The Character Sheet for the Creator/FreshTV and Creator/{{Nelvana}} series ''WesternAnimation/{{Sixteen}}''.
----
[[foldercontrol]]
!!The Main Six
[[folder:In General]]
* BeautyBrainsAndBrawn:
** Caitlin is the Beauty, Jen is the Brains, and Nikki is the Brawn, although the latter two can interchange.
** As a GenderInvertedTrope, Jude is closely the Beauty, Wyatt is the Brains, and Jonesy is the Brawn.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Played with in "The One with the Cold Sore", where Caitlin's romantic break has her hanging out with Jude, who is a considerable DumbBlonde like her, for quite a while, to which the rest of the gang thought that they're dating with each other throughout the majority of that episode.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: From the girls, Caitlin's the blonde, Nikki's the brunette (further proven by the fact that she's [[PurpleIsTheNewBlack naturally dark-haired]]), and Jen's the redhead.
* BrutalHonesty: They tend not to pull punches when stating their opinions. The only exception is Caitlin, who's generally too nice to count. Caitlin really only pulls no punches when people question her knowledge about fashion or dating, or doubt the magazines.
* ButtMonkey: Not a single episode goes by without one or more of them suffering from some form of slapstick. And that includes the girls.
* ChildhoodFriends: Except for Caitlin (who didn't became part of the group until the pilot episode), the gang has known each other since they were in kindergarten.
* DubNameChange: In the French dub, the gang has different name changes, except Nikki Wong, whose name remains unchanged.
** Jen Masterson becomes "Julie Maréchal."
** Jude Lizowski becomes "Hugo Lisowsky."
** Jonesy Garcia becomes "Costa Rica Garcia."
** Caitlin Cooke becomes "Katherine Cloutier," with her nickname being "Kathy."
** Wyatt Williams becomes "Vincent Williams."
* DumbBlonde: Both Jude and Caitlin, although it's more evident with the former.
* EveryoneHasStandards: They admit to occasionally pocketing free things from the places where they work (''small'' things, like pencils, napkins, and argyle socks), but they're all shocked when Jen steals an expensive jacket from the Penalty Box.
* FiveTokenBand: A Hispanic boy, a white Jewish boy, a black boy, two white girls and an Asian girl.
* {{Flanderization}}: All of their traits got exaggerated over time considering that Jonesy becomes much more of a pervy JerkAss whereas Jude becomes too laidback and mellow SurferDude and Wyatt becomes an even bigger ButtMonkey than before when Serena breaks up with him. In terms of the girls Caitlin becomes an even bigger Ditz who's easily sidetracked by hot guys whereas Jen becomes an even more uptight ControlFreak who spazzes out at the drop of a hat and Nikki becomes an even bigger SnarkKnight who snarks at the drop of a hat even when no one isn't bothering her or her friends.
** A very interesting example of the flanderization is Wyatt's tattoo. In the episode it aired, the gang treated it like a cool thing. Later on, when everyone was more flanderized, it being a simple music note was used against Wyatt for being uptight.
* FreudianTrio:
** Among the guys, Jonesy is the impulsive Id, Wyatt the overly cautious Superego, and Jude the laid back Ego.
** Among the girls, Caitlin is the emotional Id, Jen the overbearing Superego, and Nikki the no-nonsense Ego.
* GenderEqualEnsemble: After Caitlin joins the gang in the first episode, the main cast consists of three girls (Jen, Caitlin and Nikki) and three boys (Jonesy, Wyatt and Jude).
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Again, both Jude and Caitlin, even with their numerous questionable moves throughout the show.
* KindheartedSimpleton: Once more, both Jude and Caitlin, albeit {{downplayed|Trope}}. While they can generally be seen as the least intelligent members of the gang, they are also known to show that much benevolence to others, including their own friends.
* TheLeader: Jen, and sometimes Jonesy, occasionally tend to behave as such for their friends throughout the show, depending on the situation.
* NaughtyIsGood: In general, they tend to be mischievous and sometimes thoughtless, but ultimately good-hearted. They often cause trouble with their various ZanyScheme[=s=] and find themselves butting heads with authority figures (usually Ron the Rent-a-Cop), but are never mean or cruel on purpose.
* NiceMeanAndInBetween: Downplayed. None of the main six is outright malicious, with the "mean" being a JerkWithAHeartOfGold.
** Among the guys, Wyatt is the nice, Jonesy is the "mean", and Jude is the in-between, although both Wyatt and Jude can interchange depending on the situation.
** Among the girls, Caitlin is the nice, Nikki is the "mean", and Jen is the in-between.
* NewJobAsThePlotDemands:
** Jude begins the series working at Stick It until Ron the Rent-a-Cop shuts him down for numerous health code violations, then works for Wayne at Underground Video, then works as a Zamboni driver for the mall skating rink, and finally works at the Gameatorium until the end.
** Wyatt begins at Spin This until he is fired by his ex-girlfriend Serena, then works for Wayne at Underground Video until spilling coffee on a rare cassette, and finally works at Burger [=McFlipsters=] for the rest of the series. Ironically, Wayne would subsequently join Wyatt at Burger [=McFlipsters=] after he closes Underground Video.
** Jonesy has a new job in almost every episode, and most of the time it's relevant to its plot in some fashion. And then the fallout of whatever antics he and the gang have gotten themselves into usually involve [[GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity him getting fired]].
** Nikki stays at the Khaki Barn for most of the series run; however, she temporarily works at Stereo Shack in "Welcome to the Darth Side" and Counter Measures in "Quit It", only to be [[StatusQuoIsGod rehired by Chrissy at the KB]] by the end of each episode. Nikki quits her job at the Barn for good in the series, after she and her parents end up moving away.
** Caitlin temporarily takes a second job at a chocolate store to earn extra income in "Girlie Boys", but leaves when she gained extra pounds when she could finally afford the jeans she was saving for. Also, Caitlin quits the Big Squeeze in "Losing Your Lemon" after she pays off her credit card debt; however, she reclaims her job when Tricia and her group of doppelgangers take over the main group's regular table, and Caitlin was starting to slip back to her old overspending ways, which led her into needing to get a job in the first place.
** At the beginning of the series, Jen leaves the Big Squeeze to work at the Penalty Box, where she stays for the entire series.
* NotSoAboveItAll: They each take turns trying to play off whatever fad the other members happen to be interested in at the time, only for it to be revealed that they're just as into it as the rest of them. Special mention goes to Nikki in "The Girls in the Band," when she spends most of the episode pretending to be disinterested in Caitlin and Jen's favorite BoyBand, Dawg Toy, but is eventually exposed as having an arguably bigger obsession with them than her friends.
* OnceAnEpisode: Jonesy gets (and loses) a new job, and Caitlin falls in (and out of) love with a new boy.
* RedOniBlueOni:
** Between the boys, obnoxious impulsive ladies-man/jokester Jonesy is the Red Oni while the sensitive and sensible Wyatt is the Blue Oni. Jude lies in the middle, as he's a lot more laid back than Jonesy but more impulsive than Wyatt.
** Between the girls, constantly {{squee}}ing GenkiGirl Caitlin is the Red Oni while [[TheSlacker Nikki]] is the Blue Oni. Jen is somewhere in-between as she can be more level-headed than Caitlin but also more excitable than Nikki.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Wyatt (sensitive musician), Jude (manly skateboarder to Wyatt, sensitive meditator to Jonesy), and Jonesy (manly hockey playing leech).
* TownGirls: Caitlin is the Femme, Nikki is the Butch, and Jen is Neither.
* TrueCompanions: They're close enough to be a mini-family of their own and always have each others' backs.
* VitriolicBestBuds: With their clashing personalities, there's not a day when they don't drive each other crazy. But if one member of the gang is really in trouble, the other five won't even hesitate to help them out. A good example of this trope in action is "Waiting to Ex-Sale" -- when the gang discovers Jonesy's fear of blood, they make fun of him for it, but they also help him get over his fear of it so he can donate blood and get a free donut and sticker.
* ZanyScheme: Many episodes revolve around them coming up with one of these to get out of work, get free food, make more money, impress a date or a celebrity, etc..

[[folder:Wyatt Williams]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wyattd.png [[hardline]] '''WYATT WILLIAMS'''\
'''Codename:''' Coffee Pot\
'''Relationship Status:''' I'm still waiting for the perfect girl.\
'''Jobs:''' Spin This (Country Music Section), Underground Video and Burger [=McFlipsters=]\
'''Interests''': Singing, songwriting, playing guitar, poetry the Mighty Weasels, the Jumping Snails (their lyrics are genius!)\
'''Favorite Quotations:''' "A song I wrote:''\
''My friends will always be around\
If they sold coolness by the pound\
They'd all be stinkin' rich\
Stayin' at Ritz\
Guaranteed to get you hoppin'\
Need some clothes? They'll take you shoppin'\
Or hang out just like this\
Oh, yeah!!"]]

->''"I've been playing the guitar since the fourth grade, and some day I'll go big with my music. Actually, I've been told I'm the next Music/AlanisMorissette. I'm not sure how I feel about that."''

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/JessGibbons

Wyatt's the true definition of an old soul. He sees house parties and making out in the movie theatre as strictly "for the cretins". He'd much rather do something cultural. He doesn't mind being different or uncool. He knows his day will come in a few years, when he's in college he'll be the man. Wyatt can play any song on request on his guitar. Wyatt's more well read than his pals, and since he's the 'smart' one, he should know better than to get involved in Jonesy's schemes. But, unfortunately, he's easily talked into anything Jonesy proposes because deep down he totally admires him. Wyatt works at the mall's music store in worst section possible: country music. He doesn't mind all that much, though, because he's totally crushing on his boss, Serena... who's 18! He doesn't love his job but at least he gets discounts on new releases.
\
Wyatt is the typical "nice guy". He has trouble talking to women he finds himself attracted to without the assistance of his friends, and believes in luck.
\
Wyatt is dependent on coffee, and is easily irritated without caffeine in his system. Wyatt also likes to eat sushi even though his friends are disgusted by it. He is also acrophobic (scared of heights) as shown in The Swami episode.
----
* AlliterativeName: His first and last names both start with "W".
* AmicableExes: With Marlowe.
* BlackAndNerdy: He is well-informed in the areas of history and science.
* BirdsOfAFeather: With Marlowe.
* BirthdayPartyGoesWrong: Wyatt hates having birthday parties, because of his parents' insistence that they be themed, and the theme is usually cringeworthy (such as a redneck[=/=]trailer park-themed party). In "The Birthday Boy", the rest of the group attempt to co-opt someone's ''bridal shower'' as Wyatt's birthday party.
* {{Bookworm}}: Among his friends, he's the most well-read.
* ButtMonkey: Comes with being the OnlySaneMan in a sitcom.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Matching brown hair and eyes.
* DeadpanSnarker: Especially towards Jonesy.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: In "Idol Time at the Mall", when his best friends weren't there for him to watch his second live musical performance properly after he won the InUniverse show ''Star Contest'' for performing his original song (Nikki was there, but she was sleeping for staying up late writing that song), he then made a new version of that tune which bashes all of them (with specific qualities pertaining to each of those members besides him). Once he performed that new version publicly and aggressively, it shocked the audience at first, but they were nonetheless impressed by it, especially since it could potentially lead him to making a record deal. '''However''', that same aggressive version would soon heavily affect his friendly ties with the rest of the gang once they knew why the rest of the people inside the mall were behaving negatively towards each of them besides Wyatt himself after his second live performance, leading him to be abandonded by all of them. Thankfully for him, he performed the original version again in his third and final live performance from that show for them as a form of [[TheAtoner atonement]] for bashing them earlier.
* DoggedNiceGuy: He got dumped by Serena via ''text message''.
* {{Fanboy}}: Wyatt is a fan of the bands Simple Plan, Radiohead, and Mighty Weasels.
* GentlemanAndAScholar: From time to time, Wyatt has shown to be the most academically established among the guys of the whole Gang, which is even evidenced in "Cecil B. Delusioned", where he passed every single high-school subject in the school he attends (along with his friends), ''except'' Phyical Education (initially, at least).
* GentlemanSnarker: While he's the most well-mannered of the guys, he's still capable of making negative remarks rather brutally.
* JerkassBall: Although Wyatt is usually a nice, easygoing guy, in "Idol Time at the Mall", when none of his friends show up to watch him perform his new song for various reasons (or in Nikki's case, was asleep the whole time), he instead writes and performs a different song about how much he hates them, which in turn gets them hated by everyone else at the mall. He eventually realizes that he's gone too far and makes it up to them by performing the original song about their friendship, which allows them to forgive him.
** When Wyatt tends to grab the Jerkass Ball it seems a little OoC, and it's usually done in regards to coffee. When Jen's mom was about to give birth he focused more on getting coffee, he goes on to measure other people's foam when he feels Serena's friend short changed him, etc. One of the worst cases of this is during the Speed Dating episode. He matches with someone who works at Grind Me, and loves their coffee and loves the fact they make coffee to the point his song to serenade her is about coffee. He ends up struggling to remember her name, which is not typical Wyatt behavior!
* LastGirlWins: [[spoiler:Kylie Smiley, although he does have to wait 5 years per her dad's conditions.]]
* LoveHurts: His break up with Serena in "Going Underground."
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The soulful Feminine Boy to Nikki's grungy Masculine Girl.
* MustHaveCaffeine: He's usually seen with a coffee from Grind Me.
* NeatFreak: One episode involved the guys trying to get him to loosen up.
* NiceGuy: Wyatt is sweet, polite, and even-tempered.
* OnlySaneMan: Literally the most normal guy of the gang. He's usually one of the few people other than Nikki to comment on Jen's tendency to lose it when she loses semblance of control and actually make Jen reflect on her behavior.
* RuleSixtyThree: One-shot girlfriend Lacey in "Quit It" starts off by having a few things in common with Wyatt; however, she progressively becomes an eerily-exact female copy of him, with the same hairstyle, clothes, and guitar. [[spoiler:Even the gang confuses her for Wyatt at one point.]]
* SecondLove: Marlowe.
* TheSmartGuy: While he's more known for his musical interests, he also has a significantly well-established academic background, especially when compared to both Jonesy and Jude.
* TheSpock: The most rational one of the three guys.
* StraightMan: Essentially the least impulsive from the guys of the gang.
* WorkingWithTheEx: {{Deconstruction}}. Wyatt's inability to get over Serena as Spin This leads to conflict at the work place from him snapping at customers, messing up the shelves, and playing heavy metal music loudly through the speakers. It eventually leads to Serena firing him.
[[/folder]]
[[folder:Nikki Wong]]
[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nikkie.png [[hardline]] '''NIKKI WONG'''\
'''Codename:''' Nose Ring\
'''Relationship Status:''' It's Complicated.\
'''Jobs:''' I sell hideous, preppy clothes at Tacky Barn. Oops, I mean Khaki Barn.\
'''Interests''': Individuality, Going against the grain. Thinking outside the box. Independent film. Rebellious rockers. Cargo pants.\
'''Favorite Quotations:''' "Let me think about it. No."]]

->''"I can't stand people who just follow the crowd. Some might call me "no-nonsense." I'd just call it a complete inability to put up with stupidity."''

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/StaceyDePass

Nikki's a total original with a punk rock edge. She hates everything about "The Clones", the girls she works with at the Khaki Barn who look alike, dress alike and talk alike--but most of all she hates that she's stuck working with them. She wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything sold at The Khaki Barn, and she's not easily sucked into trends. Nikki's plan is to graduate and travel the world, then settle down someplace far away from a suburban mall. Nikki's the reality check for all of her friends, especially Jonesy, but sometimes she just can't decide if she loves him or hates him.
\
Nikki can be grumpy and she is usually the most sensible among her friends, and is highly individualistic, which puts her at odds with the Khaki Barn's rules and regulations, as the store's philosophy states that individualism is overrated. Often, she will skip out on her duties at work and criticize others for their lack of personal style. Due to corporate brainwashing, she briefly started acting like the Clones after being declared Employee of the Month, but promptly reverted to her former self with the help of her friends. She is also very smart. She dreams of becoming a travel writer. [[spoiler:Moves to Iqaluit, Nunavut in the Season 4 GrandFinale, though she still plans to keep in touch with her friends and keeps her relationship with Jonesy intact.]]
----
* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: Nikki finds her parents embarrassing, partly because they wear clothes from the 1970s.
* AmbidextrousSprite: Her bracelet sometimes switches wrists.
* BadassAdorable: She's the smallest, most petite member of the gang, but threaten her, or her friends, then may god have mercy on your soul.
* BelligerentSexualTension: With Jonesy.
* TheBigGirl: Class 5. She's by far the most aggressive and antagonistic of the group towards others, and pretty tough to boot.
* BreakoutCharacter: While all six of the main characters have their respective fanbases, Nikki's arguably the most popular of the main six.
* BruiserWithASoftCenter: Among everyone from the gang, she's the most ready when it comes to packing punches (more so, if it's needed), yet she still has her own conscience despite that impulsive trait of hers.
* BrutalHonesty: Depends on the situation. While she won't hold back when talking to people she doesn't like (or if she's in a bad mood), she'll usually maintain at least some tact when her friends are involved.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: With Jonesy--as mentioned in his entry, they've known each other since Kindergarten and it was mentioned in an early episode that Jonesy's had romantic feelings for Nikki since 9th-grade.
* CuteBruiser: She can easily beat most people in a fight, and is pretty attractive as well.
* DeadpanSnarker: By far the most sarcastic member of the group. This is deconstructed a tad along with her status as one of the only sane men in that her snarking can be interpreted literally by those around her to disastrous results.
* EmoTeen: Dark purple hair, piercings, snarky and cynical attitude.
* {{Gasshole}}: In Silent Butt Deadly she uses the toilet in Jonesy's house and farts very hard while using it and ends up clogging it in the process with her poop.
* GirlsLoveChocolate: Only when she's on her period.
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Averted. She has a purple bob, but she's a grungy, tomboyish punk.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: The Tiny Girl to Jonesy's Huge Guy.
* InterchangeableAsianCultures: She seems to be Chinese because of her last name Wong, however her phone has a Japanese flag symbol on it. Though it's possible that she has one Chinese parent and one Japanese parent.
* {{Irony}}: Nikki is a tomboy who wears grungy clothes, dyes her hair, has facial piercings and hates everything girly. She works at the Khaki Barn, the girliest fashion store in the mall.
* {{Jerkass}}: Not a very pleasant person. However...
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She can be rough, abrasive and brutally honest (especially towards Caitlin), but she really does care about her friends.
* MaleGaze: In Cecil B. Delusioned, Jonesy very obviously fixates the camera on her chest.
* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: The grungy Masculine Girl to Wyatt's soulful Feminine Boy.
* TheNapoleon: She's physically the shortest of the main six, but she's also very openly brutal, and is capable of losing her temper, in an out of her job (albeit not as much as Jen does).
* NonconformistDyedHair: Nikki is a punk-dressed girl who hates fashion trends and mindless conformity, and sports a short bob of purple-dyed hair to go with her many piercings.
* OfficialCouple: With Jonesy.
* OnlySaneWoman: She's usually the one among the main six with the most common sense, aside from Wyatt.
* PublicHaterPrivateFan: In "The Girls in the Band," she pretends to hate [=DawgToy=], a boy band that Jen and Caitlin both love. But, near the end of the episode, her backpack rips open and a horde of merchandise falls out, revealing that she's a closet [=DawgToy=] fan.
* PurpleIsTheNewBlack: A literal example. Nikki is known for her signature purple hair. However, her 1st-grade ballet photo (which was shown in "Breaking Up with the Boss' Son" thanks to Jonesy), as well as both of her parents' appearances, reveal that she's actually naturally dark-haired.
* TheQuincyPunk: Definitely has the style of one.
* SheCleansUpNicely: Nikki's already quite lovely in her grungy outfit, but in the rare times she wears more formal attire, she looks beautiful!
* ShipperOnDeck: For Darth/Julie in "Welcome to the Darth Side," but only to get Darth to stop hitting on her.
* TheSlacker: Doesn't help at all that she hates her job at the Khaki Barn.
* SlapSlapKiss: With Jonesy.
* TheSnarkKnight: Spends a good majority of her time being scathingly deadpan and rude, but is still a good person to say the least. She handles The Clones like this, but whether they recognize it or not depends.
* StepfordSnarker: It's implied multiple times in the series that the reason she's so sarcastic is that she has trouble connecting to others, and puts on a JerkassFacade to push people she doesn't know away.
* SurroundedByIdiots: How she views the Clones. She's not too far off, although Chrissy at least is smarter than Nikki gives her credit for.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: She's given her fair share of them. Perhaps most notably in the finale she makes a scene at the Khaki Barn where she openly decries everything her employers stand for in front of the customers, telling off Chrissy and the other clones before declaring that she finally quits.
* {{Tomboy}}: She's more into rock music and doesn't like the color pink or most girly-related things.
* TomboyWithAGirlyStreak: She was a closet fan of boy band, Dawg Toy. After Jen and Caitlin found out, Nikki has been more open about liking the group.
* TomboyishName: Uses the boyish spelling of "Nikki", which is short for Nicole.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Nikki became much more abrasive and snarky in future seasons considering that her cynical sarcastic behavior was exaggerated over time.
* {{Tsundere}}: Type A, although she's a much milder example than Tricia. Becomes more of a Dere/Type B whenever she has PMS.
* TsurimeEyes: Emphasized by her purple eyelashes.
* UltimateJobSecurity: Despite being a lazy, apathetic employee, Chrissy lets Nikki keep her job at the Khaki Barn because her terrible work ethic makes the Clones look better in comparison. In one episode, when Nikki actually is fired and replaced by a more competent employee, said employee turns out to be so good at her job that she ends up lowering the Clones' commissions, which prompts them to fire her and [[StatusQuoIsGod rehire Nikki.]]
* UnwillinglyGirlyTomboy: In "Employee of the Month", she gets brainwashed into giving herself a girly makeover and acting like the Clones. She's snapped out of it by Caitlin slapping her silly.

[[quoteright:250:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/vlcsnap_2010_12_18_04h10m34s74.jpg [[hardline]] '''JUDE LIZOWSKI'''\

'''Interests:''' skateboarding, fountain diving, my skateboard Sally, hockey, the Mighty Weasels\
'''Favorite Quotations:''' ''"eternity is just a state of mind.''" ''"the best glimpse of paradise is in that second before you bail."'' ''"life is like a skateboard park, and the dudes and chicks are merely skaters."'']]

->''"I'm a proud member of the Mall's Most Wanted list and I'm a man of few words, dude."''
%% Note: quote above is most likely how Jude would write it.

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/ChristianPotenza

Jude is into living life large. If it's extreme, he's done it or it's on his to-do list. He's always positive and mellow and his laid-back attitude is totally contagious, the perfect combo of cool, sweet and strangely confident. Jude has a super-short attention span and he'll often check out of a conversation because he's bored. The only things he takes seriously are his friends, skateboarding and his job at Stick It, where you can get different food on a stick every day. He's pretty certain this was the job he was born to have, and he doesn't want to mess it up. For some reason, Jude is the one who everyone trusts with their secrets...even though he's not very good at keeping them.
\
Jude is easily excited and unpredictable. On the surface, he does not appear to take anything seriously, but finds unique ways of dealing with everyday problems. He tends to approach things at a slow, suitable pace, and gives names to inanimate objects that he cherishes, such as his skateboard, "Sally". Jonesy describes him as one who "takes weird to a whole new level".
\
While speaking to people, Jude usually addresses them as "dude" or "bro" in reference to males, and "dudette" or "bra" in reference to females or calling everyone as a whole "dudes". He exhibits Type B personality.
----
* AmbiguouslyJewish: In "How the Rent-A Cop Stole Christmas", he talks about celebrating Hanukkah, and in "Bicker Me Not", it's implied his grandparents were Holocaust survivors.
* AttractiveBentGender: Jonesy has more than once (unknowingly) hit on Jude when the latter disguises himself as a girl.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: While Wyatt is confirmed to be the youngest of the guys of the gang (thanks to the episode "The Birthday Boy"), Jude is actually the least mature among them, as well as the whole gang in general, given the latter's odd view around the world.
* BalloonBelly: In "Snow Job", he managed to consume a huge amount of coleslaw from a big jar, which also resulted with his belly becoming visibly bigger.
* BeyondTheImpossible: He can get a tan from the mall's ''florescent'' lights. His explanation: "The key to a good va-cay is all in the ''mind''." Nikki shouted how impossible this was but the tan was there so there wasn't much she could do about it.
* BookDumb: He's not a particularly good student, and was on the verge of failing all of his classes at one point in time.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Prone to doing some rather... bizarre things.
* CompanionCube: He has a habit of getting attached to random objects, like Betty the massage chair.
* CannotKeepASecret: He even acknowledges this twice during the show:
** He mentions it in "Silent Butt Deadly", when Caitlin's abruptly egging him to tell to her his now-former relationship with a senior student named Melinda Wilson.
** He brings this up again in "Insert Name Here", after he revealed to the rest of the gang about Coach Halder's ice skating passion.
* TheDitz: Is frequently known to not use his own mind in even the simplest situations very well. One odd example is that when he works at a store that sells video games, he only buys one copy for himself and not as many as he can to get as many customers as he can.
* DumbBlonde: Easily the least intelligent member of the gang, supported by the fact that he usually doesn't take life too seriously.
* EmpathyPet: For the episode where he had a pet goldfish, they were just as calm and cool.
* EruditeStoner: He's like a teenaged version of [[Film/TheBigLebowski The Dude]].
* ExtremeOmnivore: Thanks to his chill nature, Jude doesn't really care about what he's eating. He once ate a gumball that got stuck in the wheels of his skateboard.
* {{Gasshole}}: The worst offender in the series.
* GRatedDrug:
** He becomes [[MustHaveCaffeine addicted to coffee]] more so than Wyatt when he became obsessed with winning something from Grind Me's contest in "Smarten Up". He eventually wins; however, the prize he won was a year's worth of free coffee.
** In "Over Exposed", he is addicted to Burger [=McFlipster=]'s Ragin' Cajun fries to the point where he eats old fries ''out of the trash can''.
** The special reunion "Vote, Dude!" doesn't try to hide the fact he was probably ''smoking pot inside the lemonade stand'' (we only see smoke coming out when he opens the roof, though).
* GroinAttack: He has been hit, punched or kicked in the crotch more than any other male character on the show.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: While he has his own mischievous moments, he's typically chill to be with.
* HasAType: He seems to have a thing for brunettes and redheads (although it's also implied that he and Caitlin have feelings for each other).
* TheHeart: The least likely of the group to cause conflict, by far one of the friendliest, and an overall good person who seems to do a good job of keeping the group together.
* HeterosexualLifePartners: With Jonesy.
* InformedJudaism: He and his family are Jewish, as he indicates in "How the Rent-A-Cop Stole Christmas" that they celebrate Hanukkah. It was revealed in "Bicker Me Not" that Jude's grandparents "were political rebels that went into hiding". This suggests that they lived during the Holocaust, since Jude's said to be of Polish descent.
* KindheartedSimpleton: Even though he isn't always the sharpest knife in the drawer, he is often there for somebody when needed, including his own best friends.
* TheKirk: He's somewhat more rational and a lot more laid back than Jonesy but still a lot more impulsive than Wyatt.
* TheKlutz: As well as the fact that he's not very bright, he has also experienced a lot of physical mishaps throughout the show, even as a skilled skater. This includes that time where he accidentaly [[GroinAttack hits himself at his "kiwis"]] with a mop.
* {{Leitmotif}}:
** An electric guitar that usually accompanies his skateboarding stunts.
** An electric guitar cover of "[[PublicDomainSoundtrack Pomp & Circumstance]]" is usually heard whenever he gives a RousingSpeech.
* LightIsGood: Normally wears a light khaki yellow shirt, and is one of the friendliest people inside (and outside) of the mall.
* LoveHurts:
** His eventual StarCrossedLovers relationship with Starr.
** Also, when he finds out that his mysterious Australian caller got back together with her ex-boyfriend.
* MeaningfulName: Coincidentally, "Jude" is the German word for "Jew," and Jude's presumably Jewish.
* NiceGuy: He's laid-back, cool, and good-hearted.
* ThePigPen: Jude has very poor hygiene habits--he actually once went two weeks without bathing of any kind. He never smells too bad, however, which Jude claims is due to something he calls the "Stink Cycle." Nikki also claims that Jude never bathed much to begin with ("He's always had a faint lingering odor").
** His lack of hygiene did, however, cause a few health issues when he worked in food service. When Jonesy was selling people chunklets, Jonesy did everything right but Jude failed to keep the meat properly preserved. Jude eventually gets fired and banned from working in food services when someone who eats his food finds a cockroach in it. And then Jude later on casually admits (in the same episode) that he did not keep his business clean at all.
* RousingSpeech: He has given them from time to time.
* SurferDude: A "Skater Dude" variant, but he does like surfing.
* SueDonym: Has a handful of disguises that pop up the series every now and then.
* VerbalTic: "Dude" and either "Bro" for guys and "Brah" for girls.

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/MeganFahlenbock

Jen's a super-sweet, responsible, determined girl who just happens to be a total tomboy. Jen's known for her ability to beat almost any guy in almost any sport and she's destined to become an Olympic snowboarding champ one day. Jen's the planner of the group and her sports experience makes her a natural born leader and coach. She's quick to offer tips to her pals...even when they don't ask for them. One person who does look up to Jen and takes her advice very seriously is Caitlin, who just happens to be training to fill Jen's old gig at The Big Squeeze.
\
Jen had a crush on Jonesy in the 7th grade, and she had also dreamed about the two of them kissing. This was revealed in the episode "The Journal". However, this has changed now that the two of them are step-siblings (and the fact that he's dating Nikki). Because she works at a place that sell sports equipment and has an interest in sports (mainly soccer and snowboarding), Ron the "Rent-a-Cop" gave her the nickname "Gym Sock".
\
Jen is responsible, admirable, and committed. She enjoys sports, fantasizing about attractive boys, and planning for the future, but is also prone to nosiness and has a quick temper, traits which have led her friends to regard her as a control freak.
----
* AcademicAthlete: Jen's a top athlete at her school, and it's mentioned that she's a straight-A student as well.
* AllWorkVsAllPlay: The All Work to her friends' All Play. When they tried to convince her to take a day off from work to hang out at the mall's amusement park, she refused so adamantly that they had to concoct a ZanyScheme that involved pretending to be paramedics and literally dragging her out of the Penalty Box while strapped down to a hospital gurney.
%%* AuthorAppeal
* AmbiguouslyAbsentParent: In early episodes it's implied her parents are divorced and their parents are both spoken about in the present tense. However, by The Wedding Destroyers, Jen describes her father as gone and he's heavily implied to be dead. Its possible he died at some point in between episodes, after the divorce.
* ButtMonkey: A thoroughly beleaguered employee and frequently exposed ([[NakedPeopleAreFunny in more ways than one]]).
* ControlFreak: She drives her friends crazy by giving them unwanted advice, and once planned out an entire itinerary of rides during a trip to the mall's amusement park.
-->'''Jude:''' ''(imitating Jen with a sock puppet)'' "Hey, Caitlin! Can I give you some advice? 'Cause I'm Jen, and I like to boss everyone around!"
* CoolBigSis: Though her methods don't always work out.
* DudeMagnet: A fair share of boys have flirted with her.
* DrivesLikeCrazy: Jen once drove a mall's display car into the fountain.
* FieryRedhead: She's the most anger-prone member of the gang, beating out Nikki for the many times the former had lost her own cool.
* FlirtyStepsiblings: With Jonesy sometimes.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: The responsible to Courtney and their stepbrothers' foolish.
* FullFrontalAssault: Jen had been caught topless at least three times, much to her embarrassment.
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Mixed with TrueBlueFemininity, her hoodie has a bluish-purple color.
* InTheHood: Sometimes pulls up her hood and hides her face in it when embarrassed.
* JerkassBall: Not terribly often, but she has her moments, such as "The Fake Date" and "The Wedding Destroyers". A lot of her Jerkass Ball moments are dependant on how much she lets her need for control mess with her head, and in both of the above examples when her Jerkass behavior was pointed out to her by her friends, she apologized and made up for it.
* TheLeader: Albeit unofficially, she often gets to take in charge of the situations she and the rest of the gang experience. Sometimes replaced by Jonesy.
* MsFanservice: Leggy, beautiful, and often shows a fair amount of skin.
* MomentOfWeakness: In the opening episode, after dealing with the inexperienced Caitlin's multiple errors, Jen finally snaps at Caitlin and screams at her over her multiple errors. Coach Halder reveals he overheard the outburst and comes extremely close to firing her before Caitlin intervenes.
* NiceGirl: While she can get bossy, sexist and nosy at times, Jen's still really nice and deeply cares about her friends and family.
* NakedPeopleAreFunny: Not often, but crops up in a few episodes.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Jen is guilty of doing this quite often. One of the most glaring examples is when she invaded Wyatt's space because he was happier than he has been for a bit and didn't want to wait for him to feel comfortable telling everyone why. She and the rest of the gang go on to ruin the event because he wanted to be able to do it by himself. Charlie Dobbs asked her "Do you always jump to conclusions?" and Nikki, her closest friend, confirmed it. Jen has a history of spying throughout the run of the show and it usually doesn't end well.
* OnlySaneWoman: Shares this role with Nikki and occasionally Wyatt.
* PassionateSportsGirl: One of the reasons why Jen took a job at a sporting goods store. She also stated it is her dream to compete in the Olympics at snowboarding.
* RageBreakingPoint: When Halder and his son were repeatedly using Jen as a target for paintball practice, she finally snaps and goes military commando on the both of them.
* SecretDiary: Jen keeps a journal about herself and her friends. Unfortunately, it was misplaced and taken to the mall's Lost and Found. Even more unfortunately, Caitlin, Nikki, Jonesy, and Wyatt read it '''out loud''', unknowingly in front of a large crowd of witnesses.
* ShowerOfAwkward: More than once.
* TomboyWithAGirlyStreak: Prior to Caitlin's introduction to the group, Jen was the GirlyGirlWithATomboyStreak to Nikki's straight up tomboy. She's really into sports and wants to take up a career in sports, but also enjoys girly things like fashion, shopping and boy bands. Unlike most examples of this trope, however, Jen is more transparent about her girliness.
* {{Tsundere}}: Balances between both Types A and B, especially because of her frequently temperamental nature. Though, in terms of her overall personality, she's more of a Type B due to her being notably fair and responsible to others, even in her angriest moments.
* WhatTheHellHero: Jen tends to pull these on others since she's the more sensible one.
** She calls out Caitlin after witnessing her going on a date with a guy that Nikki had claim on. What was worse was that while Caitlin was on her date, Nikki was waiting for her own date with the same guy, that Caitlin lied about setting up for her.
** When Caitlin basically forced Jen into doing something she doesn't want so she could further herself with a new guy. Even after promising Jen it won't happen again, she breaks it no less than three times just so she could selfishly get alone time with her new beau. Jen finally gets angry when she found out in the end, Caitlin dumps the guy for an incredibly trivial reason, thereby making all the sacrifices she forced Jen to make all for naught. Although, Jen gets revenge by revealing she had splurged all of Caitlin’s money for ditching her.
** Jen gets angry at Caitlin, Nikki, Jonesy, and Wyatt for not only reading her journal, but for reading it out loud in the middle of the mall where ''everyone'' was listening.
** Jen herself was on the receiving end from her friends when she stole an expensive sports jacket from the Penalty Box to attract the attention of a cute boy. At first, she tried pulling a NeverMyFault by protesting that they convinced her to steal it by talking about stealing from their jobs, but they point out that they only steal small things like pencils and napkins, not huge things like expensive jackets.
** Jen has these thrown her way from time to time, usually when her control freak nature or lack of respect of personal boundaries leads her to act out. One odd example is when she unwrapped an entire charity's worth of presents because she couldn't handle not knowing what the gifts were. Gifts that were never meant for her to begin with!

->''"I'm the top scorer on the varsity hockey team and I speak fluent Spanish, but chicks are my speciality. Some might call me a [[TheSlacker slacker]]. Personally, I think I'm just too free-spirited to tie myself down with things like jobs, or homework, or a committed relationship. Gotta play the field, dude!"''
%% Note: quote above is most likely how Jonesy would write it.

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/TerryMcGurrin

Jonesy's a popular, good-looking, confident and loyal guy. He's the social director of the group, but he's not the most responsible guy; in fact, he's got a knack for getting fired from EVERY job he manages to land at the mall. His interests can be summed up in two words: HOCKEY and CHICKS! He's a popular, pathologically confident, good-looking guy who gets invited to all the parties and who's probably going peak in High School. But for someone who's so totally into chasing girls he's got a pretty low success rate with the ladies. There's one lady who's totally got his number, though, and that's Nikki. Jonesy loves to spar with her and their love/hate relationship could turn into romance one day. If they don't kill each other first...
\
Jonesy is lazy (even lazier than Wayne), smug, narcissistic, and persistent. He enjoys sports, chasing after beautiful women, and formulating get-rich-quick schemes, but is also prone to deviousness, arrogance, selfishness, male chauvinism, bragging, and dishonesty (nowhere near as dishonest as Tricia), though he cares deeply for his friends and puts their needs before his own. This implies that he is nowhere near as selfish as Tricia. Rather impressionable, he is easily fooled, like when his friends scared him out of skydiving with their stories of jumps gone awry. Jonesy also thinks that he can speak Spanish fluently, although his Spanish is poor according to Nikki and thinks that 47 is the answer to everything.
----
* AfraidOfBlood: "Waiting to Ex-Sale" reveals that he has hemophobia (a fear of blood) after a traumatic nosebleed experience. He tries to get over it so he can donate blood and get the free donut and sticker they're giving out.
-->'''Jonesy:''' Once, when I was a kid, I got a bloody nose and it just wouldn't stop bleeding, and it was bleeding all over my jersey, and I tried to stop it, but the blood just got everywhere! Ever since then, I can't stand the sight of it! What kind of a guy is scared of a little blood?
* AfraidOfNeedles: Subverted. Nikki believed this was the case when Jonesy frequently backed out on donating blood, but soon realized he was afraid of blood, not needles.
* BelligerentSexualTension: With Nikki.
* ButtMonkey: Though [[KarmicButtMonkey most of the time, he deserves it.]]
* ChickMagnet: Though this doesn't mean the attraction will always stick. He's good at a first impression at best.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: With Nikki--they've known each other since Kindergarten and it was mentioned in one episode (before they became an OfficialCouple) that he's had romantic feelings for Nikki since they were in 9th-grade.
* DeadpanSnarker: Sometimes, though it's usually directed at Wyatt. He usually snarks back with Nikki before and after they date.
* DreadfulMusician: In "A Ding From Down Under", he tries to pick up girls by working at Burger [=McFlipster's=] and singing burger jingles (after he sees Wyatt do it), but his singing voice is so terrible that it drives all the female customers off.
* EvenTheGuysWantHim: The GayCowboy!
* EveryoneHasStandards: Despite being kind of a player himself when it comes to girls and dating, even Jonesy seemed disgusted by the antics of Kyle "Dirty" Donaldson. In several episodes, he wouldn't purposely betray or even hurt his friends’s feelings, particularly Nikki.
* FlirtyStepsiblings: With Jen--Jonesy's dad and Jen's mom hooked up at one point and got married in "The Wedding Destroyers."
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: As stepsiblings, Foolish to Jen's Responsible. Jonesy can also be responsible from time to time when Jen isn't, but more often than not Jen is the more responsible one. He's arguably the second most responsible of the Garcia-Mastersons, with his brothers and Courtney being very foolish.
* GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity: He gets fired from his job almost OnceAnEpisode, but usually has new job by the next episode. The timeframe within the episode can be what is implied to be a couple days or a couple hours depending.
* GetRichQuickScheme: Whenever Jonesy is not getting fired from his latest job, he will often try these, usually to the same success of his legitimate jobs. Once in a while he technically does both at once, like when he pretended to be a bigwig bank employee and gave everyone loans. It was a scam, and he technically didn't work there!
* GoingCommando: While Jonesy is mostly known for wearing [[BriefsBoasting briefs]], the episode “Awake the Wyatt Within” tells the audience that he is not afraid to dabble in this trope. Unfortunately, (that it happened [[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome offscreen]]), he was doing this trope while also wearing a [[ManInAKilt field hockey kilt]] while walking over a floor vent that was on that resulted in him being fired the first time from El Sporto’s on his long list of jobs.
%%* HandsomeLech
* HeterosexualLifePartner: With Jude.
* HighSchoolHustler: Whenever he's not on a job he's about to be fired from, Jonesy comes up with "get rich quick" schemes, which often fail. Arguably his most successful scheme was when he decided to break bad news for others, which he only quit because he felt dumping Nikki for someone else wasn't worth it. Unlike most if not all of his other schemes, he kept the money.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: The huge guy to Nikki's Tiny Girl (he's the tallest of the group while she's the shortest).
* JerkJock: He is the star player for his high school hockey team. As for the "jerk", he's usually more obnoxious than mean.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Yes, he can be pretty obnoxious, but all of his pranks are in good fun and he does have a softer side (for evidence, look no further than "Snow Job").
* KidAnova: A teenaged, high school-version.
* TheLancer: The most likely of the group to cause conflict within it due to his more {{Jerkass}} tendencies (even Nikki's much more controlled about being that he is).
* LaserGuidedKarma: He tends to get some form of comeuppance that's in relation to his general bad behavior, which may or may not include [[NewJobAsThePlotDemands the numerous times he gets out from his many jobs]] for the majority of this show.
* LatinLover: He's half Mexican from his dad's side (and half Filipino from his mom's side).
* TheLeader: If Jen's not the one in charge, he'll sometimes take that position for the whole gang.
* LovableSexManiac: Jonesy's as girl-crazy as his Caitlin is boy-crazy (at least until Nikki became his girlfriend).
* MessyHair: Even though his hair is relatively shorter than those from the other boys, it's normally not that tidied up throughout the show, even in formal events such as school dances and weddings.
* MrFanservice: He has been seen shirtless, in his underwear, and even naked on a few occasions.
* MrViceGuy: A sympathetic example, but he still serves as this. While he isn't mean or evil, he is rather insensitive, selfish, promiscuous and narcissistic. He's actually a good guy in spite of that, however, and he generally means well.
* MarilynManeuver: In one episode, he works at a place which has him in a kilt. [[spoiler:This trope and the fact that he wasn't wearing underwear when pulling this trope is why he got fired.]]
* TheMcCoy: Among the boys, he's the most impulsive.
* {{Narcissist}}: Very fond of bragging.
* NewJobAsThePlotDemands: Personifies this trope among everyone from the gang the most throught the show, to which it also acts as a RunningGag to him. Reasons for him being out of any job can range from [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking his professional incompetence, his general bad behavior, or an accident that he has nothing to do with]].
* NoodleIncident: He's been banned from at least one store in the mall he got fired from. We don't know why, but knowing Jonesy, it could have been anything.
* OddNameOut: Out of all the members of the gang, he seems to have the most unusual first name from them. Even his French Canadian dub name, more so his first one, has this sort of matter on him.
* OfficialCouple: With Nikki.
* OneHeadTaller: As previously mentioned, Jonesy's the tallest of the main six--Nikki in particular barely comes up to his shoulders.
* PersonaNonGrata: For [[NoodleIncident unknown reasons]], he's been banned from at least one store in the mall. While reading the want ads at the beginning of "The Girls in the Band"...
-->'''Jonesy:''' Been fired from there. Been fired from there. Ooh, not even allowed to ''shop'' in there.
* ThePrankster: He enjoys pulling pranks on his brothers, their stepsisters and his friends.
* RunningGag: In almost every episode where he has a job at the mall, he'll get fired for one reason or another--the shortest time was in the pilot episode, where after just ten minutes after being hired at some ice cream shop at the mall, he was fired for flirting with the hostess, who turned out to be his employeer's daughter. Another early example episode is when planning some event for the evening (it was around noon at the time), his boss saw him on the phone and he was immediately fired. And Jonesy himself stated he just started.
* SlapSlapKiss: With Nikki.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: In the wrestling episode, where he helps Jen get rid of wrestling equipment, the vast majority of his wins are due to Caitlin covering him in slippery gel, but several of his early wins were due to his own martial prowess, best exemplified where he throws Ron the Rent a Cop, who is established as one of the strongest characters on the show, several feet out of the ring.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Jonesy became an even bigger Jerkass in future seasons considering that his perviness was exaggerated over time. His standards also became looser over time, with Jonesy doing things in later seasons he would at the very least not be cool with in earlier seasons.
* {{Tsundere}}: Type A, much like his eventual girlfriend Nikki. His old [[KidAnova womanizing]] ways even support this, as well.
* VerbalTic: Jonesy tends to over-emphasize his T's when he talks.

Caitlin's the newest addition to the tight group of friends. She's spoiled, but she's also sweet, and her friends can't help but love her even though she can be pretty clueless. Caitlin's a girlie-girl to the core, and she's totally boy-crazy to boot. Unfortunately, if a cute guy even LOOKS in her direction, she's bound to do something entirely embarrassing! Caitlin is better equipped to shop at the mall than she is to work at it. Unfortunately, her 'rents have forced her to find a part-time gig in an effort to teach her the value of money. She's convinced they'll let her off the hook and give her back her credit card any day now, though...
\
Caitlin is a shopaholic. She enjoys keeping up with new trends and dating attractive males, but is prone to weakness, distraction, jealousy, and competition. Occasionally, she can be self-centered and shallow (personality traits she has denied having). She describes herself as a "slave to fashion" and a "high maintenance menace", and regards teen magazines as bibles for women. She loves her friends, although she is almost always ready to stand them up for a good sale.
----
* AlliterativeName: Her first and last names both start with "C".
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: She's not just the youngest of the girls (as well as the whole gang), as confirmed in "Sweet 6Teen"; she's also the least mature among them, considering her occasional ditzy moves, though her levels of maturity are still relatively higher than Jude's.
* BalloonBelly: After getting a job at Chocoholics Anonymous in "Girlie Boys", she eats 6 pounds worth of chocolate a '''day''', and it shows. She doesn't notice her gain until she had difficulty putting on a pair of jeans, and then she went to a gym to lose the weight.
* BadassAdorable: Not quite as badass as Nikki, but just as, if not more, adorable than she is.
* BoyishShortHair: {{Inverted}}; she has the shortest hair of the girls in the group, but she's ''far'' from being a tomboy and is very girly.
* CannotKeepASecret: While not as much as Jude is, she's seemingly the second-most guilty within the whole gang when it comes to sharing personal secrets to others.
** In "The Hunted", as Nikki told Caitlin the former's crush on a guy named Hunter and even tries to keep it a secret, thr latter abruptly told everyone else from the gang about it (though she later apologized for it).
** In "Pillow Talk", the gang share their most embarrassing stories[[note]]Jen sat on a chocolate bar while wearing white pants, Jude vomited in Starr's mouth on their first kiss, Wyatt had a secret shrine to Serena, Nikki accidentally slammed into a stop sign in front of the whole school, Jonesy got a perm in Grade 7, and Caitlin had a "toilet paper tail" at the beach last summer with Tricia secretly filming the incident[[/note]], promising to keep the stories only among themselves. However, Caitlin tells her GuyOfTheWeek Dustin every embarrassing story except for hers. When a hypnotist performs at the mall, Dustin inadvertently tells the stories while under hypnosis. The gang gets revenge on Caitlin by making Tricia's "toilet paper tail" video of her viral.
** In "Silent Butt Deadly", she learns of Jude's secret relationship with a senior named Melinda after chasing him down. Jude tells Caitlin not to tell anyone; however, she ends up telling ''everyone''.
*** Additionally, in that same episode, she told everyone about Nikki's bathroom conundrum, even if the latter asked the former to not tell that to anyone else.
** In "6 Teens and a Baby", she wound up sharing to everyone about Nikki's personal nightmares of having "the hots" with Darth, which Nikki herself is not only traumatized by, but is also embarrassed with it.
* CreditCardPlot: Caitlin's origin story and recurring weakness.
* CuteButCacophonic: Downplayed. Her speaking voice is fine when she's calm; however, she has a rather loud scream, and her sobbing can be grating.
* CuteClumsyGirl: By her own admission, Caitlin's kind of a klutz and she gets especially klutzy around guys that she's romantically interested in. For example, when Caitlin was dating Talon (one of her only boyfriend to last beyond more than one episode of the show), he attained so many injuries while being around Caitlin that Jen points out that Caitlin essentially almost put him in the hospital. In another episode her dancing skills ended up knocking Pokey The Panda off of the escalator stairs.
* DependingOnTheWriter: While she is always considered attractive, her ability to pick up guys tends to vary. Some episodes have her effortlessly getting a date just by batting her eyelashes, yet in others, she is very awkward and clumsy in her approach, which hurt her chances with her potential love interest. One of the more middle ground episodes is the Sadie Hawkins dance episode where it's implied she's failing more because of the pressure being put on her than actual incompetence.
* TheDitz: She's possibly the least intelligent among the girls of the gang, given that she doesn't always use her own mind that capably compared to how Jen and Nikki would.
* DumbBlonde: Not in the same extent as Jude is, but she still tends to occasionally behave in a rather silly manner.
* EmbarrassingNickname: Tricia usually refers to Caitlin as "Lemonhead" because of her job at the Big Squeeze that requires her to wear a hat shaped like half a lemon.
* EveryoneHasStandards: She loves all things pink and girly, but she was absolutely horrified when Nikki got a girly makeover, lost her tomboyish personality, and started acting like the Clones in "Employee of the Month".
-->'''Caitlin''': ''(slapping Nikki across the face)'' Get a hold of yourself, girl! You're turning into one of them! And okay, it's fun to have you be nice to me for once, but you're ''totally freaking me out!!''
* FallenPrincess: She was just as snooty and stuck up as her "friend" Tricia, until her parents cut her off and made her get a job. Without her money, her so called friends ditched her. Plus that lemon hat, she eventually becomes nicer when she makes some real friends.
* FeigningIntelligence: She does this whenever she tries to get the attention of a smart AND cute boy.
* FormerFriendOfAlphaBitch: After Caitlin's parents take away her credit cards, Tricia promptly dropped Caitlin from her circle of "friends."
* {{Gasshole}}: Of the farting variety. While she may not be as bad as any of the male characters (particularly Jonesy or Jude), Caitlin does tend to get pretty gassy at times (especially if she's eaten anything with beans or pistachios). In fact, despite her strong GirlyGirl image, Caitlin has farted more times on screen than any other female character.
* GenkiGirl: Think of a non-magical [[Franchise/SailorMoon Usagi Tsukino]].
* GeniusDitz: She proclaims herself to be an expert in break-ups in general (which is most likely influenced by her own dating experiences), as revealed in "The One with the Cold Sore" (after Serena broke up with Wyatt via a text message to him).
* GirlsLoveChocolate: She even once got fat working at a chocolate store.
* GirlyGirl: The most feminine of the girls, and the entire gang. She enjoys shopping, talking about boys and enjoys accessorizing. Not to mention she wears dresses that are mainly girly.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's an excitable ValleyGirl who has a high sense of humanity in front of others, including her own best friends.
* {{Hypocrite}}:
** She will often [[MinorFlawMajorBreakup dump a guy for something relatively minor]] but often fears that she will be dumped for her own minor flaws. In "Going Underground", she dumped Talon for being a terrible kisser; however, she feared that he would break up with her for injuring him repeatedly, albeit unintentionally.
** In "Pillow Talk", Caitlin has no problem [[CannotKeepASecret revealing embarrassing secrets]] about her friends to her boyfriend but refuses to divulge on her most embarrassing story.
* InkSuitActor: Caitlin looks almost exactly like Brooke D'Orsay--one of the only real differences being that Caitlin has much shorter hair.
* InsistentTerminology: In "The One with the Cold Sore", she is very adamant about calling her cold sore a "lip thingy".
* InLoveWithLove: In one episode, she surprisingly dated a less-than-attractive guy named Lester, but only because she thinks he's buying her everything inside the mall (as if she's like a GoldDigger to him).
* {{Irony}}: She's the most romantically active among the girls of the gang, yet she was '''never''' shown being into Jonesy, who used to be ''the most romantically active of the guys'' from that same group.
* KindheartedSimpleton: Combines "caring" and "clueless" numerous times throughout the show.
* LightFeminineAndDarkFeminine: She is the SpoiledSweet light to Tricia's RichBitch dark.
* MasterActor: In "The Big Sickie", as part of a ZanyScheme to get Jen a day off of work, she pretended to be her grieving sister trying to convince Jen to see their "dying aunt", complete with realistic CrocodileTears and running mascara. She perfected this skill because she wanted to be a soap opera star when she was younger.
* MinorFlawMajorBreakup: As previously mentioned, Caitlin has a tendency of dumping guys for incredibly shallow reasons. Another example would be in one episode where she dumped a guy simply because he had a bunch of pimples all over his back.
* NiceGirl: She is the kindest of the main six.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Many of her outfits and accessories (including her normal attire) are pink.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: While she may not have SuperStrength, Caitlin's been shown to be quite strong despite her small stature. It's lampshaded twice in the third season:
** "Baby, You Stink" -- After seeing Caitlin push a huge photo booth all the way to the Lemon, Nikki notes, "For a size zero, she can drag a heavy load."
** "Insert Name Here" -- After coming up with a plan to help Wyatt finally get over his ex-girlfriend, Serena, the first thing Caitlin does is delete Serena's phone number from Wyatt's cellphone. She (literally) wrestles with Wyatt to get his phone from him, and after deleting Serena's number from it, Wyatt fails to get Caitlin off of him and notes, "You're freakishly strong for someone so small."
* ProneToTears: It doesn't seem to take much to get her in tears.
* RidiculouslyHighRelationshipStandards: She has a habit of dumping guys for extremely trivial reasons. She broke up with Talon because he sucks at kissing (keep in mind this was after she was afraid he'd break up with her), and left Billy just because he had bad acne on his back.
* SerialRomeo: A rare female version--she seems to have some sort of inability to keep a boyfriend for longer than a month. The others very often lampshade it.
-->'''Nikki:''' (''About Caitlin's latest boyfriend'') He was her ''twelfth'' "The One".
* ShipperOnDeck: For Darth/Julie in "Welcome to the Darth Side".
* SixthRanger: Joins the well-established group, making it officially [[StealthPun six teens]].
* {{Squee}}: Usually, her squeeing is more tolerable than the Clones.
* SpoiledSweet: Her family seems to be very rich, as evidenced in the episode "Oops, I Dailed It Again", where her father runs a tech company. And while she is known for her shallow interests, she is also very kind and considerate, especially to her friends.
* StalkerWithACrush: Sometimes crosses into this.
* SweetTooth: Chocolate is one of her many weaknesses.
* TenderTears: Out of everyone from the gang, she's the one who's the most capable of expressing emotion with her occasional crying, to which they can lead to the more heartwarming moments she's involved with, such as in "The (Almost) Graduate", after she got rejected from working in Albatross & Finch.
* TrueBlueFemininity: Her skirt and eyeshadow are both bright blue.
* {{Tsundere}}: Type B. She becomes a serious Tsun/Type A whenever she has PMS.
* ValleyGirl: She speaks with a slight valley girl accent despite (presumably) being from Canada.
* {{Yandere}}: Though [[DownplayedTrope unintentional]], her actions towards certain boys can sometimes be interpreted as such.
* YourMakeupIsRunning: Anytime she cries.

'''Relationship Status:''' Married with a son.\
'''Job:''' Owner of the "Penalty Box".\
'''Interests:''' Football, sports in general\
'''Favorite Quotations:''' ''"MASTERSON!"'']]

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/JamieWatson

Coach Halder is the owner/manager of the "Penalty Box", a sporting goods store, and Jen's boss throughout the series. He is a tall muscular, retired football player. Much like Ron and Wayne, Coach Halder despises Jonesy, due to his constant messing around in his store. He runs the store with extremely strict rules, such as the usage of the literal "penalty box," an Ice Hockey penalty box in the store to which he sends his employees (and sometimes his customers) for a time out when they make an infraction in his store, depending on his rules.
\
However, Halder is shown to love pranks and Halloween, and at several points his behavior is considered to be obnoxious by both his employees and others, including customers (he actually scared a couple of his customers so badly that the mall paramedics were called in ''twice''). Even though Jen's his hardest working employee, Coach Halder's usually the strictest with her--he constantly sends her to the penalty box for ridiculous reasons such as displaying affection or love during work hours. However, at the same time, he does have a lot of respect for her, especially since Jen's the first (and currently only) one of his employees to have actually worked for him for an entire year.
----
* DrillSergeantNasty: His behavior can best be compared to that of a military general.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Some episodes show he has pretty strong standards. One notable one being when he heard snippets from Jen's diary, he is disturbed he heard it and doesn't hold it against her.
* FieryRedhead: {{Hot Blooded}}, extremely brash and has little to {{No Indoor Voice}}.
* {{Hypocrite}}: In the pilot episode, Coach Halder briefly considers not hiring Jen when he witnesses her chewing out Caitlin, even though that's how he generally treats his own employees (and sometimes his customers). A lot of his comedy comes from him berating Jen only to act way worse with customers or in general. An example being berating Jen for reactiong to a customer's smelly feet, but when Coach Halder smelled the feet he reacted much more severely.
* JerkJock: He acts more like a [[{{Manchild}} frat prankster]] than a grown man.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite this, he has had many moments where he has proven himself to be a good person, often towards Jen. This is shown right in the first episode when he immediately berates Jen for yelling at Caitlin and comes within an inch of firing her, before Caitlin begs him to give her a chance.
* LastNameBasis: His first name is never revealed.
* LargeHam: He tends to go over-the-top when pulling pranks and especially during Halloween.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: He has a son named Cory, who is also a jock. He is also, according to him, a lot like his mother. In fact, she worked at the mall (if not The Penalty Box itself) before he did, and gave birth to him in the The Penalty Box. Whether or not this is true or just a bit was never eleborated on.
* MeanBoss: {{Subverted|Trope}}. While Coach Halder can be abrasive towards Jen, [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold he has shown that he can be lenient as well]]. It's implied he treats her the way he does because he considers her the top employee and pushes her to succeed. He's just not great at showing it.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Granted it is played for amusement, but when he reveals to Jen that he is aware she called him a lunkhead in her private diary, and a horrified Jen begs him to know where he heard it, he is clearly sickened that he overheard private details from his employee's life.
* RealMenWearPink: [[spoiler:In "Insert Name Here", Jude and the rest of the gang discover that he's a closet figure skater. Coach Halder even admits that he wanted to go pro, but his dad wouldn't let him.]] He also does poetry and wants to show people his softer side, but isn't very good at it.
-->'''Halder:''' LOVE ME!
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: For such a gruff manly-man, he has a rather high-pitched scream.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: He is afraid of mice, due to an incident of finding a mouse in his jock strap when he was younger.

'''Favorite Quotations:''' ''"I'm watching you...MAGGOTS."'']]

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/JamieWatson

Ron is the mall's security cop, whose appearance and mannerisms bear a striking similarity to Creator/ChristopherWalken. He is one of the show's possible antagonists, being a major enemy to Jonesy and Jude, since he constantly tries to thwart their pranks and scams. Ron rules the mall with an iron fist by punishing teens hanging out or working in it for the most ridiculous actions. Despite his age and experience, Ron, ironically, doesn't know what a Fascist is. Ron has a severe hatred for teenagers, especially for the gang, considering them the "biggest threat to mall security in all history of threats to mall security". He hires Kai, then he fires him on "The New Guy." He is a Vietnam War Veteran (which brings his nationality into question, as Canada was not involved in that conflict) and is seen to have several sudden flashbacks of his days in the war in the least expected moments, something which has become a running gag throughout the series. He has codenames for each member of the gang: Caitlin being "Cupcake," Nikki being "Nose Ring," Wyatt being "Coffee Pot," Jen being "Gym Sock," Jude being "Hang Ten" and Jonesy being "Maverick." In turn, he is known by most people, notably the main six, as "Ron the Rent-a-Cop." Taking this all into consideration, he apparently suffers from PTSD. However, despite his hatred for teens, Ron seems to share a bond or sort of friendship with Jude, since at one point during the show, both of them got hooked on a soap opera that they would watch together in Ron's office. Ironically enough, Jonesy, Jude and Wyatt discover in the episode "Life Slaver" that Ron used to be a rebellious troublemaker/prankster in the mall during the 70's.
----
%%* AlmightyJanitor
* ComfortFood: Chocolate-covered jellybeans were his favourite candy as a kid. When Jen starts selling him boxes of the stuff in "Welcome to the Darth Side," it becomes his GRatedDrug. He even gains a 5 o'clock shadow because of his addiction to the candy.
* TheComicallySerious: Dirty Harry as a mall cop. Although given the mall has almost one thousand stores...
* FormerTeenRebel: The guys find old security footage of a young Ron acting ''exactly'' like Jonesy.
* GoodAllAlong: Prior to "Dude of the Living Dead" he was one of the antagonists, but ever since the episode (despite it being a dream), he got cemented into a much more prominent, respected, protagonistic role. Especially with Jude where they are shown bonding over a soap opera (makes sense considering it was [[spoiler: his dream]]).
--> Jonesy: "I've never been so glad to see the Mall Cop."
* GoodIsNotNice: Ron comes down hard, but ultimately, he's just doing his job.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Even though he's a professional mall cop himself, he has also questionably committed a couple of crimes himself, as well, with "How the Rent-a-Cop Stole Christmas" probably showcasing this trait from him the most.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Like Coach Halder, Ron is often abrasive towards the gang, especially towards the guys, but he has moments where he shows them leniency.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: He is part Creator/ChristopherWalken by physical appearance and part Creator/ClintEastwood by attitude.
* PetTheDog: He took care of Emma Jr., Jen’s and Jonesy’s baby half-sister, until the crew manage to find her.
* TeenHater: Ron has a strong distaste for teenagers. Some episodes show him obsessively stalking the protagonists in order to fine them for even the most minor of infractions.
* TookALevelInKindness: He becomes less hostile and more friendly to the gang in future seasons considering that some episodes show him interacting with some of the members of the gang and getting along with them very well. He even lets Jude go out in order to say goodbye to Nikki after the former convinces him what's it like to miss his childhood.
* TheStoic: Ron is not one to show emotion.

'''Favorite Quotations:''' ''"This movie meant more to me than your life!"'']]

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/AdamReid

Wayne is the manager (and later owner) of "Underground Video", a video rental store which specializes in independent films. First introduced in episode "Going Underground", Wayne is a sarcastic, cynical, sardonic, and pessimistic know-it-all who only befriends people whom he considers have knowledge of cinematography close to or equal to his own. Because of these standards, out of the gang, Wayne really only befriends Jude. Wayne hates Jonesy and everything that Jonesy likes, especially his favourite movie, "Top M16" (a play on Top Gun). Jude and Wyatt found themselves working for Wayne in the episode "Going Underground" after Wyatt was fired from "Spin This", while Jude's stand "Stick-It" was closed by the health inspector (see above for more information). Despite being short and overweight, Wayne is shown to be somewhat physically strong, since in episode "Dirty Work" he beats up Jonesy for stealing his fries, and in "Career Day", he dunks Wyatt and Jude in the pet store aquarium for ruining his "The 77th Samurai" limited edition tape. He is constantly heard listening to The Clash on his headphones. After years of watching movies, Wayne has gained the ability to somehow know which movie a person should see. In the fourth season episode "6 Teens and a Baby," he ends up getting a job at Burger [=McFlipsters=] with Wyatt after Underground Video shuts down (presumably due to a lack of business).
----
* AmbiguouslyBi: In The List, he didn’t seem to mind it when Jonsey handed him a photocopy of his butt while also aiming to get a crack at Jonsey’s little black book.
* CrazyPrepared: He made a shrine dedicated to his favourite movie of all time in Underground Video with the tape as a centerpiece, but when Jude carelessly records over it, Wayne reveals he has an "idiot-proof" backup at home.
* DeadpanSnarker: He can give Nikki a run for her money in terms of cynical sarcasm.
* DisproportionateRetribution:
** Fires Wyatt over accidentally spilling coffee on a limited edition tape. The above quote was what he had to say about it.
** Before that, he fires Jonesy minutes after hiring him simply for liking the movie, "Top M16s", a movie Wayne adamantly hates.
* {{Expy}}: He is one of [[Creator/JackBlack Barry]] from the film adaptation of ''Literature/HighFidelity'', almost to the point of CaptainErsatz. The only real difference between the two characters is that Wayne's a film snob while Barry's a music snob.
* FatBastard: Not a very physically fit person, nor is he rather pleasant.
* TheGrinch: Does not like Christmas and thinks that all Christmas movies suck. [[spoiler: He changes after [[YetAnotherChristmasCarol a visit from the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future]]]].
* {{Irony}}: In "A Ding from Down Under", Wayne fired Wyatt because the latter spilled coffee on a DVD copy of ''Top M16s''. Later in "6 Teens and a Baby", the former lost his job there (supposedly due to bad management), and ''now'' he's working with Wyatt at Burger [=McFlipster=]'s for the rest of the series.
* HiddenDepths: He is really good at finding the perfect romantic movie depending on the customer's relationship.
* HonorBeforeReason: Would rather insult customers for their choice of movies rather than allow them to make the purchase and make money if he considered it a disrespect to films. He had this habit when he worked at the burger joint with Wyatt for a bit, making scathing comments at a man ordering a veggie burger.
* {{Jerkass}}: Insults everyone, including customers, for renting movies he doesn't like.
* PetTheDog: During ''Role Reversal'', he was surprisingly kind towards Caitlin.
* SitcomArchnemesis: He and Jonesy have an on-going conflict considering that the latter likes Top M-16 which happens to be one of Wayne's most hated movies. In fact because of his hatred for the aformentioned movie it's the reason why he refused to hire Jonesy at his work-place.
* SurroundedByIdiots: How he views the gang (mainly the guys) and the others they hang out with.

'''Interests''': Keeping up the latest trends.\
'''Favorite Quotations:''' ''"Welcome to the Khaki Barn"'', ''"Have a Khaki day!"'', ''"EEEEEHHHH!"'']]

->''Voiced by:'' Creator/EmilieClaireBarlow (Chrissy), Creator/StephanieAnneMills (Kirsten), Lauren Lipson (Kristen)

The Clones are coworkers of Nikki Wong at the Khaki Barn clothing store, where Chrissy's the manager (therefore making her Nikki's boss) while Kirsten and Kristen are sales associates alongside Nikki. Nikki nicknamed the three girls The Clones because, except for their hairstyles and eye colors, all three look/sound/act alike, fitting right into the teenybopper stereotype (including not acting very smart, religiously following the latest teen trends and fads and frequently chatting about them mindlessly, much to Nikki's annoyance) and believe that individualism is overrated and that conformity is the way to go for them and everyone else, making them the direct opposites of Nikki. Kirsten and Kristen are normally bossed around and told everything to do by Chrissy to the point that when Chrissy is away and can't boss them around, they usually look to Nikki as their role model/leader. As a reflection of their gabby and gossipy natures, all three Clones are also physically depicted with big, wide mouths and comparatively thinner jaws than other characters on the show.
\
The Clones do not like Nikki very much and are often intimidated by her (and sometimes even scared of her), and Nikki thinks very little of The Clones' personalities and does all she can not to fit the Khaki Barn's mold (although Chrissy nearly succeeded once in turning Nikki into a Clone in "Employee of the Month" by using reverse psychology), but The Clones do not seem to mind having Nikki around at work because her lack of motivation to make sales means more for them.
----
* BadBoss: Played with by Chrissy. She [[JustifiedTrope justifies]] it towards Nikki, but [[ZigZaggingTrope zig-zags]] it towards Kirsten and Kristen.
* CatchPhrase: Whenever a customer comes into their store, they greet them with "Welcome to the Khaki Barn!" and when a customer leaves, they say "Have a Khaki day!".
* ClosetGeek: Chrissy is a Franchise/StarWars fan. Her friends had no idea until Jonesy let it slip.
* CuteButCacophonic: All three have childish, high-pitched voices, and whenever they {{Squee}}, it is often a group squee, and Nikki in particular is annoyed by it.
* {{Dumb Blonde}}s: Chrissy is the smartest of the three, although that's not saying much.
* {{Expies}}: Of [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast the Bimbettes]].
* EveryoneHasStandards: They were even in shock that Serena [[DumpedViaTextMessage broke up with Wyatt over a text message.]] And when Stone broke up with Nikki to get back together with his ex, Chrissy offered her things to throw at him.
* GoldMakesEverythingShiny: In one episode, they all wear identical gold dresses.
* {{Jerkass}}: Mainly towards Nikki, though she does instigate the conflict most of the time.
* MyHairCameOutGreen: In the subplot of one episode, Kristen and Kirsten dye their hair brown as part of some new trend, but eventually try dying their hair back to its original blonde-color--''however'', they end up accidentally turning their hair green, which they assumed was caused by accidentally over-processing the hair dye they used. Nikki helps them with their issue by giving them blonde wigs that they can wear until the hair-dye they used wears off.
* {{Leitmotif}}: The music that plays during scenes in the Khaki Barn.
* SatelliteCharacter: Most of their screentime consists of them interacting with Nikki and the Khaki Barn customers. In fact there's rarely a scene where they interact with anyone other than the aforementioned characters.
* SimpletonVoice: Their childish high-pitched voices befit their lack of intelligence.
* {{Squee}}: Their single worst annoying trait; something trendy excites them and they let out a shrill squeal. Not helped in that it's often a ''group'' squee.
* ThemeTwinNaming: Kirsten and Kristen, although none of the Clones are actually related to each other (they just happen to look identical to each other).
* ThoseTwoGuys: Kirsten and Kristen; Chrissy is more independent.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: They play the Girly Girls to Nikki’s Tomboy.

Darth is that freaky nerd that appears in every high school who knows waaaay too much about ''The Force'' and owns ''The Jedi's Guide to Life''.
\
Darth works at The Stereo Shack and carries a light saber to the job with him. He may well be the next aerospace engineer at NASA, but as far as his career as a teen goes, he's an utter social disaster.
\
For a long time, Darth had a hopeless crush on Nikki...but would pretty much date just about any girl who asked. Darth also had a deep-seated hatred for Jonesy, who used to bully him when they were in middle school.
\
These days, Darth is dating Julie the "Taco Girl", his soul mate. He is known to help out the 6 teens in an emergency, and is known as the guy the gang goes to when they need some techno chaos (like having Darth set off all the alarms in the mall).
----
* ArchEnemy: Considered Jonesy this for a time, but by the end of season #2, the two had mostly resolved their conflict, with Jonesy actually complimenting Darth after he got back together with his girlfriend.
* BadassBookworm: At times. [[spoiler:He manages to beat Jonesy on the wrestling mat in "Wrestlemania".]]
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: He may look like a bespectacled dweeb who speaks with a lisp, but do not be fooled. 588* ShoutOut: A ''Franchise/StarWars'' fanboy.
* SitcomArchnemesis: He and Jonesy have a conflict considering that the latter used to bully him back in middle school by giving him wedgies.
* TechnoWizard: Has a high level of knowledge on most things related to technology, though this rarely comes into use during episodes.

Starr was once the laid back employee of "Vegan Island", a dedicated vegan who loved extreme sports, relaxing, and yoga.

Jude and Starr met after Jude's difficult break-up with a computerized armchair, but didn't have a first formal date until Jude and Starr discovered they both enjoyed watching fountain diving. After a disastrous first date (Jude threw up in Starr's mouth), it took months for Starr to forgive him (and even longer for Jude to work up the courage to ask her out again).

Starr transformed into a goth in the episode "Lights Out" and while Jude tried to change with her, ultimately Starr (who decided she wanted to be called Nebula) broke up with Jude because she wanted to go her own way. 612* {{Goth}}: As Nebula.
* GranolaGirl: She works at a vegan food stand.
* HandyFeet: Prefered to use her feet and toes to handle transactions while doing yoga at her workplace whenever doing poses that restricted the use of her hands. Except it was a health code no-no and she was too oblivious to notice it disgustsed the customers.
* InsufferableGenius: What she becomes after adopting a nerd persona. She and Jude tried pursuing a relationship again, but Starr ultimately dumps him due to feeling that he's not "intelligent enough" for her.
* {{Jerkass}}: Upon becoming an InsufferableGenius, she loses most of her redeeming qualities.
* LoveHurts: Her eventual StarCrossedLovers relationship with Jude.
* NiceGirl: Before her transformation as a nerd she was one of the nicer characters in the show considering that she was very laidback and mellow just like Jude.
* RollerbladeGood: Whenever she's not barefoot, she is often seen in rollerblades.
* SophisticatedAsHell: "You need a healthy way to cleanse your aura, without buggin' the crap out of all your friends."
* StatuesqueStunner: She is very tall.

Mother of the young mall terror Stanley, the Yummy Mummy is a major flirt, teasing the men and women of the mall (Jonesy in particular).
\
She spends a fair amount of time at the mall, and when she isn't stressing out about her wild son, you can see her shopping just about everywhere.
\
Yummy Mummy doesn't appear to be a afraid of anything, she even taken on Jonesy in a wrestling ring (yes, she lost, but in all fairness, Jonesy was cheating...).
----
* OddFriendship: With Jen's mom in the wedding dinner episode. During Jen's mom's shower, Yummy Mummy is there with her. It's odd because Jen's mother is nothing like Yummy Mummy.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: It's never revealed what her real name is.
* MrsRobinson: She has been shown to be attracted to men younger than her, including teenagers. Several episodes imply she specifically has a thing for Jonesy.
* PushoverParents: She never bothers to discipline her son Stanley.

Julie works at Wonder Taco in the mall can most often be seen wearing a giant hard shell taco hat on her head. Julie has no patience for rude customers, and will happily spit in anyone's food if they bug her on the job.
\
Julie has the bad luck of having a giant retainer on at all times, making it hard to see when she's happy, as the whole rig keeps her mouth forced open all the time.
\
Julie has had a secret crush on Darth for a very long time, but she finally managed to get Darth to notice her, and the two of them have been fairly happy together ever since.
\
Julie is able to convince Darth to help out our gang of teens, as she's more sympathetic to their problems than Darth is.
----
* BracesOfOrthodonticOverkill: She's also got headgear.
* BadJobWorseUniform: Her taco hat looks pretty ridiculous.
* {{Fangirl}}: Of ''Star Wars,'' like her boyfriend Darth. She's even worn Princess Leia's gold bikini at least once.
* {{Gonk}}: Like her boyfriend (i.e. Darth) she's got a very unattractive appearance considering that she wears braces and speaks with a lisp.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's not the nicest person and has no qualms about serving filthy tacos to bad customers, but she'll help out the gang when they need it--in fact, she tends to be a little more sympathetic to them than Darth is.
* SecondLove: To Darth, as he initially had feelings for Nikki before dating her.
* SheCleansUpNicely: Averted--she does not look any prettier in a pink dress or [[Franchise/StarWars a gold bikini]], even with her hair down.
* TamperingWithFoodAndDrink: As Nikki notes to Jonesy and Jude in [[ThePilot the show's first episode]], Julie has a tendency of doing this, but only to people she doesn't like (and usually if they were mean to her). For example, after Jonesy and Jude made fun of her for her job at Wonder Taco, she filled up their tacos with dirt from a dustpan, then spat in them.

Tricia's your typical high school "popular" girl. She has all the finest clothes, dates all the "popular" guys, and would NEVER be caught dead working in the mall! Or any other kind of part-time job for that matter.
\
Tricia was once best friends with Caitlin... until Caitlin's parents took Caitlin's credit cards away. When Caitlin was forced to get a job, Tricia decided she wanted nothing to do with Caitlin and ended their friendship on a whim. Tricia now spends her time shopping with her "new" friends (mostly two girls named Mandy and Gwen) and taking every opportunity to humiliate Caitlin and our gang of 6 (who she also considers too unpopular to be worth her time) at the lemon.
----
* AlphaBitch: Definitely a strong example of this--just watch any episode where she has a major role.
* AttentionWhore: She hijacks Caitlin's Chill TV Sweet Sixteen party in "Sweet 6teen."
* BigBad: Almost every episode she appears in has her trying to ruin or sabotage the 6teen gang, especially Caitlin.
* BirthdayBuddies: Tricia claims in "Sweet 6teen" that when she and Caitlin were still friends, they had talked about having a joint Sweet 16-party. This suggests that she and Caitlin share the same birthday (or at least have birthdays that are close enough together that it would be more practical to have a joint party instead of separate parties).
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Stopped having any prominent appearances after "Double Date" in season three--in fact, aside from a cameo near of end of Part-2 of "Bye Bye Nikki," Tricia hardly appears at all in the show's fourth and final season.
* CrocodileTears: She uses them to con Jonesy in "Spring Fling."
* DevilInPlainSight: Because of her excessively stuck-up personality, her chances for redemption are little-to-none.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Oh, how low she goes in Season Two's "A Crime For Fashion" when framing Caitlin for shoplifting at Albatross and Finch. Her reasoning? All because Caitlin rightfully pointed out how big a {{Jerkass}} she really is...which Tricia [[TooDumbToLive is quick]] to [[StupidEvil confirm.]]
* EvilCounterpart: To Caitlin. Both have wealthy upbringings, shallow interests, and boy-crazy states. However, Caitlin is more openly humane '''by a mile''', as opposed to Tricia, who is rather shameless with her careless doings.
* FalseFriend: "Sweet 6Teen" had her pretending to be friends again with Caitlin, who's having her Sweet Sixteen birthday featured on a TV show, just so she can appear on TV. She ends up double-crossing Caitlin and stealing the party.
* GirlPosse: In the form of Gwen and Mandy.
* GoldDigger: She's only interested in people with money--like in "Prank'd," when it seemed like Caitlin had her credit cards, Tricia turned into what essentially amounts to a StalkerWithoutACrush (or even a [[StalkerWithACrush Stalker]] ''[[StalkerWithACrush With]]'' [[StalkerWithACrush A Crush]]).
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Averted. While many of her outfits do have the color purple (including her normal attire), she isn't really one of the nicest people to have interactions with.
* {{Hypocrite}}: A shining example in "A Crime For Fashion". Despite generally treating most people, including her "friends" like crap and expecting to always get her way, she has the nerve to get offended by Caitlin rightly pointing out how bad her behavior is (when Caitlin didn't even know Tricia was eavesdropping) and proceeds to frame her ex-friend for shoplifting (i.e. [[NiceJobFixingItVillain completely validating Caitlin's opinion]]). Nobody was impressed when the truth was unveiled.
* JerkAss: Considering that she's the AlphaBitch of the show, what did you expect her personality to be: ''nice and sweet''?
* KarmaHoudini: The sole exception to her usual LaserGuidedKarma occurs in "Snow Job", in which she suffers zero repercussions for stealing Tara Johansen's boyfriend -- mainly because Tara is [[BreakTheHaughty just as much of a bitch as Tricia is]].
* KickTheDog: Does these a lot whenever she interacts with Caitlin and her friends, even for no reason at all.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Anytime Tricia tries doing something bad to any of the ''6teen'' gang, it ultimately backfires, with the main six coming out on top.
* LightFeminineAndDarkFeminine: The dark RichBitch to Caitlin's SpoiledSweet light.
* ThePsychoRangers: She leads another six teen clique. They took over the gang's regular table in an episode.
* ReusedCharacterDesign: She strongly resembles Megara from ''WesternAnimation/{{Hercules}},'' but they're nothing alike personality-wise (as Meg herself is nonetheless ''a lot'' more sympathetic than Tricia).
* RichBitch: Like Caitlin, Tricia comes from a rich family[[note]]Apparently, her family has enough money that she could have her parents build a new gymnasium for the high school that she and the main six attend[[/note]] and is one of the few teen characters on the show to not have a job at the mall. She looks down heavily on those who do have jobs, particularly Caitlin and her friends.
* SmugSnake: Tricia believes that she is above Caitlin and her friends; however, any time Tricia tries to upstage Caitlin, more often than not she fails.
* {{Tsundere}}: To a T, especially as a Type A. She has even displayed this in "Unhappy Anniversary", where her best friends Mandy and Gwen have told Caitlin not to have any romantic feelings for Zane because he was one of Tricia's old loves.
* VillainBall: "A Crime For Fashion" is a textbook example. She overhears Caitlin telling Jen about how rightly mean she is, so what does she do? Completely validates Caitlin's opinion of her by framing the latter for shoplifting. [[SarcasmMode Brilliant move.]]
* WeUsedToBeFriends: After Caitlin first moved to the area where the Galleria Mall is, Tricia was her best friend for at least a year; however, after Caitlin maxed out her credit card and was forced by her parents to get a job to pay it off, Tricia dropped her like a hot potato.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: Even after she isn't friends with Caitlin anymore since the first episode (just because of the latter's "loser job" at the Big Squeeze), as well as garnering new ones (i.e. Mandy and Gwen), Tricia herself is ''still'' not the most loyal companion one could ever had.

[[folder:Mandy and Gwen]]

Mandy and Gwen are Tricia's best friends after she drops Caitlin as a friend in the series' pilot episode--like Tricia, both girls have mean/rude/snobby attitudes and just as mean to Caitlin and her friends as Tricia is.
----
* GirlPosse: They serve as this to Tricia after she drops Caitlin as a friend.
* RichBitch: They're implied-but-not-confirmed to come from rich families, especially since neither of them appear to have jobs at the mall like Caitlin and the rest of the main six.
* SatelliteCharacter: Other than serving as Tricia's GirlPosse and acting as the muscle in her schemes (whether or not they have anything to do with Caitlin and/or the rest of the main six), they really don't have much of a role in the series. It's also implied that they didn't become friends with Tricia until after she stopped being friends with Caitlin, because in "The Khaki Girl," they seem genuinely surprised to learn that Tricia was actually friends with Caitlin at one point.
* WithFriendsLikeThese: Even though Mandy and Gwen are supposedly Tricia's best friends, she doesn't appear to be all that loyal to them--for example, whenever it seems that Caitlin's "rich" again, Tricia ultimately drops them in order to have Caitlin as her BFF again.

Serena is a high school senior at the same school as the rest of the gang. She manages "Spin This!" a music store at the mall.
\
While Wyatt was working at the same music store, he had a serious crush on Serena. She wasn't interested in him though, because he wasn't "mature" enough for her. Eventually Wyatt convinced Serena to go out with him, and things went well for a while, until...
\
Serena dumped Wyatt, in a text message! She decided Wyatt was TOO serious about the relationship, and didn't have the guts to tell him face to face. She got back together with her ex-boyfriend, Chad, one of her co-workers at the music store, and Wyatt had a VERY tough time getting over her.
----
* BitchInSheepsClothing: At first she seems like a mature and level-headed person, and when she and Wyatt were dating and Wyatt's insecurities about his relationship with her came up, Serena tried advising Wyatt to trust her more. But then Serena got back together with an ex-boyfriend of hers named Chad while she and Wyatt were still technically dating and ultimately [[DumpedViaTextMessage broke up with Wyatt through a text message instead of just doing it in person]].
** She actually gets worse as the series goes on, especially in the episodes after Wyatt finally gets over his feelings for her and moves on to other girls. For example, when Marlowe (Wyatt's first girlfriend after Serena) got a job at Spin This, Serena got jealous of their relationship and tried getting back together with Wyatt behind Marlowe's back (and while Serena was still technically dating Chad, the guy she had dumped Wyatt for in the first place).
* {{Hypocrite}}: The main reason Serena broke up with Wyatt was apparently because she felt that Wyatt wasn't "mature" enough for her--but instead of just being honest with Wyatt about how she was feeling (and breaking up with in person), she chose to break up with through a text message and got back together with a guy who, though older than Wyatt (albeit only by a year or two), is ironically/arguably less mature than Wyatt is (Serena had gotten together with the guy while she and Wyatt were still technically dating). And then when Wyatt finally got over his feelings for Serena and moved on to other girls, Serena got jealous and tried ruining at least two of his following relationships (even though she was the one who broke things off when she and Wyatt were dating).
** Aside from trying to ruin Wyatt's relationship with Marlowe, Serena also tried sabotaging Wyatt's relationship with Kylie Smylie in the popstar's titular episode. In that particular episode, Serena notices that Wyatt and Kylie are clearly developing feelings for each other--Serena gets jealous and, at one point, pulls Wyatt aside and tries convincing Wyatt to give her (and their relationship) another chance, adding that she and Chad have broken up again (only this time it's for good, according to Serena). But at this point, Wyatt's completely moved from on anything to do with Serena (at least in a romantic sense) and advises Serena to do the same.
* SassyBlackWoman: But not in a good way.
* TookALevelInJerkass: She becomes an even bigger bitch after she breaks up with Wyatt considering that she fires him and when he gets gets in a relationship with Marlowe she tries to sabotage said relationship by convincing him to be with her again.
* UnrequitedLoveSwitcheroo: It's implied that Serena was never that into Wyatt in the first place, but it wasn't until after Wyatt actually got over his feelings for Serena and moved on to other girls that she started returning his (former) feelings for her and made at least two attempts to get back together with him.

Marlowe is a member of Wyatt's band, and he had a huge crush on her. It took Wyatt a very long time to work up the courage to ask her out, and eventually wrote a song (which she accidentally heard) that brought the two of them together.
\
Marlowe has a great deal of patience, and is very accepting and supportive of Wyatt's crazy adventures with the rest of the gang (like the time the guys had a "man off" to see who smelled the best after a week without washing any part of their bodies).
\
Even when Wyatt got the whole band in trouble by signing a contract with Burger [=McFlipsters=] corporate office, Marlowe still supported him, staying with him when the band wanted him gone.
----
* BetterAsFriends: She and Wyatt were getting on each other's nerves after they started spending way too much time together. In the end, after talking it over, they mutually decide to break up and figure that they're probably better off as JustFriends--or as Marlowe puts it, "the best of exes."
* BirdsOfAFeather: With Wyatt.
* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: Unlike Serena, who did continue to appear on an occasional basis after her breakup with Wyatt, Marlowe more or less vanished from the show entirely after their breakup in "Date and Switch," not even appearing in the finale. 782Jen's older sister Courtney has always been seen as the more glamorous and popular one.
\
Courtney's a pro shopper, a top basketball player and loved by everyone (especially Jude, Wyatt, and Jonesy) except her younger sister Jen, who's very jealous and angry at her sister.
\
Courtney also has a way of getting our gang into trouble. Aside from telling embarrassing stories about Jen, she convinced the gang to get fake [=IDs=] and sneak into a nightclub in the mall. It wasn't until Courtney left the gang hanging that they finally realized they already had the cooler sister's (meaning Jen's) attention.
\
But when Jen forces Courtney into helping her bail the gang the out of mall-jail, Courtney finally reveals the real reason why she came for spring break instead of going skiing with her friends like she usually does: Courtney got kicked out of school, though she doesn't specify why (Jen figures that Courtney flunked all her classes). Courtney also confesses that she's always been secretly jealous of Jen and claims that, despite what Jen always thought, Jen's the true "favorite" of the family, being the one that their parents are actually proud of.
\
Recently, Courtney and Jen have banded together to defend themselves from their new stepbrothers, and they are much closer as sisters and friends.
----
* BigSisterBully: The first three-quarters of "It's Always Courtney, Courtney, Courtney!". She also is this to Jonesy's younger brothers after the Mastersons and Garcias move in together.
* CoolBigSis: To everyone but Jen--at least until the others start seeing Courtney for the person she ''really'' is.
* EasilyForgiven: Once Courtney admitted that she's always been secretly jealous of Jen and explains that Jen's the one they're parents are actually proud of instead of Courtney, Jen seemed rather quick to forgive her sister.
* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: In her first appearance of the show, despite her social popularity, it's revealed that ''she's'' the one who's jealous of her younger sister Jen for having the more meaningful accomplishments, such as being best friends with the rest of the gang (including Caitlin, the latest member).
* JerkAss: For the first half of her debut episode she went out of her way to mess with Jen by humiliating her and stealing her friends.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: What she ultimately is--deep down, Courtney really does care about her sister, their stepbrothers (although she gets along better with Jonesy than she does with Diego or Robbie) and later, their baby half-sister, Emma Jr..
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Even though Courtney's technically the oldest of the Masterson-Garcia kids, Jen's always been the more "mature" and "responsible" one of her and Courtney and is also the most mature and responsible of the Masterson-Garcia kids.
* SkewedPriorities: When Jonesy accidentally sees Jen naked during a fitting for their parents' wedding, Courtney mentions it's better that this happened now than when Jen grew in her boobs. Not really the issue at hand here...
* TheUnfavorite: How Jen initially saw herself compared to her sister, but Courtney later argues that Jen's the true favorite of the family and even claims that their parents have said that they wish Courtney was more like Jen (in that they want Courtney to be more mature and responsible).
* WhamLine: When Courtney reveals to Jen the real reason she came home for spring break instead of going skiing with her friends like she normally would've.

Lydia is simply crazy. At one time she dated Jonesy, but she was so very VERY clingy that she terrified him and his friends.
\
Lydia once brought Jonesy an anatomically correct model of her heart to show him how much she loved him [[Main/{{Squick}} (it was very gross)]], but she couldn't make him a model of her soul (because souls are invisible).
\
When Jonesy broke up with her, she still followed him around "just because we aren't dating anymore doesn't mean we can't go out, right?"
\
More recently, Lydia has become even more crazy (if that's even possible), chasing after Wyatt, confusing Wyatt with Wayne, and giving out model roosters to the ones she loves. The gang sometimes calls her the "Crazy Chicken Lady". Oh, and she still isn't quite over Jonesy yet.
\
Lydia has some scary eye twitches when she is confused, and pretty much everyone knows to run when she comes near.
----
* ClingyJealousGirl: Jonesy mentions that she's hot but ''way'' too clingy.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She somehow confuses Wayne (who is white) for Wyatt (who is black) and calls the two identical twin siblings no less.

* {{Expy}}: Of Stacy from ''Film/WaynesWorld''. Lydia even uses one of Stacy's lines practically verbatim.
* OutOfFocus: In Seasons 3 and 4, she only ever makes non-speaking cameos and doesn't show any kind of romantic interest in Jonesy when she interacts with him.
* PsychoExGirlfriend: She was crazy ''before'' Jonesy broke up with her.
* StalkingIsLove: She continues to stalk Jonesy, even after he breaks up with her.
* {{Yandere}}: To a '''very''' strong T whenever she's around any guy.
