* One possible reason for Ironhide losing his JerkJock streak over time may have had something to do with a shocking realization that he was pulling pranks alongside a 'bot' (Wasp) who, by the end of the '"Autoboot Camp" was (falsely) incriminated as a Decepticon spy.
* The concept of "electronic paint-jobs" works well with explaining why Transformers turn gray when they go offline; the paint-job is maintained only as long as they live.
* Sari's ability to instinctively interface with technology is foreshadowed in "Sari, No One's Home", as she figured out how to bypass the paywall on pay-TV and claims it was easy.
* Why is Sumdac fine with his eight-year-old daughter spending most of her time with the Autobots? Because he knows (even if no one else does) that she's part robot (maybe he even theorized, after meeting the Autobots, that she was part Cybertronian). He probably thought that, by spending time with them, she'd learn to control her robot half when and if it appeared with their help.
* WordOfGod is that the Autobots are a labour force while the Decepticons are a military force -- and thinking about it, they were probably literally ''made'' for these niches. Our main Autobots scan emergency and rescue vehicles (well... kind of. Prime has no engine but he uses flame retardant hoses, and 'Bee is ''technically'' a police car) while the 'Cons only choose military vehicles. 'Cons have superior firepower, but the Autobots have superior engineering skills. Kind of squares up with Sumdac's insistence that his company does not build war robots.
** While we're at it, the "public protector" aspect of the Autobots is kept by the Elite Guard -- many of them take cues from classic superheroes. ([[ComicBook/TheMightyThor Magnus Hammer]]? [[ComicBook/CaptainAmerica Sentinel's shield]]? [[ComicBook/{{Hawkeye}} Rodimus is effectively a big metal Hawkeye]]).
* In the two-parter "Human Error," Sari, upon receiving a motor-scooter that transforms into a backpack, says "I was kind of hoping for something with four wheels." Being part-Cybertronian, this indicates she wants to scan an alt-mode.
** She also is about sixteen physically, which often coincides with four-wheeled vehicles.
* Some were confused when it was revealed that Bulkhead was an expert on Space Bridges and why it was never brought up earlier. Well, it could have been done earlier; IF in Episode 1, the Autobots didn't find the All-Spark, Bulkhead could have done something with the space bridge and showed his prowess with them long before. He wanted to be a Space Bridge engineer and likely studied like crazy to get it right.
** Or it could be the fact that the team was clearing rubble in the first episode, rather than needing to carry out any mechanical repairs to the Space Bridge.
* Why does Longarm look [[NonStandardCharacterDesign weird]], like having that weird scuba-mask? Shockwave has to compensate.
** Why does Longarm's facial expressions seem awkward and stilted in comparison to other Cybertronians? Shockwave is not only TheStoic, but he also isn't used to having a face to express emotions with.
** Same goes for his body movement. Shockwave isn't used to moving around with his body like that.
* With the revelation that Sari is a techno-organic, the Allspark didn't intend to make the Key back in the first episode. It was aiming for her chest, where her spark is. Sari's security key was in the way. Otherwise, she would've been upgraded just like she would've been in [="TransWarped"=].
** Another thing to note from the first episode is that the nanotech-roach monster only seems to go after machines. It absorbs a number of vehicles, [[IneffectualLoner Prowl]], and then attacks Sari – a big hint to [[OrganicTechnology her true nature]]. Granted it could just be a case of her being in the wrong place at the wrong time, whilst the other humans were out of range, but it’s a bit too much of a coincidence...
* Why does Sentinel seem to hate organic life more than any other Cybertronian (even Megatron, who was willing to humor or work with humans at times)? Because one of his best friends died as a result of a visit to an organic planet, and later (as he learns in Season 3) became part organic. While the stigma against organic life exists among the Autobots even before Team Prime landed on Earth, most Cybertronians seem capable of either changing their views (like Team Prime, Jazz, and a few other Autobots) or setting them aside in favor of completing a mission (i.e. Ultra Magnus). Before the visit to the spider planet where Elita-1 was left behind, Sentinel seemed indifferent to the organic life there (only caring that the spiders threatening their group). By Season 2, he has the Jerkass attitude towards humans that he'll maintain for the rest of the series.
** The Cybertronian's fear of organics being strong enough to let Sari and Fanzone intimidate much larger robotic lifeforms makes a staggering amount of sense when one realizes that space barnacles that can drain any machine of its energy and mutate so they can turn a Cybertronian into a zombie are a very known threat to them. That alone would make them wary of any organic life, especially if the barnacle possession can be reversed with [[spoiler: hot water, something that Cybertron would not have in abundance if at all]].
* Another definition of 'ultimate' is 'last'. When the crime syndicate allied themselves with Swindle and named themselves the Society of Ultimate Villainy, they went down a path that lead that crime spree to be their last.
* Why, when they reappear, were Bumblebee's Turbo Boosters suddenly under his control? Well it's a fair bet that either Bumblebee and Sari went back to Issac with feedback and he fixed the errors, or that Ratchet did it, likely acknowledging the fact that they could be useful in the future.
* From a certain point of view Ramjet is in fact the most honest character in the show; because he is a compulsive liar everything he says is a lie, and if you take that into account then you no nothing he says is true then you know that the ''opposite'' of everything he says is true, meaning that the bot who never tells the truth can never actually lie.
* Megatron has another reason beyond ''actually being offlined'' by Starscream to distrust him: per the Allspark Almanac ''he himself'' was a successful TheStarscream to his predecessor. The moment he realized what Starscream was up to, he would not let history repeat itself.
* Given the timing of the malfunctioning service bot and his general disdain for robots, it is quite likely that the malfunctioning condiment bot was specifically timed by Prometheus Black when trying to butter up Fanzone to better set up a deal.
* Since Cliffjumper has died twice in [[WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime two]] [[Film/{{Bumblebee}} projects]] since then, many have assumed the character has become little more than a SacrificialLamb. Yet this Cliffjumper isn't dead. This isn't just a case of FranchiseOriginalSin: Because since he has to work for [[{{Jerkass}} Sentinel Prime]], he's already dead on the inside.
* One may notice the human villains are all to some extent [[DiscoDan Disco Dans]], or in the case of Professor Princess are very immature. Why is this? because their fashion and speaking sensibilities make them stuck in the past versus moving on from their own flaws, much like how another antagonistic character, a certain blue crankshaft, won't change himself and his bad side, unlike the Autobots and both Sari, Sumdac, and even Fanzone, who all get CharacterDevelopment.
* Why does Jetfire look so different from most other versions of himself in this series? When you consider that ''[[Anime/TransformersCybertron Cybertron]]'' Jetfire turned into a green cargo plane and ''[[Film/TransformersRevengeOfTheFallen Revenge of the Fallen]]'' Jetfire turned into an [=SR-71=] Blackbird whose robot mode was a bearded, hunched-over old man, one could say that Hasbro was ''experimenting'' with different versions of him at that time, which is very fitting-- The original Jetfire was a scientist.
* This version of Wreck-Gar seems to be a CompositeCharacter of the Junkions as a whole. The Junkions came from a planet made of garbage, they were big fans of Earth pop culture, and their theme was a song by Music/WeirdAlYankovic. ''Animated'' Wreck-Gar is made of garbage and turns into a garbage truck, was created on Earth, and is voiced by Weird Al himself.
* If Bulkhead is a space bridge expert, then why is he assigned to Optimus Prime's group? Well, in Autoboot Camp, he didn't need to show off his skills and it's highly likely [[{{Jerkass}} Sentinel]] wouldn't believe him and if Bulkhead was believed, he would have to work alongside other people and not his best friend.
* It's never explicitly stated just what aspect of Starscream is represented by Slipstream, but given her behavior (she's always insulting and rude to him primarily, and also attacks what she assumes to be Starscream in one of the later episodes), it could be theorized that she represents Starscream's self-hatred underneath his ego and need to be in charge. She never has anything positive to say about him, and when the opportunity presents itself, she and the other Starscream Clones leave him to rot.

[[AC: FridgeHorror]]
* Professor Princess is a pretty silly character, but ask yourself this-what is a 6 year old girl doing running around Detroit blowing stuff up? [[ChildSoldiers Where did she get all these weapons or learn how to use them?]] And worst of all, [[ParentalAbandonment ''where are her parents?'']]
** While the ParentalAbandonment thing is a fair thing, it's stated that she actually has a [[ChildProdigy PHD]] and it's implied that she built her tech herself.
* At the end of the series, Sari decides to travel to Cybertron to learn more about her Cybertronian heritage. Cybertron, at that point, is ''technically'' still led by Sentinel (acting) Magnus, who is so biophobic that he viewed Blackarahnia as an abomination-mockery of the Autobot she used to be. How do you think he'll react to discovering what Sari actually is?
** In the script reading "The Return of Blurr", Sentinel's only response to Sari, Arcee and the Blurr cube rushing into the room where he is is to demand to know how they got past security. Evidentially, either Sentinel is not bothered by Sari or he's just being pragmatic due to Optimus Prime and his team.
** It's entirely possible that he simply sees her as some unusually small Autobot, since he doesn't seem to pay much attention to her whenever they're on screen together, and never learns that she's half-human.
* The Allspark Almanac revealed [[http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ClVhPi6jEyU/Wc97uchCFYI/AAAAAAAAAHU/pjRm3LozxOUCwA8eDs6OtiGympVEmpDKQCHMYCw/s1600/RCO110.jpg the Astrography of the Animated Galaxy]]. This reveals where Earth is relative to Cybertron....and that it's right at the door step of the [[EvilEmpire Quintesson Pan Galactic Co-Prosperity Sphere]]. Yeah, Earth is basically the next in line to be part of the Quintesson domain. Even if the All Spark hadn't found its way to Earth, Earth was going to get alien invasions. The Earth's best hope is probably the Autobots presence being a deterrent to the Quintessons, and even that is hardly guaranteed.
* The disguised (and then unrevealed) Blurr spent the majority of the episode "Velocity" under the control of Master Disaster, who was making him run people off of the road. Cybertronians, even when controlled by Disaster's device, can still think for themselves and are aware of what's happening to them. Watch the episode again knowing that Blurr is ''aware'' of what Disaster is doing (without him being able to stop it) and this episode gets dark fast...
* In the episode "S.U.V.: Society Of Ultimate Villainy," Swindle creates and activates a device capable of stopping anything and everything mechanical in its proverbial tracks - and this really ''did'' affect the entire city. Obvious NightmareFuel aside, consider the impact this event had on ''humans''. Think about it. Anyone who had a pacemaker or respirator, or who was on life support, or who was being operated on at that time... in short, anyone who was relying on ''machines'' for survival. And let's not forget the airport. Or any number of other things. You really have to wonder how many people Swindle maimed or ''killed'' in that episode.
** Not to mention Swindle's implied fate: Fanzone (who either didn't know or didn't care about Swindle being a Cybertronian) said that he would be stripped for parts and sold at a police auction. The Autobots ''hear'' him say this, and make no move to stop him. What had Swindle done (aside from being a Decepticon) that the Autobots thought he deserved that fate?
* The character Lockdown is a big bag of Fridge Horror - he's a bounty hunter who has a penchant for taking weapons and upgrades from his targets as trophies. Parts that are, more often than not, [[OrganTheft part of said robot's body]]. He's a serial maimer, one who takes pleasure in mutilating others, and keeping (and often times, using) his 'trophies' to acquire more. "I'm not good with names and faces, but I never forget a trophy." [[DracoInLeatherPants And this guy has fangirls just piling up at his feet]].
** Emphasis on ''serial maimer.'' It's shown throughout ''WesternAnimation/TransformersAnimated'' that Transformers feel pain. Optimus waking up StrappedToAnOperatingTable with his grappler removed and attached to Lockdown is less like [[Franchise/{{Batman}} Bruce Wayne]] getting his GrapplingHookPistol stolen and more like [[Film/SpiderManTrilogy Movieverse Peter Parker]] waking up [[BodyHorror with his web-shooting glands surgically removed]] ''[[NightmareFuel and stitched and fully functional on his tormentor.]]'' It's no wonder why Ratchet implies at the end of the episode that it was a traumatic event for Optimus.
* Blitzwing tearing off Ratchet's arm to get Sari's Key. In the next scene he shows up, he's still got the Key, but there's no sign of the arm. Probably just left it around somewhere, right? Except in a later episode, Blitzwing just happens to mention [[ImAHumanitarian how much he loves servo salad]]...
* Cyclonus' few minutes on the show and his entry in Allspark Almanac II all but confirm that Megatron will become Galvatron someday. Everything the Autobots did in this series will ultimately be undone and Megatron will be reborn as an even greater threat. And because the series is over, we'll never get to see if it turns out okay in the end.
** There's some pretty heavy hinting that [[TheDragon Cyclonus]] used to be [[DirtyCoward Skywarp]]. Yeah, ''[[IneffectualSympatheticVillain that]]'' [[TheWoobie Skywarp]]. Kinda makes you wonder just ''[[TraumaCongaLine what]]'' happened to the [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse poor guy]] after the series ended, doesn't it?
* In the name of creating an "organic transformer," human villain [[PlayingWithSyringes Meltdown]] mutated ''at least'' two humans (his lawyer and stock broker, for those curious) into horrifying [[MixAndMatchCritters fusion creatures]], and [[DisproportionateRetribution out of petty revenge]] was '''dangerously''' close to doing the same exact same thing to his business rival Professor Sumdac's ''eight-year-old child Sari.'' Consider Sari's part-cybertronian heritage and the end results wouldn't have been pretty.
* It kind of makes you wonder just what exactly goes on in the Stockade to drive Wasp insane...
** The Timeline comics shows that the prisoners are kept in small cramped up cells that leave no room for them to transform to vehicle mode. GoMadFromTheIsolation maybe?
** He also knew the whole time that he was innocent of what he'd been accused of, but no one believed him. If he even got a trial (does Cybertron ''have'' a justice system, or is everyone imprisoned upon being arrested?), he clearly had no one on his side. Spending untold years imprisoned for something you didn't do and having no friends or anyone who believed you would hurt ''anyone's'' mental state. It also explains his odd speech pattern: he probably got into the habit of talking to himself.

[[AC: FridgeSadness]]
* Starscream’s clones are programmed to represent exactly one facet of Starscream’s personality. This being TheStarscream, it’s not a pleasant prospect. They’ll spend the rest of their lives as a DirtyCoward, a JerkAss, a SycophanticServant, a chronic liar, and... [[YouDoNotWantToKnow something]]. In every case, they're pretty much doomed never to be happy.
** Well, Derrick Wyatt explained in an interview that he intended to have the clones evolve into individuals the longer they remained online. While the concept appears to have been dropped, who's to say it won't still happen?
* In Season 1, Prowl mentions that every protoform (aka Cybertronian babies/young children) is taught how to fight from an early age. Cybertron has been at war with the Decepticons so long that every member of the cast was or is a ChildSoldier.
** Bumblebee, when briefly turned human, is basically the equivalent of a ''teenager'' (though that does explain some of his character traits)...
* Blackarachnia's faux big sister-figure interactions with Sari are a reflection of had things been different: Blackarachnia making a HeelFaceTurn or Optimus being the one lost on Archa-Seven while Elita lived.
** In addition, it's ironic that Sari interacted with her more than any other Decepticon because the both of them are techno-organics. One must wonder how Blackarachnia would've reacted to ''that'' news in Season 3...

[[AC: FridgeLogic]]
* In Wreck-Gar's official bio, it explains that he watches a lot of TV, and believes everything in the internet is true. As in the Transformers Wiki, ''how he does this in the bottom of the ocean'' makes you wonder, unless he can access the internet in his internal memory as the live action Optimus said they learned various languages in the internet, including eBay.
