* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld0uIhst3TA The Joker's eulogy to Batman]] from "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE51TheManWhoKilledBatman The Man Who Killed Batman]]". As Harley Quinn says, Mr. J. knows how to put TheFunInFuneral! In fact, Harley playing AmazingFreakingGrace ''on the kazoo'' had to be done in one take because everyone was laughing too hard afterwards to do it again - you can ''hear'' the voice actress about to fall apart laughing through the whole song. Bonus points for the ''Kick Me'' sign the Joker put in the casket along with the cape and cowl. And the perfect capper:
-->'''Joker''': ...[[MoodWhiplash Well, that was fun! Who's for Chinese?]]
** The mental image of Joker, Harley and their henchmen all sitting around a table eating Chinese food.
** During the funeral, [[ButtMonkey Sid the Squid]] of all people gives a YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe look towards Harley's InelegantBlubbering.
** When the Joker starts going on a venomous tirade aimed at Sid, Harley and the henchmen all nervously edge away from him.
--->'''Joker''': This ''mound'' of diseased hyena filth, who's not fit to ''lick the dirt from my SPATS!'' ...[[MoodWhiplash But I digress]].
* Alfred trying to fly the Batwing in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE8TheForgotten The Forgotten]]".
-->'''Alfred''': This must be the place! Bring us down!\
'''Computer''': [[AC:Negative.]]\
'''Alfred''': But Master Bruce is down here! We have to land!\
'''Computer''': [[AC:Impossible. Area too confined.]]\
'''Alfred''': ''(slams his fist on the dashboard)'' Land, you bucket of bolts!\
'''Computer''': [[AC:Your funeral.]]\
'''Alfred''': Oh dear! Ahhhhh! Get us down!\
'''Computer''': [[AC:Caution. Rocks.]]\
''(Batwing lands in a quarry)''\
'''Computer''': [[AC:Watch your step.]]\
'''Alfred''': ''(falls out of the Batwing)'' [[NonSequiturThud I claim this land...]] ''[[NonSequiturThud for Spain!]]''
** Only Batman would program his ''flight computer'' to be a DeadpanSnarker.
** Just to make it funnier, the computer sounds a lot like [[Creator/RichardMoll Bull]] from [[Series/NightCourt Night Court]]!
* Bruce going full DeadpanSnarker in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE30PerchanceToDream Perchance to Dream]]".
-->'''Bruce''': That's right, Alfred. The Batcave. It's [[ElaborateUndergroundBase a big hole in the ground]] with a [[CoolCar big car in it that's all black]], remember?
* "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE4TheLastLaugh The Last Laugh]]":
** Alfred's April Fools prank. He [[ExactWords draws Batman a bath]]. As in, a picture of a bath.
** ComicBook/TheJoker, when Batman uses a garbage compactor to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KCJxXwq20U crush a robot clown]] into a cube: ''"You killed Captain Clown! YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!!!"'' Said [[AxCrazy completely straight and in earnest]].
*** Points for Creator/MarkHamill being able to pull that off without laughing halfway through the line.
** Joker's amusing choice of words as he's about to dump Batman into an incinerator: "You're going to melt just like a grilled cheese sandwich!"
** This dialogue:
--->'''Joker''': We wouldn't want our little caged rodent to suffocate, so we'll just ''punch'' some ''air holes''! ''(Joker punctures the trash can with a dagger while Batman is trapped inside, trying to avoid the blade)''
** And after he's had Captain Clown throw the trash can into the ocean:
---> Oh dear, it seems our air holes are water holes too! ''[[{{Pun}} Water]]'' shame!
** After the climactic fight, Joker is hanging by his shoe over an incinerator and shouts "Batman, you wouldn't let me fry, would you?" Batman [[ImThinkingItOver takes a moment to think it over]] with a smug smile on his face. The Joker shouts "BATMAN!" and seems clearly shocked and offended. It's hilarious.
** Yet another gem from this episode involves the Joker looking through the periscope of the submarine he's piloting. He slowly turns it around until he's eye to eye with Batman, who's standing on the roof of the sub. Batman then punches the periscope, and the resulting vibrations hit the Joker right in the face.
*** A little funnier than that, actually: he turns a good 45 degrees ''past'' a clearly-visible Batman, then does a ''glorious'' DoubleTake back just in time to get hit. Talk about FailedASpotCheck.
* "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE34TheLaughingFish The Laughing Fish]]":
** Harley repeatedly expresses her disgust of fish, until the Joker says he'll make it up to her by letting her be his mermaid... and slips a fish ''head'' costume over her. Harley gives a DeathGlare and says "You're really sick, you know that, boss?" It's also possibly a reference to ''Series/RedDwarf''.
** From the same episode, when Batman brings in a Joker fish to be analyzed:
--->'''Alfred''': This could cause a stampede to pork.
** Also:
---> '''Joker''': "Colonel What's-his-name has chickens, and they don't even have ''mustaches''!"[[note]]Which was lifted straight from the original comic.[[/note]]
** Also:
---> '''Joker''': "You're right, Harley. Fish are disgusting. I think I'll start using my toxin on cattle. Joker Burgers! Talk about a happy meal!"
** The [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDdHJ8crzdU commercial for the laughing fish]].
*** The icing on the cake was Harley's VomitDiscretionShot after eating the fish.
** And the part where Batman brings a fish to the cave to examine.
--->'''Alfred''': Dining in tonight, sir?
--->'''Batman''': (through gritted teeth, annoyed) The dissection tray please, Alfred.
** When the Joker makes his big entrance to a room of startled bureaucrats:
--->'''Francis''': Great Scott!\
'''Joker''': [[StealthPun Actually, I'm Irish.]]
* Nothing quite compares to how The Joker escapes at the beginning of "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE2ChristmasWithTheJoker Christmas with the Joker]]". Escaping from [[CardboardPrison Arkham Asylum]]? Fairly standard. Doing so on a rocket shaped like a Christmas tree? Inspired. Doing so [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Veju4PxhuGc while singing "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells"]], and actually escaping on the line "And the Joker got away"? Gut-bustingly hilarious.
** "Laughing all the WHEEEEEEEE!"
*** Two decades later, the Joker does it again by [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0LVdEnB9jQ invading a rendition of Jingle Bells]] performed by [[Creator/TheHub The Hub Carolers]], complete with [[Series/Batman1966 the Burt Ward Robin]] reacting to the "Robin laid an egg" line.
*** Which gets bonus points for using the original audio and clips from the episode. [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Pinkie Pie]] is also similarly annoyed and [[WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime Ratchet]] is horrified at the Batmobile losing a wheel.
** As Batman sweeps the city with Robin to find the freshly escaped Joker, he sees a man rushing towards an old lady. [[HelpMistakenForAttack However, it's not to rob her, but just to return a package she dropped while shopping]]. As Robin tries to ride off the energy of the heartwarming scene to encourage Batman to call off the search, the latter swings off without a word. Robin can only mutter, "He could give lessons to [[Literature/AChristmasCarol Scrooge]]."
** Batman says that he has never seen ''Film/ItsAWonderfulLife'' because "I could never get past the title."
*** A bit of a meta one: it's the second one of the series, and they're trying to make an effort to make Batman darker and more serious. One has to wonder what was going on through the heads of the production team when the script basically goes, taking what was just said in mind, "The episode begins with the Joker singing "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells", and then escapes Arkham Asylum on a rocket-propelled Christmas Tree."
** Not only that but there's something so dementedly inspired about the fact that Joker kidnapped key Gothamites and placed Batman through all manner of death-trap nonsense just so he could pie Batman in the face.
* Poison Ivy causes a few funny moments in her debut episode "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE5PrettyPoison Pretty Poison]]":
** When she is about to leave her date with Harvey she pulls him into a long deep kiss, which after a while makes Bruce visibly uncomfortable. As she walks out of the restaurant, several other men can be seen turning and gazing at her.
** When Ivy is explaining her motive for poisoning Harvey to Batman she loses her temper and starts growling angrily. Then she quickly regains her composure with a few quick coughs and acts like that didn't just happen. What makes it better is that rather than expressing her anger in a frightening manner she ends up stomping her feet and shaking her fists like a child throwing a tantrum.
** After Ivy has Batman restrained and kisses him to poison him like she did to Harvey, Batman tries to spit out the poison. Ivy [[EvilGloating jokes if he is scared she has cooties]] and when he continues she [[BlatantLies claims he hurt her feelings and was planning to share the antidote with him]]. She gets close enough to him to let him smell the antidote, and he quickly gains enough strength to kick her away.
** Unrelated to Poison Ivy, there's Bullock grilling a bunch of nervous and clueless restaurant workers while trying to learn who poisoned Harvey Dent (who wasn't even poisoned by the food).
* "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE46AlmostGotIm Almost Got 'Im]]" has to be one of the funniest episodes in the series. Just the witty banter between the villains is enough to leave you in stitches. But, the funniest bit would have to be when Harley Quinn starts reading from the phonebook in a hilariously deadpan tone.
** And her reaction when Batman casually thwarts her attempt to set up a SadisticChoice (while a [[MundaneMadeAwesome dramatic music sting]] punctuates him reaching over to the lever that does so):
--->'''Harley''': Heh, heh... Good call. Help!
*** Harley taunting Catwoman before Batman showed up.
--->'''Harley''': I had a kitty once. [[KickTheDog You know, they don't always land on their feet.]]\
'''Catwoman''': *growls behind her gag*
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEdg4glpCkg There's also]] Croc's [[SarcasmMode brilliant]] DeathTrap plan, told in an attempt to upscale Poison Ivy and Two-Face's elaborate attempts.
--->'''Killer Croc''': There I was, holed up in this quarry, when Batman came nosin' around. He was getting closer, ''closer''...\
'''Poison Ivy''': And?\
'''Killer Croc''': ''I threw a rock at him!''\
[''ChirpingCrickets'']\
'''Poison Ivy''': [''ignoring Croc''] So, Harvey, what became of the giant penny?\
'''Killer Croc''': [''Indignantly''] ...It was a ''big'' rock...
** This Website/YouTube comment sums it up best:
--->'''Dr. Casual''': You know you hit [[{{Pun}} rock bottom]] when [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness the Joker won't even smile at you.]]
** Bonus points that Killer Croc was actually Batman in disguise.
*** And it got even ''better'' during "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE3Trial Trial]]", because the real Killer Croc's suggestion to dispose of Batman was simply "Hit him with a rock!"
*** In "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE1Sideshow Sideshow]]", Croc indeed throws a rock at Batman. Croc [[EpicFail misses him anyway]] due to being all drugged up by the tranq dart he received when escaping.
*** And what happened to the giant penny Two-Face tried to kill Batman with?
--->'''Two-Face''': They actually let him keep it!
*** In future episodes throughout the DCAU, even years later, you can still see the giant penny displayed in the Batcave. [[WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond It even nearly crushes Terry, forty years in the future!]]
*** When Two-Face complains about the penny, [=Croc/Batman=] shrinks back guiltily.
** From the same episode:
--->'''Two-Face''': Poison Ivy...\
'''Poison Ivy''': It's been a long time, Harvey. You're still looking ''halfway'' decent.\
'''Two-Face''': Half of me wants to strangle you.\
'''Poison Ivy''': ''(flirtatiously)'' And what does the other half want?\
'''Two-Face''': To hit you with a truck!\
'''Poison Ivy''': ''(to the others)'' [[ContinuityNod We used to date.]]\
'''Joker/Penguin''': ''(understanding)'' Ahhhh.
** At one point, the villains start speculating on Batman's origin. When Croc starts to speak, Joker groans, "Not the robot theory again...". Also of note, as Joker is the one who brings it up, this one isn't Batman playing dumb. The real Killer Croc actually thinks this.
*** "Well he ''[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE62HisSiliconSoul could]]'' [[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE62HisSiliconSoul be...]]"
** They also speculate that Batman's cowl might be hiding some [[PleaseKeepYourHatOn horrible disfigurement]], with Joker saying that he concealed portion of his face might be "gross and disgusting"... followed up with [[InsultFriendlyFire "Uh, no offense, Harv."]]
** Joker tells Two-Face, "Gee, that's too bad, Harv, but I guess you'll always come in...''second''!"
*** And sneaks a peek at his cards in the process.
** And then we had Poison Ivy poking fun at The Penguin's LargeHam tendencies ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAGNbFzNNFA Watch!]]).
---> '''Penguin''': Now prepare to meet your end in my [[DoomyDoomsOfDoom Aviary of Doom!]]\
'''Ivy''': Aviary of ''what''?\
'''Joker''': ''Eesh'', Pengers! How corny can you get?
** Poison Ivy's entrance, which involves her yanking Killer Croc's chair out from under him and knocking him senseless is hilarious on a second watch when you realize she just did that to Batman.
* "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE23BewareTheCreeper Beware the Creeper]]", notably because of his ransacking of an upscale clothing boutique looking for a new superhero outfit, a scene which gave us the character [[SuperStoicShopkeeper Thriftie]], the clerk with the green sweater, green headband, and ''[[TheStoic biting stone-faced stoicism.]]'' Never once in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7T8y3Af3dH0 the entire scene]] does she even ''raise an eyebrow'' at Creeper's actions; instead she answers each one with [[DeadpanSnarker a snarky comment that's snarkier than the last]].
** Even Alfred gets in on it:
---> '''Alfred''': The police just received a call about a giggling lemon-yellow maniac trashing a thrift shop. [[LampshadeHanging But here's]] the ''[[CityOfAdventure strange part]]''...
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjRCUhds0hU Yes, folks, he just pulled]] an OffhandBackhand on ''Batman''... and it was both hilarious and [[Awesome/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries AWESOME!]]
*** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co4NBce96A8 Most appropriate reaction to the scene.]]
** "But she just tried to kill you!" "You're young. You'll learn."
** The Joker [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTkoMQZjCHY calls The Creeper a lunatic.]] ''[[HorrifyingTheHorror The Joker called The Creeper a lunatic.]]''
** Or this bit...
--->'''Robin''': Which way did he (Creeper) go?\
''*big [[StuffBlowingUp kaboom]] in the background*''\
'''Batman''': [[FollowTheChaos That way...]]
** '''Joker''': You nearly blew us to [[InherentlyFunnyWords Chattahootchie]]!
** Or this:
--->'''Creeper''': Aw... sweetie got a boo-boo?\
''*WHACK!!*''\
'''Harley Quinn''': Aw... creepo got a concussion?
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZMlXlWwNmc&feature=related This clip]] [[FridgeBrilliance implies that the Creeper is actually]] ''[[FridgeBrilliance incapable]]'' [[FridgeBrilliance of thinking logically]] after his transformation:
--> '''Creeper''': I'd better slow down here, try to figure out ''logically'' what's going on. ''(thinks; we hear noises of a broken Cuckoo clock going off)'' Whoa, that hurts!
** When the Creeper breaks into the Joker's hideout looking for Harley.
--->'''Harley''': I swear Mr. J, I didn't encourage him!\
'''Joker''': That's okay, pooh. I know you're a one-man loon.\
'''Harley''': ''(smitten)'' ...eee...
* "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE7Harlequinade Harlequinade]]": Batman and Harley team up.
** The irony of it all.
-->'''Harley''': Did you see the way I handled those creeps? Pow! Bam! Batgirl, eat your heart out!
-->'''Robin''': What was she before she went bonkers?
-->'''Batman''': A clinical psychiatrist.
-->'''Robin''': Figures.
** During the episode while sneaking in Harley follows after him whispering "[[WithCatlikeTread Sneak, sneak, sneak!]]" only for Batman to whip around and glare at her and she instantly shuts up.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp6wLXj4-5A "Say That We're Sweethearts Again"]] is the best dysfunctional love song ''ever''. Which is ''very'' creepy, considering it was an ''actual song'' from a movie [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xaTZoZZsb0g made in 1944]].
* "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE16HarleysHoliday Harley's Holiday]]": The Scarecrow is getting hauled back to Arkham by Batman and Robin. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHPJcN0CvnY Watch!]]
-->'''Scarecrow''': ''I am the master of fear! The lord of despair! Cower before me and witness terror!''\
'''Harley Quinn''': Hi, Professor Crane!\
'''Scarecrow''': ''(rather sweetly)'' Good evening, child. ''(back to ranting)'' Worship me, you fools! ''Worship me!'' Scream hosannas of anguish to ''Scarecrow'', the all-terrible ''God'' of Fear!
** And immediately afterward, Robin points a thumb at him as he's dragged down the hall, and nonchalantly remarks, "I think he's getting better!"
** It's especially funny because it shows that Batsy's insane rogues actually ''have'' a semblance of a normal (to them) society within Arkham. In ''Jokers Wild'', they fight over what TV channel to watch like a dysfunctional family.
** Same ep, right after snapping in a clothing store over a misunderstanding regarding a dress.
--->'''Harley''': Back off, rich boy, I'm ''[[{{Pun}} armed]]''!\
''(smacks Bruce Wayne with mannequin arm)''
** The crowner -- in a whole episode of Crowned -- has to be when Harley and Veronica are almost out of Gotham -- and the "kidnap" victim Veronica has made her peace with Harley. Harley says that "[[TemptingFate for the first time today, things are finally looking up]]". At which point, the car is almost blown to bits by a cannon shell. Dazed, Harley sees Veronica's father, an army general, whipping a tank like the old cavalryman he is and bearing down on them.
--->'''Veronica''': Daddy!
--->'''Harley''': [[OhCrap Daddy?]] [[ThisIsGonnaSuck Oyyyyy...]] ''(She rapidly turns the car back towards Gotham.)''
--->'''Veronica''': What are you doing? That's my father!
--->'''Harley''': Noooo... That's your father...'''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r67HKrNdmI IN A TANK!]]'''
*** Not only is the exchange funny, but also the fact that Veronica's father's solution to his daughter getting "kidnapped" is ''blowing up the car she is in with a tank''.
** There's also the scene where Harley (walking her [[FluffyTheTerrible pet hyenas]]) meets up with [[SecretIdentity Bruce Wayne]] in the store she's shopping in.
--->'''Harley''': Hey, [[HaveWeMet don't I know you]]?\
'''Bruce''': I don't think so.\
'''Harley''': [[HeyWait Something about]] [[LanternJawOfJustice that chin...]] I know! [[ComicallyMissingThePoint You're Bruce Wayne, the boy billionaire!]] Hmm, unattached, I see...
*** Things don't go much better when Veronica interrupts them.
---->'''Harley''': Hey, remember me?! The big charity bash a few years back? The one that Joker robbed? I was the clown-girl holding the gun on you! (''Veronica responds with StunnedSilence'') Oh, don't worry, I'm over the "crime" thing, see? (''Harley proudly shows her'' Certificate of Sanity ''to Veronica as the latter [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere walks away with Bruce in tow]]'') I'm rehabilitated and ready to live my life right!\
'''Veronica''': How nice for you... goodbye!\
'''Harley''': Gee, you make one little mistake and they [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten never let you forget]].
** The face Bruce makes when he's dragged away by Veronica, clearly showing he'd rather spend time with the ex-clown girl who tried to kill him numerous times.
** The ending where Harley kisses Batman, who is too stunned to react ''twice'', is just hilarious - especially with Poison Ivy and Robin standing in the sidelines, sharing a look that pretty clearly says: "What the...?" Doubly funny if you take the classic [[HoYay/{{Batman}} Ho Yay and the newer Les Yay]] into account. As Batman and Robin walk off, you can clearly see Robin still looking at Harley as if he still is processing what just happened.
--->'''Harley''': ''(Walking past a bemused Ivy)'' Ahhhh, what're ''you'' lookin' at?
*** Once that's done, we get one of those moments where Bruce Wayne just shines through the Bat-cowl:
--->'''Harley''': ''(Smiling)'' Call me.
--->'''Batman''': ''(Smirking)'' Don't press your luck.
* How about the Joker's [[FunnyAnsweringMachine answering machine message]]? It's either [[BlackComedy hilarious or creepy]], depending on where he got the recording. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WQqstqo4Sw As follows]]:
-->'''Joker''': " *EvilLaugh* Boy, did YOU get a wrong number! Leave your message at the sound of the shriek."
-->'''Male Voice''': "No... please... don't! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHG!"
* In "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE3Trial Trial]]": Harley going nuclear on the Joker.
-->'''Janet''': Sad, isn't it? Harleen Quinzel used to be a doctor here at Arkham until the Joker twisted her mind.
-->'''Harley''': Ha! You're just jealous 'cause you don't have a fella who's as loving and loyal as my Puddin' is to me!
-->'''Janet''': Uh-huh. And I suppose it's that same loyalty I saw the last time you escaped, and "Puddin'" here...
-->''(Joker frantically waves his hands trying to signal Janet to shut up)''
-->'''Janet''': ...''finked'' on you in hopes of getting time off.
-->'''Harley''': Is that... true, Puddin'?
-->'''Joker''': ''(fidgets)'' "Finked" is... [[BlackmailIsSuchAnUglyWord such an ugly word.]]
-->'''Harley''': ''(lunges, grabs Joker by the collar and shakes him)'' YOU LOUSY, SCUM-SUCKING CREEP!
** To the laughter [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCOWJVGIud8 and delight of the other villains assembled]].
*** Also, in "Joker's Millions", [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CXtBulwA2c when she gets revenge on Joker for trying to replace her, billy-club style]]. As a matter of fact, "Fake-Harley" in general.
-->'''Harley''': Welcome to the club.
** The Joker's entrance into the courtroom:
---> '''Scarface''': And now, all greet the most benevolent, most fair Judge Joker!
---> '''Joker''': ''(Slams the gavel down)'' GUILTY!!!
** After Janet has provoked [[IfICantHaveYou a rant from the Mad Hatter]]:
---> '''Mad Hatter''': Oh! ''[Turns to Joker.]'' I'd like that last statement [[DisregardThatStatement stricken from the record]], please.\
'''Joker''': Record? Is someone supposed to be writing this down?
*** Joker looks and sounds ''genuinely concerned'' when the matter of the record is brought up, which makes the moment even more hilarious.
** This exchange.
-->'''Janet''': So it's the Batman's fault you turned to crime?
-->'''Poison Ivy''': He should have let me bump off Harvey Dent! We'd all have been better off! Wouldn't we, Harv?
-->'''Two-Face''': Why you lousy... (slipping into angrished grumbling while flipping his coin)
* In "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE1HolidayKnights Holiday Knights]]", Harvey Bullock is posing as a MallSanta. This is funny enough in and of itself, but here's a conversation between him and a little girl who comes up:
-->'''Girl''': My name's Mary [=MacSweeney=]. Can you bring my Daddy home for Christmas?
-->'''Bullock''': Gee, kid, I dunno. Where is he?
-->'''Girl''': ''(cheerfully)'' In prison.
-->'''Bullock''': You mean your dad is 'Mad-Dog' Mac-... I mean, Mike [=MacSweeney=]?
-->'''Girl''': Uh-huh.
-->'''Bullock''': ''(To Montoya)'' [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes Poor kid! I sent her old man up the river three months ago]]! ''(To Mary)'' Uh, listen, kid, it's like this. I, uh... ah... I'd like to help you out, but... er, uh, what I mean is... ''(gives up)'' Sometimes even Santa can't make every wish come true. ''(reaches into pocket and pulls out a handful of bills)'' Here kid, buy yourself something nice."
-->'''Girl''': Thank you, Santa! ''(hugs)'' Can I buy my Daddy something, too?
-->'''Bullock''': [[JailBake As long as it ain't a hacksaw]], why not?
** It's also kind of a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}}.
** Later in that segment, Clayface shows up. Batgirl knocks him into the ice-skating pond outside, which he breaks through. There is a Santa on the chain of lights above the rink. Bullock and Montoya try to shoot Clayface.
--->'''Batgirl:''' Don't waste your ammo on ''him''! Shoot the Santa!
--->''(Montoya and Bullock look at each other)''
--->'''Bullock:''' You wouldn't.
--->'''Montoya:''' Not you, dope! ''That'' Santa!
** This little scene:
--->'''Obnoxious kid''': You're not Santy Claus!
--->'''Bullock (dressed as Santa)''': Sure I am! Wanna see my gun?
--->''(Montoya [[DopeSlap Dope Slaps]] him)''
*** The scene makes it clear that not only had she been waiting to do that but she's as bored with the stakeout as he is.
** The first 10 minutes in their entirety, where Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy kidnap Bruce Wayne and force him to take them on a shopping spree. Such as Harley's "Gimme some sugar, ''baby''!", and this bit:
--->''Bruce falls down elevator shaft''
--->'''Harley''': Ohmigod omigod omigod!! ''(small voice)'' We... we ''killed'' him. ''(normally)'' Oh well.
--->'''Ivy''': We were going to do it anyway.
--->'''Harley''': We got his credit cards; what's to worry?
** "Look! PIANOS!!!"-Harley
** During the shopping montage, they cut to Bruce signing various checks and receipts, with a look on his face that says he's gonna ''murder'' those two as soon as he can get back into a cowl.
** Another Harley moment from same episode, she kept BEGGING Ivy to get them a Christmas tree, to which Ivy said no, saying that the tradition of Christmas trees is Genocide to the Pines! When they kidnap Bruce and make him pay for their shopping spree, the first thing Harley notices is a Christmas tree:
--->'''Harley''': ''Pleeeeeeease!''
--->'''Ivy''': ''(grabs Harley by her jester hat, and drags her off-screen)'' NO!!
*** And when a Christmas tree falls on them and traps them:
---> '''Ivy''': Here's your stupid tree. You happy?
---> '''Harley''': ''[Ornament falls on her head]'' ...''Yeah''...
** Joker's reaction when his New Years' scheme concludes with a bell being dropped right onto him. [[NotSoStoic Even Batman flinches]].
--->'''Joker''': [[ThisIsGonnaSuck Oh no...]]
* Joker's [[BreakingTheFourthWall line]], "[[DontTryThisAtHome Don't try this at home, kids!]]" as he ropes a passing truck with to escape Arkham in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE41JokersWild Joker's Wild]]".
* In ''WesternAnimation/BatmanMysteryOfTheBatwoman'', Batman breaks into a suspect's apartment and is going through her wardrobe when her bodyguard walks in on him. (It should be mentioned that this is a bodyguard who's still got a black eye from the last time he met Batman.) They stare at each other for five mute seconds, then the bodyguard calmly [[KnowWhenToFoldEm closes the door and walks away]]. The bodyguard's partner asks if something's wrong and the bodyguard equally calmly says "Nope."
* One classic bit that was completely unexpected takes place in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE17SeeNoEvil See No Evil]]". While Bruce is at a jewelry store, the villain of the day enters the men's room to change into his invisibility suit and locks the door when a poor guard needed to use the restroom. When he tries again later, Bruce is in there getting changed into the Batman costume. This time, the guard waits in front of the door, to which Batman slams it open and just [[TheDoorSlamsYou smacks the poor guy against the wall.]]
** Also in the same episode, [[OutsideRide Batman is on top of the villain's invisible car]] and they pass two hobos.
-->'''Hobo''': I didn't know he could fly too.\
''(the other hobo shrugs)''
** Not to mention when he follows the invisible perp outside and starts yelling for the man in question, the construction worker looked around in clear confusion while eating his sandwich, [[ComicallyMissingthePoint clearly not knowing what's going on]]
* The ClockKing scores one in "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE8TimeOutOfJoint Time Out of Joint]]". After activating his device that causes time around him to slow down, he decides to take the elevator to the top of a building... only to realize how pointless this is and takes the stairs instead.
** And in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE25TheClockKing The Clock King]]" before he became the title character, he takes Hill's advice and takes some time to himself. So he goes to the park and just sits there, unsure of what to do now that he actually has some spare time. [[TheComicallySerious It's funny]] and almost {{adorkable}} in a weird way.
* "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE20GirlsNightOut Girls' Night Out]]":
-->'''Livewire''': Are you out of your mind?\
'''Harley Quinn''': ''(with a grin after thinking for a second)'' [[RhetoricalQuestionBlunder Yeah!]]
** Hilariously similar to this dialogue from ''Film/TheDarkKnight'':
--->'''Gambol''': You think you can steal from us and just walk away? \
'''Joker''': Yeah.
** Harley insists on using a giant mallet for a robbery. Poison Ivy uses her trademark vines to bust an ATM, while at another, Livewire uses her powers to demonstrate a much simpler process. Harley is at another ATM..... hopelessly pounding away with a giant mallet.
--->'''Ivy''': ...at least she's consistent.
* In "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE22Chemistry Chemistry]]" when Bruce is talking about Susan:
-->'''Bruce''': It's a lightness. A sense that things will work out for the best.\
'''Tim''': It's called happiness.\
'''Bruce''': (In an angry, defensive voice) [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emgeMj13cxg Whatever it is, I LIKE it!]]
* "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE16AnimalAct Animal Act]]":
** Nightwing landing on a roof before this little gem shows up.
--->'''Robin''': Nightwing! What are you doing here?\
'''Nightwing''': Oh, just following an obsessive behavior instilled in me at an early age.
** Another one, when Batman and Nightwing are fighting the bears.
---->'''Nightwing''': You take the brown one, I'll take... the ''other'' brown one.
* "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE17OldWounds Old Wounds]]" - Bruce has just revealed the Batcave to Barbara Gordon. Then this happens:
-->'''Alfred''': Master Bruce, I... ''(sees Barbara)'' Miss Gordon...''(stammers)'' ...you've discovered our little secret. Yes. I admit it. [[BlatantLies I am Batman.]]\
'''Bruce''': It's alright, Alfred.\
'''Alfred''': Very good, sir. ''(walks away)''
** Later referenced in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/StaticShock'' in which Alfred is tending to Static's injuries in the Batcave:
--->'''Static''': Who are you?\
'''Alfred''': I'm Batman.\
'''Static''': (smirking, unconvinced) I don't think so.\
'''Alfred''': Just once I wish someone would believe that.
** Becomes even funnier when you realize that someone DID believe it, when Alfred played a decoy Batman in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/TheBatman'', and when ComicBook/LexLuthor invaded the Batcave in ''WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold''.
** Also a nice little nod to Alfred's occasional donning of the Batsuit back in the Adam West-era show.
** The Joker's reaction when Batman and Robin enter the room [[ThereWasADoor through the skylight]]:
-->'''The Joker''': Nice entrance. [[LampshadeHanging Either you've never heard of a door or you just like pulling glass out of your shorts.]]
* In "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE14RiddlersReform Riddler's Reform]]", Riddler's poleaxed reaction (with a mental [[SomethingElseAlsoRises "twang!"]]) to the approach of a beautiful woman at a party.
-->'''Woman''': Where did you find him, CB? He's ''so'' adorable.
-->'''Riddler''': Who? ''(glances around)'' ...''Me?''
** Then later, he beams at his reflection in a mirror and agrees:
---> "You're ''adorable''!"
*** Made even funnier a second later when Batman reveals he's in the room with him (Edward was supposedly alone to take a phone call).
--->'''Batman''': "''Adorable''", huh?
** Another woman asks, "Mr. Riddler, can you show me what ''these'' do?" while holding up two walkie-talkie toys shaped like balls.
** This exchange:
--->'''Robin''': ''(Regarding the puzzle box the Riddler is sitting on)'' The last time you delivered one of these, it almost killed Commissioner Gordon.
--->'''Riddler''': What's your point?
** After Riddler's recapture in the episode, we cut to Arkham where he's ranting loudly about how "I HAVE TO KNOW" how Batman escaped his last deathtrap. In an adjacent cell, the Joker is just holding his ears, a highly annoyed look on his face.
* A moment in "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE6NeverFear Never Fear]]": A Batman with his fear of killing chemically removed strangles Scarecrow unconscious before Robin manages to hit him with the antidote. They're all on a runaway train--
-->'''Batman''': You're going to have to jump!
-->'''Robin''': What about Scarecrow?
-->'''Batman''': I'll take care of him!
-->'''Robin''': ''(wordless appalled look)''
-->'''Batman''': [[ThatCameOutWrong ...I'll get him off the train!]]
** In that same episode when Bruce saw Tim playing around in his office.
-->'''Bruce''': Playing hooky again?
-->'''Tim''': It's summer vacation. How could you forget?
-->'''Bruce''': ''(stern expression on his face)''
-->'''Tim''': Right, I forgot who I was talking to.
* "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE19LegendsOfTheDarkKnight Legends of the Dark Knight]]": Silver Age Joker goes through the effort to take the guard's keys, makes a joke that he ''has'' the keys, looks at them to ''choose'' a key, almost puts the key into the lock, and then proceeds to smash the display case instead of actually ''using'' the key.
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE24FearOfVictory Fear of Victory]]":
** Batman swings through a window into a woman's apartment. Even when he's not Bruce Wayne he still gets the ladies:
--->'''Woman''': Oh my! ''(seductive pose)'' ...Oh, ''my.''
*** Batman's smirk as he leaves the apartment.
** Batman lies in wait for the Scarecrow to deliver a fear toxin-laced telegram to a sports star. Instead, when a telegram arrives, he catches an ordinary courier who panics and promises not to double-park anymore.
* "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE27MadAsAHatter Mad as a Hatter]]": Alice Pleasance's fiancé has broken it off less than twenty-four hours after he proposed. She comes home to a house full of flowers and her previously "sweet, funny" boss being a [[StalkerWithACrush little too excited]] about the prospect of catching her on the rebound (plus he inexplicably knows about the breakup). Then, as she backs away from him, she bumps into Batman.
-->'''Alice''': Oh, this is getting too weird.
* This bit...
-->'''Tim''': I know [the American justice system] is bogus.
-->'''Bruce''': And how did you come to that well-thought-out conclusion?
-->'''Tim''': ''(smug face)'' Watching you.
** The best part was Bruce's dumbfounded expression and had no other way to ''counter it other than to change the subject''. Yes, young Tim Drake just stumped the Batman... awesome AND hilarious!
* After Batman's umpteenth {{Stealth Hi Bye}} on Gordon: "One of these days I'm going to nail his feet to the ground!"
* The FunnyBackgroundEvent during the opening news report in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE14HeartOfIce Heart of Ice]]" where a cop tries to chase some kids away from a crime scene, only to get pelted by snowballs once he turns away.
** Freeze and his henchmen show up at the gala with the freeze cannon on a truck - and the doorman asks for his keys.
** Batman suddenly catches a cold after his first fight with Freeze, The way he blows his nose while fully suited up is just priceless.
** How Batman ultimately defeats Freeze - with Alfred's chicken noodle soup!
* After dealing a vicious fate to a robot duplicate of Bullock, Batman is faced with Barbara demanding he let her help him. His response: "Please let go of my cape."
* If we count the Creator/KidsWB promos featuring the characters, there's the spot for ''Anime/PokemonTheOriginalSeries'' in which [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqH5WZhaKEw Robin makes Batman sing the Jigglypuff song]]. Notice Joker asleep in a bubble.
** That wasn't the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4e3CDc1r5k only one]]. The [[MemeticMutation Goddamn Batman]] knows how to deal with GoddamnedBats. There was also a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWEXzugw4Gw&feature=related Batman Beyond]] one. Poor Terry.
* "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE56HarleyAndIvy Harley and Ivy]]": After Poison Ivy pulls a {{Groin Attack}} on the Joker, he lets out a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAWvgPO_s7w rather high-pitched "Get 'em!"]] to his men. Mark Hamill had to have fun recording that one.
** Harley's response to the two obnoxious frat boys:
--->'''Frat-Boy''': What are you gonna do, ''spank'' us?
--->'''Harley''': That's right, pigs, and here's the paddle! ''(pulls out bazooka)''
** Joker's [[SkywardScream silly-sounding scream]], upon learning that Harley and Ivy are stealing his thunder, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtJNYXFHn4k causes the "Laff City - Closed" sign to fall off of his hideout.]]
* In "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE11BabyDoll Baby-Doll]]", Robin has to watch the entire run of a crappy sitcom for clues.
-->'''Robin''': Remember when Poison Ivy almost smothered us with those vines, with the ''really'' sharp thorns?
-->'''Batman''': Yes.
-->'''Robin''': This is worse.
** Despite calling Baby Doll's show terrible, it's obvious that Robin also finds it to be a GuiltyPleasure.
* Nearly the entire episode of "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE18MakeEmLaugh Make 'Em Laugh]]". It's almost a shame we couldn't have seen more of the Condiment King, the Pack Rat, and Mighty Mom.
-->'''Police Dispatcher''': ...who appears to be brandishing a ''ketchup'' gun...
-->'''Batman''': ''[deadpan]'' It's going to be one of those nights.
** The entire episode is full of laughs, but Batman's encounter with the Condiment King and Robin's with Mighty Mom are particularly funny.
--->'''Condiment King:''' Ah, the big bad Bat-guy. I knew you'd [[{{Pun}} "ketchup"]] to me sooner or later! How I've [[{{Pun}} relished]] this meeting! You, the dynamic Dark Knight, versus me, the conceptual Condiment King! Come, Batman, let's see if you can cut the [[HurricaneOfPuns mustard]]...\
'''Batman''': ''(punches him)'' [[TalkToTheFist Quiet!]]\
'''Condiment King''': ''(shocked)'' You hit me.\
'''Batman''': Now listen, [[MaliciousMisnaming Mustard Man]], or whatever you call yourself. You're obviously new at this. So [[TheEasyWayOrTheHardWay I'm willing to go easy]] provided you give back the loot and [[ScareEmStraight never even think about doing this again]]. Deal?
** "Hot sauce!"
** There was also Robin's indignant fight with "Mighty Mom", where he literally gets spanked by her. He manages to remove the control chip from her, reverting her back to Lisa Lorraine, but she heavily slaps him afterwards because him yanking off the chip hurt.
--->'''Lisa''': Relax, I'm back to normal!\
'''Robin''': Who can tell!?
* Barbara's reference to ''WesternAnimation/{{Pinky And The Brain}}'' in "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE10TorchSong Torch Song]]", [[PopculturalOsmosisFailure which Bruce doesn't get]].
** Also, Batman asking Cassidy why Firefly is after her. Cassidy replies that "he's sort of carried a [[{{Pun}} torch]] for me," and [[ToughRoom gets met with an unimpressed glare.]] Seems the Dark Knight isn't much for puns, either.
* Mooks firing tommyguns at a pursuing Batmobile, which isn't damaged.
-->'''Robin''': Are they kidding?
-->'''Batman''': Perhaps they're new in town.
** It gets a callback in ''WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries'' with the even more pathetic sight of a thug going at Supes with a ''wooden club.'' "You're kidding, right?"
* In "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE13MeanSeasons Mean Seasons]]", an overweight, middle-aged woman tells her husband she'd like to buy some of the dresses at a fashion show. He obliviously replies "For who?", earning him a purse to the head.
** Later, when Bruce comments that Page Monroe is a "pretty girl", Barbara points out that she's close to his own age--"''Batboy''."
* In "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE2SinsOfTheFather Sins of the Father]]", the moment where Two-Face asks Tim where his father is.
-->'''Two-Face''': Now, talk. Where is he?
-->'''Tim''': How 'bout I go check his calendar?
-->'''Two-Face''': ''(slaps Tim with his glove)'' He stole something from me.
-->'''Tim''': Your charming good looks?
** After Tim's first run as Robin, he starts cheering about how awesome that was. The look on Batman's face just screams, "Oh, great. I gotta deal with ''this'' now."
* "Joker's Millions" has Batgirl commenting that with Joker being rich, maybe he'll give up crime. This is made hilarious when Batman snaps the object he's working on upon hearing that statement; the look on Batgirl's face is really priceless. She then comments about going with Dick to the Iceberg Lounge...
** In the beginning, there's something hilarious about the way Joker screams out, "Ow! MY EYE! Sucker!"
*** Not to mention right before that when he tries to spray Batman with his acid-squirter flower only to discover that acid was one of the things he can't afford at the moment.
** Then, when he and Harley are trying to make their getaway, their car runs out of gas.
--->'''Joker''': I thought I told you to get gas!\
'''Harley''': WE’RE BROKE, remember?! [[RhetoricalQuestionBlunder What was I supposed to do? Fill the tank, shoot the guy and drive off?!]]\
'''Joker''': (''smiles and nods'') [[BluntYes Mm-hmm.]]\
(''{{Beat}}'')\
'''Harley''': ''[[NowYouTellMe NOW]]'' [[NowYouTellMe you tell me!]]
** Later on, she makes a comment about how the Penguin (currently in his regular disguise) wouldn't stop Gordon's daughter from entering his lounge... His reaction sells the moment.
** When Ernie, Joker's lawyer, suggested of going back to crime.
--->'''Ernie''': Maybe you can pull one of those classic routines like that laughing fish.
--->'''Joker''': Good idea, Ernie. Just let Batman know ''I'' did it SO HE CAN KICK MY KEISTER RIGHT BACK INTO ARKHAM! ''(pushes Ernie)'' Dope.
** Also, Batman interrogates Ernie later on by giving him a swirly. At first, the Penguin plans on stopping him from mistreating a guest but backed away from the bathroom door once he heard it happening.
** The Joker is [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGCNMb57Lpw crazy enough to take on Batman]], [[IntimidatingRevenueService but the IRS ...]] And after that, they find out that only $10 million of King Barlow's "fortune" is real (i.e. [[AFoolAndHisNewMoneyAreSoonParted the $10 million Joker already spent]]), and that all the rest of the money, gold and jewels are forgeries. Then one of Joker's Mooks finds [[VideoWills a tape left behind by Barlow]], where he smugly explains all of this to Joker, and that, [[ThanatosGambit thanks to this little ploy]], [[HumiliationConga the Joker will be broke, hounded by the IRS, and find it impossible admit he was fooled]], [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten lest he'd become the laughingstock of the underworld]]. This sends Joker into a TranquilFury unheard of for most of the series, and for good reason: [[WhosLaughingNow King Barlow made sure that he would get the last laugh!]]
** When Joker gets his money, he doesn't want to go through all the trouble of getting Harley out of jail, so he prefers to hire a replacement girl, for which he gets a bunch of applicants. He goes through most of them unimpressed until he gets to a fat little man in a Harley costume. He then proceeds to look at him up and down while showing serious consideration, all the while the man gets increasingly happy at his chances. At the end, though, Joker says "No" and moves on to the next applicant, which makes the man yell "Darn" in frustration. It's even more hilarious once you realize that the guy was modeled after Paul Dini, [[CreatorCameo Harley Quinn's creator, series producer, and the episode's writer]].
** And after the Joker's Harley-replacement proves to be utterly annoying and incompetent: "Maybe I should have hired the fat guy..."
** The scenes showing the Joker having the time of his life spending money all over Gotham, which keeps getting in the way of Bruce Wayne. The best scene is probably when the Joker is tearing around on a golf course in a golf cart and interrupts one of Bruce's dates.
** "Drown the kids and shoot the neighbors, we have a winner!"
** How Harley escaped from Arkham.
-->'''Guard 1''': Maybe she went down the laundry chute?
-->'''Guard 2''': [[TemptingFate None of these yahoos are crazy enough to pull THAT old stunt!]]
-->'''Poison Ivy''': ''(smirking in her cell)'' HA!
-->''([[GilliganCut Cut to Harley swirling inside one of the washing machines in the laundry room]])''
-->'''Harley''': HELP! HELP! IVY! ANYBODY! ''GET ME OUTTA HERE!!''
* During Ra's al-Ghul's aerial zeppelin assault in "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE13Showdown Showdown]]", one of the artillery shells [[ToiletHumor randomly destroys a nearby outhouse]].
* In the episode "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE10Bane Bane]]", Batman finds the Batmobile smashed by the episode's namesake:
-->'''Alfred''': [[{{Understatement}} You appear to have a dent in your door, sir.]]
-->'''Batman''': He trashed my car, Alfred. Between a couple of guys, that's real personal.
** Later in the same episode, Batman is analyzing a piece of material and talking with Alfred.
--->'''Batman''': So the question is, who wants to eliminate me?
--->'''Alfred''': [[DeadpanSnarker That line is forming around the block, sir.]]
** Later referenced in an episode of ''WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond'', when Bruce and Terry discuss a giant robot destroying the local school bully's car:
--->'''Bruce''': Know anyone who might have a grudge against him?
--->'''Terry''': The line starts with me and goes around the block. Twice.
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE21FeatOfClayPart2 Feat of Clay: Part 2]]", Roland Daggett's germophobic henchman, appropriately called "Germs", shows concern about infiltrating a hospital ("all those sick people...") but does it, with some fear. Batman chases after him, eventually cornering him in the room where they keep disease samples. Germs presses himself to the far wall, frantically looking around at the samples. Batman picks one up at random -- "Crimson Fever. Lousy way to go. No cure, you know." -- then places it on a shelf over Germs's head and starts asking questions. For every lie, he bangs the wall, and the jar comes one step closer to falling. Just before he's got his information, a security guard interrupts, saying that he'll take it from here. Batman slams the wall one final time, and Germs yelps and cowers as the jar tumbles... but Batman catches it before it hits him. The scene lingers on that shot for a little bit longer -- enough for the viewer to see that the label reads "[[FalseRoulette Seawater For Analysis".]] Subtle, but hilarious.
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE22JokersFavor Joker's Favor]]", Charlie Collins, the man the Joker forced into helping his plot, threatens him with one of his bombs. After being unable to convince him to stop, [[OhCrap he starts calling Batman for help]]. Then it turns out that not only was Batman watching the whole time but the bomb was fake. ''Batman'' [[NotSoStoic laughs at it]]! Doubles as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome, as Batman then tells "Mr. Collins" to go home with the same respectful tone he generally reserves for Gordon.
** The Joker's 'subtle' way of calling for help:
--->'''Joker''': ''[Nervously]'' Look Charlie, you had a busy day. All this fooling around, all this excitement with BATMAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!
** A hilarious moment during the Joker calling Charlie in for his favor: the piece of paper he found Charlie's new phone number and address at reads, among the knowledge that he changed his name: "HE OWES ME A FAVOR!"
** Charlie cussing out the guy who cut him off without a turn signal. ...Only to find it's [[MuggingTheMonster the Joker]]. Charlie looks at the fist he's waving at the Clown Prince, slowly opens it, and tries to fake it as a hand wave before driving the heck out of there. All the while [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWFMMTK9N2M his very own theme song]] plays, as though telling him "Whoops, you really blew it there!"
** This little exchange when Joker is telling Charlie that he wants him to open a door to let Harley in with the cake.
-->'''Charlie''': Wait, that's the favor? You called me out here just to open a door?\
'''Joker''': Well, look at the size of that cake, man! She can't open the door and push it in all at once! ''Think!''\
'''Charlie''': ''(Aside)'' He's nuts...
* A background gag in "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE18BewareTheGrayGhost Beware the Gray Ghost]]" when Alfred and Bruce go to a video dealer. Alfred notices the dust on the counter and instinctively starts dusting the counter with a handkerchief.
* The first part of "The Demon's Quest" features Ra's al Ghul and his GiantMook Ubu, who's so loyal and devoted to his master that he keeps pushing Batman around for daring to walk ahead of Ra's. Batman spends the episode slowly counting the pushes he gets from Ubu until he's finally had enough.
-->'''Ubu''': [[CatchPhrase Infidel!]]
-->'''Batman''': If you only knew how sick I am of you calling me that!
* Near the end of "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE4Avatar Avatar]]", Batman runs past Ubu who can only yell "Infidel!" a second later.
* In "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE21MadLove Mad Love]]", Batman at one point deliberately pisses the Joker off by calling him "Pudd'n" while [[NotSoStoic smirking]].
** Then there's his DelayedReaction: Yeah, yeah. Batman, eh? Well, you don't say. Uh-- '''YOU HAVE ''WHO'' TIED UP ''WHERE''?!'''
* "Critters". There are some creepy parts here and there, but most of the episode is really funny for the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. One of the highlights is farmer Brown having a ''pitchfork gun''!
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE23Vendetta Vendetta]]", Bruce goes to a zoo to learn about the natural habitat of the crocodile. Sorry, let me re-state that. The ''billionaire genius'' with a ''supercomputer'' in his basement had to go to a ''zoo'' to learn something as trivial as the habitat of a crocodile. What, he never invested in an encyclopedia?
** In fairness to him, if you want to learn about crocodiles by observing them in action rather than just reading about them, a zoo's not exactly the worst place to start.
* This exchange from "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE32RobinsReckoningPart1 Robin's Reckoning: Part 1]]".
-->'''Robin''': If I knew it was going to take this long, I would have brought my homework. You sure about this extortion ring?
-->'''Batman''': Uh-huh.
-->'''Robin''': It's been four hours!
-->'''Batman''': Uh-huh.
-->'''Robin''': Still think they'll show?
-->'''Batman''': Uh-huh.
-->'''Robin''': (sighs) Lucky for me, you're such a good conversationalist.
-->'''Batman''': ([[NotSoStoic smug grin]])
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE15TheCatAndTheClawPart1 The Cat and the Claw: Part 1]]", Catwoman's first encounter with Batman involves her trying to escape him. She swings across to another roof. Of course, this ''is'' [[StealthHiBye Batman]] we're talking about here, so when she thinks she's lost him:
-->'''Catwoman''': So long, Dark Knight.
-->'''Batman''': Drop in anytime.
-->''Isis freaks out upon seeing Batman.''
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE41JokersWild Joker's Wild]]", Bruce Wayne manages to get one over on the Joker. Not Batman, mind you. ''Bruce Wayne.''
-->''[At the blackjack table being staffed by the Joker]''\
'''The Joker:''' Say, don't I know you? Sure, Bruce Wayne! Ah, so this is how your family made all those billions.\
'''Bruce Wayne''': The secret's out. And you are?\
'''The Joker''': Oh, just a nameless clown shuffling my life away.\
'''Bruce Wayne''': ''[Blandly]'' Too bad it has to be in such gruesome surroundings.\
''[The Joker spills the cards he's shuffling, shocked]''\
'''The Joker''': ''[Coldly]'' Don't care for the decor?\
'''Bruce Wayne''': Not hardly. All those horrible faces, grinning at me. That would do things to my ''mind'', after a while.\
'''The Joker''': ''[Muttering to himself]'' Who says you have one...\
''[The Joker deals Bruce a three and a nine.]''\
'''Bruce Wayne''': Yeah, I'd be ready for the laughing academy if I had to stare at that ugly clown all day.\
'''The Joker''': ''[Seething]'' Why I oughta--\
'''Bruce Wayne''': [[AstonishinglyAppropriateInterruption Hit me]].\
''[The Joker deals Bruce a king and himself a queen and a ten]''\
'''The Joker''': Twenty!\
''[Bruce shows his cards; the nine has [[CardSharp somehow]] become an eight, leaving him with...]''\
'''Bruce Wayne''': Oh, lucky me! Twenty-one. How nice. A little something for the Wayne charity fund. ''[Giving the Joker a single chip from the massive pile he's just swiped from Joker]'' Good night!
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE47BirdsOfAFeather Birds of a Feather]]", Penguin is having dinner with Veronica Vreeland at a fancy restaurant. The other guests start leaving since the last time Penguin stopped by, he robbed the place and all the diners. This leads to the head waiter telling him that the management has decided to comp the pairs meal if they would just please leave. This impresses Veronica because it's common for upscale restaurants to comp the meals of their more distinguished guests.
-->'''Veronica''': I didn't know you had eaten here before!
-->'''Penguin''': I've been known to stop by for a quick carry-out.
** The Penguin's little fit after being caught under a chandelier.
* "The Worry Men" has this gem:
-->'''Batman:''' [[ItMakesSenseInContext What was a Mayan witch doctor doing on the roof of Veronica Vreeland's party?]]
-->'''Alfred''': [[DeadpanSnarker Is this one of those Riddler questions, sir?]]
-->'''Bruce''': No, but it's just as confusing.
* In "[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE37TheStrangeSecretOfBruceWayne The Strange Secret of Bruce Wayne]]", we have [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LuqBr1UDK0 the bidding war]] among Penguin, Joker and Two-Face; the highlight of which being [[FanNickname the second-worst burn Harvey Dent ever received]]:
-->'''Two-Face''': Get out of my face, clown!
-->'''Joker''': ''(grinning)'' Which one?
-->'''Two-Face''': ''(DeathGlare)''
** There's also the three arriving at the resort via plane.
--->'''Joker''': Ahhh, smell that fresh country air! ''[inhales deeply before coughing roughly]'' Ohhh, I hate it!
** Later, after the Batman's sabotaged the plane, forcing a crash landing:
--->'''Joker''': ''[sees empty gas gauge]'' Things just haven't been the same since deregulation!\
''[plane goes into death spiral while Joker let out a [[StockScream Goofy Yodel]]]''
* From "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE11TheUltimateThrill The Ultimate Thrill]]", after Batman makes an emergency landing with the Batwing and accidentally causes some damage.
-->'''Alfred''': This is coming out of your allowance, Master Bruce.
* From "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE9LoveIsACroc Love Is a Croc]]":
** At the beginning, Baby Doll (who's working as a hotel receptionist) gets annoyed by a male tourist who recognizes her. She violently assaults him and adds, "[[CatchPhrase I didn't mean to...]]"
** The whole plot of Baby Doll teaming up with Killer Croc, and the former developing ([[AbhorrentAdmirer one-sided]]) [[OddCouple romantic feelings]] for the latter. And the heroes have these thoughts to share on the matter:
--->'''Batgirl''': [[HotSkittyOnWailordAction What do you suppose they do on a date]]?\
'''Batman''': [[{{Squick}} I don't even want to think about it]].
** When Baby Doll first meets Killer Croc, she speaks in her adult voice completely normally. When She later rescues him, she goes full on in her baby talk. This results in Croc giving her one hell of a "didn't think this through" face.
* The Johnny Cochran [[NoCelebritiesWereHarmed caricature]], who shows up twice on the news just to offer a Cochran-esque rhyme.
** Regarding the Joker's release in "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE7JokersMillions Joker's Millions]]":
-->'''Attorney''': If a man's filled with glee, that man must go free!
** And regarding Harley, Mad Hatter, Riddler, and the Ventriloquist suing Bruce Wayne for assault in "[[Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE12OverTheEdge Over the Edge]]":
-->'''Attorney''': If the bat's on a spree, Wayne must pay the fee!
* In "[[Recap/TheAdventuresOfBatmanAndRobinE18MakeEmLaugh Make Em Laugh]]", the Joker attempts to get revenge on the judges for a stand-up comedy competition he crashed in disguise. At the end, he finally gets some laughs, albeit as a result of a HumiliationConga, while fighting on top of a parade balloon over the competition's trophy:
** First, Robin sends him flying with a kick, causing him to stab the balloon.
** The trophy is launched in the air, landing on his head, where it gets stuck.
** He stumbles off the descending balloon, and Batman goes to save him with the grapple gun.
** It grabs the seat of his pants, pulling them to his ankles. This both leaves him hanging upside down and with his boxers exposed.
** He gets deposited on the ground in front of a large crowd of laughing spectators as the balloon lands on him.
** As the police lead him away, he trips on his pants and faceplants.
** Once in the police van, he puts the trophy back on his head in shame.
* [[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE6TheUnderdwellers "The Underdwellers."]] Mostly it's a disturbing episode because [[SlaveryIsASpecialKindOfEvil Child Slavery Is A Special Kind Of Evil]]. But the sequence when Bruce just blithely leaves Alfred to spend the day "civilizing" Frog, one of the child thieves from the sewers, is a lot of fun. Especially when Alfred teaches Frog table manners... and Frog ''immediately'' steals the silverware when he's not looking.
* In ''[[Recap/BatmanTheAnimatedSeriesE29EternalYouth Eternal Youth]]'', Alfred checks Bruce's mail and he says that he won 10 million dollars. Judging from Alfred and Bruce's reaction, they seem completely oblivious that it's a well-known scam.
* In ''The Cat and Claw Part 1'', Catwoman happily kisses Batman after he saves her. However, Batman keeps his regular stoic expression for most of the beginning, not reacting at all as Catwoman carries the kiss out herself. After several seconds though he seems to finally notice, changing from a stoic expression to a confused one.
** Something similar happens much later in ''Cult of the Cat'', where Catwoman [[ShutUpKiss interrupts Batman while he's talking with a deep kiss]]. Batman just has an annoyed expression during the entire kiss, not returning it at all. Once Catwoman is done, she pulls away with a bright smile, and Batman just asks her "Can we go now?".
* In Recap/TheNewBatmanAdventuresE18TheDemonWithin After Defeating Klarion, Etrigan, who is known to always speak in rhymes, gives us this.
-->'''Batman''': What now?
-->'''Etrigan''': Mother's Grief, Father's Shame, soon he goes to whence he came.
-->'''Robin''': What's that mean?
-->'''Etrigan''': I'm sending him to his room.
** WordOfGod claims that Etrigan is bound by royalty to always rhyme as he speaks, but it's also claimed that he does it to annoy everyone he talks to as much as possible.
** When Robin asks Batman about the night they just had, Batman is having none of it and says to don't ask him.
** After defeating Teekl, Klarion's familiar, Batman orders it to sit like she's a misbehaving pet. The humanoid cat then reverts back to her cat form and meows obediently.
* "I've Got Batman In My Basement"
** Sherman hides the Batmobile by piling ''cardboard boxes'' on top of it.
*** Later, when a pair of kids disturb the boxes and realize there's a tricked-out car underneath, Sherman tries to claim it belongs to a family member, only to realize halfway through how unbelievable it sounds.
---->'''Sherman''': It's my mom--my uncle's...
---->''({{Beat}})''
---->'''Sherman''': Alright, look, it's the Batmobile.
** The kids have successfully beaten back Penguin and his mooks long enough for Batman to recover from Penguin's gas attack and finish taking them down. The kids begin to celebrate their victory... and then Sherman's mom gets home.
--->'''Nicholas''': We're safe!
--->'''Sherman's Mother''': ''(from upstairs)'' My house! SHERMAN!
--->'''Sherman''': Maybe you're safe...
* "Birds of a Feather"
--->'''Penguin''': Tis better to have loved and lost and made a small profit than never to have loved at all.
* ''A Bullet For Bullock''
** Alfred's polite but unflattering description of Bullock. He clearly doesn't think much of the man who looks down on Batman.
--->'''Alfred:''' Harvey Bullock? The detective who [[FatSlob looks like an unmade bed]]?
** Bullock asks WhatDoesThisButtonDo about one of the batmobile's buttons. Batman's answer? Passenger ejector seat.

* According to Creator/KevinConroy, after recording a series of grunts and other noises for fighting scenes, he would then jokingly moan Creator/AndreaRomano's name to lampshade [[OrgasmicCombat how sexual these would sound out of context]] (more so when you realize that the show averts VoicesInOneRoom). And apparently, Andrea saved them all in a {{blooper}} compilation reel for Christmas. It wouldn't be surprising if ''this'' was where Andrea Beaumont got her name...
* DC [=FanDome=] 2020 played a surprise [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUBDcBSP3NQ short video]] intended for "Explore the Multiverse". It featured this Batman talking to [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold Brave and the Bold Batman]], [[WesternAnimation/LegoDCComicsSuperHeroes Lego Batman]] (not [[WesternAnimation/TheLEGOMovie that one]]) and [[WesternAnimation/BatmanBeyond Terry [=McGinnis=]]]. It's as funny as it sounds.
* Although it was only an experiment, someone from 4chan's /co/ board adding more [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzIdotKSHc0 Batman Glare]] into the intro.
** The top-rated comment:
---> Keep in mind he didn't actually take down the thieves himself, he actually shot a batarang out of his eyes to knock the guns out of their hands and then glared at them so hard he shot ANOTHER Batman out of his eyes to beat down the crooks for him.
--->I dare you to prove me wrong, [[Film/PulpFiction I DOUBLE DARE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS]]!!!
