Describe--BALLS--here.

Ahem. Anyway, Christopher Robin Sabat (born April 22, 1973) is one of the most well-known Creator/FUNimation voice actors. It's no surprise, really, considering that he's voiced several popular characters. The characters he voices tend to be either badass, LargeAndInCharge, or even both. Also known to be quite the LargeHam, for his self-deprecating humour and being extremely tolerant of fans asking him to reproduce the infamous "over 9000" line originated by Creator/BrianDrummond (despite, by his own admission, not having any idea what they were talking about at first). Hearing him speak in interviews can be a little jarring, as his real voice sounds nothing like any of his roles, and he delights in shifting from his real voice to one of his characters instantly to amuse people.

Has a cameo as a piano player and voiced Mr. Munch in Film/ChuckECheeseInTheGalaxy5000.

----
!! Tropes and trivia:

* ActingForTwo: Having such a versatile range of voices allows him to play multiple characters in a show. This can be easily seen in Anime/DragonBallZ and its various spin-off media, where he plays Piccolo, Vegeta, Yamcha, and several other minor characters in the show that end up talking with one another.
* AwesomeDearBoy:invoked He played Solid Snake in WebAnimation/DeathBattle for free because he's always wanted to voice Snake.
* CreatorsFavoriteinvoked: It's very clear that Sabat is very fond of Vegeta, being his most well-known role. His Twitter username used to be [=VoiceOfVegeta=] for a reason. However, he has also called All Might as one of his best roles.
* CreatorsPestinvoked: During a discussion on Twitter with Kaiser Neko about Gohan's role in the overall narrative of Anime/DragonBallZ, Sabat made himself clear that he doesn't like Gohan as an adult that much. Interestingly, he is fond of the Great Saiyaman.
--> Sabat: You know who removed that fire [In Videl's passion as a fighter]? Gohan. Plain and simple. He bored her into retirement. Because Gohan is the most milquetoast character in the show. I think Kyle knows how I feel about adult Gohan. Now if Gohan had decided to stay Great Saiyaman for the rest of the series THEN he would have been perfect.
* TheOtherMarty: Was the Eric Stoltz to Creator/JohnDiMaggio during the development of Gears of War 2, as the latter's ability to reprise his role as Marcus Fenix was in question due to the 2007-08 Writers Guild of America strike.
* PlayingAgainstType: Most of Sabat's roles are the big, loud, LargeHam manly man type of characters, but in VideoGame/MetroidPrime3Corruption, he played Rundus who was significantly quieter, and Dr. Arthur Watts in WebAnimation/RWBY who was the gentlemanly and elegant type. He also played Daisuke Jigen in Franchise/LupinIII, who is known as a coolheaded and (compared to Lupin) generally sensible DeadpanSnarker.
