!!The Zaibatsu
[[folder: The Zaibatsu as a whole]]
* BreakingTheFellowship: On the heels of the ''[[VideoGame/OmikronTheNomadSoul Omikron]]'' playthrough, it was announced that Matt was going on a hiatus while Liam was quitting the channel altogether (citing stress and mental health concerns, respectively), leaving Pat and Woolie as the only active members for a while. This led to plenty of GallowsHumor that [[BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu the strain of completing]] ''[[BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu Omikron]]'' [[BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu destroyed the Zaibatsu]] (despite Liam not being involved in the LP at all).
** TheFellowshipHasEnded: On a more serious note, on December 16, 2018, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8foDBekOYM a video]] was released out of the blue announcing that the group was breaking up indefinitely, due to Matt and Pat's friendship having gradually faded over the years. The trio explained that they would be focusing on their own [=YouTube=] and Twitch channels, and that the original channel would be left intact as an archive.
* ColorCodedCharacters: According to the logo, Matt is displayed in blue, Pat in red, Woolie in green, and Liam in yellow (with Zach in white). Got lampshaded by Woolie during ''VideoGame/ShrekSuperSlam'' where they didn't stick to their colors, expecting viewers to be pissed about it.
* CombinationAttack: During Cranky's mechaweek [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUUXTwsTeO8&index=8&list=PL57hJfweW_2sIaN_LFcokufbeAa-w6oUp intro]].
-->'''Zaibatsu:''' Zaibatsu! GIGATON! KIIIIILLL BUSTERRRRRD!!!
* FourPhilosophyEnsemble: Especially apparent on the podcast:
** Matt is the Apathetic. He tends to stay out of arguments and debates, [[PluckyComicRelief and is the one most focused on humor]].
** Pat is the Cynic. He admits to finding the failures and screw-ups of companies and other people hilarious, is prone to freaking out about trivial things, and is often [[VitriolicBestBuds pitted against]] [[ThePollyanna Liam]] in arguments and debates on the podcast.
** Woolie is the Realist. Whereas Pat and Liam represent the two extremes, Woolie usually [[TakeAThirdOption attempts to find a reasonable middle ground]].
** Liam is the Optimist. He has the most faith in companies, franchises, and [[ThePollyanna systems currently doing poor financially]], [[VitriolicBestBuds and is often at odds]] with [[FieryRedhead Pat]] over it.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble: The Zaibatsu's [[ColorCodedCharacters color coding]] on the logo overlap surprisingly well with their personalities and interests:
** Matt is Phlegmatic. He tends to play the {{foil}} to Pat, being the more laid-back and goofy of the two, and his wife makes [[http://crymetina.tumblr.com/post/163796919079/gorgeous-shot-of-my-character-by-voltabass-from mention]] of his creativity and talent.
** Pat is Choleric, naturally. There's a reason his nickname was for a long time "Angriest Pat", and he is known for his [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin fiery]] vitriol and strong, even hyperbolic opinions on games.
** Woolie is Melancholic. Outside of fighting games talk, he tends to be the most rational and practical the OnlySaneMan among the four. Amusingly, he's known for having green as his favorite color, and his usernames ("[[Franchise/StreetFighter Shout Of Earth]]" and "[[VideoGame/ShadowOfTheColossus Roar Of Earth]]") are both [[YellowEarthGreenEarth earth-explicitly associated]].
** Liam is Sanguine. As the youngest, he's also the most cheerful, friendly, and idealistic of the bunch.
* MeaningfulName: The name is a Japanese term (財閥, 'Financial Clique') referring to industrial and financial business conglomerates in the Empire of Japan.
-->'''Woolie''': We just think it's cool 'cause a Zaibatsu is basically a Japanese business conglomerate and it's just like... this serious group of business dudes in a room, y'know, and we're like, 'that's the kind of corporation we wanna be if anything.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Prior to the breakup, they would throw each other under the bus all the time but still come and play video games with each other.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Matt]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mattsbfp_1994.jpg]]
The self-proclaimed American Dream. [[note]]Actually Canadian, like everyone else in the series[[/note]]

Matt is pretty much the centerpoint of the series. It's his [=YouTube=] account, after all. Almost all videos have had Matt in them in some capacity. When the series began, he played the role of the dumb guy opposite Pat, but as the series settled into a groove, he let more of his natural persona come through. Knowledgeable about many kinds of games, but he tends to steer away from [=RPGs=].

He has his own channel: ''WebVideo/MattMcMuscles''.
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: Can be prone to this, like when he threw the axe in ''VideoGame/SilentHillDownpour'' and got caught in the scenery in ''[[VideoGame/MaxPayne Max Payne 3]]''; the latter was a bug, but FridgeBrilliance came into play when it was finally revealed that he had a background in videogame QA.
* AscendedFanboy: Of Godzilla; Following a week of Godzilla games in 2014, Creator/BandaiNamcoEntertainment sent him a copy of the [[VideoGame/{{Godzilla}} 2015 Godzilla game]] to promote, which he seemed only too happy to do.
* BerserkButton:
** Photography became this to him after his wedding, due to finding out that the photographer he had hired was a complete hack who was just using the gig to [[AllMenArePerverts perv on his wife's bridesmaids]].
** Broken glasses on the streets.
* ButNotTooForeign: The enthusiasm for America stems from having an American mother and he appears to have Polish blood as well, judging from his real last name.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: Matt easily has the most Catch Phrases of any of the best friends, and occasionally the others will shout them as well. He also has a habit of yelling out pop culture catchphrases at random during Let's Plays if he can't think of anything more relevant to say at the moment.
* BuxomBeautyStandard: He's repeatedly shown his appreciation for one Hitomi Tanaka, a Japanese AV star the Best Friends refer to as "Hitomi J-Cup", and during a [[InVinoVeritas drunken]] explanation on why he liked Wrestling/TrishStratus, he mentioned one reason was because "she's tits amazing".
* CatchPhrase: Is the most likely of the four to coin soundbites and verbal running gags.
** "AMERICA!!"
** "...Nailed it!"
** "See you later, fuckers!"
** "More than you think but less than you hope."
** "What a mysterious game!" which, following some Brazilian games in their second Shitstorm, has evolved to "What a mysterious jogo!" Subsequently "What an ''amazing'' game!" when the game in question proves to be less than amazing, and "What a hero!" when the character in question is being a {{Jerkass}}.
** "THERE'S NO TIME!"
** "It's not great..." (When Pat complains about something)
** Pronouncing any English word that normally ends in "''-ation''" to sound like it ends in the Spanish "''-ación!''"[[note]]Yes, always with the exclamation mark.[[/note]] (ex. "Operacion!","Investigacion!"). The exception to this is the word "Revelation", which will ''always'' [[TypoOnTheCover be pronounced]] "[[VideoGame/ResidentEvilRevelations Re-va-LAY-uh-ton]]".
** ''"Remember that time when..."'' which is oft followed by some hideous factoid about a character from a game they're playing.
** "WAITTT A MINUTE!"
** "BAT-TER-Y!"
** "Do it ''doucement''," - which the Best Friends actively admit is stolen from Film/TrueLies. Both say it, but it's become more of a Matt thing.
** "He/She/They love(s) it!"
** "Sha-Blams!" Usually used sarcastically... either dully stating the phrase while doing something badass, or shouting the phrase enthusiastically while doing something mundane. Lifted from [[WebVideo/RedLetterMedia Mr. Plinkett's movie reviews]], of which the Best Friends are fans.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Early series and every time he feels like goofing around, pretending Zach is the murderer of Liam even though Liam is fine.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Usually associated with Blue or Black, or [[PatrioticFervor Red White and Blue]] as a color scheme.
* TheDitz: Matt's naivete ranges from simply being misinformed, to childlike, to whatever brain-dribbling-out-his-ears stupidity was going through his head during ''VideoGame/Portal2''.
** CharacterizationMarchesOn: Matt tended to be really stupid in earlier episodes, often having trouble with understanding the basics of how a game works. This was toned down to more believable levels of stupid in later seasons. It's also been outright confirmed that his stupidity in the Machinima episodes is scripted; while he and the other Best Friends talk about stupid shit in their LP's, there's little to none of the kind of humour making up the Machinima episodes.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Male or female, he'll comment on their appeal.
* EagleLand: Type 1, even though he's Canadian. May have something to do with [[EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas his mom being American]].
* EpicFail: He's got a few of these under his belt - [[VideoGame/SilentHillDownpour Accidentally throwing the Fire Axe down a bottomless pit]] is probably the most well-known.
* {{Fanboy}}: To ComicBook/ThePunisher, [[Series/ManVsWild Bear Grylls]], ''VideoGame/MetalGear'', Creator/EmmaStone, and Hitomi J-Cup.
* GenreSavvy: More than he lets on. Especially prevalent in the ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDead'' Let's Play.
* HiddenDepths: It's mentioned that he went to art school, and it shows on occasion, usually for the sake of a joke. His Website/DeviantArt page is still [[http://the-switcher.deviantart.com/ up]], though he doesn't use it anymore.
-->'''Matt:''' ''(on VideoGame/EarthDefenseForce2017)'' You could play this game on a plasma TV and hang it in the Guggenheim.\
'''Pat:''' Where the hell is the Guggenheim?
** He's also surprisingly knowledgeable about literature and Greek and Roman culture.
** He speaks French fluently, though Pat only brings it up partially as an insult due to it causing Matt to mispronounce some English words.
* IconicOutfit: His black [[ComicBook/ThePunisher Punisher Skull]] beanie, to the point that [=PlagueOfGripes=]' fan videos will try to include Matt wearing some semblance of it in any interpretation, such as on a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHcJyfi8A-0 judge's wig]] or a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQa-rnV-OBM regular skull when he looks like a caveman]].
* KindheartedCatLover: His pet cat Zach, whom he "Instantly fell in love with", tends to brings out his softer side. He cares for him so much that he opted to just move out of his old apartment instead of getting rid of him when his landlady wanted Zach out.
* KnowWhenToFoldEm: In wrestling games, three-player matches can frequently devolve into a stalemate due to it being impossible for one player to pin another without the third player interrupting it. When a 3P match has gone on for long enough, Matt will just surrender so someone can actually win.
* LemonyNarrator: As he is the one who edits the videos, all the text on-screen is from him, and generally either snark or exposition that's ridiculous bias toward himself.
* NeverLiveItDown: [[invoked]] The other three Best Friends will never let down the time he threw an axe down a chasm in ''VideoGame/SilentHillDownpour''.
* NightmareFetishist: Finds the idea of a woman with a Gianna Michaels (pornstar) body with [[Franchise/MortalKombat Scorpion]]'s [[FlamingSkulls head]] very appealing.
* NWordPrivileges: Has blurted the word out under his breath once during the ''VideoGame/MadWorld'' LP accidentally, but other than that, he often censors himself when quoting rap lyrics.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: Possibly. While he does seem more naive and prone to simple mistakes than Pat, there are times where he proves he knows just as much trivia/info about whatever game as [[{{Fanboy}} Pat]] does about Franchise/ResidentEvil:
-->'''Viewer:''' Why is Matt the smart one now?
-->'''Matt:''' I always was, we just never had a game that proved it before.
* ObliquelyObfuscatedOccupation: Averted after time. While vague at first, as the Best Friends became more accustomed to their new fanbase, it was revealed Matt's job prior to the Zaibatsu was quality assurance for companies including Ubisoft and Eidos, and he mentions doing translation work for a Franchise/DragonBall game where he managed to sneak in an "[[Memes/DragonBall over 9000]]" joke. He's also detailed that he worked as a lead tester for ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes'', later the subject of a full LP, where he notably submitted the list of violent and sexual content to the ESRB. In another he mentions testing a ''VideoGame/RainbowSix'' game, and ''VideoGame/DeusExHumanRevolution'' (which was actually the subject of an early Two Best Friends Play episode). He also briefly worked as a tester on the ''VideoGame/TombRaider2013'' reboot, acting as a placeholder VA for multiplayer. Perhaps most importantly, the bonds with the other Best Friends besides Pat (as well as Matt's fiancée) were forged during these roles.
* RedOniBlueOni: Is the more laid-back BlueOni when compared to Pat; even his [[ColorCodedForYourConvenience associated colors]] tie in. Meanwhile in playthroughs with Woolie or Liam he tends to be the more rambunctious RedOni.
* ShipperOnDeck: For Auron and Lulu of ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyX''. From the first moment Auron asks Lulu to brief him on the status of Yuna's pilgrimage, Matt began loudly declaring how perfect the two cool, [[TheStoic stoic]] badasses would be together. The fact that Lulu's eventual beau, [[TheChewToy Wakka]], is the LP's primary target for mockery certainly helps.
* StunnedSilence: Whenever Pat says something particularly creepy or offensive.
* TooSpicyForYogSothoth: When they first played ''Slender'', he wasn't scared of him at all. Over the time between that and them playing ''VideoGame/SlenderTheArrival'', he watched ''WebVideo/MarbleHornets'' (the entire reason Pat was so scared in the first place) and admitted at the beginning of the video that he was now just as scared as Pat was. That being said, he still fares a lot better than Pat during the game.
* VerbalTic:
** Has a habit of adding "though" to the end of his words when it makes no sense (for example, "Shut up, though!").
** He does the same thing with "even" ("shut up, even!") and he and Woolie share the phrase "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" when they're excited.
** Ever since the month-long RustleMania event several years ago, Matt is utterly incapable of saying the word "wrestle" correctly in lieu of "rustle".
* VideoGamePerversityPotential: Frequently tries to position the camera to look up female characters' skirts. Furthermore, if given the opportunity, he'll strip down just about any character to their skivvies.
* YourMom: Rather fond of these jokes, which bothers Pat because Pat's mom watches some of the videos and he gets to hear her thoughts on such jokes. Namely that she thinks they're [[ActuallyPrettyFunny hilarious]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Pat]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/patsbfp_3929.jpg]]
The second of the Two Best Friends. Pat appears in the main series, most of the full Let's Plays, and the Super Best Friends Brawls. Pat's original role was the angry knowledgeable straight man opposite Matt, and as the series settled into a groove, he's... pretty much still the angry one. Often declared to have had "no childhood" because he grew up on the Sega Genesis. Also plays a lot of [=RPGs=] that Matt didn't.

He has his own channel: ''WebVideo/PatStaresAt''.
----
* AfraidOfNeedles: He's avoiding syringes whenever he can due to his fear of getting infected with HIV/AIDS.
* TheAlcoholic: Full of more than a few drinking stories, and is seen downing an entire bottle of wine by himself while watching ''Film/SamuraiCop.''
* {{Angrish}}: When his temper cracks especially hard, Pat will sometimes devolve into aimless sputtering and cursing.
* BerserkButton: Several, including Jackson Pollock, [[Franchise/MarvelUniverse Ego the Living Planet]], ''Film/FaceOff'', ''WesternAnimation/StreetSharks'' and Creator/JohnLeguizamo (to the point where he jokes of an "X days since bashing Leguizamo" clock).
** To him, [[TreacheryIsASpecialKindOfEvil the absolute worst kind of people]] are LesCollaborateurs. He threw [[VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonTwo Reggie]] under the bus because of it, and spent the ''entirety'' of ''VideoGame/XCOM2'' ragging on Woolie for admitting that he would side with the aliens [[TranshumanTreachery in exchange for superpowers]].
** Pat also seems to despise ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosMelee'' and the community around it, as his rants in the podcast have shown.
* BiggerIsBetterInBed: Paige says that the only reason she puts up with Pat is because of his huge wiener.
* BlackAndWhiteInsanity: He makes a point of discussing this trope during the ''VideoGame/TormentumDarkSorrow'' playthrough as a side effect of games with a binary KarmaMeter. Once he decides he's going for the bad ending, he does not hesitate to do bad things as there's no reason [[ThenLetMeBeEvil to not be the evilest son of a bitch around]].
%%* ButtMonkey: During the "Super Amazing Friends" monthly special.
* CatchPhrase: Has quite a few of his own:
** [[BlatantLies "It's fine!"]]
** "See ya later, Fuckers!"
** "Eat it, shitlords!"
** "[[PreAssKickingOneLiner 'Sup Nerds!]]"
** "[You] Know/See what I mean? Perfect!"
** For the ''VideoGame/DarkSouls2'' playthrough: "Drop your shield!". It has become a RunningGag to mock Pat with that phrase, which never fails to piss him off.
** ''VideoGame/TheEvilWithin'' granted us "Excuse me!".
** "You did it!" and "Congratulations" for the ''VideoGame/DarkSoulsI'' LP.
** "Don't talk to me about (Insert Thing)!"
** "This is (Insert Thing) porn."
** "Hello" whenever his character bumbles into a shady scene.
** The ''VideoGame/GodOfWarPS4'' playthrough sees Pat coin "X go ''up'', but Y go ''down''", originating from his obsessive min-maxing of the Strength stat and automatic disapproval of any equipment that doesn't contribute to this build. It spills over to the ''VideoGame/DetroitBecomeHuman'' LP, where a variation is used whenever a character's approval goes up or down.
* CelebrityResemblance: His resemblance to Creator/LouisCK is hard to ignore.
* CloudCuckoolander: For starters, he thinks prison yards should have monkey bars.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Always associated with [[FieryRedhead Red]].
* CountryMatters: Pat is the only one in the Zaibatsu who drops the C-word.
* CurbStompBattle: The ''VideoGame/AnarchyReigns'' and ''VideoGame/PerfectDark'' Brawls end with Pat utterly trashing Matt and Woolie.
** Anything that involves ButtonMashing. Specifically mashing one button repeatedly, as opposed to randomly mashing buttons on a controller. He even lampshades it when [[spoiler:the final battle of ''VideoGame/AWayOut'']] culminates with a button mashing contest [[spoiler:against [[DuelingPlayerCharacters Woolie]]]].
--->'''Pat:''' This is very unfortunate for you.
** On the opposite end of the spectrum, he had a lot of trouble keeping up with Matt and Woolie in ''VideoGame/MarioKart'', often starting each race spinning out of control due to [[HoistByHisOwnPetard button mashing]] before the start of each race (and don't even get us started on how far he fell behind on Rainbow Road). Not a straight case, however, as he did randomly win one race and came close to winning another (before ending up in 3rd again at the last second).
** He can pretty much destroy any lower-level player at ''[[VideoGame/StreetFighterIII 3rd Strike]]'' effortlessly, as shown in his escapades on XBL.
* CutenessProximity: Pat ''really'' loves dogs. He once said in the podcast that he's incapable of staying angry when in the presence of a friendly dog. And he tends to melt in any interaction he has with his girlfriend's cat, Elmo.
* DayInTheLimelight: ''Pat Stares at Mercenary Kings'' has him going solo while ''Pat Stares at Japan'' chronicles snippets of his trip to Japan with his girlfriend.
%%* DefrostingIceKing: Though he is still kind of a jerk, he is noticeably a lot nicer in later videos.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Pat frequently states he would do ''anything'' to [[ImmortalitySeeker live forever]], highlighting he'd gladly [[AndIMustScream spend eternity as a toilet]] in the ''VideoGame/{{SOMA}}'' LP and idolizing Orochimaru's BodySurf jutsu. However, he specifies in the ''VideoGame/XCOM2'' LP that the one line he wouldn't cross in pursuit of immortality would be to betray his homeland and side with an invading evil organization, considering LesCollaborateurs [[TreacheryIsASpecialKindOfEvil the worst type of scum]].
* FanBoy:
** Of [[Franchise/MortalKombat Reptile]] and {{Invisibility}} in general.
** Also of tank controls and most of the SurvivalHorror genre. Most notably the ''Franchise/SilentHill'' and ''Franchise/ResidentEvil'' franchises.
** He also seems to be a fan of Playstation consoles and, like Matt, the ''VideoGame/MetalGear'' series.
** Have you played ''VideoGame/{{Xenogears}}''?
** He's ''huge'' on the ''Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei'' series, and specially the ''Franchise/{{Persona}}'' sub-series; to the point where he got Woolie into it as well. However, in recent times even he has begun to grow tired of Atlus's [[invoked]][[AdoredByTheNetwork constant shilling]] of ''Persona 3'' and ''Persona 4'', especially in regards to ''Persona Q''.
* FieryRedhead: Zig-zagged. In almost all of his videos, he's very bad-tempered. In a few other videos, like his work with ''Did You Know Gaming'' and his Top Ten Lists, he's far more sedate, to the point where fans [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness comment heavily upon it]].
* FriendToAllChildren: He may act like he hates them, but Pat will usually pick choices that benefit children. He admitted to saving Duck in his run through of ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDead'', treats Sarah kindly, adores Clementine, and in ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'', he [[spoiler: actually starts to appreciates Ellie and gets angry at the idea of her dying in order to cure humanity]]. He displays a ton of PapaWolf tendencies even if he doesn't want to admit it.
* FullNameUltimatum: The only people who ever called him Patrick were his teachers, so his full name makes him "feel like a little boy".
* GenreSavvy: Correctly predicts a number of events in ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs''.
* GoodIsNotNice: In games with choices that will test your morality, Pat will generally choose the morally right ones. Doesn't do much to quell some of his {{Jerkass}} tendencies though.
* HiddenDepths: He mentions while playing ''VideoGame/IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream'' that he [[IMinoredInTropology has a degree in psychology]], making him very aware and sensitive towards a number of social issues and when games play into them, especially mental health issues. As ''[[VideoGame/{{Fahrenheit}} Indigo Prophecy]]'' showed, he and Woolie are well aware of how much society stigmatizes and misunderstands the mentally ill. Pat went far enough to say that their treatment is comparable to racism. He's very impressed with ''VideoGame/MurderedSoulSuspect'''s inoffensive portrayal of a mental hospital and the people in it.
** Despite his usual vitriol, he does go into very in-depth discussions regarding the ''VideoGame/MetalGear'' series and its storytelling aspects.
** His knowledge of Norse Mythology kept him a step ahead in their playthrough of ''VideoGame/GodOfWarPS4'', like how he correctly guessed that the Stranger is Baldur and how mistletoe could break his curse.
* HotBlooded: Known for his tendency to get really passionate and angry sometimes.
* InstantlyProvenWrong: This is a bit of a RunningGag with Pat, where he will say things about a game during a video and the game will demonstrate that he's incorrect. This has happened so frequently that it is believed that Pat has a [[Manga/JojosBizarreAdventure Stand]] named "Crazy Talk"[[note]]Named for the Chilliwack song of the same name[[/note]]. It has a higher chance of activating the more confident Pat is about something. The Stand is believed to have moved onto an "ACT 2" state after a [[https://youtu.be/KyYgU80o7qw?t=18m8s particular moment]] in the VideoGame/TheEvilWithin2 LP. This makes moments where he's entirely ''right'' about something all the rarer, which is joked in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSNLKQvImIk the comments to his Smash Bros Melee rant]] as his Stand evolving into Crazy Talk Requiem if he's pissed enough about a topic.
* InsufferableGenius: Pat is both the most well informed member of the group when it comes to gameplay minutia as well as behind-the-scenes development drama, and also by far the most willing to behave like an asshole and do so proudly.
* JerkAss: Pat is incredibly belligerent towards Matt. Matt has pointed out that he has made choices in games that Pat made fun of, then took the other option in similar choices and also got made fun of. Pat gleefully agreed.
--> '''Pat:''' You're talking to somebody who litters for amusement.
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Sometimes, when he's not deriding him, Pat will help Matt out when he's stuck in a game.
*** During their ''VideoGame/DemonsSouls'' playthrough [[SpecialGuest with A German Spy]], Pat notes that while he freely insults Plague Of Gripes, he just feels bad when he does the same thing to [[NiceGuy Spy]].
* {{Keet}}: While "cutesy" is perhaps a stretch, Pat is the smallest yet also the most openly passionate about video games, as evidenced by his high pitched squeals concerning certain topics.
* LaughingMad: When he gets hit by an especially big scare, Pat often lapses into terrified giggling for a few minutes afterword.
* LimitedWardrobe: You'd be hard-pressed to find a picture of him in something other than a green polo shirt and khakis.
* MistakenNationality: Because he's short, red-headed, and named Patrick people tend to assume he's Irish and make a lot of jokes about him being a leprechaun, something Liam brings up in their LP of ''VideoGame/BarkleyShutUpandJamGaiden''.
* MisanthropeSupreme: Played for laughs but Pat mentions that if he ever got 2 million dollars, he'll just disappear since he is rich enough to never have to deal with people ever again.
* TheNapoleon: The shortest (5'3) and the most aggressive of the "Super Friends".
* NeverLiveItDown: [[invoked]] [[EasyModeMockery Unlocking Easy Mode]] in ''VideoGame/DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening'' was a massive source of mockery for him in the last few months of the channel.
* NWordPrivileges: Has only used them while quoting Woolie, but has entered lengthy discussions with him over his permission to have them or not.
* ObsessivelyOrganized: Multiple segments of the podcast have been dedicated to dissecting Pat's "Mind Goblins". Among other things, he seems to have a lot of weird habits regarding toothbrushing and making his bed, and the others will often mock him by telling him something in his apartment is dirty or out of place. He obsessively manages save files and the inventory in [=RPGs=] and says (and shows) that it irritates him when the amount of consumables in his inventory is not a multiple of five. See the bug story in the podcast for the best example of this. During the ''VideoGame/{{Bloodborne}}'' LP he claimed he would delete the save file they used after the LP is over because he wants to play again on his own ''but hates the idea of his save being listed second''. And in the video for ''Avengers: Battle for Earth'', Liam stops Pat's trolling by rubbing his hand down the TV screen, [[OhCrap Matt and Woolie freak out]], Liam laughs. Pat? [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness Dead.]] [[TranquilFury Silent.]]
--> '''Pat:''' Woolie, if you fucking shaved your hair, I think I will have a nervous breakdown.* OneHourWorkWeek: Subverted. He was was able to quit his original job of packing groceries, [[SoulSuckingRetailJob which he is very open about hating]], because of how well the series has taken off, giving him more free time to do other things like making silly videos. However, he has also stated that despite the fact that creating an LP seems like the easiest thing in the world, it can take several hours of work to chop up several hours of gameplay and make sure everything works. Nowadays he gets by via frequently streaming himself playing games.
* PapaWolf:
** Easily the most paternal of the best friends, though he tries to hide it. He turns completely sadistic when Ellie is taken from him in ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'', despite trying to distance himself from her by calling her names.
** And let's not forget how he treated [[VideoGame/TheWalkingDead Clementine]]. He genuinely likes her and pushed Matt to pick options that benefited her well-being.
* PaperTiger: Is more prone to crying than Matt is, but also seems to scare more easily than Matt despite being a survival horror fan.
* TheParanoiac: He doesn't go to the barber because he fears they might slit his throat or spit in his hair (ignoring his girlfriend and friend pointing out there is a mirror in front of him to see what he is doing) and freaks out to the idea of someone customizing his food differently than a regular customer. The others also must never tell him they saw a hobo entering their office otherwise he'll ask them to burn the place.
-->'''Woolie:''' Because the chef might not be a big fan?
-->'''Pat:''' No, he might be a poisoner.
* PickyEater: In addition to his other traits, he refuses to eat salad with dressing and his girlfriend notes on twitter that he never eats anything with ''fiber''. This has lead to him contracting Gout, notably [[LaserGuidedKarma after mocking people with scurvy.]]
* SitcomArchnemesis: [[VideoGame/DeadlyPremonition Quint]].
* RedOniBlueOni: Is the most cantankerous partner out of all four, and thus always plays the RedOni with the other three. Ironically, he becomes the BlueOni to Paige's RedOni during her streams, consistently being the more level-headed of the two of them.
* RedheadInGreen: Is frequently dressed in green in promotional material. Matt thinks this combined with his short height makes him a leprechaun.
* SirSwearsALot: None of them are shy about swearing, but Pat easily does it the most.
* SoulSuckingRetailJob: Unlike the other three, who work or have worked in game Q&A, Pat's previous employment was mostly retail and he is vocally happy that the channel had done well enough for him to have quit his day job.
-->''The most important skill you learn in retail is how not to [[GoingPostal stab people]].''
* ThatCameOutWrong: Several times!
-->'''Pat:''' I'm [[ShoutOut One-inch punching]] your mom!\
'''Pat:''' I'm wet and ready to go!
** He also had a slip up when watching ''VideoGame/MortalKombat9'' where he remarked that two of the characters would have a "hot kid", only realizing later (after getting made fun of by Matt and Woolie) how wrong it sounded.
*** Funnily enough, he made a similar comment during the LP of ''VideoGame/HeavyRain'', where he commented that Creator/LeonardoDiCaprio and Marion Cotillard's characters in ''Film/{{Inception}}'' had hot kids, as opposed to Matt, who said they were "divine".
* TokenWhite: In Friendcast episode 179, which featured Kenny and Steve from LetsPlay/YoVideogames, with Matt on a break from the channel and Liam gone for good, Pat became the sole non-black host of [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Ghettosyncs: The Darkcast]]. This trope was acknowledged by the guys immediately, with Pat making the comparison to the gay porno, "Poor Little White Boy".
* TooAwesomeToUse: Another of his Mind Goblins; Pat is loath to use any healing items on the basis that he might need them later.
* TookALevelInKindness: In earlier videos when trying to play up their personalities, he was much more loud, rude, and inappropriate, even throwing around offensive slurs such as "fag". He stopped with that attitude relatively quickly though, and in later videos and podcasts makes it clear that he is a firm supporter for feminism and LGBT rights.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: He practically lives on a diet of Red Bull.
* TreacheryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Loathes {{Dirty Coward}}s, LesCollaborateurs and anyone else who would betray their friends/homeland in return for safety or kickbacks. In ''VideoGame/TheWalkingDeadSeasonTwo'', Pat quickly comes to despise Reggie for being a [[StockholmSyndrome fearful apologist]] for [[ArcVillain Carver]], while in the ''VideoGame/XCOM2'' playthrough he gives Woolie no end of grief for displaying an inclination towards TranshumanTreachery.
* VerbalTic:
** Has a habit of slipping into a mild Creator/ChristopherWalken accent that sometimes seems unintentional.
** Eh?
** "You know what I mean?" and "Perfect!" seem to be slipping into this during his ''VideoGame/DarkSoulsII'' playthrough with Woolie. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9-ua4nZHT8 In compilation form!]]
** His voice will suddenly increase in pitch when he's angry/scared/excited.
* WrongNameOutburst: Pat has called Liam and Woolie "Matt" after they screwed up repeatedly while playing ''{{VideoGame/Deception}}'' and ''VideoGame/DarkSoulsII''.
** He once was talking so intensely to Liam about the Vita during a podcast that ''he accidentally called him "Vita."''
* YoungerThanTheyLook: From appearances, one might guess Pat's the oldest member of the Zaibatsu, but he's actually ''younger'' than Matt by 4 years.

[[folder:Woolie]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/new_woolie15.jpg]]
The third of the Super Best Friends. Woolie is an actual fighting game competitor and has attended EVO and several other competitions. Naturally, his knowledge extends largely into fighting games, but he also is well versed in the old school games. Manages the Super Best Friendcast and the Mailbag before it was retired.

He has his own channel: ''WebVideo/WoolieVersus''.
----
* AcCENTUponTheWrongSylLABle: Pronounces the word "Covetous" as "kuh-VITCH-ious", due to the way his grandmother said it, and is unable to break the habit.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: PlayedForLaughs with Daigo Umehara[[note]](who [[OnceDoneNeverForgotten notoriously]] beat Woolie [[CurbstompBattle 2-0]] in the very first match of [=EVO=] 2012)[[/note]], Brennan Williams/[=GreatBlackOtaku=][[note]](nicknamed "Better Woolie" and jokingly regarded as Woolie's EvilCounterpart)[[/note]], and Octopimp[[note]](who [[CurbstompBattle destroyed Woolie 5-1]] in ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear -STRIVE-'' in front of Creator/DaisukeIshiwatari)[[/note]].
* AnimalsHateHim: Just when he was healed from poisonous ant bites, a bee stung him. The rest of his friends directly declared that to be the animal's revenge.
* AsTheGoodBookSays: Due to his very religious mother, he can quote the Bible at times.
-->'''Woolie:''' Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast. ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them. under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6. I just fucking bibled, didn't I? I didn't mean to.
* AscendedExtra: First appeared as the unnamed "other guy" in the ''VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3'' video, and didn't make an actual named appearance in the Machinima episodes until the ''Series/GameOfThrones'' episode.
* BerserkButton:
** He does not like being called [[ThatLiarLies a liar]]. Naturally, Matt and Pat call him a liar frequently and say he said things that are untrue. It seems to have tuned down over time though; one podcast has him mention that he's almost amused that since he knows it's false, anyone who repeats the joke themselves becomes the real liar for spreading it.
** Thieves and theft in general. Highlighted particularly in Episode 50 of the ''Super Best Friend Cast'', where he refers to them as "cunts of the highest order," for the fact that his girlfriend's bike had been recently stolen. This stems from his childhood when his Atomic Purple Game Boy Color was stolen from him.
*** Following on that thread, he deeply hates shows and games that rip off other things, spending most of the ''WesternAnimation/BikerMiceFromMars'' episode complaining about how it was a ripoff of ''Franchise/TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles'', [[invoked]][[FollowTheLeader like so many other shows at that time]].
*** This also plays into his dislike of [[Creator/QuanticDream David Cage]], particularly in the ''VideoGame/BeyondTwoSouls'' LP, where he repeatedly found many of the plot developments hackneyed and derivative of better games and stories. He even called a major PlotTwist after Matt told him something like it had been done in a previous project, reasoning that it would have been easier for Cage to rip it off than come up with something original.
** Woolie hates [[ThirdActMisunderstanding the trope where characters in a story don't just talk to each other to clear up a misunderstanding when they have evidence or easily can in order for there to be a conflict forced into the plot.]]
** He also hates ''Toys/FunkoPop'' figures. Naturally, [[TheGadfly Matt and Liam]] hid a lot of them in his apartment, and he is ''still finding them'' much to his frustration. His reaction to a Funko Pop themed ''Gears of War'' spin-off was, unsurprisingly, disgust.
** Woolie is disgusted by a very specific and blatant use of PlotArmour: Armed soldiers in the middle of enacting an indiscriminate purge conveniently trying to take main characters prisoner [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim instead of killing them on the spot like everyone else]]. When [[spoiler:both ''Series/{{Westworld}}'' and ''VideoGame/DetroitBecomeHuman'']] employ the trope in this exact style, it's enough to launch Woolie into a frothing rant on the subject.
** Woolie has a strong hatred of ''Anime/MobileSuitGundamSeed'', with an episode of the Friendcast having him go on a lengthy and angry tirade on the show when a fan letter brought it up. Naturally, he was later gifted a complete series box set of ''Seed'' in a mailbag episode, with a letter calling it “[[SarcasmMode Woolie’s favorite anime]]”.
* TheBigGuy: The largest of the Best Friends at a little over 6 feet tall, and is noted to be quite strong. He was a football player in highschool and shook down kids who tried opening his locker. [[NoodleIncident It has been joked that he killed a guy in a game of football]].
* BlueOni: Tends to be the calmer partner in [=LP=]s with Matt or Pat.
* BriefAccentImitation: Speaks in near-perfect Jamaican patois on occasion during the ''VideoGame/PredatorConcreteJungle'' playthrough.
* ButtMonkey:
** 2013 has seen Woolie receive a lot of abuse when he's not around. When Matt and Pat went to E3, they specifically had members of the industry address the camera, telling Woolie how horrible he was.
** Matt got a photo of Creator/JessicaNigri with her signing it with "Woolie, you're still an ass poop balls. Jessica Nigri".
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: When he was first introduced, he was the posterboy of the typical FGC (fighting game community) player, caring only how things relate to fighting games and what's 'hype' at the time. Now... well that's technically still true, but he's shown himself to be knowledgeable in many different fields of study, and despite his competitive attitude is one of the most level-headed members of the group.
* ChasteHero: "I'd pick VideoGame/MarvelVsCapcom3 over sex with two bisexual women".
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Loves green, and usually uses green palettes for his characters when given the opportunity. If required to pick a second color, it will usually be [[PurpleIsPowerful purple]].
** Was lampshaded in the second episode of the ''VideoGame/EternalDarkness'' playthrough, where Matt and Pat note that if Woolie were there, he would have chosen Xel'lotath's artifact, purely because it was green.
* CripplingOverspecialization: He's only really good at fighting games.
** Add onto that retro point-n-click adventure games, being able to beat ''VideoGame/IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream'' on his own before even Plague did (who managed to nearly finish his run before Pat and Woolie's dual playthrough even started).
* CatchPhrase[=/=]TrashTalk: Poo-Babbies. Used repeatedly during one of the Old-School Playthroughs, to the point that Matt complained to Pat about it.
** He stopped using it after a while. He must have heard the complaints.
** "Kill me or die, one of the two!"
** "Death is the only true freedom!"
** [[HeroicSecondWind "Losing is winning!"]]
*** "'Hold that L' means 'hold that lesson'."
** "You didn't win! ''You didn't win''!" as a way of pettily taking away an opponent's victory.
** "What was your plan, sir?" said when [[ArtificialStupidity a character in a game does something stupid.]]
** A distracted "That's correct," usually in response to BlatantLies from one of the other boys.
** He also tends to exclaim "YEYEYE" when he gets really excited.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: He does not like eggs, to the point that he briefly refused to play a segment in ''VideoGame/HeavyRain'' that required him to cook eggs, until settling for cooking them for a second.
--> '''Woolie:''' Why does [David] Cage assume that everyone wants eggs?
--> '''Pat:''' [[SuddenlyShouting Because everyone wants eggs, Woolie!]]
--> '''Woolie:''' Everyone ''clearly'' does not want eggs! (has Shelby turn the stove off) Fuck you!
* DrowningMySorrows: When he started the ''WesternAnimation/{{Reboot}}'' [=LP=] he was drinking liquor to get through (one of his drink was Chartreuse, a 40-55% alcohol by volume). He stopped because while it is [=LPing=] on easy mode it was kind a bad habit.
--> '''Woolie:'''Sometime it's better just crack the bottle, put it to your lip and whisper: Easy operation.
* {{Egopolis}}: Not himself, but his grandfather apparently owned a wealthy land estate in UsefulNotes/{{Jamaica}} known as Maddentown. The rest of the Zaibatsu joke that Woolie should find the location where Maddentown once stood, reclaim it, and populate it entirely with members of his TangledFamilyTree.
* EmbarrassingFirstName: The ''VideoGame/DarkSouls'' playthrough reveals that Woolie's original given name was [[spoiler:"''Darlington''"]], with "Woolsworth" coming later.
* FailureHero: The most consistent RunningGag about him is his constant failure. [[AlwaysSomeoneBetter Losing to Daigo]] is brought up most, but Pat and Matt play up every other time he's lost as well.
* FanBoy: Of [[Manga/{{Berserk}} Casca]] (and [[BoyishShortHair short-haired tomboys]] in general) as well as [[VideoGame/DevilMayCry Vergil]].
* TheHeart: Following the breakup of the Zaibatsu, Woolie is the only one of the crew who is still good friends with everyone else, with his efforts keeping the channel afloat until the very end.
* HiddenDepths: He's surprisingly knowledgeable on the topic of [[Creator/HarlanEllison Harlan Ellison]] and his works, as evidenced in the ''VideoGame/IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream'' playthrough.
** He apparently speaks a bit of Greek, and told Pat it's not a particularly hard language to learn.
* IDontKnowMortalKombat: He claims to have RealLife experience in collecting coconuts, and thinks that will help him with the coconut collection minigame from ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle''. He's quickly proven wrong.
* LesCollaborateurs[=/=]TranshumanTreachery:
** Becomes a RunningGag during the playthrough of ''VideoGame/XCOM2'', where Woolie keeps trying to find the upsides of [[VichyEarth humanity being conquered by an alien empire]], like futuristic technology or (when he learns about the aliens' unethical experiments) genetic augmentation. The other three spend the entire playthrough raking him over the coals and [[OriginalPositionFallacy pointing out all the ways his collaboration would backfire]].
** Refined in the podcast after the one-off episode covering ''Valley'' -- while the ''XCOM 2'' playthrough had him merely express misguided optimism for "Slavery, But Jetpacks", ''Valley'' produced the idea that Woolie would [[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder sell out anyone and anything]] for a device that [[DoubleJump gives him vertical momentum.]]
---> '''Woolie:''' If I could [[PoweredByAForsakenChild sacrifice a chipmunk]] for a super jump, and every jump required a single chipmunk, you'd have to convince me not to.
* MadnessMantra: Develops a deadpan one in the latter chapters of ''VideoGame/OmikronTheNomadSoul'', and randomly injects it into his dialogue:
-->[[DespairEventHorizon "I'm gonna kill everybody,]] [[DrivenToSuicide and then myself."]]
* NoodleIncident:
** He's "ruined seven Christmases, and saved four", according to one of the ''Super Best Friends Brawl'' intros.
** And as for the made up incidents, there's the pie stealing, the time he killed that guy in football...
* MistakenForForeigner: He has noted on the podcast that, as a black person in Montreal, people sometimes assume he's an immigrant. Conversely, he's also remarked that because of his Canadian accent, black people in the U.S. and Central America sometimes mistake him for a white dude when just hearing his voice without seeing his face.
* NormalFishInATinyPond: He's in good shape and a couple of inches taller than the North American average, but looks absolutely huge standing next to Matt and Pat, who have been self-described as "hobbits". He's mentioned that when people meet him in person he often gets ExpectingSomeoneTaller because of this.
* NoSenseOfDirection: Confused left and right sometimes. Exaggerated by [[https://youtu.be/rp1dFF3XJMI?t=422 Liam]].
* NWordPrivileges: He usually uses the word in a joking context, or to actively make fun of the N-Word slinging stereotypes he and Matt usually encounter in games played for ''Cryme Tyme''.
** Invoked hilariously in one of the ''VideoGame/FinalFight'' playthroughs where he and Matt [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext reimagine Geese Howard as Will Ferrell's version of Robert Goulet]], and Woolie actively uses the word whereas Matt stops short of using it.
** Sneaked into the description of the last episode of their ''VideoGame/Inside2016'' playthrough.
** He's more lax about using the word around Reggie, given that they're both black and very good friends to boot.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Averted: "Woolie" isn't a nickname but his actual birth name, and the ''VideoGame/DarkSouls2'' LP reveals that his mother first wanted to call him [[spoiler:Darlington Madden]].
* OnlyOneName: Was for a long time the only member to avert this. That is, until an [[http://business.financialpost.com/2014/02/03/how-machinima-and-youtube-helped-montreals-matt-and-pat-live-the-gamers-dream/?__lsa=c21a-6fcb article from Financial Post]] revealed Matt and Pat's last names, and Liam uses his real name on Twitter.
* OnlySaneMan: He's calmer than Pat and less prone to doing idiotic things than Matt.
* SacrificedBasicSkillForAwesomeTraining: If stories of his childhood are to be believed, life in Grenada taught him [[HomemadeInventions how to build a rubber band gun out of popsicle sticks]] but not [[YourOtherLeft the difference between right and left]]. (Matt and Pat have both mentioned having to get used to the nautical terms as a result.)
* SoreLoser: Not really, but he likes to play up that angle with the facetious "you didn't win!" remarks. He ''is'', however, [[UnsportsmanlikeGloating a bit of a]] [[InvertedTrope sore winner]].
* TangledFamilyTree:
** And ''how''. In the podcasts, Woolie reveals that he and his family did some research on their history, and discovered that each successive generation has had [[ReallyGetsAround a track-record for having tons and tons of children]]. The earliest example given is his grandfather, who not only had several children with Woolie's grandmother, but also had several children with her sister's friend and [[invoked]][[{{Squick}} her sister's friend's daughter]]. Based on speculation and death certificates, Woolie has at least fifteen half-uncles and half-aunts from that side of the family ''alone.''
** Woolie also reveals that, while he and various family members had been discussing these discoveries, a CoincidentalBroadcast started showing a public plea from someone (identifying himself as a Madden) looking for his biological father. Woolie's uncle [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial immediately demanded that the television be turned off, insisting that the guy on air was just running a money scam, and that the uncle had no idea who he was.]]
** Another story Woolie divulges in the same podcast comes from a cousin who had picked up a girl from a bar for a one-night stand. However, before they did anything, one of them name-dropped a relative they realized [[KissingCousins they both shared.]]
** Woolie's bizarre family history is revisited years later in ''Castle Super Beast'' after Woolie takes a trip to Ireland. Irish ancestry and surnames are common in Jamacia and Barbados, and Woolie's family name is eventually traced back to what turns out to be a notorious [[TheClan noble clan]]. This Madden clan -- whose name means "Dog", resulting in the "[=MacMadden=]" surname roughly translating to "Son of the Hound" -- was [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating so despised]] that they were eventually ousted from Ireland in the 17th century, with most of their castle holdings razed to the ground. [[https://www.houseofnames.com/madden-family-crest Their family crest]], Woolie explains, is [[ObviouslyEvil a bird of prey killing another bird on a black field]]. A random Irishman Woolie spoke to ominiously warned him that the Madden history is "a dark, dark past (...) a whole lot of pain", and informed him that, among other things, they were among the first in the country to enact the practice of [[DroitDuSeigneur prima nocta]].
* TooDumbToLive: In ''Scrublords'', he [[spoiler:signs up both him and Matt to a tournament that he didn't know who was running it, was advertised on a note attached to his door written in lambs blood and various organs, and required blood samples in order to enter. The ''Franchise/StarWars'' episode implies that he caused a [[GroundhogDayLoop time loop]] by doing so.]]
* {{Troll}}: According to Pat, After watching ''Anime/GraveOfTheFireflies'', Woolie went and ordered online the candy tin used in the movie. He then ate all of the candy except one on purpose, so that whenever they are watching or mentioning the movie, he can grab the tin and shake it to make everyone hear the rattling. Pat and Matt agree that it's unbelievably fucked up.
* TruthAndLies: Hates liars and being called a liar. This leads Matt to frequently troll him by inventing incriminating stories to make others think Woolie is guilty of lying. (For example, Matt claimed that Woolie boasted off camera about beating ''VideoGame/FinalFight Final Fight Streetwise'', namely its EscortMission, in one sitting. This never happened.)
* WhoNamesTheirKidDude: Woolie (shortened from "Woolsworth") is indeed his real name. He's also stated that he is in fact Woolie Jr. and that his father evidently just wants to share the pain. The ''VideoGame/DarkSouls'' LP, however, revealed that that's just the name his father gave him, and that the rest of the family calls him [[spoiler:Darlington]].

[[folder:Liam]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/liamsbfp_2827.jpg]]
Known to many as "Rising Superstar Liam", as well as the resident otaku of the Super Best friends. He's a relatively recent addition, in a public sense. Known to like the PSP and PS Vita.

He announced in December 2016 that he would be leaving the channel, citing mental health concerns as the primary reason, but he still hangs out with the rest of the Zaibatsu.
----
* TheAce: Known for being especially skilled in gameplay compared to the other three.
** Even before he trolled the [[VideoGame/MetroidFusion SA-X]], the Best Friends joked that when they hand him the controller, they'll be watching the end credits within ten seconds.
** After Woolie said the gym minigames in ''[[VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle No More Heroes 2]]'' were impossible, he handed Liam the controller... and Liam beat them near-flawlessly.
** When Liam lost the multiplayer match of ''Film/PacificRim'', Matt and Woolie make a big deal about it being his first defeat captured on video. They joke that the defeat has, at last, made him a full member of the Best Friends team.
* AscendedExtra: At first was just mentioned by Matt and Pat but started to make his debut in some videos such as the ''VideoGame/MetroidFusion'' playthrough, where fans loved him. Eventually, like Woolie, he would frequently participate in videos along with the others and became a main stay on the podcast.
* BlueOni: Similar to Woolie, he is much calmer than Matt and Pat.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Zig-zagged; he's the youngest by about six years (Matt, Pat, and Woolie were born within two years of each other), but no one seems to genuinely respect him any less. Most of the time this comes up, someone is either exaggerating his youth for the sake of a RunningGag or (half-joking) using it as reason to dismiss his arguments.
* CatchPhrase: A nasally [[VideoGame/StreetFighterII "PERFECT!"]]
** As well as [[TrashTalk Git Gud]].
** [[BlatantLies "It's fine!"]] While everyone in the Zaibatsu uses it, Liam sounds way more confident in saying it's fine even though things are not.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: [[RealMenWearPink Usually Pink]], but when the entire Zaibatsu is represented together [[ChromaticArrangement he usually gets yellow]].
* CommanderContrarian: He does this in the podcast a lot. Primarily because in his own words, he feels that if someone doesn't play devil's advocate, "the others will just circlejerk when it comes to hating on something".
* DeadpanSnarker: Known for it.
--> '''Pat:''' Liam's deadpan delivery cannot be topped.
* EveryoneHasStandards: A good measure if something is truly bad is if [[ThePollyanna Liam]] gives it criticism.
* FanBoy: Is known to be a big fan of ''Manga/KOn'' and generally anything by Creator/KyotoAnimation, though his favorite anime is actually ''VisualNovel/{{Clannad}}''. He also loves ''VideoGame/StreetsOfRage'' with a passion.
* FatalFlaw: Played for laughs with his inability to space jump properly in ''VideoGame/MetroidFusion''.
* TheGadfly:
** Or perhaps [[Main/{{Troll}} The Troll]], if you prefer. Take any game that requires them to work cooperatively. Liam will typically [[http://youtu.be/Brw6O0Txd94?t=15m53s find a way]] to [[http://youtu.be/cUNm816QUOE?t=3m54s ruin everything.]]
** Developed this reputation on the Super Best Friend Podcast in its early years, due to his frequent seemingly contrarian viewpoints for the sake of argumentation.
** Matt has gone on record saying that, aside from the fact that 4 players inevitably causes alliances of 2v2 and loses the free for all aspect, the reason Liam isn't often in ''Super Best Friends Brawl'' is because [[DickDastardlyStopsToCheat he will troll the whole game if he thinks it'll help him eke out a win]].
* HandicappedBadass: Has aggressive wrist damage from playing too much ''VideoGame/KidIcarusUprising''. Doesn't stop him from being the best gamer of the group.
* HiddenDepths: Pat mentioned on the ''VideoGame/TheLastOfUs'' playthrough that Liam is knowledgeable about guns and hunting and has allegedly killed "hundreds of deer". Both Matt and Pat agreed that it was a "weird revelation".
--> '''Pat:''' Okay Liam; you're too moe '''and''' too manly.
* InSeriesNickname: Matt and Woolie jokingly call him "Rising Superstar Liam" at the beginning of the ''VideoGame/MetroidFusion'' playthrough. The fandom latched onto that, but "Liam-sama" is also becoming popular. "Rising Superstar Liam" would eventually become his [[AscendedMeme long-term username]] after leaving the team to do streaming solo.
* LeeroyJenkins: Liam has a tendency to "Jump the gun". This is especially evident in the ''VideoGame/MetalGearSolidVThePhantomPain'' playthrough, where he's failed multiple missions through deciding to try and cut the knot, many of which backfire, such as attempting to get information out of a target's subordinate. The subordinate doesn't know anything, and because he doesn't show up, his superior gets suspicious and leaves in a helicopter, making Liam fail the mission.
* {{Leitmotif}}:
** The theme of the Bizarre Jelly 5, the MagicalGirl [[ShowWithinAShow anime within a game]] from ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle'' would be used for his intro in live action bits.
** As of the 2014 Halloween Special, Wrestling/JohnCena's theme from the WWE. This despite (or more likely, because of) his complete unfamiliarity with wrestling. This has been [[RunningGag followed up]] with the theme becoming Liam's ringtone, as well as his wrestling persona being "[=UnCENAble=]".
* LooksLikeJesus: Liam growing out his beard in combination with his already neck-length hair has led to the fans joking that Liam is the second coming of Jesus Christ.
%%* MadnessMantra: Gets several whilst playing ''VideoGame/Outlast'' on his twitch channel.
* NoodleIncident: Just what the hell is he under house arrest for, anyway?[[labelnote:Answer]]Nothing, because this was just a joke that none of the guys expected to catch on.[[/labelnote]]
* NWordPrivileges: Debatably has them, as he's used the word in the ''Manga/AstroBoy'' and ''Videogame/StarFoxAdventures'' series with nobody batting an eye. Both with Woolie present, although he did apparently catch Woolie off-guard when he said it, causing him to spit take and laugh. It should be noted that he only tends to say it if Woolie's used it first, as in the ''Star Fox'' example; and it does not look like he realized he used the nickname of the Cloudrunners.
* OccidentalOtaku: If the others' jabs about him during the ''[[VideoGame/PlaystationAllStarsBattleRoyale Playstation All Stars]]'' episode are to be taken seriously.
** In ''VideoGame/MetroidFusion'', Matt and Woolie reference Liam's interest in Japanese television shows as well.
** ''Super Best Friends Brawl: VideoGame/MarioKart'' says everything he likes is [[invoked]]"{{Moe}} as fuck."
** In ''VideoGame/NoMoreHeroes2DesperateStruggle'', Liam makes his triumphant entrance with an anime girl body pillow in hand.
** In ''[=WWE2K14=]'', he makes his apartment entrance to a song that can only be described as, "Mooooe!~'
** Though as Pat said in an episode of the Friendcast, "the secret is all 4 of us are actually gigantic weeaboos", so it's not just Liam.
* ThePollyanna: The most optimistic and hopeful of the best friends, which combined with his tolerance for all games, even mediocre ones, has come to the point when, on any occasion he describes something negatively, it's treated as a minor disturbance in the way of the world.
* PrettyBoy: Is often said by the other friends to be very handsome. Particular because while the other Best Friends are all stout with beards, Liam is thinner, younger, and clean-shaven with long-ish hair. This would later change as Liam would eventually grow his own facial hair out (nicknamed "Punished Liam" by the others).
* TheScapegoat: Matt, Woolie, and even Liam himself say to blame him for anything that goes wrong.
** Though he does take credit for winning the tag match in ''[[VideoGame/PlaystationAllStarsBattleRoyale Playstation All Stars]]'', by killing both Matt and Pat after Woolie gets killed.
* SinkOrSwimMentor: He's often mocked for being this ''by accident'': even if he's good at a game, his advice tends to be so uselessly vague that everyone else summarizes it as "get good".
* SupremeChef: If the food he made during the final [[VideoGame/PokemonRedAndBlue Nuzlocke]] run is any indication. (One item of which was a pepper stuffed with meat from a deer his dad hunted.)
* TagalongKid: PlayedForLaughs as he's not really a kid, but he is treated like one of these by the other 3 because he's the youngest. He sometimes plays along with it, lying about his age and feigning ignorance about major events in the past by saying he wasn't born at the time. He's really in his early twenties for most of his time there.
** When putting his [[VideoGame/MetalGearSolidVThePhantomPain birthday in]], Matt supplies the year as "2005." That would make Liam ''10'' at the time of the video.
* TaxidermyIsCreepy: As an avid hunter he doesn't subscribe to this line of thought, but Matt and Pat naturally rib him over it. He has several mounted deer head at home.
* TrashTalk: Cuts two legitimately great promos as Un[[Wrestling/JohnCena Cena]]ble during Rustlemania 2.
* VerbalTic: Much like Pat, "Eh?"
* WeirdAside: As Pat notes, he'll frequently chime in mid-conversation with something incredibly disturbing, [[{{Troll}} deliberately timing]] it in such a way that it can't be edited out.

[[folder:Zach]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/iputd0p.jpg]]

Matt's pet Angora cat. He was originally a stray cat until he was taken in by a friend of Matt's, who then gave it to him because she couldn't take care of him. Matt has a real soft spot for him, and his name was chosen by the fans.

Sadly however he has [[https://twitter.com/MattMcMuscles/status/1274129155433484288?s=20 peacefully passed away]], due to his age having caught up to him.
----
* AffectionateNickname: 'Sweet Baby' by Matt.
* AudienceParticipation: A poll was put up to decide his name, and eventually Zach won. Zach is a character from VideoGame/DeadlyPremonition.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: Killed [[spoiler: Liam]] in the Halloween party video.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: White, rounding out the [[ColorCodedCharacters color theme]].
* CutenessProximity: Tends to invoke this, especially with Matt.
* MoralityPet: Downplayed with Matt. While he isn't a BAD person, Zach brings out his much more sensitive side.
** Played straight with Woolie, however: animals despise him and he hates them back, but he absolutely loves Zach.
* TeamPet: Is treated in the logo as a pet mascot.
[[/folder]]

!!Associates
[[folder:James Small]]
A former co-worker of Matt and Woolie's who is frequently mentioned by all of the Zaibatsu.

* ButtMonkey: Matt and Pat both make jabs at him constantly due to his weirdness and taste in games. One of the main things they mention is that he completely hates the Platform/PlayStation2 and regards the Platform/SegaDreamcast as the greatest console ever made. When he finally appears on the podcast, Pat thinks James would have been ''fully justified'' in physically assaulting any of them.
* EveryoneHasStandards: He does not like ''VideoGame/NeverDead''.
--> ''James Small, willing to defend ''VideoGame/MindJack'' and other assorted pieces of garbage, plays ''VideoGame/NeverDead'' and says, "It's not very good." ''
* FullNameBasis
* TheGhost: Deliberately [[InvokedTrope invoked by]] Pat, who says he likes the idea of him never appearing. However he finally shows up in Episode 97 of the Super Best Friendscast as a guest, then in video during the 2015 [=E3=] videos.
* IAmVeryBritish: Whenever Matt or Pat mock him, they tend to do so in a Cockney accent. Oddly, when they first talked about him they mention that he's from Portugal.
* InVinoVeritas: He mentions [[WhatDidIDoLastNight finding out]] "Drunk James" doing a variety of strange things, like pulling pranks on ''himself'' (like hiding shoes inside tinfoil wrap inside an oven) and [[DrunkenMaster getting a perfect score on game, which he found nigh-impossible to do normally]].
* MeaningfulName: Well, seeing as how Matt and Pat [[IncrediblyLamePun belittle]] him...
* VitriolicBestBuds: When James finally makes an appearance on the podcast, it becomes clear that he's actually on good terms with the Best Friends.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Dork Girl]]
Technically three different girls, although generally the term refers to the "Main Dork Girl", the Dork Girls are mysterious friends to the group. Two of them were the toads in the Mario Brother Wii U video and the main Dork Girl made her first "official" appearance in an early episode of the podcast, as well as cosplaying the [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask postman]] in the Matt & Liam's Bomb-Ass Zelda Orchestra Symphony Tour.
----
* TheGhost: Unlike the main four, they are never seen onscreen.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Their real names are never given, and are only known as "Dork Girl".
* YaoiFangirl: According to the podcast they are into yaoi.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Billy/Minh]]
Another friend of the group who's made several cameos and background appearances in several live action videos, most notably appearing in multiple Fighterpedia episodes, as well as driving the [[RunningGag Shame Car]] at the end of the VideoGame/DiveKick mini tournament. He's known for his love of self-imposed challenges, insane driving, and thick Vietnamese accent, [[TheVoiceless not that you would ever hear it]]. Became the group's video editor after Liam's exodus. After the group's split he would do more [=LPs=] with Woolie for [[WebVideo/WoolieVersus the latter's channel]].
----
* AscendedExtra: Following Liam's leaving the channel and Matt's sabbatical he was hired on as a video editor for the Best Friends. Minh later joined the ''Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2'' Let's Play on ''WebVideo/WoolieVersus'', establishing the channel's trio (alongside Reggie) and becoming its primary video editor.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: According to Pat, he once went 120 mph with three other people asleep in the car while listening to the ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'' soundtrack to keep from nodding off, all to avoid paying an extra day on the rental car.
* FamousAncestor: His grandfather is [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tr%C3%ACnh_Minh_Th%E1%BA%BF Trình Minh Thế]], an important military leader during the first Indochina war. He always feels uncomfortable when people start talking about genealogy and the power of lineage, because he is nowhere as successful as his ancestor.
* OlderThanTheyLook: He's 47 as of 2022, but due to his rather youthful looks and {{Keet}} demeanor people assume he's half that age.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Billy isn't his real name, but people still refer to him as such, alongside his real name, Minh. Became phased out by the time he joined ''Woolie Versus'', where he is credited exclusively by his real name in all his appearances.
* PunnyName: Minh T. This played into a few of his gamertags like "Minh T. Green T." or "Minh T. Fresh".
* SelfImposedChallenge: Woolie and Liam note that Billy likes to play games in the most difficult way possible.[[invoked]]
** Inverted for [=RPGs=] apparently (although it could be argued otherwise). Woolie claims that Minh likes to level up to 99 as early as possible before moving forward in the plot, so he'll feel overpowered and breeze through. Although it's a challenge in itself to go to level 99 before even doing the first quest in Final Fantasy XV is one hell of a challenge.
* TheVoiceless: For years Billy's shtick was that he never spoke on camera. He still hasn't, but he did make a guest appearance on episode 98 of the podcast [[Awesome/TwoBestFriendsPlay and he made it count.]]
-->"I'm [[PrecisionFStrike fucking]] good."
** [[spoiler:Finally speaks in the "Naruto: The Broken Bond" LP to explain how Shenron's wishing system works and conclude that Tenten sucks before leaving.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Reggie]]
Woolie's friend who is a prominent figure in Montreal's FGC community. He is usually the second man in Woolie's [=LPs=] and streams.
----
* ButtMonkey: On the podcast, Woolie has described perpetually throwing Reggie under the bus as one of his tasks on the show.
* {{Fanboy}}: Of Hideki Naganuma and the video games his music is featured in, such as ''VideoGame/JetSetRadio'' and ''VideoGame/LethalLeague''.
* NWordPrivileges: He's not shy about using them at any time.
* PerverseSexualLust: He fell completely head over heels for VideoGame/{{Bayonetta}}, due to her ticking a lot of his boxes.
* RunningGag: When he says something [[ThatCameOutWrong that could be taken the wrong way]], it frequently gets added to his supposed list of fetishes. Most notably, Woolie and the viewers tend to claim he's a foot fetishist or a [[LikesOlderWomen gerontophile]].
* TheSmartGuy: He often brings up interesting trivia about the game he and Woolie are playing at the moment.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Paige]]
Pat's girlfriend (later wife) and an aspiring voice actress from Chicago, she is a constant presence on Pat's Twitter and occasionally streams alongside him. Also known as [[Podcast/TheDickShow Peach Saliva]].
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: On several occasions during her ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'' playthrough, she managed to blindly stumble into unconventional puzzle solutions, sometimes not even realizing that she had solved a puzzle.
** She also conquered the most difficult QTE/button-hold sequence in Heavy Rain and was only told this ''after'' the fact.
** Another achievement in her collection is slaughtering [[VideoGame/{{Bloodborne}} Ebriatas]] in little over one minute without even understanding the mechanics of the fight, much to Pat's shock.
* BizarreTasteInFood: She's eaten straight mustard on stream. Multiple times. Also once got into a shouting match with Pat during one of her Periscope streams after he offered her a ham and cheese sandwich and she declared she would have "just the ham."
* ButNotTooForeign: Paige may not look like it, but she's actually half-Lebanese on her father's side.
* DeadpanSnarker: Her zingers are as stingy as Liam's.
* FieryRedhead: While not as volatile as Pat, Paige has some temper of her own.
* TheGhost: First appeared as a voice in the ''VideoGame/{{NieR}}'' LP before streaming ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXV'' with Pat.
* InelegantBlubbering: During her playthrough of ''VideoGame/{{Undertale}}'', the sadness of the Genocide ending caused her to break down in tears and temporarily shut off the stream until she recovered.
* LikeAnOldMarriedCouple: Despite not being married (until 2021), people note this dynamic between Pat and Paige.
-->'''{{WebVideo/Super Bunnyhop}}:''' How do you have a girlfriend? Do you just tell her how much you hate her all the time?\
'''Pat:''' She is ''exactly'' the same as I am. ''Exactly.'' Oh, I hate her guts so ''much.'' It's the best.
* MistakenForProstitute: Often enough that it's become a running joke about her having to [[XDaysSince "reset the clock"]] when this happens.
* MusclesAreMeaningless: Despite having well-toned muscles, she is apparently quite feeble.
-->'''Paige:''' It's a gun-''show'', not a gun-''do''.
* NightmareFetishist: On more than one occasion, she has professed her interest in skeletons and even implied [[ILoveTheDead she wouldn't even mind having sex with one]].
* ObliviousToHisOwnDescription: In her ''Undertale'' playthrough, Paige is incredulous that Undyne sent a love letter to Alphys, asking why an attractive redhead would be interested in a short, overweight nerd. [[InsultFriendlyFire Pat happens to be sitting next to her at the time.]]
-->'''Pat:''' ...Hey.\
'''Paige:''' What? ''(belated realization)'' Oh, ''don't'', that's not--! Stop it. That's not-- That's different. ''(looks at the Twitch chat exploding with mockery)'' Oh my fucking god, ooooh... Why is everyone mad, though!?
* RefusalOfTheCall: She was once asked about her interest in officially joining the Super Best Friends. She immediately turned down the idea.
* StealthHiBye: Has a tendency to move so quietly that she ends up startling Pat during streams -- sometimes deliberately, sometimes just when trying to say hello or deliver food -- which their fans have taken to calling the "white woman [[JumpScare jumpscare]]". It happens so regularly that sometimes Pat will [[NervousWreck flinch and shriek reflexively at nothing, expecting Paige to be there]].
* TinyGuyHugeGirl: Pat and her. She has stated that she's more attracted to short guys. Like her ''CelebCrush'' [[WebVideo/RedLetterMedia Rich Evans.]] In truth however it's less that she's tall so much as she's only tall compared to Pat.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Mustard, to the point she's able to chug bottles of it.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Leana/Crymetina]]
Matt's wife who has Italian relatives referred to as the "Pizza-Pasta Force". She occasionally streams alongside Matt.
----
* ComicalOverreacting: She almost has a nervous breakdown upon witnessing Voldo's garish ''[[VideoGame/SoulSeries Soulcalibur V]]'' outfit, starting [[OhCrap the moment she sees his character-selection artwork]].
* TheFashionista: She's got her own series critiquing the outfits video game characters wear.
* ReallyGetsAround: According to her, she did in college.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:2Snacks]]
The series' most prominent animator, his work mainly being used for the intros to Machinima episodes. He also animates 'Fun-Time Adventures' and 'Two Best Sisters Play'. Aside from his interest for My Little Pony and being from Brazil, not much is known about him.
----
* AscendedFanboy: He originally just did 'Two Best Sisters Play' until the Best Friends recognized his work and commissioned him to do the intro animations to their Machinima episodes. He even gets more in-touch with them as they provide voice acting for 'Fun-Time Adventures'.
* TheGhost: Never heard from, never seen on camera, his name, interests, job and appearance are all a mystery. All we know is he can draw, he's from Brazil and he loves ponies.
** He has appeared on the podcast as of episode 261, though his face was obscured on the stream.
* MasqueradingAsTheUnseen: Actually had this done to him by someone who was going around impersonating him at cons. Doing Panels.
* RealMenWearPink: He's a brony.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:PlagueOfGripes]]
One of the series main animators along with 2Snacks. He's notable for living on a farm, having a taste for West Coast Hip-Hop and being terrifying. A member of the supposed [[PsychoRangers Ustabiaz]], where he's their version of Pat. His Website/YouTube and Website/DeviantArt channels can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0PaoSxEK2nEmO-Mtk2vGWA here]] and [[http://gannadene.deviantart.com/ here]].
----
* AscendedFanboy: Like 2Snacks, he was once a fan animator until he was eventually recognized by the Best Friends themselves and was commissioned to do intro art/animations for their videos, eventually becoming friends with the group. There are even tentative plans to fly him up to Canada to participate in some videos.
* TheCameo: Finally managed to [[spoiler:invade Woolsworth in episode 52 of the ''VideoGame/DarkSouls2'' LP.]]
** He makes a live-action appearance in [[spoiler:the fifth episode of Rustlemania II.]]
** He is the most frequent podcast guest.
* ChainmailBikini: Notably averted. Plague draws a lot of cheesecake and boobs, but when he draws a woman in armor, the armor is actually useful.
* CompassionateCritic: He notes that his eponymous "[[CausticCritic Gripes]]" don't come from spite, but rather when he complains about something it's usually because he likes it and wants to see it improve.
* CuteMonsterGirl: In September 2016, he jokingly said that he considered and decided against [[invoked]][[SelfImposedChallenge drawing one monster girl every day]] for the month of October. [[DidntThinkThisThrough He did it anyway]].
* FanArt: His Website/DeviantArt page is full of [[{{Fanservice}} lewd drawings]] of female characters from a variety of shows, including ''WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil'', ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'', ''WesternAnimation/SWATKats'', ''Anime/DragonBallZ'', and ''Franchise/{{Splatoon}}''. As one commenter on the Art Gripe of his Hekapoo drawing stated,
-->A [[CuteMonsterGirl monster-y]] looking girl appears on a [[WesternAnimation/StarVsTheForcesOfEvil children's cartoon]], and [[TheInternetIsForPorn the internet]] turns expectantly towards Plague.
* TheGadfly: Plague's ''raison d'etre.'' Almost always involving disgusting animal facts. Pat once described a conversation between them going perfectly normal until apropos of nothing Plague started bombarding him with articles about [[NightmareFuel cannibal horses]].
* HiddenDepths: Disgusting knowledge of animal facts? Interest in the odd and frightening? Drawing {{Fan Service}}-y and slightly perverted images? Check, the side of Eli people tend to see. A surprisingly detailed three part series based around the how-to of writing and one on horror, with instructions on how to do them properly? Helps Woolie become a {{Film/Predator}} through donating fully leveled Mad Warrior gear? Deep, highly intelligent and honest monologues that dip into the human condition and what it means to be a person? Check, the side of Eli displayed though his Let's Gripe, Let's Plague, and Tri-Fusion videos.
** He majored in literature in college and planned on becoming an author before his drawing and animation careers took off.
* HillbillyHorrors: The Best Friends jokingly invoke this trope most times they mention him, usually throwing in some reference to The Yellow King cult in ''Series/TrueDetective'' (despite Plague living in Kentucky rather than Louisiana).
* JumpScare: [[spoiler: An amusing side effect of some latency issues during his ''VideoGame/DarkSoulsII'' invasion had him apparently {{Flash Step}}ping directly into the camera]] while Woolie was looking through a set of binoculars.
* LazyArtist: He claims to be this.
* LetsPlay: While not his primary content, he makes a few of these, titled [[{{Pun}} Let's Plagues]]. Specifically, he has let's plays of ''Defenders of the Oasis'' (Game Gear), ''VideoGame/IHaveNoMouthAndIMustScream'' (PC), ''VideoGame/{{Starsiege}}'' (PC), and a long and analytical let's play of ''VideoGame/DarkSouls''. His ''VideoGame/DarkSouls2'' let's (not) play is moreso a record of his attempts to invade Woolie while he was recording.
* LonersAreFreaks: Mentions never having had many friends as a child, as other kids found him weird and creepy.
* LongLostRelative: Pat once joked that he and Plague were actually twins seperated at birth after Matt & Woolie noted their similarities in the ''WWE'13'' vid (bald, bearded, angry and red-headed (although Plague's eventually darkened into brown)).
* LongRunner: His Let's Plague of ''VideoGame/DarkSouls'' lasts about 60 hours, and ran for a full year before he completed it.
* NightmareFetishist: To the point of writing and animating a three-part series on the nature of horror fiction. He has gone on record saying that if he ever dies, he wants his corpse to be immaculately preserved with a permanent SlasherSmile on his face, and to be buried in a coffin with a window to show his head.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: Whenever anything disturbing comes up and the Woolie Hole isn't mentioned, expect Plague to be referenced instead.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: For a long time until he let his real name (Eli) slip. Although he's still almost always just referred to as Plague.
* PerpetualFrowner: To the point that he claims to be unable to physically smile.
* PhraseCatcher: "[[TheGadfly Fucking]] [[TooMuchInformation Plague]]..."
* PrematurelyBald: Was thought to be this until he revealed on a stream with Pat and [=GermanSpy=] that he actually shaves his head. The revelation of this causes Pat to temporarily lose his mind.
* {{Realism}}: He claims that his primary design philosophy (in both writing and art) is that everything should have logical and realistic consequences. ''Especially'' if it lets him draw his [[CuteMonsterGirl Cute Monster Girls]] ''even more'' lewdly. Interestingly averts RealIsBrown.
* TheSociopath: It's a running for the Best Friends to refer to him as one jokingly.
* SurrealHumor: Often has this in his animations.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: He was 33 in 2014, but looks grizzled and balding enough that Pat joked on the Nuzlocke stream (Plague's birthday) that he had just turned 45.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Cranky Construct]]
A fanimator for the Best Friends and a member of the supposed [[PsychoRangers Ustabiaz]], where he's their version of Liam.
----
* AnimalMotifs: A black and red bear. He even wears an animal onesie (kigurumi) of it.
* AscendedFanboy: [[RuleOfThree For the third time]], like 2Snacks and Plague, Cranky only did fanimations for the Best Friends on his own time before being commissioned by them. His initial contribution was the intro for the Pokemon Leafgreen Nuzlocke; fittingly, his very first TBFP fanimation revolved around [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman a podcast conversation about eating Pokemon]]. He recently flew up to not only meet the guys at Montreal Comic Con 2015, but also participate in some of their videos alongside them, with Matt even having him stay over at his place for the few days he was there.
* {{Expy}}: His Ustabiaz persona at Magfest has shades of Wrestling/BrayWyatt, with Takahata 101 referring to him as a god, and claiming that while Liam loves his waifu, Cranky crafts waifus.
* PuniPlush: He draws his characters in a cutesy fashion.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Indonesian Bob]]
A mildly infamous fan artist known for his... [[DerangedAnimation unique]] art style and his taste for the weird.
----
* DerangedAnimation: His specialty.
* NonindicativeName: Not actually Indonesian apparently.
* PhraseCatcher: "Bob! Draw that!" and variations thereof whenever someone describes something suitably bizarre.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Clemps]]
A British Youtuber who rose to popularity covering the works of Creator/YokoTaro. Clemps has been on the Friendcast and has had Paige, Matt, and Pat over on his own podcast, Coffee with Clemps. During his trip to North America he and Pat did a short LP of VideoGame/DissidiaFinalFantasy2015. He can be found [[https://www.youtube.com/user/MrClemps here]].
----
* ConspicuousGloves: One of his trademarks are the yellow kitchen gloves he wears in his video. He jokes that he couldn't get them past Airport security when he flew down to visit.
[[/folder]]

!!Zaibatsu Wrestling Federation

[[folder:Zubaz]]
[[quoteright:163:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/the_baz_neutral_4402.png]]
->[[AStormIsComing Can you feel the storm?! It's coming...]]

Zubaz, AKA "The Baz", was a scrapped character concept from ''VideoGame/StreetFighterII''. Born under a blood red moon, little is known about this mysterious warrior, but heaven help those who dare to challenge him...
----
* AscendedExtra: While he was originally just one of several rejected designs spotlighted in the first episode of ''Fighterpedia'', he went on to be referenced in every episode of the show, as well as make cameos in other videos like ''Super Best Friends Brawl'' and ''Two Best Friends Funtime Adventures''. Now he's actually going on to make appearances in multiple video games the Best Friends have backed via crowdfunding, including playable appearances in ''VideoGame/{{Divekick}}'' and ''VideoGame/KaijuCombat'', and as a special boss in ''VideoGame/ShovelKnight'' and ''Pocket Rumble'', as well as becoming a member of the ''WebAnimation/VideoGameChampionshipWrestling'' roster.
* BigBad: Is set up as this during the Zaibatsu Live Pay-Per-View, as the leader of the {{Heel}} Stable "The Order of the Storm Feelers."
* HumongousMecha: The basis for one in ''VideoGame/KaijuCombat''.
* MultipleChoicePast: Since much of him is being made up as the best friends go, he may be anything from a storm god to a wrestler to an ex-luchador and anything in between.
** We can kind of infer his past, assuming that jokes that are made and his appearances as custom characters are "canon". After being rejected, he became a luchador, but was dishonored in a two-on-one match. He now seems to be determined to become the best at any sporting event or game that will let him in, although his primary job seems to be a [[ProfessionalWrestling wrestler]].
* ShockAndAwe: Is often portrayed with electric powers. They don't call him ''The Storm'' for nothing.
* SmallNameBigEgo: According to Woolie, one of his main traits is that he thinks he's a cool badass, but is actually pretty garbage. This is [[{{Foil}} directly contrasted]] with Rage, who is a legitimate badass, but doesn't necessarily care about his own hype.
* SoreLoser: He doesn't take rejection well in most of his appearances.
* WeaponSpecialization: Never seen without his rope whip in hand, which he uses as his primary weapon.
* WrestlingDoesntPay: [[InvertedTrope Inverted.]] In the WWE '13 Brawl, the Best Friends claim he's wrestling to earn money to build his HumongousMecha for ''VideoGame/KaijuCombat''.
* WritingAroundTrademarks: Usually just called "The Baz" or just "Baz" in his various official video game appearances, to prevent copyright conflicts with the clothing brand.

[[folder:Rage of Africa]]
[[quoteright:188:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tumblr_nhasu6pja61tonn9ho1_250_8931.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:250:He doesn't need to look at the watch because the time of the day is always ARMAGEDDON!]]

--> "Once upon a time there was a [[ScaryBlackMan big black man.]] He was ''[[AngryBlackManStereotype really]]'' [[AngryBlackManStereotype angry]]."

An original character first invented by Woolie's brother, now given life and form in Matt and Woolie's ''[[VideoGame/DefJamSeries Def Jam: Fight for NY]]'' playthrough. He's gone on to appear in several episodes, particularly in games that feature a character-creation system.

Rage is a timeless embodiment of what it truly means to be black: [[AngryBlackManStereotype Picking fights and being angry at everything, all the time]]. He exists only to prove his strength and destroy all who dare challenge him.
----
* AngryBlackManStereotype: The aptly named "Rage of Africa" is this stereotype as a shonen style anti-hero, drawing supernatural power from his UnstoppableRage.
* AntiHero: While his lore paints him as a villain (or NominalHero at best), Rage being a player character means he's usually railroaded into saving the day, and by the end of ''Def Jam'' he even gets some positive CharacterDevelopment. This tendency culminates in Rage becoming the BigGood of the Zaibatsu Wrestling Federation, ousting Zubaz and his gang of {{Heel}}s and founding a {{Face}} stable in their place.
* AnthropomorphicPersonification: Of [[ScaryBlackMan Scary Black Men]] and and the AngryBlackManStereotype, according to Woolie.
* AlwaysABiggerFish: The ''Super Best Friends Boxing'' opening has Zubaz destroy all four of the Best Friends with one punch, then Rage in turn beats Zubaz just as quickly.
* ArchEnemy: [[PrettyFlyForAWhiteGuy Bless]], to the point where Matt and Woolie have Rage pulverize him as [[PostFinalBoss a post-story victory lap]].
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: In ''VideoGame/SaintsRowGatOutOfHell'' Rage has become the God-Emperor of the Universe.
* BaldOfEvil: Normally, though his "Shin Rage" form subverts this by sporting golden dreadlocks.
--> '''Woolie:''' He is ''BALD!'' He is ''[[HeroicBuild BIG]]'' and ''[[ScaryBlackMan BLACK]]'' and ''BALD!''
* BigGood: Astonishingly, he is this during the Zaibatsu Live Pay-Per-View, seeking to undo the reign of terror of [[{{Heel}} Zubaz and the Order of the Storm Feelers]]. He goes on to found the {{Face}} stable "Rage World Order."
%%* TheBerserker
* BloodKnight: He cares not about money or fame, only to be the strongest.
* BornAsAnAdult: According to Woolie he "Crawled out of a mountain somewhere".
* CatchPhrase: Of all the in-game victory phrases, he tends to repeat the "freight train" line the most.
--> '''Rage:''' That freight train that hit you? That was ''me!''
** He would also like you to shine his shoes, even though he never wears any.
* ChainedByFashion: [[RobotMe Ragebot]] in ''Real Steel'' is decked out in chains.
* CombatPragmatist: Bottles? Lead pipes? Sledgehammers? Everything's fair game to Rage. That said, he still prefers to settle things with his bare hands.
* TheComicallySerious: Rage lives only to be angry and destroy others and simply cannot understand anything else, so his attempts to comprehend things such as flirting, money, rap music and even basic human emotions are all hilarious.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: As an ancient physical manifestation of anger and hatred, Rage is incapable of really understanding concepts like "love" and "mercy". Discovering a measure of compassion for his allies serves as a form of ad-hoc CharacterDevelopment during ''Def Jam: Fight for New York''.
* ExpansionPackPast: Every single Def Jam video adds more "facts" to Rage's feats of strength, even when they contradict his established characterization.
* FormerlyFat: He was "[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Fat Rage]]" in his Backyard Wrestling days.
* GoldenSuperMode: ''Shin Rage''. He not only has his pants turn red with the blood of his enemies, but he also manages to spontaneously grow golden dreads.
* {{Hell}}: The ''Ready 2 Rumble'' video lists his hometown as Hell[[spoiler:, Missouri[[labelnote:*]]Or Michigan, depending on if you go by what Woolie said or the abbreviation he put down (MI).[[/labelnote]]]].
* HotBloodedSideburns: During his stint in [[VideoGame/NBA2K the NBA]], he sports a pair of truly magnificent sideburns... And no other hair on his head!
* HumanoidAbomination: As the lore around him develops, Rage becomes a supernatural personification of the AngryBlackManStereotype, having existed since "forever" and holding few-to-no interests beyond anger, combat and destruction.
* MonochromaticEyes: He's supposed to have pure white, [[GlowingEyesOfDoom glowing eyes]] but the ''Def Jam'' character creator could only manage [[IcyBlueEyes a very pale blue]]. It manages to have a similar effect, [[http://youtu.be/Lry0SYYkvas?t=12m40s giving him one hell of a]] KubrickStare.
** RedEyesTakeWarning: In ''VideoGame/MortalKombatArmageddon''.
* MythologyGag: Rage was actually mentioned almost 2 years before the ''Def Jam'' playthrough, when Matt casually brought him up to Pat as "this character Woolie's brother made for every fighting game".
* NoIndoorVoice: Especially in Matt and Woolie's "impressions" of him.
* PermaStubble: In ''Def Jam'', Rage has a barely-noticeable 5 o'clock shadow.
* PrefersGoingBarefoot: Shoes are for ''the weak''. However, [[CatchPhrase he'd still like you to shine them for him]] after he destroys you.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: His black kung-fu pants and red belt, combined with his appearance as a ScaryBlackMan [[TattooedCrook covered in black tattoos]], call this trope to mind. As [[SuperMode "Shin Rage"]], the color scheme is inverted, giving him blood red gloves and pants with a black belt. [[RobotMe Ragebot]] in ''Real Steel'' is also painted in bright red and black.
* RobotMe: After the failure of [[JokeCharacter Budmanbot]] in ''Real Steel'', Matt and Woolie instead create a robot based on Rage. They later decide that Ragebot ''is'' Rage, having converted himself into a KillerRobot so he could destroy his enemies more efficiently.
--> '''Matt:''' Rage was like, "I'm not beating up enough people; I need to turn myself into a robot!"
* ScaryBlackMan: The better part of his gimmick in a nutshell. Rage is a mountain of a man rippling with muscle and [[AngryBlackManStereotype barely-contained fury]].
* ScreamingWarrior: Particularly when he's about to use his LimitBreak.
* SkeleBot9000: Ragebot, sporting a shiny black SkullForAHead.
* TattooedCrook: Over time he gains an impressive display of 2000s-style tribal tattoos, which carry over to later appearances in one form or another. As "Shin Rage", his body is almost completely covered in them.
* TimeAbyss: His approximate age is somewhere in the range of "forever".
* UnskilledButStrong: While Rage is certainly ''capable'' of more complex or advanced techniques, he prefers to just throw his strength ([[PunchedAcrossTheRoom and opponent]]) around and [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown brutalize the enemy until they can't move.]]
* UnstoppableRage: His namesake.
* UnsportsmanlikeGloating: Rage is quite eager to express his superiority over any and all defeated foes.
* VillainProtagonist: For his debut in ''Def Jam: Fight for New York''.
* WalkingShirtlessScene: Shirts are for ''the weak''.
* WhatIsThisFeeling: Nothing really seems to bother Rage except for two scenes: One where Blaze rips off his bling (Which makes him understand the feeling of betrayal) and when he rescued Carmen Electra [[spoiler:from the fire]] (Which makes him understand compassion).
* WorthyOpponent: The first person to ever give him pause in ''Def Jam'' is Music/IceT. [[DefeatEqualsFriendship The two of them later team up for a tag tournament.]]
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Wrestling moves are his preferred style of hand-to-hand combat.
** Rage's Go-To is typically a strong grapple. Preferably a Powerbomb.

The wrestling personas for the Zaibatsu, first shown off during Rustlemania 2. Woolie is El Woolio, Pat is Cactus Pat, Matt is The Punishment, and Liam is [=UnCenable=].
----
* ArchEnemy: The LetsPlay/YoVideogames World Order is set up like this.
* ButtMonkey: Cactus Pat and [=UnCenable=] are this during their backstage brawl against El Woolio and Zach The Cat, although [[RunningGag they did manage to get some good hits in, though]]. [=UnCenable=] also serves as this when he takes a four way ass-pounding from the Order of the Storm Feelers at the start of the Pay-Per-View.
* DirtyCoward: The Punishment is definitely this, considering he bailed on his match with Rage before a single punch was thrown. He's this despite being billed as the go-to enforcer for the Order of the Storm Feelers.
* {{Expy}}: All of them are a rip-off of someone or something.
** El Woolio is pretty transparently inspired by Wrestling/ReyMysterio, with Wrestling/RandyOrton's Legend Killer pose and a dash of The Predator thrown in.
** Cactus Pat is a straight up knock-off of Wrestling/MickFoley.
** The Punishment is ComicBook/ThePunisher, and he wears the logo of [[Film/MadMaxFuryRoad Immortan Joe]] as a necklace.
** Three guesses for who Un[[Wrestling/JohnCena Cena]]ble is, first two don't count.
* TheUnintelligible: The only time El Woolio speaks, his voice is interpreted as a Predator-like clicking sound.

[[folder:Chewie & Fuckface (ft. The Shit King & Liam)]]
The shock jock radio host personas of the Zaibatsu. Woolie is Chewie, the main MC; Pat is Fuckface, co-host to Chewie; Matt is The Shit King, patriarch of the Shit Royal Family and Lord of Shit Keep; and Liam is [[AsHimself Liam]].

Originally conceived after a fan misnamed Matt & Pat after seeing them at a convention (calling them Chewie and Matt respectively), it eventually evolved into a running joke that if their LP business ever flops they could go into radio hosting as the Chewie & Fuckface Show. They made their official debut in the intro for Episode 100 of the Friendcast.
----
* IconicItem: You can kill him dead, but you will ''NEVER'' take Chewie's soundboard.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jerry the Predator]]
Jerry is a Film/{{Predator}}, and the star of ''VideoGame/PredatorConcreteJungle'', a game Matt and Woolie play. He is not very good at his job, for the most part...
----
%%* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass
* CloudCuckooLander: Matt and Woolie characterize him like this, suggesting that, while rampaging through his enemies, he's pondering the idea of buying a boat, or trying to remember the names of his high school friends while the Predator he's supposed to be fighting is massacring scientists.
* KlingonPromotion:
--> '''[Predator Playback]''': "I'M THE BOSS OF THIS CITY! [laughs]"
* SilentSnarker: No dialogue of his own, but he manages to amuse Matt & Woolie with his well-timed [[IronicEcho predator playbacks]].
* TookALevelInDumbass: Based on the flashback mission he used to be a pretty good Predator, until he got shot in the face...

[[folder:Pockets]]
Conceived for Woolie and Pat's ''VideoGame/KnightsOfTheOldRepublic'' playthrough, Nevara Chaar (A.K.A [[OnlyKnownByTheirNickname Pockets]]) is a avaricious sociopath whom Woolie sends down the path of dark side point hoarding.
----
* AccidentalHero: As much as Pockets (and by extension, Woolie) wants to keep doing dick moves ForTheEvulz, sometimes she does heroic actions usually created by her apathy of the current situation, as what happen on Kashyyyk. She (and Woolie) gets annoyed usually when it happens.
* AllGaysArePedophiles: A lesbian who takes note of twi'lek girls lower age of consent.
* AxCrazy: Pockets is a vile monster looking to hurt as many people as possible and get paid for it.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Early in ''[=KotoR=]'', Pockets encounters a duros who offers to discreetly dispose of some corpses so the Sith won't investigate the apartment complex the party is using as a hideaway. While Nevara responds in a typically antisocial manner, she later discovers the same duros locked away in Taris' Sith base, awaiting execution for having helped her. Rather than take the obvious Dark Side choice and activate the execution device he's trapped in, [[PetTheDog Pockets decides to help him out entirely for the sake of it]].
* BoyishShortHair: [[AuthorAppeal She was created by Woolie, after all.]] While originally tied to ''[=KotOR=]'' having a selection of fixed character models for the protagonist, future appearances of the character generally have some style of short hair.
* DarkActionGirl: The first female protagonist made by the Best Friends, and she's quite possibly the most reprehensibly villainous of them all.
* DualWielding: Initially with [[CoolSword vibroblades]] in ''[=KotoR=]'', but she later graduates to [[LaserBlade lightsabers]].
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Three quarters of the way through the first episode, Nevara is asked by Carth Onasi to help him save Bastila and the Republic. Her response? [[OnlyInItForTheMoney "You'd better make it worth my while"]]. This one line immediately earns her the nickname "Pockets" from Pat and Woolie, [[VillainProtagonist cements her path as a Dark Side character]], and also serves as an EstablishingSeriesMoment for the entire playthrough.
* EvilMakesYouUgly: As Pockets nosedives down the KarmaMeter in ''Knights of the Old Republic'', her skin and hair desaturate from brown to soot-grey, and she develops TaintedVeins.
* FantasticRacism: Hates pretty much every species she comes across, see PoliticallyIncorrectVillain below.
* FantasticSlur: Throws these out at alien species like hotcakes.
* {{Flanderization}}: Discussed by Pat. Initially, Pockets' greed was more in line with an amoral mercenary, but as the ''[=KotOR=]'' playthrough dragged on and more evil acts were committed, he noticed that jokes about the character were becoming increasingly bizarre, to the point where he was eventually shown fan-art portraying Pockets as [[{{Gonk}} a misshapen gremlin]] holding empty pants out to people and screeching at them to fill the pockets.
* {{Foil}}:
** To fellow black VillainProtagonist Rage of Africa. While Rage performs evil acts out of callousness, pragmatism or [[EvilCannotComprehendGood a simple lack of understanding]], Pockets indulges in acts of genuine, [[NoPointsForNeutrality calculated]] malice for either [[{{Greed}} personal gain]] or [[ForTheEvulz her own amusement]]. Furthermore, while Rage is a supernatural demigod of wrath, Nevara is (give or take plot-mandated Force powers) [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters an ordinary human woman]].
** Pockets is [[WebVideo/WoolieVersus later]] given an intentional foil in ''[=KotoR=] 2'' protagonist [[PunnyName Fann Y'Pak]], a Light Side character who generally sticks to good deeds, [[UnscrupulousHero but will occasionally commit evil acts for "the greater good"]] (i.e. justifiable personal gain or the approval of evil party members). While also motivated by intense greed, Fann is far more [[PragmaticVillainy pragmatic]] about it, unlike the completely psychotic Pockets.
* ForTheEvulz: As Woolie plays her to be a VillainProtagonist of the highest order, Pockets frequently indulges in excessive amounts of cruelty even when she doesn't stand to gain much from it. Even in pure gameplay Woolie tries to make her a horrible person. When Carth says a person they are hunting didn't do anything wrong, Pockets not only starts the battle anyway, but spends turn after turn doing nothing so that Carth is forced to kill the victim himself.
* {{Greed}}: Her overriding motivation is ''averice''. Whenever possible, Pockets will indulge in reprehensible acts to get a tiny bit extra money from an NPC, grab a better offer from a different faction, or to avoid spending more than she absolutely needs to. One of the first things she does upon entering a cantina on Tatooine is to shake down a random bar-goer for cash, just because Woolie saw the option was available.
-->'''Woolie/Pockets:''' "Your honor, may I approach the bench? Your honor... are you suggesting that [my client's] execution directly leads to the lining of my pockets?"
* {{Jerkass}}: Pockets is a greedy jerk at the best of times.
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Pockets occasionally does good things, but they’re all completely by accident.
* LaughablyEvil: All of Pockets’ actions are PlayedForLaughs by the best friends.
* MeaningfulName: "Pockets" is coined to reference Nevara's [[SkewedPriorities absurd greed]], after a bit of ad-libbing from Woolie following her EstablishingCharacterMoment.
-->'''Woolie (As Nevara):''' "I've got [[{{Greed}} deep pockets]], bitch. That's why they call me ''Pockets''."
* MuggingTheMonster: Woolie realizes on Korriban which Sith can and can't feel the Force by who is stupid enough to charge Pockets money for something.
-->'''Pat:''' Less than fifteen seconds.
* NominalHero: There are certain points (most notably the main quest of Kashyyyk) where Pockets ends up choosing the 'good' option for a quest entirely because Woolie figured the reward would be better, or that he didn't want PermanentlyMissableContent to slide by. While this is perfectly in line with Pockets' [[PragmaticVillainy mercenary greed]], the resulting gain of positive points on the KarmaMeter [[NoPointsForNeutrality annoys Woolie to no end]].
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: While her name in ''[=KotoR=]'' is Nevara Chaar, Woolie and Pat only ever refer to her as Pockets after the first episode, and so she is simply identified as Pockets whenever she appears in other games. On multiple different occasions, Pat is confused about what a 'Nevara Chaar' is when other playable characters target her and her real name appears.
* PetTheDog: Freeing the duros for helping her is the only unambiguously kind thing she does.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Pockets rarely hesitates to fling charged insults at various aliens she meets, such as "bug-face" (to a rodian) and "fish head" (to a selkath). It can be also inferred from LP banter that Pockets is prejudiced against twi'leks as well, christening them "[[FantasticSlur lekkies]]".
-->'''Woolie:''' I wonder why it gave me dark side points?\
'''Pat:''' You saw a person and then went "I'm going to murder you, racial slur".
* PsychoLesbian: Because of Woolie's comment on Mission about the Twilek age of consent being lower than that of humans. Many fans and Pat make jokes about Pockets being a [[AllGaysArePedophiles pedophile]].
* ScaryBlackMan: Gender-inverted.
* TheSociopath: Pockets only cares about money and hurting people.
* SociopathicSoldier: Her CharacterClass in ''[=KotoR=]'' is "Soldier", and she's a VillainProtagonist right out the starting gate.
* VillainProtagonist: Of the ''VideoGame/KnightsOfTheOldRepublic'' series, where Woolie resolves to make her as evil as possible right from the start.
