The son of Series/UltraSeven. An exceptionally powerful young Ultra, he was banished from the Land of Light after attempting to steal the planet's power source, the Plasma Spark. After years of training under Series/UltramanLeo, he eventually returned and proved himself a worthy hero in ''Film/MegaMonsterBattleUltraGalaxyLegends''. Afterwards, he would begin trekking the multiverse, pursuing after all sorts of powerful villains, clashing with Belial time and time again. He has since become one of the most important Ultras in the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', frequently crossing over into other series, most notably ''Series/UltramanGeed'', where he is one of the main characters. He has no single human host, but always uses the Ultra Zero Eye to transform.
----
* TheAce: Zero is practically an ideal Ultra, being strong, powerful, having many friends, has defeated countless evils throughout the years and in various universes and on top of that has managed to save the Multiverse several times over. Though this does [[BookDumb not]] apply to his academic skills, however.
* AnatomyArsenal: Like his father before him, Zero has multitude of weaponized body parts to employ:
** First, the iconic Eye Slugger, only that Zero has ''two'' instead of one and he can control both to not only employ as ranged weapons but also combine them into a sword.
** His forehead has his own version of the Emerium Beam just like his father's.
** He can also use the Wide Shot with his arms in an L-pose.
** His kicks can be set on fire to increase in striking power (thanks to training from Ultraman Leo).
* AndIMustScream: When Belial takes over his body in ''Ultra Zero Fight'', Zero can only helplessly watch as Belial wrecks havoc and kill his teammates with his body. He manages to free himself from this through HeroicWillpower and his Shining Ultraman Zero transformation.
* ArchEnemy: To Ultraman Belial. Ever since Zero defeated the evil Ultra in ''Ultra Galaxy Legends'', the two have been rather fierce foes and Belial will often target Zero in plots of revenge or even in plots that didn't involve Zero once the latter gets involved.
* BattleBoomerang: His Twin Sluggers serve as this, as he can throw them to fight opponents form a distance and then they return to him. He can do a variety of tricks with their paths as well, and they can also be deflected, but even then they'll always go back to him.
* BerserkButton: Has a few.
** He does not like seeing bullies or powerful people tormenting others with their strength instead of protecting them.
** Anyone who treats their "friends" as trash or holds standards for who they can consider that also earn his ire.
** He does not like being called "foolish".
* BifurcatedWeapon: A variation. His Zero Twin Sluggers can combine into a large blade.
* BigBrotherMentor: Takes this role towards other younger Ultras, particularly most of the New Generation Heroes who all look up to him as a big brother thanks to his mentorship, help and advice to them.
* BoisterousBruiser: Wastes no time in telling his opponents that he's a strong and powerful warrior before or during fights.
* BookDumb: Zero isn't really "dumb" in the classic definition, but he's got a bad case of preferring to do things in the heat of the moment instead of thinking them through much. ''Series/UltramanZ'' voice dramas would even reveal that he skipped the Land of Light's school, causing him to not know basic information such as Neronga's invisibility and causing his student, Ultraman Z, to flunk out on an exam because of Zero's lack of knowledge on topics.
* CallingYourAttacks: Has a habit of doing so in ''Ultra Zero Fight''. It would be carried on to future appearances and is now a staple of his character.
* {{Catchphrase}}: You're 20,000 {{years too early}} to defeat me!
* CharacterDevelopment: Zero starts out as a cocky and rebellious Ultra who only understands physical strength and nothing else. After his years of training under Ultraman Leo he grows kinder and eventually wiser throughout his following adventures in the franchise. By the time of ''Series/UltramanZ'' he's left most of his older flaws behind and shows far more skill in leadership and understanding what is it like to be an Ultraman.
* CharacterTics: He tends to wipe his mouth with his thumb before a fight.
* ChestBlaster: His Zero Twin Shoot attack, which fires a large beam from the Twin Sluggers when they are mounted on his chest. He can shoot a stronger version as Zero Beyond.
* ContainmentClothing: The Techtor Gear was a suit that he wore during his exile, which limited his strength and outright nullified his other Ultraman powers, including flight.
* CoolBigBro: Tends to act as this for his teammates and younger Ultras that he assists, with many of them looking up to him and admiring his many deeds.
* CriticalAnnoyance: After adopting a human host, he's had to contend with the three-minute rule all Ultras had to face with his color timer blinking whenever his time is running out.
* CurbstompBattle:
** In his debut, he dishes one of these to Belial and his army, disarming him with ease and then blasting him into the magma rivers of the Monster Graveyard right after plowing through the remnants of his 100 Monster Army in minutes.
** ''Revenge of Belial'' shows him easily defeating Belial's Legionoids whenever he confronts them, he also shoots down the Spaceship carrying Darklopses with ease.
** In ''Film/UltramanSaga'' he deals with a whole army of Legionoids very quickly at the start of the film.
** Before facing the Four Beast Warriors of Hell in ''Series/UltraZeroFight'', Zero has to fight four lower-tier monsters, also revived by Alien Bat Gurashie - Bemular, Gudon, Sadola and Telesdon. Zero wrecks all four of them in under a minute.
* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: The Shining Star Drive from Shining Zero allows him to reverse time and even create pocket dimensions, but it cost him a lot of energy, which can tire him out for days.
* DemonicPossession: Suffers this in ''Ultra Zero Fight'' when Belial {{Body Surf}}s into Zero's body after the latter defeats him as Armored Darkness Belial, trapping Zero within his own body and changing Zero's appearance to match his own. Zero manages to use his Shining form to kick out Belial's spirit.
* DimensionalTraveler: Though at first he could only move between worlds with assistance from other Ultras, after obtaining his Ultimate Aegis, Zero is capable of travelling to other worlds freely.
** He travels to the Reverse Space World in ''Revenge of Belial'' and returns back to the World of the Land of Light once he defeats Belial in there.
** In ''Ultraman Saga'' he travels to the universe where the film takes place to combat Hyper Zetton, meeting Ultraman Cosmos and Dyna along the way before returning to his own universe after Hyper Zetton is defeated.
** In ''Ultraman Ginga S: The Movie'' he travels to the World of Spark Dolls to confront Etelgar and rescue the captured Ultras.
** ''Ultraman X'' has him arriving at the World of Ultra Flare to capture Alien Nackle Bandero and his Black King, in the movie he returns in order to help fight the threat of Zaigorg and his minions.
** In ''Ultraman Geed'' he and other Ultras arrived at the World of Side Space where Belial's Crisis Impact and Omega Armageddon took place, after King saved the Universe by merging with it Zero returned to deal with the various threats in it, bonding with human salaryman Reito Igaguri. He left the world once Belial was defeated for good. He returns much later with the Ultimate Force Zero in order to confront the threat of Gillvalis.
** ''Ultraman Taiga'' has him travel to the World of Taiga to assist his cousin by giving the Plasma Zero-let to fight stronger foes before leaving back to the Land of Light.
** ''Ultraman Z'' features him and the titular Ultra chasing the Kaiju Genegarg to the World of Ultra Medals where he ends up temporarily trapped into a black hole, after breaking free and then helping Z and Geed defeat Celebro's Belial Fusion Beasts he leaves for good to resume fighting the threat of the Absolutians.
** ''Absolute Conspiracy'' has him travelling to the World of [=U40=] in order to recruit Ultraman Joneus into the M78 Ultra's cause against Absolute Tartarus.
* DimensionLord: As Shining Ultraman Zero one of his powers is to create pocket dimensions in which he can alter the flow of time to either go slower or faster than outside, which can help him when he needs to train someone for months in what would otherwise be a few hours or days.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: We first see him as a stubborn short-tempered youth who only believes in physical strength getting some humility beaten into him by Leo. Yet, during his spar, when he notices an innocent Pigmon lingering nearby, he gruffly warns it to stay away. Though he's still rough around the edges, this shows us that deep down, he does have a good heart.
* GenerationXerox: In ''Ultraman Geed'' he ends up in a similar position to the one his father, Ultraseven, was stuck in himself in ''Series/UltramanLeo'' as his TransformationTrinket ends up damaged, leaving him weaker than he would usually be and forced to take on a mentor role towards a young Ultra. Unlike his father, however, he could at least still transform into his Ultra form during that time.
* GoldColoredSuperiority: His most powerful forms all have a golden glow to them. Shining Ultimate Zero can manipulate time, Zero Beyond Galaxy Glitter takes the capacities of the Beyond form up a notch and Ultimate Shining Zero combines the abilities of Ultimate Zero and Shining Zero, though it's also a DangerousForbiddenTechnique.
* GoodCounterpart: To Belial, both were heroic Ultras who grew ambitious and uncaring and very nearly stole the Plasma Spark to empower themselves and were banished from the Land of Light for it. However, eventually Zero was able to learn better and redeemed himself from his actions. Also while Belial surrounds himself with minions but sees them as disposable pawns at best, Zero surrounds himself with many friends he's made through the years and will give his life for them.
* GuardianOfTheMultiverse: After the events of ''Revenge of Belial'' Zero took on this role following the creation of the Ultimate Force Zero, as he and his teammates patrol the Multiverse looking out for threats to it. This in turn usually leads him to be a guest star in various of the New Generation shows, usually following a criminal from a different universe into the one where the New Gen show takes place in.
* FinishingMove: Has a bunch depending on the form.
** In his base form he has the Wide Zero Shot, a beam fired form his chest with his Eye Sluggers empowering it.
** As Ultimate Zero he can use Ultimate Zero Finale, a charged attack fired with the Ultimate Aegis in a bow-like fashion.
** As Shining Ultimate Zero he instead gets a stronger version of his Wide Zero Shot.
** As Zero Beyond he also gets a stronger version of his Zero Shot named Beyond Zero Shot.
* ForcedToWatch: Zero's mind is still there when Belial forcibly fuses with him into Zero Darkness, but he's powerless to prevent his teammates from being killed and descends into the DespairEventHorizon once all of them are killed.
* FormerTeenRebel: When he was younger, Zero had a rebellious un-lawful streak and preferred to get stronger through simple fighting rather than learning any values of it. It culminated in him trying to take the Plasma Spark in a misguided attempt to become stronger, only to be stopped and arrested by the Ultra Brothers and then sent to be disciplined by Ultraman Leo for years through TrainingFromHell which ended up helping shape him into a more responsible figure in spite of retaining some rebellious attitudes.
* FusionDance:
** In ''Ultraman Saga'', Zero fuses with Dyna and Cosmos in order to form Ultraman Saga, as means of being able to stop Hyper Zetton.
** ''Ultraman Geed'' sees him using the New Generation Capsules of [[Series/UltramanGinga Ginga, Victory]], Series/UltramanX and Series/UltramanOrb to become Zero Beyond.
** ''Ultraman Z'' has a form shown only in supplementary material where he uses the Ultra Medals of Series/{{Ultraman}}, Series/{{Ultraseven}} and Series/UltramanAce to become Gransaberd Zero.
* HealingHands: Zero can employ his Ultraman light to purify other living beings of evil influence and energies, such as freeing Mirror Knight from Belial's dark plague.
* HenshinHero: Per tradition for Ultras, Zero is this, he usually transforms with the help of human hosts that he meets in his adventures, with his definite host seemingly being [[Series/UltramanGeed Reito Igaguri]]. A few stage shows depict him instead taking on a human form to walk around, known as Shin Moroboshi.
* HeroicSacrifice: Has had a few throughout the years.
** In ''Revenge of Belial'' he keeps up Mirror Knight's shield to block Arch Belial's Deathcium Beam and very nearly dies when his Color Timer runs out, he's luckily resurrected by Ultraman Noa and given power to transform into Ultimate Zero.
** In ''Geed'' he sacrifices himself in the aptly-titled episode 7, "Sacrifice", to protect Reito Igaguri from Kei. He gets better as well.
* HeroicWillpower: When Belial possesses him and kills almost all of his teammates, Zero's will eventually lets him expulse the spirit of his nemesis from his body and achieve his Shining Ultraman Zero form.
* HotBlooded: Even after CharacterDevelopment, Zero remains a hot-headed Ultra who rushes into battle with all due excitement and is not above trash-talking, quiping and [[CallingYourAttacks calling his attacks]].
* IdiotHero: Befitting his Shonen hero-like traits, Zero isn't exactly the most throughtful person ever and often tends to suffer some blunders as a result of his recklessness
* ImposedHandicapTraining: Zero was trained by Leo this way, placing a restrictive suit on him while sparring in order to help develop his skills and strength without relying on his powers while simultaneously learning life lessons from his mentor.
* InUniverseFactoidFailure: Aside from the implication that he didn't attend school, Zero seems to lack knowledges on certain monsters such as Neronga and misinterpreted Sevenger's owner being Leo instead of his crippled (at the time) father. The latter came to bite him when Z failed the entrance exam for Space Garrison because of it.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: His first use of Shining Star Drive left him not only exhausted, but unable to remember the events up until that point.
* LetsGetDangerous: His usual {{Character Tic|s}} is a firm indication that Zero's about to stop playing around and is instead going to take the next fight very seriously.
* LightIsGood: In contrast to his dark archnemesis, Belial, Zero continues the Ultraman's usual theme of representing light and the side of good. All of his most powerful transformations take the light aspect up a notch.
* LightningBruiser: Like all Ultras, Zero is both fast enough to mow down armies of monsters without breaking a sweat and becomes even faster when flying, and strong enough to handle and outmuscle even mighty foes such as Red King.
* LovedByAll: All the New Generation Ultra Heroes look up to him. Most notable are [[Series/UltramanGinga Ginga, Victory]], [[Series/UltramanX X]], [[Series/UltramanOrb Orb]], [[Series/UltramanGeed Geed]], [[Series/UltramanRB Ultrawoman Grigio]] and [[Series/UltramanTaiga The Tri-Squad]]. He even gets a fanboy desiring to be his apprentice in Series/UltramanZ.
* MagneticHero: Zero in general is a friend magnet, starting with his rival-turned-friend, [=GlenFire=], then with the other members of the Ultimate Force Zero. Later he becomes friends with Ultraman Dyna and Cosmos, the New Generation Ultras and various other characters such as his third human host, Reito Igaguri and Reito's family.
* MentorOccupationalHazard: A non-fatal example in ''Ultraman Z'', he gets sucked inside a black hole at the hands of a Bullton fired at him by Genegarg while he's chasing the latter monster and ends up forced to entrust Ultraman Z with the Ultra Medals and his Z-Riser. He eventually frees himself from this fate by using [[ResetButton Shining Star Drive]] and comes back in the series to assist his pupil against Celebro's Belial Fusion Beasts.
* MultiformBalance: In the ''Ultra Zero Fight'' segment of ''Ultraman Retsuden'', he gains this ability thanks to [[Series/UltramanDyna Dyna's]] and [[Series/UltramanCosmos Cosmos']] powers which he gained after their fusion into Ultraman Saga. In addition to his pre-existing power-ups and then some
** MightyGlacier: Strong Corona, a combined power of Cosmos' Corona Mode and Dyna's Strong Type. With [[PlayingWithFire fiery power]] from Cosmos Corona Mode and [[SuperStrength powerful attacks]] from Dyna Strong Type, it specializes in exerting great force in hand-to-hand combat.
** FragileSpeedster: Luna Miracle, a combined power of Cosmos' Luna Mode and Dyna's Miracle Type. With a [[SquishyWizard soft heart and energy abilities]] from Ultraman Cosmos Luna Mode and [[SuperSpeed speed]] from Ultraman Dyna Miracle Type, it exists for energy attacks, high speed battles and ending conflicts with no bloodshed.
** SuperMode: Ultimate Zero, which he gained in ''Revenge of Belial'' with the power of the Shield of Baradhi; in ''Series/UltramanGeed'' he gains Ultraman Zero Beyond as replacement for most of his lost transformations, which he achieves with the New Generation Capsules (using the power of [[Series/UltramanGinga Ginga, Victory]], [[Series/UltramanX X]] and [[Series/UltramanOrb Orb]]) and combining them with his Ultra Zero Eye.
* MissingMom: The identity of his mother is so far unknown with even supplementary materials having no mention of who she is.
* MyHeroZero: He's called Ultraman Zero and is one of the most powerful Ultra warriors of all time.
* NextTierPowerUp: Zero is probably the Ultraman that plays the trope the straightest out of them all, his base form is weaker than his Ultimate Zero form and then this form is surpassed by both Shining Ultraman Zero and Zero Beyond, which in turn are small potatoes next to Ultimate Shining Zero and Zero Beyond Galaxy Glitter, respectively.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Using [[ResetButton Shining Star Drive]] allows him to bring back his deceased teammates after Zero Darkness (him while possessed by Belial) killed them but [[spoiler:he unwittingly resurrected Belial and Jahtar while at it.]]
* OneManArmy:
** In ''Ultra Galaxy Legends'' Zero brings down all of the remaining members of Belial's 100 Monster Army that his fellow Ultras hadn't killed yet and then takes down Belial, a OneManArmy himself.
** In ''Ultraman Saga'' Zero plows through a massive army of Legionoids all by himself.
* TheParagonAlwaysRebels: He was a powerful and impressive Ultraman since childhood, but this fed his ego and belief in strength and he arrogantly tried to take the Plasma Spark to empower himself, only to be stopped by the Ultra Brothers, arrested and then exiled. However following some TrainingFromHell courtesy of Ultraman Leo he was able to redeem himself and turned back to the light.
* PlayingWithFire: Has shown a limited usage of fire to boost his attacks, not unlike his mentor, Leo. Also his Garnet Buster in Strong Corona mode is a beam of fire.
* PreAssKickingOneLiner: Either "[[YearsTooEarly You're 20,000 years too early to defeat me]]" or "[[ThisIsUnforgivable I won't forgive what you've done]]" precede him giving a beatdown. In his first appearance it was instead "[[IAmXSonOfY Zero, Ultraman Zero. The son of Seven!]]" which he said to Belial before mowing down the remnants of his 100 Monster Army and then Belial himself.
* PowerLimiter: The Techtor Gear he was forced to wear during his TrainingFromHell at Ultraman Leo's hands served this purpose, restraining most of Zero's power to prevent the young Ultra from trying to rely on his powers and instead fight hand-to-hand. If Zero tries to exert power, the armor tightens further and further, limiting him even more.
* RapidFireFisticuffs: His speed allows him to throw punches faster than opponents can react to them, allowing him to overwhelm foes with sheer speed.
* RedIsHeroic: Like all Ultras from the red tribe, he's got red in his color scheme and he's a valiant hero of justice, despite starting out as an immature power-hungry warrior.
* ResetButton: Shining Star Drive can do this, as it reverses time and Zero can use it to undo certain events that he desires, such as death or even to nullify a black hole and escape it.
* SecretLegacy: For most of his youth up until the events of ''Ultra Galaxy Legends'', he had no idea that he was the son of Ultraseven, and by extension a family member of Ultraman Taro, Father of Ultra and Mother of Ultra. Ultraman King reveals this to him when Seven calls for Zero's help during his fight in the Monster Graveyard.
* SchoolIsForLosers: In his rebellious youth and even after, he tends to view school in a negative light and never finished resuming his studies, even after his redemption and return to the Land of Light following his exile. This ended up biting him in the butt as shown in ''Ultraman Z'' voice dramas where the titular Z ended up flunking an exam because Zero gave him some uninformed academic help.
* ShutUpHannibal: In ''Ultra Zero Fight'' after Alien Hipporito Jathar manages to get the drop on Zero and petrify Zero's right arm into bronze, the alien began gloating on his superiority and how much more powerful he is than the Ultraman. Zero interrupts Jathar by [[MegatonPunch shoving a bronze fist]] into the alien's face.
* SoLastSeason: His techniques or forms gained in an installment tend to be rendered useless or not quite as effective in a following one.
** In ''Revenge of Belial'' his Sluggers, firey kick and Wide Zero Shot fail to defeat Belial and Zero even loses the BeamOWar with his finishing move and Belial's Deathcium Burst. Belial even [[LampshadeHanging lampshades it]].
** In ''Ginga S: The Movie'' his Final Ultimate Zero is shrugged off by Etelgar, who comes out unscathed from it.
** He is beaten again by Belial but this time in his Ultimate Zero Form during the Crisis Impact before the events of ''Geed''.
* SpinOffspring: Zero is the son of the iconic Series/{{Ultraseven}} and the main character of his own sub-franchise of movies and series depicting his many adventures.
* StockShonenHero: The most pronounced of the Ultras in regards to this, Zero's hot-blooded, somewhat lacking in the intelligence department due to skipping school (though he isn't exactly dumb so much as lazy), has had many rivals that became his friends (such as [=GlenFire=]), befriended some foes (Jean-Killer), and also had CharacterDevelopment allowing him to mature. He also enjoys [[CallingYourAttacks naming his attacks]] as he fights.
* SuperiorSuccessor: As powerful as his father is, Zero proved himself stronger and eventually surpasses his old man in terms of heroism and actions, saving the entire Multiverse from various threats. Furthermore, his debut movie has him defeat Ultraman Belial alone when everyone else who fought him could not. And he has two Eye Sluggers instead of one like Seven.
* SuperEmpowering: He used to be on the receiving end of the trope. But starting with the New Generation shows, he instead is now the provider with him giving new abilities and artifacts to the New Generation Ultramen to use or even copies of his own weapons and forms.
* SuperMode: Ultimate Zero in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial'', Shining Ultraman Zero in ''Ultra Zero Fight'', and Ultraman Zero Beyond in ''Series/UltramanGeed''. In ''Series/UltraGalaxyFightTheAbsoluteConspiracy'' he combines the first two as [[BreadEggsBreadedEggs Ultimate Shining Ultraman Zero]].
* SuperPowerLottery: Zero has quite the amount of abilities, with his repertoir expanding with each new form.
** In his base form he can fly, produce fire on his limbs for attacks, move faster than eyesight and sound, use his Eye Sluggers as projectiles separately, use a multitude of beams from either his forehead, chest or arms, use his light to purify evil from other people and on top of that can empower others or possess them.
** As Ultimate Zero he retains all previous abilities but can open dimensional portals, slice planets with one strike, charge light projectiles that can obliterate almost anything, employ a sword-like hand attack, create shields, and intrude in waves to communicate with people even between dimensions.
** As Shining Zero he can stop time, reverse it, create pocket dimensions where time flows slower, evaporate spirits and even escape from black holes.
** As Zero Beyond his abilities are amplified and gains new ones such as the Balkley Chorus, which uses his Sluggers to produce soundwaves strong enough to blast opponents apart, can modify it to simply produce loud noises that harmlessly move beings around, can also produce forcefields to trap opponents in and even combines his Balkley Chorus and Sluggers in one overwhelming attack.
* SuperStrength: Naturally as an Ultra this ability is one of his common ones, he has enough strength to lift heavier beings than himself with ease and toss them into the air. Even when he's only 5 meters tall and far weaker as a result of a botched attempt at trying to cooperate with his then human host, Nozomu Taiga at transforming, he's still able to lift the 30,000 ton Gomess in ''Ultraman Saga''.
* SymbioticPossession: Like most other Ultras, Zero does this with humans that he views as being brave and selfless. Though he has done this a total of three times throughout the franchise so far.
* TalkingYourWayOut: In ''Revenge of Belial'' during his first encounter with [=GlenFire=] Zero has no interest in fighting the fire warrior due to seeking out the Shield of Baradhi, but [=GlenFire=] won't listen to a "wimp" and challenges Zero to a fight, which Zero only reluctantly complies to. After taking a beating from [=GlenFire=], Zero decides he's had enough and completely foregoes this option.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: He often says a variation of this to Belial when he's reached his RageBreakingPoint with the actions of the evil Ultra.
-> ''"I won't forgive what you've done!"''
* TimeMaster: [[GoldenSuperMode Shining Ultraman Zero]] has the ability to [[ResetButton rewind time for everything in the local vicinity]] or form pocket dimensions [[YearInsideHourOutside where time moves faster than normal]].
* TrainingFromHell: After his failed attempt at taking the Plasma Spark, he was put under the mentorship of Ultraman Leo, being subjected to harsh training with a power-restraining armor to teach him discipline and true strength. He himself had his chance of putting Ginga and Victory through this in ''Ginga S: The Movie'' inside of a pocket dimension he made as Shining Ultimate Zero.
* TransformationTrinket: Like his father before him, his own device takes the form of glasses called the Ultra Zero Eye. His hosts transform with them by placing them on their face.
* {{Tsundere}}: Towards Ultraman Z, his self-proclaimed pupil, Zero will not usually acknowledge or even treat him as his student but shows that he does care about the younger Ultra and deep down does want to somewhat mentor the Ultra, even getting jealous when Mebius jokingly offers to take Z under his tutelage when the former sees Zero reject Z.
* TsurimeEyes: He has noticeably sharp, angular eyes compared to most Ultras, which reflect his hot-blooded personality and cocky, confident attitude. On a darker note, his eyes also makes him look menacing and almost evil, fitting how he would've become a second Belial if not for Seven and Leo's intervention.
* TheWorfBarrage: In ''Ginga S: The Movie'', his Ultimate Aegis' final attack is shrugged off by Etelgar, with the demoniac villain merely losing his scarf but otherwise coming out unscathed from it.
* TheWorfEffect: Often is subjected to this.
** In ''Ultra Galaxy Legends'' he is overwhelmed (along with his fellow Ultras and ZAP Spacy) by Belyudra and requires a boost from the Plasma Spark to finish off the colossal kaiju fusion.
** He is soundly overwhelmed by both Kaiser Belial and Arch Belial in ''Revenge of Belial'', and in fact is nearly killed by the latter draining his life-force.
** ''Ultraman Saga'' has him getting defeated by Imago Hyper Zetton and nearly killed many times over by the Zetton mutant's power.
** ''Ultraman Geed'' has the resurrected Belial defeat him even in his Ultimate Zero form, which also damages his Zero Bracelet and leaves him severely weakened for the remainder of the series until Hikari fixes his device.
* WorfHadTheFlu: For most of ''Ultraman Geed'' he has a less impressive showing than usual, mainly owed to him being severely weakened after his loss against Belial in the Crisis Impact that left his Zero Bracelet heavily damaged.
* YearsTooEarly: His catchphrase has him telling his opponents that they're ''20,000'' years off the mark to fight/defeat him.

[[folder:Ultimate Force Zero]]
Ultraman Zero's friends and members of his multiverse-protecting superhero crew. He first encountered them in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial'' while travelling through an alternate universe in search of the fallen Ultraman, who had fled to that dimension to make it his own to rule. They tend to reappear alongside Zero from time to time.
! As a whole:
* BadassCrew: Two alien warriors and a transforming robot from an alternate universe, as well as said robot's "younger brother" (originally an EvilKnockoff of it), being led by one of the strongest Ultra warriors in franchise history to travel across the multiverse and battle its most dangerous threats.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble:
** Sanguine — Ultraman Zero, an undisciplined, extraverted and adventurous Ultra who serves as the protagonist and leader of the force. Has SuperpowerLottery to match his creativity and outward adventure instinct.
** Choleric — [=GlenFire=], a short-tempered, cocky, trash-talking [[{{Pun}} hothead]] not afraid to charge into battle and bring harm to his foes with fire and destructive powers to match his energy.
** Melancholic — Jean-Bot, a reserved, disciplined and level-headed warrior who at times finds himself exasperated by the antics of his teammates, his attacks are based on calculated strikes and waiting for the right chance to fight befitting his calmer demeanor.
** Phlegmatic — Mirror Knight, a calm, quiet and orderly young warrior who carries a level of mystery to himself and has defensive and reflective powers to match his personality.
* GuardianOfTheMultiverse: As whole their group protects the Multiverse from evil aliens, monsters and other oddities that threaten it.

A warrior from the Planet of Mirrors (a giant cosmic mirror that contains a whole world in it) long tasked with defending the allied world of Esmeralda. He was captured and enslaved by Belial when the dark Ultra warrior invaded his universe and looted Esmeralda but after Zero and his allies freed him, he has become a steadfast ally of the Ultraman.
----
* AttackReflector: A great deal of his abilities work this way. He can also use them to reflect his own attacks
* BarrierWarrior: His Mirror Dome allows him to create reflective force fields around his targets. They're strong enough to hold back things such as Belial's Mothership, Arch Belial's Deathcium Beam and almost anything.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Is partially brought under Belial's control after being defeated by him. Only the leaders of the Planet of Mirrors sealing him under their world's ocean kept him from turning wholly evil. Thankfully, Zero purifies him.
* FinishingMove: His is the Silver Cross, a giant cross-shaped bolt of light.
* HandBlast: Can perform numerous of these.
* {{Homage}}: Based on a previous hero created by Creator/TsuburayaProductions called Series/{{Mirrorman}}.
* LightIsGood
* MasterOfIllusion: Can create illusory reflections to throw off his foes and gain an advantage in battle or protect his teammates.
* NonHumanHumanoidHybrid: His father was a denizen of the Planet of Mirrors and his mother was from the planet Esmeralda.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: When he was under Belial's control.
* YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: The side stories reveal that Mirror Knight somewhat struggles with self-esteem. He blames himself for being unable to save Zero from Belial's possession; unlike how Zero managed to successfully do the same for him when he was under Belial's forced control.

!! Jean-Bot
!!! Voiced by: Creator/HiroshiKamiya
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jean_bot.png]]

A sentient robot able to transform into a spaceship known as the Jean-Bird. He served as the personal transport of the royal family of the planet Esmeralda, but when Belial devastated the planet, he was taksed with bringing the princess Emerana to safety, which led to him joining forces with Zero to fight Belial and later protect the whole multiverse as he does these days.
----
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Jean-Bot has a secret compartment hiding an axe, which he can use to get himself out of a troublesome situation and strike unprepared enemies.
* ByThePowerOfGreyskull: Variant. A pilot can access Jean-Bot's controls to manipulate his movement by shouting "Jean Fight!", as Nao does during the climax.
* EmbarrassingNickname: Glen Fire likes to call him "Yakitori" (Japanese fried chicken), much to his annoyance.
* FinishingMove: His is the Emerald Beam, a green laser fired from his forehead.
* {{Homage}}: Based on a previous hero created by Creator/TsuburayaProductions called Series/JumborgAce, who was also a giant robot.
* HumongousMecha: The ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' has featured plenty of giant robots before, but Jean-Bot is the first one to be a genuine Ultraman-style hero.
* RocketPunch: His Jean-Knuckle, fired from his left fist.
* SapientShip: In his Jean-Bird form, he still can converse with anyone inside the ship.
* TransformingMecha: Can transform into a spaceship called the Jean-Bird.

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/glenfire.png]]

A fiery (both literally and figuratively) alien who originally worked with a gang of space pirates that Zero and his allies encountered while traversing the universe in search of a way to defeat Ultraman Belial. He initially saw Zero as a rival, but after joining forces with him to fight Belial, he became a member of the Ultimate Force Zero.
----
* ActionBomb: His Fire Dynamite, which is essentially just Series/UltramanTaro's Ultra Dynamite.
* BruiserWithASoftCenter: Though he's loud and brash, he has a good heart that goes above and beyond to protect his friends and those weaker than him.
** In chapter 2 of the Ultimate Force Zero Side Story, he becomes a bodyguard for an injured sentient snowball named Wraith. The two quickly develop a brotherly bond during their journey, with Wraith fondly calling Glen 'aniki' (big brother).
* DefeatEqualsFriendship: Initially acted as a cocky rival of Zero when they first met, but became his friend once Zero was able to match and even overpower him in a fight, before joining Zero's group.
* ElementalWeapon: He can make a lance of flame called the Fire Stick that is also able to shot out bolts of fire.
* FinishingMove: His is the Glen Spark, a giant orb of flame that incinerates foes caught in it.
* IncendiaryExponent: He can cover his body in fire and perform a ''kamikaze'' attack, afterwards he regenerates albeit tired.
* {{Homage}}: Based on a previous hero created by Creator/TsuburayaProductions called Series/{{Fireman}}.
* HotBlooded: Literally and figuratively. Likewise, he's the member of the Ultimate Force Zero that tends to clash the most with the others, especially Zero, due to his recklessness and excitement.
* LargeHam: Quiet and subtlety is ''not'' in his dictionary.
* TheNicknamer: Calls Jean-Bot 'yakitori' (grilled chicken) and sometimes struggles to remember other people's names the first time.
* PlayingWithFire: All of his abilities use fire in some form, from his punches, kicks and ranged attacks.
* PersonalityPowers: He's hotheaded, passionate and always ready to throw down in a fight; his personality matches his fire powers to a T.
* RedIsHeroic: His body is primarily red and he's a protector of the multiverse.
* SpacePirates: He used to be one, hanging out with the Flame Pirates of the Nitromethane Sea (actually a nebula) as their champion, before joining forces with Zero.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Is fond of using the piledriver wrestling move.

! Jean-Killer / Jean-Nine
!!!Voiced by: Creator/MiyuIrino
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jean_killer.png]]

The last introduced member of the Ultimate Force Zero, having debuted in ''Killer the Beatstar''. Jean-Nine was born as Jean-Killer, created by the evil supercomputer Beatstar from the data of Jean-Bot for the purpose of destroying him. After Beatstar was destroyed, Jean-Killer was freed from his programming and rechristened Jean-Nine, younger brother of Jean-Bot and newest member of Ultraman Zero's team.
----
* ArmCannon: Possess two on both of his arms.
* ChestBlaster: Can fire HomingLasers from his chest.
* EnemyScan: Jean-Killer performs one for Zero, Mirror Knight, and Glen Fire respectively upon first encountering them.
* EvilKnockoff: Jean-Bot explains that Jean-Nine was created in his image using some of his own A.I.
* EyeBeams: Can fire out red lasers from his eyes.
* HeelFaceTurn: He was originally constructed for the purpose of destroying Jean-Bot by Beatstar, but after learning the power of free will, he joined the Ultimate Force Zero and was given the new name of Jean-Nine.
* {{Homage}}: Based on a secondary hero in ''Series/JumborgAce'' called Jumborg 9, with Jean-Killer being named after a monster from the same series called Jum Killer.
* HumongousMecha: Much like his brother, although he can't transform.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast: Jean-'''Killer'''. Lampshaded by Mirror Knight, who suggested giving him a new name because of this once he joins their team.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Had red eyes as Jean-Killer.
* RocketPunch: Just like Jean-Bot.
* ShockAndAwe: Can shoot paralyzing lightning from his hands.
* YouAreNumberSix: Princess Emerana rechristened him Jean-Nine because he was the ninth of the group of heroes who defeated Beatstar (the Ultimate Force Zero, Rei, Captain Hyuuga, Gomora, and Litra).

!! Moroboshi
A [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Pigmon]] who serves as the mascot of the Ultimate Force Zero. The team first encountered him in ''Ultra Zero Fight'', where it was one of several monsters resurrected by the Alien Bat Gurashie, but unlike the others, remained a friendly and peaceful creature.
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* MeaningfulName: Named after Dan Moroboshi, the human form of [[Series/UltraSeven Zero's father]].
* MythologyGag: This isn't the first time Pigmon's been resurrected by the villains alonside other monsters, only to still be on the side of good and betray them. Just ask [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Geronimon]].
* MoralityPet
* TeamPet: Of the Ultimate Force Zero.
* YouShallNotPass: Despite its small size, Pigmon attempts to do this by preventing Belial-possessed Zero and the Darkness Five from marching forward. This caused Zero to have a HeroicSecondWind and eventually gaining his GoldenSuperMode to exorcise Belial and finally reviving his friends.

Other members of ZAP SPACY are Captain Hyuuga, Haruna, Oki, and Kumano. 267[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/run_8.jpg]]

The first host of Ultraman Zero, encountered by the hero when he first arrived in the alternate universe Belial was rampaging through. He is a law enforcer on the mining planet Anu, which was under attack by Belial's forces. Run was killed in the assault but Zero resurrected him and took him as a host to survive in the unfamiliar new dimension.
----
* BigBrotherInstinct: When Belial's Legionoids attacked his planet, he made sure to get Nao to safety, [[HeroicSacrifice which got him killed]].
* HumanAliens: While he does look exactly like a human, he actually hails from an alien planet on an alternate universe.
* SatelliteCharacter: Doesn't get much development on his own due to Zero having full control of his body for most of the film, other than being a protective big brother to Nao and brave enough to sacrifice his life without hesitation to save his little brother's own.

!! Nao
!!! Played by: Tatsuomi Hamada
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nao_5.jpg]]

Run's little brother, who enthusiastically joins Zero/Run on his adventures through the new universe alongside Princess Esmerana, and Jean-Bot.
----
* HumanAliens: Just like his older brother.
* TagalongKid: Justified by the fact that Zero is currently in the body of his older brother, so he really doesn't have anyone else to go with. He does prove to be quite useful at times, even piloting Jean-Bot against Belial's forces in the climax.

!! Princess Emerana Lourdes
!!! Played by: Tao Tsuchiya
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/emerana.jpg]]

The princess of the planet Esmeralda, a beautiful world with vast deposits of emerald-like minerals. Unfortunately, Esmeralda was ravaged by Ultraman Belial and his armies when he came to loot the planet. Emerana escaped with the help of Jean-Bot, soon running into Zero/Run and Nao and joining them in the struggle against Belial. She also appears in ''Killer the Beatstar'', where she and Jean-Bot are captured by the titlular A.I.
----
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: She helps Zero and Nao quite a bit on their journey in search of the Shield of Barraj, including [[spoiler:(temporarily) sacrificing her life to give Jean-Bot additional power.]] Not to mention, it was she who broke through to Jean-Killer and the mind-controlled Jean-Bot in ''Killer the Beatstar''.

!! Taiga Nozomu
!!! Played by: DAIGO
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/taiga_nozomu.jpg]]

The newest member of [[Series/UltramanDyna Super GUTS]], fifteen years after Shin Asuka's HeroicSacrifice. His ego and recklessness strongly reminds the old Super GUTS members of their lost teammate. However, he soon finds himself in a strange new universe when he is captured by surviving [[Series/UltramanDyna Spheres]] and brought to Team U's world, where he becomes the reluctant second host of Ultraman Zero.
----
* AcePilot: Despite being a cocky and childish private, he's a naturally-gifted pilot whose combat skills are noted to be on par with Asuka's.
* CharacterDevelopment: At the start of the film. He acted like a [[JerkAss stuck up rookie that thinks that he can go missions all alone]]. Only until after he realizes how much of a threat Alien Bat is, and how much Ultraman means to people do his true colors come into play and he begins to warm up to both Zero and his team.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Contributing to his SadClown status, Taiga's parents were killed in a fight between Dyna and a monster, hence why he was resistant to Zero's help from the start.
* {{Expy}}: Acts almost exactly like Shin Asuka from ''Series/UltramanDyna''. The old Super GUTS team members take note of this, but like with Asuka, CharacterDevelopment sees him change.
* ExpyCoexistence: [[spoiler: By the end of the film, Taiga Nozumu and Shin Asuka are fighting side-by-side, respectively as Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Dyna]].
* ReluctantWarrior: His heart is in the right place but from the get-go, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with being Zero's host.

[[caption-width-right:350:Left to right: Hina, Nonko, Sawa, Captain Anna, Misato, Maomi, and Risa]]

A group of women from a universe where Alien Bat has successfully eradicated all life on Earth (save for them and a group of orphaned children) to feed his Hyper Zetton. They have since formed a motley defense team of sorts to take care of the children and deal with the occasional giant monster. They are made of Anna (their leader), Misato (their deputy captain), Sawa (their strategist and best combatant), Nonko and Maomi (their mechanics), Hina (their communications operator), and Risa (their medic).
----
* ActionGirl: The ''entire team'', but especially Captain Anna, Misato, and Sawa.
* BadassNormal: They're a RagtagBunchOfMisfits who've managed to take care of themselves and a group of children during Alien Bat's reign with the help of mechs and strategically placed booby traps.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: They were really just a bunch of nobodies who got together in an abandoned defense team building and made it their own, only taking on the mantle after adopting the children.

* BadassTeacher: He serves as the mentor to Zero.
* BigDamnHeroes: when he arrives to save Zero, who was a hair's breadth away from being killed by Robot Ultraseven and Robot Ultraman.
* MasterApprenticeChain: It makes sense for Leo to be Zero's mentor and teacher, considering Zero's father, Ultraseven, had mentored Leo in the past during Leo's [[Series/UltramanLeo debut series]].

An Ultraman from a completely different universe who, like Zero, has become a traveler of the multiverse after originally performing a HeroicSacrifice to save Earth from a cosmic threat. He plays a secondary role in ''Film/MegaMonsterBattleUltraGalaxyLegends'' where he helps the M78 Ultras battle Belial, but in ''Film/UltramanSaga'', he is one of the major heroes alongside Zero and Cosmos. 370[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultraman_belial_infobox_8.png]]
A fallen Ultra warrior. Like Franchise/UltramanZero, Belial was originally a young and powerful warrior who was banished from the Land of Light after attempting to steal the Plasma Spark. In exile, he encountered the powerful entity known as [[Series/UltraGalaxyMegaMonsterBattle Reiblood]], who corrupted him further with his Reionyx powers. With the newfound ability to command monsters through the Giga Battlenizer, he led a huge army of kaiju against the Land of Light, but was ultimately defeated by [[Series/UltramanLeo Ultraman King]] and imprisoned in what became the planet's moon. But, after being freed by a foolish [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Alien Zarab]], he has begun to rampage through the cosmos once more and is now considered one of the greatest enemies of the Ultra heroes, especially his longtime foe Ultraman Zero and later on his "son" Series/UltramanGeed.
Belial has become one of the main antagonists overall of the entirety of the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' either directly working as the BigBad of multiple instalments or through the legacy of his work infuencing events in various other instalments instead.

!! The 100 Monster Army
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ultramanbelialsarmy.png]]

An army of one hundred of the ''Franchise/UltraSeries''' most (in)famous kaiju and alien enemies of the Ultramen. They form Belial's troops in ''Film/MegaMonsterBattleUltraGalaxyLegends'', created when the dark Ultra warrior uses his Giga Battlenizer and the Plasma Spark to resurrect the numerous souls of those slain by the Ultras throughout the ages and resting in Monster Graveyard. Facing them off are Series/{{Ultraman}}, Series/UltraSeven, Series/UltramanMebius, and [[Series/UltraGalaxyMegaMonsterBattle Rei's Gomora and Litra]].
-----
* BackFromTheDead: They are revived from the souls of various kaiju, aliens and even robots collected by Belial from the Monster Graveyard.
* DegradedBoss: Many of these monsters went from a formidable foe that takes an Ultra a whole episode to defeat to simply going down in one blow, with majority of them being killed en masse by Zero.
* {{Mooks}}: Basically their purpose after being brought back by Belial.
* VillainDecay:
** Especially notable for Antlar (whose hide can withstand Ultraman's Specium Ray in [[Series/{{Ultraman}} his debut]], but is put down by a single energy blast this time), Gan-Q (a tough monster that Seven kills with a single Eye Sluger attack), Galberos (who simply dies from a kick, while in ''Series/UltramanNexus'' and ''Mega Monster Battle'' he was a dangerous, reoccurring foe with illusionary abilities and pretty tough to kill) among several others. It ''might'' be justified; since the monsters were [[CameBackWrong recently resurrected]] by the Battlenizer their strength may still be at a fraction of their full power.
** While some show a degree of thinking, most of them behave as simplistic animals without much of an strategy or even use of their powers besides rushing the Ultras. Though like before, this is possibly a result of the way they were resurrected.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Some members of the army simply disappear during the battle, despite not being shown dying onscreen, such as Twin Tail, King Guesra, Pressure, Alien Reflect, among others. It's very likely Zero, the Ultra Brothers or Rei's kaiju killed them offscreen, however.
* TheWorfBarrage: The remainder of the army (at least 50 of them) serves to establish Ultraman Zero as a powerful warrior by getting defeated even with numbers advantage in under two minutes.
* ZergRush: Their standard methods of attacking due to having advantage in numbers, this helps them eventually exhaust the Ultras. Against Ultraman Zero, [[CurbStompBattle they're promptly beaten.]]
----
!! Belyudora
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/beryudora.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:''100 Beings Monster'']]

--> '''Belial''': You believe me to be ''so easily defeated''?

The ''ultimate'' trump card of Ultraman Belial, once Ultraman Zero wiped out the remnants of Belial's kaiju army and sent the vile Ultra into a stream of lava, it seems like the climax is finally over. But Belial, as a last-ditch move, re-revives his entire army (and 200 more) and now, in control of the largest fusion monster to date, prepares to wipe out the Ultramen and ZAP Spacy in one last attack.

* AchillesHeel: The Giga-Battlenizer, once hijacked, will result in Belial losing control.
* AllYourPowersCombined: Has control of all the monsters it's body is made of, as well as their accumulated abilities.
* AssimilationBackfire: Belial's attempts at merging hundreds and hundreds of monsters into a single entity only results in each body part revolting when Belial lose control. Which gives the heroes a chance to hit back.
* AwesomeButImpractical: In their ultimate form, Belyudora. They may be made of 300 different kaiju and seijin and have all their powers combined, but there's far too many of them for Belial to control, even with the Giga Battlenizer. This ends up backfiring for Belial in the climax when Rei managed to use his own Battlenizer on Belian's discarded weapon.
* BeamSpam: With Belial forcing all the monster components - those with ability to release beam attacks - to open fire on the heroes.
--> '''Belial''': Your lives will end... in a rain of fire!
* BodyOfBodies: Befitting the monster as a massive chimaera fusion made of 300-odd other monsters. To put things in perspective, it's ''fingers'' are made of ten different kaiju.
* EvilIsBigger: Three hundred times bigger than any ''Ultramen'', in fact.
* EvilIsBurningHot: By far the largest and most horrifying creature Belial has summoned, emerging from a pool of lava with magma acting as "glue" for holding it's parts together.
* EyesDoNotBelongThere: Has ''hundreds'' of eyes growing all over it's body, coming from the many monsters it's made up of. Though it does have two "main" eyes on the face which isn't sourced from any other kaiju.
* FaceHeelTurn: Some of Belyudora's parts are actually benevolent, non-villainous monsters or allies to the Ultramen in their previous appearances, such as [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Gavadon (both A and B), Seabozu]], [[Series/{{Ultraseven}} Alien Pegassa]], [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Zanika, Stegon]] [[Series/UltramanTaro the Tortoise Family]], [[Series/UltramanAce Baktari]], [[Series/UltramanLeo Guiro, Taishoh]], [[Series/UltramanEighty Lavuras]], [[Series/UltramanTIga Obiko]], [[Series/UltramanGaia Zonnel, Mizunoeno Dragon]], [[Series/UltramanMebius Alien Zamusher]], among several others. It might be due to the Giga-Battlenizer's control.
* FusionDance: After the last members of Belial's army have been slain, Belial resurrects them all, ''again'', together with at least 200 others, to form Belyudra.
* GiantEqualsInvincible: Belyudora shrugs off everything the Ultramen, Gomora and the ZAP Spacy threw at it without even flinching, and it takes Rei finding the Giga-Battlenizer and hijacking it to turn the battle around.
* HornsOfVillainy: Has a pair of menacing-looking, protruding horns on it's head... each made of around twenty monsters fused into one.
* LeaderFormsTheHead: Ultraman Belial forms the "brain" of Belyudora, with the lesser kaiju as the other body parts.
* AMoltenDateWithDeath: Belyudora begins the battle emerging from a massive lava lake, and spends the whole battle standing in it. Once Belial is defeated, all 300 monsters that made up Belyudora promptly erupts away and what's left goes into the lava.
* NonIndicativeName: Despite it's moniker of "100 Beings" Monster, Belyudora is actually made of 300-odd kaiju.
* TailSlap: Belyudora has an immensely powerful tail that effortlessly took down Gomora in it's Burst Form.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Belial's best way to take down five Ultramen and a few scant humans? By dragging out three hundred monsters and turning them into his own mountain-sized chimaera monster before sending it into battle.
* WingsDoNothing: It has wings as wide as entire mountains, but it's never depicted flying with these.
* YourSizeMayVary: Some of Belyudora's components have never been depicted as kaiju-sized, and yet they're as large as the other monstrous components. In particular, various aliens and robots from ''Series/{{Ultraseven}}'' such as Alien Pegassa, Alien Chibull, Alien Cool and U-Tom as well as Alien Black from ''Series/ReturnOfUltraman'' were human-sized in their previous appearances but are now ''huge'' when merged into Belyudora.

!! Darklops Zero
[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darklops_zero.png]]
A robotic doppelganger of Ultraman Zero who serves as the title antagonist of ''Ultraman Zero vs Darklops Zero''. It was discovered by a group of [[Series/UltraSeven Alien Salome]] who realized it was not of this universe and sought to harness its great power. But, it turned out to be much less under their control than they imagined...
----
* ChestBlaster: The Dimension Core, a weapon usually hidden under its colour timer that can blast enemies into another universe.
* CyberCyclops: Hence the name Darklops ("Dark" and "Cyclops").
* BetterToDieThanBeKilled: After being mortally wounded by Zero, Darklops instead chose to detonate his own power core, in an act of suicide rather than admitting he lost to Zero.
* EliteMook: He's technically just one of Belial's many fodder troops, yet is way more threatening than almost all of his minions sans his CoDragons.
* EvilKnockoff: Of Ultraman Zero, replicating his appearance, arsenal and moveset. He also has what could be calle a dark version of Zero's personality, being cocky and talkative but cruel at the same time.
* HumongousMecha: A robot duplicate of Ultraman Zero from another universe discovered by the Salome who then decided to use it themselves up until it rebelled and destroyed them all.
* MirrorMatch: His final match against Zero invokes this. Both of them are capable of the same fighting moves and techniques, can launch their dual sluggers all over the place, and repeatedly spam their beam attacks on each other. The ''real'' Zero wins nevertheless, using a trick move he learned from his mentor Leo.
* RobotMe: Of Zero. It was designed to be a perfect mirror of all his moves, and thus make it a deadly fighter.
* SuperPrototype: He may be just Belial's prototype, but he puts up ''way'' more of a fight against Zero than his mass produced successors, even being able to hold on to its last legs to try and take Zero and his allies with him.
* VaguenessIsComing: Before self-destructing, Prototype Darklops mocks Zero and boasts that a great darkness (Belial) is coming.

!! Dark Go Ne
!!! Voiced by: Taiyo Kawashita
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darkgone.png]]

A commanding officer of Belial's universe-conquering empire in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial'', serving as one of the primary villains of the movie.
----
* AllThereInTheManual: According to stage shows and supplementary materials, both him and Iaron worked for [[Series/UltramanAce Yapool]] in the past before defecting for Belial's army.
* BondVillainStupidity: When he successfully binds Jean-Bot with his Go Ne whip and begins shocking him with his energy, he decides to torture him and Nao while slowly approaching them to finish them off which lets Jean-Bot take him by surprise with his axe and kill him in one blow, just as [[InvokedTrope he and Nao]] [[AllAccordingToPlan planned]].
* CastingAShadow: He can enter and teleport between any locations with sufficient darkness.
* ChestBlaster: His Gone Laser, which also has homing qualities and can split into multiple shots.
* CoDragons: With Iaron in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial'', both are Belial's most powerful and reliable lackeys in the film and tend to either be by his side or carry out his will personally.
* CombatTentacles: In his battle with Jean-Bot, he demonstrates this with the Gone Whip, a tentacle formed from his right hand that channels electricity and drains energy.
* DarkIsEvil: Can't get any more blatant than '''Dark''' Go Ne. His design only adds to his very evil being.
* ExtraEyes: Has four red eyes. Two on his face and other two above.
* {{Homage}}: Based on the main villains from ''Series/JumborgAce'', the Go-Ne faction.
* ObviouslyEvil: With his evil appearance, name and sadistic attitude Dark Go Ne does not hide how much of a scoundrel he is.
* {{Sadist}}: When fighting Jean-Bot he takes a lot of pleasure in giving him and Nao an electric torture and decides to take his time finishing them off when he has them at his mercy, unfortunately for him [[BondVillainStupidity this last action costs him his life]].
* ShapeshifterWeapon: He can transform both of his hands into swords of shadow and a rope which he can use to shock opponents.

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iaron.png]]

A fellow commander for Ultraman Belial's planet-raiding armies of Darklopses and Legionoids in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial'', making him one of the film's main antagonists.
----
* AllThereInTheManual: According to stage shows and supplementary materials, both him and Dark Go Ne worked for [[Series/UltramanAce Yapool]] in the past before defecting for Belial's army.
* {{Cephalothorax}}: His face is on his chest, though its rather small compared to the rest of his body.
* CoDragons: With Darkgone in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial''.
* ExtraOreDinary: His body is partially made of a type of steel, making him nigh indestructible. Except for one particular injured spot in his back.
* {{Homage}}: Based on Iron, the first and most popular MonsterOfTheWeek of ''Series/{{Mirrorman}}''.
* InTheBack: He dies when Mirror Knight shoots an energy ninja star and traps him inside of a mirror prison where he makes the star bounce until it hits Iaron's AchillesHeel to kill him by piercing through his otherwise indestructible body.
* MakeMeWannaShout: Can fire sonic blasts from the spike on the top of his body and a stronger version of this attack which manifests as a large dark energy blast.
* SmugSuper: He thinks of himself as an invincible and unbeatable force and mocks Mirror Knight for being "fragile". While he's powerful and close to invulnerable, his underestimation of Mirror Knight costs him his life.
* TorsoWithAView: Get's one of Mirror Knight's stars in its back, which then comes out from its ''face''.

!! Darklopses
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/darklops-group_3828.jpg]]

Robotic soldiers that form a good chunk of Ultraman Belial's armies in ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial''. They are doppelgangers of Ultraman Zero, and as their name suggests, they are actually the finalized versions of darklops Zero, who was a prototype built by Belial before the Alien Salome Dr. Herodia and her assistants found it.
----
* CyberCyclops: Hence the name Darklops ("Dark" and "Cyclops").
* EvilKnockoff: Of Zero, except there's thousands of them.
* HumongousMecha: This being the Ultra Series, it comes naturally for MechaMooks.
* MechaMooks: Alongside the Legionoids, they act as this for Belial. Though they're still more competent and dangerous than their fellow MechaMooks, the Legionoids.
* MookChivalry: Averted. A trio of them sent to the Land of Light gang up on Zero and relentlessly attack him with everything they got.
* RobotMe: Of Zero just like the prototype.
* PunnyName: Their name is a combination of Darkness and Cyclops, which is reflected in their design.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: The last one of the trio sent to the Land of Light tries to make a retreat after its companions are destroyed, only to be wiped out by Zero's Wide Shot before he gets the chance.

!! Legionoids
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a_legionoid.png]]

Mechanical soldiers serving as the standard troops of the Belial Galactic Empire, the universe-ravaging dictatorship Belial has established in an alternate dimension during ''Film/UltramanZeroTheRevengeOfBelial''. They are sent out to assault entire planets alongside the Darklopses. Another one also appears in ''Killer the Beatstar'' under control of the title A.I., but is swiftly defeated by Rei's Gomora.
----
* ArmCannon: The space-based Legionoids posses these on both arms.
* HumongousMecha: This being the Ultra Series, it comes naturally for MechaMooks.
* MechaMooks: Alongside the Darklopses. Though the Legionoids are far weaker. Though this only really applies within the powers of Ultras, as anywhere else they're flat-out unstoppable.
* ThisIsADrill : The ground-based Legionoids have their arms ending in drills.

A gang of evil aliens assembled by Ultraman Belial in the second season of ''Ultra Zero Fight'' for the purpose of destroying the Ultimate Force Zero. All of them are members of species known for being among the Ultras' deadliest opponents.

!! As a whole:
* AllThereInTheManual: According to supplementary material for ''Series/UltramanGeed'', they participated in the Crisis Impact. The show hints at this when Belial's flashbacks show him plotting the event, though it's unknown what they did in there and their whereabouts ater.
* DarkIsEvil: A legion of villains called the Darkness Five that serve a dark master fit the trope to a T.
* ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin: There are five members in their team.
* ObviouslyEvil: Nothing about them as a whole bothers to even try to hide the fact that they're evil.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: All of them are distinguished from other members of their own species by having ominous, glowing red eyes.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: They are not mentioned or seen in ''Series/UltramanGeed'' besides one small cameo in a flashback. Their fates are currently unknown.

* MagicKnight: He's both a master of the blade and a master over dark arts, as his full title shows.
* RedBaron: He's also known as The Sorcerous Sly.
* UndyingLoyalty: Not even Belial dying is enough to shake off his loyalty to the Ultra and is worried when he believes that Belial would be DeaderThanDead if he can't find a body to take over.

!! Villainous

----
See Characters/UltramanTaro
* TheBrute: Not as bad as previous Temperors, but he's mostly focused on fighting with sheer brute force. Though is smart enough to pick his battles carefully.
* CardCarryingVillain: His full title is: Villainous of the Villainy/The Nefarious Villainous. It can't get any less subtle than that.
* GiverOfLameNames: He's this, if his [[DepartmentOfRedundancyDepartment redundant]] full title of Villainous of the Villainy is anything to go by. Zero even mocks him for it.
* ObviouslyEvil: Looks evil as he's an Alien Temperor, has an evil sounding name and title and sounds redundantly evil. Need we say more?
* SpeakIllOfTheDead: Zero dosen't really care when he's destroyed Jathar but when Villainous mocks Jathar for being weak, it pisses off Zero something fierce.

* RedBaron: He's also known as The Infernal Jathar.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: The first (and only) of the Darkness Five to kick the bucket.

[[folder:Alien Bat]]
!! Alien Bat
!!! Voiced by: Hideo Higashikokubaru (''Film/UltramanSaga''), Creator/ShintaroAsanuma (''Ultra Zero Fight'')
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/batseijinzero.png]]
An updated version of the final alien invader to attack Earth in ''Series/ReturnOfUltraman''. Alien Bat is Zero's second most frequent adversary after Ultraman Belial, first appearing as the BigBad of ''Film/UltramanSaga''. He seeks to destroy all life in the multiverse. In his debut, he abducted nearly the entire human race on an alternate version of Earth to use them to feed his monster Hyper Zetton. He was also indirectly responsible for the creation of Beatstar.

In ''Ultra Zero Fight'', a second Alien Bat named Gurashie (an apprentice of the first one) appears as the first season's BigBad. Like his predecessor, he carries out his scheme to destroy Ultraman Zero by resurrecting a number of monsters from the Monster Graveyard.
----
See Characters/ReturnOfUltraman

* AdaptationalJerkass: The original Alien Bat was pretty bad already, but this one takes all his negative traits up a notch and is even more vicious than his original counterpart. Likewise he seeks the death of all life in the Multiverse, as opposed to simply seeking complete conquest of Earth.
* ArtEvolution: Alien Bat has received a ''massive'' design upgrade from his original incarnation. Whereas the original being was a chubby, somewhat silly-looking fellow with giant fangs, oversized pincers and an antennae on his head, the new Alien Bat is dressed in a sleek suit of robotic armor and has more blatantly bat-like features designed into his mask.
* AttackDrone: He can launch a few of these from his spaceship. Three of the drones ends up engaging Ultraman Zero, and the last one nearly killed Nozumu Taiga if not for Zero's intervention.
* BigBad: Of ''Film/UltramanSaga''.
* DeathByIrony: [[spoiler: After declaring himself to be the ultimate ruler of the universe, beyond any life form in existance (see AGodAmI, above), Alien Bat would end up receiving Ultraman Saga's MegatonPunch which instantly squashes him into bits like a pathethic, insignificant little insect]]. Its one of the most deliciously entertaining and catharthic moments ever in Ultraman Zero's career.
* AGodAmI: His justification for his omnicidal tendencies is that he believes he has the divine power to do as he wishes to the multiverse. He refers to Hyper Zetton as proof of his godhood.
* GreaterScopeVillain: of ''Film/UltramanZeroGaidenKillerTheBeatstar''. In which the genocide he commnitted in another universe caused the remaining organic inhabitents to create the titular Beatstar, who eventually went rogue and concluded that all organics need to be destroyed partially due to how much it feared Alien Bat.
* HateSink: The ''Ultraman Saga'' incarnation in particular sticks out for being the most sinister and devious incarnation yet, earning nothing but contempt from humans, Ultras, and kaijus alike. He seeks to conquer Earth by abducting most of the adult population and leaving just the children behind, in order to instill fear among the remaining Earthlings. He abducts and resurrects souls of Kaijus which are already resting in peace in the Monster Graveyard, only to [[BadBoss treat them as slaves]] and [[YouHaveFailedMe executing them for failing him]]. He gloats about his powers before the Ultra warriors, yet spends most of the movie hiding behind the safety of his own spaceship or Hyper-Zetton. [[spoiler: In the end, watching Ultraman Saga - a fusion Ultra warrior with the combined strength of 3 Ultramen - squash him with a MegatonPunch is insanely satisfying]].
* OmnicidalManiac: Seeks to destroy ''the entire multiverse''.
* StrawNihilist: The reason why he wants to destroy the multiverse is because he believes life is ultimately meaningless because of death. He has created Hyper Zetton for the purpose of hastening the process for everyone.
* TookALevelInBadass: While the original Alien Bat wasn't a laughing matter, he had nothing on this guy in terms of sheer threat posed to the universe.

[[caption-width-right:350:Click [[labelnote:here]]https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/giganto_zetton.png[[/labelnote]] to see its larval form Gigant Hyper Zetton]]

An even more powerful version of the final opponent of the original Series/{{Ultraman}}. Alien Bat created this creature to eradicate all life in the multiverse, incubating its egg and feeding the growing larva by harvesting the fear of survivors from an alternate Earth he attacked in the events of ''Film/UltramanSaga''.

Hyper Zetton has been brought back in the shows on several occasions, sometimes with new and updated forms like [[Series/UltramanOrb Hyper Zetton Deathscythe]], but it is generally used the same way the producers would use the standard Zetton.
----
For tropes also applying to the standard Zetton, see the Characters/UltramanTVSeries Character Sheet

* AchillesHeel:
** In his Gigant Form, removing it's scythe-like arms will render it immobile for a short period, allowing the Ultras to momentarily turn the tide of battle.
** In his Hyper Form, [[spoiler: it's wings, which upon being sliced off by Ultraman Saga made it easy picking for the hero]].
* AnArmAndALeg: In the penultimate battle, Ultraman Zero and Dyna maned to blow off Gigant Hyper Zetton's scythe-like arms, weakening the monster enough for their killing blow.
* BewareMyStingerTail: Possesses a serrated tail.
* BishonenLine: This incarnation of Zetton begins as a blobby, egg-like giant sack, which then turns into the centipede-looking Giganto Hyper Zetton, before becoming the slim, well-refined humanoid form of Hyper Zetton.
* BladeBelowTheShoulder: Has sword-like projections in place of Zetton's usual hands.
* ChestBlaster: While Zetton is always able to shoot out fireballs, Hyper Zetton launches them from its chest rather than its "face".
* CombatTentacles: As Gigant Hyper Zetton, which are actually extended versions of its front legs.
* EliteMook: Of one of the most powerful monsters in the original ''Series/{{Ultraman}}''.
* EmotionEater: Alien Bat sustained the creature on human fear to make it as powerful as it is (though feeding it several Spheres probably helped as well).
* MetamorphosisMonster: Begins as an utterly colossal centipede-like abomination called Gigant Hyper Zetton before metamorphosing into the more traditional humanoid form.
* MythologyGag: This isn't the first time [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Alien Bat has commanded a Zetton.]]
* SinisterScythe: His arms resembles giant scythes.
* TeleportSpam: In Hyper Zetton form, while the original Zetton does have a degree of teleportation ability, Hyper Zetton on the other hand takes it up a notch.
* TinyHeadedBehemoth: In his Giganto Hyper form.
* TorsoWithAView: [[spoiler: Gigant Hyper Zetton's fate, from having the Ultimate Aegis Zero penetrating it's center]]. But it gets better.

[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/capture_945.PNG]]

One of a race of genius-intelligence, human-like aliens that once attacked Earth with a robot replica of Series/UltraSeven. She was the head of a team studying parallel universes on the planet Chain in hopes of conquering the multiverse with their army of robot Ultramen and two new robots -- the Mecha-Gomora and a strange new robot called Darklops Zero. However, their studies threatened the stability of the multiverse, attracting the attention of ZAP SPACY and Ultraman Zero.
----
* BigBad: Of ''Ultraman Zero and vs Darklops Zero'' [[spoiler:at least until Darklops Zero reveals itself to be more independent than she believed.]]
* BigBadWannabe: Herodia strongly believes she can control Darklops and pays dearly for her misjudgment.
* CoolChair: She goes around her base in a hover-chair.
* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler: She simply gets dropped to her death by Darklops from a high point and succumbs to her injuries, with no visible wounds on her]].
* MeaningfulName: Herodia was the wife of King Herod in the Bible, as her species are named after the pair's daughter.
* MultiversalConqueror: Her goal is to seize the multiverse with an army of robot Ultras, taking advantage of a weak point in reality to leap through dimensions.

!! Mecha-Gomora
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mecha_gomora.png]]

A robot replica of Gomora, specifically the one used by Rei of ZAP SPACY. It the Gomora of a Rei from an alternate universe. When Dr. Herodia's team captured them, they took his Battlenizer and modified it, transforming it into a robot that would serve the Alien Salome in multiversal conquest.

Mecha-Gomora has since been transferred to the TV series beginning with ''Series/UltramanX'', where he often appears as a MonsterOfTheWeek.
----
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: As a result of Darklops Zero stealing control of it from Dr. Herodia during the climax.
* BreakoutVillain: Has since become a frequently appearing MonsterOfTheWeek in the TV shows, thanks to being pretty well received upon his debut.
* ChestBlaster: His Mega Crusher Ray, which is fired from the pink light on his chest.
* {{Cyborg}}: While showing no organic features on himself. Mecha Gomora was once a normal Gomora, until he was "[[AndIMustScream modified]]" by the Alien Salome into serving them.
* EvilKnockoff: The Salome pretty much specialize in constructing these, so inevitably there was going to be one of Rei's Gomora.
* GrapplingHookGun: With his claws attached to them no less.
* HornAttack: Like his organic counterpart, Mecha-Gomora can shoot out a Super Oscillatory Wave from his nasal horn and also likes to use it by jamming his horn in foes first.
* {{Homage}}: Intentionally designed after [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} Mechagodzilla]], particularly the original one from ''Film/GodzillaVsMechagodzilla''. Fans have also noted the resemblance to [[Franchise/{{Digimon}} MechaGreymon]], given Greymon was based on Gomora.
* HumongousMecha: A robotic doppelganger created by the Salome from the Battlenizer data of Gomora from the Rei of an alternate universe.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Able to fire a slew of missiles from his fingers and back.
* RobotMe: Of Rei's Gomora.
* RoboticReveal: Done in a very noticeable homage to [[Film/GodzillaVsMechagodzilla Mechagodzilla]].

!! Robot Ultra Brothers
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/robot_ultras.jpg]]

Robot replicas of [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Zoffy, Ultraman]], Series/UltraSeven, [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Ultraman Jack]], and Series/UltramanAce mass produced by Dr. Herodia and her men for the purpose of conquering the multiverse alongside Mecha-Gomora and Darklops Zero from their base on Planet Chain.
----
* BeamOWar: Robot Ace and Ultraman Zero, with their Metallium Ray and Zero Wide Shot respectively. And later on, Ultraman Leo and Zero combining their powers to perform the Zero Reflasher, against Robot Ultraman and Robot Ultraseven using their knockoff Specium Ray and Wide Shot.
* EvilKnockoff: While Robot Ultraseven was in the Salome's original appearance in ''Series/UltraSeven'' and a Robot Ace with a different design appeared briefly in ''Series/UltramanAce'', all of the others are totally new.
* KilledOffscreen: Robot Zoffy and Robot Jack, the former who got the latter's lance [[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice shoved through his chest]].
* MechaMooks: Of the Salome, who pretty much specialize in this.
* RobotMe: Of all the Ultra Brothers except Taro.

!! Beatstar
!!! Voiced by: Creator/UnshoIshizuka
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/beatstar.jpg]]

The BigBad of ''Killer the Beatstar''. Beatstar is a supercomputer created by survivors of a universe destroyed by Alien Bat to monitor their planet-ship as they fled for new dimensions. Unfortunately, his creators became hateful and violent towards each other, leading the A.I. to believe it must destroy all organic life to bring peace. Thus it searches for worlds to destroy, eventually bringing it into conflict with the Ultimate Force Zero and ZAP SPACY when it captures Jean-Bot and Princess Emerana.
----
* AIIsACrapshoot: Was made for the purpose of maintaining order within its worldship. Unfortunately for the ship's inhabitants, any wars waged between them are also dealt with. ''Severely.''
* TheAssimilator: Able to gain control over any robots and cyborgs it captures, creating vast armies of King Joes, Imperisers, Legionoids, as well as commanding an Ace Killer and the enslaved Jean-Bot.
* TheBlank: Possesses no facial features despite its humanoid form.
* MacrossMissileMassacre: Its body is covered in hidden missile launchers it fires en masse at Zero.
* MasterComputer: Of the worldship of the same name. Jean-Killer describes Beatstar as not just the A.I., but the whole "planet".
* OminousFog: Produces energy-draining fog to weaken the Ultimate Force Zero against their robot foes while also adding atmosphre against the hero's silent enemies.
* OmnicidalManiac: Seeks to destroy all organic life in the universe, believing that all such beings are evil.
* PlanetSpaceship: Built for one, a DysonSphere large enough to destroy a planet by simply plowing into it. It's hollow inside houses the inhabitants, with an artificial sun and moon giving a semblance of normality.
* ShockAndAwe: Can fire a variety of lightning-based abilities from its "face".
* SuperSpeed: Displayed this briefly when Jean-Nine attempted to fire at it.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Beatstar ultimately seeks to bring universal peace and order. The problem is it believes organic beings are the inherent cause of war and strife, thus seeks to replace the universe's inhabitants with robots to end such problems.

[[folder:Miscellaneous Monsters]]
Of course, the ''Franchise/UltraSeries''' many MonstersOfTheWeek all get roles in Ultraman Zero's adventures. Those with notable appearances are listed below.

! ''Mega Monster Battle Ultra Galaxy Legends''
!! Alien Zarab
!!! Voiced by: Creator/TakeshiAono
An alien who only appears at the very beginning of the movie (although there are some hints he was the one seen in ''Series/UltraGalaxyMegaMonsterBattle NEO''), where he has somehow gotten his hand on the Giga-Battlenizer (as seen in TheStinger of ''Series/UltramanMebiusGaiden: Ghost Rebirth''). He used it free Belial from his prison after sneaking past the guards, hoping that Belial would form an alliance with him in gratitude. Unfortunately, Belial killed him instead, causing M78's greatest crisis yet.
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* EarlyBirdCameo: Disregarding the possibility that he was the one from ''Ultra Galaxy'' (as suggested by his fondness for collecting Battlenizers), the Zarab in this movie (or at least his hand) is first seen in TheStinger of ''Ultraman Mebius: Ghost Rebirth''.
* EvilIsNotAToy: Freed [[SatanicArchetype Belial]] in hopes that he would be grateful and team up with him. Belial promptly killed him and became an even bigger threat than Zarab could ever hope to be.

!! Zaragas
A monster encountered by ZAP SPACY when they land on the planet Dent. It was battled and quickly defeated by Rei's Gomora. This is also Zaragas' reintroduction into the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' since originally appearing in 1967 (for context, the movie came out in 2009).
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* BreathWeapon: Zaragas spits a fireball at ZAP SPACY when it first arrives -- an ability not seen in any other appearance.
* TheBusCameBack: From this point onwards, Zaragas becomes a recurring kaiju for the next few Ultra series after a 40+ year absence from the franchise.

!! Alien Shaplay
A Reionyx who apparently survived the events of ''Series/UltraGalaxyMegaMonsterBattle NEO'' and is now working for Ultraman Belial. He is sent to patrol the frozen Land of Light with three of Belial's monsters ([[Series/{{Ultraman}} Dorako]], [[Series/ReturnOfUltraman Bemstar]], and [[Series/UltramanEighty Salamandoras]]) and prevent [[Series/{{Ultraman}} Hayata]], [[Series/UltraSeven Dan]], [[Series/UltramanMebius Mirai]], and Rei from escaping the Land of Light to find Belial. This is also Alien Shaplay's reintroduction into the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' after his 1968 debut.

* TheBusCameBack: One of many monsters in the film to have not been seen since their original appearances. Curiously though, his monster Giladorus seems to have been forgotten.
* SuperSpit: Shown to be able to spit a glob of corrosive goo that damages Mirai's Mebium Brace.

!! Black King
Alien Shaplay's personal Battlenizer monster, summoned to destroy the heroes after Dan's [[Series/UltraSeven Capsule Monsters]] defeat Dorako, Bemstar, and Salamandoras. It battles Rei's Gomora while Shaplay takes on the Ultras in their human identities. This is also Black King's reintroduction into the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', having not appeared since 1971.

* TheBusCameBack: After having gone unseen in the Ultra series since ''Series/ReturnOfUltraman'', Black King returns and goes on to become one of most frequently recurring kaiju in the franchise.

!! Alien Zetton
An agent of Ultraman Belial sent to attack ZAP SPACY with the robotic dragon Narse in response to Rei joining the fight against the dark Ultra warrior. However, his appearance is also marked by the unexpected return of [[Series/UltramanDyna Shin Asuka]].
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* SmallRoleBigImpact: His attempt to hijack ZAP SPACY ultimately leads to Shin Asuka reappearing, which then results in Ultraman Dyna and the ZAP SPACY crew making their way to the Monster Graveyard to assist Rei and the Ultras.

!! Narse
Another monster reintroduced into the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' after a lengthy absence (unseen since 1967). It was a member of Belial's 100 Monster Army, sent alongside Alien Zetton to attack ZAP SPACY. However, Narse's return also marked the return of another character -- Series/UltramanDyna.
----
See Characters/UltraSeven

* TheBusCameBack: Although it seems Narse took the bus again, because this was the robot dragon's only reappearance until ''Series/UltramanTriggerNewGenerationTiga'', 12 years later.

! ''Killer the Beatstar''

!! The Mecha Robot Army as a whole
Armies of robotic monsters serving Beatstar, whose ranks consists of several past monsters in the series... and ''one'' Ace Killer.
----
* MechaMooks: The Mecha Robot Army, a whole legion of robot kaiju serving Beatstar and facilitating his plans for universal conquest.
* OffTheShelfFX: The shot of Beatstar's army on the moon is achieved using copies of Bandai's Sofubi toys.

* SuplexFinisher: Is on the receiving end of one from Glenfire, which kills it.

* VillainTeamUp: Bands with King Joe and Imperiser to beat down on Rei's Gomora.

! ''Ultraman Saga''
!! Earthtron
A monster that attacks Team U at the beginning of the film when they're out shopping, being one of numerous kaiju resurrected by Alien Bat from the Monster Graveyard. Fortunately, Ultraman Dyna shows up and easily destroys the beast.
----
See Characters/ReturnOfUltraman

* CurbStompBattle: Dyna effortlessly defeats Earthtron in under a minute.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: It's screentime may be minimal, but Earthtron is the very reason Team U and the children befriends Ultraman Dyna / Shin Asuka in the very first place. Which would ultimately lead to Dyna summoning the Ultramen, Cosmos and Zero, into the alternate universe kickstarting the entire plot of the film.

!! Gomess
One of two monsters used by Alien Bat to attack Team U after the defeat of Earthtron. It faced off against Ultraman Zero and Series/UltramanCosmos alongside Gubila.
----
See Characters/UltraQ

!! Gubila
The second of two monsters resurrected by Alien Bat to attack Team U, only to be faced with Ultraman Zero and Series/UltramanCosmos. This also marks the return of Gubila to the ''Franchise/UltraSeries'', having not been seen since his debut in the original 1966 series.
----
See Characters/UltramanTVSeries

* TheBusCameBack: The only example not from ''Film/MegaMonsterBattleUltraGalaxyLegends''. Afterwards, Gubila becomes another frequently recurring kaiju, only with a more sympathetic side than in his original appearance.
* SuperPersistentPredator: The Gubila from ''Ultraman Saga'' seems a little too keen to stomp down Nozumu Taiga and a little boy, pursuing them across the city, through the waterfront and under a bridge, until it's resorted to destroying the whole bridge just to catch two tiny humans.
