* During the arc wherein Aron pretends to be a woman in a lesbian relationship with Trixie to get close to his latest crush Audrey, a drunken Trixie brags about Aron and "her" sexual prowess. Her comments, while obviously trying to make Aron sound presentable, are also a CallBack to her relationship with Beth (especially the parts about being shy in appearance and being "a bit butt-obsessed"). It's even more apt to realize that the hairstyle she gave Aron to make him look like a girl is also reminiscent of Beth's.

* Webcomic/Original Life is a comic with Funny Animals, so there are a few breeds of dog hanging around, and one is a doberman. With sheared ears.
** Extreme body-mods (bisected tongues spring to mind) are becoming increasingly popular among humans these days, it's possible it's just the dog equivalent. After all, in an early Webcomic/KevinAndKell strip, Rudy was bugging his mother for a bite-notch in his ear ...
*** How often do you see 10-year-old children with extreme body mods? It's more likely Jay has never seen what a Doberman's ears naturally look like.
* Also, consider the Muffins Arc. Besides one brief mention of the teachers not being happy with a student practicing vigilantism on bullies, there's no signs of any adult authority. The arc ends with a full-blown student riot, as a kid is attacked, and his muffin stand is torn down. Apparently, this is a school where teachers just ignore things like that.
* Fisk just admitted he likes having kids because he can "warp" them. That's the actual word he used.
** He knows for a fact that Red is just asking because she wants to get in his pants, and does not actually care about his viws on fatherhood. And even then, wanting to influence your children is certainly not an example of FridgeHorror.
*** Why the hell is this comment ever taken seriously? He's just making a joke!
* Abby decided to sell her untested muscle growth hormone without FDA approval, despite it still being a prototype with no long-term testing and some known worrying side effects (which amount to bugs that haven't been worked out yet). That's bad enough, but it's been previously demonstrated that one of the drug's side effects is a lack of sexual boundaries. How many people were raped by her customers under the influence of "Ferrigno Fluid"?
** Note this is 'lack of sexual boundaries' as defined by a kid whose age is not yet at double digits. For all her intelligence, she still acts like a little kid. So 'lack of sexual boundaries' may simply be that they actually talked to the opposite sex.
*** The DEA directors do not mention a spike in rape statistics as one of the consequences of the drug, so that is probably not the case. And not only was the "lack of sexual boundaries" noted by a kid, it was based on another kid's behavior. Contrary to popular belief, grown adults are generally a lot better at handling their urges than children, even on drugs.
** The real FridgeHorror here is that Abigail is inventing chemicals like this at age six, and is being given no counseling or preventive restrictions whatsoever to keep her or others from abusing her gifts in the absence of an adult's judgement. This is by far Fisk's most glaring and potentially dangerous mistake as a parent after he personally catches her supplying a drug empire.
* Fisk works for an organization that, according to the back-story in Better Days, has no connection to any government, operates in multiple countries, answers to nobody, and murders people. This essentially makes Fisk a professional terrorist.
** Um, no, the fact that they are illegal, operate in multiple countries and assassinate criminals and terrorists does not make them terrorists themselves by that word's definition. And considering that the organization is an off-shoot of the CIA that went fully undercover after Vietnam because they were too easily compromised, they probably still work by pre-Nixon CIA protocols.
*** Still doesn't change the fact that, even if they have good intentions, they are a multi-national operating intelligence agency with no oversight and god (or their accountants) only knows how unlimited a budget with their basic mission statement being 'destroy America's enemies'. This does not always have to be terrorists or criminal organizations, but also other political bodies. That right there is pretty damned terrifying.
*** That's how major intelligence and black-ops agencies operate the world over, state-funded or no, and a lot of them are perfectly valid sources of FridgeHorror. Fisk's organization is not a particularly brutal example, though. There are no references to the murder of "political bodies" anywhere in either comic, and neither are so-called unlimited budgets ever alluded to.
*** Stating that the organization "probably still work[s] by pre-Nixon CIA protocols" is not at all reassuring, considering that before Nixon ever came around, the CIA had already been involved in the overthrow of multiple governments (including that of in one operation that had some unintended negative consequences further down the line) and touched off the Bay of Pigs fiasco, and when that failed spent a decade or so coming up with ridiculous plans to assassinate Fidel Castro. And that doesn't even count comparatively minor things like experimenting on people with LSD and other drugs without their informed consent.
*** Probably the biggest source of FridgeHorror is that, unlike with other groups, it seems they determine their own targets and not a higher body or authority and that their standards are "anybody we think deserves it and in the way we think they deserve it", with Fisk even admitting as such. This includes a guy who, while a total bastard and attempted rapist, had already been beaten to the point of hospitalization by Fisk, was in police custody and on top of all that, they convince the man's own doctor to betray the Hippocratic Oath and do the deed. He was no longer a threat to anyone and was going to face justice.
