!!This actress contains examples of:
* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: In Japanese pop-culture, she remains ''the'' blueprint for femme fatales, generating parodies in the lines of ''Manga/OnePiece'' (see "Namiron Stone" in the ''Detective Loomes'' {{Omake}} strip) and ''Manga/DetectiveConan'' (see Vermouth's entire design).
* MsFanservice: After the success of ''Film/BasicInstinct'', Stone was typecast in several erotic thrillers trying to replicate its success, such as ''Film/{{Sliver}}'' and ''Film/TheSpecialist''.
* StarMakingRole: Two.
** While her role in the 1985's ''Literature/KingSolomonsMines'' adaptation was ravaged by critics, it still put her in the spotlight after a series of minor roles and kickstarted her career.
** ''Film/BasicInstinct'', which made her go from being "hey, it's that chick" to easily the most recognisable (and lusted after) Hollywood actresses. Sharon also, naturally inspired the BasicInstinctLegsCrossingParody.
* StarDerailingRole: While her involvement with making ''Film/Catwoman2004'' is usually brought up, it was a mere aftermath to the disaster that ''Literature/{{Sphere}}'' turned out to be. In fact, she took the role in ''Catwoman'' solely because there was nothing better for her after ''Sphere''.
* StatuesqueStunner: Sharon is listed as being 5'9" in height.
