Released on July 12, 2012 for the [=VOCALOID3=] engine. Luo Tianyi is an angel who came to earth with a mission to spread music throughout the world. Tianyi can detect "the song of your heart" and it can be interpreted as the strongest emotion a person has at the moment or a melody that represents them. Even if people cannot express the melody themselves, Tianyi can still hear it and sing it.
----
* AccidentalKiss: Or at least, something that looks like it [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbkeYAHCelk in one of Tianyi's demos]], involving her with Ling.
* AlienAmongUs: Tianyi's official profile states that she was summoned to earth with an important mission, and arrived in the guise of a Vocaloid.
* BigEater: Tianyi. Originating from one of Tianyi's first popular works, ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTmd7mI6WWQ Millennium Recipe Song]]'', which was a tribute to Chinese cuisine. Often PlayedForLaughs in official promotions, making this AscendedFanon.
* BreakoutCharacter: She is the most popular of the Chinese vocaloids and is at times jokingly referred to as the Chinese equivalent of Hatsune Miku.
* MeaningfulName: "Luo" after [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous the last name of the goddess of music, Luoshen]]. "Tian" means Tianlai, the sound of nature (to describe a beautiful voice), "Yi" is short for "Yiren" that means fair lady in ancient Chinese.
* StarfishLanguage: Tianyi knows nothing about human language, so she can only sing to express her feelings.
* TheEmpath: Tianyi can feel and read the hidden songs in a human mind. She can also turn the repeating thoughts of a person, into a song.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Yayin's (presently Tianyi) favorite food is haw apple, and Tanghulu made by haw apple.
** Now, Tianyi is known for [[BigEater eating just about everything]].

Released on July 17, 2015 for the [=VOCALOID3=] engine. Ling's family runs the huge Yuezheng company, a business that makes instruments and music. Her personality is very straight forward and can sometimes be seen as blunt as she does not care for details. She is extremely generous and energetic, for she spends 3/4 of the day running all over the place and sometimes, her high spirit causes boys to become jealous. She loves music, experiencing new things, and huge, fluffy dolls. However, Ling has many annoying issues in her life, mostly related to her older brother, Yuezheng Longya.
----
* GenkiGirl: Ling's official profile states she is active and full of life. She likes to experience new things and even out competes the boys.
* IdiotHair: Similar with her older brother, Yuezheng Longya.
* {{Ojou}}: Ling, being the daughter of a wealthy conglomerate's CEO.
* PosthumousCharacter: Released after [=VOCALOID4=].
* UnclePennybags: Ling and Longya are heirs to an immense fortune, but are nonetheless depicted as down-to-earth musicians.

Released on June 28, 2017 for the [=VOCALOID4=] engine. Longya is Yuezheng Ling's older brother and the heir to the Yuezheng corporation. He has an agile mind and many people look up to him. Like his sister, he is straightforward, but he also possesses the ability to make important decisions correctly and has the strong aura of a leader. His weakness includes troublesome issues, and the only time he's not bothered is when they are related to his younger sister. He is very protective of Ling and can become slightly hysterical when dealing with situations related to her.
----
* BigBrotherInstinct: Longya's official profile states that he has a bit of a sister complex.
* FollowInMyFootsteps: Longya is expected to take over the FamilyBusiness in the future.
* UnclePennybags: Ling and Longya are heirs to an immense fortune, but are nonetheless depicted as down-to-earth musicians.

Released on August 2, 2018 for the [=VOCALOID4=] engine. Moke is a genius with an IQ of 168. Even though he always wears an innocent and warming smile, he is actually the most Otaku of all Otaku. By starting threads in forums, editing, and uploading {{M|usicvideos}}Vs, he is seen as a "god" by some people on the internet. He is sometimes mistaken as a girl; although he claims that he hates this, there are unconfirmed rumors of a popular cross-dressing cosplayer appearing in various comic conventions who looks very similar to him. Because he usually doesn't talk, most people will take him as a "nice boy", but he will reveal his true Otaku self when he is with close friends. He acts somewhat like a professional debater when talking about anime or other Otaku topics, but tends to react poorly to subjects that do not interest him.
----
* ChildProdigy: Moke, with an IQ of 168.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: Moke. His official profile states that he is often mistaken for a girl. And though he dislikes it, it is rumored he once [[{{Crossdresser}} cosplayed as a girl]] during a cosplay convention.
* {{Otaku}}: Moke, surprisingly. He's also quite skilled at making [[AnimeMusicVideo MADs]].
* RavenHairIvorySkin: Moke.
* ShrinkingViolet: Moke is said to not talk much, and is a quiet boy. He smiles at everyone, but can be frank. And he has a dislike of being alone, though he does have close friends who know he's an Otaku.

!!Mo Qingxian
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/qingxian_v4.png]]
[[caption-width-right:250:Artwork for [=VOCALOID4=]]]
[[caption-width-right:250:[[labelnote:Click here to see her debut design]] https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mo_42.jpg[[/labelnote]]]]
Released on August 2, 2018 for the [=VOCALOID4=] engine. Because of her elegant and mature outlook, Qingxian is extremely popular in school. Even though she seems to be a mysterious character, she actually has a slow reaction due to her poor health. She dresses fashionably most of the time, yet her actions show great elegance and traditional beauty. Qingxian loves traditional Chinese literature and is capable of skillfully playing many traditional Chinese instruments. Even though she reacts slowly, she still tries her best to take care of the juniors and people around her. She also has a tendency to become randomly philosophical.
----
* AloofDarkhairedGirl: Qingxian. Her official profile states that she is quite popular; cool, stable, and good-looking. She's so mysterious that some people fear her.
* TheFashionista: Qingxian, her outfits are described as fashionable.
* YamatoNadeshiko: Qingxian (even though she's, well, Chinese), her behavior is regarded as being a 'traditional lady'. She likes ancient books, poems, understand Tao, and likes traditional Chinese instruments. She is also generous and kind towards others.
----
!!YANHE
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/yanhe_full.png]]
[[caption-width-right:250:Artwork for [=VOCALOID3=]]]

The second Chinese Vocaloid, released on July 11, 2013. Her design was chosen from a character design contest like Tianyi before her. Her design is quite sporty.

-----
* AmbiguousGender: Canonically female, but her [[TomboyishVoice deep voice]] and BoyishShortHair were cause for dispute within the fandom in her early days.
* BoyishShortHair: Quite possibly the shortest for a female Vocaloid.
* SixthRanger: Her appearances in Vsinger concerts treat her as the newest member of the gang above.
* TomboyishVoice: A natural result of [[spoiler:being the original voice for Zhiyu Moke, before controversy forced the company to run a new design contest to match her voicebank.]]

Stardust, also known in Chinese as Xingchen, is a Chinese VOCALOID developed by Shanghai HENIAN Information Technology Co. Ltd., in collaboration and distributed by Quadimension (as well as successor group Beijing Photek S&T Development Co., Ltd.) for the VOCALOID 4 engine in April 2016. She is the first VOCALOID created for the Voicebank Customize Project, and later joined Beijing Photek's Medium⁔ project with the Synthesizer V vocals Chiyu, Shian, Cangqiong, and Haiyi.

She is voiced by Chalili, a Chinese utaite.
----
* {{Crossover}}: She gets one with ''VideoGame/AzurLane'', where her outfit is worn by Unicorn.
* {{Expy}}: While her original twintailed design brought comparisons to Miku, the purple hair, tress ties, and space theme got her pegged as one to Yukari by Japanese fans.
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: They evoke her spacial nature.

[[caption-width-right:164:Artwork for [=VOCALOID4=]]]
Hailing from the manhua ''Chuchu Dong Ren'', Zhang Chuchu was the first Vocaloid created by Shanghai Wangcheng. Her voice provider is Wan Su.
----
* AdaptationDyeJob: Unlike her brunette manhua counterpart, her hair is all pink.
* TheFashionista: Described as being a fashion idol who hopes to make every girl feel like a princess with her clothing.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Guess what her favorite color is.
* PrettyButterflies: Her outfit is positively decked in them.

The fourth English Vocaloid, the first Vocaloid released by [=PowerFX=], and the first Vocaloid released for the [=Vocaloid2=] engine[[note]]although not in Japan, where Miku was first[[/note]], Sweet Ann is voiced by an Australian singer under the stage name of "Jody".

-----
* MamaBear: According to Oliver's Twitter account, she doesn't take kindly to Oliver getting hurt.
* OlderThanTheyLook: The ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV99NZmurVA Madness of Duke Venomania]]'' PV says she's 62. [[SubvertedTrope Canonically (at least in the Taiwan version), she's 23.]]
* PhenotypeStereotype: Even in Taiwan, Sweet Ann can not escape being portrayed as a blond-haired blue eyed American cowgirl by some means. This continues despite the fact that her origins are Swedish.
* PunnyName: Sweet Ann = Sweden.
* SteamPunk: E-capsule Sweet Ann gives off this impression to viewers.

!!Big Al
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/big_al_6163.png]]
Since Big-Al was announced years before his actual release due to complications with recording the voice bank, for a while he was the VideoGame/DukeNukemForever of the Vocaloid community. However, he was eventually released with a voice bank provided by [=PowerFX=] staff Frank Sanderson and a more {{Animesque}} design ([[https://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/File:Ofclboxart_pwrfx_Big_Al-old.jpg his original artwork]], done in the style of Sweet Ann's, was often regarded as Nightmare Fuel) as the seventh English Vocaloid.

-----
* AnimeHair: Particularly his third boxart design (E-capsule), which is of the SpikyHair variety.
* BadassLongcoat: In his Taiwanese designs.
* IconicItem: A pocket watch, apparently as a reference of him being "late"[[note]]The infamous "Big Al Syndrome" is a tendency for a male Vocaloid's release date to be delayed; this syndrome is shown first on, obviously, Big Al[[/note]].
* SinisterScythe: E-capsule Big Al has one.
* YoungerAndHipper: Most people interpret the grey streaks in his hair as a sign that he's at least in middle age. That said, the Taiwanese version looks much younger than him, is more slender, and has a head full of brown hair.

!!Oliver
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vocaloid3_oliver_offical_art_by_lawlietlk-d4fy8od_3682.jpg]]
Announced on October 15, 2011. Oliver is the name of [=PowerFX=]'s [=Vocaloid3=] made in collaboration with the new American Vocaloid company [=VocaTone=], which notably consists of passionate Vocaloid fans. His voice is provided by an anonymous 13-year-old British boy.

Early fan supporters couldn't be deterred from making art based on him, even before any details of his design were revealed. [=VocaTone=] did release [[http://images.wikia.com/vocaloid/images/9/91/Vocaloid_Oliver_Silhouette.jpg a silhouette of him]] ahead of time, which helped considerably.

On November 12, 2011, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0arO6enDylQ three]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZXBZFADRRc dem]][[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aGomQhxzEs os]] and his official artwork were released. Additional demos continued to appear until Oliver made his actual debut on December 21, 2011.

He [[SyntheticVoiceActor provides the voice]] of Puppycat in ''WesternAnimation/BeeAndPuppycat''.

----
* AxCrazy: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxyFwDQN08s Pumpkin March]] portrays him as an insane TortureTechnician who believes HumansAreTheRealMonsters.
* BreakoutCharacter: Not on Miku's level (yet) but so far, he's slowly but surely been rising in the ranks to becoming one of (if not ''the'') the most popular English Vocaloid.
* CherubicChoir: He can be used to make one.
* ChildSoldier: His official design gives off vibes of this. And he has [[FridgeHorror bandages on his legs and left eye]]... Atlthough it's actually based off the [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna_Boys%27_Choir Vienna Boy's Choir]].
* CreepyChild: Some songs [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHP-1vMd7Es like this one]] portrayed him as such. And it'll be hard to shake that reputation off of him, considering some of his greatest hits are songs about unsettling subjects and ''eating a live tarantula''.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow
* TheCutie: Oh God... Just listen to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aGomQhxzEs&feature=feedu this]] and try to resist the urge to hug him through the screen.
* EyepatchOfPower: He has a bandage over his left eye.
* HotterAndSexier: When he's drawn in his older teenage years.
* NonHumanSidekick: He's often depicted this way with the the bird featured on the boxart, James. James' popularity was so great that [=VocaTone=] [[AscendedMeme took advantage of it]], in ways including but not limited to: 1) an official demo song of Oliver, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aGomQhxzEs Dinky Dink]]", where James is shown wearing CoolShades; 2) Oliver's official Twitter account claims to actually be administered by James, with Oliver dictating to him what to post; 3) James was hinted to be able to speak; and 4) [=VocaTone=] played an April Fool's joke by announcing that James would become a Vocaloid of his own, as Bird-loid.
* TokenMiniMoe: Of the POWER FX line.

A male Vocaloid released on September 10, 2013. He is voiced by Swedish Visual Kei artist YOHIO. Despite his Swedish origins, he has English and Japanese voicebanks. Beta of his Japanese bank can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN0nEyuHEm4&feature=player_embedded here]], and a couple of his English demos are [[http://www.http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/vocaloid/images/d/d1/Final_Design_UNI.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/270?cb=2015122618130youtube.com/watch?v=ul69tkbpVHA&feature=player_embedded here]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0SyNoTd8ss&feature=player_embedded here.]] His design was determined by a contest, chosen by YOHIO himself.
----
* AffectionateNickname: The Twitter {{Character Blog}}s had the other [=PowerFX=] characters christen him as "Hio".
* {{Ahoge}}
* BadassLongcoat
* BigBrotherInstinct: In works where he's alongside Oliver.
* BilingualBonus: He can speak in both English and Japanese.
* CompanionCube: Cubi, a black cubical object that floats around him. Stated to be his pet and music player.
* {{Determinator}}: His past self shown shades of this in the song ''[=NeapolitaN=]''. His current self [[DoubleSubvertedTrope double subverts]] this, as he was shown to be pessimistic at first, before finally standing up after seeing the reflection of his past self.
* HairOfGold
* NoNameGiven: According to [[http://vocatoneofficial.tumblr.com/post/83026019669/vocatone-character-profile-2-vocaloid-3 [=VocaTone=]'s Tumbir]], his character does not have a given name.

!! Ruby
[[quoteright:230:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ruby_icon.jpg]]
The second English Vocaloid made for the V4 engine. She was slated for release on September 23, 2015 along with Arsloid, but her distribution was delayed until she was available for digital release in October 2015. She is meant to have a general American accent similar to her voice provider Misha.
Her design was made by Natasha Allegri of ''WebAnimation/BeeAndPuppycat'' and ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime'' fame.
----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: As of late, it hasn't been confirmed what ethnicity Ruby is stated to be. WordOfGod says she's of Latina descent.
* ColorCodedStones: With rubies, obviously. As such, she's heavily associated with red, and by extension, pink.
* {{Foil}}: She's described to be the opposite of Miku.
* RockThemeNaming: Named after the jewel, ruby.
* SpicyLatina: WordOfGod confirms she's Latina. Adding to the "spicy" part is her intended portrayal of being "upbeat and sporty", and the general HotBlooded-ness her design conveys.
* SymbolMotifClothing: She has a ruby emblem on the back of her hoodie.
* {{Tomboy}}: WordOfGod states that Ruby was designed with an "upbeat and sporty" personality in mind.

!!Leon
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Vocaloid_Leon_4218.jpg]]

The first Vocaloid (alongside Lola) - ever - and the first male English Vocaloid. He was released by Zero-G and runs under the original Vocaloid engine.

Due to the obsolescence of the Vocaloid 1 engine, he is due to be retired and pulled out of sales after December 31, 2013.

-----
* BlueBoyPinkGirl: Leon's boxart is blue, in contrast with Lola's pink boxart.
* DemotedToExtra: While he and LOLA were some of the first VOCALOID synthesizers, time has not been kind to them. Neither are particular fan favorites like MIRIAM, and over the years fell to the wayside in favor of more advanced English synthesizers. That's not to say they don't have fans--they're just unlucky.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: In the Japanese fandom, one of his popular visualizations, was as a sweet young man with blonde hair.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: With Leon having a high voice and Lola having a low voice.
* VocalDissonance: His vocal range shows this.

Released at the same time and by the same company as Leon, Lola is the first female Vocaloid. She also runs under the initial Vocaloid engine.

Due to the obsolescence of the Vocaloid 1 engine, she was retired and pulled out of sales after December 31, 2013.

-----
* PinkGirlBlueBoy: Lola's boxart is pink, in contrast with Leon's pink boxart.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: With Leon having a high voice and Lola having a low voice.
* SheCleansUpNicely: Even if she does have a very deep voice, an astonishing number of gems show up [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKDA8Rm1N0A if]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cgW4VOZ5CE you]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaS5qwhlaaA look]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srEnBdnkUmA for]] [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYftk4HMfc4 them.]]

!!Miriam
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/miriam_7904.jpg]]

The third English Vocaloid and the first to reveal the provider of the voice bank. She is distributed by Zero-G, is voiced by Miriam Stockley, and is the last English Vocaloid to be released under the first engine.

Due to the obsolescence of the Vocaloid 1 engine, she is due to be retired and pulled out of sales after December 31, 2013.

-----
* OddCouple: Sound wise, she compliments Avanna surprisingly well.
* TemporaryOnlineContent: Despite LOLA, LEON, and MIRIAM all being removed from sale, it was still possible to buy a downloadable link until November 2015. MIRIAM was the only one of the three to have all her serial codes had been sold at that point, making it currently impossible to purchase her.

!!Prima
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/prima_831.jpg]]

The first [=Vocaloid2=]-engine Vocaloid by Zero-G and the fifth English Vocaloid, Prima is built almost entirely for opera songs. Thus, she sings with deep vowels and rolls her consonants.

-----
* ClassicallyTrainedExtra: One interpretation, seeing as she was designed to [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8X3sARqX00 sing opera]] and is usually used to sing...[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v2x8V6qFmg not Opera]].
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Based upon her photo boxart.
* IdiotHair: E-capsule Prima has a stray curl on the side of her head.
* MeaningfulName - From "prima donna," the lady in an opera company who generally got the leading roles.
* ShrinkingViolet: E-capsule Prima shyly glances sideways, while her chibi form shows her standing pigeon-toed, tight lipped and blushing.
* TechnicianVersusPerformer: Between her and Sweet ANN back in 2007. Both were released at the height of the Vocaloid craze, and are credited for people developing interest in oversea Vocaloids. While Sweet Ann was notable for sounding sharp and clear, while Prima was praised for sounding beautiful.
* UnusualEars: E-capsule Prima sports a pair of headphones with pointing speaker ears. No one is quite sure if they are Fox ears, Cat ears or Wolf ears. Though the most popular assumption is fox.
* VocalDissonance: Much like the popular teenager design spawned from the Japanese fandom, E-capsule Prima was designed to appear as a young female (18 in fact). In the Western fandom such portrayals are criticized as some believe it doesn't fit her voice.
* {{Yandere}}: She's portrayed as one by the Western fandom, mainly those who tried to pirate her and the software with a wrong cracking code, making it unusable; they interpreted it as Prima being yandere and taking everybody with her.

!!Sonika
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sonika_4632.jpg]]
The sixth English Vocaloid, Sonika is essentially Zero-G's attempt at [[FollowTheLeader imitating the Japanese Vocaloids]] by invoking {{Animesque}}. Thus, Sonika was advertised with height/age/weight measurements along with katakana on her arm, and was advertised as being able to "sing any language" (since she's not as restricted to phonetics as other voice banks), and is essentially Zero-G's mascot, even with a full-blown personality and Website/{{Twitter}} profile. This... backfired. She was criticized for having terrible pronunciation and being a badly-attempted sleight at marketing. Eventually, people warmed up to her, but she'll NeverLiveItDown.

She has two boxarts, the first being a CGI render and the second being done by an artist on Website/DeviantArt.

-----
* HotterAndSexier: Compare her current boxart (pictured above) to her [[http://vocaloid.wikia.com/wiki/File:Ofclboxart_zrog_Sonika1.jpg original]].
* IdiotHair: After Sonika's original box art included a loose strand of hair, several artists tend to exaggerate this (though still to a realistic degree). This was eventually exaggerated in her second boxart.
* KaleidoscopeHair: Her green hair is able to change color to red according to her Twitter messages.
* MasterOfNone: Though her voice is average at best and often [[TheUnintelligible unintelligible]], she's less restricted by phonetics and syllables than other Vocaloids, making it easier for her to sing in other languages.
* NonstandardCharacterDesign: Her initial design was a CGI render that looked like something out of an old video game, unlike other Vocaloids who typically had an animesque design. Her next design was in a more realistic art style, but still a clear departure from other Vocaloid designs. Averted with her E-capsule design, which stuck to a more animesque art style than her other deisgns in line with other Vocaloids.
* {{Omniglot}}: She can (theoretically) sing in any language and was advertised as having that ability, as she has a variety of phonetics that usually aren't included with English voicebanks. However, she's still mainly intended to be used in English, and how well she handles other languages can vary from listener to listener and user to user.
* SheCleansUpNicely: She doesn't have to be TheUnintelligible, so long as you know how to use her. So just [[http://youtu.be/Jit21iWXok8 carry on]].
%% * TheTrickster: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75p1k46L1l4 Yeah,]] it's there.

!!Tonio
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Vocaloid_Tonio_907.jpg]]

Tonio was released by Zero-G as the eighth English Vocaloid; while his initial release was delayed and people thought it would go to Big-Al status, Tonio was eventually released after a few months. He is meant to be an opera singer as a partner to Prima.

-----
* ClassicallyTrainedExtra: Like Prima, he is not used for opera. Some of his most famous songs are ''Lady Gaga covers''.

!!Avanna

[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Avanna_edit_7148.png]]

The first [=Vocaloid3=]-engine vocaloid by Zero-G. She is promoted as having a Celtic voice bank. She was first publicized through a demo (cover of Music/{{Enya}}'s ''Only Time'') which was played during this [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g57jdMSNFbc Vocaloid Producers Panel]]. Her second demo was a Rose Royce song, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne0hUu3_zxo "Wishing on a Star"]].

She was released 22nd of December 2012.

----
* {{Animesque}}: Unlike the other Zero-G vocaloids, her sole [[http://avanna-vocaloid.com official design]] closely follows the anime style of drawing, mainly as a result of [[ExecutiveMeddling Yamaha's insistence]] (the commissioned artist, [=AkiGlancy=], originally designed her to be a Western-style elf; this concept was rejected, but still appears as a sillouette on the boxart behind the official design).
* FighterMageThief: Given her original elf concept, she fits into the Mage role between her, Daina's, and Dex's fantasy designs.
* InnocentBlueEyes
* {{Irony}}: She wears a green dress, but also has a song called "Creative" about hating the color green [[WebVideo/DontHugMeImScared because it's not a creative color]].
* PointyEars: She was going to have this, but changed at the last moment -- which hasn't stopped fan artists from continuing to draw her with them.
* RavenHairIvorySkin: Like many Irish people.
* TaremeEyes
* {{Yandere}}: Implied in "Creative," where she plays the Notebook from ''WebVideo/DontHugMeImScared'', wanting the listener to think and feel the same way she does.
-->''Green is the color of jealousy\
But why be jealous when you have me?''
* YouthfulFreckles

!!Daina
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dai.png]]

Developed and distributed by Zero-G, she is the first female English Vocaloid for the [=Vocaloid4=] engine. She is modelled after a fox and derived from the Fox character of 'The Fox and The Hound'. She was released along with Dex in November 2015.

She is voiced by [=AkiGlancy=], an American Vocaloid producer.

-----
* CunningLikeAFox: Her main motif. A picture of a blue fox also appears on her headset in her official design. Her alternate thief design also plays into the "thieving fox" stereotype.
* FieryRedhead: Sometimes portrayed as this.
* FighterMageThief: Among the three fantasy designs for her, Avanna, and Dex, she fittingly takes the Thief role.
* LittleBitBeastly: Her original design had her with fox ears and tail.
* LoveableRogue: Her [[http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/vocaloid/images/4/49/Thief_daina.png thief]] design.
* {{Mascot}}: She and Dex serve as the headliners for the Engloid-themed concert Vocamerica.
* MeaningfulName: "Daina" is the Lithuanian and Latvian word for "song". There's another, unintentional meaning on [=AkiGlancy=]'s part: When coming up with the names for the duo, she wanted a whimsical-sounding name for Daina. Nostraightanswer pointed out that she shares the name with the very whimsical [[Literature/AlicesAdventuresInWonderland Alice Liddell]]'s cat, Dinah.
* WearingAFlagOnYourHead: Fittingly enough for an American vocaloid, Daina's main colors are a prominent red, white, and blue.

!!Dex

[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dex.png]]

Developed and distributed by Zero-G, he is the first English male Vocaloid for the [=Vocaloid4=] engine. He is modelled after a wolf and derived from the Hound character of 'The Fox and The Hound'. He was released along with Daina in November 2015.

He is voiced by Sam Blakeslee (aka. nostraightanswer), an American Vocaloid producer.

-----
* AmbiguouslyBrown: The first male Vocaloid with this skin type.
* FighterMageThief: Dex's hunter design is more combat oriented, placing him in the Fighter role among his, Avanna's, and Daina's fantasy designs.
* LittleBitBeastly: His original design had him with wolf ears and tail.
* {{Mascot}}: He and Daina are the main focus of the Engloid-themed concert Vocamerica.
* MythologyGag: Dex shares his wolf theme with the werewolf singer [[http://vocadb.net/Ar/9939 Baionoto Kenji]], an UTAU nostraightanswer also had a part in.
* NobleWolf: His main motif. A picture of a yellow wolf also appears on his headset in his official design. An alternate design shows him as a [[http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/vocaloid/images/4/48/Hunter_dex.png hunter]], fittingly enough of a wolf. "Get Wild", a song composed by his voice provider, takes the motif further by depicting Dex as a [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent werewolf]].
* OurWerewolvesAreDifferent: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9fSditAzqY "Get Wild"]], a duet between him and his voice provider, takes his wolf motif to its logical extreme by depicting him as a werewolf. Or his voice provider as a werewolf. Or both. It's not entirely clear. Either way, the depiction is visually traditional (large, humanoid wolf), but the song's lyrics imply that this depiction of werewolves is more self-aware than most, and notably framed as ''extremely'' protective of their friends.
* PapaWolf: Pun very much intended in "Get Wild", where Dex, as a werewolf, is depicted as ''extremely'' protective of those he cares about.
-->If someone spills your blood\
''Well, I'll tear them apart!''
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: Goes hand in hand with his alternate wolf boy design.
* WonderfulWerewolf: "Get Wild" depicts either Dex, his voice provider or both as a werewolf who's generally friendly... so long as you [[PapaWolf don't mess with his/their friends...]]
-->"There's worse fates out there\
Than making friends with a werewolf..."

The second female Spanish Vocaloid on the Vocaloid 3 engine, released on December 15 2013 as a download (her boxed version is yet to be released). Her character design was made by Noriko Hayashi, the winning result of a contest held by Voctro Labs. The voicebank itself was acutally part of a collaboration between Voctro Labs and the Spanish Pop Band Music/LaOrejaDeVanGogh, where the Vocaloid was used by the band to listen to their own written lyrics before recording their songs. Supposedly the voicebank was based on the band's current lead singer, Leire Martinez, though this has yet to be confirmed.

----
* PrincessCurls: Rare variant - her straight hair curls at the tips
* RobotBuddy: Nova, the little orb that follows her around.
* ShipTease: Surprisingly, she gets this with Yohioloid, by virtue of their character designers liking to pair them up.

!!ONA
Voctro Labs' fourth mascot, made in collaboration with The Lab Barcelona and La Merced (ICUB). She interestingly shares the same voicebank as MAIKA, making her a LiteralSplitPersonality for their shared data. She is meant to represent the Catalan capabilities of the voicebank. Unlike MAIKA, she is not intended for public use, instead being used for concerts and events.

----
* {{Foil}}: To MAIKA. On the whole, MAIKA seems to be more geared toward the public image of Vocaloids, being an {{Animesque}} young singer with a futuristic design and bright colors to match, while ONA is more geared towards professional usage and has a more contemporary design fit for the 21st century. And while both are [[VirtualCelebrity Virtual Celebrities]], MAIKA is meant to be used on computers, while ONA is meant to be used on a live stage or in the public.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: Of MAIKA's voicebank.
* MeaningfulName: Ona means "wave" in Catalan, and her design motif has waves in it.
* PrimaryColorChampion: Her shirt has bits of red, yellow, and blue in it, and she's represented by a red, blue and yellow logo.

A leaked early demo can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-CZt_epQQA here]], which was praised for its humanlike realism. It should be noted, though, that Kim Tahi also sings in the background for said demo. Her first official demo, [[http://youtu.be/U4EqmD35udw 'RUN']], was released 22 September 2011; and was brought her back to the forefront in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ceDikUov34 "Never Let You Go"]] .

-----
* CatGirl: No tail in evidence, but her costume includes a pair of [[AnimalEaredHeadband cat-ear-shaped speakers]] mounted on her head, and her standard facial expression is a CatSmile.
* ExoticEyeDesigns: Star-shaped light reflections in her irises.
* HartmanHips: She certainly has a curvy pair of hips on her.
* HollywoodThin: While her design looks like she's at a healthy weight and she sports some [[HartmanHips curvaceous hips]], her canonical weight is roughly 98 pounds[[note]]44.5 kg[[/note]], which is about 10 pounds below the ideal weight for her frame and height[[note]]canonically 159 cm, or 5'2[[/note]].
* RuleSixtyThree: She has an [[https://vocaeuro.wordpress.com/2015/08/11/official-seeu-genderbend-zeeu-unveiled/ official genderbend]] named [=ZeeU=]. She also has the fanmade "[=SeeWoo=]", but like all fan genderbends his looks are not concrete.

The second Korean Vocaloid, and the first and only voicebank made for the V4 line. Uni's release date has been changed many times, the latest being September of 2016. Her official release finally came on February 14, 2017, although it was a bare bones version; her Power and Soft Appends became available to the public later in the summer of 2017, with an English bank currently in development.
----
* MeaningfulName: Her name's a reference to her concept as a "Universal Vocaloid". Also doubles as StellarThemeNaming, as her design incorporates several stars into her outfir.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Just take a look at all that pink.
