''Mistress'' showcases a grown up demon Ciel as a butler (with Sebastian as his ever-snarky footman, of course) to a woman on the path for revenge not unlike the contract the Ciel had with Sebastian as a human. Many of Lark's fic involves original characters but they are all very interesting, well-developed and fit into the context of the original series while still having lives of their own. Her writing style also fits well with the more poetic writing style that authors during the 19th century had,but is not over-the-top dramatic or distracting. As a warning, many of these fics are rather dark and adult in nature so a trigger warning applies here in the case of anyone being triggered by dark imagery or non-graphic depictions of sexual content.

On the other hand, all 6 are of extremely high quality and highly enjoyable.
