Essentially, it is your average "fangirls enter universe" story. However, one noticeable attribute of the story is that, unlike most of these stories, it is centered mainly on the fangirls and their interactions with the Les Amis de l'ABC, as opposed to the Amis' interactions with them.

5	Basically the story centers around eight teenage fangirls; there's [[Main/TheLeader Ally]], [[Main/TheSmartGuy Elsa]], [[Main/TheCharmer Avielle]], [[Main/TheHeart Isabella]], [[Main/TheQuietOne Bridget]], [[Main/TheDitz Marleni]], [[Main/TheLancer Maddy]] and [[Main/LonerTurnedFriend Noelle]]. They're all members of a fanclub for the Les Amis de l'ABC, the student revolutionaries in Victor Hugo's nineteenth century masterpiece ''Literature/{{Les Miserables}}''. Through some mysterious turn of events yet to be fully explained, the girls are transported into Hugo's novel and find that they have been given special powers. Using these powers, they quickly busy themselves with stalking their favorite revolutionaries- however, things quickly take a turn for the worse when conflict begins to emerge among the girls, and Noelle is kidnapped by the greedy Thenardier and the criminal gang Patron-Minette.

Her mental insistence that she isn't a bad person serves as a bit of a pity moment.

Maddy, on the other hand, is a ballet dancer and fashionista who isn't afraid of a fight- and quite often provokes them herself.
