It tells the story of its survivors and the descendants of characters from the Lion King, in a bleak but fantastical and ultimately hopeful tale of rebellion and sacrifice. Both Judgement and Legacies have undergone extensive rewrites.
16	** In 2017, after the completion of the 4th Book, (Legacies - Book IV: Inferno) the Author placed the series on hiatus, whilst he rewrote its prequel Judgement into an trilogy. This led to the subsequent publication of Books 1 (2018), Book II (2019) and Book III (2020) of Judgement, and the subsequent rewriting/remastering of Flood (2021), Tremors (2022) with Storm due for publication in (2023). Based on this pattern, Inferno will receive its rewrite in 2024, and the series will eventually pick up where it left off in 2025 with what WOG has tentatively called - Book V: Apocalypse. He has been continuously active ever since, and there is no indication the series is or will be abandoned.

20	** ''Comments'': Right. So the premise here, is that Scar is dead. He's not entirely sure what to do about that, but can't dwell on it, because he's trying to save his immortal soul from damnation.

Scar is faced with two Spirits, who is sympathetic, kind, understanding and helpful, the other cruel, sadistic and murderously callous over Scar's actions. They act as a sort of "Prosecution" and "Defence" lawyers, in a trial for Scar's soul. These flashbacks are witnessed by Scar, who attempts to clumsily tell "his side" of the story, all in a desperate gambit to delay the ultimate destruction and damnation of his soul for his many heinous crimes.

The divisions and instability caused by Scar's actions in the first fic, Judgement, and explored in The Lion King II, lead to the Pridelands being attacked by a vastly superior foreign power. The Shai'tan Imperium has invaded and occupied the Pridelands, killing most of the Pride. Its up to a few survivors of the slaughter, to defeat the Shai'tan, and reclaim the Pridelands. But this is difficult. The enemy is larger, more experienced, more powerful and are assisted by a former friend and contemporary of Rafiki. Marsade, the Shaman has brought dark and powerful magics to bear against the Pridelands.
48	** What happens when you mix The Lion King, The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones? Answer? A really awesome fic. The "Quest" Format, means this fantastic series has a dozen well rounded, and entertaining characters. Fantastic villains. It takes what Judgement did in expanding and developing the world of The Lion King and ramps it up to eleven. Well worth the read.

Upon escaping the Scarred Pride, the family encounters a rouge lion known as Siri, who is seeking to rescue his mother from the Scarred Pride’s clutches, and later joins the family in an epic journey and battle to save their loved ones. Little do they know that Siri is the alternate identity of the amnesia-ridden Kopa, who survived Zira’s ambush — and that the leaders of the Scarred Pride are Scar and Zira themselves who have survived their defeats and seek to induct every lion and hyena on Earth in their pride in the pursuit of world domination. To make matters worse, they somehow may not be the biggest threat that the Pride Lands, the Circle of Life, or the world may ever face….
70	** ”Comments”: Though this fanfiction was published in 2018, the basic outline for the story was conceived during the release of The Lion Guard’s first season, prior to the announcement of Scar’s return to the franchise, and as such takes place in an alternate canon where the events of “The Rise of Scar”, all the way to the series finale “Return to the Pride Lands” are almost non-existent (evident being that Scar is not undead). Several plot-elements reflect this, most notably the absence of Rani, Anga, as well as Vitani’s Lion Guard. Several side-stories have been hinted or released that further reflect that. Unlike the source material, this story goes all-out with the dark topics, including a tragic origin story involving the conception of Zira’s children, the violent attempted murder of Simba’s son, the near-death of essentially almost every main character, etc. Some profanity to also be found. Within all that are some very creative decisions with the writing, and some fortunate levity and humor to balance, along with a lot of heart. Lots of things to admire in a fanfic.

Within the following years, Kion must escape the emotional scars and shadows that Rani has cast upon him from within in order to move on and regain his purpose in the Circle of Life. At the same time, he must protect what he holds dearly from Janja’s vengeful clutches, as well as well as edify Kiara and Kovu’s second-born to follow in his paw-prints and lead the Pride Lands’ next Lion Guard.
76	** “Comments”: Unlike The Scarred Pride, this fanfic takes place within the main canon of the animated series as a fanmade fourth season. It takes inspiration off of the popular theory that Rani is using Kion, and delves into a character-driven narrative that explores both parties. You see Kion’s breakdown upon realizing that Scar’s words of the roar being a curse may ring true and how it affects him psychologically and physically. The first two chapters, the bonus chapter, as well as the story’s sequel expand upon Rani’s character to make her an understandable antagonist. - Having been traumatized by the murder of her parents and subjects in her youth, and being burdened with the task of ruling an entire kingdom as a teenager, Rani was left physically and emotionally scarred and took it upon herself to protect her kingdom, even if it’s through morally questionable acts. It gives her an element of understanding and sympathy, which — depending on one’s point of view — makes you sad to see everything she’s worked for fall apart, her fractured relationship with her family, and how her story ultimately ends. Whilst rushed at times, it does does some expansion upon the characters, particularly Kion and Jasiri, and delves into the original show’s themes and morals of differences being utilized as a strength among a team, while not shying away to be more heavy with the action and language.

As Kion’s family and friends explore and learn more about the Tree of Life and its creatures, Kion reunites with some of his former subjects, whilst also coming to grips with his previous marriage and making a shocking discovery in regards to Rani’s fate. The story ends with the gang, lead by Kion’s successor, returning to the Pride Lands to set things right, serving as a cliffhanger for future stories.

219	** Synopsis: A Tale of Two Brothers is a fan-fiction series with the first two episodes being released on May 27th, 2020. The series is a prequel to Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King. The series' storyline is set before the events of the original film. Long before the reign of the Lion King, Simba, his grandfather Ahadi held the throne of Africa, and bore two mighty son; The eldest Mufasa, was destined to rule the Pride Lands, whilst the youngest, Askari was destined to lead the new Lion Guard. Unlike many other fan-fictions about Scar's past, this is the first known fan fiction not to use "Taka" as Scar's birth-name due to the name itself not being under Disney's creation, whilst Askari was confirmed as Scar's original name by Lion Guard director Ford Riley. The series, according to the creator will base the prequel off of the original film's content, as well as the 1998 sequel, the 2004 midquel, and the 2015-2019 spin off film. Any new characters will not be inspired by the "Lion King": Six New Adventure" stories from 1994. Episode 3 is currently in production and is slated to be released in late 2020/early 2021.
