Here, he befriends three [[LonersAreFreaks outcasts]] -- [[TheStoner stoners]] Gavin Strick (Creator/NickStahl) and UV ([[Creator/ChadDonella Chad E. Donella]]), and "bad girl" Rachel (Creator/KatieHolmes). Gavin has long been suspicious about the "Blue Ribbons," a group of [[RichBitch preppy]], highly intelligent and [[SlobsVersusSnobs snobbish]] [[{{Jerkass}} douchebags]] who are considered the school's "cream of the crop" and take part in a program led by the school's [[PsychoPsychologist psychologist]], [[BigBad Dr. Edgar Caldicott]] (Creator/BruceGreenwood).
