* The Battle Fight is an event where Undeads fight each other till one is left standing and is declared the winner, with some cases being pacts or alliances. In real life, that's how nature works, ranging from the food chains, animals clasing with one another for the sake of their species, to even some animals getting along via mutualism.
* [[spoiler:Hajime's feral instinct might reflect his true identity as Joker, the ''wild''card.]]
* Isaka being able to inflict other Undeads via AgonyBeam could be one reason why he was the only active Royal Club within the first chunk of the show. With that abiity, any others who despised him and tried to fight back would end up in pain and under his control (as shown with the Zebra Undead). Once Isaka was out of the way thanks to Tachibana, the other Royal Clubs would be free to be able to gradually started taking action at least one by one, days after he got sealed.
* Explanations for Miyuki being a FauxActionGirl as well as her inability to succeed in any of her schemes or cause any lasting impact:
** Miyuki's associated species are orchids, which are flowers. Plants are producers, which are at the bottom of the food chain, which could also be why she easily lost against Daichi, of all Undeads, whose associated animal species are primary consumers, just right above producers in the food chain.
** Orchids (or rather, flowers in general) aren't exactly fighters themselves, so no matter how skilled Miyuki is with acting nice and being manipulative, being succesful in her fights isn't exactly one of them.
** In general, she is the only Royal Club to be plant-based while all the others are associated with animals, many of which were either able to leave lasting impact to the heroes by the time they got sealed or at the very least have enough strength to endure a fight for a certain while.
** Maybe concidental, but for how she used him and broke his heart, Miyuki comes off as even less proficient than Kotaro, who at times, is a ButtMonkey. Apart from Shima, Miyuki is arguably the only other Royal Club Kotaro ever had deep interactions with. It's possible Kotaro's luck throughout the show is also reflected with Miyuki as well.
* Even if Kotaro was able to change Miyuki, there's still one problem: She's an Undead, and with her [[CompleteImmortality immortality]], she would've ended up outliving Kotaro plus a majority of the cast someday. It's possible Miyuki was aware of this, hence why she strangled Kotaro.
* Elephants tend to be animals just minding their own business, but can be quite brtual when provoked, [[AnimalStereotypes much like with Daichi]].
* Daichi proven to be rather powerful for the heroes to defeat (at least until Shima gave Kenzaki his Rouse Absorber to use for Jack Form) echoes how elephants are the largest land mammals and how some have killed humans.
* Shima is quite a [[NiceGuy friendly guy]] to be with despite being the Tarantula Undead. There are such things as harmless spiders.
* Shima's [[BlowYouAway wind abilities]], especially when showing Mutsuki Nozomi's feelings and concern for him, could likely be his version of a tarantula web.
* Kenzaki's main card motif (Ace of Spades) as well as those of the first three Royal Clubs with a deep amount of focus in their respective tenures coincidentally match those of the main four members of Series/JAKQDengekitai.
* King loved causing messes for his own entertainment. He was also the indirect reason for Hajime [[spoiler:gradually losing control of himself and turning back into the Joker Undead, while also further elaborating to Kenzaki on the Joker's presence destroying the planet if he won the Battle Fight.]] How many episodes was King's tenure? [[FourIsDeath Four]]. No wonder King was able to cause that much damage in such a short duration.
* Rather coincidental, but during the period of Hajime [[spoiler:first being berserk as Joker]], five of his Undeads were temporarily unsealed thanks to Mutsuki during his fight with Hikaru, [[spoiler:only resealed by Joker himself.]] Thankfully, Kenzaki managed to reclaim those five Rouse Cards and during his path to [[spoiler:turning Hajime back to normal]], he ended up making a deal with Mutsuki by giving him his Evolution Caucasus Card in exchange for Hajime's four remaining Cards. The Cards in question? Categories 3, 6, 9, & Queen - numbers/terms set apart by 3 each. As for them not being unsealed during that time, the Orchid Undead suit was remodified for the Serpent Undead suit while the show made it clear that some Undeads were already sealed before the start, which include the other three.
* Given that Chalice often assume the appearances of other Undeads as his forms (with Mantis being for his Ace Form), there is a reason why Wild Chalice looked nothing liked Paradoxa (who debuted in ''Decade'' instead). Said form is called ''Wild'' Chalice, not Chalice King Form, meaning it's possible that the form is essentially a design and color upgrade of Mantis and not squarely the Pardoxa Undead's appearance.
* Leangle actually seemed to get ''stronger'' after the Spider Undead was sealed the second time, even though he didn't get a stronger form. Why? The Catagory Ace had an influence on him because it wasn't sealed correctly the first time, after being sealed correctly, the system could fully use his powers.
* There's a couple situations that seem to be deliberately ironic reversals of things seen [[Series/KamenRider555 last year]]. In ''555'', the Riders were the doing of [[spoiler:the original, good leader of the evil organization]]. In ''Blade'', the Riders were the doing of [[spoiler:the original, evil leader of the good organization]]. Also, in ''555,'' PoorCommunicationKills. In ''Blade,'' the MonsterOfTheWeek impersonating Riders to sow discord [[spoiler: is resolved very quickly by the characters checking with each other and assuming the ''obvious''.]] In ''555'', the cast would never ''dream'' of doing that, and such a situation would've resulted in everyone hating each other for ten episodes, surely. Don't know whether that's an affectionate nod or a TakeThat.
** Given that the guy who wrote the episodes with the MonsterOfTheWeek impersonating people is the same person who wrote all of ''555'', it's possible that it's something of a SelfParody.
* Why does Kenzaki have an unusually high fusion coefficiency? Because the Undead are meant to be warriors fighting solely to protect the future of their species, and Kenzaki's mindset of gaining power for the sole purpose of protecting others matches this perfectly.
* Coincidentaly, the first and last of the Royal Clubs to appear in the show (Isaka and Kanai) [[BookEnds both belong to the Suit of Diamonds]].
* The [[CreepyCockroach Darkroachi]] have been shown to be very feral and powerful, with the swarms overwhelming even those that were able to fight back, [[spoiler:only disappearing once Kenzaki became a Joker]]. Given how durable and plentiful cockroaches are in real life, as well as people's fears of them...

* While the scene was meant to be PlayedForLaughs, imagine if Azumi/Serpent Undead was in human form when Ryo slammed a hot taiyaki plate on her face instead of her already in Undead form.
