Maybe it was HypeBacklash from high expectations? Or maybe the show's just old? I suspect I don't find the characters very likable for my personal tastes, but I don't know if it's that either.

Really generic 90s cartoon, I can honestly say that I wouldn't have given a rip about if it didn't have Sonic in it. And even that small shred of interest died once I realized that you could replace Sonic with [[WesternAnimation/TheSimpsons Poochie]] and not change a thing.

Also, Ponyhead is one of the worst characters to ever exist. Then in season 2, it decided to cash in on the popularity of several story-driven 'toons by becoming story-driven. I was actually quite invested in the story at the time, but combined with Star becoming a DesignatedHero and the crappy romance subplots, it just fell apart. TL;DR: I used to like it, but now I'm indifferent to it. I will say this: Eclipsa is the best character on the show and one of the best cartoon characters of the 2010s.
354	* ''WesternAnimation/HighGuardianSpice'' did not deserve the excessive hate it got, but the show itself is nothing remarkable either. I have no strong feelings one way or the other. Snapdragon best girl though.
