Watching the two try to prevent their counterparts from finding out that they are in the body of mortal enemies is nothing short of hilarious, and it shows that monsters are not merely dumb beasts to be ordered around like slaves. Two thumbs up! Oh, and rendered AU by Season 3.

Starke's theories about the science behind the supercomputer and Lyoko are really interesting, and he makes good use of minor characters, fleshing them out and giving them interesting roles. The fic has, sadly, since been discontinued, but what there is is very much worth reading.

There are parts I did enjoy, like his {{Reconstruction}} of the Courtney/Duncan/Gwen love triangle or filling in XANA's motivations, but a lot of the time he ''tells'' us things instead of ''shows'' them, and is a bit too fond of long, sometimes repetitive, {{Info Dump}}s (the entire plot is explained, in detail, every time a new Warrior joins the team, XANA delivers his reasons via a single long speech, etc.) Speaking of XANA, other than him and Aelita, the entire ''Code Lyoko'' cast is DemotedToExtra, so if you're coming from that half of the crossover you'll likely be disappointed by the lack of familiar faces. Some plot ideas are interesting [[TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot but underused and/or relegated to occasional mentions]]; most notably the CainAndAbel relationship between XANA and Aelita is consistently mentioned, but detailed information is relegated to being delivered by a ''third party'', while neither of them ever reflects on their past as family. The author introduces several major OCs who are very much YMMV in enjoyment; if don't like Kurt and Carlos's humor, you'll likely be annoyed by [[SpotlightStealingSquad how often they show up]] [[BigLippedAlligatorMoment to divert attention from the main story]]. A lot of the humor relies on FourthWallBreaking and RunningGags, which for me wore out their welcome quickly. Most damningly, the third major OC is a bland DeusExMachina named Seraphim, who contributes to many of the {{Ass Pull}}s that the plot relies on. If you enjoy action stories, there's plenty of it, and that's what I'd consider the draw for this fic; if you enjoy plot and character stories, you should turn elsewhere. - Apocrypha
