5	''Ninja High School'' is a [[{{Animesque}} manga-inspired]] comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Ben Dunn, and currently published by Creator/AntarcticPress. While it was originally intended as a parodic mini-series, the comic became so popular that it became a full series, currently totalling over 160 issues and many miniseries and special issues. The annual specials ''Ninja High School Yearbook'' and ''Ninja High School Swimsuit Edition'' [[OfficialFanSubmittedContent are entirely composed of art and stories created and contributed by fans]].

7	The story centers on [[UnluckyEverydude Jeremy Feeple]], [[OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent a student at Quagmire High]], who soon encounters a beautiful female [[{{NINJA}} ninja]] named Itchy Koo (real name Ichikun Ichinohei) and an AlienPrincess named Asrial -- [[ArrangedMarriage who have both been ordered to marry him]]. The earlier stories focus on [[UnwantedHarem the girls' comedic attempts to marry this seemingly plain, ordinary high school boy]]. As the story progressed, backstories were given to the core characters, and an extensive supporting cast developed. While early stories focused mainly on slapstick, [[CerebusSyndrome later story arcs have become more serious]], delving into [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids murder]], {{drugs\|AreBad}}, and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking homosexuality]].

11	''Ninja High School v2'' was an attempted SpinOff set after a TimeSkip, revolving around Jeremy's thrill-seeking younger brother Ricky; it originally ran alongside the original series, but the new storyline was brought back into the main title though Ricky was now the main character.

14	* Original series (Vol 1-9). Ran for 100 issues. 1987 to November, 2002 (Yes, ''[[LongRunner fifteen years]]''). The first bulk is mostly that of Jeremy's adventures with a few stories focused on side characters. Later on most of the stories focused on Ricky and his own entourage of girls (In this case Lendo's step-sister Yumei, Superhero Heidi, and a Salusian Princess with a purchased title, Solora). This is considered Vol 2 of the series. There is also the mini series "Quagmire USA".
15	* Hawaiian series (#101-129, December, 2002 - June, 2005): Focuses on supporting character, Yumei, as she goes to Hawaii under the request of a family member and has her own adventures.
16	* Shidoshi series (#130-175, August, 2005-August, 2009) : Continuation of vol 2, something of a reboot of the series to distinguish it from the original. The story now focuses entirely on Ricky and a new cast of characters as they come into conflict with a deadly rival ninja clan.
17	* Volume Three: An attempt at a revival series in June 2014 which saw a new alien race calling themselves the "Kuroni" have possessed the people of Quagmire and plan to enslave all of Earth. Anne Feeple and Prof Steamhead are the only two unaffected and are forced to jump to an alternate dimension to find means to defeat them. Thus setting this series in a new world. However the series slipped back into a hiatus after the 176 issue was released with only "Super Ninja High School", a one-off that had the characters dealing with [[{{Expy}} expies]] of video game characters, release. After ''six years'', the comic finally resumed.

Their muzzle is less pronounced than an actual skunk's muzzle, and they have hands and platigrade feet, but they otherwise greatly resemble human-sized striped skunks. In a bit of BizarreSexualDimorphism, only female Salusians have tails.
47	* {{Because Destiny Says So}}: Anna, Jeremy and Ricky's mother, springs this on Jeremy after Ichi and Astral come into his life. Ironic in that years down the line, Ricky would [[ScrewDestiny go against this saying]].
48	** In fact this becomes a major theme in the second half of the series and fuels the conflict with the Elder Stars who are so rooted in their traditions that the protagonists are forced to go against them if they wish to run their own lives. 53	** Shidoshi Arc: [[spoiler: Yuudai dies without having his final battle with Ricky who informs him the original Red Ninja whom Yuudai original fought against is still alive. Though Ricky at the least gives him an honorable funeral. Ricky's group take on the Elder Stars and have to settle for just bankrupting them then defeating them in combat, though do get the victory of not allowing them to claim the Red Ninja title (long story short, a lot of family complications as Anna is still technically part of the ninja clan the Elder Stars come from and by right still holds the title. Since she's in another world, that title lands on Ricky and the Stars have to defeat him to reclaim it regardless if the Elder Stars don't consider them a true ninja clan). Tetsuo can't marry his true love, Nanashi, due to a arrange marriage he couldn't get out of. So he puts on a façade of going back to his overly ambitious ways to chase her off. However we see he still pines for her despite having everything he wants, but is content that she's safe, sets up a bank account for her to use in three months and ultimately erasing all traces of her so the Elder Stars can't go after her anymore. After some time passes and the protagonists have grown up, Ricky finds the original Red Ninja and engages in combat with him to both dismantle the Elder Stars and their corrupt ninja governing, as well as defeat him on Yuudai's behalf. The story ending just as they rush each other.]]

Despite dearly wishing to see his family again, Bob is stuck there because the chemicals in his system fatally disrupt the rats' portal technology, and even if that weren't a problem, dimensional travel is normally fatal for non-magical adults.
