!Rosenkreuzstilette ("Blades of the Rose Cross") and Associates

[[folder:General]]
A military wing of the Holy Empire made of Magi. They were founded by Rosenkreuz, who sacrificed his life to the Orthodox Church in exchange for the organization being formed so that Magi may no longer be persecuted. The new leader, Count Michael Zeppelin, is leading them in a coup against the Empire. They serve as the main enemy organization of the first game and the secondary enemy group of the sequel.
----
* AntiVillain: They are rebelling against the Empire because they fear that persecution of Magi is beginning once again, and they want to protect their fellow Magi from harm. While some are more antagonistic than others, none of them are flat-out evil [[spoiler:with the sole exception of Iris, who is not an official member]].
* HeelFaceTurn: They collectively do this at the end of the first game, ceasing their rebellion aginast the Holy Empire and welcoming Spritia, Grolla, and [[spoiler:Kahl]] back in.
* TheRevolutionWillNotBeCivilized: They are waging war against the Empire because they feel they are being persecuted, as are the Magi in general. However, their first act is to burn down the Black Forest where Lilli's fairy tribe live, endangering them all, and Freudia outright doesn't care that she put their lives at stake.
* WeAREStrugglingTogether: In contrast to the first game where they are all (aside from Spiritia and Grolla) united in their fight against the Empire, ''Freudenstachel'' has them split and doing their own thing, completely disjointed while the Schwarzkreuz are hunting them down. Trauare and Zorne are actively trying to kill the Church's army, Grolla gets possessed by her sword, Luste is off playing superhero, Schwer-Muta is hiding in the Zeppy ruins, Sichte fights off anyone who comes near her thinking they might be a homonculus copy, Liebea is nowhere to be seen, [[spoiler:her brother Kahl is off investigating the Schwarzkreuz]], Schirarch betrayed RKS to join Schwarzkreuz, and Doris (who even calls RKS "random and unorganized") actively refuses to follow Luste's orders, thinking her to be an idiot (and she's not wrong). And every last one aside from Liebea comes into conflict with Freudia for one reason or another. This is likely a result of their commander, Count Michael Zeppelin, dying in the first game, leaving them without strong leadership.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: They wage war against the Empire and are willing to kill innocents in order to achieve independence and a world where Magi do not have to fear persecution.

->''"I can't just give up. It's not too late. If you give it your all, you can change the world."''

->'''Voiced by:''' Michika Kataoka
'''Introduced in''': ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

TheHeroine of the first game. She's a straightforward and honest young lady as well as a training instructor, treated with deep respect and admiration by even the imperial soldiers. She's [[IdiotHero naive and kind of a klutz]] and [[SuperDrowningSkills sinks like a brick in water]], but at least her fighting instincts are strong and her moral convictions are second to none. Her RKS friends call her "Tia" for short.

Her ability is called Seelegewehr, which gathers magical energy from the immediate vicinity and releases it in the form of round magical bullets, which become stronger the more they are charged. They can be used without restraint since they don't tap into her mana supply. She can also copy the abilities of any Magus she defeats and use them in combat.

----
!!Tropes related with Spiritia:
* AndThatsTerrible: Her reaction to [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] having caused RKS's rebellion.
-->"I don't get it... I just... don't. You're not the kind of [[spoiler:kid]] who would do something like this!"
* AllLovingHeroine: She has no qualms about trying to befriend the opponents she defeats within her very own squad of RKS Magi, and even voices how she wants to help Graf Zeppelin as long as he makes things right.
* BadassInDistress: She spends the whole first game taking down the entire RKS rebellion all by herself (with Grolla doing her own thing as well), but the sequel opens with her captured by the Schwarzkreuz.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's pretty much a nice girl. But when her friends start a war against the Empire to build their new world and start it all off by burning the forest, she immediately fights to stop them. [[spoiler:And after finding out what kind of monster Iris really is, she soon enough goes after her and attacks her to stop her from getting away with the whole coup she started for her amusement.]]
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler:Part of the final battle in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' involves Freu fighting Tia, who has been brainwashed by Iris.]]
* CallingYourAttacks: She says the names of the weapons she uses when she unleashes them after fully charging them.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: In her case, defeating her friends in combat means that she is able to convince them that the rebellion is going to be less than worth it. She ends up being right [[spoiler:for [[RightForTheWrongReasons different reasons]] than she initially thought.]]
* {{Determinator}}: She never gives up, no matter what. And it's all part of her unrivaled sense of justice.
* DistressedDamsel: Gets captured by the Schwarzkreuz at the beginning of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
%%* ElegantGothicLolita
* ElementalBaggage: Whenever she uses an elemental weapon outside the stage she got it from (Zornebombe, Klageharnish, Freudenstachel, et cetera).
* FanservicePack: It could be just AuthorAppeal, but Spiritia's breasts have become larger and buoyant in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' compared to her appearance [[http://kurotama.sakura.ne.jp/product/rks/image/ch01.jpg in the first game]].
* FinalBoss: [[spoiler:In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', alongside Seraph Iris, who is fought right after her]].
* {{Foil}}: To Pamela. Both of them are marked as the first members of their respective organizations, they have white long-sleeved shirts as part of their outfits, and they're also straightforward people with their views of justice as well. Wheras Pamela tends to be haughty and arrogant at times, Tia, on the other hand, is honest and kind to others and has moral convictions that are second to none. Also, while Pamela uses a magical sword, Tia has no need to wield a weapon for magical uses.
* GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: [[spoiler:She is a reincarnation of Rosenkreuz with gold hair and a white dress.]]
* GoodIsNotSoft: She's rather kind and straightforward, but that doesn't mean she won't resort to violence when it's needed. She does always try the "soft" way first, though.
* [[GuileHero Guile Heroine]]: [[spoiler:Tia graduates into this in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. Iris had Schwarzkreuz kidnap her and masses of powerful Magi as part of her plan to steal their mana and use it to fuse with her thinking it would ensure the reincarnation of Rosenkreuz being whole again. Unfortunately for Iris, [[OutGambitted she didn't count on the fact that Tia knew what she was planning to do to her and sealed Rosenkreuz's spirit and his ability to tap into the strength of others so she could make sure Iris couldn't use it.]] That way, she was able to save Freu, who returned the favor for her afterwards by freezing Iris as payback and punishment for all her atrocities.]]
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: While she can have just about any hair colour, her standard is blonde and it matches her kindness.
* TheHeart: The one cast member who makes an effort for everyone to get along. Even if they need to be beat up to get it, first.
* HeroicBSOD: She gets this when [[spoiler:Iris attacks and fatally injures her after killing her father]]. and afterwards reveals the whole, terrible truth behind the war. Things calm down a little when [[spoiler:Freu comes just in time to save her, and even more so when she reassures her that both #1: she will be alright despite having overdone the room-freezing attack a bit, and #2: she'll release Kahl and sort out and take care of every other problem left behind by Iris]].
* TheHero: The heroine of the first game (alongside Grolla), as she fights against the RKS rebellion to save her friends inside from a horrible fate.
* IAmNotLeftHanded: [[spoiler:As a boss in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'', her attack pattern is somewhat easy to avoid. When her health goes low, however, Lilli will give her a Cross Tank and then Spiritia will whip up several more powerful attacks.]]
* IAmWhatIAm: Even if she really were [[spoiler:Rosenkreuz's reincarnation]], Lilli says that she'll always be herself.
* IdiotHair: Has a noticable ahoge and is a bit of a ditz sometimes, [[DownplayedTrope but never outright idiotic]].
* IdiotHero: Not only did she actually trust [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] and take it upon herself to stop the war (by SwiperNoSwiping method no less -- though fortunately she's strong enough to fight them if it fails) without knowing that [[spoiler:she started it for laughs]], but her profile even says that she's kind of a klutz and sinks like a brick in water. Granted, Spiritia's friends and even Count Zeppelin (the Magi leader, who starts the whole coup) also don't know that [[spoiler:Iris has planned it all]]. The only one knowing this is Grolla. [[spoiler:Iris being "kidnapped" doesn't help.]]
* KaleidoscopeHair: As part of her PowerCopying shtick, her hair color will change to that of the Magi whose power she is currently wielding.
* KamehameHadoken: Her fully-charged Seelegewehr.
* TheKlutz: Tends to mess up, but is ultimately good at heart.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "AM Fight No. 1" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' title theme (later used as Luste's talk theme in the sequel)), "The Ground Which Can Shine" by Silver Chaos (Opening Stage theme), "Vampire Revolution" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme)[[spoiler:, "Fighting Spirits" by Silver Chaos (boss theme), "Scarlet Moon Castle" by Unlimited Hellest (Final Stage talk theme (shared with Iris)), "Awakening the Profound Evil" by Wingless Seraph (Final Stage boss (also shared with Iris))]].
* LightIsGood: Her default attack is this.
* NiceGirl: Spiritia is kind to just about everyone she meets, is honest to a fault, always looks for better ways to solve other people's problems, and honestly believes that her kind will always find a place they can fit in even if they were to lose their original place in the world.
* NonElemental: In the original game, as the protagonist, she is not weak to any of the bosses’ attacks. Though in the sequel, [[spoiler:she is weak to Frostklinge]].
* OhCrap: Quite often done when she sees that her friends are participating in the war; her expressions in seeing and realizing that are quite priceless. Take this particular set of dialogues for example:
-->'''Spiritia''': "Trau, not you too!? Why!?"\
'''Trauare''': "Oh? What exactly did you take me for? A pacifist? Hardly. I just don't like wasting effort. And that's exactly what you're doing right now, Tia."\
'''Spiritia''': "That's not true...!"
* OhNoNotAgain: As the Imperial Training Hall starts shaking for the second time after Talos flies off with Iris in tow and Lilli follows...
-->'''Spiritia''': "Not again! The place is under attack!"
* OnlySaneMan: Probably the Only Sane Girl of the cast, considering how she doesn't attack people on sight and wants them to get along. But it always turns into a fight anyway.
* PowerCopying: She has the special ability to copy others' abilities. [[spoiler:This is a trait she may have inherited from Rosenkreuz.]]
* PowerDyesYourHair: Using different weapons from the other RKS members she'd fought will [[KaleidoscopeHair change her hair color]] corresponding to the hair color of the original user.
* PowerGivesYouWings: She has her Silberflügel "Eins" and Silberflügel "Zwei", both which are abilities to create platforms with wings.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Delivers an awesome one [[spoiler:to Iris after defeating her in the final battle of the first game]].
-->'''Tia''': "[[spoiler:Iris]], you're wrong. I won because everyone was cheering me on. No one truly fights alone. It's because you couldn't believe in others... because you couldn't love your fellow man... That's why you lost."\
[[spoiler:'''Iris''']]: "..."\
'''Tia''': "Give it up, [[spoiler:Iris]]."
* RightForTheWrongReasons: She ends up as this [[spoiler:when she finds out that Iris had caused the events of the game to happen for her amusement, instead of her initial assumption that Count Zeppelin was behind it all]].
* SkilledButNaive: When it comes to her skills and magical prowess, there's no doubt that Tia's a talented Magus, and her colleagues acknowledge this fact. Of course, though, her naivete makes her an easy target of manipulation, as [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] points out. Freu was also led to believe, in the first game, that her naiveness might end up being her FatalFlaw.
* SuperNotDrowningSkills: She swims like a brick, but she never drowns no matter how much time she spends in water.
* SwiperNoSwiping: She does this deal with her friends as well as Count Zeppelin, urging them to stop their futile war against the Empire. It never works without her having to beat them up first.
* TaremeEyes: As befitting a gentle character, she has those.
* TennisBoss: [[spoiler:As a boss in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'', she occasionally sics Lilli to attack you. You (as Grolla) can smack Lilli back to Tia with her sword.]]
* ThisCannotBe: Rare heroic version, but she is aghast to find that Count Michael has been practicing necromancy to revive Raimund.
-->''"I can't believe it...! The Count is even using the forbidden arts!?"''
* ThisIsUnforgivable: She and Lilli say two variations of this trope to [[spoiler:Iris before they fight her Iris Machine at the end of Iris Stage III]].
* ThouShaltNotKill: She said this at one point after beating Grolla in the main game after already having defeated Sichte before her, states that she never wanted to kill her in the first place. Then again, she spends her time not killing any of her colleagues after defeating them anyway.
-->'''Freudia''': (about Spiritia's refusal to kill her) "You possess so much power, yet you cannot do something so simple? Are your ideals truly that important to you?"\
'''Spiritia''': "This has nothing to do with ideals, Freu. I just want to protect the people from RKS as much as I want to protect the people of RKS, that's all..."
** This is also deconstructed, due to this, she took long enough to [[spoiler:deal the final blow to Iris, still hoping for her to learn her lessons. Not only Iris attempted an underhanded strike against her before the palace collapsed, she escaped, didn't learn any lessons at all and lived long enough to plot another scheme that involves having Tia kidnapped and then mind-controlled. Lots of trouble could have been avoided if she made an exception to the rule just that once.]]
* TomatoInTheMirror: Before the FinalBoss fight, as Spiritia confronts [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]], the latter starts laughing. Spiritia and Lilli call the villain [[YoureInsane crazy...]] before [[spoiler:she reveals that Spiritia is the legendary Rosenkreuz's other incarnation -- "Rosenkreuz's Stiletto."]]
-->'''[[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]]''': "I think I might just start believing in fate now. Ahhh, the feeling of hating another with every fiber of your being... It's such an amazing rush...! Oh, I'm so anxious to rip you apart! What about you? [[spoiler:You have the power of the world's finest magician coursing through your veins.]] How does it feel? Exhilarating? Intoxicating? Exuberant? Or perhaps such a puny vessel can't fully comprehend the magnificence of it all?"\
'''Lilli''': "[[IAmWhatIAm Tia will always be Tia]]! [[ShutUpHannibal So there!]]"\
'''Spiritia Rosenberg''': "Thanks, Lilli. I don't really know if [[spoiler:I possess Rosenkreuz's spirit... Or if I'm his other incarnation or whatnot... Or if I inherited his ability to tap into the strength of others'...]] But none of that matters when it comes to magic. Freu... Zorne... Trau... Luste... Grolla... Sichte... Liebea... Schwer... and Lilli... [[ThePowerOfFriendship It's because they support me that I have the will to fight. They're the source of my power]]. [[NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech That much, I know for sure!]]"
* TurnsRed: Interestingly, when using Grolla's weapon, Grollschwert, if she gets to half health, the weapon becomes stronger and can fire in three directions.
* WhatTheHellHero: Gives one to Grolla upon hearing her talk about [[spoiler:killing Iris]] in front of her in ''Grollschwert''.
-->'''Tia''': "RKS has also marked me as a traitor. I have to keep the Count from taking this any further!"\
'''Grolla''': "The Count, you say? He may be involved as well... Nevertheless, we must eliminate [[spoiler:Iris]] before this gets out of hand."\
'''Tia''': "What!? Grolla, please tell me you don't mean that...!"
* WorthyOpponent: [[spoiler:Iris]] amused herself with watching Tia give it her all, thus thinking of her as one.
* YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe: She says this after Luste, raring to play with her, says, "Game start! I go first!"
* YoureInsane: She says this to [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] in response to a LaughingMad fit from finding out where Spiritia got all her energy
-->'''Spiritia''': "[[spoiler:Iris]], have you lost your mind!?"
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Lilli]]
->''"I got it, Tia! Leave it to me!"''

Tia's little green FairyCompanion. Lilli's a curious and inquisitive fairy who's interested in learning about humans, Magi, and the outside world. Kind of a mischief maker, she'll also pout whenever things don't go her way. As a great friend to Tia herself, she can always be counted on in times of need.

Finding the Black Forest's Treasure in the Trauare Stage allows Tia to use Lilli to attack.

----
!!Tropes related with Lilli:
* AndThatsTerrible: When she sees [[spoiler:what Iris turns out to be]] after Count Zeppelin's defeat, she feels just as horrified as Tia.
-->'''Lilli''': [[spoiler:She's awful!]]
* ArmorPiercingQuestion: She gives one to Count Zeppelin after listening to his explanation as to why he started the war, which makes both Tia and the Graf realize something is off.
-->[[spoiler:"...Let me get this straight: The church wanted Iris dead. You found out about Karl. And that's the whole reason you started this war, right? If that's the case, why was Iris at the Training Hall when all this started?"]]
* {{Catchphrase}}: "Hunya!"
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Has light-green hair and green eyes.
* DoomedHometown: The burned forest in the Opening Stage happens to be the home of the fairies, and that includes hers. While the fairies made it out as confirmed by her, their home is now gone, and this motivates her to go with Spiritia on her quest.
* ExposedToTheElements: She wears a sash over a sleeveless top, leaving her navel exposed. One must wonder how she doesn't freeze up in, say, Freudia's stage.
* FairyCompanion: To Spiritia.
* GenkiGirl: Not even the burning of her home mentioned above is enough to keep her down for long.
* GreenEyedMonster: She's jealous whenever Tia mentions about her close friends, thinking that she's the closest friend Tia ever had.
* HomingProjectile: Once you obtain her secret treasure, you can use Lilli as a means to attack. Bring her out and she will automatically target any enemy onscreen, and she has a lot of strength to take out even the stronger ones with one shot excluding mid-bosses and bosses. She can also pierce through enemy defenses that render your projectiles useless and even pass through walls to attack them. Each attack though drains her mana so it's best to save her for really crowded areas.
* IdiotHair: Even though she's clearly not an idiot.
* MeaningfulName: Her name's derived from the Lilliputians of Gulliver's Travels fame.
* NoSenseOfDirection: Lilli apparently has lots of trouble finding her way around when she's not with Tia. This explains why she's only seen in the opening and ending in ''Freudenstachel''[[spoiler:, as she wasn't able to find where the High Chapel is located. Luckily, she still manages to find Tia again after Freu freezes Iris forever]].
* PintsizedPowerhouse: Lilli is barely bigger than Tia's hand, and sprite-wise, you can only see her fairy glow onscreen. Despite her diminutive size though, she is a lot stronger than she looks and has enough strength to take out enemies in one shot.
* PlatformingPocketPal: Only available after Tia gets a special item in the Trauare Stage.
* PrecisionFStrike: At least once should Tia target Zorne after beating Trau.
-->'''Zorne''': "Tia, I'm taking you down! Right here, right now!!"\
'''Lilli''': "Whoa. She's pissed..."
* ProperlyParanoid: More like "Properly Angered", but she's shown to be like this when [[spoiler:Iris]] is mentioned. [[spoiler:And then you see what Iris turned out to be...]]
* SayMyName: She does this when Tia loses a life while using her to attack. Also when [[spoiler:Iris]] is going to attack Tia (though [[spoiler:thankfully she was saved]]).
* ShutUpHannibal: "[[spoiler:[[IAmWhatIAm Tia will always be Tia!]]]] So there!"
%%* SnarkyNonHumanSidekick (Anyone who has a good example of this, feel free to uncomment!)
* SpeaksFluentAnimal: She's able to talk with [[spoiler:Talos]] near the end of the game.
%%* TaremeEyes: Befitting her curious nature.
%%* ThisIsUnforgivable: See Spiritia above.
[[/folder]]

[[caption-width-right:255:"I have that which I must protect... even from the hands of God!"]]
->''"I'm glad I met you. Had I not, I would not be before you today. A world where everyone I care for can live in peace... that is all I have ever dreamed of."''

->'''Voiced by:''' Sou Raika
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

A close friend of Spiritia in RKS, despite her dislike for being close to others. A lone wolf by nature, she's cool and collected and she prefers to work alone and is capable of getting things done without anyone's assistance thanks to her many talents. Her friends call her "Freu" for short. In the sequel, she's the game's [[TheHero heroine]].

Her ability is called Freudenstachel, which allows her to gather water vapor and unleash it frozen into icicles, which become sharper in a colder area. She can also implement the abilities of her friends into [[PowerCopying learnable abilities]], three of which she uses in her boss battle.

----
!!Tropes related with Freudia:
* AntiHero: Post-HeelFaceTurn. She dislikes being close to others besides Spiritia, and later Strudel in the sequel. In addition, she's also not as forgiving as Spiritia. [[spoiler:Tia would try to reason with Iris instead of killing her outright, but Freudia has ''no'' such mercy for her when she finally takes her down, and ends her for good.]]
* ApologeticAttacker: Even though she's perfectly willing to beat Spiritia down, that doesn't mean she enjoys it.
-->'''Freudia:''' "I'm sorry, Tia..."
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Because of their prior friendship, she spares Spiritia in the prologue to fight another day.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:As she saved Tia from Iris' attack after the latter kills her own father.]]
* BirdsOfAFeather: Shares a similar no nonsense approach to fighting as Grolla. When they fight in Grollshwert, they both agree that trying to talk either out of fighting is pointless.
* BulletTime: Her Weißteufel that she acquires from Sichte.
* BurnTheWitch: Was nearly burned at the stake as a child when the townspeople discovered she was a magus. Spiritia was thankfully there to save her, explaining why they're so close in the present.
* BuxomBeautyStandard: She has a well-endowed bust which is emphasized by the ImpossiblyLowNeckline on her outfit. Strudel also only follows her around partly because of her large "round and smooth objects", much to Freudia's embarrassment.
* CallingYourAttacks: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', she calls out the names of both her signature Freudenstachel attack and her learnable abilities.
* ChargedAttack: Unlike Tia, only a few of her weapons can be charged up in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* ClimaxBoss: In the first game, her second battle gets unique music and is the hardest of the eight RKS bosses, with many hard-to-dodge attacks, and it is against the RKS member who Spiritia has the closest connection to. Uniquely, it can be accessed right after the prologue stage, but her stage and boss are both so difficult that doing the other ones first is highly recommended. This seems to have been intentional by the developers, since if one starts with the easiest boss, Liebea, and follows the ElementalRockPaperScissors from there, Freudia will be fought last.
* CoDragons: In the first game, she leads the RKS rebellion along with Sichte on Micheal’s orders, while Raimund guards the Zeppelin castle.
* ContrastingSequelProtagonist: Tia was an out-and-out NiceGirl throughout the game, a classic heroine. Freu, on the other hand, while actually kind, has a cold exterior and acts more like a standoffish IceQueen (who eventually [[DefrostingIceQueen defrosts]]) and [[GoodIsNotNice isn't overly nice when doing good deeds]].
* DefrostingIceQueen: A partial example with Spiritia. While they were already friends, they were on opposite sides of the conflict, Freudia was unaware of Iris' plan and honestly thought the Empire was against them. Once Tia defeats her, she ceases her hostility. Played straight in Freudenstachel, as she at first only tolerates Strudel's presence, but warms up to her over the course of the game.
* {{Determinator}}: In Freudenstachel, she's going to bring Spiritia back, no matter how many oppose her efforts.
%%* DidYouActuallyBelieve: ''"Do you honestly believe you can stand against the entirety of RKS on your own?"''
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Unlike Spiritia, Freudia has none of Rosenkreuz' abilities. She still kicked [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]]'s ass, [[spoiler:while she had the full power and soul of Rozenkreuz]], and then [[spoiler:delivers a FateWorseThanDeath on her]].
* DisappointedInYou: In the original game, she'll say this to Spiritia once when she responds to her "DidYouActuallyBelieve" quote above with her resolve to do what she asked her if she thought she could, and again if Tia uses up her last life against her.
* DoppelgangerAttack: Her Freudenzwinger, which lets her create four clones that shoot icicles, and Kopiekreisel, wherein she does a little ballerina twirl and creates two clones on btoh sides that hurt enemies via collision damage.
* EnergyWeapon: She's rather fond of these, and they can be acquired in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* FairytaleWeddingDress: Her outfit heavily resembles one, reaching from her ankles all the way up to the top area of her chest, and even comes with HighClassGloves. In ''Freudenstachel'', she wears a sash around that outfit's waist, making it look as if its skirt were separable from its top.
* FuumaShuriken: Her Frostklinge ability, which she learns from Doris.
* GoodIsNotNice: She prefers not to be close to others despite her strong relationship with Tia.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Unlike Tia, who prefers to reach out to even the most heartless of her foes, Freudia will not hesitate to ''end you'' if you've crossed the line. [[spoiler:Iris learns this the hard way at the end of ''Freudenstachel'', when she is out-and-out frozen to death after pushing Freudia too far]].
* HarmlessFreezing: Her Eisschwert.
** Not so harmless if you're [[WeaksauceWeakness Luste]].
* HeelFaceTurn: In the original game, she was willing to attempt a massacre of the peaceful Black Forest fairy tribe under orders from Michael and kill Spirita for opposing them. But when defeated the second time, she begins having second thoughts, and [[spoiler:pulls a BigDamnHeroes moment near the end]]. In the sequel, she is the heroine who is [[AntiHero more-or-less on the side of good]].
* HighClassGloves: Wears those as part of her ensemble, which makes sense since her dress does look like it should be worn for an opera.
* IWorkAlone: While she is a member of RKS, she does prefer to do things herself. In the sequel, she goes to save Spiritia herself.
* AnIcePerson: Uses snow and ice abilities exclusively.
* IdiotHair: Though just like Lilli, she's clearly not an idiot.
* ImpossiblyLowNeckline: Her strapless dress. One must wonder how she avoids a wardrobe malfunction with all the fighting she does.
* TheLancer: She's Spiritia's greatest rival and closest friend in RKS.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Pegasus" by Extra Ocean (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), "07" by [=AM3=] (talk theme), "22" by [=AM3=] (main/boss theme and the menu theme of ''Freudenstachel'', her game), "Fate" (Prologue Stage theme), and "Winter Waltz" by Sky God Corridor (talk theme) (shared with Eifer).
* MoreDakka: Her main weapon, Freudenstachel, is the only one which can't be charged by Spiritia when she acquires it - instead, holding the button will make it rapidfire. It also works similarly in the sequel.
* MysticalWhiteHair: As befitting someone with ice magic powers, her hair is white/light-blue.
* NonIndicativeName: Freudia is taken from the German word for "joy". She's anything but joyful.
* OnlySaneWoman: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', she's the only one who's solving the assault of Schwarzkreuz with a clear, cool head, the rest has been rather agitated due to situations.
* PowerCopying: In Freudenstachel she shows elements of this, but rather then directly copying a defeated enemy's techinques, she instead learns new ways to use Freudenstachel inspired by the bosses.
* PowerFloats: She has an ability to levitate in the air.
* PrecisionFStrike: While she's usually not foul-mouthed, she curses a few times in ''Freudenstachel'', such as saying "damn" when she sees Grolla in a trance [[spoiler:and when chasing after Iris after destroying her second machine, as well as actually saying that Iris has pissed her off when she sees Tia as having been BrainwashedAndCrazy]].
* RageBreakingPoint: Freu is a regularly calm and collected young woman who doesn't easily let her emotions erupt. But [[spoiler:once she realizes that her best friend Spiritia has been made BrainwashedAndCrazy under Iris' possession, she snaps with every reason to want Iris dead]].
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Subverted -- Even though she does have red eyes, she's actually a decent person who happens to be duty-bound on this war.
* ReflectingLaser: Her Eislanze.
* ShoutOut:
** One of her {{Pre Asskicking One Liner}}s was inspired by ''VideoGame/MegaManX4'', which had a similar phrase said by one of the bosses.
-->'''Freudia''': "I'll lay you to rest in a cool bed of ice."
** She repeats it again in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', with a variation.[[spoiler:.. Just before facing Iris for the last time.]]
-->'''Freudia''': "I'll lay you to rest in a cool bed of ice... For all of eternity."
** Also, her swimming animation looks like that of [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Mario]].
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Cold in the outside and prefers being alone. Warm on the inside, especially when Spiritia is involved.
* SuperSwimmingSkills: Freudia doesn't have the same problem as Spiritia has in swimming capability.
* SwordBeam: Her Eisschwert creates these. [[InstantIceJustAddCold Which freeze opponents into blocks of ice upon contact with them]].
* ThisIsUnforgivable: Seeing her friend Spiritia being [[spoiler:controlled by Iris]] did not help improve her already very bad opinion of [[spoiler:Iris]].
-->'''Freudia''': You've made a grave mistake in [[spoiler:trying to use Tia's likeness against me]]. If not for her, I would have given up long ago... Now, suffer for your hubris! [[spoiler:Iris]], [[PrepareToDie you WILL die!!]]
* TurnsRed: Subverted. She's the only boss that ''doesn't'' do this. Despite having a flash and a battle quote when her life is cut in half in both of her fights--indicating that she has just done this -- her pattern remains exactly the same as before. In ''Freudenstachel'', on fighting [[spoiler:Spiritia and Iris]], she, as the playable character, does this to herself, granting her infinite Freudenstachel bullets to show how much she's been pissed off.
* VariantPowerCopying: In the sequel; she doesn't exactly use the powers of the enemies she fought, but [[WhenAllYouHaveIsAHammer she adapts her ice powers to match them]].
* WarmUpBoss: In the Opening Stage of the first game.
* YouMonster: After [[spoiler:laying Count Zeppelin back to rest again]], she comments to herself that [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] truly is a monster.

[[caption-width-right:255:"Those are awfully big bumps on your chest..."]]
->''"Ru loves big bumps! She gets them all the time on her head! They're always so fun to rub...!"''

->'''Voiced by:''' Haru Kaburagi
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''

Freu's little blue FairyCompanion. Not having quite fit in with the rest of the forest inhabitants, Strudel's a carefree fairy who knows nothing of hatred. She's the type who lazes about and only sees what pleases her and has no general goal but doesn't show any resentment to what needs to be done. Strangely enough, she also likes rubbing smooth objects. Strudel likes to call herself "Ru" for short.

----
!!Tropes related with Strudel:
%%* AnIcePerson
* BuxomBeautyStandard: She likes round, smooth objects, and that is usually 'boobs'. The first thing she notices on meeting Freu is noticing that she has big boobs and becomes one reason why she likes her and wants to follow her around.
%%* CheerfulChild
%%* CurtainsMatchTheWindow
%%* FairyCompanion: To Freu. Duh.
* FunPersonified: Strudel's one of the least-concerned characters of the RKS cast, even to the point of being [[ThePollyanna an implied Pollyanna]]. She also acts as the main source of a lot of Freudenstachel's comedy. It's justified by the fact that she was designed by Iris to be literally unable to feel sorrow or rage.
%%* IdiotHair
%%* LazyBum
* TheMole: She's actually a servant of Eifer who's purpose is to watch over Freudia's actions. However, by the time of TheReveal, Strudel has grown so attached to Freudia that she immediately pulls a HeelFaceTurn.
%%* MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch: Implied.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Revealed to be one just like Eifer, except her hair changed back after the battle.
* PlatformingPocketPal: Becomes available as a weapon for Freu to use if she finds the Black Forest's other secret treasure in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* ThePollyanna: Implied. She doesn't care at all that Freudia burned down the fairies' forest. Justified, as she's a partial clone of Freudia and has no memory of her actions.
%%* RedEyesTakeWarning: During Eifer's reveal. Her eyes changed back afterwards though.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Strudel loves speaking this way.

->'''Voiced by:''' Ayane Suzumura
'''Introduced in''': ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

A short-tempered, impulsive, and moody young wannabe daddy's girl who's quite a pyromaniac and a terrible cook with cooking skills nothing short of disastrous, and she doesn't even know the meaning of the word "restraint". She looks up to Graf Zeppelin a lot for saving her life once, and, despite the absence of blood ties, regards him as her real father. And she takes high pride of it. Not to mention, she also refuses to get along with Iris.

Her ability is called Zornesbombe, which allows her to create bombs that explode in a cross-like fashion and can demolish brick walls.

----
!!Tropes related with Zorne:
* AlliterativeName: '''Z'''orne '''Z'''eppelin.
* BerserkButton: She'll go berserk on anyone who calls her an "[[UsefulNotes/{{Baka}} idjot]]/widget", opposes Count Zeppelin, or even "brainwashes" her friend Trau.
* TheBigGirl: Relative to her position in RKS.
* BigShutUp: If already having defeated Trauare, she would tell Tia, "Shut up *shut up* SHUT UP!!" when Spiritia desperately tried to talk her into calming down and listening to her.
* ButtMonkey: In the first game.
* CartoonBomb: Her Zornesbombe is a simple gray ball with a fuse sticking out.
* CombinationAttack: With Trauare in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. There are two versions of this; in her own stage, the two toss two sets of two bombs while calling forth a fiery version of the latter's fully-charged Klageharnisch, and in Trau's stage, the two place a few heart-shaped bombs in the last places the player was standing.
* CostumeEvolution: Zorne ditches her yellow short-sleeved hoodie and boots for a black tank top and light cream-colored robes and brown boots in Freudenstachel.
* CuteBruiser: A cute girl with a viscious-looking metal glove that can punch pretty hard.
* DeathSeeker: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', it's revealed that Zorne had been a "walking puppet" according to Trau during the few months that passed since the Count's death, and she tried many times to [[DrivenToSuicide drive herself to suicide]], all attempts which were stopped by Trau herself. It was her eventual anger that she got towards the army of the church that booted her back up again.
* FieryRedhead: Red hair matching her hot temper.
* GirlishPigtails: She ties hers with red bows. It also matches her being a bit more of a {{Tomboy}} than the rest of the cast.
* GreenEyedMonster: She adores Count Zeppelin as a father figure and is very antagonistic of Spiritia (because her stepfather liked her strength) and Iris (his biological daughter).
* HappilyAdopted: By Count Zeppelin, who saved her in the past. She yearns to be accepted as his real daughter, despite not being related by blood.
* HairTriggerTemper: She is ''very'' easily angered.
* HotBlooded: Zorne is moody, is easily irritable, and is a good person deep down.
* IllKillYou: One of her quotes when she TurnsRed.
* InterruptedSuicide: [[spoiler:If you confront Trauare after beating Zorne, the former notes that she frequently stopped the latter from killing herself in despair over the Count's death.]]
* {{Leitmotif}}: "SHINING MAN" by Maru no IE (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), "Sinner" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme), "Eruption Trigger" by Sound Prison (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme)
* LethalChef: According to her profile, she's a ''REALLY'' terrible cook.
* MeaningfulName: "Zorn" means "anger/wrath" in German.
* MoodWhiplash: She gets bonus points for this as she easily has "Sinner" by Unlimited Hellest as one of the darkest talk themes in the franchise. There's a reason why said talk theme is DarkerAndEdgier than her stage theme in the original game, "SHINING MAN" by Maru no IE, after all.
* NonStandardGameOver: She urges you to "Hurry Up!" for a reason.
* PersonalityPowers: Her fiery bombs fit her FieryRedhead personality.
* PowerFist: She wears an over-sized version of the gauntlet like the one worn by the title character in the ''VideoGame/PrinceOfPersia'' remake.
* PrecisionFStrike: She's not above screaming "Damn it!!" when somebody hits her BerserkButton.
* PyroManiac: Loves throwing fiery bombs.
* RedOniBlueOni: The hot-headed Red Oni to Trauare's blue.
* SayMyName: (After defeat) "Otou-samaaaaaaaaa!" ("Fatheeeeerrrrrrrr!")
* ShoutOut:
** Her attack pattern is one big VideoGame/{{Bomberman}} reference:
*** Most obviously, she attacks with {{Cartoon Bomb}}s that explode in cross patterns, the same as the typical bombs of the ''Bomberman'' series.
*** When she TurnsRed, the background will start filling up with gray blocks, and if the entire background is completely filled with these blocks, it's instant death [[VideoGame/{{Bomberman}} for both the player and Zorne]].
*** The gray block attack returns in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''; there, players are also treated to a NonStandardGameOver with an image of Freudia and Zorne losing the game in a draw, although the player doesn't lose a life here.
** In a non-battle example of a Bomberman Shout-Out, her claw-like left hand is inspired by the one used by Bomberman in ''VideoGame/BombermanActZero''.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: In the official release, her surname is "Zeppelin". In the FanTranslation, it was changed to "Sepperin"; see Graf Michael Zeppelin's folder to see why this change is justified.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: She's rude and dismissive towards virtually everyone (especially towards Iris), and even whenever she makes exceptions with her friends, like Spiritia or Freudia, she's prone to throwing out snark where she pleases. The only ones she's nice and friendly to are Traure and Count Zeppelin.
* TaremeEyes: Her eyes are the gentle kind despite her character suggesting otherwise, hinting that she has a nicer side too - as befitting a {{Tsundere}}.
* TemptingFate: She does this before her boss battle.
-->'''Zorne''': "Tia, Father might like you because you're strong... but I'll show you all that I'm the most useful to him!"\
'''Zorne''': (after getting bested by Spiritia) "Ugh... does this mean I'm completely useless!?"
** Alternatively:
-->'''Zorne''': "I have faith in Father! And I will NOT lose to you!"\
'''Zorne''': (After getting bested by Spiritia) "Ugh... Why can't I do anything when it really counts!?"
* ThisIsUnforgivable: In the first game, she says this in her intro dialogue against Spiritia and Grolla, both times after Trauare has been defeated. In the sequel game, she tells Freudia that her reasons for her plan to set off a chain reaction of volcanic eruptions that she can't forgive the Church for tampering with the lands that the Count gave his life to protect, and expresses her refusal to forgive the Church for desecrating the lands that the Count loved so much to Pamela.
* TimeLimitBoss: In the first game, once she TurnsRed, you'll have to beat her before the room is filled with blocks or it's instant death.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The {{Tomboy}} to Trauare's GirlyGirl.
* TookALevelInBadass: She's significantly tougher in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' than in the first game.
* {{Tsundere}}: She's more exceptionally violent than other examples.
* ViolenceIsTheOnlyOption: She doesn't even understand the meaning of "restraint" anyway. Only if she proves to be a ButtMonkey by getting humiliated both physically and emotionally does she tend to listen to reason. Poor thing.
* WallCrawl: With the aid of her PowerFist.
* WarmUpBoss: She's considerably easy compared to the others in the first game.
* WellDoneDaughterGirl: Looks up to Count Zeppelin as her father figure and seeks his approval.
* YouKilledMyFather: [[spoiler:Iris kills off Count Zeppelin not only because he outlived his usefulness to her, but also to make Zorne suffer knowing she strived and yearned for him to accept her as his biological daughter. 331->'''Voiced by:''' Yuri Nashimoto
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

A composed and pragmatic young lady capable of concealing her immature tendencies, making a point of what needs to be done and finishing whatever's asked of her, but carries a disinterested look on her face the whole time. She's even tougher to control than her friend Zorne when she's angry, she's quite vindictive and will stop at nothing to exact revenge once she's angry, so you wouldn't like her when she is so. She loves to swim and will often invite Zorne to join her at a nearby ravine in her spare time. Her friends call her "Trau" for short, and she uses the Chaos Spear Leviathan as her weapon of choice.

Her ability is Klageharnisch, which generates miniature tornadoes of water and can launch them in different directions at once.

----
!!Tropes related with Trauare:
* BattleStrip: She throws away her jacket before fighting the player in the first game.
* TheBigGirl: Only she's much more composed than her close friend.
* BloodKnight: Trau enjoys a good fight and gets pleased whenever she gets one, even to the point of comparing it to having a good warm-up.
* CombinationAttack: With Zorne in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. There are two versions of this; in Zorne's stage, the two toss two sets of two bombs while calling forth a fiery version of Trau's fully-charged Klageharnisch, and in the latter's own stage, the two place a few heart-shaped bombs in the last places the player was standing.
* CostumeEvolution: Like her friend Zorne, Trau trades her white short-sleeved jacket for a UsefulNotes/{{Qipao}} and brown boots in Freudenstachel (while still keeping her competition swimsuit as seen underneath).
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Blue eyes, blue hair.
* DoppelgangerAttack: When she charges after [[TurnsRed Turning Red]], she can produce illusion copies of herself generated from Leviathan that charge seconds after she does so.
* FanservicePack: In ''Freudenstachel'', despite wearing a UsefulNotes/{{Qipao}} she appears to be curvier than in the base game; in particular, her breasts seem bigger.
* GracefulLoser: Compliments Tia (and Grolla) in the first game when they defeat her.
* HimeCut: And it's rather short hair, in fact.
* HumansAreBastards: This is what she thought at first when she took part in RKS' rebellion. She eventually changed her mind when Spiritia (and Grolla) bested her.
* LightheartedRematch: Implied:
-->'''Trauare:''' (After she loses) "When this is all over, let's have another match."\
'''Spiritia:''' "...Sure. If it's a fair fight you want, I'll take you on anytime! "
* {{Leitmotif}}: "28" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), "Inferiority" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme), "Frozen Air" by Wingless Seraph (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme).
* LetsGetDangerous: She almost never takes things seriously... unless when her friend Zorne is defeated, causing her BerserkButton to be pressed.
-->'''Trauare:''' "It looks like Zorne was no match for you. I'll have to take this seriously, then."
* MakingASplash: She uses water and even fights underwater.
* MeaningfulAppearance: Appropriately for a water Magus, she wears a blue swimsuit beneath a jacket (or qipao in ''Freudenstachel'') as well as a seashell hair clip.
* MeaningfulName: "Trauer" means "sorrow" in German. She's mostly mellow and calm, but is also a StrawNihilist.
* MoodWhiplash: In the first game, her talk theme is DarkerAndEdgier than her stage theme.
* MsFanservice: Her outfit is a one-piece SchoolSwimsuit which shows off her legs, her breasts are quite big, and she speaks in a seductive manner even while fighting. In ''Freudenstachel'' she wears a UsefulNotes/{{Qipao}} that covers more, but her curves are even more emphasized and her legs remain on display.
* PowerFloats: She can levitate in the air a little above the ground in the first game, even if she isn't underwater.
* PrecisionFStrike: As shown in ''Freudenstachel'', she can be prone to this very often when she's enraged, especially if Zorne is defeated before her.
-->'''Trauare:''' It pisses me off. GOD DAMN IT, IT PISSES ME OFF!!!
* RedOniBlueOni: Blue Oni to Zorne's red.
* SchoolSwimsuit: She wears a competitive type under her UsefulNotes/{{Qipao}}.
* ShoutOut:
** Her attack pattern in the first game is a simplified version of [[VideoGame/MegaMan2 Air Man's]] attack pattern, where she summons a series of tornado-like projectiles that linger before flying forward.
** In the second game, she starts off with a similar pattern to [[VideoGame/MegaMan3 Top Man]] (Summoning 3 projectiles diagonally above her, aiming all three at the player, then dashing across the room), then starts using a simpler version of [[VideoGame/MegaManZero Fairy Leviathan's]] attack pattern below half-health (slowly swimming around while shooting at the player with her spear).
* StrawNihilist: She has shades of this.
-->'''Trauare''': (Before the fight) "There's far too much sorrow in this world. No matter how hard you try, you can't change that, Tia."
** When Spritia beats her, however, she changed her views.
-->'''Trauare''': (After she loses) "This world is filled with despair... [[TheAntiNihilist Still, it might be worth it to hang on just a little longer.]] If you can help make our dreams a reality, I'm with you. Tia..."
* SuperNotDrowningSkills: She can fight underwater like a mermaid.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The Girly Girl to Zorne's {{Tomboy}}.
* TsurimeEyes: Not quite matching the type, since she's more calm and less assertive. She is prone to swearing a lot when angry, however.
* UnstoppableRage: When her BerserkButton gets pressed and she [[LetsGetDangerous shows her true competence]].
* WalkingSwimsuitScene: In the first game.
* WaterIsWomanly: She's able to manipulate water, she loves to swim, and she's one hell of a cute girl with sexy curves.
* WorthyOpponent: She deems anyone who beats her fairly as this.

'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

AKA "RKS??? UNBEKANNT" (Unknown) or "Heroe?" (The Metal Hero?) in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. RKS's resident {{Cloudcuckoolander}}. A [[CuteMonsterGirl cute devil girl]] who's cheerful, simple-minded and optimistic and always lives in the present. She's easygoing and treats everything like a game, and pictures herself as a hero of justice. She's so attached to Tia that she often plays games with her, with her as the "bad guy". She's nonetheless self-centered and loves tomato juice.

Her ability is Lustatem, which is capable of launching pressurized blades of wind through the air in any direction. She can even launch even bigger ones, especially when she TurnsRed.

----
!!Tropes related with Luste:
* AgeInappropriateDress: A two-piece bikini, elbow gloves, and thigh-highs in all-black thanks to Trauare as a joke. [[ComicallyMissingThePoint Yes, she's also wearing a choker.]]
* BlushSticker: Constantly seen blushing.
* ChargedAttack: She uses one in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* CheerfulChild: Luste is most certainly cheery and upbeat.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She presents herself as a hero of justice, but enjoys destroying things for fun, and she's not the sharpest tool in the shed. That, in addition to her outfit covering about 10% of her body, rounded down.
* CoolShades: In one of the screenies from the ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' [[AprilFoolsDay April Fool's site]], she had these alongside her ScarfOfAsskicking. Later, when the game was confirmed to be in development, she was eventually revealed to have a visor to replace those April Fool's shades of hers.
* CuteLittleFangs: Can be seen if you squint hard enough.
* FunPersonified: Luste is easily the most fun-loving character of the cast, being an easygoing and optimistic girl who treats everything like a game.
* FieryRedhead: Inverted, as she's laid-back and easygoing rather than short-tempered, hot-blooded and hot-headed.
* GenkiGirl: She's easily one of the most energetic of the RKS.
* GetBackHereBoss: If you get too close to her, she'll jump to the other side of the stage. Oddly, while this would mean in theory that fighting her with Grolla would become much harder, due to Grolla's dash ability, chasing Luste becomes easier, and if played right, Luste can be trapped into only jumping around the arena, and at the same time allowing Grolla to freely attack her while she's still in midair.
* GracefulLoser: In Spiritia's story, when she loses, she cheerfully admits the fight was fun even though she lost to her (Also see WasntThatFun below). Less so however in the Freudia's story where she got annoyed from losing to her and being ordered to report to her duties.
* HeroicComedicSociopath: According to her profile, she likes smashing everything in sight due to treating everything as a game despite believing herself to be a hero of justice, which gives her an emphasis on ''CRAZY''.
-->'''Luste''': "Heheheh! Smashing buildings is fun!"
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: [[spoiler:Her other weakness is her own weapon, Lustatem. You can try it when you fight Luste Golem in Iris Stage III.]]
* IdiotHair: One on each side of her head.
* IdiotHero: ''"Ah! It takes one to know one!"''
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: She wears a bikini that barely covers her body, yet she doesn't seem to mind.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "26" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), and "11" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' talk theme), "Kaede" by Rengoku Teien (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme), "AM Fight No. 1" (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' talk theme (previously used as the ''Rosenkreuzstilette'' title theme and one of Tia's leitmotifs).
* MeaningfulAppearance: Notably, her darker blonde hair, coupled with green eyes, overly revealing ''black'' outfit and similar [[TheKlutz klutz-ness]] make her something of a dark mirror to Tia.
* MeaningfulName: Her name means "desire" in German. It can also mean a delightful or an energetic nature, which more than describes her personality. It may also derived from that ''other'' {{Lust}}, which might explain why she's so [[{{Stripperiffic}} scantily-clad]].
* MsFanservice: Aside from being a scantily-clad little girl, [erka:es]' 2013 April Fools' Day ''[=RosenkreuzStilette=] Lustatem'' shows Luste as [[SheIsAllGrownUp a fully-grown]] Ms. Fanservice, as seen [[http://i.imgur.com/VLQCzIq.jpg here]]. It makes her name ''all'' the more meaningful.
* PaperThinDisguise: She puts on some CoolShades, a ScarfOfAsskicking, a pair of metal knuckles and an even more {{Stripperiffic}} top and pretends to be the hero of justice [[StealthPun Bluste]] in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. The stage selection screen even lists her name as unknown. But let's face it, her disguise is a effective as [[VideoGame/SuperRobotWars Ratsel Feinschmecker's]], and her level is still called "Luste Stage".
* PerkyGoth: She wears all black and has bat wings coming out of her shoulder sleeves, yet is the least concerned person in the RKS. [[{{Stripperiffic}} Not that there's much black to her dress anyway....]] She's a TokenMiniMoe as well.
* RazorWind: Her Lustatem is a sharp wind projectile that can be aimed in 8 directions. While Spiritia has to pick which direction to aim in, Luste herself enjoys firing in all 8 directions at once.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: Acquires one of these in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* ShoutOut:
** Her attack pattern in the first game is similar to [[VideoGame/MegaMan2 Metal Man]]; she'll leap high into the air, then fire a series of sharp projectiles that pause her descent with each shot. If approached, she'll jump to the other side of the room (though unlike Metal Man, she won't attack while doing this until she's below half health).
** In her GameOver screen for Spiritia, Luste parodies Flandre Scarlet from the cover-art of ''Franchise/TouhouProject 06 ~ the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil''.
** In ''Freudenstachel'', she tries to pass herself off as "Protogirl Blueste" (or simply Bluste in Japanese), sporting a scarf and a pair of shades clearly meant to reference [[VideoGame/MegaManClassic Proto Man]] (known as Blues in Japan). Even her battle starts off taking inspiration from the optional Proto Man fight from ''VideoGame/MegaMan7'', alternating between shooting while doing a short hop, jumping in the air for a flurry of shots, then protecting herself as she readies a charged shot.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Her outfit consists of a tiny, black two-piece bikini, elbow gloves, thigh-high socks, and a choker.
* TagalongKid: Alongside with Schwer-Muta and Doris as team's youngest members.
* TaremeEyes: Much like Tia, they suggest she's more gentle and innocent. Well, she's the latter at least.
* TokenMiniMoe: Easily the cutest member of the main cast.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Tomato juice, of course.
* WalkingSwimsuitScene: Pretty much all the time, Luste wears nothing except a skimpy black bikini, thigh-high socks and opera gloves.
* WasntThatFun: ''"Awww... I can't beat you after all... But that was still fun!"''
* WingedHumanoid: Detached teal/black bat wings.

->'''Voiced by:''' Junca Amaoto
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette''

Born with the spirit of a warrior, she's calm, collected, and every bit as strict with her colleagues as she is with herself. She's willing to protect them at any cost - but should her BerserkButton be pushed in any way, she'll stop at nothing to exact revenge. A gifted swords(wo)man, she's feared and respected by many, and is the granddaughter of Raimund Seyfarth. She prefers to let her blade do the talking over sharing her feelings with others and is a subordinate and bodyguard of Sichte. She may not look like it, but she's actually damn proud of her job. In ''Rosenkreuzstilette'', she's [[TheHero The Heroine]] of her own game mode, ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''.

Her ability is Grollschwert, which utilizes the power of her weapon, the Demon Sword of the same name. Using it as a conduit, she can unleash her inner power in the form of multidirectional slashes. Grollschwert's blade becomes sharper and gets farther reach the closer its user is to death.

----
!!Tropes related with Grolla:
* AncestralWeapon: Her Demon Sword Grollschwert, which has been passed down by the Seyfarth clan for generations. It takes a much [[DarkerAndEdgier darker yet more badass appearance]] in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. [[spoiler:[[EvilWeapon It's also one seemingly possessed by the soul of her grandfather, no less]]]].
* AnotherSideAnotherStory: Completing the game will give you the code to play as her in her own special sidestory, ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''.
* AntiHero: One who prefers to let her sword do the talking.
* ArmorIsUseless: She's the only person who wears ''any'' sort of armor and yet she's the GlassCannon.
* BeamSpam: When she TurnsRed, she will let loose her {{Sword Beam}}s in every direction possible.
* BeatTheCurseOutOfHer: [[spoiler:In ''Freudenstachel'', when she gets possessed by her Grollschwert's influence, it's your job to do this to her.]]
* BerserkButton: While many things has made her angry, the one thing that sticks the most is that [[spoiler:her grandfather had to be awaken from his peaceful slumber by Graf Zeppelin]].
* TheBigGirl: Her strength is a significant asset to RKS.
* BloodKnight: She qualifies because she prefers to fight first and ask questions later.
-->'''Grolla''': "[[PreAssKickingOneLiner ...You plan on running me down? Show me your worst! There is nothing my blade cannot cut!]]"
* BloodyMurder: She naturally gets this when she takes up her granddaddy's Grollschwert in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', even when she already has enough magic to turn the sky and moon blood red in the first game.
* [[ChainmailBikini Breast Plate]]
* BringIt: She does this to the Cross Wall before the boss battle starts.
* CallingYourAttacks: She shouts "Grollschwert!" when you input the code for ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''.
** And while using her [[ChargedAttack Charged Smash]] with half health left.
** And again whenever she uses one of the attacks she gains when she TurnsRed in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* CantKillYouStillNeedYou: In her side-story, after the fight against Sichte, she noted that Grolla doesn't fight to her fullest like she's used to, and shows signs of mercy (when [[GetItOverWith Sichte expected Grolla to kill her]]). Her response:
-->'''Grolla''': "Dead, you are useful to no one. I want you to stand by me against [[spoiler:Iris]]."
* TheComicallySerious: Even though she's the kind of girl who's every bit as strict with her colleagues as she is with herself, there are some times that she just can't get out of a funny situation. Like this part, for example:
-->'''Luste''': "Hey, it's Grolla! What're you doing here?"\
'''Grolla''': "That doesn't matter. Stop what you're doing."\
'''Luste''': "No way! I wanna play some more!"\
'''Grolla''': "...Ugh. I hate dealing with idiots."\
'''Luste''': "[[NoYou Ah! It takes one to know one!]]"\
'''Grolla''': "[[BerserkButton It seems you could use some discipline...!]]"
** And another example:
-->''(After an awkward scilence)''\
'''Zeppy''': "Kwui-kwui..."\
'''Schwer-Muta''': "...Scary."\
'''Grolla''': ''(As usual, [[TheUnintelligible she makes no sense]].)''
* CriticalStatusBuff: Her attacks become more powerful when her vitality goes below half.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Has purple hair that matches with her eyes.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Her stage in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''. With several scenes of disturbing imagery, especially the [[RainOfBlood bloody rainstorm]] near the end, her stage is considered darker than the stage in the original game.
* DarkIsNotEvil: As she gets two stages in the form of a graveyard and a dungeon with bones and blood and even a bloody rainstorm, was taught by a legendary war hero who was brought BackFromTheDead as TheGrimReaper and is her grandfather, and is willing to protect her colleagues at any cost.
* DashAttack: She performs a tackle against players, and a dash blade attack while playing as her.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: [[spoiler:At least she's closer to the truth than Tia]].
* DemonicPossession: [[spoiler:Her grandfather's soul appears to possess her in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', but it's believed afterwards to be an illusion made by the demon sword.]]
* DidYouActuallyBelieve: ''"You think I would fall for the same trick twice!?"''
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: [[spoiler:She didn't care if Iris was a god, a human, or even an insect, she was willing to punch her out anyway.]]
* FlatWhat: She delivers this when [[spoiler:Iris Zeppelin]] pulls off a WoundedGazelleGambit on her by pretending to be an innocent being threatened when Sichte walks in.
* FragileSpeedster: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' mode. Her dashing and wall jumping abilities break the stages in ways Tia never can, but she can't take a hit for her life. May or may not also count as GlassCannon. Ironic, as she's the only character who wears an armor.
* GoodIsNotNice: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'', she'll fight against her own colleagues just to get them out of her way. Other than that, she's still willing to protect them at any cost.
** Also, the fact that she would rather fight than listen to reason more than qualifies her for this trope.
* HumiliationConga: She gets a rather embarrassing humiliation courtesy of [[spoiler:Iris' WoundedGazelleGambit]]. Tough break, descendant of Seyfarth!
* {{Invocation}}: Whenever she TurnsRed, she chants "Ōgi kakusei!" ("Hidden awakening!") or "Zetsugi kaigan!" ("Exceed skill enlightenment!")
* LadyOfWar: As beautiful as she is powerful.
* LadySwearsalot: She in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' is, surprisingly, quite fond of profanity, despite her speech being in feudal tongue.
-->'''Grolla:''' ''[To [[spoiler:Iris]]]'' "...You bitch."
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Dark Purple Moonlight" by Sky God Corridor (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme and ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' title theme), "Dark Purple Moon ~ Dance of the Moon ~Rebirth~" by Sky God Corridor (talk theme, shared with her grandfather), "Acid Rain" by Sound Prison (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme).
%%* LeotardOfPower
* MagicKnight: Despite being a Magi, she excels at using her family's heirloom to deal with her enemies more than her magic abilities.
* MeaningfulName: "Groll" means "grudge" or "ill will" in German. Appropriately she's always in a bad mood and she also easily hold grudge towards anything that angered her.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: One of her victory quotes in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' has her panting and saying "What... did I do...?" And when Freu defeats her and frees her from Grollschwert's possession, she voices how ashamed of herself she is for letting her demons control her mind.
* OneHandedZweihander: She's powerful enough to carry her Grollschwert with just one hand.
%%zce* OnlySaneWoman: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''.
* PerpetualFrowner: Most of the time Grolla's seen with a frown and the closet you'll ever see her smile is when she smirks which isn't very often.
* PrefersProperNames: Due to her upbringing as a warrior, she is the one member of the RKS who refers to the others with their full first names. This is especially noticeable in her interactions with Spiritia and Sichte (the latter of whom she calls ''Lady'' Sichte).
* PrepareToDie: Her quote in her profile. ''"Traitorous dog! Your life ends here!"''
* PurpleIsPowerful: She's a very competent fighter, feared and respected by many, plus she has [[CurtainsMatchTheWindow purple eyes and hair]]. Also, her teleportation magic gives off a purple aura, as do her Grollschwert slashes in the first game.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: She delivers this to Graf Zeppelin in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' because she pities him [[spoiler:for being manipulated by ''his OWN daughter'']].
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She had these in one of the screenshots from the ''Freudenstachel'' April Fool's site. These were absent in the trial versions and the full game.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: She goes on this after [[spoiler:Iris humiliates her with her WoundedGazelleGambit]]. She even combines this with UnstoppableRage.
** The second time: She lays Raimund back to rest. Infuriated and deeply hurt afterwards, she [[ThisIsUnforgivable vows to make Graf Zeppelin pay]] for disrupting Raimund's peaceful slumber and nearly kills him. She would've finished him off [[spoiler:if not for Iris interrupting and stealing her kill]].
* SayMyName: (Her defeat in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'') "Shishooooooooo!" ("Masteeeeeerrrrrrr!")
* ShootTheDog: Grolla does this twice in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''. In one instance, she's forced to battle her own superior, Lady Sichte, because Sichte cannot bring herself to join her in stopping [[spoiler:Iris]]. Even after her defeat, Sichte still refuses to abandon her cause but promises that she will no longer stand in her way, asking her to strike her down if that is unacceptable. Downplayed in that Grolla spares her out of belief that [[CantKillYouStillNeedYou killing her would make her useful to no one.]]
** And then after that, her second and saddest ShootTheDog moment is when she's forced to take on the undead form of her own grandfather and mentor, Raimund Seyfarth. To her, being made to slay her grandpa and lay him back to rest again is EasilyForgiven. But, in her words, the fact that Graf Zeppelin interrupted his peaceful slumber by bringing him BackFromTheDead... [[ThisIsUnforgivable not so much]].
* ShoutOut:
** Her moveset in the first game's ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' mode references [[VideoGame/MegaManX Zero]], giving her multi-hit melee attacks as well as a WallJump and a dash.
** She quotes [[Literature/TheGardenOfSinners Shiki Ryougi]] when confronting the [[AdvancingBossOfDoom Demon]]'s [[AdvancingWallOfDoom Wall]].
* SilenceYouFool: She says this when Tia says that she's not siding with the Empire when she confronts her at the end of her stage in the main game.
** Similarly, when she confronts Graf Michael Zeppelin:
-->'''Michael''': "...Grolla. Such a rude entrance... How ludicrously fitting for a traitor."\
'''Grolla''': "Silence, demon! Know that the price for toying with the souls of the dead is high!"
* SmugSuper: When fighting the Cross Wall, she tells it to show her its worst as she says there's nothing her blade can't cut, and when Tia uses up her last life against her as a boss, she gets a tendency to mock her failed attempts against her. [[spoiler:And in the Last Stage of her mode, she's even willing to rip Iris apart just the same no matter whether she's a god, a human, or even an insect.]]
* SpellMYNameWithAnS: In at least the original (Japanese) release, her last name was spelled "Sayfalth" at the end of her own game mode. [[spoiler:Considering it comes immediately after the scene of the castle crumbling in the ending, this MAY be an intentional homage to the end of the original ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaI'', despite everyone else's names in the cast roll being consistent (including her grandfather).]]
%%* TheStoic
* SwordBeam: The traditional shockwave type that she fires off her Grollschwert, which also becomes a 3-way SpreadShot when she TurnsRed in the first game, and blade beams when she is close to defeat.
* SwordPlant: One of her new moves in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* ThisCannotBe: ''"...!? This chilling sensation... it can't be... Am I, a Seyfarth, afraid of a mere child!?"''
* ThisIsUnforgivable: After she killed her resurrected grandfather:
-->'''Grolla''': "Michael Zeppelin... Your reasons mean nothing to me. There will be no mercy. You shall pay for this with your life."
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: A tomboyish knight, to her [[GirlyGirl mistress]] Sichte.
* {{Tsundere}}: A certain fan of the English ''Rosenkreuzstilette'' community [[http://kurotama.sakura.ne.jp/diary/diary201204.html managed to get WOMI]] to spill the beans on this (scroll to the bottom of the April 23rd entry); like Freu, mostly everybody sees the cold and strict woman that she is, but she has a bit of a softer side only known to Sichte and grandfather Raimund.
%%* TsurimeEyes
* UnstoppableRage: She'll stop at nothing to get revenge on anyone who presses her BerserkButton in any way.
* VideoGameDashing: One of her repertoire of abilities.
* ViolenceIsTheOnlyOption: Again, she's not too good with words.
* WallJump: Like Zero, she can jump off of walls and scale them in this fashion.
* WhatTheHellAreYou: When [[spoiler:Iris]] attacks and heavily injures Grolla with her magic, she becomes so shocked about the fact that [[spoiler:she]] somehow managed to obtain such powerful magic that she hits [[spoiler:her]] with this trope.
* WorthyOpponent: Trau would compliment her for being a pretty tough swords(wo)man after being bested by her. If Zorne has already been defeated, she even admits that she's jealous.
* YouHaveToBelieveMe: She knows that [[spoiler:Iris is using RKS against the Empire just for fun]]. She tells her colleagues the truth, but they don't believe her. When the convincing fails, she goes into "GoodIsNotNice" mode and beats them up just to get them out of her way.
-->'''Grolla''': "I have stated my reasons. I will not repeat myself."\
'''Freudia''': "At the moment, you cannot be trusted."\
'''Grolla''': "And yet the truth remains unchanged..."\
'''Freudia''': "We might as well cease this debate. Words shall get us nowhere."\
'''Grolla''': "My thoughts from the very beginning. If my words cannot persuade you, perhaps my blade can sway you instead!"
* YouMonster: She calls Graf Zeppelin a demon or a devil (both of which come close to monster) because he meddled with the dark arts to disrupt her grandfather's peaceful slumber.
-->'''Grolla''': "Any last words, demon?"
* YoureInsane: After [[spoiler:Iris murders a priest for the lulz]], we got this exchange:
-->'''Grolla''': "What was that...!? [[spoiler:Iris]], what is the meaning of this!?"\
[[spoiler:Iris]]: "...! How careless of me. I wasn't expecting an audience so soon."\
'''Grolla''': "What do you think you're doing!? [[spoiler:Iris]], have you gone mad!?"

The TeamMom of RKS, Sichte is a level-headed and mature decision maker with keen judgement who is the active leader of the RKS Strike Force. She often frets about her troubled childhood since she was born and raised in the slums, thus having trouble with having faith in those older than her. Ruthless in enemy faces, she's kind and caring to others. She's Grolla's close friend and mistress. Also tends to talk about fate and the future.

Her ability is Die Geplante Zukunft, which allows her to speed up, slow down, or even stop time, and unleash magical energy in the form of small green emerald shards.

----
!!Tropes related with Sichte:
%%* AmbiguouslyBrown
* BoobBasedGag: When Strudel nestles herself into Sichte's cleavage after Freudia defeats her.
* BulletTime: Part of her Die Geplante Zukunft's powers.
* ClothingDamage: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', to the lower half of her shirt that she somehow got sometime prior to the events of said game.
* CoDragons: As the active leader of the RKS Strike Force, she and Freudia lead the strike against the Empire on Michael’s orders, while Raimund guards the Zeppelin castle.
* ColourCodedTimeStop: She can do a timestop that turns things grayscale.
* DeathFromAbove: One of her attacks when she TurnsRed has her come down with a giant brick block from above after resuming time (which makes it another subtle reference to Dio).
* FanservicePack: She was already very curvy in the first game, but she becomes even moreso in ''Freudenstachel''. Her breasts, in particular, appear much fuller.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Sichte's generally kind and caring, but being the field leader of the rebellion, she's shown to be dense. She also will not forgive traitors.
* GracefulLoser: In the first game, she compliments Spiritia's strength after the latter defeats her in the main story, and in ''Freudenstachel'', she gladly takes her defeat by Freudia really well too.
* TheLeader: You actually thought the active leader was Tia? Well, she may be TheHeroine and she may be marked as the first member of RKS, but it's actually Sichte herself who's the true active leader of RKS' strike force. As a matter of fact, many members of RKS (Grolla included) refer to her as their superior.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "CRASH MAN" by Extra Ocean (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), "Night Fire" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme), and "The Ancient Cry" by Wingless Seraph (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme).
* MeaningfulName: Her full name can loosely mean "master of future sight", fitting with her powers.
* MsFanservice: More so in the second game. She has huge breasts while wearing a low-cut tube top in addition to showing off her midriff via ClothingDamage.
* NiceGirl: Sichte may be [[GoodIsNotSoft ruthless in the face of enemies and traitors alike]], but she's a good person to everyone else.
* NotSoStoic:
** In ''Grollschwert'', she uses this expression when she's worried about Grolla after she retreats when she tries to order her to lower her weapon and not hurt [[spoiler:Iris (despite the WoundedGazelleGambit pulled off by her, which she didn't know about)]], and when she shows sadness when Grolla uses up her last life against her, and again when the two bid farewells to one another after Grolla defeats her.
** ''Freudenstachel'' plays this for laughs when she's embarrassed from the fact that Strudel's fitting herself in between her breasts.
* ShoutOut:
** Her stage, powers, and boss fight are all a shout out to Dio Brando from ''Manga/JoJosBizarreAdventure''; Even Spiritia's GameOver screen for that stage is drawn in the style of the manga, with Spiritia saying Jotaro's CatchPhrase. In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', she even does a move akin Dio Brando's infamous "ROAD ROLLER da!!", and the way she speeds up time a reminiscent of Enrico Pucci's Stairway to Heaven.
** Her emerald shard attacks are also a shout-out to Noriaki Kakyoin's ''Emerald Splash'' attack from the same series.

A peaceful, compassionate young girl who adores flowers, she's currently under the care of her brother Kahl. She's able to manipulate the weather, but avoids using her powers as much as possible because she has trouble controlling them. Being a pacifist, she hates violence and the notion of fighting. She's always willing to do anything for Kahl's sake because she loves him THAT much.

Her ability is Liebessturm, which lowers her proximity's atmospheric pressure before unleashing a heavy downpour of rain. It takes time to charge it, but the results can be devastating.

----
!!Tropes related with Liebea:
%%* ActuallyADoombot: The first time you fight her in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel.''
* ApologeticAttacker: She has shades of this.
-->'''Liebea''': "Forgive me, Miss Tia..."
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's generally a kind, innocent girl, but if you hurt her feelings in any way, she won't stop crying until she beats you down completely, either by rain, wind, or any other kind of weather manipulation.
* BigBrotherWorship: Holds her brother Kahl in high regard, and she is willing to do anything for his sake.
* BlessedWithSuck: Lampshaded by one of her pre-fight quotes.
* BlowYouAway: Her DesperationAttack will also blow you off the stage if you're not careful.
* DespairEventHorizon: In the first game, Liebea was over the edge of this trope for a while when Graf Zeppelin told her that the Empire had taken Kahl captive and that there was no hope to pray for his safe return. [[spoiler:However, she didn't know that it was Zeppelin himself who had imprisoned Kahl, and he had actually lied to her out of fear that she would become an adversary of the organization.]] She gets better, of course.
* EmotionlessGirl: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', she appears to be this when Freu fights her... [[spoiler:until she defeats her and not only rips off all her clothing, but also sees that the Liebea she fought is a fake!]]
* GirlInTheTower: In the first game.

* InnocentFlowerGirl: She also loves flowers.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "30" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), "dear" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme), "Ice Flower" by SHW (''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' stage theme)
* MeaningfulName: "Liebe" means "love". It reflects her love for her brother.
* NiceGirl: Alongside Spiritia and Sichte, Liebea is one of the nicest people in the organization of Rosenkreuzstilette. This even shows in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' [[spoiler:as she's willing to look after Pamela after the latter was just badly injured by Eifer's surprise attack while Freu goes to deal with her and Iris]].
* PowerIncontinence: When she's upset, her weather powers go out of control; this is what causes her to "attack" Spiritia in the first game.
* PowerOfTheStorm: She can manipulate rainstorms and gusts of wind.
* RoseHairedSweetie: She has pink hair and she has a peaceful and compassionate personality.
* ShoutOut:
** Her main attack the first game has her prepare a screen-wide rain attack that can only be interrupted by hitting her before she uses it, which brings to mind [[VideoGame/MegaMan4 Toad Man's]] Rain Flush, which covers the same range and is prevented the same way.
** ''Freudenstachel'' gives her an attack where she fires U-shaped ice projectiles in the air, which can turn 90 degrees once to function as a crude HomingProjectile; in motion, it highly resembles [[VideoGame/MegaMan3 Magnet Man's]] Magnet Missile.
** She sometimes says "[[VideoGame/TheKingOfFighters koko desu ka]]" when performing her Liebesstrum in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
%%* ShrinkingViolet
* SmartBomb: Her Liebessturm can hit any enemy on screen.
* TechnicalPacifist: She hates violence but has trouble controlling her powers.

* WhenSheSmiles: Telling from some official artwork as well as some of her ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' mugshots, Liebea actually gets happy and even smiling expressions on rare occasions.
* WarmupBoss: See WillfullyWeak below. She's arguably the easiest boss in the first game. Even without Freudenstachel, she still leaves herself wide open when charging her Liebessturm and can even be knocked out of it with a few normal shots, leaving her to attack only with easily dodgeable magic projectiles.
* WillfullyWeak: In the first game, she's trying not to attack ''even in her boss fight'', the "attacks" she uses just being a side effect of [[PowerIncontinence her emotions causing her to release her powers by accident]]. Not so much in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', [[spoiler:though this is quickly explained to be because the ''real'' Liebea isn't even there, and the one being fought is a mindless homonculus.]]
* ZeroEffortBoss: In the first game, shooting her interrupts her Liebessturm and causes her to retaliate with an easily avoidable jump. However, she averts this trope in ''Freudenstachel'' by having a completely different attack pattern.

Schwer's a reclusive young girl who dislikes interacting with others, having been forced to subside in a barren, bestial environment before being placed in RKS's care. Because of this trauma that burdens her to this day, she's generally suspicious of everyone she meets. She feels that her only friend is her pet squid Zeppy.

Her ability is Geisterwand, which generates a circle of mace/cross-like objects around her, forming a barrier. While it's primarily a defensive ability, it can also be used for offensive purposes.
----
!!Tropes related with Schwer-Muta:
* AnimalMotifs: Her outfit seems to resemble either a cat or a wolf.
* BarrierWarrior: Her weapon is an OrbitingParticleShield made of small maces or shields.
* {{Catchphrase}} / VerbalTic: Zeppy's "Kwui-kwui", which is pretty much the only thing he ever says.
* CreepyChild: Mostly because of her anti-social nature.
-->'''Schwer-Muta''': "Everyone should just fall apart!"
* TheEeyore: She's always so depressed plus she often uses a low voice and always a soft voice. Not to mention she's very shy.
** Interesting to note is that she often attacks anyone who comes near out of distrust towards everyone she comes across. In the first game, she attacked like that because everybody missed her birthday. As Tia puts it, "We've all been pretty busy... Everything's been hectic lately."
* FreudianExcuse: The reason she attacks others is just out of distrust, due to the fact that she was forced into attempting to survive a barren, bestial environment before being placed under RKS's care, a trauma that burdens her to today. In the first game, she attacked Tia because nobody came to her birthday party.
%%* {{Hikikomori}}
* {{Leitmotif}}: "33" by [=AM3=] (''Rosenkreuzstilette'' stage theme), and "Little Mischief" by Ramine (talk theme).

* MeaningfulName: "Schwermut" means "melancholy" in German, which more than speaks for her personality.
%%* MisanthropeSupreme
* MoodWhiplash: Opposite of Zorne and Trau. Her talk theme is actually LighterAndSofter than her stage theme.
* NonhumanSidekick: Zeppy the squid.
* OffscreenStartBonus: More like Offscreen Start Requirement in her stage. [[spoiler:You have to go left to enter the stage, because on the right is a death trap where the start would normally be]].
** In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', starting the stage by going ''either'' way will actually take you out of the stage and back to the stage select screen. [[spoiler:You have to continue by falling into a death pit]].
* PaintingTheMedium: Zeppy spits out ink that covers the screen for a short time.
* TheQuietOne: She's pretty silent most of the time. Until Zeppy breaks the silence, that is. Even so, Schwer is still pretty quiet when she speaks.
* ShoutOut: Matching the several ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' references in her stage, ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' gives her an attack similar to Lemmy and Wendy Koopa's main attacks from ''VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld'', where she hides in a series of pipes, blending in with decoys of herself.
* ShrinkingViolet: So much that she considers Zeppy to be her only friend. Her official art from ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' even has her [[PaintingTheMedium hiding behind the border of the image.]]
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Zeppy was translated as Seppy in the FanTranslation, but his official name is "Zeppy" according to their stage titles in the sequel.
%%* TaremeEyes
* TheUnintelligible: As Grolla would say, "As usual, she makes no sense".
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: She has shades of this; though unlike most examples she isn't actively hostile towards everyone, as she only wanted to be alone.
** It may also be because she feels betrayed and forgotten, since no one came to her birthday party. When Tia wishes her happy birthday, she's ''moved''.

She is a member of the Special Forces Unit of the RKS who's also a hard worker and hates to lose. She's calm in the heat of battle as well as a formidable warrior, but can also sometimes be careless and make mistakes at crucial times. She's very intelligent but knows very little about the outside world, and can also easily become jealous. She's incredibly strong despite her age and carries a huge shuriken-like boomerang called Fesselspirale around with her all by herself.

Her ability of the same name as her weapon revolves around said weapon itself, which she can gather wind power from the solar objects around her and use it to hurl in a fashion normally impossible.

----
!!Tropes related with Doris:
* BerserkButton: In a similar fashion to Edward Elric of ''Manga/FullMetalAlchemist'', [[TheNapoleon she doesn't take too well to being called small.]]
* BlowYouAway: She gathers wind power from anything around her to use to hurl her Fesselspirale.
* CuteBruiser: Even with wind-manipulation powers, it takes considerable amount of power to wield her weapon properly.
* FuumaShuriken: Her Fesselspirale resembles one.
* GirlishPigtails: She is usually seen with her hair worn as twin-tails.

%%** HighlyVisibleNinja
* GreenEyedMonster: She easily becomes jealous of things, and she has a jealously-fueled rivalry towards Luste as she was promoted to a higher position than Doris. In a screenshot of the April Fool's ''[=RosenkreuzStilette=] Lusteatem'', she appears to be jealous of Luste even more upon encountering her [[SheIsAllGrownUp aged up]] and bustier than before.
* HairAntennae: Has two antennae sticking out of the center of her head where her hairline starts.
* HeadphonesEqualIsolation: Inverted, she's actually very close to everyone else in RKS.
* {{Hypocrite}}: Doris' responds to Strudel poking fun at her short size by calling Strudel a "midget" when she's not much taller than anyone else in the RKS.
* InsufferableGenius: She's a very intelligent individual and she tends to come off as quite rude at times. Her hatred towards losing may even suggest arrogance.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: She surprisingly views Schirach as her idol and wants to become like her, even if Schirach is no longer a member of RKS. The reason for this is because Schirach made her Fesselspirale for her.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Illusion Field" by Wingless Seraph (stage theme), "B10" by RP-MUSIC (talk theme)
* LittleMissBadass: She might be short, but don't call her that as she can put up a good fight and can dart around her opponents before they'll know what hit them.
* NoIndoorVoice: Hoo boy! To say she's loudmouthed would be quite an understatement!
* NotQuiteFlight: She can spin her Fesselspirale fast enough to allow her to fly around to an extent.
* PrecisionFStrike: In ''Weißsilber'', at least, she lets slip a short sentence of "Damn it!" twice during her conversations with Pamela.
* TheRival: Luste may be her superior, but Doris has quite a one-sided rivalry with her.
* SkilledButNaive: There's no doubt that she's very smart, but unfortunately for her, she doesn't seem to know much about the world outside.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Doris or Dolis? The official English translation Romanizes her name as the former, while in the original Japanese version it's the latter.

The legendary Magus who dedicated his life to the Magi and helped them each live lives free of fear and persecution. Ultimately, he and his eight disciples took a stand against the Holy Empire and the Orthodox Church in a long and grueling war that ultimately ended with his HeroicSacrifice having the Empire accept the Magi as their subordinates, founding the RKS. A few decades later, he was reincarnated into two separate beings: Iris, with his absolute power and unparalelled brains, and Tia, with his soul as well as his strongest ability: the ability to tap into the strength of others'.

The leader of RKS and Iris and Zorne's father. An imperial nobleman, he's an authority on magic research and a powerful Magus. He's looked up to like a father to all the other RKS members, especially Zorne, who, despite the lack of blood ties, even regards him as her real father for saving her life once.\
After Kahl Palesch tried and failed to kill Iris, and Michael learned that he was a spy for the Empire, he launched a coup against the Empire to protect Iris and help the Magi build a world just for them. But unbeknownst to himself, Iris was playing him for a fool, and would kill him upon his defeat.\
In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', he is revived by Iris and brainwashed into believing that Tia was the one who killed him, serving as the first boss of the Iris Palace. He is killed once again by Freudia.

!!Tropes related with Graf Michael Zeppelin:

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudensatchel'', by Iris. She brainwashed him into thinking that Tia murdered him and that Iris brought him back through her prayers, as well as becoming an OmnicidalManiac.
* DarkIsNotEvil: He apparently made a DealWithTheDevil and therefore gained demonic powers, and is leading the rebellion to destroy the Empire. Despite that, he cares for his own fellow magi very much, and he did so just to build a world where magi can live in peace and ensure the safety of his daughter Iris, who he didn't know was just pitting them against the Empire for her enjoyment.

* DiscOneFinalBoss: He is built up as the villain of the first game as he is the commander of RKS, but after he is defeated in his castle, Iris promptly kills him and reveals that she convinced him to rebel for her own amusuement. Spiritia then has to traverse yet another four fortress levels.
* DubNameChange: The name of "Michael Sepperin-hakushaku" is officially rendered as Graf Michael Zeppelin ("Graf" in German or "hakushaku" in Japanese essentially equating to "Count" in English), but in the FanTranslation, his name was established as Count Michael Sepperin. This change in the official translation was justified as [erka:es] intended [[NamedAfterSomebodyFamous to name him after someone famous]], but the word choice threw it off a bit.
* EvilSoundsDeep: He is the supposed BigBad and has a deep voice to match, though he is very much AffablyEvil.

* ShockwaveStomp: In his second form, he causes tremors whenever he lands after he jumps, temporarily stunning the player.
* ShoutOut: His entire boss battle in the first game is one to the final battle of ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaRondoOfBlood'', his Dracula-esque outfit complimenting a mix of teleportation and fire attacks. 865----
!!Tropes related with Kahl:
* BaritoneOfStrength: Kahl speaks with an awesome baritone and he's been known to fight out of care for his colleagues.
* CrossAttack: He's depicted with a cross boomerang.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: Or Disc Two Final Boss. The original game briefly makes it look he will turn out to be the real BigBad, as Michael reveals that it was his attempted murder of Iris at the behest of the Church that turned him on the path to rebellion. However, when Micheal is killed, it is not Kahl, but Iris who does it, and she is the one who tricked him into going to war.
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: A subverted example; it appears as though he, Liebea's unseen brother who was only mentioned in her cutscenes and was supposedly captured by the Empire, was actually an Empire spy sent to kill Micheal's daughter Iris and is responsible for driving Michael to rebel, but it was actually Iris who caused the war and framed Kahl for being a spy when he really was not.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: He somehow learned of Iris plotting to have RKS go to war with the Empire, and tried to stop her; so she falsely accused him of being a spy and had him imprisoned.
* HeroicBuild: He's got a muscular build in his body and he fights for the sakes of the other members of RKS and his younger sister Liebea.
* {{Hunk}}: He's taller than the other members of RKS, he's muscular, and he looks handsome in a very {{Bishounen}} way that makes him look slightly prettier than most other Hunks.
* HyperactiveMetabolism: He can replenish health back to full, just like Spiritia did in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'', but with a pork chop.
* RedHeadedHero: He's got reddish hair and he fights for the sake of his comrades.
* ReligiousBruiser: Kahl carries around holy cross boomerangs and looks rather muscular himself.
* ScarfOfAsskicking: As shown in his mugshots, though his other sprites and portraits don't show him wearing them.
* ShoutOut: A VampireHunter who carries a chain whip in a similar fashion to the Belmonts with a fully-powered up whip in the classic ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}'' games.
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: "Karl" was the logical name choice in the FanTranslation, but his name was officially romanized as "Kahl" for his physical appearance in the sequel.
%%* TallDarkAndHandsome
* TheUnseen: In the first game. Averted in ''Weißsilber'', where he is the boss of Pamela's stage.
* VampireHunter: According to the 2011 April Fool's update, he was "planned" to play similarly to most of the heroes of ''Castlevania'' fame, plus his side-game was "planned" to be a ''Castlevania''-clone as well. Had it not been an April Fool's Joke, Kahl would've become the first playable character not to be based on one from Mega Man. However, many of his attacks as a boss in Pamela's side story are call-backs to ''Castlevania'', such as his whip and cross boomerang.
* WalkingSpoiler: His actual role in the games is hard to talk about, being revealed as an Empire spy (and then revealed as ''not '' a spy, as it was a lie by Iris) and having a surprise boss fight in the sequel.

----
!!Tropes related with Talos:
* AndroclesLion: In return for being freed from slavery, he helps Spiritia/Grolla cross the chasm to Iris's chamber and rescues the former upon the destruction of Iris' fortress.
* BookEnds: Appears in the prologue stage to sweep Iris away on his back. In the last stage, Spiritia flies on him to reach Iris.
* CaptainErsatz: Resembles Wyverns from ''Castlevania'' games, sprite-wise.
* GentleGiant: According to Spiritia, from what Freudia said to her, dragons are gentle creatures that happen to be misunderstood. Talos is no exception, he was just slaving away at Iris' whelms, and he wasn't enjoying it.

A young girl placed under the care of RKS. Iris appears to be a kind, innocent, and mature-for-her-age girl who's much loved and trusted by everyone. However, that's just a facade: underneath her so-called "innocent demeanor" lies an utterly cruel manipulator who's willing to do everything in her power for her own personal gain. She likes to sing as she talks, as evidenced by the eighth note (♪) placed at the end of her sentences. Everything she does, no matter how cruel or hurtful, is all done for her amusement. She's also a reincarnation of the legendary Magus Rosenkreuz, blessed with absolute power and unparalleled brains, and with that, she seeks to usurp God himself.\
She's back to her deplorable ways in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', where she is revealed to be the one who manipulated the Schwarzkreuz through her homonculus Pope and Eifer Skute, an homunculus she crafted using Freudia's genes as a base.\
Her ability is Blitzstrahl, which lets her unleash electric sphere attacks and even generate bolts of lightning in different directions at once.

----
!!Tropes related with Iris:
* AGodAmI: She considers herself a god and desires to gain true divine power after realizing that she was born with ''absolute power and unparalleled brains'', all thanks to being reincarnated from Rosenkreuz himself.
-->'''Iris Zeppelin''': I have transcended humanity. I, Iris Zeppelin, have become a God! A worthless insect like yourself can't hope to stop me.\
'''Spiritia Rosenberg''': I may not know how great of a man Rosenkreuz was, but I know you're no god. If you don't have a heart pure enough to control your power, that power will end up controlling you!
** She also claims to be a child of God himself when confronted by Grolla in the final stage of ''Grollschwert''.
--->'''Iris Zeppelin''': Of course. I exist on a higher plane than you commoner trash. Shall I enlighten you on how special I really am? I am the strongest Magus in existence, the heiress to the limitless power of the great Rozenkreuz! Blessed with absolute power and unparalleled brains, I am a child of God himself! I can't be compared to the likes of you!
* AbusiveOffspring: Iris manipulates Count Zeppelin into starting a rebellion against the Empire for her entertainment, then kills her own father and declares that she has no further use for him when the player character has him at her mercy. Then, in ''Freudenstachel'', she brings his corpse back from the dead and brainwashes him to her liking, manipulating him into thinking that Spiritia was the one who killed him instead and that her prayers salvaged his soul, and into thinking of Iris herself as the only absolute and going into OmnicidalManiac mode.
* ArchEnemy: To Spiritia over the course of the endgame of ''Rosenkreuzstilette'', and Freudia due to similar circumstances, being cemented in ''Freudenstachel'', where Freudia firmly declares her intent to kill Iris after she brainwashed Spiritia.
* AxCrazy: She's a sadistic, mad girl who will gladly go so far as cold-blooded murder to revel in her victim's suffering. Her whole EvilPlan and the destruction it caused was psychopathic cruelty for it's own sake.
* AndIMustScream: Her final fate at the end of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' is to be imprisoned in an ice crystal for eternity.
* BeyondRedemption: In ''Freudenstachel'', Freudia mentions that Spiritia once believed Iris could change for the better, but she's proven incapable of doing such a thing, which is all the more reson why she refuses to let her live. Considering all the terrible deeds she committed throughout the series up to that point just to satisfy her twisted amusement, it's safe to say that it's no wonder Freu wants Iris dead at that point in the game.
* BigBad: Of both games. In the original, she manipulates her father, Count Michael Zeppelin, into organizing the rebellion against the Holy Empire for her amusement, and in the sequel she takes control of the Orthodox Church via her homonculus Pope to capture Magi en masse and steal their powers for herself.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: She is good at pretending to be an innocent CheerfulChild, while actaully being a power-hungry schemer who pitted RKS and the Empire against each other.
* CheerfulChild: Her façade is a sweet and innocent girl who acts like a little sister to the RKS.
* TheChessmaster: She spends both games RunningBothSides of the Empire-RKS war, setting them up against each other, for her amusement.
* ClassicVillain: Not only does she embody the deadly sins as listed in the SevenDeadlySins section below, she also embodies Ambition (as in her ambition to usurp God) and serves as the EvilCounterpart to Tia's IncorruptiblePurePureness.
* CombatPragmatist: Both the first game and the sequel seem to portray her as this. When you first face off against her, she attacks you from within her massive Iris Machine, and, in the first game and its side-story, she continues her attacks from within the safety of her Iris Capsule. In ''Freudenstachel'' and its own side-story, she sics a BrainwashedAndCrazy Tia on you. It's only during the final phases of both of the final boss battles that she decides to fight you head-on. And after her defeat in the first game, what does she do? She pulls off an ISurrenderSuckers and self-destructs her palace, trying to take you down with it.
* CoolCrown: She gets a tiara on her forehead in the first game's climax.
* CuteAndPsycho: Shows at the end of the first game in both modes. At first, in both stories, she's definitely cute, but she gets the Psycho part even more when she gets her VillainousBreakdown just before the final battle, as she starts laughing maniacally and very quickly changes her prim and proper attitude to insane motormouthed arrogance.
* DaddysLittleVillain: Inverted in that she is using her father and pulls off the "YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness" deal on him. She didn't care about his death - but he, in her words, was certainly entertaining.
* DefeatEqualsExplosion: At the end of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'', she starts exploding after Pamela slashes her with her sword.
* DidYouActuallyBelieve: "Do you honestly believe you're a match for me?"
* EnfantTerrible: She is a cute little girl who also happens to be a GodhoodSeeker and the mastermind behind the RKS rebellion and subsequent war.
* {{Expy}}:
** She borrows a couple of mannerisms and creations from fellow BigBad [[VideoGame/MegaManClassic Dr. Albert Wily]], with her flying saucer from both games resembling his. The second form of her machine in ''Freudenstachel'' also resembles the [[VideoGame/MegaMan6 Wily Machine 6]], and in her final form, she can summon energy orbs that aim at the player, pause, then redirect themselves to the player's new position, overall resembling the main attack of the Wily Capsule from ''VideoGame/MegaMan7''.
** One of her quotes, "Oh, I'm so anxious to rip you apart!", is one to Double from ''Mega Man X4'' (fittingly, both him and Iris are shown to be well-mannered people in the good guys' side before being revealed as evil and sadistic).
** Her quote, "Grovel in the dirt like an insect, and the insect I know you are", is one to Dracula's victory quote from ''VideoGame/CastlevaniaJudgment''.
* EvilPlan: She manipulates the RKS into enacting a coup and fighting a war that they have no chance of winning by telling her father that Kahl is a spy of the Empire and that he may have told the Empire Iris' secrets.
* FateWorseThanDeath: Depending on how you interpret the ending of ''Freudenstachel'', either Freu freezes her to death or keeps her trapped in ice as a HumanPopsicle for all of eternity, which definitely qualifies as this.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: She looks adorable and kind, but it's a facade that hides her cold and ruthless side.
* FinalBoss: She's the last hurdle in both games.
* ForTheEvulz: She made RKS fight against the Empire for laughs and even amuses herself with other people's, especially Zorne's and Grolla's, suffering.
* GreenEyedMonster: She becomes this towards Spiritia during her breakdown upon realizing that Tia is Rosenkreuz's other incarnation and that she's going to eliminate her out of jealousy for the right of being the sole ruler of the world.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Subverted. She's a young girl with blonde hair who seems to be kind-hearted, judging from the glimpses of her personality. However, it's later revealed that [[BitchInSheepsClothing she's the opposite]].
* HatedByAll: While a VillainWithGoodPublicity in the first game, none of the other characters have had a good opinion of her ever since she betrayed RKS, murdered her own father in cold blood, and revealed that she started their war on the Empire for laughs. And even before then - and even before she revealed the AwfulTruth - she still had a couple of detractors who either already hated her from the very beginning, were rightfully suspicious of her, or both, such as Zorne and Kahl.
* HijackedByGanon: Iris, who instigated the war between RKS and the Church in the first game, is revealed to be behind the Dark Magi and Spiritia's kidnapping, having been posing as the Pope via a homunculus. Probably not a huge surprise, considering [[Franchise/MegaMan what this game is a homage to]].

%%* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation
* ISurrenderSuckers: Just like her inspiration Dr. Wily, she grovels upon surrendering to Tia after she loses... and then she activates the self-destruct mechanism of the castle, trying to [[TakingYouWithMe take Tia down with her]]. It doesn't work when it comes to Freudia in the sequel, who just freezes her.
* KickTheDog: She does this quite a lot throughout the first game, such as killing a priest in the beginning of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'' just for laughs. She also makes Grolla fight her grandfather just to cause her pain and kills her own father in part to make Zorne miserable, whcih winds up driving her to [[DrivenToSuicide attempted suicide]].
* KillItWithIce: She ends up on the receiving end of it at the end of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' when an extremely pissed off Freudia decides to freeze her to death.

* LightIsNotGood: She is an adorable blonde girl with golden wings in her second phase, and is the real BigBad behind the RKS-Empire war. Her Fortresses are also prominently themed after gold and light, looking handsomely decorated.
* LoadBearingBoss: After defeating her for the last time, her castle self-destructs.
* TheManBehindTheMan: She's the one who convinced her father to rebel against the Empire as part of her own plan.
* ManipulativeBastard: She manipulated RKS into launching the coup against the Empire just for kicks. Then she did the same thing in the second game, this time with the SK.
* MeaningfulName: She seems to be named after (and be similarly) to Iris, the rainbow goddess, and Eris, the goddess of chaos. Like the rainbow goddess of the same name (only with a different pronounication), her OneWingedAngel transformation appears to be a beautiful maiden with wings, and like Eris, she delights in causing as much mayhem as possible just for fun, mainly by manipulating others into attacking one another. Iris herself [[AGodAmI claims to be a god]] anyway, so this makes perfect sense.
* OhCrap: She uses this expression when Grolla overhears her plot to have RKS fight against the Empire for kicks in the beginning of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert''. She also uses this expression right before Freudia freezes her at the end of ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''.
* OneWingedAngel: In the final battles of both games, she turns into a seraphic version of herself.
* PitifulWorms: In addition to her claims to be a god, she'll never miss an opportunity to call other people "worthless maggots".
* PowerGivesYouWings: In her OneWingedAngel form, she has several golden wings.
* PragmaticVillainy: Through the Pope, she orders the Schwarzkreuz to capture the Magi unharmed- because she can't take their powers for herself if they're killed before she can get to them. She authorizes them to kill any particularly troublesome ones who won't surrender themselves.
* PrincessClassic: She seems to have shades of this. She's very intellectual, as much as Rosenkreuz himself, plus in the first game, she's very well-dressed in elegant clothing, similar to that of a real princess. Of course, this is then inverted, as she's really more evil and malicious than expected.
* PsychoElectro: She's sadistic, [[AxCrazy unstable]], and has [[ShockAndAwe electric powers]] due to her ability Blitzstrahl. She qualifies even further when she gets her VillainousBreakdown.
* PsychoPink: Her dress incorporates pink, [[BitchInSheepsClothing she seems innocent initially]], and she's evil to the core.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She's a vicious, {{manipulative|bitch}}, and dangerous individual with red eyes.
%%* SevenDeadlySins: She pretty much embodies a lot, if not all, of the deadly sins. Here's a list below:
%%** {{Pride}}: She definitely takes pride of being basically a "god's reincarnation" and sees others as commoners. She also can't accept defeat.
%%** {{Lust}}: The lust for pleasure and excitement... over other people's misery, that is.
%%** [[GreenEyedMonster Envy]]: She becomes jealous of Tia at the end of the main game upon learning that she's the other incarnation of Rosenkreuz and that "the world needs only one Rosenkreuz".
%%** {{Greed}}: This is linked to her Ambition. She will not let anyone else standing in the way to godhood, manipulating them all to ensure that.
%%* ShockAndAwe: Her Blitzstrahl ability.
* TheSociopath: She lacks a conscience or [[LackOfEmpathy any empathy]], has no emotional connections to anyone including [[{{Patricide}} her own father]], and views her pawns as expendable. She also manipulates others, [[AGodAmI possesses a grandiose sense of self-worth]], and cares for nobody but herself.
* SmugSuper: She believes herself to be incomparable to everyone else since she claims to be a god, and always boasts about it.
%%* SoftSpokenSadist
* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Her surname is "Sepperin" in the fan translation and "Zeppelin" in the official one.
* TeleportSpam: She employs this tactic on the battles against her capsule and then against her seraphic form.
* ThisCannotBe: She says many variations of this whenever she is defeated.
* ThisIsTheFinalBattle: ''"I would kill you here and now, but I have a better idea. I'll let you prepare yourselves for a final showdown. You had better get ready!"''
* {{Troll}}: She really enjoys going out of her way to personally antagonize her enemies:
** In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Grollschwert'', she's clearly amusing herself with pissing off Grolla as much as possible, and as Grolla continues her quest to get her revenge, Iris conjures up more ways to piss her off again -- just to have fun at her expense. Notably, she has her father revive Raimund with black magic, tethering his spirit to this world, specifically to make Grolla fight and kill her own beloved grandfather.
** In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', she manages to do it again, this time with Freu; she uses a possessed Tia to attack her just to have even more fun at Freu's own expense.
** In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'', Iris knew how proud Pamela looked when she returned to the High Chapel after kicking the RKS members' asses and couldn't resist wanting to tease her in the form of starting a conspiracy against her by having her Pope homunculus brand her as a heretic, strip her of her status and authority, and give her excommunication and exile. Pamela was clearly not happy with that, and Iris enjoyed every second of it.
* VerbalTic: The eighth note (♪) is often placed at the end of a lot of her sentences.
* VillainOpeningScene: She gets this in Grolla's side story, which shows her killing a priest and then framing Grolla for attacking her when she notices.
* VillainousBreakdown: She gets this on both stories, one each. One when she laughs madly as she realized that Tia is the other half of Rosenkreuz's reincarnation, another when Grolla said that she doesn't care who the heck she is and she wants to kill her, and a final one when Freudia beats her and reveals that [[OutGambitted Tia purposefully sealed off her own Rosenkreuz's power so Iris wouldn't be able to use her powers fully]], then Freudia declaring that she's not that merciful and kept her word that she will kill her, ending with a BigNo as Freudia froze her forever.
* VillainsWantMercy: Subverted; she begs for mercy from Tia, but [[ISurrenderSuckers as a ploy to bury her with her own castle]] via a self-destruct mechanism. Then played straight in ''Freudenstachel'' when she begs that Freudia won't go through what she planned to do (put her to a cold sleep eternally)... Except Freudia already ran out of craps to give and showed no mercy.
* WalkingSpoiler: And for many, MANY good reasons, which gave her a separate folder with a spoiler character warning.
* WaveMotionGun: Her new flying fortress in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'' gets one.
* WasntThatFun: For when you use up your last life against her during the second phase of the fight against her Iris Machine.
-->'''Iris''': "Now THAT was fun!♪"
** Alternatively, in Grollschwert:
-->'''Iris''': "Now THAT was quality entertainment.♪"
* WingedHumanoid: Her OneWingedAngel form has several wings, making her look like a seraphim.
* WoundedGazelleGambit:
** In the main game, Kahl learned of her plot to pit RKS against the Empire and tried to stop her, so she framed him as being a spy and had him locked up, then used that as a pretext to have her father declare war on the Empire.
** In ''Grollschwert'', Grolla happened to walk in on her killing a priest and talking about her evil plan, so she frames Grolla for attacking her and gets her declared a traitor.
* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: She pulls this on her father after the battle with him. She would have done the same to Spiritia if not for a BigDamnHeroes moment from Freudia.

* EvenEvilHasStandards:
** Not only does she not like the idea of being vilified upon learning that she's been branded a traitor by the pope and the rest of the Schwarzkreuz, she doesn't approve of [[spoiler:Count Zeppelin's idea of destroying the old world and creating a new one]], and she's also disgusted by [[spoiler:Iris' brainwashing of Tia]].
** In a PlayedForLaughs instance, she's also rather disgusted by Luste's [[{{Stripperific}} way of dressing herself]].
-->'''Pamela''': (to Luste) What in God's name are you wearing!? There are limits to indecency!
* EvilRedhead: The captain of a group of Dark Magi who persecute innocent Magi.
* FieryRedhead: Inverted most of the time, as she has a generally calm and polite demeanor, but do anything to make her angry and this trope becomes played straight. Bonus points for having some fire attacks as well.
* {{Foil}}: To Spiritia. Both are marked as the first members of their respective organizations, and they have white long-sleeved shirts as part of their outfits and are straightforward people with their own views of justice. While Tia is a NiceGirl with moral convictions that are second to none, Pamela, on the other hand, tends to be haughty and arrogant at times. Also, while Tia can use magic without any need for a physical weapon, Pamela is a MagicKnight who uses her magical sword Weißsilber to enable herself a variety of abilities for her own use.
* GeometricMagic: Pamela can draw magic circles with Weißsilber and manipulate the space within them, therefore gaining access to a variety of techniques.
* {{Gonk}}: Her Game Over screen is meant to be a ShoutOut to Adol Christin from ''[[VideoGame/{{Ys}} Ys III: Wanderers from Ys]]'', but it only succeeds in making her look ''extremely'' creepy.
* IllKillYou: Her profile quote. ''"I've been waiting for this! I will destroy you!"''
* ItsPersonal: [[spoiler: In ''Weißsilber'', after learning from Recht & Link that she's been labeled as a heretic and punished with excommunication and exile, and entering a brief VillainousBreakdown, Pamela recomposes herself and makes her intent to find and punish the villain behind the conspiracy against her very clear.]]
-->'''Pamela''': [[spoiler:I, the daughter of Arwig, a heretic!? [[ThisCannotBe Impossible!]] This must be some kind of mistake! Have I not been fighting in the name of God!? What could I have done to deserve this indignity!? Could someone be conspiring against me!? What about the others? Where are Eifer and Schirach? Why is no one coming to my aid!? I need to calm down... If I could just have an audience with His Holiness, we could clear up this misunderstanding... Yes... I will expose those behind this conspiracy... And I will make them pay. Dearly. For those who would tarnish my good name, there are fates far worse than death!]]
%%* KatanasAreJustBetter: See CoolSword above.
* KnightTemplar: She truly belives in her "holy mission" to round up and imprison the Magi, who she believes to be a threat to the Empire.
%%* LadyOfWar: The perky version of Grolla.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Earn the experience value" by Nine Gates (stage theme), "B55" by RP-MUSIC (talk theme), "Virgin's Battle in Dark Light" (''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'' Replay and Option theme)
%%* MagicKnight
* NobleDemon: More precisely, "Noble Demoness". While devoting herself to hunting the "witches" as she calls the members of RKS, when she resolves to do something heroic, she always keeps her word. This is especially shown in her story mode [[spoiler:when she frees Tia from Iris' influence by defeating both of them before reuniting Tia with Freu]].
* PetTheDog: [[spoiler:Reuniting Tia with Freu at the end of her game mode after beating up Iris and smashing her palace to rubble? This hints that she might not be so bad after all!]]
* PlayingWithFire: She has quite a few fire attacks up her sleeve, among them dashing while ablaze in the main game as well as causing flames to erupt from her fully-charged attack in her game mode.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: [[spoiler:She delivers one to Eifer after having heard the entire truth from Iris, and another awesome one later to Iris where she confesses that she was a conceited, self-aggrandizing fool and finds it fitting that Iris would lose after all the times she enjoyed criticizing her for her flaws.]]
-->'''Pamela''': [[spoiler:Hmph. You so enjoyed criticizing me for my flaws... Rubbing it in with a few choice words... Was I conceited? A self-aggrandizing fool? I confess. But, this is all the more fitting, isn't it?]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: [[CurtainsMatchTheWindow With matching red hair]].
* SayMyName: "Schiraaach!!"
* ShoutOut:
** Surprisingly, she might be one to Ky Kiske of ''VideoGame/GuiltyGear''. She and her organization even share the same symbol with him and his Sacred Order of Holy Knights!
** She can also be a ShoutOut to Angela Victoire Bledin from ''VisualNovel/PrincessWaltz'', right down to appearance.
* SmugSuper: She really takes high pride in herself, her sword, her abilities, and her organization. She also believes that her powers are not magic, but gifts given to her by God himself. Even when she starts going through hell in her story and starts questioning where she herself went wrong, she still manages to put up her haughtiness.
* StartMyOwn: After realizing that her Schwarzkreuz were nothing but a sham made by Iris, she decided that she'll restart the Schwarzkreuz under her own terms.
* SuperNotDrowningSkills: She sinks like a brick when in water, just like Spiritia and Grolla. Because of this, the game would add platforms not available in Freudenstachel for her to traverse areas that required Freudia to actually swim.
* SwordBeam: She shoots these from the [[FullContactMagic magic circles created by her Weißsilber]].
%%* TaremeEyes
* VillainousBreakdown: Pamela has a short, brief one in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'' after [[spoiler:Recht and Link both inform her that the Pope has punished her with excommunication and exile and branded her as a heretic. She immediately recomposes herself, though, and vows to find and expose her vilifier]].
* YouMonster: In [[spoiler:Weißsilber, Pamela calls Iris a monster during their confrontation in Iris Stage 3, stating that she corrupts, deceives, and murders.]]

[[caption-width-right:255:"Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust."]]
->''"Not quite. I don't want to fight you. I just want to kill you. That's all that matters to me."''

->'''Voiced by:''' Sou Raika
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''

Possibly the [[CreepyChild creepiest of the Schwarzkreuz bunch]]. She's always wearing heavy clothes due to chronic hypothermia, and despite her age she's actually cool-headed and mature. However, her emotions and mood can violently fluctuate, making her sometimes act out of character. For some unknown reasons, she seems to carry strong emotions towards Freu.

Later, after the Schwarzkreuz is defeated, Eifer is revealed to be TheMole, working with Iris Zeppelin and having manipulated the Schwarzkreuz all along.

Her ability is Eiferstachel, which lets her manipulate the location, density, and hardness of any object around her and use them to attack. She can turn any earthly metal or flora she finds into dangerous weapons in an instant.

----
!!Tropes related with Eifer:
* AlasPoorVillain: Neither Freudia nor Strudel feel good after defeating Eifer, who seems to have been desperate to achieve something like humanity through killing Freudia.
* AxCrazy: She doesn't show it at first, but when Freudia is around, she turns violent and tries to kill her. Also, in the GameOver screen for Iris Stage III, she and Iris plot to make the remaining humans, Magi, and homunculi kill each other for their amusement.
* BerserkButton: Freudia's mere presence is enough for the normally EmotionlessGirl speaking in a CreepyMonotone to suddenly turn violently murderous. As it turns out, this is because she is a clone of Freudia who wants desperately to surpass her and gain Iris' affection.
* BloodyTears: When Eifer returns to her normal form after the Dark Devil is defeated, her eyes cry tears of blood.
* CloneAngst: She is an homunculus crafted by Iris, using Freudia as template, and is overcome by the obsession to surpass the original, to the point of becoming murderously angry the moment she enters her field of view.
%%* CreepyChild
* CreepyMonotone: She speaks with this kind of monotone.
* DissonantSerenity: She tends to appear calm, even in battle. Unless she acts out of character, that is.
* TheDragon: Seemingly to Pamela, as she is the second-in-command of Schwarzkreuz. Later after [[TheStarscream betraying Pamela]], she revelas she is actually this to Iris.
* EasilyForgiven: In ''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'', Pamela invites her back into the Schwarzkreuz even after her betrayal and the reveal that she was using them alll along.
* EmotionlessGirl: She appears to be this when she first shows up, speaking in a CreepyMonotone. When Freudia is near her, though, she turns AxCrazy. The fact that Iris explicitly designed her to be unable to feel joy or serenity doesn't help.
* EvilGenius: She set in motion the events occurring in ''Freudenstachel'' by manipulating the other Schwarzkreuz into persecuting Magi.
* EvilIsDeathlyCold: She's one of the Schwarzkreuz, likes choosing cold places as her stages, and has her own variation of Freu's Freudenstachel.
* ExposedToTheElements: Her lower half, that is - the upper half is appropriately dressed for the cold climate of the Prologue Stage.
* GreenThumb: Subverted in that she actually manipulates density and location of an object. It's just that flora seems to be the more obvious choice for her.
%%* HellishPupils
%%* IcyBlueEyes
* IdiotHair: She has one beneath her hat. It's not a sign of idiocy, though. Instead, it is meant to be a hint of her connection to Freudia.
* ImColdSoCold: Eifer mutters this as part of her last few lines as she lies dying from her final fight with Freu.
* KickTheDog: Her betrayal against the Schwarzkreuz, especially when she badly injures Pamela with an Eiferstachel attack.
* KilledOffForReal: She undergoes a PostDefeatExplosionChain as Dark Devil, then fades away.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Castle of Eternal Night" by Sky God Corridor (stage theme), "Winter Waltz" by Sky God Corridor (talk theme) (shared with Freu)
* ManipulativeBastard: Manipulated the Schwarzkreuz into launching their own coup against the Empire alongside Iris all along.
* TheMole: She reveals herself to be working with Iris after the Schwarzkreuz is defeated, having manipulated the rest of the Schwarzkreuz all along.
* NonIndicativeName: Just like Freudia's above, "Eifer" means "eagerness" in German. She's anything but eager, at least at first glance.
* NotSoStoic: She is a calm EmotionlessGirl who speaks in a CreepyMonotone... unless she sees Freudia, then she switches to a more passionate hatred of her.
* ObviouslyEvil: She has DissonantSerenity minus the smile, as well as HellishPupils and [[EvilIsDeathlyCold deathly cold ice powers in addition to her plant manipulation powers]].
* OneWingedAngel: In Iris's fortress, she turns into the Dark Devil.
%%* OurHomunculiAreDifferent
%%* ScarfOfAsskicking
* SirSwearsALot: If you thought Grolla was the resident queen of this trope due to throwing around the word "damn" a lot and using "bastard" towards Sir Raimund's spirit and "bitch" towards Iris, then Eifer could very easily give her a run for her money with her constant use of "damn" when she's defeated and the fact that she called Freudia and Pamela bitches in both of their stories.
-->'''Eifer''': (to Freu) You bitch...! I'll rip you apart!
* ShoutOut: Her Dark Devil form is a reference to the recuring "Devil" bosses throughout the ''Franchise/MegaMan'' series, being a one-eyed BlobMonster whose main attack is splitting apart and hitting the player with her smaller blob segments. The pattern around her eye more specifically resembles the [[VideoGame/MegaManX5 Shadow Devil]].
* SmugSnake: She seems to carry shades of this, and even constantly alternates between being this and being a ManipulativeBitch. [[OutOfCharacterMoment Her violently fluctuating emotions and mood say it all.]]
%%* SnowMeansDeath: [[spoiler:At least in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel'', according to [[WordOfGod]].]]
* SpikesOfDoom: Used in her boss battle.
* ThisCannotBe: Whenever you defeat her in battle.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Schwarzkreuz is already a group of [[AntiVillain Anti-Villains]] doing witch-hunts for the Church and looking to bring RKS to "justice" and "put down the Walpurgisnacht", but Eifer turns out to be, the most evil of the Schwarzkreuz girls, and [[FauxAffablyEvil she's the only one out of the five who doesn't have any genuine friendliness]], and her true loyalty is to Iris, who has been using her to manipulate the Schwarzkreuz into carrying out her plans.
* UndyingLoyalty: She would rather die in battle against Freudia than abandon her creator Iris.
* WalkingSpoiler: Her true nature and role- a homonculi serving Iris and manipulating the Schwarzkreuz for her own ends- is a big reveal.
* WarmUpBoss: She is the boss of ''Freudenstachel'''s Prologue Stage.

[[caption-width-right:255:"I mean, changing the world? Protecting the Magi? Always with his [Count Zeppelin's] silly little pipe dreams..."]]
->''"Ahaha! That's totally what he'd [Count Zeppelin] say about me, huh? But, lucky you, I couldn't care less about the Church's agenda. I just want to fight. Conflict's just an excuse to bump heads with whoever I want. That's all there is to it."''

->'''Voiced by:''' Mimi.
'''Introduced in:''' ''Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel''

A former member of RKS, Schirach is a fairly mysterious woman who was reported missing a few years ago. She loves fighting so much to the point of obsession that she's simply excited to participate in any fight - and she doesn't care whether she wins or loses. Being TheBrute of the Schwarzkreuz, she's incredibly strong and can carry her hammer, Lichtfaust, with ease.

Her ability of the same name as her hammer allows her to carry and swing it around with great speed and strength. Her abilities far outclass the limitations of regular humans.
----
!!Tropes related with Schirach:
* AffablyEvil: Despite being AxCrazy, she is a great woman she is to be around with her words of encouragement and frieldliness to everyone. And Doris really looks up to her as well.
* AxCrazy: She loves fighting and killing, and expresses dissapointment that the Pope ordered the Magi to be captured unharmed and gave "lots of orders without bloodshed".
* BloodKnight: So much so that even other RKS members were unnerved by it. She doesn't even care if she's the victor of a fight or not, so long as she gets enjoyment out of it.
* BoisterousBruiser: Well, she's the Brute of the Schwarzkreuz, but that doesn't stop her from acting friendly.
* TheBrute: She is the physically strongest of the Schwarzkreuz who weilds a hammer and can cause tremors in battle.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow
* DishingOutDirt: She doesn't explicitly have the ability to conjure earth, but she can do it with her sheer power.
* DissonantSerenity: She is always calm, even when talking about her love of violence.
* FaceHeelTurn: She was a former RKS member and was reported missing a few years ago. And now she's in the Schwarzkreuz.
* FourEyesZeroSoul: Wears glasses and is the most violent, AxCrazy member of both her respective organizations.
* TheGlassesComeOff: Her boss fight intro animation is her removing her glasses.
* GracefulLoser: She takes her defeat by Freudia and Pamela in stride. Win or lose, as long as she gets a good fight, she couldn't care less for the outcome.
* ItAmusedMe: Her reason for fighting, and for defecting from RKS to join Schwarzkreuz, is bascially becuase she felt like it. She loves violence and doesn't care what side she's on.
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Wild Road" by Wingless Seraph (stage theme), "B59" by RP-MUSIC (talk theme)
* MegatonPunch: Has one hell of a punch. Given the chance, it can knock Freu around.
* NobleDemon: She's an AxCrazy enforcer of a despotic regime who actively seeks out violence, but is the type of girl who's more than happy to give her captain some words of encouragement after losing to her.
* ShockwaveStomp: She likes to spam this over and over. When she TurnsRed, she can even send a wave of rocks jutting out from the ground.
* ShoutOut:
** Her initial encounter with Spiritia - being introduced as a past ally before suddenly capturing her and running off - closely mirrors X's encounter with Mac in the opening stage of ''VideoGame/MegaManX3''.
** Her use of {{Shockwave Stomp}}s and boulders carried with sheer strength is similar to [[VideoGame/MegaMan1 Guts Man]].
* SocialDarwinist: She believes that Magi are the "top of the food chain" and thus superior to regular humans, then bluntly tells Freu that she doesn't care if the weak perish or not.
* SuperDeformed: Her Game Over screen shows her and Freudia chibi-fied, [[spoiler:with Schirach competely leveling the RKS' castle]].
* SuperStrength: Her Lichtfaust.
* TokenEvilTeammate: As a member of RKS, she was at best a slacker, and at worst, she's a BloodKnight who's only in for exciting fights and violence instead of better lives for Magi. As seen in the story, she tends to suggest more 'exciting' methods like 'killing' or 'more killing'.
* {{Troll}}: In Weißsilber, Schirach really gets a kick on drilling on Pamela just how incredibly naive she has been.
* TsurimeEyes
* WorthyOpponent: She deems Freudia as one after she (Schirach) loses to her.
* YoureInsane: Her above quote states that she thinks of changing the world as words of a madman. She's also on the receiving end of this by Freu, albeit, not to her face.

Twin sisters who're always seen together, rarely apart. Recht Refraktia, the older of the two, is a very introverted {{Hikikomori}} who dislikes interacting with others but loves to read books. She wears an eyepatch because for some unknown reason she's blind in one eye. Link Refraktia, the younger of the two, is lively and outgoing and keeps her sister so foremost in her thoughts that she'll [[UnstoppableRage stop at nothing to remove any threat to Recht herself]].

Their shared ability is Falschegestalt, which lets them generate a magical shield that reflects special attacks.

----
!!Tropes related with Recht & Link:
* AffablyEvil: Both are part of a group of antagonistic but good-intentioned witch-hunters, and they're both rather personable, with Recht being polite and well-mannered and Link being outgoing and cheerful.
* AlliterativeName: '''R'''echt '''R'''efraktia.
* AlwaysIdenticaltwins: Aside from Recht's eyepatch and mirrored hairstyle, the two look exactly alike.
* BarrierWarrior: They, with their shared ability Falschegestalt, can conjure [[AttackReflector a magical shield that reflects magic attacks.]]
* BerserkButton: If Recht is threatened in any way, Link will [[UnstoppableRage stop at nothing to annihilate the threat]]. She also doesn't take well to what she considers to be Recht getting yelled at. Just ask Pamela when she demanded to know why she was exiled if they were chosen before Schirach.
-->'''Link''': (to Pamela) Hey! Don't you dare yell at Recht!
* DoppelgangerAttack: When below half health, they will start flying around with shadowy copies of themselves, giving the player less breathing room.
* DualBoss: Recht and Link fight the player together,
* EvilGenius: Recht, who of course loves to read books.
* GenkiGirl: Link is lively and outgoing.
* {{Hikikomori}}: Recht doesn't like people very much other than Link.
* ImaginaryFriend: [[spoiler:Link vanishes at the end of the fight, the player character quickly realizing she was being manifested by Recht. To what degree Link is ''still'' imaginary is ambiguous, with Recht insisting she can think for herself in ''Rosenkreuzstilette Weißsilber'']].
* {{Leitmotif}}: "Wizard's Secret Lab" by DEAD END WONDER (stage theme), "Labyrinth" by Unlimited Hellest (talk theme)
* LittleBlackDress: Both the twins wear black nun dresses.
* NunTooHoly: A pair of nuns who are members of an organization that captures Magi and sends them to prison camps.
* PuzzleBoss: Only one of them takes damage. The other will absorb your shots and heal. [[spoiler:There's a reason for this- Recht is real while Link is an ImaginaryFriend.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: Link is the confident, hotheaded red oni, and Recht is the quiet, timid blue oni.
* ShrinkingViolet: Recht is introverted and dislikes interacting with others but nevertheless likes reading books. [[spoiler:Notably, while she falls dead silent to focus on keeping Link beside her when defeated by Freudia, she's willing to explain who Link is to her former ally Pamela when defeated by her in ''Weißsilber''.]]
%%* SiblingYinYang
* ThemeTwinNaming: Respectively. Their names are actually a play on the German words for left and right, Links and Rechts.
* TokenMiniMoe: They are the smallest memebrs of Schwarzkreuz.
* UnstoppableRage: Link if Recht is threatened in any way.
