a [[RashomonStyle Rashomon]] story:
--->'''Edd:''' Pure fiction, Eddy! Your exaggerated tale can only be described as "cockamamie!"\
'''Ed:''' Tsk tsk tsk... [[CallingMeALogarithm I have never heard such language...]]
** Ed's version of the story. It involves the Kanker sisters growing fifty feet high after eating "over-radiated mashed potatoes", shooting laser beams from ''chickens'' '''in their armpits''' that turn things into soap and cleansing products. They then mash together into one horrendous thing and start shooting radioactive lipstick marks. Ed saves the day by grabbing the Eds and [[MindScrew suddenly gaining the ability to fly while making buzzing noises despite lacking wings or anything of the like]].
--->'''Eddy:''' ([[BreakingTheFourthWall while in Ed's story]], scared) Ed, your story's getting weird!
** In that same episode, how Ed [[TheUnintelligible sees Double D]] when he's talking.
--->'''Edd:''' {{Blah blah blah}}, blah blah blah, blahblahblah! [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAX33IKhLvM Yap yap, blah blah, drivel drivel drivel]]!
*** Made even funnier by Eddy giving the blank smiling Ed a deadpan look during as much, as if to imply even he knows at least half of what Double D says.
** When Ed's finally finished with his [[ATaleToldByAnIdiot rambling, incoherent nonsense of a story]]:
--->'''Edd:''' Gracious, Ed, what an enchanted world you live in.\
'''Eddy:''' I got a cramp listening to you.
*** Funnily enough, his story’s actually the most accurate depiction of everyone, along with giving the proper explanation of how they got stuck in Jonny’s wall.
** "Take note, as I am a–" "...Stupid sock-head, and a babbling dweeb who can't lift a butterfly! I wish I was as good-looking as Eddy."
** This exchange.
--->'''Jonny:''' Plank and I want a ''real'' story with stuff like [[Music/TheBeatles octopus's gardens, silver hammers, or Mr. Kite]].\
'''Eddy:''' Open a window, Jonny, and get some air.
** When the Eds lose sight of the Kankers at the end:
--->'''Eddy:''' Wha-- Where'd they go?!\
'''Edd:''' I don't know! I was looking at Jonny!\
'''Ed:''' (''equally panicked'') My underwear's riding high, guys!
* Then there's "It Came From Outer Ed", showing us exactly what happens when [[TheDitz Ed]] comes up with a scam. It involves many parts that make no sense, including Ed telling Edd to move a bunch of rocks onto an X on the ground, despite the fact that Ed actually painted a Q. This is probably the highlight:
-->'''Ed:''' Nice job, Double-D! That looks just like a Q.\
'''Edd:''' ''Excuse'' me? Ed, I think somewhere along the line you lost your train of thought. Your plan is irrational, muddled, and inconsequential... Is that a ''doggy treat?''\
'''Ed:''' (''munching on a dog biscuit'') What's the rock for, Double-D?\
'''Edd:''' (''bewildered, drops the rock on his foot'') ''My'' '''''foot!'''''\
'''Eddy:''' (''comes into scene brutally injured'') ''MY'' '''''HEAD!'''''
** "Brains? What are we gonna do with brains?" Made funnier by Double D giving him an amused glance there.
** When Ed completes his "scam" by [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext disemboweling a stuffed bunny rabbit with his teeth]]:
--->'''Eddy:''' What the heck's he doing?!\
'''Edd:''' Embarrassing me to no end.
** When the kids run away from the Ed's "Scam"
--->'''Eddy:''' Nice scam! They took off! So where's the cash?
--->'''Ed:''' Cash?
--->'''Eddy:''' AHHH! ''(points at Edd)'' It's YOUR fault! '''WHY DO YOU ENCOURAGE HIM?!'''
** Also, the final line as Ed's "scam" comes to fruition:
--->'''Ed:''' '''EVIL TIM HAS BECKONED THEM!'''
** Rolf's childhood companion is... a giant clam named Bobo.
** Say nothing of Rolf's appropriate freak out when he realizes just what Ed has done.
--->'''Rolf:''' Edboy has bitten into the belly of a stuffed handcloth! ''(Pulls giant clam from his back pocket)'' QUICKLY! We must seek shelter within the bosom of Bobo!\
'''Nazz:''' If you think I'm getting in that thing--- ''(Gets cut off as Rolf grabs her and throws her in)''\
'''Rolf:''' YOU WILL DOOM US ALL!\
'''Nazz:''' But I'm allergic!\
'''Jonny:''' Listen to it gurgle, Plank! ''(Rolf hops in Bobo with the rest of the kids, shuts it, leaving only his legs exposed for them to run away from the above result of Ed's "scam").''\
'''Edd:''' ''(Staring dumbstruck at the previous scene with Eddy and even Ed)'' ...Was that a giant clam?
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxf0LNCE2c0 lunch break]].
** The entire first part of the episode when Eddy pushes Jimmy and Ed against Double D. AmusingInjuries at its finest, Sarah's over-hysterical reaction is both hilarious and completely worth it for all her KarmaHoudini moments.
* From "Three Squares and an Ed", in which Eddy tries to get Ed out of being grounded.
-->'''Eddy:''' Now all we have to do is go up the- *stairs aren't there* What happened to the stairs?!\
'''Ed:''' My parents took 'em down because I am grounded!\
'''Edd:''' [[ThisIsWrongOnSoManyLevels That's... disturbing.]]
** The Eds sneaking away [[BehindAStick behind the second floor banister]]. The way they contort themselves is both hilarious and creepy.
* "Dueling Eds":
** When Eddy asks Edd "What's your problem?", Ed [[ComicallyMissingThePoint gets carried away talking about Edd's personal flaws]], instead of Edd's immediate problem of being upset Eddy offended Rolf.
--->'''Ed:''' It's his hat, Eddy. [[IconicItem He always wears it]], and [[SesquipedalianLoquaciousness he talks forever about stuff]]. Not to mention [[NeatFreak his obsession with cleanliness]], big problem!
** The fact that Ed was the one right about giving Rolf cupcakes to say sorry and Double D worsened the situation by giving him a plant.
** After winning the duel against Eddy, Rolf makes peace with the Eds with "the traditional eels of forgiveness", a custom in which you stuff a bucketful of live eels ''down your pants''. Ed realizes he's allergic to eels and suddenly has a reaction... eventually turning into an anthropomorphic fish.
--->'''Eddy:''' '''''FISHFACE! AAAAHHHH!!!'''''\
'''Ed:''' Can somebody scratch my scales?
* From "Will Work for Ed", Ed is ready to leave the house for Rolf's: he walks to a car, gets in, and starts the engine while Eddy laughs.
-->'''Edd:''' Ed, no, you're too young to drive!
** [[https://youtu.be/rGV9mZw3iVE?feature=shared&t=11 The Mexican Spanish dub makes it funnier]] with Ed [[DiegeticSoundtrackUsage whistling the theme song]] as he is walking to the car and arriving to Rolf's house.
** From the same episode, Ed begins his work as a hired "nincompoop" for Rolf. Rolf tells him to use "the nincompoop entrance", which is just a hole in the yard fence. Ed cheerfully replies "Okey-dokey!" and smashes right through it, making the hole even bigger.
** Rolf's [[MundaneMadeAwesome epic speech about Ed's first task]].
--->'''Rolf:''' ''Behold, the potato!'' Bow to this fruit of the earth, then ''peel it like it was the last task of your miserable life!!''
** Even funnier, Ed fails miserably to peel the potato, prompting Rolf to bitch-slap him.
--->'''Rolf:''' Nincompoop! Must I hold your hand?!\
'''Ed:''' [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Nope, went before we got here, boss.]]
** Edd and Eddy help Ed peels the potatoes, then go the extra mile to cut them down to French fries. Rolf is not appreciative, to say the least.
--->'''Rolf''': THIS CANNOT BE! The spud has been shamed...\
'''Ed''': Hey boss, am I a nincompoop or what?
** Eddy sets up a picket line on Ed's behalf, marching outside Rolf's house chanting "ROLF'S A JERK! AIN'T GONNA WORK!" Then Jonny chimes in with [[ComicallyMissingThePoint "WE HATE BROCCOLI!"]] Eddy pauses for a bit, then resumes chanting.
** When Kevin gets into a scrap with Eddy, [[DumbBlonde Nazz]] [[HiddenDepths quotes some legalese]] supporting Eddy's right to protest. Her explanation for knowing that kind of thing? "Babysitters gotta know this stuff, dude."
* In "Ed, Ed and Away", Ed manages to make Eddy fly by pulling Eddy's wallet chain like a starter cord, causing his hair to spin like a helicopter rotor and lift them into the air. Edd's reaction is the funniest part:
-->'''Edd:''' Remind me to ask how you did that, Ed...
** The same episode has Edd, near the beginning, complaining about their endless series of failed scams:
--->'''Edd:''' It's the same thing, day in and day out... it's so monotonous! A pipe dream, at best!\
'''Ed:''' You are not alone, my friend. [[SidetrackedByTheAnalogy I dream of pipes, too.]]\
'''Eddy:''' [[SarcasmMode Boy, Ed, who'da thought?]]
** Sarah and Jimmy are pretending to fly a plane with Jonny and Plank as passengers.
--->'''Jimmy:''' Pardon me, sir; we have your lunch. ''(places a couple of peanuts on Jonny's tray)''\
'''Jonny:''' That's lunch?\
''(Jimmy places a lobster dinner on Plank's tray)''\
'''Jonny:''' ''(looks at Plank's tray, then at Plank)'' Whaddya mean you special ordered?
** Also, in the same episode, all three Eds are chasing after a balloon as they run through Rolf's farm and plow through several animals... Except for a cow which promptly falls on top of Rolf.
--->'''Eddy''': Pop the balloon!\
'''Edd''': Onward, brave latex composite!\
'''Ed''': ''[They run into a chicken]'' CHICKEN! ''[They run into Wilfred the pig.]'' PIG! ''[They run into the cow Rolf is washing. She stops them in their tracks.]'' Oof! Cow...\
'''Rolf:''' ''(Cow slowly tips toward him)'' Mama! [[ThisIsGonnaSuck A bandage for Rolf!]] ''(Cow crushes him)''\
'''Eddy''': (''resuming the chase'') Hurry up! It's getting away!\
'''Edd''': Excuse me, Rolf.\
'''Ed''': What'd ya do, Double D?\
'''Rolf''': ''[sighs in pain]'' Never again will Rolf store house keys in his trouser pockets.
** When the trio chase the balloon into a playground.
---> '''Edd:''' Goodness Ed! What's that devouring your leg?!\
'''Ed:''' (Looks down at his leg) IT'S A BAG! Get it off, get it off! (He tries to shake the bag of)
*** What makes it even funnier is the fact that the bag is making growling sounds like an angry dog.
*** RELEASE ME MUTANT BAG, HAVE PITY!!!
** And again, from the same episode and sequence:
--->'''Edd:''' We'd have to sprout wings to reach it at that height!\
'''Ed:''' Fly, Double D, fly! ''(throws Edd)''\
'''Nazz:''' ''(walks by)'' Hey, guys, [[TemptingFate what's up]]?\
'''Ed:''' Fly, Nazz, fly! ''(throws Nazz)''\
'''Eddy:''' She didn't even make a grab for it!
** Then, after the balloon pops...
--->'''Ed:''' Float, little friend, float. ''(tosses balloon)''
** The whole episode, really. Gets even better when you realize that the show managed to make a funny and entertaining episode about ''chasing a balloon''.
* Speaking of Rolf, in "X Marks the Ed", does he manage to get rid of Eddy's zit? Yes … but he also manages to shrink Eddy's head to the size of an acorn!
-->'''Eddy:''' ''(in a ridiculously high-pitched, squeaky voice)'' [--WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HEAD?!--]\
'''Ed''': It is so puny!\
'''Edd''': This is worthy of a Nobel Prize!\
'''Eddy''': [--WHAT'D YA DO TO ME, YA QUACK?!--]\
'''Rolf''': Quack? I am Rolf.\
'''Eddy''': [--YOU'RE A QUACK! QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!--]\
'''Rolf''': [[ComicallyMissingThePoint I am not a duck, I am Rolf!]]\
'''Edd''': ''[with a notepad]'' How did you know what ingredients would react in such a way as to come to this conclusion?\
'''Rolf''': What?\
'''Ed''': My turn for shrinkage, Rolf!\
'''Eddy''': [--FIX ME!--]\
'''Edd''': Tell me!\
'''Ed''': Shrink me!\
'''Rolf''': Stay back! ''[makes a run for it]''\
'''Eddy''': [--GET HIM!--] ''[chasing Rolf]'' [--WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU! FIX MY HEAD, YA QUACK!--]\
'''Ed''': He's strong! ''[He laughs as they continue to chase Rolf.]''
** Worth mentioning is the three minutes leading up to that moment: Rolf treats the whole thing like a cooking show—the show's StockSoundEffects even include studio applause—and then he locks Eddy's head in a box ''with a chicken'' for twenty-four hours, during which he passes the time by carving a wooden clog out of a tree stump [[RuleOfFunny in his underwear]].
--->'''Ed:''' I wish I had a zit!\
'''Edd:''' Ed, you have [[BrickJoke a boat on your back]].
** Eddy's zit starts out normal enough, but the stress of trying to hide it, as well as the mockery from the other kids, causes it to balloon in size. By the time Rolf steps in, it's so big Eddy has to support it with both hands.
** Ed is revealed to have an AbsurdPhobia against ''wigs'' when Eddy tries to hide his zit under one. Ed immediately tears it off with his teeth, and savages it like an angry dog.
-->'''Edd:''' ED! You're violating a ''hair piece!''\
'''Ed:''' (''completely serious'') Wigs scare me, Double-D.
* "From Here to Ed"
** The "Slide on the soap!" sequence. [[http://youtu.be/wnPzEOSoK7Q Try watching it for 10 minutes.]] [[http://youtu.be/uF9Sis11ISs Or how about 15 minutes?]]
** The Eds' disguising themselves as Jonny by dressing up in [[PaperThinDisguise a giant papier-mache head]] with a crudely-made replica of Plank glued to it. Kevin doesn't even take a second glance at the disguise and just says "Oh! Hey, Jonny!". Then, the Eds trip over a fence and get stuck because of the large head, prompting Kevin to snark, "What a ''freak''." ''Then'', at the end of the cartoon, Jonny walks by wearing the thing and quips "Check it out, guys! I'm inside my own head!"
** While sneaking around to spy on Kevin, Eddy and Ed communicate with a series of complicated {{hand signals}}. Edd quips [[IDoNotSpeakNonverbal "Oh, like any of that meant anything!"]]
** When Eddy prepares to fire a cannon at Kevin from a very crudely built cardboard cloud contraption, Double D's reaction takes the cake:
--->'''Edd:''' No one would ever suspect Mother Nature to harbor a spring-loaded circus cannon and [[SuddenlyShouting BLOW INNOCENT BYSTANDERS TO KINGDOM COME!]]\
'''Eddy''': [[ComicallyMissingThePoint I'm rubbing off on you, Double D]]!
*** Also the reason why Double D gives Ed a traffic cone to wear as a helmet. "Put this on, Ed. It'll protect the turtle."
** This exchange.
--->'''Edd''': [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext Ed. Do you know there's a turtle on your head?]]\
'''Ed''': [[BluntYes Yep!]]
** Ed mistakenly ambushes a hapless Jimmy who got stuck in the Eds' flypaper trap:
---> '''Ed''': ''PREPARE TO MEET YOUR MAKER!''\
'''Jimmy''': ...[[BreakingTheFourthWall Antonucci]]?
* Yet another Ed moment, from "Boys Will Be Eds": the boys (most of them, anyway) are [[InternalMonologue thinking about Nazz]]. Ed's thoughts?
-->'''Kevin:''' (thinking) She's so radical.\
'''Eddy:''' (thinking) She can't take her eyes off me.\
'''Edd:''' (thinking) Her hair is so clean, and not flyaway at all.\
'''Ed:''' (thinking) Hello? Echo! MY NAME IS ED!
** Ed's first gift to Nazz:
--->'''Nazz:''' Hey there, Ed---*stares in silence*\
'''Ed:''' *Shows a crude Nazz face drawn over his stomach.* It's you. I drew it.\
'''Nazz:''' [[DamnedByFaintPraise I don't know what to say...]]\
'''Ed:''' Should I hang it in your room?!
** Kevin's gift is to Nazz is to have Rolf shave her name into the side of Victor's fur:
--->''(Victor is wearing skates, and Rolf rolls him over to Nazz)''\
'''Nazz:''' Victor changed his name to "Nazz," just like me!\
'''Rolf:''' Are you weak in the upper story?\
'''Kevin:''' ''(nervous and sweating)'' Heh-heh. Later, Rolf. Kinda neat, huh, Nazz? It's sort of a gift for you.\
'''Nazz:''' ''(notices that the skates Victor is wearing are hers)'' Why is Nazz wearing my skates?\
''(Rolf looks as though he is dumbfounded by Nazz's stupidity)''\
'''Kevin:''' Um, yeah, I put in new bearing so they glide real smooth, you know.\
'''Nazz:''' Awesome!\
'''Rolf:''' ''(sounds like he's about to start laughing)'' Rolf will sit to the side and observe with hysterics! ''(he walks away, pushing Victor along)''
** At the end of the episode, the Eds try to [[SerenadeYourLover play a song to win Nazz's heart.]] We have Ed introducing the song with his comb and paper, and soon Edd starts playing the bongos. And then Eddy starts singing:
--->'''Eddy:''' (singing) Hit me! Have mercy! Sweet Nazz don't give me gas! Right on! Oh Nazz! Uh huh you are so rad! Oh baby! Stop me! Uh huh!
** Then it turns out that they are singing at '''Jimmy's''' house and, not only is he wearing curlers, but he offers to join their "band" by pointing out that he "plays a mean xylophone".
* "Ed or Tails":
-->'''Ed''': Could you pull my finger, Rolf?
-->'''Rolf''': ''(completely deadpan)'' [[LittleNo No.]]
-->'''Ed''': ''([[https://youtu.be/9k9irsahosQ sobs]])''
** When Eddy tells Ed to think of why a pack of two jawbreakers couldn't be equally given to three people, it takes him ''a literal entire day'' to eventually realize why that wouldn't work. He holds on to Eddy and Double-D for the whole time too, including having them sleep in his grip.
--> '''Eddy''': Should we tell him, Double-D?
--> '''Edd''': He's a big boy, Eddy.
** Edd tries to divide one of the jawbreakers by having Ed drop a refrigerator on it. That only causes it to fly off and get swallowed by Jonny, with Plank getting in the way and getting inside his mouth as well.
** The race Rolf sets up to see which Ed gets the jawbreaker (an obstacle course where you have to keep an egg intact the whole run). Eddy and Edd cheat like crazy, which Rolf doesn't mind because it's apparently part of the fun. After Eddy ties up Ed's shoes and causes him to fail on the starting line, he spends most of the race pathetically attempting to distract the other two, only to just [[CuttingTheKnot walk up and claim the jawbreaker right as Eddy wins the race]]. Rolf allows this too.
** In the end, the last jawbreaker gets lost in the creek. Ed thinks he found it and is already sucking on it, but it turns out to be a giant live snail. As he continues to suck on it, the snail peeks out of his ear for the IrisOut. Double-D tries to stop him, but Eddy lets him keep going just for some petty revenge.
* "Gimme Gimme Never Ed"
** Plank is apparently unimpressed by Eddy's homemade bumper cars.
--->'''Jonny:''' Plank says that bumper cars are for chickens, and whoever thought that one up should have his brain lacquered. Boy, buddy, that's harsh.
** The jar of termites Ed accidentally dropped devouring a tree Plank got stuck on where the Eds had to rescue him. They fall into the creek and off an InevitableWaterfall.
** The infamously comical [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZE9Oq-68cE roller coaster ride]].
* "My Fair Ed":
** Eddy chasing Ed around the neighborhood with a stalk of [[StockYuck broccoli]]. In order, Ed pushes a fence that Jimmy painted a unicorn on, causing Sarah to yell "It's attacking, Jimmy!" before Ed unknowingly flattens them against another fence, then he and Eddy destroy Rolf's eggplant fields and cause Kevin to wipe out on his bike while he's giving Nazz a ride, resulting in Kevin and Nazz both ending up embedded in a lamp post.
*** The tables are turned when Ed knocks the broccoli off Eddy's hands and into his. Ed is now the one chasing Eddy, but he ends up running around a tree, while Eddy stands aside saying "You've almost got me, Ed."
** Rolf after Eddy gives him an impromptu bath:
--->'''Rolf:''' Rolf ''was'' the son of a shepherd, now Rolf is the posterior of a duck!
** We don't know what Eddy and Ed did to Nazz other than she now has to wear a BrownBagMask.
* "O-Ed Eleven"
** As Edd leaves to translate the map...
--->'''Eddy''': What're we supposed to do for an hour?\
'''Ed''': I've got an elastic, Eddy.\
'''Eddy''': Big deal... (''Screen fades to black as Ed stretches the rubber band and shoots it at Eddy'') '''YOWCH!'''
** Near the beginning:
--->'''Edd''': Eddy, how do you suppose we enter this ''outpouring of resistance?!''\
'''Eddy''': No problem. I got a key. ''(proceeds to ram the door open with a'' '''''crowbar''''''')''
** Eddy whacks Edd's door multiple times with a shovel.
--->'''Edd''': [[DeadpanSnarker Why did you pummel my door with a shovel?]]
** Let's not forget how Ed "solved" the map: Placing the blank map on Eddy's face, his ear acting as the X.
---> '''Ed''': [[EurekaMoment I think I just thunk.]]\
'''Edd''': [[BuffySpeak Was that English, Ed?]]
** Ed again (he's just ''made'' of this trope, isn't he?) this time explaining to Edd how he deciphered the map made by Eddy's older brother, [[InsaneTrollLogic as only he can]]:
--->'''Ed:''' [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment Because I am a brother, and Eddy's brother is a brother, and Eddy is a brother to Eddy's brother, as a brother I am.]] *hugs himself*\
'''Edd:''' Umm, nicely put, Ed.\
'''Eddy:''' Oh brother.
** "My fantasy come true! I '''AM''' BUTTERED TOAST!!"
** And this final exchange as the Kankers let Ed and Edd go while keeping Eddy (who was too greedy to pay them compensation)
--->'''Edd:''' Oh, Ed, if ''only'' I had brought just a few more coins!\
'''Ed:''' You did the brotherly thing, Double-D.\
'''Edd:''' You really think so, Ed?\
'''Ed:''' Think what, Double-D?\
'''Eddy''': HELP ME!
* "The Luck of the Ed" has the following moments:
-->'''Ed:''' Well, I was walking down the sidewalk, carrying Eddy's box, when I saw a bug. Hello, bug! I followed the little dickens to this tree, see? And I hit my head on that branch! (hits head on a branch) Nope, sorry. It was this one. (hits head on another branch) Then, I gazed at the stars.\
'''Edd:''' Ed? Please don't do that.\
'''Eddy:''' C'mon, we're wasting time! Where'd ya hide the magazines, Ed?\
'''Ed:''' Here we go... (pulls out a rubber chicken) ... a rubber chicken. (throws chicken) "Hide the box, hide the box", I said... (trips on rubber chicken) ... but then I tripped; hanging onto my pal's box of magazines for dear life! (falls over) I fell, and slid into a sewer.\
'''Eddy:''' ''A '''SEWER?!''' '' My magazines are in the sewer?!\
'''Edd:''' [[SarcasmMode Seems appropriate]]. You do realize that if your magazines are in that sewer, they'll be totally illegible; the text smeared by the damp sludge.\
({{Beat}})\
'''Eddy:''' IT'S THE ''PICTURES'' I'M WORRIED ABOUT!
** Edd being confused as to how Ed hid the magazines so quickly... seeming to ignore that just a scene ago he threw a bowling at his (Edd's) stomach and he survived!
** The whole concept of the magazines in and of itself is funny especially when you realize what kind of content is in them.
** The following scene where they examine Ed.
--->'''Eddy:''' What's with the glass?\
'''Edd:''' Eddy, please don't interrupt. (take out a cupcake) Now Ed, do you see what I see?\
''({{Beat}})''\
'''Ed:''' CUPCAKE!\
'''Eddy:''' So what's with the cupcake?!\
'''Edd:''' Patience, ''please!''\
''(Edd places the cupcake on the glass and Ed wolfs it down. Edd then sandwiches Ed's head between two slides of glass)''\
'''Eddy:''' What's with Ed's face?!\
'''Edd:''' ''(agitated)'' Will you just let me do this, Eddy?!
*** Which follows with the disgusting things that Edd sees in Ed's hair.
---->'''Edd:''' *exasperated* Ed, there's a new invention called "soap," have you heard of it?
** Edd asks Eddy to read a magazine while the former is examining Ed's head.
--->'''Eddy''': Read a magazine? I would if I knew where Ed hid 'em!\
'''Edd''': ''(contemptuously)'' Oh. You ''read'' those?
** Eddy staring at Edd with giant growing eyes and Ed's comment.
---> '''Eddy''': [(paranoid) OH, is that so? And what makes you think that, Mr. I-know-everything-about-Kevin-knowing-nothing-about-my-magazines? (As he speaks, his eyes grow comedically large.)
---> '''Ed''': [carrying a shovel] Boy, Double D. Eddy never looks at me like that.
** This little GettingCrapPastTheRadar moment:
--->'''Ed''': Look what I found, guys!
--->'''Eddy''': [[HoYay I'd tell ya I love ya, Ed,]] [[ParentalBonus but I ain't that kinda guy!]]
** "The number you are dialing is not in service."
** The "My bike!" "The magazines!" "Hat, please!" and "[[ItMakesSenseInContext Eyebrow]]" argument.
--->'''Ed''': (After Eddy stole his eyebrow) But Eddy, I can't make funny faces without that!
*** Even better in the Mexican dub, where Ed says instead: "Eddy! I can't make Anime faces without that eyebrow!".
** After Eddy sends the other two to get Kevin.
--->'''Edd''': Please don't do anything rash, Eddy! Thank you.
*** When Ed and Edd get to Kevin's house, they pound on the door so desperately that they accidentally start ''punching Kevin in the face'' when he answers and knock him over.
** After all that, it turns out Ed ''hid the magazines separately from the box'', and they have to repeat the whole experience over again.
* "Ed... Pass It On" has [[http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii226/edtropolis/grabs/ed-8.jpg Ed as a roast turkey. Naked.]]
-->'''Jonny:''' '''FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!'''\
'''Edd:''' Ed, you were supposed to use a REAL TURKEY!!!\
'''Ed:''' Stuffing, anybody?\
'''Eddy:''' (covering him back up) ''Idiot.''
** [[ItMakesSenseInContext For context]], the dish they were trying to serve was called the "Ed Turkey A-La-King". ''This'' is what happens when you have '''[[TheDitz Ed]]''' [[LiteralMinded as the chef to cook it]].
** "Whaddya mean an Ed Turkey A-La-King for you and a couple of breadsticks for the bald kid?"
** Later, Kevin sees the Eds setting up for a fake welcome-home party for Eddy's brother
--->'''Kevin:''' What's with the balloons; you dorks getting married? To each other?
** Nazz's yodeling is so bad that even ''Ed'' shatters.
-->'''Kevin''': Nice lungs, Nazz.
* In "Brother, Can You Spare an Ed?", Ed is undecided about whether he should buy a jawbreaker for himself, or fudge for Sarah. Just then, a shoulder angel version of Edd appears to steer Ed in the right direction. A shoulder devil version of Eddy appears immediately afterwards to tempt Ed with jawbreakers. Devil Eddy flies into Ed's head to tempt him and pulls Angel Edd inside, where a brawl ensues inside Ed's head. Ed finally has enough and runs into the candy store. Pan over to Edd and Eddy, who are actually tussling on the pavement.
** To repay Sarah, Eddy has Ed and Edd hanging from a tree and lets the kids hit them like a pinata. Jonny goes first; he only gets a shoe from Edd, but the moment he whacks Ed he's buried in all the dirt and random junk in Ed's person.
*** Edd gets even with Eddy by having him be the pinata, and to make it worse, he charges ''a penny'' per hit to drag things out. Rolf comes with a large bag full of pennies, to Eddy's horror.
* "The Day the Ed Stood Still":
** Edd dispenses some choice sarcasm in his reaction to Eddy's carnival scheme:
--->'''Edd:''' Congratulations, Eddy! Your skill at mundane, misleading, and moth-ridden carnival games makes me want to throw caution to the wind and give you all my money.\
'''Eddy:''' (''beat'') You're making fun of me, aren't you?
** As the Eds survey the damage Monster Ed did to the playground, Eddy laughs at a swing frame bent in the shape of a chicken.
** "Overwhelming fear is no excuse for rudeness, Rolf."
** "I am Bed Buddy! ''Sleep on me!''"
*** "I am Tissue Head! ''I will blow your nose!''"
* Although it was horrible how Ed and Edd got punished because of what Eddy did in "If It Smells Like An Ed," you can't help but laugh at the kids throwing fruits at the Eds. It's equivalent to stoning.
* In "Don't Rain on My Ed", Eddy collides into Kevin and accidentally '''swallows him whole''' while he was on the way to the candy store. Kevin's response:
-->'''Kevin''': ''([[DinnerDeformation in Eddy's stomach, his shape visible]])'' No, really, I'm pounding you, dork.
** This later comes back in one of the most triumphant {{Brick Joke}}s ever: At one point, Eddy runs underneath Jimmy, who's tending to a garden on a board barely dangling from his roof. Said garden falls just as Eddy passes underneath it... yet, by some miracle, it falls completely ''around'' him, with Eddy not even getting so much as a scratch on him. Then what happens?
--->'''Eddy:''' [[TemptingFate Missed me!]]\
'''*[[PianoDrop A random piano lands on him from completely out of nowhere]]*'''\
'''Kevin: (standing on the roof)''' That's for gobbin' all over my bike, dork!
** "KANKERS!" "[[MediumAwareness EXTREME CLOSE-UP!]]"
** While they're running through the construction yard, Double-D quickly gets tired and realizes how futile trying to keep up with the other two is, so he grabs some random junk lying around, and the next time we see him, he's managed to cobble together a motorized scooter to ride on. ''While still running!''
** The ridiculous difficulty the Eds have of reaching the candy store before it closes; ''everything'' seems to go wrong. The real kicker comes when they're just across the street from the store... only for a freak hurricane to start up and the Eds getting caught up in a horde of chickens Rolf is herding through the street.
** Ed's reaction to said chicken drive.
---> '''Ed:''' (ecstatic) Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-'''CHICKEEEEENNNSS!'''
** The icing on the cake? Jonny beat the Eds to the candy store, ''despite having giant [=TVs=] strapped to his feet the whole time''. Truly, this was one of the most {{Epic Fail}}s in the Eds' existence.
* From "Once Bitten, Twice Ed", Eddy using one of Ed's toys (he just crudely tapes a walkie-talkie to the back of a monster action figure) to trick Ed into doing increasingly stupid tasks.
-->'''Eddy:''' Approach me mortal, for I am the great Baron O' Beef Dip!\
'''Ed:''' (Confused) Baron O' Beef Dip?\
'''Eddy:''' Is there an echo in here?
** Baron O' Bee...er, Eddy commanding Ed to eat his mattress is the funniest bit in that sequence, especially when Ed responds with an enthusiastic "YUM!"
*** Seconds later, Edd walks into the room, and is horrified to discover that Ed had somehow ''unhinged his own jaw'' and is actually '''swallowing his mattress whole!'''
---->'''Edd:''' (''[[BrickJoke comes in with the rocket Ed 'fired' lodged in his ear]]'') "Excuse me, Ed, but is this your--'''GOOD LORD, MAN!'''"\
'''Ed:''' (''Eating the mattress, and finishes as Double D shakes in fear of seeing things he rather not see, and somehow manages to digest the whole thing into his stomach, and retaining his original form shortly thereafter'') "That hit the spot!"\
'''Edd:''' "Ed, what have I told you about the needless taxing of one's digestive system?"
** The way Ed daintily wipes his lips with his shirt afterwards.
*** "Wolf down the non-believer!"
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Season Four]]
* The scene where the Eds frighten the Urban Rangers with monstrous noises in "An Ed in the Bush". Double D, well, ''tries'' to sound scary...
-->'''Edd''': Boo! Boo boo boo boo! Bleh, bleh! Boo boo!
** Double D prepares a bag of provisions for the Eds stay in the woods. Unfortunately, it's so overpacked he's eventually trapped under it and unable to move.
---> '''Edd''': [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor A little help would really be appreciated!!]] *cut to Ed ''dragging'' Double D, still trapped under the giant crate of supplies, which doesn't stop until the crate gets stuck in some trees and Double D is wrenched loose*
** The ritual Rolf performs to prepare to hunt down the Eds. Some of it is understandable, like securing his pants or painting war paint under his eyes with dirt... but he caps it off by yanking out a nose hair to drive himself into a fury from the pain.
** Also, this [[MemeticMutation unforgettable]] exchange:
---> '''Edd''': This would be so much more bearable if I had my provisions!\
'''Eddy''': What's that? ''[beat]'' [[SarcasmMode I think it's the sound of]] ''[[SarcasmMode no one caring!]]''
** The bit at the start where Eddy is taking part of a game where the goal is to hogtie Ed as quickly as possible like some bizarre human rodeo while Double-D times him.
* "See No Ed", where in looking for the missing Eds, Kevin slips on one of the many {{banana peel}}s laying around... and promptly lampshades it in a YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe tone:
-->'''Kevin:''' ''Man'', [[LampshadeHanging that's old!]]
** Ed with bananas up his nose.
--->'''Ed:''' Buy one, get one free! Ha ha ha.
** TheReveal at the end about the Ed's mysterious absence through the whole episode; they were looking for the mask to the monkey costume Ed was supposed to wear for their Jungle Park scam that the other kids eventually stumbled across. A frantic Eddy, rather than just [[StatingTheSimpleSolution having Ed draw a new mask]], ends up [[NakedPeopleAreFunny stripping Ed down to his underwear]] looking for it, then Double-D, then ''himself!'' Oh, and he ended up getting Double-D's briefs too.
--> '''Edd''': *hiding behind Ed* For gods sake, Eddy, control yourself! Excuse me, Ed...
--> '''Ed''': Table for two!
* "Is There An Ed In The House?".
** During the photography scam, Edd asks Rolf to "smile for the tawdry sock puppet".
** Ed's attempt at drawing a picture of Rolf includes a giant monster standing behind him. "Rolf's head is about to be ''crunched'' by a four-legged mutant bus driver."
** Ed using a ''vacuum cleaner'' to suck up his baby sister Sarah's snot.
** Jimmy and Ed's dueling bedtime stories.
--->'''Jimmy:''' Silly Little Jilly frolicked in the daisies...\
'''Ed:''' Spewing slime from its tentacles!\
'''Jimmy:''' "I'm so silly", said Jilly...\
'''Ed:''' As Zorbo sucked his brain!
*** You can hear [[OohMeAccentsSlipping Matt Hill's Canadian accent slipping out]] as he says the line, "He gagged on his bones".
** "Ed, you're the motor." "I have achieved ''greatness!''"
** Ed running off when Sarah rings her calling bell, leading to Double D and Nazz crashing the car.
--->'''Edd:''' Brake! ''Brake!''\
'''Nazz:''' What brake?\
'''Edd:''' (''to Eddy'') You forgot to put in a brake?!
** After Eddy sends Ed to stand up to Jimmy, Ed throws Sarah's ball out the window, and it hits Edd. Then he throws Jimmy out the window, and Jimmy also lands on Edd.
** The fact that after all this, every failed scam, Eddy just shrugs it off as a bad day and heads home to watch television. It's actually awesome and hilarious that Eddy is the one unscathed from this!
* "An Ed Is Born", the one where the boys are making a video to send to Eddy's brother, is CMOF ''in its entirety.''
-->'''Edd:''' Sorry, Eddy, the 'planet baron' story threw me off.
** It's clear that Double D has completely given up on understanding Ed once he learns of the unusual place in which Ed stores his camera.
--->'''Edd:''' ''(completely monotone)'' Why do you keep a camera in your dryer, Ed.\
'''Ed:''' What?
** Although Eddy declares himself the director, there are times where ''Edd'' takes control of the production.
** The scene where Ed eats the camera is the icing on that cake of hilarity.
---> '''Ed''': *stares into the camera and licks the lens* Hello, my name is Ed!\
'''Eddy''': *Bummed out, sitting on the curb* We're running out of ideas, Double D. Think of something that'll make me look good.\
'''Edd''': Ed, you be careful with that! Oh, what do I care, (''Ed smirks'') it's his camera...\
'''Ed:''' (suddenly raises the camera above his head and shoves it down his throat) Man the helms! Dive! Dive!\
'''Edd:''' ''(sternly)'' Ed, what have you done? Open it! OPEN IT!\
'''Ed''': *opens his mouth to reveal the camera sitting in his stomach* GRAAAHHH!\
'''Edd''': *reaches into Ed's stomach wearing rubber gloves to retrieve the sodden camera* You should know better than to eat the camera. Just think what it'll do to your digestive tract.\
'''Ed''': (giddy) Boy, I can't wait to see that part, Double D!\
'''Edd''': Yes, well, let's not and say we did, Ed.\
'''Eddy''': C'mon, c'mon! I've got an impression to make, remember?
** Jonny steals the video camera from the Eds while they are filming and runs off with it.
--->'''Edd''': Jonny!\
'''Eddy''': (jumps at Jonny) WHY YOU LITTLE-! (screen goes to static then comes back showing Eddy has buried Jonny in the ground with his head sticking out) He scares the birds away; what can I tell ya? (drops shovel on Jonny's head)
** In Eddy's room, when Eddy signs autographs on cardboard replicas of the kids faces:
--->'''Eddy:''' "Look, it's Kevin. The usual spot there, dork?" [He signs his name, then speaks for Kevin, affecting an unnatural tone] "Sweet, Eddy! You're cool, man."\
'''Eddy:''' *kicks the cardboard replica of Kevin*
** Edd's response is funny as well:
--->'''Edd:''' "[[SarcasmMode Oh, please]]."
** The last scene in this episode tops it off...
--->[Rolf is shown coming into the house in the background sniffing the floor]\
'''Eddy:''' "So, bro; as you can see, I'm a big shot now. [[HarsherInHindsight No more beatin' up little Eddy, hey, big brother?"]]\
''(Rolf enters, using his nose to track down his chickens- which the Eds have stolen for the cardboard cutouts. [[OhCrap Edd shudders as he realizes this can only mean one thing]].)''\
'''Edd:''' Psst, Eddy! Rolf!\
'''Eddy:''' ''(unaware that Rolf is angrily standing behind him)'' Rolf? Did I forget to sign Rolf? There ya go, stretch. ''(signs Rolf's face)''\
'''Rolf:''' YOU HAVE VANDALIZED ROLF'S FACE, AND YOU HAVE- ''(Rolf lifts up the cardboard cut-out version of him and sees one of his chickens holding it up)'' And you have stolen Rolf's chickens yet again?! ''(Eddy backs away nervously. Rolf turns to Edd)'' Are you are stealing Rolf's soul with your film box?!\
'''Edd:''' Why, of course not, Rolf! What gave you that impression?\
'''Rolf:''' [[RageBreakingPoint Rolf will release his rage now!]]\
'''Eddy:''' Wait, we can work this out!\
''(Punching sounds are heard and Eddy is thrown into a wall, destroying the other cardboard kids in the process)''\
'''Rolf:''' Return Rolf's chickens!\
'''Ed:''' [running off] WAAAAAAHHHH!\
'''Rolf:''' RETURN THEM!\
[Rolf storms toward Ed and Eddy. Meanwhile, the chickens go berserk and one of them flies towards Edd]\
'''Edd:''' Shoo! Go away! Don't touch me! [Edd gets knocked over, and so does the camera]\
'''Rolf:''' Stop! I must punish you!\
'''Eddy:''' Mommy!\
'''Edd:''' I think your brother's got the picture, Eddy.\
'''Eddy:''' AAAAAAHHHHH!\
''(the camera's batteries die and shut off)''
* "Pain In The Ed" has a lot of funny moments too.
** Ed has to play the violin...rather badly... Eddy isn't happy about it at all.
---> '''Eddy''': Violins are for sissies! Now if I played an instrument, I'd get something manly, like a... kazoo or something. [[DefensiveWhat What?]]
** Eddy's "armpit hair" was such an EpicFail that even '''[[TheDitz Ed]]''' was able to see it was fake hair.
*** Kevin saying "The dork's faking puberty!"
*** Jonny making fun of Eddy's carpet hair.
*** Nazz was not impressed "That's so kindergarten."
*** Even though Edd told Eddy it was a bad idea to begin with, '''[[NotSoAboveItAll he of all people]]''' was wearing carpet fur as armpit hair and tries to take it off without Eddy noticing.
** Ed does his "position and pose" thing, and the ''second'' he finishes, Eddy trips him up and runs off with the violin.
** Ed playing the violin so badly that the trees peel, Kevin's bike breaks into pieces, and the violin notes hit Eddy in the face.
** Jimmy [[PaperThinDisguise disguises himself as an infant in a stroller while the Eds were walking down a road]], and then Eddy sneaks up behind Jimmy him while hiding behind the fence, and pulls the carriage containing Jimmy so hard Jimmy gets injured and you hear a little crash.
** Ed also says "Look at the size of that bird!" and the [[LaserGuidedKarma "bird" (really Jimmy) falls down the tree]].
** Some of Jimmy's {{paper thin disguise}}s come off as this. They include the aforementioned bird, a rabbit costume, and for some reason, a ''female'' sheepherder.
** Edd and Eddy being able to see through Jimmy's {{paper thin disguise}}s and yet Ed is unsurprisingly oblivious to them.
** Edd tripping and landing on the violin, causing it to break, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone and gasps at what he did]], while Eddy laughs at him.
** [[CampStraight Jimmy in a bunny costume and hopping like a rabbit]].
** Part of Edd's plan involves getting Jonny to run away blindly into a giant slingshot. Eddy achieves that this way:
---> '''Eddy:''' Hey porcupine, I'd like you to meet my pal, Sawtooth Cecil! ''[holds up a wood saw with a face drawn on it]''\
'''Jonny:''' [[OhCrap LOOK OUT, PLANK!]] ''[runs off]'' I'll save you, buddy! Back off, Sawtooth Cecil, you bully!
** Eddy's idea of a manly musical instrument is a kazoo.
** Ed using Eddy's hair as a new violin and it not sounding half bad.
** Honestly, Edd's protection of the violin is hilarious when he knows that Ed can't play well, like at all. He's be better off just letting Eddy smash it, if it wasn't for Sarah.
--> '''Edd:''' Eddy, Sarah's here.
** Followed by:
--> ''' Ed:''' Eddy, Sarah's here.
* Ed somehow gluing his head to a table in "Ed Overboard".
** Ed's cheerful acceptance of his own doom when the Kankers kidnap him to cheer up May.
---> '''Ed''': Welp, that's it for me!\
'''Lee''': You're coming with us, Ed!\
'''Ed''': Okie-dokie, ladies! A lesson in life I am sure to get!
** Edd helping Ed scrub off all the May+Ed graffiti May doodled on his upper body and coming across a bandaid on his back. When Edd pulls it off...
---> '''Edd''': Is that a ''cookie''?!\
'''Ed''': Yup, I've been saving it! *eats the cookie*\
'''Edd''': That has to be the most disgusting, irrational...*smiles* Nice to have you back Ed.
** Ed getting kidnapped AGAIN in the ending, this time by the Urban Rangers, as revenge for the Eds abandoning them to the Kankers while saving Ed. Eddy just throws his hands up and walks off with Edd begging the rangers to take Eddy instead.
** When Eddy is sworn into the Urban Rangers:
---> '''Eddy''': I'd swear but [[MediaWatchdog Standards]] [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall won't let me]]!
** Ed's "art".
---> '''Ed''': This one ''(a single pasta piece on a big splat of glue)'' is called "To Noodle or Not to Noodle" and this one ''(an identical piece)'' is called "No More For Me Please, I Am Russian"
** For some reason the Urban Rangers Guidebook has a reward for this exact situation, the "Free The Fool" medal.
* "One of Those Eds":
** The episode opens with Jonny going about his day until Eddy comes out of nowhere to attack him, before nonchalantly carrying him to his latest scam.
** The scam itself is a big mattress sale, with cheap products like a "half-off" bed (literally a mattress cut in half) and the "Ed Bed" ([[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Ed as a bed]]).
** Eddy leaves his shoe over the quarter stuck to the sidewalk while he gets the other Eds. Jimmy then finds the quarter and after failing to pick it up, puts his teddy bear over it while he gets Sarah. Kevin then does the same, this time leaving his hat. Enter Rolf, who tries to loosen the quarter by beating it with his shoe, then both shoes, then with Eddy's discarded shoe for "the merciless three-shoe beating." At the end, he spits out Eddy's shoe, leaving it over the quarter just in time for Eddy to arrive, as if nothing had happened to it.
** While everyone else fights over the quarter, Ed is fixated on Eddy's shoe. As more shoes get strewn about, Ed picks them all up for himself. The ending has Eddy chasing Ed for his own shoes.
--->'''Ed:''' Shoes for the taking, Double-D!
** When Jimmy tries to pull the quarter off the ground with an eyelash curler, he apparently manages to injure himself badly enough to require ''[[EpicFail a trip to the hospital]]''.
--->'''Kevin:''' "Eyelashes ain't the only thing that thing curls!"
** Rolf and the almighty three-shoe beating.
** Eddy's shovel of [[DoomyDoomsOfDoom doom]].
** The Eds construct an ''enormous'' crab-like machine with multiple digging arms, and spend all night using it to grab that dang quarter. Cut to the next morning where we see that after ''all'' that work, they had only dug a giant hole ''around the quarter''.
** The reason for why the quarter was irremovably stuck to the sidewalk, to the point that seemingly no force could remove it? Jonny was keeping his gum under it, because gum [[NauseaFuel "gum tastes better after a few days"]]. When he comes back for it, he easily peels it off and walks away. [[note]]In case you're curious, the term usually refers to soup. Soup normally tastes better after a few days. It can't possible affect chewing gum positively [[/note]]
* The entire episode "They Call Him Mr. Ed", including the gratuitous use of the word "up", Ed's cardboard elevator, and Edd and Eddy's reactions to espresso:
-->'''Edd:''' Well that was an ''up''turn for the worse.\
'''Eddy:''' I almost ''up''chucked!
** The bit where Ed carries something into the homemade elevator cartoon-style with ''one of him at each end'' and the part where he runs into the invisible barrier Double D set up before! Cartoon logic at its best, folks!
--->'''Ed:''' Forgot about the wall...
** Ed's DungeonBypass at the beginning of the episode.
--->'''Edd:''' Ed... Not that you'd understand the geometry involved in such an endeavor, but... That isn't how you go ''through'' a maze!\
'''Ed:''' Hang on, Double-D, I'll think of something.
** Double-D's "Labyrinth of Inevitable Despair".
--> '''Ed''': Za!
--> '''Edd''': Catchy, isn't it?
** This bit:
--->'''Edd''': Miss Nazz, page Jimmy for me, would you?\
'''Nazz''': ''(filing her nails)'' Sorry, Mr. D, but I'm up to my neck with filing.\
'''Edd''': ''(dryly)'' Of course you are.
** "Plank photocopied his butt!"
* At the beginning of "For the Ed, By the Ed," the Eds are seen guzzling sodas, along with belching from Ed and Eddy. The two then cajole Edd to join in... only for him to only be able to muster a quiet "Peep", despite several tries. (much to Eddy's amusement).
--> '''Ed''': There there, Double D, it's a lot to be ashamed of!
** This is funny enough, but then a few minutes later, Eddy declares that he wants an election to decide [[ItMakesSenseInContext the King of the Cul-de-Sac]]:
-->'''Edd:''' You do? Why, just the thought of implementing a democratic system within the confines of suburban living is--'''[[BrickJoke *BRAAAAAP!*]]'''
-->''(Poor Edd turns red with embarrassment)''
-->'''Ed:''' [[Film/ItsAWonderfulLife An angel just got its wings, Double D]].
** Plank "saves" Jimmy from a caterpillar the Kankers were tormenting him with (by falling between him and the completely harmless larva after getting launched into the Kankers and knocking them out). While Jimmy and Jonny laud Plank as a hero, Rolf has a different reaction.
--> '''Rolf''': A piece of wood saved you from three witches and a creepy crawly? *runs off screaming* MAMA!! THE FAIRY TALE THAT HAUNTS ROLF HAS COME TRUE!!
** The fact that Eddy's campaign for King of the Cul-De-Sac is a complete flop, despite his opponent being Plank. He's so unpopular that he loses against an inaminate, mindless object.
** Eddy asks Ed to dig up some dirt on Plank to get an edge in the election. Ed comes back with [[LiteralMinded a clump of actual dirt]]. By chance, there's a photo of Plank doing... [[NoodleIncident something or other]] buried in it, which the viewer is never shown, but everyone else treats like a huge scandal. Except Rolf.
--> '''Rolf''': Is not just a piece of wood?
** The election ends in a landslide victory for Plank, with only one vote for Eddy, one for Rolf ("Thank you!") and a half-eaten cookie. [[BookDumb Eddy still demands a recount and needs several minutes to figure out that Double D didn't vote for him.]]
* "Little Ed Blue"
** Edd: "Is it me, or is Jonny's vocabulary deteriorating?"
** Ed and Edd are raiding Ed's room for things to cheer him up with, and Eddy finds a magazine called "Chicks Galore". He thinks he's found Ed's PornStash... but the magazine turns out to have pictures of ''actual'' baby chickens.
--->'''Edd:''' I didn't know they ''had'' magazines like that...
** It's easy to miss, but when Plank flies through the air and accidentally taps Ed from behind, the latter turns ''only his head'' around a full 180° to angrily look back down at Plank.
** Ed slamming a comic book on Eddy's face, causing it to turn into a comic strip with him saying "Ow!" in the bottom panel.
** Apparently, [[MyLittlePanzer one of Ed's toys can]] ''[[MyLittlePanzer breathe fire]]'' just with a pull of the string!
---> '''Eddy:''' Nice toy!
** The ENTIRE reason why Ed was in a bad mood and went on a destructive rampage? A single rock in his shoe.
*** What's more, it was ''[[CompanionCube Plank]]'' who figured it out.
* "A Twist of Ed", which revolves around the Eds using reverse psychology on the Kankers to scare them off for good, has some truly great moments.
** At the start the Kankers each attack the Eds in their own equally hilarious ways:
*** Marie leaves her lipstick out for Double D to find. Once he realizes what it is, he [[OhCrap tenses up and glances around]], only for Marie to tackle him from behind and literally [[HumanKnot tie him into a knot so he won't escape]]. As she puckers up and leans in to kiss him her lips turn the screen red, as Double D screams [[TemptingFate "You wouldn't dare!"]] She ''does'' indeed dare.
*** Ed searches the cupboard for a spoon and pulls out various other utensils. He pulls out May on the [[RuleOfThree third attempt]] and [[FailedASpotCheck doesn't even notice her, tossing her aside as he pulls out the spoon]]. He finally notices her when she gives him a BearHug from behind and pulls him to the floor, pinning him. As she leans in towards him making a kissy face, Ed just stares at the approaching lips and screams [[GirlsHaveCooties "Girl germs!"]] in absolute horror.
*** Eddy wakes up from bed and walks into the shower half-asleep, while still wearing his clothes. The shower quickly overflows with water and Eddy notices some orange hair clogging the drain. He yanks the hair out to reveal Lee wearing goggles and a swimsuit. [[DelayedReaction It takes Eddy a few seconds to react to this]], only for Lee to [[EvilLaugh laugh at his efforts]] as she pulls him into a twisted ShowerOfLove.
** While hiding out in an abandoned truck in a junkyard, Ed and Eddy urge Edd to think of a solution. They start chanting "Think! Think! Think!", with Ed pounding the car horn as he does so.
--->'''Edd''': ''([[RageBreakingPoint snapping]])'' '''VERY WELL THEN!'''
** Ed starts by aggressively "flirting" with the Kankers. They are pleased at first before quickly becoming freaked out by his harassment.
---> '''Ed''': *goes down on one knee in front of May* May I have your hand in carriage? *kisses her hand, then sucks the whole thing into his mouth* […] LET’S MAMBO!! *grabs Lee and Marie in a passionate tango embrace, taping their hands to his backside, and leans down to grab a mouthful of dandelions like they were a rose*
---> '''Lee''': So down, Casanova, we ain’t cooked you dinner yet!
** When the Kankers flee across the creek in terror, Lee uses May as a raft and ''Marie'' as an oar.
** After the Kankers flee back to their trailer, Double D joins in.
---> '''Double D''': Welcome home my dainty, dowdy darlings! I have freshly laundered socks for each of my contemptuous cupcakes!\
'''Ed''': And I made my chicks pancakes! Ketchup? *sprays ketchup on the pancakes which forms an image of an eye, a heart and a U* See? Eye Love U! A poet I am!
** The fact that Edd went through all of the effort to label the Kankers' room.
** The Kankers' increasingly desperate attempts at escaping. They try to call the cops, only to find Ed with the receiver on his head.
---> '''Ed''': Dial me for love!
** The Kankers try to escape yet again, only to run into Edd toying with a flower while signing [[LovesMeNot she loves me, she loves me also]]. Then the Kankers run into Eddy. Cue ReactiveContinuousScream.
** The Kankers smashes through a wall, leaving an [[ImpactSilhouette imprint of their outline]], only for the camera to pan out and show Ed's outline on the wall, with huge puckered lips.
---> '''Ed''': (''flirty'') It's dark, huh huh huh!
** This line:
--->'''Edd''': I haven't had this much fun since Father let me disassemble his shaver!
** The Kankers eventually realize what the Eds are doing and lure them into their room with their own Reverse-Reverse Psychology. But unlike the Eds, who put on a convincing performance with their flirting, The Kankers [[BadBAdActing barely put in any effort to acting scared at all]] and the Eds still fall for it (at first).
** The episode ends with the Eds realizing too late they have been tricked, after Lee locks them in the Kankers bedroom, May pulls Ed into a closet, and Marie doesn't even try to hide her crush on Double D for more than 2 seconds before slowly approaching him.
--->'''Double D:''' (''flipping through his book'') Something's not right here! (''Marie suddenly appears between the pages'') Marie!?\
'''Marie:''' [[SarcasmMode Don't kiss me Double D!]]\
(''Marie giggles and approaches Double D with a love-struck smirk. He backs away sweating frantically'')\
'''Double D:''' [[ThisCannotBe This can't be!]] They've turned the tables on us, Eddy! IT'S A REVERSE-REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY!\
(''Marie grabs his face, making him pucker up, and chuckles evilly. She dips him and puckers up, preparing to kiss him. Around the room Lee is stepping on Eddy's center while holding him still by his hair and legs, and May sits on Ed's back, restraining his arms; both are also preparing to kiss the Eds'')\
'''Ed & Eddy:''' WE'RE TOO YOUNG!!! AHHHH!!\
(''Cut to outside the trailer and FadeToBlack as the Kanker's kissing can be heard'')
* In "Your Ed Here," [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDJrOiklSJ0 Kevin makes Eddy kiss Edd]] ''on the lips''. If you listen closely, you'll hear "nooo" and a "lock-and-load" sound effect before Eddy kisses Edd. Kevin and Nazz's reactions are funny too.
-->'''Eddy:''' Forgive me!
** Kevin making Eddy bark like a seal and play horns with his mouth, then throwing him a fish as a "reward."
** Eddy dressed up like Jimmy. That is all.
** Also, Ed "playing" TabletopGame/TicTacToe Double D.
---> "Aw, kitty cat go meow?"[[note]]Ed basically called Edd a pussy[[/note]].
** When Kevin reveals Eddy's middle name to everybody and the kids prepare to mock Eddy, you can't help but laugh at [[https://ibb.co/e6r6QS Kevin's facial expression here]].
* In "The Good Ol' Ed", in a fake flashback, Edd was suffering from an extreme case of hiccups, which Ed tried to cure by holding Edd's mouth open ''very'' wide and shouting '"''I AM A ZOMBIE, AND I WILL MALICE YOU WITH A SHOEHORN!''" into it.
** "Yeah, Double-Dee! An elephant never forgets, but [[{{Metaphorgotten}} I forget what the elephant remembered]]."
** Ed's reaction to the pancake batter being poured over the cul-de-sac kids: "IT'S A BOY!"
** Edd wonders what Nazz will remember of the Eds once she's older. Eddy replies, "That you looked like an idiot and how could she have let a hunk like me get away?". Pause, then Edd giggles.
** Eddy knocking Ed out with a giant fish angrily shouting “I hate clip shows!” after Ed starts reminiscing the episodes opening minutes. Then after Edd points out said fish is the one he used to duel with Rolf, Eddy chases him shouting “No more remembering!”
* In "Thick as an Ed" as Ed & Edd argue and [[VolleyingInsults volley insults]] over Ed's stinky lucky cheese chunk Sheldon. Ed keeps using the same insult to Edd. Finally, Eddy breaks it up.
-->'''Edd''': The point here is my hat ''doesn't'' smell.\
'''Ed''': Oh, yes, it does.\
'''Edd''': No, it does NOT. You're just saying that because I said your jacket stank."\
'''Ed''': Stinky hat!\
'''Edd''': You've got a repulsive, fermenting detachment of cheese in your pocket, Ed!\
'''Ed''': STINKY HAT!\
'''Edd''': ODIFEROUS CURDY COAT!\
'''Ed''': STINKY HAT!\
'''Edd''': RANCID ROQUEFORT WRAP!\
'''Ed''': STINKY HAT!\
'''Edd''': PUNGENT PARMESAN POCKET!\
'''Ed''': Oh, YEAH?! STINKY HAT!\
'''Edd''': ''COAT OF CANTANKEROUS CAMEMBERT!''\
'''Ed''': ''STINKY HAT!''\
'''Eddy''': '''[[BigShutUp SHUT UP!!!]]''' ''BOTH OF YOU!!!''
** The mere fact that ''EDDY'' is being the OnlySaneMan this time around.
** Ed getting his head stuck in the safety goggle strap.
---> '''Ed''': *sitting in the supply wagon* North to Alaska!
** Edd's increasingly desperate attempts at getting Ed's jacket off due to its horrendous smell, which at one point ends with him lodged INSIDE the jacket.
---> '''Ed''': Comfy?\
'''Edd''': FILTHY! CRUDDY! SMELLY! (''runs off-screen when the camera catches up to him, Edd has somehow set up a decontamination shower and a hazardous waste bin where he disposes of his tainted clothes, with a clean set on standby'')
** Eddy chasing Ed around the pond to take his jacket, with a horse racing horn playing.
** Eddy dressing Ed up as a female frog to trick him out of his jacket.
** After Eddy gets him to use his jacket as a flag, Ed salutes it ''with his foot''.
** Edd's reaction to the cheese touching him on his head is to turn into a pile of ashes.
** After FINALLY getting rid of Ed's "lucky cheese", by tossing it into the pond, which ends up killing the fish, it turns out that Ed also has [[HereWeGoAgain a rotting fish skeleton under his shirt]].
** The entirety of Ed's dream sequence.
--->'''Ed:''' (''coming out of a house drawn in crayon'') One two, tie my shoe! Three four, close the door! (''slams door, causing the whole house to fall down'') Five six, go grab some sticks! (''picks up some streetlamps and approaches a crayon version of Jonny'') Seven eight, lay them straight! (''slams the lamps onto Jonny'') Nine ten, a big fat hen! (''hugs a really huge chicken, which trumpets like an elephant for some reason and then flies off with Ed in tow, leaving two eggs behind, one of which Ed hatches from'') Eleven twelve-\
'''Eddy:''' ED! (''smacks him awake'') WAKE UP, STUPID!
** The episode is arguably even funnier in the Swedish dub, because "lucky cheese" (lyckans ost) is an actual slang term for someone with a lucky streak in Swedish. For that reason, the dub doesn't use the name "Sheldon" for the cheese chunk like in the original, Ed simply refers to it as his "lyckans ost".
* In "Sorry, Wrong Ed," when Rolf and the Eds are fighting over who gets to keep the cursed phone by throwing the phone, Ed's line is the funniest:
-->'''Ed''': Hot potato!
** Not to mention them tossing the phone around, ''with Double D still holding it''.
** [[RageBreakingPoint "Telephones aren't cursed, Eddy! They're PLASTIC!"]]
** Eddy's way of finally ridding himself of the phone? Gluing it to Jonny's head and running off.
*** When Eddy finds Jonny, he's waiting outside an outhouse with the door closed on his arm; He's waiting for Plank to come out.
*** Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the curse, as Jonny keeps answering the phone. And handing it over to Plank.
--->'''Jonny:''' Boy, Plank, you sure are a popular guy.
** Pretty much every single one of Ed's lines is comedy gold in this episode:
--->''[After a vinyl record flies past Ed and whacks Eddy in the head]''\
'''[[TeamMom Edd]]''': '''[[FullNameUltimatum Edward!]]'''\
'''Ed''': Yes, mommy?
** Then later:
--->''[Eddy gets sent flying by a spring in his bed then gets trapped in said spring]''\
'''Ed''': ''({{beat}})'' I know where you're going with this, Eddy! ''[climbs into Eddy's bed]'' Nighty night!
** And right after that:
--->''[An ice cream cart crashes onto Eddy]''\
'''Ed''': ''[takes the phone]'' Eddy's in pain now, [[ComicallyMissingThePoint he'll have to call you back]]!
** Eddy's [[ThisIsGonnaSuck expression]] as the ice cream cart plummets in his direction.
** '''''[[AnimalStampede "HIPPOS?!?!?!"]]'''''
** After Double D's RageBreakingPoint mentioned above:
--->'''Edd''': Calm down, Double D! Think ocean waves! Sea mammals! Arias...\
'''Ed''': Was that your dark side, Double D?
** And lastly:
--->''[A tree lands on Eddy from out of nowhere]''\
'''Ed:''' Good morning, tree!
* "Robbin' Ed". All of it.
** Edd's BadBadActing in the "infomercial" for the Thing-a-ma-jig, and later when posing as a customer for Eddy's "new butts" scam in order to bait Jonny's superhero alter-ego Captain Melonhead.
--->'''Edd:''' Hold your ''hor-ses''! This butt's been ''used''!
** Edd gushes about Captain Melonhead heroically clobbering Eddy and returning their money to the kids Eddy had scammed. Eddy responds to this by ''stuffing Edd into his empty quarter jar''.
** After Eddy lures Jonny in, he goes behind the stand and starts stripping to get into his Professor Scam costume. After a beat, he realized he took off his underwear by mistake and grabs it back.
** Eddy becoming a supervillain under the guise of Professor Scam to combat Captain Melonhead. At one point, he's going to flee in his escape balloon but spends so much time gloating about his escape that it floats away before he can get on. His OhCrapSmile sells it.
** The ridiculous costumes Eddy makes Double D and Ed wear as his henchmen, basically just underwear and socks with domino masks and a cardboard cent coin attacked to their foreheads.
** Captain Melonhead ends up saved from getting dunked in gravy by Ed (AKA "Average Joe").
* ''Everything'' Ed and Eddy do to [[BullyingADragon torment the grounded Kevin]] in "A Case of Ed". Words alone can't do them justice, but the highlights are:
** Eddy using a pool cue chalk on his finger before ringing the doorbell.
** Eddy using a fishing pole to pull off Kevin's clothes through his mail slot.
** Ed drawing faces on his toes and "performing" in front of Kevin's window.
** Eddy ''mooning'' Kevin. Kevin's reaction is funny enough but Ed tops it with an absolute GEMSTONE of a line:
--->'''Ed''': Oh ho, [[StealthPun I am turning into a werewolf]], Eddy!
** And the big finale? ''[[RefugeInAudacity Building an entire brick wall around Kevin's house!]]''
--->'''Kevin''': ''(in total darkness)'' [[{{Understatement}} Okay,]] ''[[{{Understatement}} now]]'' [[{{Understatement}} I'm mad...]]
** A bit on the BlackComedy side, but when Edd is tricked into believing he's about to expire, he asks Ed how long he has...
--->'''Edd''': Tell me the truth, doctor! How long am I for this world?\
'''Ed''': Um... 'till lunch?\
''(Edd sports the '''biggest''' OhCrap expression imaginable as the background turns blood red)''
** When Double D thinks he's dying, he wills his various possessions to the other kids. When Rolf responds with his usual comical FunnyForeigner routine, Double D breaks down crying.
---> '''Edd''': Oh Rolf, ''you're so uneducated!'' *weeps miserably*
** Double D's LargeHam moment when he confronts Ed and Eddy for fooling him into thinking he has a deadly disease.
---> '''Edd''': [[SuddenlyShouting ARE YOU PROUD OF YOURSELVES?]]\
'''Eddy''': Hang on there, Hamlet. ''(laughs)''\
'''Ed''': Too rich, huh Double Dee?\
'''Edd''': [[NoIndoorVoice LISTEN TO ME!]]\
'''Eddy''': How can we not?\
'''Edd''': ''(holds up "kick me" sign)'' This was found on my body! You had me believe I was expiring! ''(glares)''
** When Kevin gets out early for good behavior and prepares to deliver some LaserGuidedKarma, Eddy and Ed retreat to the former's home and lock the door in order to attempt a KarmaHoudini. However, [[KickTheDog their tormenting of]] [[BewareTheNiceOnes Double D]] [[TheDogBitesBack becomes their undoing when he hands Eddy's spare house key to Kevin]]. The following scene with Eddy and Ed dancing and laughing only to be joined in by Kevin whom the two don't even notice is there immediately is pretty hilarious.
* "Run For Your Ed" gives us a handful of hilarious moments:
** "[[MemeticMutation Rolf's giant wiener will catch a pretty penny at the market, yes, Victor?]]"
** Kevin's completely deadpan reaction to finding a slumbering Ed in his now-empty refrigerator:
---> '''Kevin:''' (Opening the fridge door to show Edd and Eddy) I believe ''this'' belongs to you?\
'''Eddy:''' (Proceeds to laugh hysterically)\
'''Edd:''' Oh, Ed! [[CallBack Sleepwalking again??]]
** Followed immediately by Eddy deciding to use an air horn to wake Ed up, and the big guy's rambling upon waking up.
---> '''Ed:''' Private Do-Not-Enter is ready for duty, chief! (Salutes and whacks himself in the head with the ship-in-a-bottle now stuck on his finger)
** The Eds' attempts to get the aforementioned ship-in-a-bottle off Ed's finger, including soap (which doesn't end well thanks to Ed's irrational fear of the "disgusting detergent of the deep") and [[ItMakesSenseInContext sticky tape.]]
** While ''that's'' going on, the Kankers are trying to find the ship-in-a-bottle themselves. Mass chaos ensues.
---> '''Jimmy''': I'm scarred for life!
** When the Kankers finally track the bottle to the Eds, Double D stares at them blankly for a moment, looks back at Ed and Eddy in the other room as they try to remove it, then back to the Kankers. Without saying a word, he calmly closes the door on the Kankers, locks and bolts it for good measure...and then:
--->'''Edd:''' (Screaming as he runs into the next room) OH, DEAR ''LORD!'' THAT SHIP-IN-A-BOTTLE BELONGS TO THE ''KANKERS!!''\
'''Eddy''': ''[[OhCrap KANKERS?!]]'' [[DirtyCoward EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!!]]\
'''Ed''': WHO?! WHAT?! WHERE?! WHY?!
** [[LateToTheRealization "I think that was the Kankers' ship-in-a-bottle Eddy."]]
** Also, after all that, the Kankers remove the bottle with a simple twist, then leave without molesting the Eds for once. Double D is genuinely confused that things worked out so well. [[HereWeGoAgain Eddy then discovers that his finger has gotten stuck in the sink faucet]]. While Edd goes to get some soap, Ed suggests bringing '''''the Kankers...''''' The cherry on top of the latter is that Ed's reasoning is surprisingly logical for him; "They are wizzes at stuck fingers".
* Eddy impersonating several of the Cul-de-Sac kids at the beginning of "Stiff Upper Ed."
-->'''Eddy:''' ''(Dressed as Nazz)'' That's so totally radi-cool. ''(Cocks hip and runs off)''\
'''Eddy:''' ''(Comes back dressed as Kevin, with a cardboard box on his head dressed to resemble Kevin's)'' Looks like a hoot, and only a quarter to boot. ''(Runs off)''\
'''Eddy:''' ''(Comes back dressed as Sarah)'' I wanna try, I wanna try! How bout you, Jimmy?\
''(Eddy bends over and turns around to show he's painted Jimmy's face on the seat of his pants)''\
'''Eddy:''' Tee-hee, I'm so [[StealthPun cheeky]], I'd pay a quarter!
** Edd suggests the Eds can get into Sarah's "Rich Club" by dressing like grandparents, because "[[ComicallyMissingThePoint Grandparents are rich in experience, and have a wealth of knowledge!]]" Even [[TheDitz Ed]] can see what a ridiculous idea that is.
--->'''Ed:''' Oh, oh, let me Eddy! (''to Edd'') That is stupid, Double D.
** Ed [[EpicFail managing to sink a fake cardboard yacht]]. The music in the background sounds similar to "Rule Britannia."
** Rolf's ridiculous outfit as "The Duke of Belly-Meats".
** In the end, the Eds are finally invited to the Rich Club... as servants. Eddy, however, is deeply in denial.
--->'''Eddy:''' I just figured something out, Double D! Being rich ain't that different from being a two-bit servant! Ain't life grand?
*** Kevin orders Ed to tie his shoe. This backfires when Ed gets tangled up in his shoelaces.
* The end of "Here's Mud In Your Ed"
-->'''Edd''': An iris-in would be appropriate, don't you think?\
''(The scene irises-in on Eddy's plant)''\
'''Edd''': ''(haughtily)'' Thank you.
** As the Eds try to scam Rolf back, Edd is in the bathroom, so Ed brings a puppet version of him instead. Edd is not amused when he returns.
--->'''Double D:''' Well, well, well. Seems one cannot tend to their natural functions without being [[SuddenlyShouting REPLACED BY SOME RAGTAG HAND PUPPET!]]
* Eddy is unable to come up with a scam in "Stuck in Ed", so he has Jimmy come up wit one. Jimmy's "Scammy-whammy" consists of making giant ice pops using refrigerators filled with juice. Eddy thinks it's stupid and rejects it in favor of a "Here's your hat size" scam, then watches as Jimmy makes a fortune from the ice pops.
** Ed is supposed to get extension cords for Jimmy's scam, but after all the other ingredients have been gathered, everyone wonders where Ed is. Cut to Ed dragging the cords, which are still attached to the appliances... which are stuck between two trees; Ed has been walking in place for hours and hadn't even noticed.
* "Postcards From the Ed" introduces Plank's parents, who have come to visit. Jonny entrusts Ed to watch over them, but Eddy decides to play tour guide and steals Mr. and Mrs. Plank away from Ed. the result: Eddy runs his fake bus under the monkey bars, which ''cut off the parent's "heads"''. When Jonny returns, he tells Eddy that "Plank knows people!" The episode ends on the Eds clinging to a tree, surrounded by planks with tough looking faces drawn on. Eddy insists they're not real, but Ed is too scared to let them down.
** The opening scam involves a fake Sphinx made of cardboard boxes. it's all very impressive... until Ed sneezes and the entire structure is blown away.
*** Ed as the mummy of King Tukyourshirtin.
* Old Rolf in "Take this Ed and Shove It."
-->'''Rolf:''' ''(To Eddy)'' Hello, Kevin.\
'''Eddy:''' Huh? I'm not Kevin.\
'''Rolf:''' Who is this Kevin you speak of? (Beat) '''ROLF'S TRACTOR IS NOT FOR SALE!'''\
([[GilliganCut Rolf's old, rusty, beaten up tractor is shown, with a For Sale sign next to it]])\
(Cut back to Rolf, staring angrily at Eddy. Rolf steps back smiling, but then suddenly grabs Eddy)\
'''Rolf:''' YOU FOOL! ''(Rolf sets Eddy down on top of a morbidly obese Wilfred)'' Rolf does not love you, Nazz girl.\
'''Eddy:''' Okay.\
'''Rolf:''' YOU TAUNT ROLF'S TURNIP, JONNY THE WOOD BOY?! GET OFF ROLF'S PROPERTY BEFORE ROLF GETS HIS BEATING STICK!
** From the same episode, the Eds observe Kevin showing off his new "facial hair" (a single, pathetic hair on his chin) to Rolf, who just laughs, and tears off his shirt, to reveal his whole back is covered with body hair, much to Kevin's disgust.
--->'''Kevin''': ''I'm gonna heave!!''\
'''Ed''': ROLF MUTATED!

* From "Every Which Way But Ed":
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyrzaoxgpwc Zappity zap zap!]]
*** Someone in the comments on [=YouTube=] pointed out that, given the number of houses that get destroyed in the series, everyone must have really good insurance. A demonstration of a claim results in [[ARareSentence the rare and beautiful sentence]] 'Static electricity destroyed the house and we have the bunny slippers to prove it.'
** When Ed tries to eat the jawbreaker Eddy stole from Jonny, Eddy instead plants a skunk into Ed's mouth.
--->'''Ed:''' ''(tearing up)'' Spicy.
** The palpable confusion that occurs when the Eds appear in Rolf's flashback in the Old Country after he hijacked Nazz & Kevin's flashback who hijacked Jonny's flashback who hijacked Eddy's.
--->'''Eddy:''' How the heck'd we get ''here!?''
** Also Rolf swinging around and singing in his native language counts. Bonus points for the fact that while the other kid's flashbacks had some story to them, Rolf's doesn't.
** Eddy speaking aloud while disguised as Plank; Jonny doesn't suspect a thing, even when "Plank" accidentally puts his head in his mouth!
** After Nazz reveals she's FormerlyFat, we see Kevin's flashback which is implied to take place further back than the others. Problem is, they show this by giving Kevin a mullet and talking TotallyRadical slang, which makes even less sense once you realize all the kids are still the same age as the present in the flashback.
* In "Cleanliness is Next to Edness", Ed wakes Eddy up for school and they go to Double-D's house to wake up him up (by way of throwing Ed's shoe at his bedroom window). Double-D then reveals to his friends that it's actually Saturday--when Eddy looks at the calendar to confirm this, he gets angry and berates Ed for waking him up for nothing. Ed defends himself by claiming that his belly told him it was Bottomless Gravy Day. Ed whacks his belly with a flyswatter, yelling "Bad belly!" Eddy proceeds to grab the swatter and whack Ed on his head, driving him into the ground.
--> '''Eddy''': YOUR ''HEAD'S'' BOTTOMLESS!
** Later, Ed is constantly trying to apologize to Eddy. Eddy doesn't really care at that point and just wants to sleep in. Eventually, Eddy tapes what's obviously supposed to be a dirty magazine to the window and tells Ed to "stay". What ''really'' makes this one hilarious, however, is the fact that Ed gets ''[[CovertPervert the biggest, widest grin on his face]]'' while looking at said magazine. (Though it could also just be a really sheepish grin since Eddy called him a "weekend wrecker" right after taping over his face.) Of course, then ''Edd'' shows up asking to use Eddy's shower, due to his own being remodeled. Eddy ends up throwing him out of his room.
** At the end of the episode, we get a small peak of [[CloudCuckooLander Ed's]] take on a "shower". He drops Double D in a tub of water, [[NoodleImplements then he breaks out a cheese grater.]]
---> '''Ed''': Let's get that custard out of your belly button, mister!\
'''Eddy''': Wait, Ed! Let me get a camera!
* In "Out With the Old, In With the Ed" when Rolf broke down Edd's door with an '''''AXE,''''' and the kids stampeded away with Edd's school supplies.
** The fact that Edd [[SkewedPriorities is less concerned with that and more concerned with the fact that they didn't wipe their feet when they entered]].
** Eddy's [[ExpressiveShirt expressive apron]].
* The end of "I am Curious Ed", when the Eds have failed to explain to Jimmy and Sarah where babies come from, Ed delivers this gem of a line:
--> '''Ed''': There there, Double D, it is not your fault you are so [[InnocentlyInsensitive useless!]]"
** The fact he delivers this line whilst smiling is hilarious.
** Ed picking up Eddy by the scruff of his neck with his teeth and ''flying'' over his house to drop him down the chimney.
** Edd's reaction is to pull up a chair, get out a notepad and pen and ask how Ed did that.
* In "No Speak Da Ed," Eddy attempting to buy jawbreakers with foreign money. He gets thrown out of the candy store, along with his money. It apparently never occurred to Eddy to get the currency exchanged to USD. He got the money scamming his school-mandated penpal from Korea, so presumably, the money he got was either North Korean or South Korean WON, it's not specified which. Granted, neither is worth much compared to the dollar, but considering the amount he got, it should be worth a few bucks atleast.
** Later, Rolf kidnaps Ed and his friends when they try to save him, and tortures Ed all night to make him reveal what he knows. The problem is Ed knows nothing ''and'' [[TooKinkyToTorture he isn't phased at all by the torture]] (which is being repeatedly dunked in an unpleasant mixture). It goes on all night and yet by the end of it, ''[[PityTheKidnapper Rolf]]'' [[PityTheKidnapper seems to be the one who was tortured]].
--->(as a still image of outside goes through phases of the day/night cycle)\
'''Rolf''': (mad) Talk Ed-Boy!\
'''Ed''': Hi Rolf!\
'''Rolf''': (mad) Talk I say!\
'''Ed''': Hi Rolf!\
'''Rolf''': (tired) Talk, you son-of-a-gun!\
'''Ed''': Hi Rolf!\
'''Rolf''': (begging) Please, talk.\
'''Ed''': Hi Rolf!\
'''Rolf''': (exhausted) [[WorthyOpponent The Ed-boy's fortitude is to be admired]].\
'''Ed''': Hi Rolf!
* "Cool Hand Ed" begins with the Eds sitting through another day of class. Eddy, bored out of his mind, glances around the classroom, and notices that Ed for some reason has a ''chicken leg'' stuck to the back of his head. Eddy's "WTF?" expression really sells it.
** Immediately after, Ed scratches his neck with his ''tongue!''
** Double D's... lackluster performance in gym class. He can't do a single situp or pullup, and can't even budge the smallest dumbbell weights. That last part even has Ed and Eddy staring at him like they're thinking "seriously, dude?"
** While Jonny collects utensils from the cafeteria for Edd's escape plane, Plank is wearing a do rag.
* "Who's Minding the Ed?" had this (yes, it's yet ANOTHER Ed moment):
-->'''Ed:''' Ski party a go-go! '' *Ed and Rolf's animals are on a sled, going down the stairs to Ed's room, Victor bleats* '' Hot cocoa and potato salad! Who's with me?!
** In the same vein at the end of "Too Smart For His Own Ed:"
--->'''Ed:''' Cookies at my house, Double-D! With lots of mayonnaise!\
'''Edd:''' That's... not really necessary, Ed.
** Rolf crushing Eddy behind a front door after opening it ''backwards'' (as in, he ''pulls out the hinges'' along with it instead of bothering to use the doorknob).
---> '''Rolf''': ROLF HAS RETURNED!\
'''Eddy''': *sounds of pain*\
(''Rolf lifts the door to look at Eddy.'')\
'''Rolf''': Hello, he-who-resembles-a-swollen-thumb Ed-boy. (''slams the door on Eddy again'')
** Ed's {{Ocular Gusher|s}} moment at the end when he finds out that Rolf has already picked up his animals. He cries so much it drenches Eddy and forces Double D to pull out an umbrella.
** At the end, Eddy finally has enough of Ed's neediness and Double D's incessant nagging.
---> '''Eddy''': WHAT ABOUT MY DIFFICULT TIME OF HAVING YOU ON MY BACKS THROUGH THIS WHOLE SHOW?!!
* [[CarFu Sarah hitting Nazz with a car]] in "Truth or Ed", by which we mean she picks up a car [[{{Hammerspace}} out of nowhere]] and slams it onto her.
** If the headline near the end of the episode is by any indication, the car Sarah used belonged to the school principal, forcing him to ride on the bus.
** Edd recruits Ed into helping with the school newspaper.
--->'''Edd:''' Are you ready to take that first step into the exciting world of journalism?\
'''Ed:''' [[LiteralMinded As long as I don't get any on my shoes, Double D.]] My mom's got new carpets.
** Eddy's reaction to the lackluster contents of the school newspaper.
--->'''Eddy:''' Where's the scandal?! ''That's'' what sells papers!\
'''Ed:''' (''[[ExtremeOmnivore chewing on a sandal]]'') Yep, because sandals are baked fresh daily, Double D.\
'''Eddy:''' ...Ignore him, [[MediumAwareness just stick to the script]].
** When the Bobby Blabby column claims they found the lost city of Atlantis up Jonny's nose, Rolf just has to check and see for himself.
--->'''Rolf:''' Rolf sees no city, only darkness and sesame seeds.
** Ed [[AccidentalMisnaming just can't get Eddy's "Bobby Blabby" moniker right]], which eventually culminates in [[AccidentalPublicConfession Eddy accidentally exposing his identity in front of all the kids he slandered]].
---> '''Ed''': ''[after Eddy spills all the quarters he was hiding]'' You dropped your loot, Bibby Boo-Boo.\
'''Eddy''': IT'S BOBBY BLABBY! GET IT RIGHT! ''[covers his mouth realizing he gave himself away]'' Oops.
** The fake story Eddy made up about Sarah; "Ed's Baby Sister Part of a Secret Chimp Foghorn Race!"
---> '''Jimmy''': Wow, just when you think you know someone!
* The episode "All Eds Are Off" where The Eds, Jonny, Kevin and Rolf all give up their various addictions and personality quirks for a bet (Eddy gives up yelling, Ed gives up gravy, Edd gives up using needlessly advanced words, Kevin gives up using the word "dorks", Rolf gives up meat and Jonny gives up having Plank tell him what to do). ''None of them lasts longer than Lunch''!
** Poor Double D really has to ''strain'' himself to use simpler words than what he's used to. He finally breaks down when Eddy vandalizes a dictionary.
** Poor Ed goes through gravy withdrawal and actually becomes violent when offered mashed potatoes without gravy. It's treated exactly like drug withdrawal, including incessant scratching and mood swings.
** Rolf is reduced to skin and bones just by going without meat for about 4 hours and becomes so weak he can't bite through a stalk of celery.
** When Kevin finally snaps, he throws his football at Eddy (slamming him into the wall), then shouts various permutations of the word "DORK!" at him. Then Kevin cracks his neck and walks away, saying "Man, that felt good..."
** Jonny completely falls apart without Plank bossing him around, incapable of making even the simplest decision on his own, not even choosing between two sandwiches in the cafeteria. He finally loses his patience & headbutts Eddy after the latter makes conversation with Plank.
** After all that, Ed ends up winning on a technicality. Eddy tempts him with what he thinks is a large canister of gravy, and when Ed jumps him, Eddy claims victory and begins screaming again, only for Ed to surface and reveal it's actually butterscotch pudding - which he is severely allergic to. So good news, he won the 1.25$ they were betting (which he plans on [[HereWeGoAgain spending on more gravy]]). Bad news, he's bloated up like roadkill in the sun.
* On "Smile For The Ed", Eddy will get his brother's room if he takes a good class picture. So he dresses his best, combs his hair, and wears a "Mom" button and holds a "Go, Mom!" banner for good measure. But just as the picture is taken, Kevin calls out "Dork!", and the photo captures Eddy's shocked expression instead.
** To add insult to injury, Kevin makes copies of the photo to torment Eddy. Eddy has all the copies hidden in his locker... along with the copier, still spitting out copies. This results in [[ExplodingCloset the locker bursting open]] at the end of the episode, flooding the whole school.
** Fortunately for Eddy, Double D is part of the photography club, and can retake Eddy's picture. Unfortunately, Kevin ruins it again by holding the bad picture in front of the camera.
** As a last resort, Ed draws his own picture of Eddy with crayon. Eddy is just desperate enough to take it and try to pass it off as his class picture. Double D is sure it won't fool anyone, as "[[LampshadeHanging the lines are all wiggly.]]"
* At the end of "Run Ed Run", the Eds somehow manage to break the sky and cause pieces of it to fall off ([[ItMakesSenseInContext don't ask]]). While Ed is freaking the heck out and desperately trying to both tape the sky back together and hide from Eddy's wrath, Double D is examining the pieces of sky and gushing over what he considers to be an amazing scientific discovery.
** The episode begins with Jonny staring at a hole on a tree. Next time we see him, he's gotten his head stuck on the hole. When he boards the bus, he's still got a section of the tree on his head.
** Jimmy and Sarah come back to the school trip to the jawbreaker factory stuffed full of jawbreakers. Sarah is sick to her stomach and throws up on poor Eddy as the episode ends.
* Eddy finds out in "A Town Called Ed" that his ancestors founded Peach Creek, so he crosswires Kevin's TV so they can broadcast a recreation, which ends with Eddy demanding 300 years' worth of back rent. Kevin reroutes the wire to the Kankers' trailer, which the Eds only find out when they pull the wire and drag the trailer to the Cul de Sac.
** Then the Kankers reveal the horrible truth -- that Eddy's ancestors lost the land to the Kankers, making them the real owners. They demand 300 years of back rent in the form of "kisses and smooches."
** Ed got a line of lockers balanced on his head. He leaves the school dragging the whole thing until it gets caught on the fence.
* "A Fistful Of Ed" has quite a bit, despite being something of a TearJerker episode due to how miserable Ed and Edd end up for most of it. One of the funniest moments is Ed temporarily replacing Edd with a painted egg he calls [[CompanionCube Double G]].
--> '''Ed as Double G''': I, Double G, am gentle, unlike that nasty Double D! Shall we talk about fossils and dishsoap?\
'''Ed''': *at the verge of tears* Double D used to talk about dish soap ''ALL THE TIME!!''
* "May I Have This Ed" (effectively the series finale, not counting The Movie).
** The Ed's reaction to the school dance. Eddy is convinced that they're going to be the kings of the dance, with the help of the datebook his brother left him, while Double D is falling apart with adolescent anxiety. Ed doesn't seem to care much either way.
** Even Double D can tell that Eddy's book is really out of date (the slang used in it seems to date back to the 1950s).
** Double D's increasingly desperate attempts at escaping Eddy's "training".
** The opening scene where Eddy and Ed are fighting over a donut and ends up trashing half the hallway lockers.
** For all his bravado, Eddy unravels like a cheap rug at the dance, and ends up trying to hide in the ''punchbowl'', where Kevin finds him.
---> '''Kevin''': WHOA! I almost drank dork-ade!! I'm gonna heave!!!
** Eddy getting punched in the face by Kevin after the former mocks him.
---> '''Eddy:''' Ha! Way to get burned, Shovelhead.
** Ed dancing with Rolf's pig Wilfred, and Rolf getting angry about it.
---> '''Rolf''': You must first ask permission if you wish to shimmy-shake the swine!
** The ending has Rolf, who is wearing a pufferfish costume, being shoved and ends up rolling on the floor, picking up everyone and tearing the gym apart. The Eds manage to escape and watch as the entire school falls in a heap.
--->'''Ed:''' NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! [Eddy grins from ear to ear]
* "Watch Before You Ed" has Double D and Jimmy form a safety club. Needless to say, no one is safe when Ed and Eddy are part of the club.
** Ed calling himself "Hibachi Man" after mistaking his breath condensation for smoke.
** Jimmy is so PatheticallyWeak he can't even make a snow angel.
** Edd tries to save Sarah and Nazz from falling through thin ice... in a frozen puddle barely two square feet in area.
** Edd makes a deicer to clear pathways. Eddy uses it to make ketchup snow cones.
** The ending has the Eds trapped in a cage made of an upturned dumpster and icicles for bars. Eddy, who needs to go to the bathroom, tries to lick away the bars, but ends up [[TongueOnTheFlagpole freezing his tongue]]. it's Hibachi Man to the rescue, but in trying to melt the ice bars with his breath, Ed ends up blowing Eddy outside, with his tongue still stuck. [[PottyFailure And he doesn't need to use the bathroom anymore.]]
* Eddy despises the fact his parents enjoy giving him nothing but clothes for Christmas (possibly as punishment for being a brat). In the Christmas special, he raids his Christmas stash early, takes great pains to carefully open his first gift without leaving any hints that he was there, and is incredulous when he finds not just clothes, but:
--> '''Eddy''': A ''dickie??'' They still make these??
** After ''[[BerserkButton that]]'', he ''shreds'' every gift open like a demented raccoon, not caring if he gets in trouble, probably to let his folks know he's not on board with this treatment anymore.
** Ed gets ready for Santa's arrival by dragging the whole chimney to his bedroom.
** Jonny's family celebrates Christmas by putting all the snow in their yard inside. Jonny plays Jack Frost (with Plank as "Mister Snowflake") and literally nips Eddy on the nose.
** Eddy almost gets to spend Christmas with Nazz, until her talking about kissing under the mistletoe causes him to [[SpitTake spit all his eggnog on her face]].
** The ending has the Eds crashing into Rolf's barn, creating a parody of the Nativity scene, with Eddy in a manger, Edd dressed as an angel hanging from the roof and Ed dressed as a shepherd. In come the Kankers dressed like the Three Wise Men, bringing gifts of "mold, franks and cents, and fur."
* In "[[Recap/EdEddNEddysHankyPankyHullabaloo Hanky Panky Hullabaloo]]," when Eddy is behind his kissing booth, he puckers up his lips, only to find Kevin instead of another girl (Kevin is there to give him an infraction because his booth blocking off the lockers).
--> '''Eddy''': In your dreams!
** [[HoYay/EdEddNEddy Eddy's only other customer? Ed]].
** Among the many pairings the cherubs unwittingly create, the two that stand out are Ed falling in love with a sandwich, and Eddy falling in love with [[CompanionCube Plank]].
** At the end, Ed sums up what he's learned from the experience: "Love is like an onion, Double D: The more you peel away its layers, the more it stinks."
* Jonny's [[EpicFail spectacularly botched]] attempt to drop in through Rolf's chimney in "The Eds Are Coming".
** The fact that some of the kids are wearing potato chips and tater tots as armor.
** Ed reciting a passage from a science fiction magazine as Edd leafs through his notes looking for evidence of Ed's claim.
** Nazz slapping Edd after he apologizes for using her as bait for the aliens.

* ''All'' of "Sugar, Spice and Ed".
** Part of Eddy's disguise includes a ''bra'' worn on top of a 1950's style yellow dress. And he's the most ''tastefully'' dressed!
--->'''Ed''': ''(looking like he'd ''eaten'' the lipstick rather than applied it)'': You girls simply have to try this lipstick! It's to ''die'' for!\
'''Edd''': ''(wearing a skimpy skirt and an even skimpier strapless top with chunky boots)'' I don't have the ''thighs'' to pull off this dress!
** Eddy's attempts to "seduce" Kevin for a jawbreaker. On the first attempt, Eddy comes on too strong and a freaked-out Kevin retreats into his garage.
--->'''Eddy''': '''Wait!''' Don't play ''hard to get'', sugar lips! ''[[TheDoorSlamsYou He smashes into Kevin's garage door]]''.
** He attempts the ShowSomeLeg routine by sticking a dummy leg with a high heel on it in front of Kevin's basement window where the boy is sweeping the floor.
** Eddy sees Rolf carrying Ed over his shoulder.
--->'''Rolf''': Never before has Rolf lifted a female with shoddier face paint than Nana!
** Meanwhile Jonny 2X4 is chasing Edd down the street.
--->'''Edd''': ''(trying to hold down his skirt)'' I'm ''not'' that kind of ''girl'', Jonny!\
'''Jonny''': Come on, you ''hot tomato'', you! Me an' plank wanna show you my splinter collection!\
'''Edd''': ''Please!'' I have ''no interest'' in your splinters! ''I CAN'T RUN IN THESE SHOES!!''
** Meanwhile Eddy is watching the scene, acting for all the world like a golddigger.
--->'''Eddy''': Sheesh! They're gonna get spoiled rotten and I'm gonna get ''squat!'' What's a gal gotta do to get some attention around here?
** Eddy needing to part his wig to show the "idea lightbulb" above his head.
** At the end:
--->'''Edd''': I can't believe I had my ears ''pierced''! Father will be most upset...
** The fact that Edd went through the effort to have his ears pierced for his disguise is funny in itself: Eddy just had clothes pegs for makeshift earrings.
* Eddy using Edd's ''teeth'' to finally pry off the anti-cavity machine in "A Spoonful of Ed".
** Seeing that Ed has eaten all the jawbreakers, Eddy rips up a ''lamppost'' and prepares to brain him with it.
* "A Load of Ed":
** At the beginning, Eddy is trying to think of a scam, but a flipping noise distracts him.
--->'''Eddy''': ''Can you keep it down? I'm trying to think of a scam over here!''\
'''[[DeadpanSnarker Edd]]''': Silly me, playing something so disruptive as ''solitaire''.
** Ed drenching Edd in fire extinguisher foam.
** While Ed is incapacitated:
--->'''Edd''': At any rate, we had best let you rest! A rested white blood cell is a hardworking white blood cell.\
''(Eddy snaps a rubber band at Edd's head)''\
'''Eddy''': Who can ''rest'' with your mouth flapping a mile a minute?
** Sarah throwing Ed on top of the other Eds.
--->'''Edd''': [[OhCrap Merciful heavens...]] ''(Smunch)''
* Edd's gleeful grin in "Enchanted Ed-Land" when Ed introduces his friends to "Lizards and Wizards".

--->'''Eddy''': Ladies first!\
'''Edd''': ''(deadpan)'' ''Very'' witty.
** Ed gives Eddy a double-ended wand as a weapon for the game.
--->'''Eddy''': This rots. I look like a male cheerleader.
* Poor Edd being used as a ticket vendor after [[LoopholeAbuse Ed and Eddy use his personal space invention to their advantage]] in "Look, but Don't Ed".
* "Dive! Dive! Ed!"
** Eddy once again says his line from "Honor Thy Ed":
--->'''Eddy''': All I see is dark. Lots and lots of dark.
** Jimmy sings ''Film/SinginInTheRain'' and recalls his line from "Avast Ye Eds", only this time he's unable to recall who was in ''Singin' in the Rain'':
--->'''Jimmy''': Just like Errol Flynn, Sarah!\
'''Sarah''': I think you mean Fred Astaire, Jimmy!
** When Rolf throws [[ForeignQueasine his lunch]] out of the cardboard box, it hits Jimmy on the head.
--->'''Sarah''': Jimmy? Are you OK?\
'''Jimmy''': Darn musical theater critics!
* The "Jawbreaker Tree" smashing Eddy's head in "A Tree Grows in Ed".
** Edd recalling the "money tree" Rolf and Jimmy duped Eddy with in "Here's Mud in Your Ed".
* After Eddy accidentally pelts Kevin with a celery pellet in "Green Eds and Ham":
-->'''Eddy''': I didn't see him there! Honest! I thought he left after Page One!

* In "Last Nail in the Edhouse", Ed sticks his arm out from the top of a panel, blocking half of Edd's nervous babbling".
** While the Eds are hiding from Jonny 2X4:
--->'''Edd''': Why do I get the feeling we're about to get our just desserts?\
''(The next panel shows them being chased out of the house with Jonny throwing various objects at them)''\
'''Edd''': Curse my informal hunches!
* "Water-Ed Down":
** Eddy, dressed in a pair of swimming trunks, wraps his arm around Edd while telling him that they need the coolest thing possible. Edd complains, "I do wish you'd put on a shirt..."
** After Edd drew the plans, Eddy adds in the only thing important to him: the ticket booth. Edd snarks, "This heat ''is'' getting to me... I actually didn't see that coming!"
* "Another Ed Down the Drain":
** Eddy gets another idea for a scam.
--->'''Eddy''': Get ready for the scam of the century, boys!!\
'''Edd''': What scam? Would you care to elucidate?\
'''Eddy''': Uh... Not in front of you, that's for sure.
** In the sewer, Ed sees some frogs and chases after them, dragging Edd along with him. Then he crashes into a pole and Edd falls on his face in the contaminated water.
* Edd's reaction to Eddy bringing back a bunch of beehives in the NoDialogueEpisode "Nod Your Ed".

* There's a particularly [[https://youtu.be/7G_rOC8H5i0?t=2176 infamous behind-the-scenes story]] where Creator/TonySampson (Eddy) had to do over ''200 takes'' for a single line of dialogue. The line in question? Three simple words: "Yup, good times!" And out of all the takes from the session, they ended up using the ''third one''.
* In the same interview, Creator/SamuelVincent (Edd) recalls taking Creator/MattHill (Ed) and Tony Sampson to Vancouver Island for a little cast vacation. Sampson apparently kept flicking cigarettes around the place while Vincent cautioned him about the environment, which is something that their characters would ''absolutely'' do in real life.
* The [[https://youtu.be/tuJr1EJ0ES4 behind-the-scenes decoumentary]] has a lot of fun bits where the Eds' actors ''constantly'' mess with each other during the recording session. There's also a clip of Sam and Tony mimicking Danny Antonucci's mantra, "ENERGY ENERGY ENERGY!"
