*** Takeru Takaishi/T.K. Takaishi (Sanguine): TagalongKid who's very emotional because of his age. He's very nice and easigoing but also ProneToTears. Nonetheless, he's very optimistic and would prove his worth over time.

*** Kars: The choleric. The BigBad always dead-set on his goals of achieving pure invulnerability without giving a care as to what anyone else thinks.
*** Esidisi: The sanguine. The most eccentric of the Pillar Men who's prone to using extremely cheap tactics to outwit his opponents.
*** Wamuu: The melancholic. He always treats his battles with honor, wanting to evaluate if who he fights is a WorthyOpponent and saving his insta-win methods for lesser targets.
*** Santana: The phlegmatic. Having been brought back into the world after aeons, he's both curious of his new surroundings, as well as how much humanity has evolved past his time.

*** Yoshikage Kira: The phlegmatic. Being a psychopathic SerialKiller, his detachment from reality lets him believe he lives a normal life, and he won't get into fights unless he's provoked, or if someone tries to interfere with his passively murderous tendencies.
*** Diavolo: The choleric. He's hellbent on keeping his position from being overthrown, and won't pull any punches when it comes to protecting himself and his host personality, Vinegar Doppio. Being the boss of Passione, he controls most of Italy with his distribution of drugs, which makes everyone about as AxCrazy as he is, and he rarely ever regrets his actions.
*** Enrico Pucci: The melancholic. Being misguided under the teachings of DIO, Pucci strives to reset the universe to the point of everybody knowing their own destiny, seeing it as the best way to free the world from the suffering it's long been put through, and achieve "Heaven" in the process. 173*** Ungalo: The melancholic. Has the most artistic integrity and creative passion of the four, but squanders it all on his self-loathing and lazy habits that make life feel worthless to him.
*** Rikiel: The sanguine. While he has a streak of self-confidence issues, he eventually breaks free of them to become the most outgoing and bombastic of the four who feels he can take on anybody.
*** Donatello Versus: The choleric. The most like DIO in terms of personality, he's very self-centered and short-tempered, wanting to be the only person in the world to achieve happiness while everyone else is left to rot.

** The Kiryuin Conglomerate:
*** Melancholic: Ragyo -- The Big Bad of the series and an all-around pompous character whenever she gets her moments. She showcases the negatives more than the positive features, had abnormally high wants when she was testing her own daughters, but when they do fulfill them, she is filled with glee.
*** Choleric: Nui -- Arguably Co Dragons with Rei to Ragyo, and the one who gets the most work done initially while Ragyo sits around and controls REVOCS. Showcases the downsides by being outwardly nice, extremely crazy inside, and even more insane after normal Ryuko cuts off her arms.
*** Phlegmatic: Rei -- The person able to serve at a moment's notice, and without question. However, she showcases the downsides by being an outwardly cold person. Exemplifies this part of her personality in the OVA by being a DefrostingIceQueen when she heard of Ragyo's death, and was able to be swayed by Satsuki.
*** Sanguine: Mind-Controlled Ryuko -- Instead of unable to express her emotions, she says them bluntly, taking them (sometimes literally) to the person she speaks to. Ryuko even kisses Nui, showcasing their love for each other. She balances out the other's negative emotions by being compassionate with them and follows after Ragyo by being way over-the-top in battles, but she showcases the negatives by being mind-controlled into finally finding her wants of being with an actual family and comes off as harsh to others.

** Phlegmatic: Lotte Jansson. The levelheaded, albeit shy, NiceGirl.
** Melancholic: Sucy Manbavaran. The aloof, apathetic DeadpanSnarker.
** Choleric: Diana Cavendish. The blunt, confident JerkWithAHeartOfGold.
** Eclectic: Ursula Callistis/Chariot du Nord. The calm, yet charismatic, BadassTeacher.
* The Hinata House Girls in Manga/LoveHina:
** Naru Narusegawa & Motoko Aoyama (choleric), Mitsune Konno (melancholic), Kaolla Su (sanguine), Shinobu Maehara (phlegmatic), and Mutsumi Otohime (eclectic).
* Franchise/LoveLive: By generation...
** Anime/LoveLive - μ's:
*** Honoka and her ChildhoodFriends in either material fit this dynamic: the Sanguine is Honoka - cheerful, friendly, passionate and outgoing; the Choleric is Eli - bold, confident, logical and assertive; the Phlegmatic is Kotori - kind, loyal, selfless even to a fault and indecisive, and the Melancholic is Umi - shy, serious, logical, mature and strict, but kind and loyal as well.
*** The remaining five members fit the dynamic as well. In this FiveTemperamentEnsemble, the Sanguine is Rin - arguably even more energetic and outgoing than Honoka, tomboyish, playful and cheerful; the Choleric is Nico - brash, abrasive, self-absorbed and irritable; the Phlegmatic is Nozomi - kind, quiet, pretty mature and levelheaded yet not without a mischievous streak; the Melancholic is Tsundere Maki - aloof, overly prideful, standoffish and independent, and the Eclectic is Hanayo - a very meek and shy girl, who gains confidence thanks to her CharacterDevelopment and has a very passionate side, mainly reserved to idols.
** Anime/LoveLiveSunshine - Aqours:
*** Chika and her three closer friends fit this dynamic, though with a slight variation as the Choleric is missing - so, she is the Eclectic (cheerful, kind, sociable, optimistic and outgoing, but suffers more inner conflict than she lets on and has low self-esteem), You is the Sanguine (also very friendly, approachable, cheerful and kind, yet somewhat impulsive and tomboyish), Kanan is the Phlegmatic (while athletic, she's generally the most mature, composed and quiet one, and very kind and motherly) and Riko is the Melancholic (also a NiceGirl like the others but more reserved and shy, and while intelligent and generally level-headed she easily freaks out).
*** Going with the remaining members, they fit the five temperaments perfectly; Hanamaru is the Phlegmatic (kind, level-headed, and cheerful, yet bookish and quiet), Ruby is the Eclectic (a combination of Melancholic and Sanguine, as while she is very shy and kind of a crybaby, she's also energetic, cheerful, passionate and bubbly), Yoshiko is the Melancholic (although she comes across as extroverted and hammy, she is indeed rather shy, socially awkward and insecure, and is incredibly unlucky), Mari is the Sanguine (cheerful, eccentric, friendly and kind yet rather mischievous) and Dia is the Choleric (hard-working, loud, passionate, hammy, melodramatic and the temperamental tsundere).
** Anime/LoveLiveNijigasakiHighSchoolIdolClub - [=NijiGaku=]:
*** The four members of the [=QU4RTZ=] subunit fit the four temperaments. Kind, laid-back sleepyhead Kanata is Phlegmatic; brash, passionate and mischievous Kasumi is Choleric; shy, emotionally stunted and introverted Rina is Melancholic, and cheerful, friendly and kind Emma is Sanguine.
*** Averted with A•ZU•NA, despite forming a group of four when Yuu helps them forming the subunit, while listening to the story written by Shizuku: charismatic and energetic Yuu and Setsuna are more Sanguine, while quiet and slightly shy Shizuku and Ayumu are more Phlegmatic.
** Anime/LoveLiveSuperstar - Liella!:
*** Kanon is Eclectic or Phlegmatic Type 2 (well-balanced, neither too extroverted nor really introverted, kind, levelheaded, somewhat shy yet quite cheerful and playful), Keke is Sanguine (very cheerful, extroverted, energetic and friendly, and always optimistic and fun-loving), Chisato is a blend of Sanguine and Phlegmatic (outgoing, cheerful, friendly and energetic, yet calmer and milder than Keke), Sumire is Choleric (the AttentionWhore who is a little brash and self-absorbed, very pretentious, dramatic and over-the-top in her behavior) and Ren is Melancholic (independent, strong-willed and perfectionistic, and while she can come across as aloof and distant she's actually a genuinely nice person).
* The main characters of Manga/LuckyStar:
** Sanguine: Konata Izumi, the eccentric and mischievous OtakuSurrogate, who is always playful and lives in her own world.
** Choleric: Kagami Hiiragi, the group's stereotypical Tsundere, who is brash and a bit egotistical but ultimately good-natured.
** Phlegmatic: Tsukasa Hiiragi, the innocent, nonconfrontational CloudCuckooLander, who is kinda shy but is always sweet and friendly.
** Melancholic: Miyuki Takara, the intelligent, polite and studious Meganekko, who is just as sweet and innocent as Tsukasa, but also by far more grounded in reality (as dorky as she may be).
* Anime/MacrossDelta
** Delta Squadron:
*** Eclectic: Hayate Immelman. Brash, carefree rookie.
*** Sanguine: Chuck Mustang. Sociable, the "mood maker" of Delta.
*** Choleric: Mirage Farina Jenius. Mission focused, has a volatile attitude.
*** Melancholic: Messer Ihlefeld. The ace, has a serious demeanor.
*** Phlegmatic: Arad Mölders. The oldest member of the team as well as the leader of Delta.
** Walküre:
*** Eclectic: Freyja Wion. New member of the team, has a great love for singing
*** Sanguine: Makina Nakajima. Bubbly, carries an air of happiness around her.
*** Choleric: Mikumo Guynemer. The most action-oriented member of the team.
*** Melancholic: Reina Prowler. Stoic, quiet, close-minded.
*** Phlegmatic: Kaname Buccaneer. The leader, acts as the manages schedules and mission briefings.
* Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanohaStrikers. natural leader (former) Tsundere Teana (choleric), knight-in-training Erio (melancholic), Caro (phlegmatic), and GenkiGirl Pollyanna Subaru (sanguine). The last two's personalities actually caused a bit of family drama for their also melancholic adopted mother in the second StrikerS Sound Stage, since their combined introvertedness caused some communication problems.
* Manga/MissKobayashisDragonMaid: Kobayashi and the three main dragons.
** Melancholic: Kobayashi. Hard-working, introverted, and compassionate.
** Sanguine: Tohru. Hyperactive, cheerful, and reckless.
** Phlegmatic: Kanna. Stoic, sarcastic, and completely lacking in social skills.
** Choleric: Ilulu. Spiteful, narrow-minded, and very confrontational... at first.
* The main male characters from Manga/MyHeroAcademia fit this perfectly:
** Melancholic: Izuku Midoriya. Shy, altruistic, and cripplingly insecure.
** Choleric: Katsuki Bakugo. Vicious, prideful, and extremely antagonistic.
** Phlegmatic: Shoto Todoroki. Disciplined, modest, and has a strong sense of justice.
** Sanguine: Eijiro Kirishima. Kind, confident, and HotBlooded.
** Ecletic: Tenya Iida. Acts both unemotional and emotional, making him the most balanced of the five.
* Manga/Naruto The original Team 7:
** Sanguine: Naruto Uzumaki. Cheeky and high-spirited, but also the quickest to lose his temper for better or worse cases. He's very simple-minded and naive at first, but that only adds to his charm.
** Choleric: Sakura Haruno. Studious yet short-tempered and a constant Tsundere. She often knocks Naruto back in line, whenever he (or anyone) acts foolish. At first she was helpless and not very skilled, but overtime became a powerhouse as she matured.
** Melancholic: Sasuke Uchiha. Distant, aloof and internally sensitive. He didn't value people very much (let alone his conrades), and was obsessed with vengeance and power. He was clearly the most bitter member of the team, but later learns a very harsh lesson in bonds and friendship.
** Phlegmatic: Kakashi Hatake. One of the calmest and chill characters of the series. Though he was formerly Melancholic as a kid, he opened up to people after tragedy struck his life. Deceptively nonchalant, he's the backbone of the team who tries his best to keep his students cooperative, despite the unfortunate incidents that would follow.
** The first five Hokages:
** Sanguine: Hashirama Senju. The optimistic founder of Konoha, who wanted to establish peace between all clans by creating a village. A man who even befriended Madara Uchiha, despite having every qualm and reason not to.
** Melancholic: Tobirama Senju & Hiruzen Sarutobi. The staunch Hokage who had misdeeds and skepticism of the Uchiha Clan. Though they were right to mistrust them, the reciprocations cost them dearly.
** Phlegmatic: Minato Namikaze. An unprejudiced Hokage, who AFatherToHisMen whole-heartedly protected his people. But was ultimately betrayed .
** Choleric: Tsunade. The short-tempered Hokage with immense physical power and healing capabilities. However her habit of gambling, came at a price of more than just money.
** The true Akatsuki leaders:
** Choleric: Tobi/. An ominous and determined figure, who pulls the strings from the background. A deceitful liar and clever mastermind who knew more than he was willing to reveal. Manipulated both hero and villain alike, in a vengeful conquest against Konoha where he proclaimed war for a so-called "Greater Good".
** Melancholic: AGodAmI Pain/. The Dark Messiah with a deep, moralistic view of peace and justice. Twisted by righteousness, Pain believed he could end all war and conflict, through supreme power. In truth he was convinced people will never truly understand each other, that humanity will always seek conflict.
** Phlegmatic: Konan. Pain's partner who merely wanted peace, and agreed with his plans out of sheer loyalty to her former comrades. She was obedient yet rational, soon seeing the true evil behind Tobi's actions.
** Eclectic: Zetsu. A twisted blend of Melancholic (Black Zetsu) and Sanguine (White Zetsu). The spy who observed key events of the story, from the shadows. Deranged and untrustworthy, Zetsu served as a pawn to Tobi. But in truth .
** Between the Konoha Girls:
** Choleric: Sakura Haruno. Most of the main reasons explained above.
** Sanguine: Ino Yamanaka. Normally charming, high-spirited and particularly flirtatious towards the boys (especially Sasuke). But she also has a short temper, though not as frequently violent as her rival, Sakura quickly reverting back to her sweet, cheerful self.
** Phlegmatic: Hinata Hyuga. Originally shy, meek and very sensitive. But matures into a tender, loving woman who would often sacrifice herself, to save others. Becomes more of a Mama Bear, when her feelings finally get recognized and begin starting a family with Naruto.
** Melancholic: Tenten. One of the most rational girls of the series. The authority between Guy and Lee's ridiculous antics and Neji's logical nature. She shows an apt level of genius and ingenuity, having great skill in many different weapon varities, but rarely gets the time to shine and ends-up running an outdated shop, to her discontent.
* From Anime/NeonGenesisEvangelion, the children/Eva pilots:
** The timid ExtremeDoormat Shinji is Leukine, the EmotionlessGirl Rei is Melancholic, the HotBlooded Tsundere Asuka is Choleric, TheBigGuy Toji is Sanguine and the serene NiceGuy Kaworu is Phlegmatic.

** Phlegmatic: Kazuya - kind, supportive, optimistic, but indecisive and an ExtremeDoormat.
** Eclectic: Chizuru - has different behaviours, demonstrating she has a friendly and playful side, a calmer and quieter one, a more irritable one, and a sad one deep down. Despite her emotional issues, however, she's still undoubtedly the most balanced and realistic member among the main cast.
** Sanguine: Ruka - the Genki Girl who just wants to have fun, playful and obsessive.
** Choleric: Mami - TheSociopath and JerkWithAHeartOfJerk who appears to be calm, sweet and friendly but is incredibly twisted, cruel, malicious, manipulative, spiteful and despite having dumped him, if she sees Kazuya with another girl she becomes a ClingyJealousGirl and GreenEyedMonster.
** Melancholic: Sumi - a ShrinkingViolet, NiceGirl and overthinker who lacks confidence, is extremely sensitive and has trouble talking to others - anyways determined to overcome her insecurities.
* Manga/TheRoyalTutor:
** The four main princes: Kai (phlegmatic), Bruno (melancholic), Tsundere Leonhard (choleric), and Licht (sanguine).

** Choleric: Tokito is quick to anger, perfectionistic, and impulsive. Wears shades of yellow, and fights with a very aggressive energy.

* The leading Scientists of Manga/ScienceFellInLoveSoITriedToProveIt.
** Melancholic: Shinya Yukimura (Stern, brutally honest and supremely analytical).
** Choleric: Ayame Himuro (Equally as academic as Yukimura, yet more sensitive, socially aware and clingy).
** Sanguine: Kosuke Inukai (Otaku Fanatical towards his hobbies, comical, easily insulted and often misfortunate).
** Phlegmatic: Ena Ibarada (Aloof, apathetic and often found either sleeping or playing videogames, despite being the smartest one there.)
** Leukine: Kotonoha Kanade (Neither too emotional nor too intellectual. She's the most "normal" one, but only through the expectations of others and a tragic past).
* Manga/SpyXFamily: The Forger family:
** Loid is Phlegmatic (calm, stoic, very versatile and adaptable depending on the situation, gentle, but definitely logical and confident and a true ActionHero when needed);
** Anya is Sanguine (the kind, innocent, CheerfulChild with typical childish mischief and playfulness);
** Yor is Melancholic (not a depressed example, but shy by nature and often worried about having to be a more competent person in everyday's life and as a mother);

* Manga/TheSummerYouWereThere
** Shizuku Hoshikawa(Melancholic): She's withdrawn, depressed to the point of contemplating suicide and suffers from self-loathing. Her younger self, a brutally honest and insensitive but outwardly confident girl, was closer to choleric, though.
** Kaori Asaka(Sanguine): She's cheerful and outgoing, and while much of this is an act, she's the only one of the four who's even able to fake being like this.
** Ruri Ichinose(Phlegmatic): Despite bearing emotional scars from Shizuku's bullying, she's relatively even-tempered and tends not to let her emotions cloud her judgment. Her younger self was probably more melancholic due to her meek nature and tendency to apologize.
** Seri Ichihara(Choleric): She's hot-tempered by nature, whether it's her hostility toward Shizuku or yelling at Kaori for pushing herself too far despite her illness.
* Anime/Superbook (second season): Christopher Peepers (choleric), Joy (melancholic), Uriah (sanguine), and Gizmo (phlegmatic).

** Neeba's Group: Neeba (melancholic), Fatina (choleric), Kally (phlegmatic), and Utu (sanguine).
* Manga/Trigun more often averts this trope in favor of the Lone Hero or the PowerTrio. Adding Wolfwood to the cast has a subtractive effect instead, generating a duo dynamic that leaves Meryl and Millie on the sidelines. When they participate equally they fit the four temperaments: Meryl (choleric), Vash (melancholic, though pretending to be sanguine), Wolfwood (phlegmatic), and Millie (sanguine).
* In the original Anime/WeissKreuz Aya (choleric), Omi (melancholic), Youji (phlegmatic), and Ken (sanguine).

* Anime/YuGiOh :
** The four Battle City finalists: Yugi[=/=]Yami Yugi (phlegmatic, both personalities being kind and compassionate unless provoked or angered enough), Kaiba (melancholic, a bit more outgoing than most examples but still cold and distant to anyone that isn't a trusted company partner), Jonouchi (sanguine, hot-blooded, loyal to his friends, and always ready for a challenge), and Marik[=/=]Yami Marik (choleric, both of them being openly cruel, sadistic, and petty towards their opponents)
** The main antagonists: Pegasus (sanguine, taking the role of an AffablyEvil villain with gusto while at the same time knowing full well the depths he's sinking to just to resurrect his dead lover), Dartz (phlegmatic, being mostly concerned with summoning the Orichalcos God no matter the cost), Marik and Noah (choleric, being cruel and petty to those they see as having robbed them of what is rightfully theirs), Yami Bakura/Thief King Bakura (melancholic, always coldly scheming behind the scenes towards his mysterious end goals) and Zigfried (eclectic, a mixture of phlegmatic and choleric)
** The Big Five: Leichter (sanguine, the most concerned with fulfilling Gozaburo's vision of [=KaibaCorp=] in letter and spirit, taking the form of Jinzo), Johnson (phlegmatic, a RulesLawyer who isn't above cheating to get his way, exemplified by his form as Judge Man), Gansley (choleric, the most aggressive of the four who takes the form of Deepsea Warrior), Nezbitt (melancholic, a cold emotionless man who fittingly takes the form of Robotic Knight and later Perfect Machine King) and Crump (eclectic, being mostly concerned only with his love of penguins and taking the form of Nightmare Penguin).
* Anime/YuGiOhGX:
** The four protagonists (with major CharacterDevelopment arcs): Judai (sanguine, being the lazy but fun-loving and happy-go-lucky guy who likes playing the hero [[spoiler: up until Season 3 where his ChronicHeroSyndrome gets exploited for all its worth, in the process revealing his key weaknesseses of being too idealistic for his own good and vulnerable to emotional abuse and manipulation, causing him to break and go insane with anger and hate briefly before eventually recovering and when he does it's clear he's not the same anymore afterward]]), Sho (melancholic, always being insecure about living in his brother's shadow, which causes him no end of self-doubt until he bonds more with Judai and learns to come into his own), Manjoume (choleric, being the LonelyRichKid who tries to put up a hammy, dramatic front to keep everybody's spirits high while secretly dealing with his own personal struggles, especially trying to live up to his own expectations), and Asuka (phlegmatic, always calm and mostly going along with wherever the plot takes her and her friends while being unsure of what to do herself when it comes time for them to part ways).
** The major antagonists: Kagemaru (sanguine, the elderly yet still bombastic academy chairman who wants to regain his youth at a great cost to everyone else), Supreme King Judai (choleric, spoiiler: being Judai's corrupted alter ego fueled solely by his anger, rage, and his love of dueling - the only thing left that he has faith in once his friends abandon and chastise him for his recklessness resulting in their assumed deaths), Yubel (phlegmatic, Judai's first Duel Monster spirit partner whose only desire is to reunite with him again and forever, by any means necessary), Darkness (melancholic, an EldritchAbomination of pure nihilism that seeks to trap all of humanity into a state of stagnance, beleiving it's what they want and is best for them), and Saiou (eclecitc, ultimately a good person at heart but is being possessed by Darkness's polar opposite entity into becoming a deranged cult leader)
** The four main rivals: Manjoume (sanguine), Edo (choletic), Ryo (melancholic, especially once he becomes Hell Kaiser), and Johan (phlegmatic)

* Out of the four "Yus" from Anime/YuGiOhArcV:
** Sanguine: Yuya, being an idealist who aspires to make people smile and peacefully solve conflicts but can be emotionally unstable. He starts out with self-confidence issues before coming into his own as a duelist.
** Choleric: Yugo, who's hot-tempered and occasionally impulsive but is ambitious and protective of loved ones. He's also very prideful, meaning it's very easy to rile him up due to him wearing his heart on his sleeve. spoiler: Under Zarc's influence he becomes akin to a wild animal fueled purely by destructive impulses. Compared to Yuto, his hot-headedness means he's more susceptible to being possessed and takes longer to recover.
** Melancholic: Yuto is determined, pragmatic, and stoic, but has a self-blaming and cynical strea as well as having difficulty expressing his true feelingsk.
** Phlegmatic: Yuri is always level-headed and calm, even when relentlessly hunting people under orders of his leader, or being a comedic plaything. Being Yuya's polar opposite, he started out extremely competent, but he alienated his peers due to his sheer strength and thanks to Leo Akaba enabling his worst traits, he became a sociopathic BloodKnight who delights in indulging his own sadism. [[spoiler: This also makes him the most similar in personality to Zarc, whose influence turns him into a wapred puppet of his original incarnation, becoming an unhinged psychopath who wants to effectively murder everyone and everything, a jarring contrast to his usual FauxAffablyEvil self.]]
** Eclectic: [[spoiler: Zarc, being the origin of the Dragon boys, possesses aspects of all four of them. Unfortunately he undergoes a tragic downward spiral into insanity and evil that results in him giving in to the worst of those aspects to become Supreme Dragon King Zarc, a hellish concoction of Yuya's emotional instability (being prone to violent mood swings), Yugo's recklessness (choosing to throw away his humanity without thinking of the consequences), Yuto's self-loathing and cynicism (seeing the worst in humanity and hating himself for giving into their desire for more violent duels), and Yuri's nihilism (seeing himself as a godlike being supeerior to humans and choosing to be known as a devil if it means he's the strongest]]]
* Anime/YuGiOhVrains: Playmaker (melancholic, being the most pragmatic and goal-driven out of all the series' protagonists, seeking revenge against those responsible for the Hanoi Incident, where he and 6 other chidlren were kidnapped, tortured, and used as a basis for twisted experiements involving AI constructs), Soulburner (sanguine, another victim of the Hanoi Incident who was inspired by Playmaker to get over his trauma and move forward, returning to his original upbeat self), Blue Angel (phlegmatic, being only tangentially connected to the main plotline but soon becomes more invested and involved as she strives to prove herself capable of fending for herself), and Revolver (choleric, a guilt-driven young man connected to those behind the Hanoi Incident who seeks to correct their mistaakes by destroying the AI they created, come hell or high water)
** The group of main antagonists in season 2 : Lightning (choleric, an AI who despises humanity and wants to rule them ), Bohman (melancholic, a stoic yet insightful AI construct designed by Lightning who intends to fulfill the purpose given to him by his creator), Windy (sanguine, the most fun-loving of the 6 original Ignis ) and Haru (phlegmatic, Bohman's prototype and handler who doesn't see value in his own existence .).
** The four Ignis not affiliated with Lightning's faction: Flame (choleric), Earth (melancholic), Aqua (phlegmatic), and Ai (sanguine)
* Team Urameshi from Anime/YuYuHakusho fits this perfectly:
** Yusuke is Choleric. Being HotBlooded, proud and secretly compassionate to his loved ones.
** Kuwabara is Sanguine. A BoisterousBruiser who wears his heart on his sleeve and proudly declares his love.
** Kurama is Phlegmatic. The GuileHero and strategist of the team who keeps his cards close to his chest.
** Hiei is Melancholic. As a PerpetualFrowner and NobleDemon with a resentment for how he was mistreated and protection of his sister.
* In Anime/ZombielandSaga, the first four members of Franchouchou easily fit this: Sakura is sanguine (being a cheerful yet meek and somewhat clumsy NiceGirl), Saki is choleric (being the extroverted, hammy, bossy and brusque JerkWithAHeartOfGold), Ai is melancholic (being pessimistic and skeptical) and Junko is phlegmatic (being a quiet and reserved ShrinkingViolet).
