* Before Ryu Ranger summons Ryuseioh in the first episode, Master Kaku is shown to be mediating. By episode five, Kaku reveals his meditations were actually to provide Ryu Ranger compensation for lacking his Treasure Lai Lai Pearl.

* [[spoiler: Kou]] is the only one of the original Dairangers who doesn't reappear for the WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue, leading some fans to speculate that he could have [[spoiler: turned to clay like Shadam]]. However, [[spoiler:Lin has a photo of a middle-aged Kou and it's implied they were married]], suggesting that he lived for some time after the main events of the show.
** These speculations more than likely came from fans who didn't speak Japanese watching the raws and guessing at what the characters were saying. Lin's dialog during the pan over the photos in question explains that [[spoiler: Kou]] couldn't attend the Dairanger's reunion due to a business meeting.
* [[spoiler: Master Kaku]] reveals in the finale that the Dai Tribe's Chiryoku and the Gorma Tribe's Yoryoku are two sides of the same coin, with the tribes destined to fight in an endless battle for survival. And since Kaku failed to take the Gorma with his death, Daijinryu's return is an inevitability that would led to mutually ensured destrction. No wonder the epilogue has Ryo look terrified while watching his grandson transform into the new Ryu Ranger.
** Also, the reveal of Shadam being a clay replica of the original can have one wonder if whoever created him, and leads the new generation of Gorma in the epilogue, was trying to force Daijinryu's hand all along.

* Also consider the odds that Kiryoku and Yoryoku may not be the only things that would warrant Daijinryu's attention, since later Super Sentai teams faced various beings that would also register as an universal threat in their own right like Zyuohger's Azald. Of course, the horror of this one is somewhat diminished by Toei's lax approach to narrative continuity across seasons.
