5	Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and the second eldest daughter of the late Robert Kardashian (a famed attorney of UsefulNotes/{{Armenia}}n descent from the O.J. Simpson trial), Kim has become, along with longtime boss/friend Creator/ParisHilton, a poster girl for {{socialite}}s who become famous simply for merely existing in the world into which they were born. She first gained media attention through her friendship with Hilton (and working as a fashion designer for her), but she received wider notice after a 2003 sex tape with R&B singer Music/RayJ, her former boyfriend, was leaked in 2007. Later that year, she and her family began to appear in the reality television series ''Series/KeepingUpWithTheKardashians''. Its success has led to the creation of {{Spinoff}}s focusing on her extended family.

7	Like Hilton, Kardashian and her family have been known for eliciting a great amount of hatred due to their FamousForBeingFamous status, and the world just seems to love that. In fact, the hate has played an invaluable part in her receiving popularity that has arguably surpassed what Paris has achieved for the status. She's also known for numerous instances of what many have deemed blithe ignorance at best and oblivious stupidity at worst; one example of this is a "good will" mission to Haiti in 2012 which more or less earned her the ire of the ''entire country'' due to several actions she committed, most notably refusing to visit an orphanage and instead demanding the orphans be bussed to ''her''.

9	In the summer of 2018, she began an apprenticeship with a San Francisco based law firm to eventually become a licensed attorney. California allows for one to forgo law school and take the bar if completing a four-year program like this.

She had a high-profile marriage to Music/KanyeWest from 2014 to 2021, and had four kids (two boys, two girls) with him. As of 2022, her net worth is $1.8 billion.
