Man, you never had such a non-reaction to this work than at this moment. You were in such a neutral state, you didn't even feel like shrugging it off. Even a "meh" or "why?" would be more of a reaction than this warrants.

In short, you had a TrueNeutral feeling about a work.

It doesn't even tick you off over it, as would some cases of SoOkayItsAverage. The rule of thumb is that if you can't remember how you felt about that moment, it's because you didn't really have a feeling of it either way. Hence you have this trope.

* There are a few Betty Crocker ads on this page. Being a Homestucker, I should've been angry, but then I ate a taco.
* I saw this advertisement for something once today... I think it was today. I didn't really care about it.
* People really hate the Go Compare guy... but I just didn't mind him in the slightest.

* Watched some animes that everybody on this wiki raves about. S'alright.
** Your pluralisation of the word "anime" fills me with a deep sense of indifferent boredom. Now let us not duel with katanas.
* Tropers/Excel-2010. All of Manga/KOn didn't faze me. I just don't get why anyone feels as they do about it.
** Of course and it's one of the most boring anime in existence.
* Watched too many GRIMDARK Anime. Try watching the more normal sort of entertainment. Didn't really care about anyone in the small moving-picture sound-making box. Read some newspapers. The world is as bad as always. Didn't really care about anyone or anything anymore.
* Watched the supposedly hilarious Anime/FLCL, it wasn't that funny.
* Watched the anime version of VideoGame/ValkyriaChronicles. Didn't find anything surprising, wasn't overly moved by any of the characters or plot, and when it was over I didn't feel it sucked, but I didn't want to watch it again.
* I watched Evangelion and found that it wasn't confusing, great or crappy.
** Now that is downright impossible.
** It was a show, I guess. It happened. Can't say much about it though, not sure what the hype is.
** Now that is DOWNRIGHT impossible.
* I started watching Tengen Toppa, I walked out the room to get a cup of tea and I forgot I was watching it so I read a book instead. Kamina was an okay character.
* Watched the first two episodes of the Literature/Slayers anime a month or two ago. I smiled a few times, but other than that it was meh.
* People rave about Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, but... it's alright. Nanoha's a bit of a flat, uninteresting character - she's been done a million times before, and the romantic undertones in the first two seasons were, if anything, a bit Squick squicky, due to both of the characters being underage.
** And the trademark befriending? That happened once... maybe twice.
* This troper is 9 episodes into Anime/GundamReconguistaInG, and while he doesn't think it's the worst series, he is wondering if it would have been a better use of his time to go into the supposedly extremely snarkable Anime/MobileSuitGundamSEEDDestiny, as snarking at anime is something he quite enjoys.
** Although he does wish that Tomino had directed something else for the 35th anniversary of Gundam, such as an anime adaptation of Manga/MobileSuitCrossboneGundam or Literature/GaiaGear.
* Literature/SwordArtOnline is an alright show I guess. I didn't hate it. I didn't enjoy it. I just... Know it exists.
* Watched Anime/DeathNote after everyone told me how morally ambiguous it was and the brilliant twists. Eh... didn't hate it, but... there's nothing really that ambiguous about it... Light's just a bad person.
** Same here. Light's just a prick. Nothing else, really.
** Nobody to root for, pretty much.
* Watched both seasons of Anime/StrikeWitches because its page here says it's more than just fan service and multiple characters from it got inserted in our pantheon. It's total mediocrity became boring very quick, so I doubled the replay speed. I can't imagine I missed anything.
* What's the whole deal with Boku no Pico anyway? Everyone seems to be so disgusted by it, but it was pretty average. Meh.
* Read Manga/TheEnigmaOfAmigaraFault. Eh. Pretty boring, actually.
* Watched Grave of the Fireflies. A total meh.
* A friend made me check out the critically-acclaimed Anime/YourName shortly after it first came out. I honestly can't remember anything about us watching it, and often forget the film even exists whenever its director comes up.

* There wasn't a category here until I made it. Guess nobody cares about comic books.
** What's a comic book?
* I don't really read comics but I have nothing against them.
* I read the ComicBook/New 52 ComicBook/Static series. Not as good as the Creator/DwayneMcduffie comics, but not all that bad.
* I read all six volumes of ComicBook/ScottPilgrim and while I didn't think it was bad, I thought it was definitely overrated & nowhere near the flawless masterpiece everyone had hyped it up to be.
* Creator/Moore Moore wrote some Franchise/StarWars comics. They weren't too bad.

* I published the first chapter of my original fanfic some days ago. Still got no reviews.
* One of my favorite fanfics hasn't updated in quite some time. The author seems to having personal problems, and he's also updating a couple of story-driven fan-Tumblrs that I don't find funny or interesting. It's a little irritating that he wants to focus on such dumb stories as opposed to the one I liked more, but it's not terrible or anything.
* I read Fanfic/CupcakesSergeantSprinkles and Sweet Apple Massacre. I felt they were both boring and over-hyped.
** I read that one fic, Cheerilee's Garden or whatever. It was sort of creepy, I guess.
*** I read Dipper Goes To Taco Bell. Then read Grunkle Stan The Rapist. Then watched WesternAnimation/GravityFalls. The next day I didn't remember what I did yesterday.
* I read Fanfic/MyLittleDashie today. Not a single tear was shed that day.
** Seconded, I guess. I really don't care.
*** Meh, not bad, not good.
*** Okay, but I was expecting a lot more. Probably wouldn't bother with it again.

* I saw WesternAnimation/Dinosaur when it came out in theaters. It was okay but I like WesternAnimation/TheLandBeforeTime better.
* Saw WesternAnimation/ToyStory3 today. It was average.
* Watched WesternAnimation/Igor, the one with John Cusack. Almost laughed a couple of times. Completely failed to react to the movie otherwise. Then experienced severe disgust that a movie could actually make me that indifferent.
* I never cried over 1994}} Mufasa's death. Nor I understand the drama.
** Ditto for the final scene when Simba finally retakes his kingdom. Formulaic pseudo-drama at its blandest.
* I watched WesternAnimation/WallE, but didn't feel anything and was indifferent to everyone's fate. The only thing I remember clearly is a silly throwaway line.
* I found WesternAnimation/2013 entertaining but forgettable.
* I don't know why WesternAnimation/Brave is so famous, is plain.
* WesternAnimation/BigHero6 was largely forgettable in every area save the stunning animation. A feast for the eyes, but dull Disney-lite on everything else.
* The movie itself isn't out yet, but the teaser for WesternAnimation/Coco didn't do much for me. I hope the movie is good but the trailer was just... there.

* Saw this movie, and the moment was at the end of the opening credits.
** The popcorn was tasty, but that's not this trope.
* The second time I saw Film/NapoleonDynamite. They say it gets better with each viewing, but since I already knew what was happening, I may as well have been staring at a wall.
** The first time I saw Napoleon Dynamite. I could not possibly have cared less about that movie.
*** The first time I heard about Napoleon Dynamite. My friend told me about the plot, quite eagerly, and I was just like "Huh, 'kay". I suspect I pissed her off a little or something. But, eh, I don't know...
* Saw Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy2014 and the 'meh' was strong from beginning to end. Just amother cookie-cutter Marvel movie with nice special effects and endless dull snarking from more cookie-cutter dull to average characters. Did look very nice, though.
* Saw Film/Avatar (the 2009 movie). Didn't bat an eyelash over the action and conflict. Felt like it was just a wall to me.
** Saw it too, even the visuals were 'meh' for me.
** This was how I felt about Film/StarTrek2009. I literally remember maybe 2 minutes of it.
* I saw Film/Saving Private Ryan with a friend. The battle scenes were alright, I guess.
* The ending of Film/MrAndMrsSmith2005 was crap, but i was just glad the film was over and I could leave the cinema. Most of the jokes in that film drew either silence or an indifferent cough from the rest of the cinema.
* Saw Film/Watchmen on TNT. It was okay, I guess.
* I watched Film/CowboysAndAliens and simply didn't give a damn who died. Hell, the aliens could've killed Olivia Wilde and I wouldn't have cared... wait, I forgot she died. Oops, delayed spoiler. Still don't care to add spoiler markers.
** How can you tell Olivia Wilde's dead?
* After hearing Phelous and Creator/BradJones screaming about the EVILS of Film/ASerbianFilm I admittedly watched it. And I say... hm. I just didn't find it as hard hitting as, say, the original Film/TheLastHouseOnTheLeft.
* I saw Film/StarWarsANewHope for the first time... when I was twenty. It was a good film for what it was: a ClicheStorm Troperiffic that uses those clichés intelligently. However, it would've made a much larger impact on me had I watched it at a more impressionable age. Part of the problem was that I watched it right after seeing Film/BladeRunner, which I thought was amazing.
* Out of excitement, my friend punched me several times in the arm during the Hobbit trailer in theaters. I can't give shits over high fantasy.
* I loved Film/PitchBlack. I [no adjective] Film/TheChroniclesOfRiddick.
* I saw Film/TheConjuring a couple weeks ago. It was OK, I guess.
* I watched Film/SuperCapers once, and from what I saw Film/AcademyForSuperheroes doesn't seem so bad now.
* I saw Film/MagicalMysteryTour. It was okay. It wasn't as good as the other movies that Music/TheBeatles were in though but it wasn't as bad as some people were making it out to be either.
* I saw Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier in theaters recently. Plot was a bit confusing. Some of the action scenes were fun to watch, but others were hard to follow with the camera shaking about. It was nice overall, but nothing I'd ever rush out to see again.
* I decided to watch Film/TheShawshankRedemption when I saw that it was the highest rated movie on Website/IMDb. In my opinion, it was an okay film, but it didn't really feel like the "best movie ever."
* I watched Film/1984 recently, and I thought it was okay. It wasn't terrible, but it's not a movie I want to see really soon. I liked a few of the characters, but I didn't find it all that funny, or worth all the hype it's gotten over the years.
* I watched Film/TheShining, the one they said to be the greatest horror movie ever. To be fair, I did like the music, so I was not 100% indifferent. However, they were the only reason I wasn't completely indifferent to it. The series of would-be suggestive and meaningful images didn't compensate for (nor hide) the lack of an actual plot and the story being just a shift from one sensation to a totally unrelated different one.
* Some of the movies from Website/IMDb's top 250 I've seen include Film/TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly, 2/3 Film/TheLordOfTheRings movies, Film/TheDarkKnightRises, Film/AmericanBeauty, Film/CitizenKane, Amelie, Film/BicycleThieves, Film/PansLabyrinth, Film/BladeRunner, Film/GoneGirl, Boyhood, The 400 Blows and Film/TheWizardOfOz. I rate them a collective 6/10.
* Saw Film/Eraserhead. Eh. Pretty boring, actually. I suppose SurrealHorror isn't really my thing.
* Saw Film/MontyPythonAndTheHolyGrail. It had a few good laughs, but overall, it's not my kind of humor. Too random and incoherent. And don't get me started with the ending.
* I'm a big Franchise/StarWars fan, but to be honest I couldn't care less whether or not Han shot first. And yes, you can do that and still be a fan.
* I watched Film/TheDarkKnight. Heath Ledger's Joker was nice, but honestly, the rest of the movie was mediocre to me, at best.
** I saw Film/BatmanBegins recently, and while I enjoyed the movie itself, I have no idea why everyone says that Creator/KatieHolmes is so bad in this. I mean, Creator/MaggieGyllenhaal was certainly better, but other than one line delivery that made me cringe, she was just... okay.
* Was apathetic towards Tarantino, brought to watch Film/InglouriousBasterds in theaters. Left unimpressed and without any interest in exploring this guy further. (would later give a shot to four other movies of his; reactions were bigger, but still hardly positive)

* I've been reading the Literature/EarthsChildren series. By the time I got to the third one, I was only continuing to read because I'm compelled to finish anything I start. Even that, however, wasn't enough to make me read the last one. It still lies on the side table in my living room, unread.
* While reading Allies I eventually learned that Abeloth is . The problem is that I start my journey in the EU from Thrawn Trilogy and deliberately skipped Callista Trilogy. Therefore, also I basically know who is this lady, I don't give a damn about her. I was like: ""Oh, another old girlfriend of Luke? I guess it sucks, kill her.""
** The computer girl? Man. That could've been shocking if those books had been good enough to make me care about her. Why do we need Luke's old girlfriends to be the bad guys, anyway? It's been 20+ years since they've even showed up.
* I read Twilight until page 276. Then I stopped.
** Read Twilight all the way through. Did not read sequels.
** Read Twilight all the way through. Read the two after that. They were okay. Then I didn't stop, but my crushing indifference has taken too much hold on me for me to talk about that.
** Five minutes after finishing Twilight I had forgotten the plot.
** What plot?
* I seem unable to show the appropriate emotional reaction for plot twist or dramatic event in fictional work without preparing myself. For instance in the Literature/HarryPotterAndTheHalfBloodPrince water cave scene, when I read it I really didn't think much about it, just kept reading. Only when I talked to other fans who went on about the NightmareFuel and squickiness of it did I think to interpret it as such. Ditto for Dumbledore's death. BIG TEARJERKER for everybody, okay-when's-the-next-book-out for me. This happens all the time with literature and some movies, even though I am a fairly emotional person most of the time (all most more so than I'd like). Am I selectively apathetic or missing something important?
** Saw the warning at the top about just having these be about pieces of media. Meh. Oops.
** Read the first four books of Literature/HarryPotter every day for 30 days (due to there being almost nothing else to read.) I don't hate the books, but don't feel like reading them ever again.
*** Read the first three Harry Potter books and loved it at first. Then, got too bored at the beginning of the fourth to finish the series.
** Read every Harry Potter book (including Theatre/HarryPotterAndTheCursedChild) out of a sense of obligation to my friends who are all over the franchise, and while I found them reasonably entertaining, they did absolutely nothing for me emotion-wise. The supposedly deep philosophical messages were clichéd, shallow or outright immoral, and I never felt attached enough to any of the characters that I would laugh with them or feel sad for them. To each their own, I guess.
** Voraciously loved the first four Harry Potter books, passively enjoyed the next two, and just felt empty during the final one (which came out when I was sixteen). Haven't felt the need to pick any of them up again in over a decade and just feel vaguely bemused by peers who're still obsessed with the franchise.
* I read Literature/TheHungerGames. It was alright, I guess. Won't bother reading the other books though, because I don't feel like it.
** Read Literature/TheHungerGames and thought, "That was pretty good. I don't care if I never finish it." Two years later, I read Catching Fire because of pressure from some friends to finish the series, and thought, "That was pretty good. I don't care if I never finish it." At present, I have still not finished it.
* I read The Fellowship of the Ring. It was okay, but I wasn't really interested in reading the rest.
** I read Two Towers till Frodo shows again. Then I've decided it's time to do something useful.
** I read Literature/TheLordOfTheRings in its entirety. Upon rereading, I skipped the parts with Frodo because another half was interesting.
** People keep telling me I need to read Literature/TheLordOfTheRings. I tried a few times, but never really got into it, I guess.
* I got halfway through Literature/TheFaultinOurStars before I got too bored with the plot and too annoyed with the characters to finish. Watched the movie and the only thing I liked about it was the blind dude. Didn't care enough about Augustus to cry The in "Film/MarleyAndMe" made me more far more emotional to be honest.
* Literature/Divergent: There was only one character I found remotely interesting, and that was the villian, Jeanine Matthews, of all people. Then she died partway through the second book, and I did not care about any of the characters. And it sure didn't help that Divergent had a plot that was both cliched and contrived.
* I read Literature/TheColourOfMagic and Literature/TheLightFantastic in one go and immediately afterwards forgot everything that happened in a dismal haze. Except the upside-down mountain with dragons in it, or on it, or something. It was kinda cool. If I remember right. (This CMOI is especially weird because Literature/GuardsGuards has held particular meaning for me ever since I first read it, not knowing of the wider series, at age twelve.)
* I read Literature/TheGreatGatsby in school once. I didn't care what happened in the plot.
* I've read Literature/BagOfBones three or four times, because I keep forgetting that I read it already or what it's even about.
* Read the first three or four chapters of Literature/MalazanBookOfTheFallen, found myself still asking "who are these people?", "What are they even talking about?", and "Why should I care?" and set the book down forever.

* I turned on the TV once. It made noise while I was doing a research paper.
* I watched the original Series/KamenRider hearing how groundbreaking it was. It was... okay I guess. Out of the 100 episodes of the whole series, I immediately forgot what happened in about 80 of them immediately after said episodes ended.
* I watched an episode of Series/BreakingBad. It was good, but I didn't feel compelled to watch any other episodes.
** After watching 4th season finale I didn't felt any need to watch it further. And I've watched it till that point only because there was nothing else to do in the cabin during rainy week.
* When Adam was defeated. My exact thoughts were "Oh, wait, he's dead now?".
* A friend made a reference to a TV show I haven't watched during a conversation. I voiced my vague curiosity, but lost interest once she started explaining and looked at a bush.
* I started watching the first episode of Series/TheDresdenFiles. Turned it off when I got too bored.
* I was watching the MediaNotes/Academy Awards and went to check Website/Tumblr during a commercial break. Someone had posted about the guy from Series/Sherlock being in a Series/DoctorWho episode. I then went back to watching the Oscars.
* Watched Mister Rogers for the first time. Don't understand the love for it. OH GOD NEVERMIND I LIED. I FELT SO BAD TYPING THIS.
** It's perfectly okay. Never underestimate the power of Mr. Rogers.
* I watched Sam's first death scene in Series/Supernatural. Didn't feel anything.
** Saw bits and pieces of it myself. Never got hooked onto it.
* I watched Series/Firefly, and the follow-up movie Film/Serenity. I don't mind that there isn't another series.
** I mean, it wasn't all that bad. But really, it was just Creator/JossWhedon doing the same thing he'd been doing for the past six seasons on Buffy, and we were supposed to be impressed by his post-modern riffs on narrative (which we've seen before) and a non-existent genre (the spaghetti sci-fi western)? Say what you will about Series/Dollhouse, but at least he tried to get out of his comfort zone and make something fresh.
* I watched an episode of Series/DoctorWho for the first time the other day. It was entertaining enough. Then I ordered a pizza and watched a documentary about baseball.
* The dragons hatching at the end of Series/GameOfThrones first season. Meh, dragons became an overdone element long before this.
** Series/HouseOfTheDragon has a good cast indeed, but it' s not ground breaking. Had this show came out first, it would have never became a cultural fenomenon like its parent show because there is nothing original about. Its just another period drama about British or European monarchs, except this one takes place on Westeros. Series/Reign, Series/TheBorgias, Series/MagnificentCentury and Series/MagnificentCenturyKosem have exactly same feminist deconstructive premise.
* Series/TheLordOfTheRingsTheRingsOfPower is not as bad as the Internet make it look, they actually nailed what Tolkien wanted to convey about Orcs and the ethical problems behind their origins. In the same time, it lacks the spark and epicness of the movies, even The Hobbit, and the Orcs are not enough to hook up avid readers.
* I watched Series/MontyPythonsFlyingCircus to see why it was so popular. Although I understand why people would find it funny, I didn't have a reaction to it. I weren't humoured or annoyed about it.
* The blogs I follow are so focused on Series/StarTrekDiscovery right now. I mean ... it's better than Enterprise, but beyond that I can't really say anything about it. It's just kind of there.
* Series/Wednesday is boring, formulaic, basically Fanfic/MyImmortal the series. Goth girl in a wizard school where every dude falls for her, done, done and done so many times since the existence of Literature/HarryPotter. And this sudden wave of "I have Wednesday personality" girls (when in fact they probably spent their time in school bullying actual girls who where like Wednesday) whose entire personality is "I am not like the other girls" made it even less likely to enjoy it. Guess I am suffering from ItsPopularNowItSucks.

* I heard this song on the radio. I didn't feel like buying it from [=iTunes=], but I didn't change the station either.
* I never thought it would happen, but I've gotten bored of listening to music. I haven't enjoyed music in over a week now. And I can't bring myself to care about it.
* Listened to The 2nd Law. It was alright, I guess, but I just couldn't care about some of the songs.
* Most music from before about 1976 has this effect on me. It's all just so whitebread and forgettable.
* I listened to some 90s AlternativeRock. I don't get the hype. Other than Music/Blur, Music/BlindMelon, Music/Nirvana, and Music/Oasis, most of it is incredibly bland and forgettable.
* I listened to the bohemian rhapsody. It was kind of a bore. No idea why it's hyped.

* This troper watched his city explode in cheers and rapture last night because our local baseball team won the World Series. Then he shrugged and went back to playing VideoGame/Fable III.
* I love playing basketball with his friends, but do not understand nor care about the hype concerning the country's national basketball league playoffs or finals. Being forced to watch it live is only a waste of money and time. I consider stargazing a more interesting activity than the basketball league.
* One time, I watched an episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown. It was decent, but it didn't really compel me to watch more episodes, especially since I was also focused on playing VideoGame/WorldOfWarcraft at the time.
* This Brazilian finds soccer as boring as any other sport.

* This one time, I was trying to download a PDF of a TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons sourcebook. It failed. Then I tried to download it from a different site, and it succeeded. The sourcebook didn't have anything for sorcerers. I didn't read it again, until I read it a few months later. It still didn't. Then I closed the file, and looked at weird pornography. I was already desensitized.
* I checked the setting of , since everyone was talking how epic-grim-dark it is. Then I've found out it's a ForeverWar. Meh.

* Finally watched Theatre/TheMousetrap. I could guess the identity of the killer from kilometres away.
* Listened to the cast album of Theatre/Hamilton the other day. It's a rap musical about some guy who died a million bajillion years ago and his uneventful life. Who would waste so much money for this? Who would waste so much time just writing this?

* There was this time I beat a video game for the 11th time.
* 90% of [=MMOs=] I play, I get bored with after a week or so when I realize that there's no end goal.
* While playing VideoGame/GodzillaMonsterOfMonsters on the NES, I went through a period of about 30 minutes where I was vaguely aware that I wasn't enjoying myself at all, but kept playing anyway.
* After a few years of very passive searching I finally stumbled on one of the first games I played and downloaded it on freeware. It was just as I remember it - alright. Not as good as some of the newer games, but not too bad either. I am now almost totally ambivalent about it.
* I played all 3 Franchise/MassEffect games in sequence, and at the end of the 3rd game I thought to myself, I wonder if Tobuscus has updated his Minecraft LP yet.
** When Thane died on the suicide mission I thought to myself "Well that kind of sucks....I guess..." and then went on with the mission.
** Playing VideoGame/MassEffect2. Wow, you want me to stop the new baddies? Sure, like I recieved throngs of praise throughout the galaxy after I stopped the old ones in the first one.
** Played first game with only motivation to check out what everyone is talking about. Still don't know where the fun was. Nor felt any need to play rest of the series.
** Played the Omega DLC of VideoGame/MassEffect3 on insanity and didn't plan on touching Mass Effect for a while.
*** Trope also applies to any recent announcements of DLC or games for this series.
** Kept reading comment about how Garrus and Tali are the bestest friends/Li for Shepard. Decided to buy the second game and see what it was all about. Meh.
* After, some talk about VideoGame/BlazBlue, my friend told me about how he didn't like Isaak. Since I hadn't played it, I couldn't say I had any sort of reaction to what he said, aside from "oh, okay". I even lampshaded that fact to him.
* Around my 15th playthrough of VideoGame/TheForceUnleashed I achived a sort of bordem Nirvanna. I know that's misspelled. I don't care enough to say I don't care enough to care to finish this sentence. Or grammar. Also, Creator/DisneyChannel original movies. Pinnacle of bleah whatever.
* When I played VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIVTheBalladOfGayTony parked my Armored Car at a bridge and shot down a helicopter for the tenth time.
* I just realized a few moments ago that I haven't eaten in like 2 days. Then I went back to powersliding into my 10 millionth luchadore.
* Playing HeroCraft 2.03 on Warcraft III with two people is rather like sleeping...
* I played a NintendoHard mod of VideoGame/StarWarsBattlefront and won. AWinnerIsYou Conglaturations.
* I downloaded a map pack for VideoGame/Doom. I beat the map pack. Now I'm tired.
** Played a lot of Doom map packs and a few mods. Found Vanilla Doom stale.
* Just bought and beat the Minerva's Den single-player campaign in VideoGame/BioShock 2. Didn't get as much as an impact as the regular game did. Ah well, I got some trophies (and found a plot twist near the end, but I won't say).
* Got the VideoGame/EpicMickey Collector's Edition. Was okay, in contrast to my high level of excitement from months before release.
** My sister is playing VideoGame/EpicMickey, she still playing at 3/26/12, 5:49 PM , i dont care how long it will take her.
* People say the Dunwich Building of VideoGame/Fallout 3 is the most terrifying building ever. Me? I just walked in and sighed in boredom whenever the ghouls attacked me. When I heard their shrilling call, I mocked them saying, "Graaaaaggghhh yourself."
** The Dunwich Building can best be summed up as 'lights flicker, stuff falls over.'
** The Fallout itself. I find a perfect case of EvenBetterSequel and I've spent many happy hours with it. But the first game is just... dull.
* While I've enjoyed , it's BolivianArmyEnding never really convinced me it's worth playing second game. So I didn't
* Played Sonic 4 today. It's cool.
* I gained a level in a MMORPG.
* I once played a video game. It wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. I might put it away for a while and play it again when I'm bored.
* I've been playing VideoGame/Minecraft long since it stopped being fun. I've been mining in a straight line since about 2 O'clock. It is now 5 O'clock. I'm hungry now.
* Killed another Ganado today. Need more excitement.
** Watched another person blast Saddler with a rocket launcher. Okay.
** Unlocked the Handcannon on the [=PS2=] version and maxed it out again. Joy.
* Had a dream where JR was shouting Black Hole! Black Hole! After I punched Uranus and blew it up causing a massive black hole. I woke up and said that was stupid, and went back to sleep.
* The PSN is down right now, but I don't feel any different.
* I played VideoGame/SuperMario3DLand. It was great, but in the Special Worlds, it's hard, but I don't know if it sucks or it's awesome. I don't care.
* After being mercilessly spoiled about Skyward Sword before even playing it, I became cynically indifferent about spoilers altogether.
* This trope perfectly describes the emotional impact VideoGame/DragonAgeII had for me.
** I cite this trope as the reasoning behind buying VideoGame/DragonAgeOrigins and then selling it a week later.
* I played VideoGame/AmnesiaTheDarkDescent and I didn't feel even a shred of fear.
** I on the other hand became physically ill. Not because of the quality of the game (which was alright) but the shaking camera is not good for the eyes. It was tense but not enough to make me change my pants.
* I played the first two episodes of VideoGame/PennyArcadeAdventures earlier this month. They were pretty funny, but the gameplay was nothing to write home about. So I dunno, they were okay.
* I played VideoGame/Slender recently. My response was a resounding "meh".
* I completed VideoGame/TheWalkingDead and didn't shed a tear at the ending.
* This trope embodies my reaction toward upcoming games from once-beloved developer, Creator/SquareEnix.
** I Beat VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII and played it only enough to beat the two bonus bosses before finally kicking Orphan's ass. Never touched the game again, then avoided the sequels altogether.
* Got recommended Skyrim because I loved Fallout. "Dragons" isn't a convincing selling point.
* I played Might and Magic: Heroes VI once. Not a single fuck was given that day.
* People are getting all excited about the new VideoGame/2013 game. Me? I just roll my eyes and continue playing Skyrim.
** Skyrim? Really? *rolls eyes* Tell me you at least got some mods first.
** I played the game. Bad quicktime events and poor writing combined with decent gunplay and nice graphics for a strictly middle-of-the-road reboot.
** After hearing they are doing second reboot of this zombie I simply went back to reading my book.
* My cousin and I both played VideoGame/Slender the other day. While I screamed like a baby at almost every tiny noise made by the game, she didn't seem to care about anything, and upon encountering Slenderman for the first time she just said "no" very calmly, turned around, and walked away.
* Been playing VideoGame/StarFoxAssault and VideoGame/StarFoxAdventures a while back. Remember both of them as BaseBreakers, inducing either rage or extreme happiness. Blue boobs and linear gameplay balanced each other out, the games are playable and I'm fairly certain they're good for spending time, but hooked I am not.
* After being almost crushed under ClicheStorm and simply bored, I stop playing VideoGame/FirstEncounterAssaultRecon after two hours. I couldn't care less about the plot or how big the series is now.
* Gave VideoGame/KingdomsOfAmalurReckoning a try. Played for a few hours. Picked a lot of stuff up. Fought some guys. Died. Haven't played since.
* Finished VideoGame/BioShockInfinite. Was slightly frustrated by final boss, then sort of bored by the ending. Mind not particularly blown.
** I was going to start an argument about that like a jerk, but then I realized you're entitled to your opinion.
** I was one of the people that was more interested in the story of the city than the story of Elizabeth and Booker. So, pretty much every plot thread that focused on those two had that sort of reaction. " Wow. That is messed up I guess. So, what about the Vox Revolution? Come on. I want to know what is going on in the streets of the burning city below. I want to see firsthand the tragedy that befell its people, ripped apart by prejudice and ignorance. I want to...oh nevermind. We're in ".
** Similar reaction at the Burial at Sea DLC. I was utterly jovial to see Rapture at its height and when the ending came, my tears were not for but the sight of explosions lighting up the city in the background, highlighting the horrific end of what was meant to be the utopian solution to the human condition.
** i whuold say thats like more of a reaction to another thing then a non/reaction but whatever nothing matters anyway yawn
* I never finished VideoGame/EarthBound1994.
* I played VideoGame/SuperMario64 back to front. Got all 120 Stars. It was tough, but it was nice. But the ending, it was just... there.
* I've been so burnt out by gaming I think I'll be sitting out the next generation for a little while. Platform/PS4 and Platform/WiiU sound fun but I'm in no hurry to get either one.
* I played VideoGame/BatmanArkhamCity. It was decent. I played VideoGame/BatmanArkhamOrigins. It was decent. I imagine I'll play VideoGame/BatmanArkhamKnight. I imagine it'll be decent.
* I played about half-way through VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes before deciding it wasn't worth finishing, since I wasn't really enjoying the experience.
* Played VideoGame/HaloReach. Never had less of a reaction to a game.
* I, Troper/Kiereth, played VideoGame/Bastion once. It didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. The aesthetic was okay, but the IsometricProjection and the LemonyNarrator got on my nerves after a while. Since it only cost me about £1.99 in a Humble Bundle, I can't really muster up any hatred for it.
* Finally played VideoGame/MetalGearRisingRevengeance. For a game that everyone seems to worship, I found it... dull, at best. VideoGame/Bayonetta or VideoGame/DevilMayCry blow it out of the water by comparison.
* Every VideoGame/Pokemon main game from Gen II on has a moment where you will have beaten everything and are just spending your time searching for shinies and/or trying to get all your Pokémon to Level 100. The game makers are usually savvy enough to prevent this, but in X and Y they were rushed out a bit and the sole achievements for beating the champion are a roaming Moltres/Articuno/Zapdos (which you can't catch until you've seen it 10 times), Mewtwo (who, cool as he is, is not useful by this point), and the Looker sidequests. Most just get bored.
** And how about them Medals or achievements you get for doing stuff, like playing online matches? I can't be bothered even trying.
* I played VideoGame/FiveNightsAtFreddys and its sequel. While the anamatronics designs were kind of cool, it just wasn't scary. It relied far too heavily on Jump Scares and the gameplay got old fast.
** I was going to ask about the third game, but I lost interest.
* So here I am playing VideoGame/TeamFortress2. What's that? My team is losing? Yeah, they can do fine without me. I'll just sit in spawn and trade for that hat I want.
* I played VideoGame/Splatoon1 the other day. I was a kid, then I was a squid, then I quit the game and went and ate lunch and watched Youtube for a few hours.
* I played VideoGame/Ib a few times. It wasn't very scary, nor did it tell much of a story.
* I played VideoGame/KirbyTripleDeluxe, mostly for that game's final boss. The gameplay was alright like any other Kirby game. Didn't care for the re-used level sections in the last world, Metatoo being a hidden boss felt more like he came outta nowhere, and the Dededetour's final stretch went on for way too long. The keychains were neat. Cheesed True Arena with Stone, because playing fair in-game wasn't my thing.
* Looked at VideoGame/Undertale, decided "meh, not for me" and went for an idle game instead.
** The "jump scare", as people call it... isn't. A moderate speed zoom with a flashing background and a face that looks like a melting jack-o-lantern. I've seen worse. Nothing in the game is terribly frightening, really.
* I reached the end of VideoGame/LifeIsStrange Episode 4. What's that? Ok.
* I had high hopes for VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeonGatesToInfinity given how much I liked the last game. It was okay I guess. Still haven't finished it, but I don't know if I care enough to.
* Gave VideoGame/WorldofWarcraft a try after hearing endless praise as "worlds best MMORPG", after the third pallet swap enemy and bland quest system I returned to Videogame/RuneScape.
* This was the entire experience of the Film/ReignOfFire video game adaptadion.
* I don't think VideoGame/NightsIntoDreams is as great as its hardcore fanboys/fangirls make it out to be. The sequel, Journey Of Dreams, was even worse.
* Saw the conclusion to VideoGame/Persona 5. From the Shido arc to the end I could at best react with a scoff with how unremarkable and unmemorable it was.
* Loved each successive Franchise/AssassinsCreed (despite the original's tedious gameplay), including Revelations and III, and thought Black Flag was the best since II, but then a combination of lousy internet and a 7GB patch to fix the bugs in Unity made me suddenly realize I just didn't care about finishing the game or continuing with the franchise.
* Tried out the VideoGame/GrandTheftAuto series. Not bad, but can’t really see myself playing any of them for over an hour.
* Aside from the customization for the avatar character, my second run through VideoGame/SonicForces left me bored and wanting to play a better Sonic game. Don't ask why I did a second run.

* One day I was reading Webcomic/Homestuck and there was a rather long Pesterlog. I decided to skip it. Later on I found out it had plot relevant information so I went back and read it. Then I went on Facebook.
** I skip all the interactive/playable updates. I was annoyed when I realized Eridan's breakdown was in one, but not enough to go back and play through it just for that.
** Homestuck in general is something this troper is indifferent about. Tried reading it once, failed to be interested enough to continue. Was told it was 'worth it' and 'got better' despite the blah start - I DID try to read it a second time, but still decided something that bores me for the first hundred pages is NOT worth it. Don't particularly hate it, though, and if others think it's good, yay for them.
** I read the first 100 or so pages. It was okay, but it didn't catch my attention.
* I once read an WebComic/XKCD comic. I didn't get the reference but I understood where the joke was supposed to be.
** xkcd is best if you do get the references. Sorry, non-STEM/-web geek people.
* I read WebComic/ElGoonishShive. It was pretty good most of the time but now I'm caught up and the recent arcs are super boring. I'm sure people are enraged at all the anvils but I'm just indifferent and bored. I'm onky still reading out of habit.

* I once read an article on Encyclopedia Dramatica. I don't remember which one. Then I stopped reading mid-article and began playing Xbox. I don't remember the game.
** Same here, the first article can be amusing if you happen to stumble upon something juicy like the Amazing Atheist's page, but by the time you reach you're third page or so it just kind of runs together into unforgettable and rather "meh" insult humor that doesn't really offend your or make you laugh, just pure apathy.
* Years ago Goatse made me shiver with disgust when I first saw it. Now I am so desensitized that the "Offended" page on ED, most shock sites and weird fetish porn can't even manage to get a reaction from me.
* Someone pulled a prank on a forum once. Episode 3 was apparently cancelled by Gabe. I was filled with a strong feeling of neutrality, having never played it myself. Upon further inspection, it turned out it was regarding Webcomic/PennyArcade. I was filled with an even stronger feeling of neutrality at this point.
* Sometimes I read creepypasta and it has no effect on me.
** Same here. Some of them are kinda creepy (I guess), but most aren't.
** Just read a story on CreepyPasta called Literature/TheRake because my friend was scared by it. Completely indifferent. ~~~~
** I saw a slenderman creepypasta, not really scary, but i don't know why is it in the 'Shock Ending' page.
* Some reviewer on the internet made a video on a film or video game I like and trashed it. I disagreed with their opinion, but I found their perspective interesting and the video was still pretty entertaining. I guess.
* Saw a guy on a forum rant about how everything in his childhood was awesome and everything modern sucks. Same ol', same ol'.
* I read Average Woona Adventures. It was just as advertised.
* Went to Website/TvTropes after hearing about how addicting it is and about all the things it can do for your life. It's articulate, but rather bland and everything seems the same. I haven't been back since. I think.
* I watched SMG4 a few weeks ago. It was funny, but too over-reliant on sex jokes in my opinion.

* As much as I keep trying to convince myself that I'm a fan of animation, I've pretty much come to accept the fact that I have a burning indifference towards animation in general. What I find is that the work has to be something I find to be very special and unique (such as the case with Bravest Warriors and Inside Out), otherwise I can't bring myself to care about it at all, which is how I feel about all animation in general.
* Saw WesternAnimation/SchoolhouseRock the other day. Already knew how to multiply by 3, though.
* When I first saw Transwarped, Team Rodimus' appearance, while for many was the most epic start of anything since the invention of silverware or television, had absolutely no effect on me. I wasn't even paying attention to it, and I forgot 90% of what happened there. All I remember is Rodimus asking for help. How awesome.
* I decided to watch WesternAnimation/DoraTheExplorer's 10th anniversary. Then I decided to go on the computer and mind my business as if I didn't just watch a show I'm too old for.
* So I saw WesternAnimation/ClerksTheAnimatedSeries, and from previous accounts I hear stuff like it was "canceled too early for its own good and blah blah" and so I expected it to be good. It's not that it's a bad cartoon, it's just that the humor is just... generic, I feel that the same type of humor has already been used in many other examples before and after the show was made.
* My first reaction to King Ramses' when I was six. Not scary at all. Nope. Still doesn't scare me one bit.
** I was never scared by anything in that show. Maybe I'm just desensitized.
* I once decided to go through the entire Franchise/MyLittlePony series, culminating in G3. I expected to hate it outright, but...well, I just found it passable. Nothing special. They weren't terrible, but I wouldn't call them "good" either. It was just...meh. Except for the "special day" series and "Newborn Cuties" of course.
* After seeing so much gushing and controversy surrounding it, I finally sat down and watched WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic. Outside of the gorgeous animation, it was simply okay. Not as good as the fans made it out to be, not as bad as the haters made it out to be. Just... okay.
** Well, I for one was not impressed at all. Not unimpressed, either.
** I could have been a brony, but really bronies, is it really worth the time and money? i think is it just like...... meh......... 2.1/10, I don't care if bronies hate me for this.
* I watched the first season of WesternAnimation/Motorcity, but the only thing stopping it from being entirely bland is Texas and the animation.
* In universe, Dr. Doofenshmirtz has an intense burning indifference to Christmas. He sings about it in WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerbChristmasVacation.
** People say WesternAnimation/PhineasAndFerb is a good show. But aside from the songs, I just find it so... okay.
* WesternAnimation/GravityFalls is okay and mildly entertaining, but not that great. But all of its fans hype it up to be something really awesome in a revolutionary way, even though it's not mind-blowing and doesn't have anything I haven't already seen before.
* WesternAnimation/AdventureTime has some funny jokes in it, but the writers try way too hard to appeal to older fans. Between the actually funny parts and the bad attempts at substance I'm just so "meh."
* I've watched a lot of the Post-Movie SpongeBob episodes, I don't really consider many of them that bad, but they aren't that good either, It's got its mixture of bad and good episodes even to this date like any other show can get, some more than others. While I do wish it would just get off the air already, I feel it's more in the middle these days than downright horrible.
* I watched Jurassic Bark from WesternAnimation/Futurama. People have told me it was the best episode ever. To me, it would be a compliment to call it a boring melodrama.
** I don't care about dogs.
** Watched "The Late Philip J. Fry". Definitely not a bad episode, but honestly there are others I find more emotional and enjoyable. Besides, it completely messes up the canon.
* Watched some episodes of WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender. It was okay. Probably won't go out of my way to watch it whenever its on.
** I bothered to watch the whole series. Lots of people praise it as a pinnacle of achievement, but... I just find it okay. I really don't know what it is. Maybe it was HypeBacklash from high expectations? Or maybe the show's just old? I suspect I don't find the characters very likable for my personal tastes, but I don't know if it's that either.
* So I decided to watch WesternAnimation/SonicTheHedgehogSatAM once, sat through all 26 episodes. Really generic 90s cartoon, I can honestly say that I wouldn't have given a rip about if it didn't have Sonic in it. And even that small shred of interest died once I realized that you could replace Sonic with Poochie and not change a thing.
* I watch WesternAnimation/RegularShow sometimes. I could take it or leave it.
* The entirety of . It wasn't bad by any means, and I might watch another episode or two, but I can't help but feel a mix of confusion and guilt whenever I see its stellar reviews (and there are a lot of those) online. ...And now I feel guilty, again.
** It's nothing different from anything else on Creator/AdultSwim. It puzzles me that anyone would claim that it's an exception to the idea that adult animation is crude and dumb, when in fact it still indulges in extreme levels of crude humor and graphic violence.
** To be fair...
*** My IQ has not changed after watching the show. Meh.
* Just watched an episode of WesternAnimation/RobotAndMonster. Other than Robot's Main/ButtMonkey moments being a bit much, I didn't think it was terrible or anything. Not the worst Creator/Nickelodeon show, but hardly anything special either.
* Just sat through WesternAnimation/OverTheGardenWall. Very generic modern toon with run-of-the mill cast talking in script-speak. Not horrible or anything, but nothing to make me care.
* WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest isn't anywhere near as bad as people say it is, but it's not a cartoon that I would watch all day.
* Ever since I was a child I have found WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes hard to pay attention to due to its slow pace.
** Huh. That's something you don't read every day.
* WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil: It's....a thing. The first season was pretty solid, but sometimes suffered from too-fast pacing. Also, Ponyhead is one of the worst characters to ever exist. Then in season 2, it decided to cash in on the popularity of several story-driven 'toons by becoming story-driven. I was actually quite invested in the story at the time, but combined with Star becoming a DesignatedHero and the crappy romance subplots, it just fell apart. TL;DR: I used to like it, but now I'm indifferent to it. I will say this: Eclipsa is the best character on the show and one of the best cartoon characters of the 2010s.
* WesternAnimation/HighGuardianSpice did not deserve the excessive hate it got, but the show itself is nothing remarkable either. I have no strong feelings one way or the other. Snapdragon best girl though.
* The animated series version of WesternAnimation/NapoleonDynamite was alright. Had some good jokes but was overall a generic animated FOX comedy series.
