The season focused mainly on the personalities of the teams, allowing it to not only overcome, but thrive despite the biggest production snafu since [[Characters/TheAmazingRaceAllStars2007 All-Stars]], when missed flights and a lost passport pushed half of the teams over ten hours behind the front teams, and a rather boring 2 continent race course outside US. The cast, the numerous dramatic and memorable moments, and one of the most shocking endings in the series all added up to a great season.
